Bigfoot is All over Gallia County! | Ohio

Join us at Bigfoot Society as we delve into two gripping encounters from Gallia County, Ohio with special guest Jeff. Jeff recounts his experiences from the mid-80s, where he first saw a mysterious, hulking black figure outside his bedroom window. Fast forward to 20 years later, he and his friends hear eerie movements while exploring Wayne National Forest's Chimney Rock, leaving them petrified. Alongside the Bigfoot stories, Jeff also shares a spine-tingling childhood encounter with a masked individual in the woods. This episode sheds light on the rich history of cryptid sightings and other bizarre occurrences in Gallia County and Point Pleasant, West Virginia.

13
00:00:39.439 --> 00:00:41.679
All right, Bigfoot Society. We've got the privilege of talking

14
00:00:41.719 --> 00:00:44.320
to Jeff today. Jeff is an individual that left some

15
00:00:44.439 --> 00:00:48.439
interesting comments over on the YouTube channel and I reached

16
00:00:48.520 --> 00:00:51.039
back out to him and thankfully we're able to be

17
00:00:51.159 --> 00:00:53.840
connected and I was able to come on the show

18
00:00:53.880 --> 00:00:57.640
today to share what he has experienced over the years.

19
00:00:57.640 --> 00:01:00.640
How's it going, Jeff, It's going good.

20
00:01:01.600 --> 00:01:02.479
Thanks for having me.

21
00:01:02.840 --> 00:01:07.480
Absolutely I've been looking forward to hearing your story. I'd say,

22
00:01:07.599 --> 00:01:10.359
let's go ahead and without any further ado, I'm going

23
00:01:10.400 --> 00:01:13.159
to go ahead and hand things over to you. You're

24
00:01:13.159 --> 00:01:16.840
welcome to take us back to the area where this

25
00:01:16.920 --> 00:01:20.159
first started. And the floor is yours.

26
00:01:20.959 --> 00:01:21.719
Okay.

27
00:01:21.760 --> 00:01:25.640
Well, it was in the early I will say mid eighties,

28
00:01:26.079 --> 00:01:31.200
probably around eighty six or eighty seven or so, and

29
00:01:31.480 --> 00:01:32.599
we had just moved.

30
00:01:32.640 --> 00:01:33.519
It was in an area.

31
00:01:33.920 --> 00:01:37.000
It was in Galley County in Lio and we had

32
00:01:37.079 --> 00:01:40.400
just moved out to this. We lived in a small

33
00:01:40.439 --> 00:01:43.760
town and we had moved out into the country and

34
00:01:43.920 --> 00:01:45.799
we just bought a place and everything.

35
00:01:45.920 --> 00:01:49.439
We had been there probably thirty.

36
00:01:49.239 --> 00:01:52.519
Days, maybe not maybe not even that long, and we've

37
00:01:52.599 --> 00:01:55.959
just gotten moved in and starting to get settled in.

38
00:01:56.519 --> 00:02:00.719
And one night I was asleep and I had to

39
00:02:00.760 --> 00:02:03.159
get up and use the restroom and everything. So I

40
00:02:03.200 --> 00:02:05.719
got up and there was a window kind of like

41
00:02:05.840 --> 00:02:08.240
right by my bed, a couple of feet away, and

42
00:02:08.319 --> 00:02:11.280
I walked by it. Didn't think intentionally. I was kind

43
00:02:11.280 --> 00:02:13.960
of had to sleep. They use the restroom, come back,

44
00:02:14.000 --> 00:02:16.680
and I get in bed, and I kind of feel like,

45
00:02:17.199 --> 00:02:19.800
I don't know, you ever get that funny feeling like

46
00:02:20.240 --> 00:02:24.599
something's watching here, not right, or you know whatnot, And

47
00:02:24.680 --> 00:02:31.639
so I'd kind of roll over and there was this big, huge,

48
00:02:31.680 --> 00:02:37.000
solid black thing at my window, and the window was

49
00:02:37.000 --> 00:02:39.080
several feet off the ground at the bottom of it,

50
00:02:39.599 --> 00:02:41.840
and then I'm going to say the top of the

51
00:02:41.840 --> 00:02:46.960
window was just guestimate seven to eight feet or so

52
00:02:47.199 --> 00:02:50.280
off the ground if you were standing there. And this

53
00:02:50.360 --> 00:02:53.000
thing took up like the almost pretty much the whole window,

54
00:02:53.599 --> 00:02:56.240
and its head was at the top shoulders was as

55
00:02:56.280 --> 00:02:59.879
wide as a window, and it just completely you could

56
00:02:59.879 --> 00:03:02.479
see a little bit, you know, over your shoulders behind it.

57
00:03:02.879 --> 00:03:04.719
And I just didn't know what to think at first.

58
00:03:04.879 --> 00:03:08.639
It really scared me and freaked me out, and something

59
00:03:08.719 --> 00:03:11.800
like running through my head, like you know what this is.

60
00:03:11.919 --> 00:03:15.759
And I had some family lived across the street, some

61
00:03:15.879 --> 00:03:19.439
young cousins and stuff, so at first I thought maybe somebody,

62
00:03:19.560 --> 00:03:24.360
you know, messing around, franking me whatever, And so the

63
00:03:24.360 --> 00:03:27.000
more I kind of just you know, going through things

64
00:03:27.039 --> 00:03:29.680
in my head. And then there was a pole light

65
00:03:29.840 --> 00:03:32.000
a lot on a telephone pole out in the yard,

66
00:03:32.039 --> 00:03:36.879
probably fifty to sixty yards behind this scene, and you

67
00:03:36.879 --> 00:03:39.800
couldn't see through it, so it definitely wasn't like just

68
00:03:39.879 --> 00:03:44.800
some shadow casting or anything like that. And so I

69
00:03:44.919 --> 00:03:49.680
laid mere staring at it for several minutes, and the

70
00:03:49.719 --> 00:03:52.360
longer I stared at it, you couldn't make out no

71
00:03:52.520 --> 00:03:55.840
real details like of the body or nothing. It was

72
00:03:55.919 --> 00:03:59.840
just really close to the windows, like solid black. And

73
00:04:00.840 --> 00:04:03.400
so I stand there or I laid there and looked

74
00:04:03.400 --> 00:04:06.919
at it, and it never moved, and of course I

75
00:04:07.039 --> 00:04:10.199
was frozen. I never moved either, and we kind of

76
00:04:10.199 --> 00:04:13.719
stared at each other for a while. And the longer

77
00:04:13.759 --> 00:04:18.160
it stood there, which was several minutes, felt like a

78
00:04:18.199 --> 00:04:21.439
long time, you know how that goes, And the thing

79
00:04:21.560 --> 00:04:25.560
finally moved. It turned to its side right when I

80
00:04:25.680 --> 00:04:28.680
was just thinking, you know, this is nothing, because at

81
00:04:28.680 --> 00:04:30.959
the time, I didn't even know what a big foot was.

82
00:04:31.040 --> 00:04:34.040
I never heard of one, didn't know nothing about it.

