Eastern Maryland and NE Oklahoma Sasquatch!

Join host Jeremiah Byron from the Bigfoot Society as two distinct witnesses, Scott from Maryland and Ernie from Oklahoma, share their eerie encounters with Bigfoot. Scott recounts multiple eerie experiences in the woods of Federalsburg, Maryland, including a sighting by his kid's mother, discovering large footprints, and spotting strange TP structures and glowing orbs. Ernie takes us back to March 2001 in Northeast Oklahoma, where he and his sisters had a close encounter with a towering, human-like creature while driving home at night. Both witnesses provide detailed accounts of their experiences, adding layers of mystery and intrigue to the elusive legend of Bigfoot.

 Sasquatch Summerfest this year, is July 11th through the 12th, 2025. It's going to be fantastic. Listeners, if you're going to go, you can get a two day ticket for the cost of one. If you use the code "BFS" like Bigfoot society and it'll get you some off your cost.

with the show. At Big for Society, I've got the

00:00:40.640 --> 00:00:43.799
privilege of talking to Scott today. Scott is an individual

15
00:00:43.880 --> 00:00:46.079
that he's a listener of the show. He also reached

16
00:00:46.079 --> 00:00:50.320
out to me about some things from the Federalsburg, Maryland area,

17
00:00:50.399 --> 00:00:53.679
which is over by the Delaware border. That's an area

18
00:00:53.799 --> 00:00:56.759
we don't hear a lot about. So Scott, welcome to

19
00:00:56.799 --> 00:00:59.960
the show. How's it going, man, going pretty good?

20
00:01:00.079 --> 00:01:01.640
Thank you so much for having me on the show.

21
00:01:01.719 --> 00:01:04.840
Jeremiah, I'm a big fan I listened to your podcast

22
00:01:04.920 --> 00:01:08.799
quite often, so I go ahead and get right into it.

23
00:01:09.079 --> 00:01:11.319
I grew up on the eastern shore of Maryland. I've

24
00:01:11.319 --> 00:01:13.719
been in the woods a lot as a kid, as

25
00:01:14.079 --> 00:01:17.920
also as a young adult. Deer helnted all my life.

26
00:01:19.079 --> 00:01:21.560
I was always in the woods, riding four wheelers, dirt bikes,

27
00:01:21.560 --> 00:01:23.840
and things of that nature. I never really believed in

28
00:01:23.840 --> 00:01:27.519
Bigfoot or cryptis, so I'd say around two thousand and

29
00:01:27.519 --> 00:01:31.439
five two thousand and six, around November was a little

30
00:01:31.480 --> 00:01:31.959
chili out.

31
00:01:32.000 --> 00:01:32.840
Around that time.

32
00:01:34.159 --> 00:01:36.120
Well, I had a friend over my house and I

33
00:01:36.159 --> 00:01:38.359
wanted to show him and my kid's mother where my

34
00:01:38.439 --> 00:01:41.319
deer stand was, just in case if anything ever happens

35
00:01:41.400 --> 00:01:45.200
and they know where to find me. As we was

36
00:01:45.239 --> 00:01:49.680
exiting the trail to the field, I noticed as I

37
00:01:49.760 --> 00:01:52.000
was walking to my kid's mother wasn't with us.

38
00:01:52.200 --> 00:01:53.079
So I turned.

39
00:01:52.799 --> 00:01:55.400
Around and I seen her staring into the woods like

40
00:01:55.439 --> 00:01:59.120
she had seen a ghost. Then proceeded to start walking fast,

41
00:01:59.439 --> 00:02:02.599
heading towards me, me and my friend. So I let

42
00:02:02.599 --> 00:02:07.079
her get I let her so hold towards me and

43
00:02:07.120 --> 00:02:10.360
my friend and said let's get out of here. At

44
00:02:10.360 --> 00:02:12.960
the time, I've heard a bunch of like branches and

45
00:02:13.159 --> 00:02:15.319
things of that nature cracking in the woods.

46
00:02:14.960 --> 00:02:16.199
Like something big was moving.

47
00:02:17.680 --> 00:02:19.919
So we get closer back to my parents' house and

48
00:02:19.960 --> 00:02:22.039
I had to ask my kid's mother what exactly did

49
00:02:22.080 --> 00:02:25.080
she see. She said, whatever it was, it was on

50
00:02:25.240 --> 00:02:28.800
all fours. It was black, furry body, and it had

51
00:02:28.800 --> 00:02:32.000
a human face and was staring at her. She didn't

52
00:02:32.039 --> 00:02:35.240
have much more to say about it, but what she seen,

53
00:02:35.919 --> 00:02:37.919
I know, had definitely spooked her.

54
00:02:38.719 --> 00:02:40.120
I never thought of any.

55
00:02:39.919 --> 00:02:43.479
Creature like that in the woods, especially how she described it.

56
00:02:43.840 --> 00:02:47.400
So I say, about three to four months past, I

57
00:02:47.520 --> 00:02:50.199
was probably about eighteen nineteen years old at the time.

58
00:02:50.599 --> 00:02:53.240
I was working at a grocery store late night stock

59
00:02:53.280 --> 00:02:56.360
and shelves. I was coming home from work. My dad

60
00:02:56.439 --> 00:02:59.039
has always made me park my pickup in the backyard

61
00:02:59.319 --> 00:03:02.879
of my parents' house. We have two driveways to the house.

62
00:03:02.919 --> 00:03:05.960
The second driveway goes to the backyard. So as I'm

63
00:03:06.039 --> 00:03:08.520
hitting down the driveway to make a U turn, I say,

64
00:03:08.520 --> 00:03:11.560
this is probably about eleven eleven thirty at night. As

65
00:03:11.599 --> 00:03:13.759
I was making the U turn to park my truck,

66
00:03:14.840 --> 00:03:17.800
I got a quick glimpse of something tall and black

67
00:03:17.879 --> 00:03:19.840
fur out of the corner of my eye. Out the

68
00:03:19.879 --> 00:03:22.759
driver's side window of my truck. I didn't get to

69
00:03:22.759 --> 00:03:24.919
see a face or an arm or anything like that.

70
00:03:25.319 --> 00:03:29.080
I just saw fur for a quick second. I was frozen.

71
00:03:29.360 --> 00:03:32.120
But but what I seen is I had stopped my

72
00:03:32.120 --> 00:03:35.280
truck right away. I was so scared by what I

73
00:03:35.439 --> 00:03:37.800
just saw because I have never witnessed anything on the

74
00:03:37.840 --> 00:03:41.000
Eastern Shore with black fur. We don't have bears in

75
00:03:41.000 --> 00:03:44.080
that area. So I ended up driving my truck up

76
00:03:44.120 --> 00:03:45.800
to the back door of the house. I hopped out

77
00:03:45.800 --> 00:03:47.960
and ran inside the house and told my father about it.

78
00:03:48.639 --> 00:03:50.520
I was too scared to park the truck and walk

79
00:03:50.560 --> 00:03:53.360
to the house. After seeing what I seen. My dad said, son,

80
00:03:53.400 --> 00:03:57.360
you've probably seen a deer. I said, no, no, no way,

81
00:03:57.479 --> 00:03:58.240
no way, dad.

82
00:03:58.599 --> 00:04:01.719
Whatever it was, it wasn't the deer, not with black fur.

83
00:04:02.599 --> 00:04:02.919
I'd say.

84
00:04:03.000 --> 00:04:05.280
About a year or two years later, I was in

85
00:04:05.319 --> 00:04:09.000
the woods, same woods walking. There's a path back, there's

86
00:04:09.000 --> 00:04:14.919
a nature trail. It's behind it's behind a school. Back

87
00:04:14.960 --> 00:04:17.720
in the seventies, they used to go back there for

88
00:04:17.959 --> 00:04:20.560
I guess I'm not exactly sure what class it was,

89
00:04:20.600 --> 00:04:23.480
but it was it was through through the school they

90
00:04:23.560 --> 00:04:26.480
learned about like trees or whatever, and.

91
00:04:28.759 --> 00:04:29.639
There's a high.

92
00:04:29.439 --> 00:04:32.680
School in the middle school right side by side, and

93
00:04:33.319 --> 00:04:36.000
they after like in the seventies, they stopped going back

94
00:04:36.000 --> 00:04:37.720
there for some reason. I really don't know what the

95
00:04:37.759 --> 00:04:41.319
reason was, but we always liked to go back there

96
00:04:41.360 --> 00:04:43.319
and keep the trails clean because we always ride our

97
00:04:43.319 --> 00:04:45.519
dirt bikes and four wheelers back there and things like

98
00:04:45.560 --> 00:04:49.160
that when we were younger. So one day I was

99
00:04:49.199 --> 00:04:53.079
back there and I was on foot.

100
00:04:53.120 --> 00:04:54.519
This day I.

101
00:04:54.480 --> 00:04:57.439
Came across this in deep impression in the mud of

102
00:04:57.480 --> 00:05:00.199
a huge footprint had to be at least seven ten

103
00:05:00.240 --> 00:05:04.639
inches long and at least six six feet wide. At

104
00:05:04.680 --> 00:05:07.360
the time, I had an old flip phone and didn't

105
00:05:07.399 --> 00:05:09.040
have a camera on it, so I couldn't take a

106
00:05:09.040 --> 00:05:11.240
picture and never thought of getting the casting of it.

107
00:05:11.920 --> 00:05:14.240
But after seeing the footprint, I had a good idea

108
00:05:14.279 --> 00:05:16.680
it was a big foot and made me a believer

109
00:05:16.759 --> 00:05:19.720
one hundred percent. Then, I say, about three months past,

110
00:05:20.079 --> 00:05:23.000
my dad came to me and said, son, you remember

111
00:05:23.040 --> 00:05:25.959
telling me about the footprint and the black fur you saw.

