Boogerville: The Sasquatch Hotspot in Dale’s Backyard

It comes from a country singer who traded Nashville stages for the shadows of rural Alabama and found something watching him back. It started with a plywood silhouette and then came the polar bear in the tree line. But what Dale saw one morning while chasing a fox, a gliding figure, silent and smooth, left him dizzy, disoriented, and changed. This is in second hand. This is a firsthand story of a man who captured what might be one of the clearest faces of a juvenile sasquatch and stood just feet from something else in the dark. This is the story of Dale Boswell and the Bigfoot in Boogerville. So stay with us, all right, Bigfoot Society. I've got the privilege of talking to Dale today. Dale is a singer, songwriter, graphic designer, and a bigfoot researcher from the great state of Alabama.

0:56 Welcome to the show, Dale, how's it going today. Hello, Jeremiah, It's going pretty good. The weather's nice and I've just been lazy all day, just hanging around, but it's honor to be here with you today. How are you doing, my friend. I'm doing well. We're starting to get better weather up here in Iowa. But you know, Dale, you're one of these guys I've I've heard a little bit about here and there, and sounds like you've got some really interesting accounts that will go over in a bit. But you know, first i'd love to hear was it the singer songwriter that came first or was it the bigfoot side that camp first?

Well, actually I've been singing and performing well pretty much all in my life since I was about twelve years old and pick up the guitar, get as far as professionally since about nineteen eighty five. It's when I started performing professionally and you know, formed the band and uh it really got into some some really prestigious events, you know. Uh, I had a lot of fun, met a lot of people. I've been fortunate enough to play some of the biggest stages uh in Nashville. Uh, right on, up, I had. I never made the Grand Old Lobbry, of course, that's that is all our US country singers goes. But but I did. Uh, I did play several other places that are well known in Nashville, you know, for instance, like like Tutsi's Orchid Lounge in the nash Nashville Palace and the Ernest Tubman Midnight Jamboree. Things like that. I recorded several songs that, uh. The the easiest way to get to them, I will say, just google my name, Dale Boswell and a lot of my my recorded music will come up. And some of the stuff you may have heard on the radio, because I did get quite a bit of radio airplay here and there. Uh. But anyway to ask you a question, this was I did this to about twenty eleven, and uh, I've been having lots of problems with my neck, uh my, and come

3:09 to find out I had degenerative dis disease, and so I was dealing with that, and twenty eleven I had to have surgery on my neck. And uh, you know you got seven vertebra in your neck. Well, I had five of mine hues together with a titanium plate and ten screws. So my head don't move too much, you know, not like it used to. But it took away the pain. And the biggest thing is the titanium plate put some constriction on my vocal cords. And I never been the best singer in the world anyway, you know, but I was fortunate enough to be around the best and around a lot of good people. So I got to do a lot of cool things. But and it wouldn't be called like sound no really, no exceptional talent. I enjoyed doing and made uh you know, made a little bit of a career out of But anyway, this titanium plate put a uh constriction on my vocal cords, so I lost a lot of my range, you know what high notes I could hit or even low notes, and I was down to just based a whisper there for a while.

4:21 And so I had to, uh to put my music career on hold. And and actually I had just signed, I mean like a month before, I had signed a major management contract out of Branson, Missouri. And that's when Branson was really going strong, you know, as far as a country music entertainment area. Uh. But then then the surgery come up and just kind of kno, you know, put an end to all that. But uh, anyways, uh, music had been my life, you know, for just well just my whole life. So I couldn't do that anymore. And and now big Putt. You know, I kind of enjoyed that a little bit when I was younger, you know, when I occasionally see stuff or read books. I Enjoorgian books about about cryptis and things like that. But I was never really a big, big band, I guess would say until this surgery. So I was laying laying around in the bed, you know, I couldn't do much. You know, it was kind of really depressed, you know, because I just couldn't play music anymore. Put the guitar up. And one day I was watching you know, I was watching YouTube, so I just put in the search engine Bigfoot and I'm like, oh my goodness, and there was so much stuff came up, and I just got deeper and deeper into it, and it really started, you know, really researching everything I could, you know, on the subject, and I

5:53 got obsessed with it. You it would do that to you. And it was about twenty fourteen when I really got into the deep research. But anyway, that's what kind of got me into it was a I guess, a titanium plate in my neck bone. Oh that is fascinating. I mean, it's always super interesting to hear what it is that gets people, and sometimes it's it's a physical change like that. But it sounds like there was also another event that happened that really got you into you kind of alluded to there there's something that happened in twenty fourteen. There, Yeah, absolutely in twenty fourteen. I remember it was July twenty fourteen, matter of fact, and at that time like sad researching, but I was taking like everybody is, you know, big puts not around my neighborhood there, and if they're going to be in it, they're gonna be way out there. I'm gonna have to ride down some big dirt road somewhere, you know, you know how you get into it. But anyway, one morning, well, actually, let me take you back to the A few days before, I had just built and and being a being a graphics designer and illustrator was was was my real job, through and through my life, uh and and I and I was honored to work for some really major companies and do some really cool stuff and in the in the world of design and marketing and advertising. Anyway, it's another story. Anyway, I had just uh I took a

7:25 a four by eight foot sheet apply wood and being an artist. I scaled up a front a front of you of of of of a of a big put or what most people described them to look like, you know, and and and they usually says about four feet white and about eight feet tall, so it would work out just perfect. So so so I took this this plywood and and I drew a silhouette of a big foot on it. Then then I cut it out and I painted it black, of course. And uh so I just painted one side and and and that night, you know, I I leaned it up against my car port so the paint was dry, and there was facing the tree line by my house. I lived kind of way out in the country and stuff, and my house is surrounded by woods, but it is facing the front side tree line of my house in my front yard. Well, the next morning, my daughter had a doctor's appointment. So as we were pulling out of the driveway, I stopped and she said, oh, let me ask you something. I said, what is it? She said, do we have polar bears in Alabama? I'm like, you said, polar bear? She said yeah.