83
00:04:34.720 --> 00:04:37.480
And so it turned to its side, and it took

84
00:04:37.560 --> 00:04:40.879
one step and it was out of the window, like

85
00:04:40.959 --> 00:04:46.240
completely gone with one step, and you could almost hear

86
00:04:46.319 --> 00:04:48.920
it walking around the side of the house.

87
00:04:49.839 --> 00:04:51.920
And the first thing that went through my.

88
00:04:51.920 --> 00:04:54.800
Head as a young kid, I was like, all, this

89
00:04:54.879 --> 00:04:56.639
thing's gonna go around the back t I come in

90
00:04:56.680 --> 00:05:02.399
the back door, or something to that effect. But you know,

91
00:05:02.480 --> 00:05:05.040
it just walked off and it never messed with the

92
00:05:05.079 --> 00:05:07.480
house no more or whatever. I lived there quiet for

93
00:05:07.920 --> 00:05:09.839
a long time after that. I couldn't even go back

94
00:05:09.879 --> 00:05:15.839
to sleep. And so this was pretty far out in

95
00:05:15.879 --> 00:05:17.160
the country in.

96
00:05:17.160 --> 00:05:19.920
Gatty County, Ohio, and like kind of.

97
00:05:19.839 --> 00:05:23.319
Where Gay County meets Jackson and some other counties out there,

98
00:05:23.439 --> 00:05:27.360
there's a wildlife area. It's called Wayne National Forest, and

99
00:05:27.600 --> 00:05:31.480
the property butted up against some of the Wayne National

100
00:05:31.480 --> 00:05:35.720
Forest property and that's an area of if I'm not mistaken,

101
00:05:35.759 --> 00:05:38.120
I looked it up one time. I think total it's

102
00:05:38.160 --> 00:05:41.439
like one hundred and forty four thousand square acres of

103
00:05:41.800 --> 00:05:46.959
national forests. And so, you know, I didn't know what

104
00:05:47.000 --> 00:05:50.560
it was. And like I never really told my grandma

105
00:05:50.600 --> 00:05:53.279
about him or nothing, because I lived with my grandmother

106
00:05:53.439 --> 00:05:57.160
when I was a small kid. And so fast forward

107
00:05:57.240 --> 00:06:01.600
a couple of years and I was we had moved

108
00:06:01.800 --> 00:06:05.439
back out of there, and I was going to school

109
00:06:06.279 --> 00:06:08.879
and they was a kid that was in my class

110
00:06:08.920 --> 00:06:13.759
with me, and there was a lake outside of Ryogrando,

111
00:06:13.879 --> 00:06:17.560
Hi called Tycoon Lake, and this kid and his family

112
00:06:17.639 --> 00:06:20.439
lived like on the back side of this lake, and

113
00:06:21.160 --> 00:06:26.120
he started talking about Bigfoot, and of course I was intrigued.

114
00:06:26.160 --> 00:06:29.439
I didn't know anything about it, and he showed me

115
00:06:30.199 --> 00:06:32.920
told me that his mom had seen Bigfoot in her

116
00:06:32.920 --> 00:06:36.560
backyard like a bunch of times, and she would sketch

117
00:06:37.240 --> 00:06:40.199
what it looked like. And he had these sketchings he

118
00:06:40.240 --> 00:06:43.079
brought to school with him. And that's how I knew

119
00:06:43.160 --> 00:06:46.879
then what I seen at my bedroom window when I was,

120
00:06:47.079 --> 00:06:49.160
you know, like a year prior to kind of freaked

121
00:06:49.199 --> 00:06:52.279
me out, and you know, but it was I kind

122
00:06:52.279 --> 00:06:54.759
of knew what, you know, what it was at my

123
00:06:54.800 --> 00:06:56.199
window then when I'd seen it.

124
00:06:56.600 --> 00:06:58.160
And there's a bunch of men, a bunch of.

125
00:06:58.120 --> 00:07:01.720
Sightings in that area and in Galu County, I guess

126
00:07:02.040 --> 00:07:04.560
I found out like there was some going all the

127
00:07:04.560 --> 00:07:08.000
way back to the eighteen hundreds in that area actually,

128
00:07:08.839 --> 00:07:11.240
and I think it talked about one on the show

129
00:07:11.319 --> 00:07:16.639
I was watching that I'd commented on actually. So then

130
00:07:16.759 --> 00:07:23.319
fast forward, probably twenty some years later, me and some

131
00:07:23.399 --> 00:07:26.279
of my friends decided that we were going to go

132
00:07:26.319 --> 00:07:29.800
out to Wayne National. There's a big rock out there

133
00:07:29.839 --> 00:07:32.079
and we would all go out there and hang out sometimes,

134
00:07:32.720 --> 00:07:36.000
and me and like three or four of my friends

135
00:07:36.319 --> 00:07:39.920
and my brother was with us as well, and we

136
00:07:40.000 --> 00:07:45.120
went out there. Now this is only like probably five

137
00:07:45.240 --> 00:07:48.319
miles through the woods to where I had the first

138
00:07:48.399 --> 00:07:52.279
encounter out and so we go out there in the

139
00:07:52.319 --> 00:07:56.439
evening time and there's we walked. You got to walk

140
00:07:56.480 --> 00:07:59.800
through the woods like fifteen minutes or so to get

141
00:07:59.839 --> 00:08:02.480
to where we were going to this big rock. It's

142
00:08:02.519 --> 00:08:05.839
like five stories tall, and you can go around the

143
00:08:05.839 --> 00:08:08.240
side of the rock and climb up and get on

144
00:08:08.279 --> 00:08:11.439
top of this rock and you're like in the tree canopy.

145
00:08:11.920 --> 00:08:14.759
You're like way up off the ground. And we were

146
00:08:14.800 --> 00:08:18.480
just up there, you know, having a good time talking

147
00:08:19.079 --> 00:08:23.439
and like I had told these people about my encounter

148
00:08:23.480 --> 00:08:26.319
at some point in time. They're in our friendship, you know,

149
00:08:26.360 --> 00:08:28.959
and they all just kind of brushed it off.

150
00:08:28.800 --> 00:08:31.720
And you know, got to giggle out of it or whatever.

151
00:08:32.559 --> 00:08:36.120
And so we were out there hanging out and there's

152
00:08:36.159 --> 00:08:39.879
a creek that flows I'm not for sure, probably seventy

153
00:08:39.879 --> 00:08:43.519
five hundred yards from this rock, maybe not even that much,

154
00:08:43.960 --> 00:08:45.200
and it had rained a lot.

155
00:08:45.960 --> 00:08:46.519
It was like.

156
00:08:48.120 --> 00:08:52.440
Late springtime, said, and it had flooded and receded, but

157
00:08:52.519 --> 00:08:55.879
there was still a bunch of floodwater backed up backwater

158
00:08:56.080 --> 00:08:59.200
in certain areas there. And we were just up on

159
00:08:59.240 --> 00:09:03.679
top of this rock, mine and our own business, talking whatever.