112
00:05:26.120 --> 00:05:29.319
I said yeah, he said, Then he said, son, well

113
00:05:29.399 --> 00:05:31.439
I believe you what you saw.

114
00:05:31.680 --> 00:05:33.160
I said, would you? He said yeah.

115
00:05:33.240 --> 00:05:36.199
Then he said, well I believe you what you saw,

116
00:05:36.279 --> 00:05:38.519
he said, he actually seen it hisself.

117
00:05:38.639 --> 00:05:41.439
I asked him, what did you see? He said, I

118
00:05:41.439 --> 00:05:42.759
seen him Bigfoot.

119
00:05:42.959 --> 00:05:45.199
So across the street from my parents' house, there's a

120
00:05:45.240 --> 00:05:47.680
field that divides a ditch with another field on the

121
00:05:47.720 --> 00:05:49.319
other side, he said.

122
00:05:49.600 --> 00:05:52.319
He said, he's seen a real big humanlike black.

123
00:05:52.040 --> 00:05:55.519
Furry thing that looked like a bigfoot walking upright across

124
00:05:55.560 --> 00:05:58.160
the field on the other side of the ditch. I

125
00:05:58.199 --> 00:06:00.000
want to say it was at least two hundred yards

126
00:06:00.160 --> 00:06:02.680
away from the front porch where he had seen it from.

127
00:06:03.399 --> 00:06:06.199
He has also told me that around dust he keeps

128
00:06:06.199 --> 00:06:09.600
seeing something in the front field across from the house

129
00:06:09.839 --> 00:06:11.600
that to him looks like orbs.

130
00:06:12.519 --> 00:06:13.279
He said it see.

131
00:06:13.399 --> 00:06:16.720
He sees them and they move real fast and shoot

132
00:06:16.759 --> 00:06:19.000
up the tree and go from one tree to another

133
00:06:19.120 --> 00:06:22.480
like it jumps. He says he sees this almost every night.

134
00:06:23.279 --> 00:06:26.000
I have been on the hook about Bigfoot ever since.

135
00:06:26.079 --> 00:06:28.560
And I actually went back in those woods I seen

136
00:06:28.639 --> 00:06:32.680
the I seen the footprint around Thanksgiving time of twenty

137
00:06:32.800 --> 00:06:38.879
twenty four, and when I was walking the trails back there,

138
00:06:38.920 --> 00:06:42.160
I came across these like TP structures. There was like

139
00:06:42.240 --> 00:06:44.160
six of them back there, but it was a little

140
00:06:44.160 --> 00:06:47.639
strange because they seemed a little too small to be something.

141
00:06:47.360 --> 00:06:49.560
That a bigfoot would would make.

142
00:06:50.199 --> 00:06:52.360
And there's no there's no kids or anything like that

143
00:06:52.399 --> 00:06:54.319
that I know of that go in those woods and

144
00:06:54.360 --> 00:06:58.759
play and and like where I've seen them at the trail,

145
00:06:58.920 --> 00:07:01.000
it goes, it goes through, it opens up to this

146
00:07:01.040 --> 00:07:03.959
real big area, and in that area is where I've

147
00:07:03.959 --> 00:07:09.680
seen the majority of these TP type structures. That's that's

148
00:07:09.720 --> 00:07:13.279
about it, Jeremiah. That's my story, and I appreciate you

149
00:07:13.279 --> 00:07:17.399
having me on here. I'm a little nervous. I definitely

150
00:07:17.399 --> 00:07:21.439
would like to see bigfoot myself one day, actually see it.

151
00:07:23.800 --> 00:07:26.439
I've been amazed with it ever since, and I'm definitely

152
00:07:26.480 --> 00:07:27.000
a believer.

153
00:07:28.879 --> 00:07:32.120
Absolutely. Yeah, thank you for sharing that. I'm looking at

154
00:07:32.319 --> 00:07:35.160
the map of Federalsburg right now. It looks like there's

155
00:07:35.199 --> 00:07:40.160
a pretty sizable wildlife management area north of the town.

156
00:07:42.120 --> 00:07:45.920
Yes, sir, sir, this is a.

157
00:07:45.839 --> 00:07:49.240
Pretty good spot for for something to be in for sure.

158
00:07:51.000 --> 00:07:56.519
Definitely, the area where I'm at is more towards out

159
00:07:56.560 --> 00:07:59.240
in the country. That's more or less like closer to

160
00:07:59.360 --> 00:08:04.600
the town town side the wildlife area. I'm more towards

161
00:08:04.920 --> 00:08:07.560
out towards the country, going like hidden towards like Detton,

162
00:08:07.600 --> 00:08:10.279
Maryland out towards that way.

163
00:08:11.800 --> 00:08:14.360
That's that's where I had my scene, all had all

164
00:08:14.360 --> 00:08:15.480
this happen.

165
00:08:18.240 --> 00:08:20.199
Okay, so that was up in Denton.

166
00:08:20.360 --> 00:08:25.399
You said that area, Yeah, it's like outside of Fettersburg,

167
00:08:25.519 --> 00:08:28.000
hidden towards Detton, Maryland. It's kind of like in between

168
00:08:29.480 --> 00:08:33.879
and within that area, like I said, there's a I'm

169
00:08:33.919 --> 00:08:36.039
not sure if you're ever to pull up Richardson Road,

170
00:08:37.000 --> 00:08:40.120
but in that area there Richardson Road and then like

171
00:08:40.200 --> 00:08:43.759
American Corner right there in that area there where where.

172
00:08:43.559 --> 00:08:46.000
I've had all these sightings and and everything.

173
00:08:48.080 --> 00:08:52.200
Now, have you done any sometimes you know, you have

174
00:08:52.279 --> 00:08:56.080
a sighting and and you start really digging into it,

175
00:08:56.200 --> 00:08:59.559
have you, you know, look to see if there's been

176
00:08:59.600 --> 00:09:02.639
on any other sightings in this area over the years,

177
00:09:02.799 --> 00:09:07.960
or is maybe local stories of seeing something like this.

178
00:09:09.519 --> 00:09:12.320
So when I was a kid, my brother's friend used

179
00:09:12.320 --> 00:09:14.240
to tell me it used to say all the time.

180
00:09:14.720 --> 00:09:16.039
Of course I'm the youngest.

181
00:09:16.039 --> 00:09:18.840
I have two older brothers, and they used to say

182
00:09:18.879 --> 00:09:21.799
that there used to be that they had witnessed something

183
00:09:22.200 --> 00:09:23.360
running across the field.

184
00:09:23.360 --> 00:09:25.240
They were spotlight and deer one night.

185
00:09:25.840 --> 00:09:29.519
And they spooked something up and they were in a

186
00:09:29.519 --> 00:09:33.559
little S ten pickup truck and this whatever this thing was,

187
00:09:33.720 --> 00:09:37.080
started chasing after them, and they were doing every bit

188
00:09:37.120 --> 00:09:38.960
of like forty fifty miles an hour, and this thing

189
00:09:39.039 --> 00:09:41.399
was like right on them and they couldn't tell what

190
00:09:41.440 --> 00:09:45.519
it was. And a couple other people have said that

191
00:09:45.600 --> 00:09:48.399
it's like a jabby walker, which I've never heard of before.

192
00:09:51.360 --> 00:09:53.279
Other than that, I've.

193
00:09:53.159 --> 00:09:57.960
Looked on the BFR be at the Bigfoot Research page,

194
00:09:58.240 --> 00:10:04.080
and I haven't seen anything in my area. So a

195
00:10:04.080 --> 00:10:05.919
lot of people when I when I when I come

196
00:10:05.919 --> 00:10:08.879
out and tell these stories, you know, they they definitely

197
00:10:08.919 --> 00:10:12.159
don't believe me because nobody's ever witnessed anything within that area.

198
00:10:12.720 --> 00:10:16.559
I personally think that Bigfoot is everywhere. I don't think

199
00:10:16.600 --> 00:10:19.559
that he's just like in the mountains or you know

200
00:10:19.600 --> 00:10:20.720
where there's a lot of elevation.

201
00:10:20.840 --> 00:10:23.720
I feel like he they're everywhere.

202
00:10:25.440 --> 00:10:29.039
No, I agree, I mean as long as there's you know,

203
00:10:29.320 --> 00:10:32.000
food source and uh, is there a lot of deer

204
00:10:32.080 --> 00:10:34.360
in in things in that area or what what do

205
00:10:34.399 --> 00:10:35.200
you have down there?

206
00:10:35.399 --> 00:10:39.279
Yes, we definitely got a lot of deer and in

207
00:10:39.320 --> 00:10:42.039
that area that I that I've all this stuff went down.

208
00:10:42.120 --> 00:10:45.799
There's actually a pond back there as well, so there's

209
00:10:45.799 --> 00:10:51.600
definitely places for you know, food and other resources.

210
00:10:52.200 --> 00:10:52.519
Mm hm.

211
00:10:53.840 --> 00:10:58.320
Any you know, sometimes when you have things like this

212
00:10:58.480 --> 00:11:01.519
going on, there'll be like a lot of missing pets

213
00:11:02.080 --> 00:11:04.720
or things like that. Has there ever been an issue

214
00:11:05.679 --> 00:11:07.159
with that down there at all?

215
00:11:09.559 --> 00:11:11.399
Well, when I was younger growing up, we had a

216
00:11:11.399 --> 00:11:13.840
few cats going missing, but we just figured they just

217
00:11:13.840 --> 00:11:15.080
went off and died somewhere.