8:39 I said, oh no, no, And I stopped right there and I said, what do you mean. Well, she told me that that night she had She then went out to the front porch to smoke cigarette and she said, I looked over it, and she said, it looked like there was a big old polar bear was standing right over there. You know. It wasn't forty from my front door, in the tree line, she said, and it was looking at that thing you built. I said, what and the way and and and what what called me? Is a is a? She she didn't know nothing really about big put could care less about big puts, you know, and maybe she might have heard me talk a little bit, but she didn't care nothing about it, you know, just doing her young girl thing.

9:24 Uh. But what she described what she saw was was was, in my opinion, absolutely a big put. And uh. And actually there's a there's a video you can look up that is on my video channel where I interviewed her and let her tell what she saw. And I think it's called white Big put in Alabama, White Big Put Sight in Alabama. But you can, like, say, you can google Dale Boswell and you can go to my YouTube site and see all of my my evidence type videos and things I've taken. Anyway, after she saw that and she did described it that's white. And and and could actually point to it, you know, to a limb, she said in its head was about right there, and it was right it eight feet tall, but she said it it was a she said it was. It was white, but she said she she said the legs she said where she said, you know how like like a labrador tree or something. And and that's kind of way she described its hair. She said, it was real pretty. You know, it's kind of blowing hair. You know, it wouldn't shave up bit. But uh uh, she said, like the she said the legs, like from the knees down were kind of orange looking. She said, you know, like a dog kind of gets in the mud. And its hair, you know, that's white, but it kind of orange. And she said, described it like that. I'm talking that's weird. Uh, but it makes sense. But then she said, but the way it moved, and she done her hand in a glide in motion. She said, it was like and it was gone,

10:55 She said, just that quick, didn't make a sound, didn't move, did anything. Uh. And and back then you didn't talk about even though a lot of us knew it and would see things, you didn't talk about these things gliding or and everybody, even even Jeff Meldrum. Now I'll tell you about the sighting that he saw was a big old shadow and he said it was gliding, was the word he used. And actually the one I'll tell you about the minute that I saw was doing the same thing. Looked like it was gliding through the wars, like you know, it was gliding on a little winged feet or something. But anyway, when she described this in twenty fourteen, I knew she had seen something. So we didn't talk about that kind of stuff, you know, because they were considered woo, you know back then. So that really got me interested in my area. I'm like, oh my god, you know, I couldn't wait to get home. Then I tell to my wife about it. So we walked out in the woods behind myself and immediately started seeing tree structures the ones I've been seeing on TV, you know, the exis, the bends, uh, and brakes and things and just stuff that just didn't look look right, didn't look normal. But I had never thought to even look around at my in my woods. As much as I love my woods, you know, I just figured they were everywhere else. So basically, every every bit of evidence that I collected on video and on podo or in photos has been right here

12:25 basically in my backyard. And I feel so fortunate, you know, because a lot of people, you know, go everywhere looking for these these boogers and uh and you know, and and here they are seems to be, you know, right where I live. And I was the same way I I think it was in twenty seventeen. I went to New Mexico uh to uh to uh in the bent that Brenda Harris was was having at her home a little conference thing, and I was entertaining and traveling with some folks like Mark Newbull and uh oh shoot uh we had o'pilopat book and my daughter went with us.

13:05 But anyway, I was the same way, you know here here I went to New Baxico and we ended up on a mountain somewhere that was kind of another story. It's kind of cool and with a shawman and he took us way up on this mountain. Wow. And it was a that was a fascinating experience. But I have to tell you about that sometime. But uh, anyways, that's what got me looking in my own area. So I call I call my area booger Bille, And that's actually what I call my my private page, My big foot page is called booger Bille. If y'all want to look me up and come see some of the stuff that I kind of keep and show as far as uh, stuff that I believe is is the real deal. And of course the stuff but I know that I know one hundred percent is real because you know, I took it with my camera and in my yard, with my video my SD call, with my fingers hitting the record button.

14:02 You know. Uh, but uh, that's uh, you know, when it comes to proof and all, you know how it is, we can't prove nothing, you know, from believing that. You know, all we can do is a it's kind of show we got and you know that you make up your own mind. And and I usually tell people that kind of you know, look at me a little weird and stuff and talk about it. Uh, but but are interested? I used to tell out Now, Now let me tell you that I said, if you ever see one of these buggers but you're on eye, you know who you're going to be. You're going to be me trying to prove to somebody else at what you saw. I said, so you don't just don't take don't you know, I don't take it too hard, but it can happen, and uh, you know, so so be easy on folks, on on believers and nods if you're a researcher, because you may see that's that same thing yourself.