160
00:09:03.960 --> 00:09:08.679
And I'd heard something, and my buddies heard it too,

161
00:09:09.600 --> 00:09:14.840
and it was like when you get into say water

162
00:09:15.200 --> 00:09:18.840
that's like a little over knee deep and you've got

163
00:09:18.879 --> 00:09:23.039
to wave through it like a person two on two

164
00:09:23.159 --> 00:09:27.360
legs makes a certain sound wading through water, and so

165
00:09:27.519 --> 00:09:30.159
you like if it's a deer or something like that,

166
00:09:30.519 --> 00:09:33.399
it doesn't make the same sound. If any noise at all,

167
00:09:33.559 --> 00:09:37.320
usually depend on how deep the water is. And well,

168
00:09:37.360 --> 00:09:41.120
when we heard this, I told everybody else to be quiet,

169
00:09:41.559 --> 00:09:44.399
and then they heard it too, and they kind of

170
00:09:44.399 --> 00:09:49.879
freaked everybody out because everything in the woods got super

171
00:09:49.919 --> 00:09:53.759
silent when we heard this, Like you could have heard

172
00:09:53.799 --> 00:09:57.519
a pin drop a mile away. There was like no crickets,

173
00:09:57.840 --> 00:10:02.519
no birds, no frogs, no nothing, and like it literally

174
00:10:02.559 --> 00:10:03.759
scared everybody there.

175
00:10:04.799 --> 00:10:05.679
But now.

176
00:10:07.279 --> 00:10:10.559
You could get a little bit of a glimpse of

177
00:10:10.559 --> 00:10:13.080
what it was through the trees because now, mind you,

178
00:10:13.159 --> 00:10:16.000
we were way up and this thing was way down

179
00:10:16.039 --> 00:10:18.519
on the ground and it was kind of far away too,

180
00:10:19.159 --> 00:10:22.759
but you could you could just hear it walking through

181
00:10:22.799 --> 00:10:26.720
the water, wading through the water, and it just really

182
00:10:26.720 --> 00:10:30.000
freaked everybody out, and nobody would go down off to

183
00:10:30.039 --> 00:10:33.600
the top of this rock, like because our car was,

184
00:10:34.320 --> 00:10:37.279
you know, fifteen minutes through the woods, parked out on

185
00:10:37.320 --> 00:10:40.759
the road, and nobody would wanted to get down and

186
00:10:40.799 --> 00:10:44.559
go to the car. And you know, it really freaked

187
00:10:44.559 --> 00:10:49.279
all these guys out. And we stayed there until probably

188
00:10:49.639 --> 00:10:53.600
an hour after this happened. And really, you know, we

189
00:10:53.759 --> 00:10:56.600
just it just walked and it was just going somewhere, like,

190
00:10:57.200 --> 00:10:59.919
you know, it didn't even know if it knew we

191
00:10:59.919 --> 00:11:03.120
were were there. It was trying to get away or something.

192
00:11:03.240 --> 00:11:05.200
You know, I don't know if this thing was just

193
00:11:05.240 --> 00:11:09.480
passing through and we stooped it or what. But so

194
00:11:09.600 --> 00:11:13.559
we finally it started getting dark on us, and I

195
00:11:13.679 --> 00:11:16.080
told the guys, you know, like I don't know about

196
00:11:16.120 --> 00:11:17.799
you guys, but I don't want to be walking back

197
00:11:17.799 --> 00:11:20.039
to the car and pitch black because we didn't have

198
00:11:20.080 --> 00:11:23.799
no flash lights nothing. So we finally come down off

199
00:11:23.919 --> 00:11:27.759
there and we made it back to the car. And

200
00:11:28.720 --> 00:11:33.480
to still to this day, everybody that was there with us,

201
00:11:33.919 --> 00:11:37.000
they will not go back out to that area with me,

202
00:11:37.759 --> 00:11:41.039
you know what I mean, Like, and they're they're all

203
00:11:41.080 --> 00:11:44.399
petrified of it. Won't go back out there. I've tried

204
00:11:44.399 --> 00:11:46.919
to get him to go back out there a couple.

205
00:11:46.559 --> 00:11:48.200
Of times now, my brother.

206
00:11:48.679 --> 00:11:50.639
He goes back out there with me, but none of

207
00:11:50.639 --> 00:11:53.360
the other guys would and it's.

208
00:11:53.200 --> 00:11:54.000
Pretty neat though.

209
00:11:55.559 --> 00:11:57.919
I'm glad that I got to experience that with some

210
00:11:58.000 --> 00:12:01.240
of these guys, because I think they just didn't take

211
00:12:01.279 --> 00:12:04.159
me seriously when I told them what I'd seen. And

212
00:12:04.960 --> 00:12:06.919
you know, it was only just a few miles from

213
00:12:06.960 --> 00:12:09.919
where I'd seen the first encounter at so it was

214
00:12:10.039 --> 00:12:13.759
pretty wild time there the second time. But there's a

215
00:12:13.759 --> 00:12:17.559
lot of land out there, so you know, anything could

216
00:12:17.559 --> 00:12:20.480
be out there if you think about, you know, all

217
00:12:20.480 --> 00:12:23.679
those thousands of acres, it's got plenty of places to

218
00:12:23.720 --> 00:12:26.639
be and done with time anybody's out there would be

219
00:12:27.399 --> 00:12:32.120
you know, hunting season or whatever maybe. So that's pretty

220
00:12:32.159 --> 00:12:36.919
much about my experiences with it in the Galu County

221
00:12:36.960 --> 00:12:39.720
area there. I live in West Virginia now, but I

222
00:12:39.759 --> 00:12:42.519
grew up there in Ohio Galley County my whole life,

223
00:12:44.080 --> 00:12:48.480
like thirty some years so, and I've had some other

224
00:12:48.600 --> 00:12:52.039
friends that would say, you know, that they've seen things

225
00:12:52.639 --> 00:12:56.399
to or heard something while they were there, because I

226
00:12:56.440 --> 00:12:58.639
knew a lot of people that lived around that area

227
00:12:58.720 --> 00:13:03.320
that was close to that Wayne National Wildlife also.

228
00:13:03.279 --> 00:13:08.320
So Jeff, thank you for sharing what you experienced over

229
00:13:08.360 --> 00:13:11.759
the years. I do want to also point out something

230
00:13:11.759 --> 00:13:16.120
about this county. It is right across the river from

231
00:13:16.240 --> 00:13:19.279
Point Pleasant, West Virginia, so that kind of puts a whole,

232
00:13:19.960 --> 00:13:22.519
you know, other spin on it. A lot of people

233
00:13:22.639 --> 00:13:26.159
probably know about Point Pleasant and that area. Well, this

234
00:13:26.279 --> 00:13:29.840
county right across the Ohio River. So yeah, there's a

235
00:13:29.879 --> 00:13:34.120
lot of weird stuff even besides Bigfoot that's going on

236
00:13:34.559 --> 00:13:40.200
in this area. Yeah, you know, I grew up had

237
00:13:40.240 --> 00:13:43.799
the Mothman and and all sorts of all sorts of weird,

238
00:13:43.879 --> 00:13:47.279
weird stuff around that area. You know, I grew up

239
00:13:47.360 --> 00:13:53.320
out in western Massachusetts. We had a large, large rock

240
00:13:53.399 --> 00:13:55.840
out in the woods out where I grew up in

241
00:13:55.879 --> 00:13:59.559
Franklin County, and allegedly had a name. It was called

242
00:13:59.600 --> 00:14:03.440
wap and supposed to mean big Rock. Now, I don't

243
00:14:03.440 --> 00:14:05.039
know if that was just a story my dad came

244
00:14:05.120 --> 00:14:06.759
up with or if that was actually true or not.