218
00:11:15.360 --> 00:11:21.120
You know, I don't really know, you know, to be honest.

219
00:11:21.519 --> 00:11:26.240
What's it like talking to your dad regarding Have you

220
00:11:26.279 --> 00:11:28.679
ever talked to him about what he saw?

221
00:11:30.759 --> 00:11:32.600
Yes? I have spoke to him about it.

222
00:11:34.919 --> 00:11:37.720
He's, like I said, he was never a believer until

223
00:11:37.720 --> 00:11:40.720
he actually seen what he's seen that day, and ever

224
00:11:40.799 --> 00:11:44.919
since then, it's definitely made him a believer. I got

225
00:11:44.960 --> 00:11:48.039
it got him into actually watching like the big Foot

226
00:11:48.080 --> 00:11:51.039
shows on TV, and I mean, I believe he's just

227
00:11:51.080 --> 00:11:55.399
as hooked as I am.

228
00:11:55.440 --> 00:11:58.320
You said, there's definitely no bear down in your area

229
00:11:58.519 --> 00:12:00.240
right now.

230
00:12:00.759 --> 00:12:04.000
Western Maryland has bears, but not the eastern Shore, gotcha.

231
00:12:04.279 --> 00:12:06.799
Yeah, it doesn't really make sense that they would be

232
00:12:06.960 --> 00:12:14.200
over there. But that's interesting especially, I mean, well, the

233
00:12:14.320 --> 00:12:18.440
even more interesting I think is seeing the orbs. What

234
00:12:18.519 --> 00:12:19.240
color were those?

235
00:12:19.279 --> 00:12:23.240
Again, he never wanted in the detail to actually tell

236
00:12:23.279 --> 00:12:24.159
me what color they were.

237
00:12:24.240 --> 00:12:26.600
He just said that he saw them and they moved

238
00:12:26.600 --> 00:12:28.840
super fast and jumped from tree to tree. He said,

239
00:12:29.159 --> 00:12:31.720
it moves like wave like, it shoots right up the

240
00:12:31.919 --> 00:12:33.960
tree and it just like jumps from one tree to

241
00:12:34.000 --> 00:12:34.360
the other.

242
00:12:35.360 --> 00:12:41.120
Gotcha, when in this area where all the all the

243
00:12:41.200 --> 00:12:45.399
things are going on, are there ever any other weird

244
00:12:45.440 --> 00:12:49.240
things to happen, maybe out of place sounds or anything.

245
00:12:49.279 --> 00:12:50.039
I thought.

246
00:12:52.000 --> 00:12:54.519
So I pretty much grew up there all my life

247
00:12:54.519 --> 00:12:56.279
when I was a kid, and I used to hear

248
00:12:56.320 --> 00:13:00.639
a lot of crazy sounds in the woods. And anytime

249
00:13:00.679 --> 00:13:02.639
I went and you know, asked my father, Hey, you

250
00:13:02.639 --> 00:13:04.759
know what what was that sound I heard? He'll be like,

251
00:13:04.799 --> 00:13:08.240
you know, that's a fox or it's something like that mating.

252
00:13:09.519 --> 00:13:12.200
I've heard stories of, like with the big foots. Like

253
00:13:12.240 --> 00:13:14.519
from listening to your show where it sounds like a

254
00:13:14.559 --> 00:13:15.840
woman screaming.

255
00:13:17.039 --> 00:13:19.879
I've actually heard that when I was younger in that area.

256
00:13:23.240 --> 00:13:27.480
Oh so you've heard like that screaming noise, Yes, sir,

257
00:13:27.759 --> 00:13:32.279
that's interesting. Yeah, I mean foxes can I'm sure you're

258
00:13:32.320 --> 00:13:38.080
aware of how foxes sound, right, and they can sound weird,

259
00:13:38.240 --> 00:13:42.320
but uh, it's a little bit different. I'm sure you're

260
00:13:42.639 --> 00:13:45.039
you're probably aware of the difference, and you know that

261
00:13:45.440 --> 00:13:47.720
the sound of the animals that are in that area.

262
00:13:50.039 --> 00:13:50.440
Mm hmm.

263
00:13:52.399 --> 00:13:59.559
That's very that's very interesting. After you had these things

264
00:13:59.639 --> 00:14:02.799
happen and and and people were having sightings, did anything

265
00:14:02.840 --> 00:14:05.480
weird ever start to happen around the house.

266
00:14:07.679 --> 00:14:14.559
No, not that I can recall. Not nothing recently either. Besides,

267
00:14:14.600 --> 00:14:16.720
you know what my dad's seen, but that was probably

268
00:14:16.799 --> 00:14:18.879
last time I heard him talk about those oars was

269
00:14:18.919 --> 00:14:23.080
probably a year ago, six months to a year ago.

270
00:14:25.200 --> 00:14:27.679
I'm actually getting ready to move back to that area,

271
00:14:28.440 --> 00:14:30.600
so when I get over there, I'm definitely going to

272
00:14:30.639 --> 00:14:32.840
be doing some more research myself.

273
00:14:34.360 --> 00:14:37.360
Do you know of anyone that is already doing research

274
00:14:37.399 --> 00:14:38.000
in that area?

275
00:14:39.600 --> 00:14:41.200
No, not not anybody.

276
00:14:43.480 --> 00:14:47.360
Yeah, it's it's an area that I have never heard

277
00:14:47.559 --> 00:14:52.000
anyone bring up. So that's that's very interesting. It'll be interesting,

278
00:14:52.120 --> 00:14:58.320
you know, definitely keeping keep in touch if you if

279
00:14:58.360 --> 00:15:01.639
you do end up, you know, going out and if

280
00:15:01.679 --> 00:15:06.639
you start to find things out there, I could could

281
00:15:06.639 --> 00:15:07.840
get pretty interesting.

282
00:15:09.279 --> 00:15:13.039
Yes, sir, are there. I've been hooked. I've been hooked

283
00:15:13.039 --> 00:15:16.519
on it ever since. Man, yeah, big fanatic, man.

284
00:15:16.840 --> 00:15:19.600
Big for society will be right back after these messages.

285
00:15:36.120 --> 00:15:41.080
I'm I'm right there with you. Are there any uh? Yeah,

286
00:15:41.159 --> 00:15:44.159
some some, especially on the East Coast, you have these

287
00:15:44.240 --> 00:15:49.360
towns and and they have like really old like town

288
00:15:49.480 --> 00:15:53.200
stories or legends. Are there any any of those down

289
00:15:53.240 --> 00:15:57.480
in this area from you know, one hundred years back

290
00:15:57.600 --> 00:15:58.399
or anything like that.

291
00:16:00.159 --> 00:16:00.960
No, not really.

292
00:16:01.000 --> 00:16:04.399
I mean there's like some paranormals, paranormal stuff, but it's

293
00:16:04.440 --> 00:16:07.279
more or less like I don't know, at least half

294
00:16:07.320 --> 00:16:09.639
an hour to an hour from from that area, but

295
00:16:09.720 --> 00:16:11.159
not exactly in that area.

296
00:16:11.200 --> 00:16:12.480
I haven't heard of anything.

297
00:16:13.080 --> 00:16:15.440
Oh okay, so it'd be like there's haunted stuff like

298
00:16:15.480 --> 00:16:20.559
an hour away stuff like that, right right, gotcha? That

299
00:16:20.759 --> 00:16:25.759
is interesting. It's it. You know, you look at it

300
00:16:25.840 --> 00:16:30.159
a map and people wouldn't think that there could be

301
00:16:30.240 --> 00:16:33.360
bigfoot stuff. But I mean it's just you've got Delaware

302
00:16:33.399 --> 00:16:37.000
to the to the east of it, and then you've

303
00:16:37.000 --> 00:16:42.120
got Delaware Bay, and then that area South Jersey is

304
00:16:42.240 --> 00:16:46.039
just crazy with bigfoot stuff. The Vineland area, I mean,

305
00:16:46.080 --> 00:16:52.159
it's right there. Yeah, So man, I don't think it's

306
00:16:52.320 --> 00:16:55.679
it's out of the question that I mean, you have

307
00:16:56.200 --> 00:16:59.279
you have that confirmed visual from your father, which is

308
00:16:59.360 --> 00:17:01.960
pretty rock and right.

309
00:17:02.000 --> 00:17:04.200
And after I've seen that footprint in the woods, there's

310
00:17:04.200 --> 00:17:07.759
nothing that tells me that it's anything else but a

311
00:17:07.759 --> 00:17:10.599
big foot. I mean it had to heal the toes everything.

312
00:17:13.079 --> 00:17:17.000
Now, when you saw that footprint, did you see more

313
00:17:17.039 --> 00:17:20.359
than one? Or was it a single footprint in that area?

314
00:17:20.759 --> 00:17:23.640
Hey, Jeremiah, to be honest with you, was I only

315
00:17:23.680 --> 00:17:27.240
seeing one? I walked around and figured, you know, it

316
00:17:27.319 --> 00:17:29.200
might have been a long step. I could never find

317
00:17:29.200 --> 00:17:30.960
a second footprint. I only found the one.

318
00:17:32.240 --> 00:17:39.960
That's weird, I my friend, I don't know.

319
00:17:41.839 --> 00:17:42.119
I had.