14:54 No, I agree, you know, there's usually people will say there's two sides of the community, and yeah, I think either side needs to both sides need to. So maybe learn a little bit more compassion. So you you got into things really quick. I mean that sighting of the polar bear in quotation marks on your property really kick things off. Did you ever have any any sighting yourself similar on your property as well? I did, and it happened. I actually I had a lot of stuff happen for some reason, and that I don't know if I was just looking hard or not.

15:41 But the year twenty eighteen, which is a big year, seemed like everything I happened to capturing stuff back then. And I just never you know, I was never wanted to take anything I found and throw it out to the public and put it on every channel on whatever. I've always kind of kept stuff to myself. Help you up until the last couple of years, but in twenty eighteen. I actually believe it was May of twenty eighteen. Uh, I remember when it was about about nine thirty in the morning. It's real nice morning, and I had a cup of coffee. So I was I was sitting in my in my kitchen looking out in the backyard, and I saw a beautiful red fox was was kind of like in a little pill just just back there, you know, on a little further past my past my backyard, or just in the in the clearing area. Anyway, Like, I just had woke up and I had a cup of coffee, and I thought, look at that pretty fox. So I grabbed my camera, you know, I thought I was going to put a little national geographic and I thought I'd just walk out there and see and you see if I can get him on PIM. So I was easing out my back the back door, and uh And normally, you know, I'm a I'm a firm believer you don't need to sneak into the woods, especially if you're researching these buggers, because they know you're there, you know, so you ain't gonna you ain't gonna sneak up on them.

17:12 Too often, but it does happen every you know, they make mistakes once in a while, and you know they kind of turn and look at you and be as surprised as you are seeing them. So it does happen. But I just I just kind of do my thing, and I want to know I'm there if I'm out there. So but this particular morning, I was following this fox, so I was gonna be sneaky so I wouldn't disturb it. So I was sneaking as good as this old country board could sneak, you know, through the woods, uh, trying to follow this fox. And he got to a fence that was a boundary point of my property in my neighbors, and he went to the fence and there's there's a little dirt road that kind of goes up the side of the fence. So he took off, as on face defense to the right down that road, and I'm like, well, you know, he's gone. But it was such a nice morning, So I remember putting my phone back in my pocket right there, and you know, I sticked back in my packet and I remember crossing my arms and looking out towards the woods and this this little road that he went on kind of circles around a little bit, and you could see it a little bit through the woods.

18:21 And this morning, the sun was shining down onto this trail. I mean, it looks like something out of a movie. You know, you could just this The sun was lighting up this trail, and I thought that's prettyb And suddenly I guess I the corner of my eye from the left, I seen something move and it come out fast from my left, going towards my right, and it was going right right down that sun let the trail, and I watched it for well. I tell people, if you take your eyes and you move them to the left as far as you can, and move them to the right as slow as you can. You know, I don't know how many sex that is, but that's about how long I watched this thing. And it was it was definitely biped them and uh and it wasn't huge, you know, it looked like maybe at least you know, my size, around six foot uh so. Uh, but it is kind of odd looking. It kind of looked like I had real short legs and and uh uh now, and I was looking directly out of at its profile. All I seen was a side profile, and like I said, it was a little bit off in the distance, you know, wasn't that far off, but as far enough, like it said, pretty good. And uh, but it was solid black and it and it was running or or like say, it

19:52 was gliding, but it looked like it was leaning at maybe a fifteen degree angle, kind of like a skier with ski, you know. And but its head was tilted back, funny looking, and it looked like it had a huge, huge amount of hair or something on top of his head. I don't know what if maybe his head or for blowing or what. But but it was heading towards that pops. So in my mind, this thing probably wasn't paying me that much attention to start with. And with being that I was trying to be sneaky, maybe he was paying more attention than that fox. And and and he took off after it. It's what I'm thinking happened. But anyway, it was, like I say, it was gliding through the woods.

20:41 And how I say gliding, it was it was moving so smoothly, I mean it And and I used to tell folks that remind me of this. If you ever watched one of these movies which shows you kind of be behind the scenes how the mo movie was made and so forth. Whether take a camera and they'll put it on a track of some sort where they'll move smoothly across the ground or the woods or whatever. You just swore that there was a track back there and this thing was on it. That's how smooth it was moving. And it was moving so fast. But this is the weirdest part of it is it didn't really scare me, and I was kind of I thought it was kind of cool, you know, even though I was a little bit surprised you. Of course, because I did. I watched long enough I could look up and see. Uh. I checked the clouds. I thought, maybe it's shadow, or maybe it's a shadow of a bird or an airplane. I looked, you know, for all that, and there was nothing of this was this was all I saw. And uh uh and you and you could you know, your shadow when you see it come going through the woods, it kind of flops around the trees, and then this stuff, you know, we won't move smoothly, but this is one of This thing was moving smoothly. It was definitely not a shadow, so I ruled that out. But anyway, like I said, it didn't ski hear me, and I thought it was really cool. And I was more like, you know, trying to surprise, not surprisedly, like what did I just see?