245
00:14:06.879 --> 00:14:10.799
But did the locals have a name for this rock

246
00:14:11.080 --> 00:14:12.679
area in Wayne National?

247
00:14:14.120 --> 00:14:17.360
Yes, I think they do, And I'm trying to remember

248
00:14:18.039 --> 00:14:21.159
if my memory serves right, I think they called it

249
00:14:21.360 --> 00:14:22.440
Chimney Rock.

250
00:14:23.960 --> 00:14:25.960
Possibly. I think I looked it up.

251
00:14:25.919 --> 00:14:28.759
One time just happened to google it one day to

252
00:14:28.799 --> 00:14:31.720
see if I could, you know, if there was anything

253
00:14:31.799 --> 00:14:33.919
linked to that rock where we werea in that name.

254
00:14:34.000 --> 00:14:37.320
And there's some old stories with that rock that go

255
00:14:37.440 --> 00:14:39.799
all the way back to I don't know, sometime maybe

256
00:14:39.840 --> 00:14:43.360
early eighteen hundreds, something about a family that had stayed

257
00:14:43.360 --> 00:14:47.279
there and the wife got ill or something, and I'm

258
00:14:47.279 --> 00:14:50.200
not sure the story, but if you can look it up,

259
00:14:50.240 --> 00:14:53.480
I'm pretty sure they the locals named for its Chimney Rock.

260
00:14:54.480 --> 00:14:58.159
Interesting. Sounded like it was your your buddy and this

261
00:14:58.399 --> 00:15:01.960
was the account that was up by Haycoon Lake, and

262
00:15:02.000 --> 00:15:04.519
so you were able to see these drawings that your

263
00:15:04.559 --> 00:15:08.440
buddy's mom was making of the Bigfoot in that area.

264
00:15:09.840 --> 00:15:13.000
Yeah, he brought them to school, and you know, it

265
00:15:13.039 --> 00:15:18.039
was pretty interesting because, like I said, I didn't even know, you.

266
00:15:18.000 --> 00:15:19.559
Know, what bigfoot was.

267
00:15:19.840 --> 00:15:23.159
When I had had my first encounter, and it just

268
00:15:23.240 --> 00:15:25.639
creeked me out because every time I'd go out in

269
00:15:25.679 --> 00:15:29.039
the yard, I'd be by myself, and you know, I

270
00:15:29.159 --> 00:15:31.600
was always like one of those get up early kids,

271
00:15:31.919 --> 00:15:34.799
you know what I mean. I'd be outside sometimes right

272
00:15:34.840 --> 00:15:38.120
after the sun comes up or at dawn or whatever,

273
00:15:38.240 --> 00:15:38.799
and I.

274
00:15:38.799 --> 00:15:41.679
Don't know it was always uneasy playing out in the yard.

275
00:15:42.559 --> 00:15:44.519
You know, I didn't want to go outside much and

276
00:15:44.639 --> 00:15:47.720
stay out there very long, and I don't know, it

277
00:15:47.879 --> 00:15:50.279
just kind of creeped me out after that, and I

278
00:15:50.519 --> 00:15:53.759
really wasn't into you know, I'd go outside and ride

279
00:15:53.840 --> 00:15:56.600
my bike or whatever because we had a big garden.

280
00:15:56.759 --> 00:15:58.559
My aunt lived across the street and we had a

281
00:15:58.559 --> 00:16:02.039
big garden right inside the house who had corn and

282
00:16:02.080 --> 00:16:07.720
everything in it. So sometimes visibility past a certain spot there,

283
00:16:08.000 --> 00:16:10.320
you know, something could be in the garden around the

284
00:16:10.320 --> 00:16:13.720
corn you'd never even know was there. So I just

285
00:16:13.759 --> 00:16:17.320
always had a creepy feeling even after that, like something

286
00:16:17.399 --> 00:16:20.519
was watching me or whatever. But I never seen nothing

287
00:16:20.559 --> 00:16:25.320
after that, and that time right there was enough. But yeah,

288
00:16:25.360 --> 00:16:27.600
the kid had drawings, and he brought him to school

289
00:16:27.600 --> 00:16:30.279
and showed them to me, and they looked a lot

290
00:16:30.320 --> 00:16:32.720
like you know, a lot of the big Foot drawings

291
00:16:32.720 --> 00:16:34.840
you'd see that anybody else.

292
00:16:34.679 --> 00:16:40.039
Would do, so like the classic pose where it's walking,

293
00:16:40.720 --> 00:16:43.559
you know, the same direction as Patty and all that.

294
00:16:45.080 --> 00:16:47.320
Yeah, it was a couple of them. It was just

295
00:16:47.440 --> 00:16:49.879
standing by like a tree in the back corner of

296
00:16:49.919 --> 00:16:53.879
the yard. And I'm pretty sure I think his mom said,

297
00:16:54.879 --> 00:16:58.039
or he told me that his mom would like leave

298
00:16:58.200 --> 00:17:01.799
apples out and stuff for this, and it would they

299
00:17:01.799 --> 00:17:03.440
would come back and the apples would.

300
00:17:03.279 --> 00:17:04.279
Be gone or whatever.

301
00:17:04.920 --> 00:17:08.000
And I've heard that in other stories too, people leaving

302
00:17:08.079 --> 00:17:11.759
stuff out, but they never didn't say anything about that's

303
00:17:11.799 --> 00:17:13.960
a bag. Basically, all they said was that his mom

304
00:17:14.079 --> 00:17:17.839
and I'm guessing she had several encounters because he had

305
00:17:18.160 --> 00:17:23.400
I don't know, ten fifteen drawings that his mama did.

306
00:17:23.440 --> 00:17:25.200
He brought him to school and was showing us all

307
00:17:25.279 --> 00:17:27.759
to you know, all the drawings and everything.

308
00:17:28.039 --> 00:17:31.119
Well, that's so fascinating. There must be quite a story

309
00:17:31.160 --> 00:17:35.559
behind that. And you know, I would even be curious

310
00:17:35.599 --> 00:17:39.720
if people listening are from that area, you know there

311
00:17:39.839 --> 00:17:42.599
there could even be things going on in that area

312
00:17:42.680 --> 00:17:48.119
to this day. Yeah, you had said something interesting. I

313
00:17:48.119 --> 00:17:50.559
think I heard it right when you were talking about

314
00:17:50.680 --> 00:17:55.759
when you first saw it by your window and what

315
00:17:56.200 --> 00:17:59.079
age were you approximately again at that time.

316
00:17:58.920 --> 00:18:01.119
I was I was seven or eight years old.

317
00:18:01.240 --> 00:18:04.759
Okay, do you did you refer to it as a she?

318
00:18:05.960 --> 00:18:09.880
I don't really, you couldn't really tell, you know what

319
00:18:09.920 --> 00:18:13.640
I mean. Like now, with like the Patterson film and

320
00:18:13.680 --> 00:18:16.640
all that, you can kind of really tell that. I

321
00:18:16.640 --> 00:18:19.279
think you know that one's like a female obviously, right,

322
00:18:19.759 --> 00:18:22.119
But now this one, I don't know.