320
00:17:42.119 --> 00:17:45.640
Actually it was in a video on the area fifty

321
00:17:45.640 --> 00:17:50.680
eight Museum channel. Steve brought up an idea where when

322
00:17:50.720 --> 00:17:54.599
you maybe when you see one of those, you know,

323
00:17:54.680 --> 00:17:59.079
footprints by themselves and it's underneath them just some trees,

324
00:17:59.119 --> 00:18:02.279
it might be worth looking up in the trees because

325
00:18:02.319 --> 00:18:04.400
they may have done a thing where they kind of

326
00:18:04.559 --> 00:18:07.680
launched themselves up in the tree and they're they're hanging

327
00:18:07.720 --> 00:18:12.160
on to a pine tree up there. So it's something

328
00:18:12.200 --> 00:18:14.319
I'm going to keep in mind when I go out

329
00:18:15.480 --> 00:18:18.119
go out to the Pacific Northwest again. But it might

330
00:18:18.160 --> 00:18:21.160
be something to keep in mind when you go back

331
00:18:21.200 --> 00:18:22.279
to the area as well.

332
00:18:23.119 --> 00:18:26.039
Definitely, definitely, definitely, I'm definitely going to look for that

333
00:18:26.039 --> 00:18:27.599
because you know, at the time, like I said, I

334
00:18:27.640 --> 00:18:29.799
wasn't that big of a believer and I didn't really

335
00:18:29.839 --> 00:18:30.480
think of much.

336
00:18:30.680 --> 00:18:33.000
After I've seen the one footprint, I wouldn't. I didn't think,

337
00:18:33.039 --> 00:18:33.799
you know, to look up.

338
00:18:33.839 --> 00:18:35.559
But I'm definitely going to look up and when i

339
00:18:35.640 --> 00:18:37.839
go back to that area, I'm going to do some.

340
00:18:37.720 --> 00:18:39.160
Research and see what I can find.

341
00:18:41.920 --> 00:18:46.359
You'd mentioned that your kid's mother was was very affected.

342
00:18:47.720 --> 00:18:53.240
Is she still pretty affected and with the whole subject

343
00:18:53.359 --> 00:18:55.240
or or how is she with that now?

344
00:18:56.680 --> 00:19:00.519
She's she's definitely still affected by it. You know.

345
00:19:00.680 --> 00:19:04.799
I told my son about it, and he's actually you know,

346
00:19:04.920 --> 00:19:08.279
actually confronted her about it, and she explained it to

347
00:19:08.359 --> 00:19:11.559
him because he wasn't born at the time, and and

348
00:19:11.680 --> 00:19:15.200
the way you know, she explained it to him, it's

349
00:19:15.240 --> 00:19:18.000
pretty much the same, you know, the same, same, same thing,

350
00:19:18.440 --> 00:19:21.359
And you know, I feel like she's still affected by

351
00:19:21.400 --> 00:19:22.799
it till just till this day.

352
00:19:23.799 --> 00:19:28.160
Absolutely, you know, uh, you being able to talk to

353
00:19:28.839 --> 00:19:34.240
the different people that have these experiences and then yourself

354
00:19:34.359 --> 00:19:39.880
as well, from everything that you've been able to hear

355
00:19:40.039 --> 00:19:46.119
from the witnesses and experience yourself, would you categorize it

356
00:19:46.240 --> 00:19:52.240
more as something that is maybe a human relative, or

357
00:19:52.319 --> 00:19:55.799
something that's more ape like or or what would you say?

358
00:19:57.240 --> 00:20:00.240
I would say it's more humanoid, more of a human

359
00:20:00.519 --> 00:20:07.759
human like the way the way my kids, the way

360
00:20:07.799 --> 00:20:10.200
my kid's mother explained it. You know, when she had

361
00:20:10.240 --> 00:20:11.839
saw it, she said, you know, it was on all

362
00:20:11.920 --> 00:20:14.480
fours and had black fur and had a human face.

363
00:20:18.680 --> 00:20:26.119
Did she ever explain what things about the face made

364
00:20:26.119 --> 00:20:27.880
it seem like a human face to her?

365
00:20:29.599 --> 00:20:32.880
No, she never actually ever went into detail about it. Sure,

366
00:20:35.759 --> 00:20:37.640
you know, that's that's pretty much all she had said.

367
00:20:37.880 --> 00:20:42.200
I think she was so spooked. I haven't really talked

368
00:20:42.240 --> 00:20:45.519
to her recently about the situation that happened that many

369
00:20:45.559 --> 00:20:50.200
years ago. But next time I, you know, I do

370
00:20:50.319 --> 00:20:52.480
have a conversation with her, I will bring that up

371
00:20:52.519 --> 00:20:55.119
and try to get some more information about that day

372
00:20:55.160 --> 00:20:55.559
as well.

373
00:20:57.839 --> 00:21:01.240
Now, off of what you're doing AD has said, and

374
00:21:01.799 --> 00:21:05.319
off of what you experienced as well, how how tall

375
00:21:05.359 --> 00:21:06.839
would you estimate that?

376
00:21:09.200 --> 00:21:09.599
Well?

377
00:21:09.640 --> 00:21:13.240
Yeah, well, well what my dad had saw it was,

378
00:21:13.279 --> 00:21:15.160
like I said, it was about two hundred yards away

379
00:21:15.200 --> 00:21:18.279
from the front porch, and he said this thing was huge,

380
00:21:18.880 --> 00:21:23.039
every bit of like eight to ten feet tall. And

381
00:21:23.119 --> 00:21:25.319
what I had seen out the corner of my eye

382
00:21:25.359 --> 00:21:28.200
that day when I turned around in my parents' driveway.

383
00:21:28.920 --> 00:21:31.920
It was such a quick clamp and I mean my

384
00:21:31.960 --> 00:21:35.119
truck sits up quite a bit, and it was it

385
00:21:35.680 --> 00:21:38.480
was big, whatever it was, but it moved so fast,

386
00:21:38.960 --> 00:21:40.880
you know, it was really hard to tell exactly how.

387
00:21:40.759 --> 00:21:41.400
Tall it was.

388
00:21:42.200 --> 00:21:44.759
I couldn't make out like an arm or anything, but

389
00:21:44.920 --> 00:21:46.240
I definitely saw black.

390
00:21:45.960 --> 00:21:50.079
Fur, some wild wild stuff. I think once this episode

391
00:21:50.119 --> 00:21:54.359
gets out, I'll be interesting to hear to see if

392
00:21:54.640 --> 00:21:57.640
other people in the area have experienced things. I'm gonna

393
00:21:57.720 --> 00:22:00.799
guess that. I mean, you look at a map and

394
00:22:00.839 --> 00:22:03.680
you've got that what is it the Chopp Tank River

395
00:22:05.839 --> 00:22:09.839
just you know, they could just follow that up through

396
00:22:09.880 --> 00:22:14.839
Bethlehem up to Denton and you've got what is it

397
00:22:14.960 --> 00:22:19.480
that I'm gonna say that weird nanta Coke, Right, Nanticoke

398
00:22:20.119 --> 00:22:24.000
got a big wildlife area down there. Yeah, man, this

399
00:22:24.200 --> 00:22:26.880
is a very very interesting area, especially if you have

400
00:22:26.920 --> 00:22:29.920
a ton of deer in that area. Thank you for

401
00:22:30.640 --> 00:22:36.440
reaching out and for sharing what you have experienced. Definitely

402
00:22:36.519 --> 00:22:40.599
keep us informed as to if you experience anything else

403
00:22:41.079 --> 00:22:41.799
in that area.

404
00:22:43.079 --> 00:22:45.119
I definitely will and I appreciate you having me.

405
00:22:45.039 --> 00:22:49.640
On here absolutely well. Pleasure chatting with you. Scott will

406
00:22:49.640 --> 00:22:52.799
be in touch, all right, all right, man, thank you,

407
00:22:53.039 --> 00:22:59.160
all right, we'll talk to you later. So yeah, all right,

408
00:22:59.160 --> 00:23:01.680
big for society, but the privilege of talking to Ernie today.

409
00:23:01.799 --> 00:23:03.720
Ernie is a listener that reached out to me from

410
00:23:03.759 --> 00:23:07.920
northeast Oklahoma about some an interesting experience he had, So

411
00:23:08.240 --> 00:23:09.519
welcome to the show, Ernie.

412
00:23:10.400 --> 00:23:12.319
Hey man, I appreciate you, thanks for having me. I

413
00:23:12.440 --> 00:23:14.160
look forward to sharing the story with you guys and

414
00:23:14.200 --> 00:23:14.759
the listeners.

415
00:23:15.119 --> 00:23:18.279
Absolutely well, Ernie, I'd say we get right into it. It

416
00:23:18.319 --> 00:23:20.960
sounds like it's going to be a really interesting one.

417
00:23:21.000 --> 00:23:22.640
I've been waiting to talk to you for a while.

418
00:23:22.680 --> 00:23:24.880
But you know, Ernie, I'm going to go ahead and

419
00:23:25.160 --> 00:23:27.279
pass the mic right over to you and feel free

420
00:23:27.319 --> 00:23:29.440
to take us back to where we need to be.

421
00:23:30.799 --> 00:23:33.440
Okay. Yeah, This story actually takes place back in March

422
00:23:33.440 --> 00:23:37.000
of two thousand and one, so about twenty four, twenty

423
00:23:37.000 --> 00:23:39.920
five years ago. I was sixteen years old this time.

424
00:23:40.920 --> 00:23:44.119
I'm forty now, going to school, getting ready for law

425
00:23:44.160 --> 00:23:47.200
school things like that. So a little bit about me.