22:07 But suddenly and I'm in it. Instantly, all of the blood went went to my head. It seemed like all of a sudden, I started getting like like confused and dizzy. And I was in sight of my house. You know, I could see my house from where I was at. It wasn't that far. But I felt like I was going to pass out. And I didn't have no no idea of why, you know, because I had been feeling fine and stuff, and I've actually never felt like that. I mean just I felt like my head was going to explode, like just all the blood went to my face or to my head, and I literally, you know, all my career, even through my music career, and uh, if you go to my Facebook page, you can see a lot of music stuff and a lot of lots of people I've had had had the fortune of broad and shoulders with in the business. But anyways, I've always documented everything. So all I could think of right there, while I felt like I was going to pass out was get my camera out and document myself or whatever, just in case something happened. Some people can say, well, you know, here's what happened. Lon know, but you know here it is. And I member being so confused. I couldn't figure my camera out. I was trying to get it the app turned on and figure out which way to face it towards me. And I mean, like, I've never used a camera before, but I but I actually did film it and I have sent it to you

23:41 me and and maybe I was what they cause app you know, you hear about that where uh you know that these animals or these critters could possibly do that, you know, kind of like lines and elephants and things. And I've read up a little bit on it, but not that much until this. And so I started researching a little bit, and I thought, well, maybe that's what happened to me, because I have no other explanation. Uh. But there I was in the woods, like I say, it couldn't have felt like I'm about to fall out, and I could see my house and it felt like it was a thousand miles away, you know. So so I started back towards the house and on the way, I called a friend of mine, and he's he's he's uh he's passed away, uh since then, but his he was really uh a pretty big, not big. He's well known the Big Cook community. And his name was Jim Hart.

24:35 He went by Bubba Gump and he is real close friends with my buddy Coonboa Baker and stuff. But I I called Jim and he kind of talked me through the woods as far as knowing all right, you know, just just keep focused, and you know, and and and I was rambling, and you know, I don't know what I was saying, but I got to my house and and and my wife is a is a retired nurse, uh and all in so, uh when I walked into the house, she thought I was having a heart attack or something. Uh. And so she set me down on the couch, and and and and what law and I kind of you know felt okay, you know, she you know, determined that you know, I wasn't having a heart attack or anything. But it's just probably this anxiety attack of some sort. Uh. But uh, now, now if there's any proof to this, I guess the only way I can actually say something happening is that afternoon I literally had a doctor's appointment set up just right up from my house actually, where my doctor is. So I went to my doctor the afternoon and uh, and you know how they take your temperature and check your blood pressure and all this stuff to start with. Well, she took my blood pressure to start with. Then she sat there and look for came in. Then she took it again and just kind of looking weird, you know. Finally she said, mister boswell, do you feel okay? I said, well, yeah,

26:08 I felt pretty good. You know, I'm all right. And she said, well, she said, your blood pressure has never been this high. You know, I thought to myself, well, you know, I ain't never seen a bugger before. Mada had something to do with it, but you know, I thought I had. I thought I was being okay and in calm, you know, I was probably still excited and stuff and still running through my head and all. But but uh, anyway, it's kind of documented that, you know, something did happen to me that day, and it is on my medical record. I hope she didn't put down patients seized big put you know that might go over You're good in my medical files. Wow. Anyway, that that was the only sighting that I ever had with my eyes that I saw. Uh, most stuff that I've caught that is really compelling is by accident. Like most time for those and things that you videos that you don't really see anything till you get home and analyze your photos and videos and like, oh my god, look at that and look at that. You know, but that and that that happens so much, you know, So it's uh so I tell people, you know, just just if you if you feel, if you feel there's enough reason to take a photo or video, make sure you look at it when you get home, because you know, whatever you felt that made you inclined to take that photo, there may be something there there to see you And I have I have quite a few things that that that people can see and look up on my on my sits, my social media stuff that like I said, I don't

27:40 I don't post and push out to everybody has a has a big foot platform or some this kind of stuff I keep to myself enjoy showing to other researchers and things. So, but yeah, that was. That that sighting is I mean that that's really that's a really unique one. In the fact, so from what I heard, you were able to look up at the clouds to see if there was a shadow, and then you were able to look back and it was still there, right. Right, yeah, yeah, I mean I I quickly looked up for planes and shadows. I mean I mean maybe not right at that insert as it went by, but you know, if it was a plane or bird or something, you could still see them. Though my sight was three or four sex or whatever. So I'm like, you know, what was that? Then I'm looking up like, okay, was that a plane? Was it a shadow? And I'm looking and didn't see nothing as far as birds or anything. So uh, And it was just about that time after looking up and looking around is when, uh, when I when all of a sudden, I just got you know, confused and dizzy and stuff. So really it was really strange and nothing like that has happened to me since, thank goodness.

28:55 And I say it's unique because I mean ninety nine percent of the time you hear from witnesses as they look away for a second and then it's gone, like they look back, there's nothing, So that is as extremely unique to hear that. So after you had that sighting, then you know, how how are you are you viewing? Like, oh man, I've got something that's like a monkey in my back backwoods, or is it something that looks more like a human? Or actually I have some video that is and like you can look it up and then I'd be glad to show it to you and stuff. But in my opinion, it may be the the closest face shot of but you and I'll be putt ever recorded on video in motion.

29:50 And remember I told you, sometimes these things are there and you ain't gonna sneak up on them, and sometimes you surprise them. Well, this this particular incident, it was also in twenty eighteen, and it was one night about about twelve one o'clock in the morning, I guess it was. And again I was I was sitting there kicking way Ado, looking out towards the backwoods, and I heard the awfully screaming and hollering up in the woods. I mean, I don't know what it was, but just balling and screaming. And people have actually heard the video said they maybe thought it was a deer in distress or something like.