323
00:18:22.160 --> 00:18:23.680
I was just so freaked out. I don't know.

324
00:18:23.720 --> 00:18:26.200
I didn't really pay that much attention when it turned

325
00:18:26.240 --> 00:18:29.759
sideways and walked off because it when it moved, it

326
00:18:29.839 --> 00:18:32.160
really freaked me out, you know what I mean, Like.

327
00:18:32.119 --> 00:18:35.799
Because at first I it never moved for minutes.

328
00:18:36.400 --> 00:18:40.319
I mean, it didn't twitch, jerk, shake, nothing, So I

329
00:18:40.359 --> 00:18:43.480
really thought it was nothing after laying there staring at

330
00:18:43.519 --> 00:18:46.279
it for like I said, now, it could only been

331
00:18:47.200 --> 00:18:49.079
two minutes, could have been a minute.

332
00:18:49.119 --> 00:18:51.960
You know, sometimes it feels like eternity when you're looking

333
00:18:52.000 --> 00:18:52.880
at something like that.

334
00:18:53.880 --> 00:18:59.119
Sure, when you're looking at it and you can see

335
00:18:59.160 --> 00:19:02.160
something through the wind, were you able to see any

336
00:19:02.200 --> 00:19:05.319
details of the face or was it more just it

337
00:19:05.359 --> 00:19:09.680
was a big solid black mass by that window.

338
00:19:10.000 --> 00:19:13.240
Yeah, it was just a big solid black mass. Like

339
00:19:13.440 --> 00:19:16.599
I've heard people say stuff about like eyeballs, like the

340
00:19:16.599 --> 00:19:20.559
eyes were glowing or reflecting or whatever. There was none

341
00:19:20.599 --> 00:19:23.519
of that. But there wasn't any light coming out of

342
00:19:23.559 --> 00:19:26.680
my house at all because the lights were off in

343
00:19:26.720 --> 00:19:29.559
the bedroom and there was a light out in the

344
00:19:29.640 --> 00:19:33.319
yard behind it. So the whole front of it was

345
00:19:33.400 --> 00:19:34.640
just solid black.

346
00:19:35.359 --> 00:19:35.960
You could tail.

347
00:19:36.000 --> 00:19:40.519
It looked muscular, like really big and muscular, you know

348
00:19:40.559 --> 00:19:43.440
what I mean. It looked like you could definitely tell it.

349
00:19:43.440 --> 00:19:47.240
It was really broad shoulder, and you could tell it

350
00:19:47.279 --> 00:19:50.160
was huge, you know what I mean. Like its head

351
00:19:50.359 --> 00:19:53.240
was all the way up at the top of the window,

352
00:19:54.000 --> 00:19:56.839
like it didn't its head didn't go above the window,

353
00:19:56.920 --> 00:19:57.680
but its head.

354
00:19:57.599 --> 00:20:00.720
The top of its head was it like the top

355
00:20:00.759 --> 00:20:01.359
of the window.

356
00:20:03.359 --> 00:20:06.240
Were you hearing it make any noises at all? Or

357
00:20:06.279 --> 00:20:10.319
would you hear strange noises by your house other times?

358
00:20:11.160 --> 00:20:12.640
No, not really.

359
00:20:12.960 --> 00:20:15.440
I heard it take a couple of steps when it

360
00:20:15.480 --> 00:20:20.759
walked away, and I don't remember really any strange noises

361
00:20:20.880 --> 00:20:24.519
or anything after that. But things would get really eerie

362
00:20:24.559 --> 00:20:27.519
and really quiet, And I think that's kind of what

363
00:20:27.680 --> 00:20:31.079
freaked me out too. When I'd be outside early in

364
00:20:31.119 --> 00:20:33.680
the morning, because you know, early in the morning when

365
00:20:33.680 --> 00:20:35.920
you live in the country, the birds are chirping, they're

366
00:20:35.960 --> 00:20:39.759
going off, you know, everything is kind of coming awake

367
00:20:39.839 --> 00:20:43.519
for the day, and I'd be outside and there would

368
00:20:43.599 --> 00:20:47.319
it just be sometimes it just be really quiet and eerie,

369
00:20:47.559 --> 00:20:47.960
like you.

370
00:20:47.920 --> 00:20:52.960
Know, And we only lived there for probably I don't know.

371
00:20:53.039 --> 00:20:55.759
I'm gonna say we only lived in this location for

372
00:20:56.319 --> 00:20:59.279
six to eight months, and then we ended up moving

373
00:21:00.319 --> 00:21:03.160
back to in the same town we originally lived in.

374
00:21:03.880 --> 00:21:06.680
And I don't really remember why we did that because

375
00:21:06.680 --> 00:21:08.640
I was kind of young and it was so long ago.

376
00:21:08.680 --> 00:21:11.400
But yeah, it just I don't know, I had an

377
00:21:11.440 --> 00:21:14.759
odd feeling to it. When you go outside and I

378
00:21:14.839 --> 00:21:18.319
was always by myself. There was no other kids there,

379
00:21:18.720 --> 00:21:21.079
you know, so just be me outside with my bike,

380
00:21:21.880 --> 00:21:23.799
and I'd get just every now and then to get

381
00:21:23.799 --> 00:21:27.000
freaked out, and I don't know, just said it really

382
00:21:27.160 --> 00:21:27.920
revide to it.

383
00:21:28.359 --> 00:21:32.279
Yeah, absolutely did. What did your parents think about this,

384
00:21:32.279 --> 00:21:34.799
this whole deal where you'd seen something through your window?

385
00:21:35.400 --> 00:21:39.200
Well I didn't say anything my grandma at first about it,

386
00:21:39.920 --> 00:21:43.400
but later on I had told my mom about it,

387
00:21:43.920 --> 00:21:47.440
and she was saying, oh, maybe it was a bear

388
00:21:48.039 --> 00:21:50.400
or something to that fact, you know what I mean.

389
00:21:50.839 --> 00:21:55.160
But I mean in that area, there's really, especially back then,

390
00:21:55.440 --> 00:21:57.920
there's really not a lot of bears. Now there is

391
00:21:58.039 --> 00:22:01.119
a few every now and then that might come across

392
00:22:01.160 --> 00:22:04.559
the High River from West Virginia. There hasn't been noted

393
00:22:04.640 --> 00:22:08.359
something that's come across into Ohio, but really if you

394
00:22:08.920 --> 00:22:11.759
do some research, they really don't. We really didn't have

395
00:22:11.799 --> 00:22:14.519
a lot of black bears or anything of that nature,

396
00:22:15.240 --> 00:22:18.319
so and don't I'm just a black bear wouldn't have

397
00:22:18.319 --> 00:22:18.799
looked like.

398
00:22:18.960 --> 00:22:22.559
Standing on tind legs at my window, you know.