426
00:23:47.319 --> 00:23:50.200
But me and my three sisters were going to visit

427
00:23:50.519 --> 00:23:53.759
a family member that had a new baby, so putting

428
00:23:53.799 --> 00:23:58.920
him about twenty five. Now. We was going to their home,

429
00:23:58.960 --> 00:24:01.759
which was out in Purea, Oklahoma, which is just a

430
00:24:01.799 --> 00:24:05.079
little town on the other side of the Spring River

431
00:24:05.880 --> 00:24:10.359
in the Quapaw Nation Reservation. We were went out there,

432
00:24:10.440 --> 00:24:13.839
we visited. It was break time. We went there, visited

433
00:24:13.839 --> 00:24:17.039
with a family, Me and my three sisters, Melissa man dead, Connie.

434
00:24:17.880 --> 00:24:20.880
Melissa was fifteen, it is time. Benda is eight and

435
00:24:20.920 --> 00:24:24.799
Connie is six. So we went out there and had

436
00:24:24.799 --> 00:24:27.839
a nice visit seeing the baby, you know, did all

437
00:24:27.839 --> 00:24:30.920
that good stuff. It was about nine thirty, ten o'clock

438
00:24:30.960 --> 00:24:32.880
at night. We decided that we needed to head back

439
00:24:32.880 --> 00:24:35.880
home to Commerce, Uh, which is another town just on

440
00:24:35.920 --> 00:24:39.000
the other side of Qualpa wast in the same reservation.

441
00:24:41.240 --> 00:24:46.240
Driving back down the road, back country road, nothing spectacular,

442
00:24:46.359 --> 00:24:50.359
just a clear night driving down the road and me

443
00:24:50.359 --> 00:24:54.119
and the sister just having nice conversations, uh, talking about

444
00:24:54.160 --> 00:24:58.240
some baby. We get about three miles outside of that

445
00:24:58.279 --> 00:25:01.559
little town and I noticed something walking all along the

446
00:25:01.839 --> 00:25:04.799
edge of the road. Uh, on my on the on

447
00:25:04.839 --> 00:25:08.440
the opposite side of the road. We're heading north and

448
00:25:08.480 --> 00:25:11.519
he's walking the same direction. I look at my sister

449
00:25:11.559 --> 00:25:16.319
in the front seat once at the time, uh most

450
00:25:16.359 --> 00:25:18.079
of the time, and I said, it's off the lake

451
00:25:18.160 --> 00:25:20.839
to be walking with no kind of light or anything

452
00:25:20.920 --> 00:25:23.599
like that there just and she's like, yeah, yes, that's

453
00:25:23.640 --> 00:25:26.519
kind of weird. And you know, the two sisters in

454
00:25:26.519 --> 00:25:31.480
the backseat just having a oversation amongst and so uh

455
00:25:31.559 --> 00:25:35.359
we keep driving. Uh get about one hundred and fifty

456
00:25:35.359 --> 00:25:39.319
seat the silhouette just keeps getting bigger and bigger and bigger,

457
00:25:39.359 --> 00:25:41.640
and I'm like, am I seeing this? I look at

458
00:25:41.640 --> 00:25:43.559
my sister and I said, once, are you seeing the

459
00:25:43.559 --> 00:25:46.759
same thing I'm seeing. She's like, yeah, that's kind of weird.

460
00:25:46.799 --> 00:25:49.160
And I was like all right, So we uh proceeded

461
00:25:49.200 --> 00:25:51.960
to drive up. Like I said, it keeps getting bigger

462
00:25:51.960 --> 00:25:57.000
and bigger and bigger, and uh, it was just just

463
00:25:57.400 --> 00:25:59.799
it was breathtaking. The time we get we get about

464
00:26:00.079 --> 00:26:04.759
fifty to twenty five yards from this thing and it stands.

465
00:26:04.839 --> 00:26:07.880
It stood nine to ten feet tall and had and

466
00:26:08.000 --> 00:26:11.799
had dark brown fur, which was just completely baffling. And

467
00:26:11.880 --> 00:26:14.359
me and my sister are just both dumbfounded. By this

468
00:26:16.079 --> 00:26:17.839
what we're seeing and I'm like, are you seeing what

469
00:26:17.920 --> 00:26:20.680
I'm seeing? And she's like yeah. By this time, the

470
00:26:20.680 --> 00:26:22.759
two girls in the back feet are seeing this and

471
00:26:22.839 --> 00:26:24.599
they're starting to freak out. They don't know what they

472
00:26:24.599 --> 00:26:29.240
don't know what's going on, and they're they're losing their minds.

473
00:26:30.519 --> 00:26:33.839
We get a little bit closer and by this time

474
00:26:34.000 --> 00:26:36.880
I'm seeing this and I'm like, well, so this it

475
00:26:37.119 --> 00:26:39.319
what I think it is, and she's like yeah. And

476
00:26:39.440 --> 00:26:41.759
at this time, the girls, the two girls in the

477
00:26:41.759 --> 00:26:43.640
back feet are scream and don't stop, don't stop or

478
00:26:43.680 --> 00:26:51.160
any just keep going. And at this time, the headlights

479
00:26:51.200 --> 00:26:56.119
to the creature, it stops, literally stops, and we're driving

480
00:26:56.119 --> 00:26:59.240
probably five ten mile an hour, stops. The headlights can

481
00:26:59.240 --> 00:27:01.599
get on it. If an animal like a deer or something,

482
00:27:01.880 --> 00:27:04.119
you know, gets caught in headlights, all freeze and that's

483
00:27:04.160 --> 00:27:07.319
what's this thing done? That frozen the headlights, which was

484
00:27:07.359 --> 00:27:09.720
just kind of odd. And when the when the headlights froze,

485
00:27:10.039 --> 00:27:12.839
the eyes illuminated a yellow. It was just the weirdest

486
00:27:12.920 --> 00:27:15.920
yellow that I ever seen. And at this time, my

487
00:27:16.039 --> 00:27:18.440
sister's like, Ane, this is something I've never seen more

488
00:27:18.440 --> 00:27:20.039
And I'm like I know, well, it's just a bigfoot.

489
00:27:20.039 --> 00:27:24.480
And she's like it is and she's like, what do

490
00:27:24.559 --> 00:27:26.759
we do and I'm like, I don't know, and uh

491
00:27:27.759 --> 00:27:31.240
it it stops makes eye contact us with us for

492
00:27:31.279 --> 00:27:35.880
about ten fifteen seconds, I would say, made eye contact

493
00:27:35.880 --> 00:27:38.480
with us, literally looked at us like it was peering

494
00:27:38.480 --> 00:27:41.640
into my soul. And I'm like, this is crazy. And uh,

495
00:27:42.640 --> 00:27:45.400
just as nonchalantly as it uh was walking down the road,

496
00:27:45.440 --> 00:27:47.599
it just beard off to the left and walked down

497
00:27:47.640 --> 00:27:51.480
in the wilderness and mister woods and just appeared outside,

498
00:27:51.559 --> 00:27:54.240
which was just the which was the craziest thing I've

499
00:27:54.279 --> 00:27:57.880
ever seen. And at that point we're all freaking out,

500
00:27:57.920 --> 00:28:00.440
and the two sisters and my figure like if we

501
00:28:00.480 --> 00:28:02.720
just see a bigfoot now? I was like, yeah, we did,

502
00:28:02.880 --> 00:28:06.559
And and my sister Melissa the time, she was like

503
00:28:06.759 --> 00:28:09.359
this is this is crazy? And I was like yeah.

504
00:28:09.400 --> 00:28:12.240
And so we sped off and then got up out

505
00:28:12.279 --> 00:28:15.680
of that way, and then we came home and told

506
00:28:15.720 --> 00:28:19.079
our parents what was going on, and they're like, yeah,

507
00:28:19.240 --> 00:28:22.519
come on, guys, you know, and they pulled the two

508
00:28:22.559 --> 00:28:26.640
sisters aside and they shared the exact same story. And

509
00:28:26.680 --> 00:28:29.519
this should have been a story that we that we

510
00:28:29.599 --> 00:28:33.559
share on a regular basis. Unfortunately, my sister Melissa, who

511
00:28:34.079 --> 00:28:36.119
was fifteen at times, she passed away in twenty twenty

512
00:28:36.160 --> 00:28:39.119
three due to go to cancer. And one of the

513
00:28:39.200 --> 00:28:41.559
last things we talked about We've talked about going down

514
00:28:41.599 --> 00:28:44.559
to Hanobia down down in Tallahena where they have the

515
00:28:44.599 --> 00:28:47.920
Bigfoot Festival and life gotten away and we never got

516
00:28:47.920 --> 00:28:49.960
a chance. And one of the last things I promised

517
00:28:49.960 --> 00:28:52.720
her before she passed and I would continue to tear

518
00:28:52.799 --> 00:28:55.720
this to share the story of our encownmer and everything.

519
00:28:55.799 --> 00:28:59.519
And we me and the other the two sisters that

520
00:28:59.519 --> 00:29:01.559
are surviving, we're going to go down this year and

521
00:29:02.240 --> 00:29:05.599
try to tell the story and trying to continue to

522
00:29:06.599 --> 00:29:09.799
keep this story going so that other people can hear

523
00:29:09.880 --> 00:29:11.720
it and you know, maybe they'll come forward with their

524
00:29:11.759 --> 00:29:15.599
stories and be just more apt to speak about it.

525
00:29:18.359 --> 00:29:27.559
That is such a cool thing that you're doing. Yeah,

526
00:29:27.599 --> 00:29:29.720
that that that is really cool. I'm sorry that you

527
00:29:29.839 --> 00:29:30.640
lost your sister.

528
00:29:32.119 --> 00:29:34.599
It's all right, man. She uh she bought a hard battle,

529
00:29:34.599 --> 00:29:37.839
but he ended up winning in the end. So that's

530
00:29:37.920 --> 00:29:39.440
that's that's what gives us a little bit of peace.