30:35 I'm not that familiar with the animal sound like that. But anyway, I heard this screaming and I was sitting there saw I immediately grabbed my camera. You always kept my camera here, and I had old Sony handycam, which was pretty good video cameras back then, you know, and even though it had a few years on it, but it's a nice video camera and I've usually a lot of time. So I had it right there and my flashlight handy. Now here's here's one thing back because I've been you know, I've been researching my woods, uh for a few years, you know, go out looking for eyes, shine, taking you know, flashlight and walk around, sit and you know the same, you know what you do. Well. For some reason, I told myself, you know, but next time I think I may hear or see something, I'm not gonna just go straight out with my flashlight because I got to think, you know, if I'm hiding out there in the woods and I'm over here and you shine your flashlight this way, I'm going that way, you know.

31:32 So I thought, I'm gonna just see what happened. So here's what happened. I walked again out in my back door. I had my camera running or on record as I walked out the back door, but my flashlight was off, so I kind of ease up to the edge of what I call what I call my booger hut. I got kind of like a gaze bol type thing and sitting out towards you edge of the woods that I'll get up on, you know, get up off the ground with my cameras and things and stuff. I call it my booger hut. Anyway, I got close to it, and then, like say, I had my camera running. Suddenly I hit my flashlight and I panned the whole opening area behind my house, you know, from right to left and back.

32:19 I just panned across it real fast. Uh, we'll not too fast, but you know, past not to see if I could see any kind of size, shine, eyeshine, or movement or anything. And of course I was looking with my my naked eyes more than I was looking in my camera, you know, for the so I was trying to keep it all together, my flashlight and my naked eyes and my camera in the right direction, you know, as I panned across and and and uh, I could still hear that screaming in the background, but I literally did not see anything. I didn't hear anything, uh, making any noise besides what few little leaves or whatever I stepped on. And and you can hear this in the video.

33:02 I been seeing anything. Now, this is what's crazy. This is why. That's why I tell I beg folks to look at your stuff, you know when you take it, because I didn't. And like said, I took this in twenty eighteen, and I remember a day or two late, I never looked at my I never looked at the camera because I didn't see anything my naked eyes. I figured there wouldn't nothing out there. But like normal, a day or two later, I come and uploaded my latest files onto my desktop PC, my desktop computer and I I had for years, and that's why I upload all my all my all my digital stuff, whether it's music or buggers or whatever. And but you know, I uploaded this this video and it was exactly fifty seven seconds long.

33:52 It's the full length of the video as far as one shot from when I payed from left to right. And I never looked at it again. This was twenty eighteen, and it wasn't until twenty twenty one, three years later, that I was looking at my computer. I decided to clean up some files and throw away some stuff, and you know, just taking up stairs I didn't need anymore. And I had my had my speakers on, which is a normal thing I normally don't do when I'm looking through my computer. I normally don't need speakers, you know, Uh, well I do, but sometimes corn I'm looking at it. Anyway, I had no speakers on, and I come up on this file where some nail was black, you know, and I I wonder, what is this. I clicked on it, and it was black because it was dark, you know, when I started feeling it. But anywhy I heard that hat screaming, I said, oh, I remember that. So I so I pulled it up you know, to the to to my big screen on my computer and was watching it.

34:54 And it literally, I mean literally tears come to my eyes when I saw what I had caught on camera and and and in the bottom right hand corner up the screen. Uh you see what looks and to me, what looks like a little well at first I thought it was a ghost of a monkey or something a monkey ghost, because it had the little face of a monkey, from a big old ear to a little bald head and big eyes and little little I mean not a monkey nose, a human type nose, and a kind of big mind, but it's very I mean, you can see it to me just as plain as they, you know. Uh.

35:35 But I saw this, I'm like, oh my god. So I started analyzing it, and being a graphics designer, I can't I've always been to get around on computer a little bit as far as analyzing things and and messing with you know, contrast and uh brightness and and and the different levels of things where you you pull out some detail and uh, you know, also with the audio and stuff like that. So I already looking at it, and and this thing is so fast. It was only seven second, seven frames. You know, there's like like average twenty nine frames per second when you're tap it. Seven frames was only what was what this thing was in And that shows you how fashion the move. And so of course I had to slow it down. And I looked at it frame by frame by frame, and and it is definitely a creature in there, and I'm pretty sure it was. The juvenile wasn't much bigger than I am, if maybe smaller, And this thing was literally and I know it sounds crazy, And like I said, I don't talk about nothing that I can't show you some kind of documentation to prove what what I'm seeing or what I saw. You know, they may not prove what was there.

36:49 Whatever boo can prove what I'm looking at. But you can see this thing. It was probably at least maybe no more than six or eight feet from me, and the way it come in the camera, you can see it was surprised. You see, it was kind of coming in front of me. All of a sudden it turns and looks straight at me in the camera and it's it's its eyebrows and eyes open wild, like, oh my god, what was that? And it turns and and and almost looked like it wobbles on off into the night. But the crazy thing is it was like almost and I say it looked like a ghost. It was. It was kind of it was real white looking, but a real you couldn't see through it, but it looked like you could almost see through it. But but but it was sharp enough, like say, well, you can see all the see all the detail in it in his face, you know, right down to his mouth. And I caught it from like from like the chin up you know it's chin.