399
00:22:23.240 --> 00:22:28.200
Like its arms was down to its side and it

400
00:22:28.279 --> 00:22:30.920
just stood there like I guess. I don't know if

401
00:22:30.920 --> 00:22:32.720
it was at the window when I walked by the

402
00:22:32.759 --> 00:22:35.359
first time, because I was like half asleep. You know,

403
00:22:35.480 --> 00:22:37.720
you just wake up and you you know, you go

404
00:22:37.920 --> 00:22:40.480
use the restroom and you come back. And we didn't

405
00:22:40.480 --> 00:22:42.720
even have no curtains on the window yet, on the

406
00:22:42.720 --> 00:22:46.160
bedroom window, because we just moved in there.

407
00:22:46.519 --> 00:22:48.079
You know, slightly before this.

408
00:22:49.039 --> 00:22:52.440
And you could see the hole that it just took

409
00:22:52.480 --> 00:22:54.559
up the whole window except for you could see over

410
00:22:54.640 --> 00:22:58.599
its shoulders, and you know, everything was just blacked out.

411
00:23:00.839 --> 00:23:02.839
And I don't know really what time it was, but

412
00:23:02.920 --> 00:23:06.599
it was it had to have been two, three, four o'clock.

413
00:23:06.279 --> 00:23:09.680
In the morning, Okay, sure, it was just really really late,

414
00:23:09.799 --> 00:23:10.359
really dark.

415
00:23:10.400 --> 00:23:15.960
Ass How long had this house been vacant for before

416
00:23:15.960 --> 00:23:18.480
you guys moved into it.

417
00:23:18.480 --> 00:23:21.720
It was a brand new it was all branded it.

418
00:23:21.799 --> 00:23:24.720
We just put it there Okay.

419
00:23:24.720 --> 00:23:27.079
It was. Yeah. It was like a like a double

420
00:23:27.079 --> 00:23:28.279
wide mobile home.

421
00:23:30.039 --> 00:23:33.400
And my grandma had bought it and had it put there,

422
00:23:33.599 --> 00:23:37.200
so there was nothing there. It was just an open

423
00:23:37.279 --> 00:23:40.359
field and I had had like it always had some

424
00:23:40.480 --> 00:23:43.960
kind of gorden over there. And the rest of it

425
00:23:44.000 --> 00:23:46.799
was we just come in and plant this thing in

426
00:23:46.799 --> 00:23:48.599
the middle of this field, you.

427
00:23:48.559 --> 00:23:50.759
Know what I mean, So that the thing was probably

428
00:23:50.799 --> 00:23:52.319
like what is this? You know what I mean?

429
00:23:52.680 --> 00:23:55.559
No, yeah, I'm totally getting it now because I mean,

430
00:23:56.799 --> 00:23:59.440
before you're there, it sounds like it's pretty much just

431
00:23:59.599 --> 00:24:02.839
a food you know, there's a garden and all that,

432
00:24:02.920 --> 00:24:05.000
and then all of a sudden, you guys show up

433
00:24:05.039 --> 00:24:07.880
and it's like, well, what's going on here? And there's

434
00:24:08.559 --> 00:24:12.240
these this kid running around and making noise and stuff,

435
00:24:12.240 --> 00:24:15.160
and yeah, I could totally see something like this happening. Man,

436
00:24:15.440 --> 00:24:15.960
that's wild.

437
00:24:17.440 --> 00:24:17.680
Yeah.

438
00:24:18.000 --> 00:24:20.119
Like I say, it was like we just I could

439
00:24:20.200 --> 00:24:22.799
see it being curious of what is it?

440
00:24:23.200 --> 00:24:25.440
You know what I mean, Like it was never here before.

441
00:24:26.880 --> 00:24:29.119
So but yeah, the.

442
00:24:29.160 --> 00:24:32.599
Second encounter was was kind of crazy though, because all

443
00:24:32.720 --> 00:24:35.880
you know, because i mean, let's face it, some people

444
00:24:35.920 --> 00:24:39.000
you tell about this stuff and a lot of people

445
00:24:39.079 --> 00:24:41.960
see things and they don't ever tell nobody h because

446
00:24:41.960 --> 00:24:44.039
they're just afraid people is not gonna believe them. They're

447
00:24:44.039 --> 00:24:46.880
gonna laugh at them, think they're crazy, you know whatever.

448
00:24:47.599 --> 00:24:50.319
And you know, all my buddies got a big laugh

449
00:24:50.400 --> 00:24:52.359
kick out of it when I'd ever told them the

450
00:24:52.400 --> 00:24:56.039
story over the years. And then after when this happened

451
00:24:57.079 --> 00:25:00.319
and we were on top of that rock, you know,

452
00:25:00.880 --> 00:25:04.039
after this thing had like vacated the area and we

453
00:25:04.039 --> 00:25:06.039
couldn't hear a walk and they more moving through the

454
00:25:06.079 --> 00:25:09.359
water or anything. It was almost like we really didn't

455
00:25:09.400 --> 00:25:12.640
see exactly what it was, but we all knew what

456
00:25:12.720 --> 00:25:17.400
it was, if that makes sense, because like one guy

457
00:25:17.599 --> 00:25:19.839
was fifty some years old and he'd never been in

458
00:25:19.880 --> 00:25:23.039
the woods where everything shut up like that in his

459
00:25:23.240 --> 00:25:25.839
entire life, and it like really freaked this.

460
00:25:25.759 --> 00:25:28.880
Guy out, and we all like, you know.

461
00:25:29.240 --> 00:25:31.240
And he'll tell you to this day he won't go

462
00:25:31.319 --> 00:25:34.920
back out there unless he's armed, because we've tried to

463
00:25:34.920 --> 00:25:38.039
get him to go back out there before. And so

464
00:25:38.160 --> 00:25:40.200
but it was just like I say, a few miles

465
00:25:40.240 --> 00:25:44.160
through the woods, if you walked straight through the woods

466
00:25:44.200 --> 00:25:46.799
like as the bird would fly, you know you're gonna

467
00:25:46.839 --> 00:25:50.359
come out right there in that field where our house was.

468
00:25:50.920 --> 00:25:53.960
Now it's gonna be probably several miles, but it's gonna

469
00:25:54.000 --> 00:25:58.720
you're gonna come out right there. And that's pretty interesting.

470
00:25:59.799 --> 00:26:02.559
But I told them all, I was like, you know, see,

471
00:26:02.599 --> 00:26:04.839
I told you, you know, and then they believed me

472
00:26:04.880 --> 00:26:08.559
after that, you know, because it really freaked them all out.

473
00:26:10.960 --> 00:26:17.480
Yeah, absolutely, growing up in that area. Would you hear

474
00:26:17.640 --> 00:26:21.000
any other stories about weird things that would happen in

475
00:26:21.039 --> 00:26:24.200
that same county as well? Was it just Bigfoot there

476
00:26:24.279 --> 00:26:26.960
or were there other things you would have to keep

477
00:26:27.000 --> 00:26:27.720
an eye out for.

478
00:26:27.680 --> 00:26:29.799
As well well?

479
00:26:29.920 --> 00:26:33.400
And I never really heard just a few Bigfoot stories

480
00:26:33.400 --> 00:26:37.160
and everything, and growing up there, a lot of the

481
00:26:37.200 --> 00:26:40.920
stuff you ever heard was you know, obviously about the

482
00:26:40.960 --> 00:26:41.640
stuff in Points.