531
00:29:40.960 --> 00:29:46.400
Yeah, I think she would. I think she's really happy

532
00:29:46.400 --> 00:29:50.960
that you're continuing to share that story, Do you mind

533
00:29:50.960 --> 00:29:53.680
if I ask you a few questions about what you're

534
00:29:53.720 --> 00:29:58.599
absolutely yeah, So what would you say, is the closest

535
00:29:58.720 --> 00:30:01.839
that you got to what you were seeing?

536
00:30:03.359 --> 00:30:07.680
What the closest I have gotten? The closest I have

537
00:30:07.799 --> 00:30:13.480
gotten would be the closest what I've seen. It's definitely, Uh,

538
00:30:14.640 --> 00:30:18.039
I haven't seen anything quite like what I've seen back then.

539
00:30:18.559 --> 00:30:21.599
I mean I've heard like different noises and things like that,

540
00:30:21.640 --> 00:30:24.680
which I can't draw a conclusion to whether it being

541
00:30:24.799 --> 00:30:27.680
that or not. But uh, the closest I've ever seen

542
00:30:27.720 --> 00:30:29.240
to it would be, you know, kind of like what

543
00:30:29.359 --> 00:30:31.799
you see on TV and TV shows the CGI and

544
00:30:31.920 --> 00:30:35.200
things unlike I Like I've told people that have seen

545
00:30:35.240 --> 00:30:37.519
that I share this story with, is like what you

546
00:30:37.559 --> 00:30:40.680
see on TV and the CGI that is almost like

547
00:30:40.839 --> 00:30:43.000
you can't describe it any better than what you see

548
00:30:43.039 --> 00:30:46.200
on TV from what I saw all those years ago,

549
00:30:46.519 --> 00:30:49.920
and that image is just steered into my mind that

550
00:30:50.279 --> 00:30:54.000
that it's just perfect, like wow, that actually what we're

551
00:30:54.000 --> 00:30:56.720
seeing on TV. What they what they're the artists renderings

552
00:30:56.720 --> 00:30:59.319
and things like that are just still uncanny to what

553
00:31:00.319 --> 00:31:03.240
they think it is toward in reality of what I saw,

554
00:31:03.440 --> 00:31:07.960
which was just which was mind blowing to me. I've

555
00:31:08.039 --> 00:31:11.680
never seen anything. I have never seen anything like that

556
00:31:12.039 --> 00:31:12.559
to this.

557
00:31:12.519 --> 00:31:15.519
Day, big for society. Who will be right back after

558
00:31:15.559 --> 00:31:38.880
these messages. Do you remember any specific features of the

559
00:31:39.000 --> 00:31:42.799
face or was it is it too dark to see anything?

560
00:31:43.680 --> 00:31:47.200
Well with the headlights and the headlights shining on it,

561
00:31:47.200 --> 00:31:50.640
it actually had like it had a human human futuristics

562
00:31:51.279 --> 00:31:56.279
of a human face. It was weathered and things like that.

563
00:31:56.400 --> 00:31:58.480
Like I said, the face was weathered. You can you

564
00:31:58.519 --> 00:32:00.240
can tell that it had been out in the the

565
00:32:00.680 --> 00:32:03.200
elements and things like that. You know, the skin was

566
00:32:03.279 --> 00:32:07.880
rough and dry, almost like a leatherish, just a lot

567
00:32:07.880 --> 00:32:12.160
of weathered lines and things and just kind of just

568
00:32:12.240 --> 00:32:15.240
kind of like weather worn and just like it worn

569
00:32:15.319 --> 00:32:17.960
down and just kind of had like the furrow around

570
00:32:18.000 --> 00:32:20.680
it and just kind of it wasn't the face wasn't

571
00:32:20.799 --> 00:32:24.039
very The face just had such a human had a

572
00:32:24.119 --> 00:32:26.720
human characteristics, but at the same time you knew it

573
00:32:26.759 --> 00:32:28.599
wasn't humans.

574
00:32:31.000 --> 00:32:33.640
Is what you saw? Would you say it was more

575
00:32:34.400 --> 00:32:37.240
something that looked ape like or maybe something that looked

576
00:32:37.279 --> 00:32:39.880
human like, or something completely different.

577
00:32:41.480 --> 00:32:43.920
Honestly, that's the question that we do that I get

578
00:32:44.000 --> 00:32:46.400
do you get asked a lot of times the uh,

579
00:32:47.519 --> 00:32:52.200
the body feature, the actual overall body structure. U. It

580
00:32:52.279 --> 00:32:56.039
had eight featuristics, but it also was had human characteristics.

581
00:32:56.079 --> 00:32:57.759
It was almost kind of like a like a half

582
00:32:57.799 --> 00:33:00.799
and half if I was to explain it. It had

583
00:33:00.839 --> 00:33:03.720
half human beaturistics. And when it was walking, it actually

584
00:33:03.759 --> 00:33:07.480
walked human like you know, obviously nine to ten feet tall,

585
00:33:07.519 --> 00:33:09.720
it you know, it kind of walked a little bit

586
00:33:09.759 --> 00:33:12.680
different than a normal human. It had the long strides

587
00:33:12.759 --> 00:33:16.319
and things like that in the arms flailing back and forth.

588
00:33:16.960 --> 00:33:20.119
But like I said, the actual the actual body structure

589
00:33:20.200 --> 00:33:22.519
was human, but it had the fur of an ape

590
00:33:22.519 --> 00:33:24.599
and had that kind of had had to build of

591
00:33:24.680 --> 00:33:27.799
a had the build of like a like a like

592
00:33:27.799 --> 00:33:28.799
a sizzle back guerrilla.

593
00:33:28.839 --> 00:33:36.519
Almost absolutely, do you remember anything if there was any

594
00:33:36.559 --> 00:33:39.480
emotion to the face at all that you saw there?

595
00:33:39.519 --> 00:33:41.680
Really, honestly, there was no emotion at all. It was

596
00:33:41.720 --> 00:33:43.400
just kind of like it kind of looked at me,

597
00:33:43.559 --> 00:33:45.960
kind of looked into the car, looked at it. It

598
00:33:46.000 --> 00:33:50.400
didn't like give this like any like aggressive fell any

599
00:33:50.400 --> 00:33:53.839
aggression towards it on his face or anything. It didn't.

600
00:33:54.519 --> 00:33:56.039
It's kind of one of those things that kind of

601
00:33:56.039 --> 00:33:59.240
like peered into our soul, look into us kind of like, hey,

602
00:33:59.359 --> 00:34:01.079
you guys are doing your thing, I'm going to do

603
00:34:01.119 --> 00:34:02.799
my thing. And he just kind of went off into

604
00:34:02.799 --> 00:34:06.720
the woods to wherever he went off into, and we

605
00:34:06.759 --> 00:34:09.320
went on about our went on about our day, and

606
00:34:09.440 --> 00:34:13.159
it was just kind of just kind of like, hey,

607
00:34:13.440 --> 00:34:16.079
you know, you know I exist, I know you exist,

608
00:34:16.239 --> 00:34:19.440
So let's just coexist a piece here. And we're like, Okay,

609
00:34:20.000 --> 00:34:22.440
we're not going to go out and bother with you.

610
00:34:22.440 --> 00:34:24.920
You're not going to bother with me. So, like I said,

611
00:34:24.920 --> 00:34:27.079
we just kind of drove on about our went on

612
00:34:27.159 --> 00:34:29.159
about our evening, and went on home for the night,

613
00:34:29.239 --> 00:34:31.239
and like I said, he didn't, like I said, show

614
00:34:31.320 --> 00:34:34.559
any like aggression or want to like try to attack

615
00:34:34.599 --> 00:34:36.840
the car or anything, and just kind of went off

616
00:34:36.840 --> 00:34:37.840
and did his own things.

617
00:34:38.880 --> 00:34:41.280
Do you remember if there was a certain shape to

618
00:34:41.320 --> 00:34:43.400
the head at all?

619
00:34:43.960 --> 00:34:44.519
Not really.

620
00:34:44.559 --> 00:34:47.000
I didn't quite notice that like a certain shape or

621
00:34:47.000 --> 00:34:49.599
anything that that kind of stood out. Just kind of,

622
00:34:50.159 --> 00:34:52.039
like I said, everything just kind of happened to a blur.

623
00:34:52.119 --> 00:34:53.840
I didn't want to like make it think like am

624
00:34:53.840 --> 00:34:56.480
I stroking out here or I'm like I know I

625
00:34:56.480 --> 00:34:59.360
didn't do any like psychedelic drugs or anything. I'm sixteen,

626
00:34:59.480 --> 00:35:02.119
so I don't what that stuff is. Just kind of

627
00:35:02.760 --> 00:35:04.639
just kind of like freaking out, and like I said,

628
00:35:04.840 --> 00:35:07.880
just kind of it was just you know, the experience

629
00:35:07.920 --> 00:35:10.920
overall shocked is uh. When the shop wore off, we

630
00:35:10.960 --> 00:35:13.639
actually kind of sat down in uh haard notes and everything,

631
00:35:13.679 --> 00:35:16.880
and like our stories just kind of kind of all

632
00:35:16.880 --> 00:35:20.159
coexisted and we just kind of all share the same story.

633
00:35:20.159 --> 00:35:21.719
But like I said, there was just nothing that I

634
00:35:21.760 --> 00:35:24.880
can that I can recall that that would give you

635
00:35:24.920 --> 00:35:28.199
a clear indication of what kind of characteristics that we've

636
00:35:28.199 --> 00:35:28.960
seen at that time.

637
00:35:29.400 --> 00:35:32.280
Absolutely did. Have you ever gone back to that area

638
00:35:33.079 --> 00:35:33.559
since then?