37:48 I didn't catch a shem, but from the lips to the top of its head is what I've got on camera, But it wabbles off and it looks like it looked like a white fog, looks foggy, And upon analyzing the film, when I'm walking up there, you can see this fog kind of bouncing to the woods. And if you just glance how, you're thinking maybe just a nighttime miss or something, you know, But once you look at it, you say, that ain't no misk. It looked like a freaking ghost fog because it's moving deliberately, you know, and its actions. But it comes around to my camera and like, I see this in the year twenty twenty one, and I spent since then analyzing this, this fifty seven second fem and you wouldn't well, I keep saying this because it's so unbelievable. But in that film, there's least four other creatures, two of them way to the right towards end the pim or you see basically eye shine, but like, look like two creatures are sneaking in the woods or heading out towards the woods and kind of duck and hiding, but they're looking back towards me. But they were heading towards this noise. It was hot, was out in the woods.

39:08 It's screaming and bellowing. There's hitting that direction on the left side of him, right towards the end. And I don't talk about this whole lot because it's it's as hard as I've tried to pull out the detail. I pulled out enough where you could probably see what I'm seeing basically, But I'm pretty sure it was a freaking dog man was there because this thing and like I said, it's my my my flashlight. If I done went just one inch over when I panned over to my left, I was probably caught some good stuff. But I panned so fast that I barely caught it on its on its face, and you could see the where the light hits its face, and it looks towards me again, looks surprised, and there's you can see it's it's arm. Where it's arm comes swings around in front of a tree that is a very definite tree that's in my audience. I mean, you can't it's distinguish it out from all the other trees.

40:13 It comes around in front of it, and you can count five fingernails are lit up by that flashlight. I mean, it looks like a big old human monkey hen with five shiny, shining fingernails coming around in front that that tree, and and where it came came across in front of that tree. I was able to go out there and actually measure, you know, you know, because you could see the limb the where the tree is politious exactly where it come across it. Where if I had been standing there, that's where I have where where I would have come across with my arm. But this thing, the arm me standing exactly where it was where it's arm come across. Would it hit me in the head and it would look like it's like waist level this critter where it was swinging around, uh to head towards the woods to what it looked like when my place like hit it looked like it was like old heck, and it was getting out of it. And again it was going towards that noise that I was here, And like said, I'll send you all this stuff, or you can come up on my page and I'll let you look at it and check it out and see what you think, you know, But I think that maybe what it was it was posture the dog man. And and a few years later we called and it's another story. A friend of mine he called on PIM that a creature that kind of looked like what I saw gliding to the woods, which could have been like this dog man critter what I don't know. And I called it a dog man because its side profile looks like a from what I can't probably put idea. I'm almost looked like a cartoon kyote.

41:47 I mean, it almost looks comical looking. But but it's wolfish looking, you know, nose and stuff, and you know, it's not not a heart detail. And that's why I don't talk about it a whole lot, because I can't show that much besides the fingers and arms coming across that is very clear. You can see it plain. You know. It's not five fireflies follow on each other through the woods, you know. But that's that's one of the things, and and the other. And now if you got any questions, don't just jump on end. Right. It's that's fascinating. Is that? Are those videos you have on your YouTube channel as well?

42:30 Yeah? Absolutely, I post everything I've taken. Yeah, it's it's on there as well. And you know, I've actually been begging people for years since I took this fem to take this fifty seven second pem I know, and analyze it like I did. Take it and look at it, break it down frame by frame if you're and I would love for a forensic scientist to get a hold of somebody and just look at it and you know, like you took it and see what I say, and I beg people do it. You know, it's not something I keep secret all now you know it's there. If you look at it, you'll see it. But anyways, any now, now it gets crazier now as I'm analyzing this film like I've been analyzing for years, and this wasn't too long ago when I was playing with it again and I was I was looking at the little juvenile part of the film where you come up look at me. Well, well, I was analyzed, and like I say, it was real dark outside that's the time. So while I was looking at this clip, I decided just to boost the brightness one hundred percent, you know, hoping it would maybe lighting up some of the darkness of the night. And what I saw and what you can see when I'll send it to you, I swear it looks like a freaking gorilla.

43:58 It's between is between me and trees that trees are. This thing is is probably within arms distance of me or maybe not much further. Uh, And these trees are probably like five or six eight feet in front of me. And this thing rises looks like it rises up and floats. I swear this gliding thing. It looks like it floats off to the left. But you can see its head, you see its shoulder, you see its bicycle, you see its word's arm is be on that bent at the elbow, and it like it rises up like it's floating away from me on on to the left. And like, I didn't see this until I increased the brightness, and it's there because it blocks off the trees in front of me.

44:48 You can see the shadow as plane as that blocking off the trees. So when I found this, it really freaked me out because I'm thinking, Okay, here I am literally standing within armed distance of two mythological creatures that that I have have on video, you know, a juvenile and I think this grill looking thing must have been one of the parents, you know, because they say they kind of traveling packs and their they're very uh protective of each other. So I'm just wondering, I say, just wondering if this was a mama or baby. And again it was hidden in the same direction as the rest of these creatures, towards whatever we're screaming in the woods.