483
00:26:41.839 --> 00:26:44.920
Wasn't like Mothman and you know, and all.

484
00:26:44.880 --> 00:26:47.200
That stuff, because we were only twelve miles from it,

485
00:26:49.599 --> 00:26:53.559
in the little town that I grew up in. So

486
00:26:53.680 --> 00:26:56.160
we were in the woods one time. This is really

487
00:26:56.200 --> 00:26:59.079
not related to the big food, but me and my

488
00:26:59.160 --> 00:27:01.359
cousin was in the lives one time. And this was

489
00:27:01.480 --> 00:27:05.839
probably three years after I've seen that, had my first sighting,

490
00:27:06.480 --> 00:27:10.640
and we'd moved into this apartment complex and we were

491
00:27:10.680 --> 00:27:13.279
just out in the woods. We were kids and curious,

492
00:27:13.640 --> 00:27:16.720
so we went out into the woods and we ran

493
00:27:17.519 --> 00:27:21.079
to this guy that was walking through the woods and

494
00:27:21.119 --> 00:27:24.400
he had like a wherewith mask on, like a full

495
00:27:24.440 --> 00:27:27.440
headed so you pull down over your head, and he

496
00:27:27.519 --> 00:27:30.079
had a like a big knife with him and a

497
00:27:30.119 --> 00:27:34.440
black trash bag and we didn't. It freaked us out,

498
00:27:34.559 --> 00:27:38.240
so we just laid down behind some logs and my

499
00:27:38.359 --> 00:27:40.839
cousin was older than me, and she told me to

500
00:27:40.880 --> 00:27:43.559
be quiet, and we just laid down and watched this

501
00:27:43.720 --> 00:27:47.839
guy and he walked up to a tree, set the

502
00:27:47.839 --> 00:27:52.839
black trash bag down and walks off and we wait, like,

503
00:27:53.799 --> 00:27:56.119
I don't know, fifteen to twenty minutes to let him

504
00:27:56.119 --> 00:27:59.640
get gone. And we were just shaken, scared to death,

505
00:28:00.079 --> 00:28:01.519
you know, because we're young kids.

506
00:28:01.839 --> 00:28:04.039
We was, I don't know younger.

507
00:28:04.279 --> 00:28:08.279
I was younger than ten, and she was probably twelve

508
00:28:08.359 --> 00:28:11.359
or thirteen probably, I would say at that time.

509
00:28:11.960 --> 00:28:15.319
And so we let the guy leave and we go up.

510
00:28:15.839 --> 00:28:16.759
She wanted to leave.

511
00:28:16.960 --> 00:28:19.599
I wanted to look in the bag, you know what

512
00:28:19.640 --> 00:28:22.640
I mean. So I go over there and open up

513
00:28:22.640 --> 00:28:26.279
the bag and it was just like animal parts.

514
00:28:26.440 --> 00:28:29.440
In this bag, you know what I mean. So that

515
00:28:29.599 --> 00:28:30.720
was pretty crazy. Too.

516
00:28:30.759 --> 00:28:34.599
That's another experience I had in that, you know, in

517
00:28:34.640 --> 00:28:35.799
that county, in the woods.

518
00:28:36.240 --> 00:28:38.920
So I just want to make sure so as you

519
00:28:39.000 --> 00:28:41.119
saw a dude with a.

520
00:28:41.519 --> 00:28:46.480
Yeah it was the mask on, yeah, broad daylight.

521
00:28:47.519 --> 00:28:51.319
And knife in a bag full of animal parts.

522
00:28:52.240 --> 00:28:57.200
Yeah yeah, like yeah, Like, we were just walking through

523
00:28:57.200 --> 00:29:01.559
the woods and we seen from a distance, like a

524
00:29:01.599 --> 00:29:05.759
good distance coming and it scared us because you obviously,

525
00:29:05.839 --> 00:29:09.200
the guy had on like a crazy looking mask. And

526
00:29:09.680 --> 00:29:12.000
my cousin made me duck down and we got down

527
00:29:12.039 --> 00:29:15.079
behind some down trees that luckily they was something to

528
00:29:15.119 --> 00:29:19.799
get behind right there, clothes and the guy just strolled

529
00:29:19.839 --> 00:29:23.000
up through the woods had a knife in his hand.

530
00:29:23.640 --> 00:29:25.720
I don't I was it's been a long time ago.

531
00:29:25.920 --> 00:29:30.200
That was thirty some years ago. Now I don't remember

532
00:29:30.200 --> 00:29:32.000
if it was a machete or what. But he had

533
00:29:32.000 --> 00:29:34.920
a big knife in his hand, and you know, he

534
00:29:35.079 --> 00:29:37.400
just walked up to his tree, set his bag down,

535
00:29:37.440 --> 00:29:42.000
and kept on walking. And it wasn't even a big

536
00:29:42.039 --> 00:29:46.319
wooded area like this was behind like a residential area,

537
00:29:47.240 --> 00:29:50.079
like on the edge of town. The apartment complex was

538
00:29:50.119 --> 00:29:53.160
on the edge of the town, and then it went

539
00:29:53.160 --> 00:29:57.559
into some woods and there was a few houses scattered

540
00:29:57.599 --> 00:30:02.160
around around probably, I don't know, it might have been

541
00:30:02.200 --> 00:30:09.359
like one hundred acres of woods there, probably, And that

542
00:30:09.480 --> 00:30:11.599
was a pretty crazy experience. That was like the only

543
00:30:11.640 --> 00:30:15.279
other thing I've had besides you know, obviously did foot stuff.

544
00:30:16.440 --> 00:30:19.160
But it was pretty evident that it was definitely a

545
00:30:19.200 --> 00:30:23.759
mask he was wearing and not like a.

546
00:30:22.960 --> 00:30:25.039
Yeah, because he had on right.

547
00:30:25.119 --> 00:30:27.680
Yeah, he had on like a you know, like a

548
00:30:27.799 --> 00:30:31.440
jacket or some clothes, right, and pants and boots, you

549
00:30:31.519 --> 00:30:32.160
know what I mean.

550
00:30:34.319 --> 00:30:35.960
What time of year was it? Again?

551
00:30:38.960 --> 00:30:42.480
It was probably late summer.

552
00:30:43.519 --> 00:30:46.039
I know it wasn't winter, and I know it wasn't

553
00:30:46.119 --> 00:30:48.400
like all the way in the fall yet because everything

554
00:30:48.519 --> 00:30:52.000
was still kind of green, So it's probably late summer.

555
00:30:54.599 --> 00:30:54.920
Man.

556
00:30:55.079 --> 00:30:59.240
That's that would freak me out. I mean, I don't

557
00:30:59.279 --> 00:31:03.160
know how i'd hand that as a as a little kid,

558
00:31:03.319 --> 00:31:07.839
especially it's holding a knife.

559
00:31:07.720 --> 00:31:08.400
Yeah.