639
00:35:33.800 --> 00:35:36.639
Actually? Yeah, that actually the area where the actually the

640
00:35:36.679 --> 00:35:41.760
area where we're is. It's just on the outside of

641
00:35:41.760 --> 00:35:44.559
another town, and uh, we go through there quite often.

642
00:35:47.480 --> 00:35:50.119
I would say we probably go there to probably two

643
00:35:50.159 --> 00:35:53.000
or three times a week. Uh, Like I said, it's

644
00:35:53.000 --> 00:35:57.559
a just actually the actual location is i'd say probably

645
00:35:57.559 --> 00:36:01.519
three four miles from the well on Nation Palo Grounds

646
00:36:01.800 --> 00:36:04.840
where they actually hold their annual palow every year. So

647
00:36:04.920 --> 00:36:06.559
I mean, like I said, there's a lot of paranormal

648
00:36:06.639 --> 00:36:09.039
activity that goes on within this area. So it's just

649
00:36:09.119 --> 00:36:11.880
kind of like a lot of Native American legends and

650
00:36:12.000 --> 00:36:15.440
things that goes on at this in this in this

651
00:36:15.599 --> 00:36:16.760
region of that area.

652
00:36:18.400 --> 00:36:22.920
So and I always want to be careful when you've

653
00:36:22.960 --> 00:36:30.480
got things like that. Now, if there are stories in

654
00:36:30.519 --> 00:36:36.000
the area, are there stories that are not well, let

655
00:36:36.039 --> 00:36:39.599
me see, how do I want to say this? So

656
00:36:40.679 --> 00:36:43.559
I feel comfortable when there's stories and legends that are

657
00:36:43.599 --> 00:36:47.760
shared by the individual themselves, if if it's a Native

658
00:36:47.800 --> 00:36:52.440
American culture and history, but are there stories that are

659
00:36:52.519 --> 00:36:55.840
part of the culture there as well that are outside

660
00:36:55.840 --> 00:36:57.719
of the Native American culture.

661
00:36:59.159 --> 00:36:59.320
Uh?

662
00:36:59.679 --> 00:37:03.280
Yeah, Yeah, there's a little bit. There's a little bit

663
00:37:03.280 --> 00:37:08.480
of stories. I mean, they have what in the last

664
00:37:08.480 --> 00:37:10.599
episode that you spoke to the lady who hear about

665
00:37:10.599 --> 00:37:14.000
Grand Lake area, she mentioned little people. She had a

666
00:37:14.000 --> 00:37:16.119
different name for what we call them little people up here,

667
00:37:16.480 --> 00:37:20.280
and you know, they kind of they kind of like

668
00:37:20.320 --> 00:37:22.159
she said, they kind of trigger and do things high

669
00:37:22.159 --> 00:37:24.960
things and do whatever. I mean, that's kind of like

670
00:37:25.079 --> 00:37:27.239
one of the only stories. But a lot of the

671
00:37:27.400 --> 00:37:30.280
a lot of the stories that are that we're shared

672
00:37:30.320 --> 00:37:32.840
around here are kind of like passed down in through

673
00:37:32.840 --> 00:37:36.480
the from the Native Americans into the non native culture.

674
00:37:36.559 --> 00:37:38.440
So I mean, and it's kind of like you kind

675
00:37:38.440 --> 00:37:41.280
of like you have the Dear Lady, the Dear Lady.

676
00:37:41.320 --> 00:37:42.800
But one of the big things that we are known

677
00:37:42.840 --> 00:37:45.039
for here in this area, it would be the hornet

678
00:37:45.119 --> 00:37:46.760
spook light. I don't know if you've heard of that,

679
00:37:46.840 --> 00:37:50.639
but yeah, yes, uh, that area where we saw the

680
00:37:50.960 --> 00:37:54.000
Bigfoot is actually like I would say, probably five miles

681
00:37:54.000 --> 00:37:58.360
from the spook light from that area. Really, yes, oh yes, absolutely,

682
00:37:58.719 --> 00:38:01.679
oh wow. I've actually seen that spook light a couple

683
00:38:01.719 --> 00:38:05.360
of times. So that is one of those things in

684
00:38:05.360 --> 00:38:09.800
that area, which is within that Devil's Hollow, that Devil's Hollow,

685
00:38:09.840 --> 00:38:13.119
Devil's Promenade area, So that hornet spook light, like I said,

686
00:38:13.199 --> 00:38:16.760
is about five miles from that. That is the main

687
00:38:16.840 --> 00:38:21.079
story that resonates through the non natives within this area.

688
00:38:21.639 --> 00:38:24.679
Now, why is that area called Devil's Hollow.

689
00:38:26.320 --> 00:38:28.639
There was a lot of Satanic activity that happened, you know,

690
00:38:28.760 --> 00:38:32.280
during the Satanic Uh, the Satanic Uh, the Satanic scare

691
00:38:32.280 --> 00:38:33.960
of the late eighties early ninety A lot of the

692
00:38:33.960 --> 00:38:37.360
people and a lot of that played into it. But

693
00:38:37.559 --> 00:38:40.960
a lot of it is the native words. Whenever it

694
00:38:41.119 --> 00:38:45.760
translated into English translated to like devil or whatever they

695
00:38:45.840 --> 00:38:50.199
kind of or whatever word that they kind of used

696
00:38:50.239 --> 00:38:52.320
for an evil spirit.

697
00:38:54.880 --> 00:39:00.119
That's interesting. That would probably be an interesting study to

698
00:39:00.119 --> 00:39:05.519
to on the words of Yeah, location words of that

699
00:39:05.639 --> 00:39:10.599
area sometimes yeah, well we'll just leave it there. But

700
00:39:11.440 --> 00:39:16.440
some listeners know know what I'm talking about. There's some

701
00:39:16.480 --> 00:39:20.239
words that you find repeated in locations across the US.

702
00:39:20.280 --> 00:39:23.840
And Henry Franzoni did a really good wrote a really

703
00:39:23.840 --> 00:39:29.159
good book on that different maybe Bigfoot related words.

704
00:39:30.039 --> 00:39:33.760
But I haven't heard that, but I'll have to look

705
00:39:33.800 --> 00:39:36.400
into that. Yeah, Like I said, this area actually like

706
00:39:37.440 --> 00:39:40.559
just to mention at home of five Native American tribes.

707
00:39:40.800 --> 00:39:44.679
Oh wow, uh five different, five different tribes. You've got

708
00:39:44.679 --> 00:39:47.079
the Clapballs, You've got to Senecer's, You've got to Autowaws,

709
00:39:47.440 --> 00:39:52.800
You've got the Purias. You've got and the Cherokees. But

710
00:39:52.840 --> 00:39:57.280
the Cherokees headquarters are located in uh plack Wall, which

711
00:39:57.320 --> 00:39:59.679
is like an hour and a half from where I'm at.

712
00:40:00.199 --> 00:40:02.719
But like I said, our tribes are more of the

713
00:40:02.760 --> 00:40:07.079
Peoria tribe, the Miamas, the claw Falls and things like that.

714
00:40:07.239 --> 00:40:10.840
So a lot of that culture is ingrained, which which

715
00:40:10.880 --> 00:40:14.039
is weird. I mean, we're my family is a little

716
00:40:14.079 --> 00:40:18.000
Native American, but we're not of the tribals from around

717
00:40:18.039 --> 00:40:21.079
here where Shoshoney from out west, and we don't actually

718
00:40:21.079 --> 00:40:24.800
have quite we don't actually quite have that that kind

719
00:40:24.840 --> 00:40:27.920
of story is to this area. But what's crazy is that,

720
00:40:28.039 --> 00:40:32.679
like me and my three sisters, we had an experience.

721
00:40:32.760 --> 00:40:34.960
And then my mom and dad they moved down down

722
00:40:35.039 --> 00:40:37.280
to the Grand Lake area, to the town of Windott,

723
00:40:37.280 --> 00:40:40.320
which is another Native American tribe that is here and

724
00:40:40.559 --> 00:40:42.960
they live off in the woods. And when my mom

725
00:40:42.960 --> 00:40:44.920
and dad moved out here about ten years ago, he

726
00:40:45.880 --> 00:40:48.039
actually came across the big foot that he saw standing

727
00:40:48.039 --> 00:40:51.199
in the road and it just scared him. And, like

728
00:40:51.239 --> 00:40:54.000
I said, he's a truck driver, so he's seen all

729
00:40:54.079 --> 00:40:56.480
kind of crazy things, and he said it was just

730
00:40:56.559 --> 00:41:00.920
the craziest thing he'd ever experienced. And my eight year

731
00:41:00.960 --> 00:41:03.280
old nephew, who lets you go outside and shoot baby

732
00:41:03.320 --> 00:41:07.119
guns and take pop shots at cans, he went outside

733
00:41:07.119 --> 00:41:09.719
and was shooting one day and I think my mom

734
00:41:09.719 --> 00:41:11.840
had told me She's like, he came back inside after

735
00:41:11.840 --> 00:41:14.440
about five minutes and he's like me, moll, He's like, well,

736
00:41:14.440 --> 00:41:17.159
he got something bad out there, and she was like, oh,

737
00:41:17.239 --> 00:41:19.960
in an eight year old over imagine it over over

738
00:41:20.079 --> 00:41:23.679
zells imagination and she's like, Okay, what is it? And

739
00:41:23.719 --> 00:41:26.880
she's like, He's like, there's a monthy man out there, meanwhall.