45:40 But I'm just wondering. If I had seen that juvenile in front of me and reached out towards it, I bet I would have been a statistic by now, because I really believe that this big, old gorilla looking thing would have probably tore my head off. Oh yeah, what I believe, because because it was too close to this thing, and and and and like I said, I will send you ever been of this to just seeing we get off the phone, you know, being just just for you and just for your personal you know. And if if you'd like to share with folks, that's final me. You know, Oh so I could I could put that in in the YouTube version. You'd be okay with that?

46:21 Yeah? Absolutely, okay, Absolutely anything you'd like to add to or post with it, you see, fine on me. Uh but uh I do. And like I said, all this is in my backyard. Still, that's absolutely wild. I mean, you've got a lot a lot going on there. I do have a few questions for you just because you are a very unique individual where you're into big foot, but you also have the background that you have. One of one of the questions I have, and this is just I have a feeling. You mentioned that you are your friend of Kumbo's right, Yeah.

47:03 Yeah, okay, Kumbo's dear friend. So that being said, and also you have your background as a musician. Have you been involved with any work that was done in the past with the shofar horn? No, uh, And I talked to Koumbow a lot about it. Uh And he's talked to me about it. And as a matter of fact, you know, I always tell this story. I said, you know, Kumbo is is my mentor. And he he he's the He's the guy that I first heard on the radio where I said, you know, I could probably talk on the radio. Kombo can talk on the radio. I probably. But anyway, up until then, I never thought about doing kind of any kind of interviews or stuff. But I first heard of Kumbo and then got involved with him and and and he's my teacher.

47:55 I mean a lot of the advice I give the people as far as researching tools and what you do when you go into wood and stuff, it's stuff I've learned from him. But but yeah, that that instrument is it's crazy and I've talked to Koombo about it. But uh, I've never been around one that often. Well, I had, I did not long ago. I had somebody had one, but I didn't talk to him about it. But that's that's a fascinating subject there, you know, when you get talking about that, man, it's spooky. It's some weird stuff. Another thing I've noticed, and this is from all parts of the US, this is from It's been reported in Washington, Oklahoma, and North Georgia, is that some witnesses will hear what sounds like they're doing some sort of singing. Is that anything you've heard or do you have any thoughts about that at all.

48:56 I've never heard heard anything like that. Uh. You know, I've heard, you know, some howls and crazy stuff out in the woods, but I've never heard anything that sounded like singing. Uh. Although you know, I've always I've always heard that that that buggers are like like most anamals actually, you know, like music, you know. So so I don't never miss a chance if I'm out in the woods to pull out my guitar and sit there and sing a few songs and maybe sat on the log and if there's somebody with me, I tell them I said, now, now look like you're looking at me, but watch over my shoulder behind me, just in case you bugger might come up and say, who's that out there making all that record? You know? But uh, but I do believe music is is entwined well with big Puss and I'm sure they enjoy it like probably like we do. You know, it's got to get off a boarding out there in the woods, you know, listen to squirrels and whatever else all day long, so probably a little music probably sounds good once in a while.

49:59 And yeah, that was another thing I was going to bring up to because it is something that you hear in reports that someone was Usually it's a guitar. Someone was playing a guitar and there's a response. And I've actually experienced that firsthand in Oregon, where an individual was playing a guitar out in the forest and then we got roared and screamed at and it happened two times in a row and then we left. It was crazy. But is that anything where you've played guitar and had any weird things in response, or it kicked off things in your backyard.

50:40 No, uh, not that I can tell. Uh, you know, I don't know if it's a well, I haven't been researching a whole lot here lately, as far as spending time back there in the woods with my thermal cameras and everything. I'll take and sit back there and just you know which I enjoyed just watching whatever's coming through the woods where there's deer, possums or wild boar reckon. What do you know. I just love wildlife anyway, So watching and see why I don't catch on cameras fun. But is uh, I'm you know, like I said, a lot of a lot of stuff happened in twenty eighteen. It was in twenty twenty three. I think it was sometimes a friend of mine, which is a deer friend and a great researcher named Terry Allen. He uh, he come to my house and a little researching and we caught something on camera or he did there uh that one night while he was here. That was really interesting and I call it some of some of the best evidence that shows that boogers back here. But uh, that's something also I can I can I can show you that, I show my presentations, but uh, you know it. If you if you were and I've done this and I can show again, I'll show it to you. But one day I was I was wondering, well, why why why is my area? Why would it be so active here?

52:03 So I went to Google and took a Google Maps or Google satellite shot of my house in the area, and looking down at my house, you know, of course you don't see it from the ground level, but looking to my house, I'm like, oh, that makes sense. But if you look at my house, the woods surrounding my house in front and the back. Of course, there's a road in front of my house. It's an old rural road, but it almost works like an hour glass, you know how an hour glass is shaped, And right in the thinnest part of that air hour glass is where my house is. So the woods that's shaped like an hour glass, and it's big old lags back there and creeks and swamps and that thing you know that makes it boggers.

52:48 So I'm thinking, if you're going to cross the road in front of my house and want to stay in the woods, you basically have to come through my yard, or go through a big field, or or through a neighborhood or something you know that's on down the roads. But the biggest part of the woods. You have to almost come through my yard to cross the road to continue through the woods. And uh and like I say, it's kind of shaped like an hour glass, and and and and that's that's why I think maybe I guess much activity because these boogers, you know, maybe just passing through and this is the way they go to get to uh, you know, uh other other lakes and to the Chattahoochee River or whatever it is they're heading to, you know, in this neighborhood. But uh, that's the only reason I can think of it's been so active.