560
00:31:08.480 --> 00:31:11.839
I never I never went back into into those, you know,

561
00:31:11.880 --> 00:31:15.480
because the woods was like right behind the apartment complex,

562
00:31:15.559 --> 00:31:18.079
probably in fifty yards. It went it was like a

563
00:31:18.279 --> 00:31:21.759
grassy hill went down, there was a little house behind

564
00:31:21.799 --> 00:31:24.599
the apartments, and then it was basically just went into

565
00:31:24.680 --> 00:31:28.599
all like probably one hundred couple of hundred acres of woods,

566
00:31:28.720 --> 00:31:34.319
was you know, scattered houses way over there somewhere, And yeah,

567
00:31:34.319 --> 00:31:35.359
that was pretty weird. Man.

568
00:31:36.680 --> 00:31:37.559
It freaked me out.

569
00:31:37.599 --> 00:31:42.359
And she was even more scared than me, like he

570
00:31:42.480 --> 00:31:47.160
after he left, I wasn't as freaking out as bad

571
00:31:47.680 --> 00:31:51.400
and more curious, you know what I mean, like because

572
00:31:51.480 --> 00:31:53.880
I mean, why would he be carrying a trash bag

573
00:31:53.920 --> 00:31:56.000
in the middle of the woods and why was he

574
00:31:56.039 --> 00:31:56.920
doing what he was doing?

575
00:31:56.960 --> 00:31:59.240
I don't, you know, I don't know. But and this was,

576
00:31:59.279 --> 00:31:59.559
like I.

577
00:31:59.480 --> 00:32:04.200
Said, was a broad daylight. This is probably three o'clock

578
00:32:04.240 --> 00:32:04.960
in the afternoon.

579
00:32:06.279 --> 00:32:08.640
That's weird. That's That's one of the weird things I've

580
00:32:08.640 --> 00:32:12.680
heard on the show. Would you if you had the

581
00:32:15.920 --> 00:32:21.480
you can make the decision whether to see one or

582
00:32:21.720 --> 00:32:27.079
experience being around one again, would you would you decide

583
00:32:27.119 --> 00:32:28.920
to do so? Or is that something you would not

584
00:32:29.039 --> 00:32:30.359
want to be involved with?

585
00:32:30.960 --> 00:32:32.000
No, I'm curious.

586
00:32:32.160 --> 00:32:35.359
I mean I've been out hunting in the woods a

587
00:32:35.359 --> 00:32:41.079
lot since childhood when I've seen that, and since I

588
00:32:41.119 --> 00:32:45.920
had the second encounter two, and you know, like it

589
00:32:45.960 --> 00:32:50.240
wouldn't I'm not, you know, I would definitely you know,

590
00:32:50.400 --> 00:32:54.400
go back out and you know, look for something or

591
00:32:54.720 --> 00:32:57.519
you know it doesn't. It doesn't freak me out enough,

592
00:32:58.200 --> 00:33:01.759
not those in what I've encounter I've had. It's not

593
00:33:01.839 --> 00:33:03.920
scary enough for me to be like, I'm not going

594
00:33:04.000 --> 00:33:08.160
back out there, not doing this, you know. But I

595
00:33:08.240 --> 00:33:11.119
mean if they was, I would go out and do

596
00:33:11.240 --> 00:33:14.880
research or anything like that. It wouldn't scary enough for

597
00:33:14.920 --> 00:33:17.160
me to stay out of the woods, you know what

598
00:33:17.240 --> 00:33:17.519
I mean.

599
00:33:17.759 --> 00:33:23.599
Sure, I'm sure that you've thought about these encounters you

600
00:33:23.680 --> 00:33:26.640
were involved with more than a few times. And what

601
00:33:26.759 --> 00:33:29.480
do you think it is that you know, we're dealing

602
00:33:29.720 --> 00:33:33.960
with when we talk about a creature like bigfoot being out.

603
00:33:33.839 --> 00:33:39.759
There, Well, I really I don't know.

604
00:33:40.079 --> 00:33:42.079
I have thought about it a lot over the years,

605
00:33:42.079 --> 00:33:46.400
and it really interests me. I watched podcasts and shows

606
00:33:46.440 --> 00:33:49.079
all the time about it. And I have a buddy

607
00:33:49.119 --> 00:33:52.519
that lives in California and he thinks he's seen one

608
00:33:52.160 --> 00:33:54.880
one one time in his yard when he was younger.

609
00:33:55.359 --> 00:33:59.039
He don't talk about it much, though, But I'm not

610
00:33:59.240 --> 00:34:03.400
sure I've thought of, you know, like the same things

611
00:34:03.440 --> 00:34:05.880
a lot of people thought about, like if it's some

612
00:34:05.960 --> 00:34:09.760
kind of primate that we haven't discovered. But it is

613
00:34:09.840 --> 00:34:13.360
kind of really odd though, that we don't have we've

614
00:34:13.400 --> 00:34:16.280
never found no bodies, you know, things of that nature.

615
00:34:17.440 --> 00:34:23.880
So I really, I really don't know if it's you know,

616
00:34:23.920 --> 00:34:26.400
it's hard to say for sure what exactly it is.

617
00:34:26.800 --> 00:34:29.880
But I've heard all kinds of different theories on it myself,

618
00:34:30.000 --> 00:34:34.480
like and from anything from aliens to they come from

619
00:34:34.480 --> 00:34:37.920
the inner Earth, you know what I mean. Like, I've

620
00:34:37.960 --> 00:34:41.280
heard all kinds of stories so and well theories actually

621
00:34:41.320 --> 00:34:44.400
on it. But I mean there's too many sightings, too

622
00:34:44.440 --> 00:34:48.239
many people've seen stuff. So you know, I definitely think

623
00:34:48.320 --> 00:34:50.519
that there's something out there. There's just more to be

624
00:34:50.599 --> 00:34:54.599
discovered on it. Hopefully in the future. With technology and

625
00:34:54.639 --> 00:34:58.440
everything now, maybe hopefully we can eventually get something figured

626
00:34:58.480 --> 00:34:59.000
out about it.

627
00:34:59.440 --> 00:35:02.960
Absolutely, you know, I personally think it's it's one of

628
00:35:02.960 --> 00:35:06.440
the last great mysteries. And you know, as you said,

629
00:35:06.679 --> 00:35:11.719
there's just so many, so many reports out there, people

630
00:35:12.559 --> 00:35:17.000
constantly coming forward every single day. I think that with

631
00:35:17.119 --> 00:35:20.440
so many reports out there, there's just two to too

632
00:35:20.519 --> 00:35:26.079
many people coming forward, and I think hopefully maybe even soon,

633
00:35:26.199 --> 00:35:29.239
maybe even you know, later this year. There's going to

634
00:35:29.280 --> 00:35:32.039
be a lot of things coming out this year we

635
00:35:32.119 --> 00:35:36.079
know from other topics, and maybe this is the year

636
00:35:36.199 --> 00:35:39.119
for Bigfoot to come out before the end of the year.

637
00:35:39.159 --> 00:35:42.199
But you know, we'll see you know, fingers crossed. Just

638
00:35:42.320 --> 00:35:46.440
keep talking to people. But Jeff, it has been a

639
00:35:46.480 --> 00:35:48.840

encounters from Oakridge, Oregon or the surrounding area. Number four,

660
00:36:58.239 --> 00:37:01.199
any individuals that know about bigfoot being flown off after

661
00:37:01.239 --> 00:37:04.800
the Mount Saint Helens eruption. Number five. Individuals that have