53:40 Do you have a goal with you know, you're trying to you pretty much keep an eye on what's going on in your backyard. Do you have something you wish you would happen with having the boogers in your backyard or is it just something where you're you're watching them kind of like uh uh like a Jean Goodall wood almost. Well, it's kind of like that. I I I something I've never done is do howls back there, you know, never knowing once while I may do a tree knock on something, but I don't do that to off either. You know. I just think, well, you know, if they use this area and they give me the chance to see them or have a little fun and and and enjoy boogering in my back yard already especially, but I don't have to cool nowhere. You know, I'm not gonna bother them. So so yeah, I basically, I guess I just try to just go back there and observe. I don't try to draw me in. Every once in a while, I take some apples or bananas or something. You know, we got them lay in our house, and I just take them back there just see what happens. You know, I don't I don't follow up on it a lot.

54:45 But but yeah, that's basic. I just I just don't bother them too much. And uh, you know, I know they're there, you know, I've got to I found a huge footprint one time, the only footprint I've ever found, you know. You know, it's it's hard to get put prints and stuff. Uh, you know in Alabama and Georgia, and when you get out in those woods there's so much stuff on the ground. But I actually found a pretty nice footprint that was in my front yard right right, just real close to where my my daughter's polar bear was standing. Of course it was some years later during that time. It's years later, but I've actually had some good photos. I tried to cash it, but I screwed it up because I've never done one of those before.

55:28 But I got lots of good photos of it. But uh, acted a big footpen But this critter looks like it came from the from across the street from my house, from the woods and stepped away up on the bank, six eight feet bank, and it looked like it accidentally stepped in a fire bed, an old ant bed, cause that's where the print was, that right dead centered his ant bed. And uh, that's why I'll send that to you too. But that's the only print I've ever found around here, and I'm pretty sure it is my act stepped in that ant bed and kept going through the tree line, but it's it was way too big to be a human footprint that I've ever seen. Dale.

56:11 You you mentioned already that you have taken at least one trip out to to the Brenda Harris's gathering, But do you ever partner, go to other researcher gatherings and try to get into the field to see if you can see evidence in other places. Or is it a thing where you're just pretty much focused on your backyard area. Oh no, no, I love I love hanging out and with other researchers and uh uh. Not long ago, we had a we had an awesome meet and greet and at at Hollis National Park or that's located around Silicaga, Alabama. Okay, And it's for the with the big Foot group that I'm in. I don't know, if a bit, it's one of my favorites. It's the wood Walkers filled with the Z Yeah, yeah, yeah, they're that that that that's my main main hangout right there. But anyway, when we had that big meeting Greek just a few months ago, man, we had a ball. There's like a like one hundred and thirty people showed up out there. I mean, and this was and and I was honored to be the featured speaker and entertainer, you know, But I didn't do a whole lot. I enjoyed it, but I enjoyed it, you know, doing a little bit and picking and singing.

57:29 But mingling with everybody you know, and so many people from the group, you know, and Misty and Spencer and Coombo was there, and Terry Allen and Billy Shilling. I mean just just everybody, Phillie and John. I could just mention so many good friends. But yeah, I do enjoy it mingland and uh and hanging out with others and the you know, squatching a little bit uh with with whoever. And I've been portrayed to meet a lot of the a lot a lot of why I don't I don't like use the poor big time hours, but more of the well known researchers and things like you know, MK Davis and Stacy Brown, a bunch of folks. And I've been fortunate to do to do some speaking engagements here recently.

58:15 I did a couple earlier this year and just standing in the room. Only it wasn't because of me, you know, because we just had a good conference with some great lineup and stuff. But I got the honor of hosting and being the MC for a couple of conferences, and I got a few things on the board that I'm gonna do this this year, just you know, I figured this could be one of my last big years. I'm getting older as far as I'm gonna just go parts, you know, because I just retired this year, just turned sixty seven, so I'm officially retired, even though I've been medically retired since twenty fourteen because of the net problems and stuff I have. But I'm officially retired now, so I'm getting out and doing more. And but I got something kind of like I'll be speaking at in Pine Mountain, Georgia on the forest at a public library. And then I'll be in Aniston, Alabama next month in June the sixth and seventh, I think it is at the Alabama big Foot Conference. Then I'll be in hopefully at Beechwoot with Todd Nice and July. Oh cool, Oregon. Wow, you're headed out there, Oregon. Nice. Nice. I'm trying my best.

59:34 It was an honor to be invited, and this is the last year they're having it, you know, so to be invited to that's an honor to start with, you know. So that's that's pretty cool. So I'm gonna try my best to make that. And then I got something in Missouri with Texas Western and everyone in September. The Kansas City Conference Yeah, I think it's yeah area, that's awesome. Yeah, almost like I'm in the music business again, because I hadn't toured and traveled in a long long time. But you stay on the road. Absolutely well. George said it was Says said said it was the greatest military tribute he had ever heard, which is a big honor, you know, from somebody like George Jones, you know. Uh. But anyway, I would like people listen to that, and uh and and and and and honor, honor, honor our veterans, you know. And if if you got a friend of family member that's that's lost someone uh, you know, for fight for our country, you know, let them here to let them know we appreciate them. But anyway, that's that's that's that's my little music plug. But I always thinks very important to to support our veterans and our troops.