740
00:41:27.239 --> 00:41:29.679
And then they were flipping through channels on the on

741
00:41:29.719 --> 00:41:32.559
the satellite and they came across the Bigfoot show and

742
00:41:33.239 --> 00:41:35.239
with the story and everything, they kind of just kind

743
00:41:35.239 --> 00:41:38.559
of stop and take a listen to it. And my

744
00:41:38.599 --> 00:41:40.880
nephew just have me walking in the room and he's meanwhile,

745
00:41:40.880 --> 00:41:43.719
that's what I saw out there in the woods. And

746
00:41:44.119 --> 00:41:47.639
so so the connection, kind of the connection of Bigfoot

747
00:41:47.679 --> 00:41:51.880
actually kind of runs deep into the deep within my family.

748
00:41:51.920 --> 00:41:55.320
So we have actually seen multiple family members have actually

749
00:41:55.679 --> 00:41:58.800
experienced a bigfoot. And then in that same area from

750
00:41:59.199 --> 00:42:03.360
the Devil's Tom and a maid, my cousin who her

751
00:42:03.480 --> 00:42:07.039
brother that had the baby back in the twenty years ago,

752
00:42:07.400 --> 00:42:10.280
he'd actually came across one at the at the state

753
00:42:10.360 --> 00:42:13.039
park at the bridge and he talked about the story

754
00:42:13.079 --> 00:42:14.679
about how it just jumped off the bridge into the

755
00:42:14.679 --> 00:42:16.079
water and started swimming down the river.

756
00:42:19.199 --> 00:42:21.880
Oh man, what uh what state park was that?

757
00:42:23.679 --> 00:42:26.360
Well, some state I wouldn't necessarily say this, it was

758
00:42:26.400 --> 00:42:30.039
called Bicentennial State Park at the time, and it closed

759
00:42:30.079 --> 00:42:34.000
down in around eighty five eighty eight, So it's just

760
00:42:34.119 --> 00:42:37.480
kind of we call it a Devil's from an age park.

761
00:42:38.840 --> 00:42:40.400
It's at the Spring River, just right there by the

762
00:42:40.400 --> 00:42:41.480
Indian pala Grounds.

763
00:42:41.840 --> 00:42:46.920
Sure is this area, let's say this commerce area, is

764
00:42:47.000 --> 00:42:51.360
it known for a lot of Bigfoot related activity or not?

765
00:42:51.599 --> 00:42:54.440
Really? The commerce area where I'm at is actually more

766
00:42:54.480 --> 00:42:59.159
of a more of a city. It's more of a

767
00:42:59.440 --> 00:43:01.679
I wouldn't say urban area, but it is more Uh,

768
00:43:02.239 --> 00:43:05.199
it's not rule so to speak. We're we're we're closer

769
00:43:05.199 --> 00:43:07.880
to the town of Miama, which has about has about

770
00:43:07.880 --> 00:43:10.679
fourteen thousand people. The area where we saw the Bigfoot,

771
00:43:10.719 --> 00:43:13.480
you know, has a population of like eight hundred, So

772
00:43:13.559 --> 00:43:17.320
it's more rural and uh, backwoods and a lot of

773
00:43:17.320 --> 00:43:18.119
wooded area.

774
00:43:20.800 --> 00:43:25.519
Gotcha, how has this affected you since you had that sighting.

775
00:43:26.119 --> 00:43:28.400
Since I've had this siding? Man, it's just kind of

776
00:43:28.440 --> 00:43:30.199
like I said, I try to think things logically, like

777
00:43:30.199 --> 00:43:32.320
I said, as a pursuing a career and the law,

778
00:43:32.400 --> 00:43:35.440
so I mean, you got to think logically, and everything

779
00:43:35.480 --> 00:43:37.920
has what happens for a reason. And from from that

780
00:43:38.039 --> 00:43:40.800
day forward, I have just consumed as much big Foot

781
00:43:40.800 --> 00:43:44.760
content crypted, uh crypted inative American legends, just kind of

782
00:43:44.880 --> 00:43:48.199
like as much as I can consume, and uh just

783
00:43:48.239 --> 00:43:50.199
try to get it, try to get a deeper understanding

784
00:43:50.239 --> 00:43:52.880
of what what I actually saw. It's kind of like

785
00:43:52.920 --> 00:43:55.880
one of those things. It's kind of like, I'm I'm

786
00:43:55.920 --> 00:43:58.920
firmly a believer. My three sisters of my sisters that

787
00:43:58.960 --> 00:44:01.480
are still alive are still are firmly believers, and my

788
00:44:01.559 --> 00:44:04.280
sister who passed is was a firm a firm believer

789
00:44:04.400 --> 00:44:07.880
as well. And uh, we just kind of uh consumed

790
00:44:07.920 --> 00:44:11.760
as much content as we could. And I worked graveyards

791
00:44:11.760 --> 00:44:14.480
at a at a local at a local manufacturing facility,

792
00:44:14.519 --> 00:44:18.400
and uncessali was going on my mind and the Bigfoot story.

793
00:44:18.519 --> 00:44:20.519
Somebody was talking about bigfoot work and I was just like,

794
00:44:20.639 --> 00:44:22.519
you know, I need to get back into that and

795
00:44:22.639 --> 00:44:25.360
start telling the stories. And I got on and started

796
00:44:25.360 --> 00:44:28.599
searching podcast. I came across your podcast and uh and

797
00:44:28.679 --> 00:44:31.199
another one, and I started listening and everything, and I'm like, man,

798
00:44:31.239 --> 00:44:33.079
I'm want to reach out to these guys and kind

799
00:44:33.079 --> 00:44:38.559
of share my story and uh see what they think.

800
00:44:38.800 --> 00:44:41.599
But another thing that we did a few years ago

801
00:44:41.599 --> 00:44:44.559
before she passed away, she encouraged me to share the story.

802
00:44:44.599 --> 00:44:46.679
And I had actually reached out to the BFRO out

803
00:44:46.719 --> 00:44:50.239
of Kansas City and shared my story with them, and

804
00:44:50.280 --> 00:44:54.599
they actually, uh had an investigator, Carter from Kansas City

805
00:44:54.719 --> 00:44:57.880
had actually reached out and did an interview with me,

806
00:44:58.000 --> 00:44:59.760
and uh we talked about it for a little bit

807
00:44:59.840 --> 00:45:03.400
and they published that siding on their on their website

808
00:45:03.400 --> 00:45:06.480
and it's logged into the VFRO as a Class A siding,

809
00:45:06.519 --> 00:45:09.000
which they consider that one of their more they're more

810
00:45:09.000 --> 00:45:12.639
credible sidings with it having multiple people. So, I mean,

811
00:45:12.960 --> 00:45:18.199
the story is, it's out there. But this was before

812
00:45:18.239 --> 00:45:21.400
the podcast ways, so before people started consuming more and

813
00:45:21.480 --> 00:45:24.400
more content. So, like I said, it was just one

814
00:45:24.440 --> 00:45:26.159
of those things that was laying on this time and

815
00:45:26.360 --> 00:45:28.039
I wanted to get my sister's story out there to

816
00:45:28.119 --> 00:45:30.880
keep her memory alive as well. And like I said,

817
00:45:30.880 --> 00:45:33.079
I just reached out to you guys, and you guys

818
00:45:33.079 --> 00:45:35.000
seem to be interested in the story, and I just

819
00:45:35.039 --> 00:45:36.840
wanted to share it, and it was just kind of

820
00:45:37.599 --> 00:45:39.840
I just want to I want to let people know

821
00:45:39.880 --> 00:45:42.559
that that there are things out there in this world

822
00:45:42.639 --> 00:45:46.079
that we don't know. There's a lot of things out

823
00:45:46.119 --> 00:45:51.360
there that we do not know exist, but they do exist.

824
00:45:51.599 --> 00:45:54.920
Big for society, who will be right back after these messages.

825
00:46:10.480 --> 00:46:14.840
It's just when and where are we going to uh

826
00:46:15.239 --> 00:46:18.559
come across that? Whenever are we gonna when are we

827
00:46:18.639 --> 00:46:20.800
going to actually when is our technology going to catch

828
00:46:20.880 --> 00:46:24.800
up to give us a give us a concrete signing

829
00:46:24.800 --> 00:46:26.320
of big foot? When are we going to come across

830
00:46:26.320 --> 00:46:31.159
a body or actually somebody capturing big Foot or kills

831
00:46:31.199 --> 00:46:32.719
it while it's out in the wilder and it's hunting

832
00:46:32.760 --> 00:46:35.320
at the same time. So it just kind of it's

833
00:46:35.400 --> 00:46:37.960
just kind of crazy. And like I told other people,

834
00:46:38.239 --> 00:46:40.679
I do believe if something happens, I do believe that

835
00:46:40.719 --> 00:46:44.599
Bigfoot is kind of that missing link between the proverbial

836
00:46:44.639 --> 00:46:46.559
missing link that everyone talks about. I think that is

837
00:46:46.559 --> 00:46:50.840
our missing link to humans and primates. That's the that's

838
00:46:50.880 --> 00:46:53.679
that link that we're trying to that they're they're trying

839
00:46:53.679 --> 00:46:58.960
to discover and with the and like I like, I

840
00:46:59.039 --> 00:47:00.719
like when it comes to hunt and things like that,

841
00:47:00.800 --> 00:47:02.719
I do want to if you said I want to

842
00:47:02.719 --> 00:47:05.440
go hunting, hunting a man or an animal, I want

843
00:47:05.440 --> 00:47:06.679
to tell you I want to hunt a man. Twice

844
00:47:06.679 --> 00:47:09.400
on Sunday and every day on the week because a

845
00:47:09.440 --> 00:47:12.360
man has tendencies and you kind of can track and

846
00:47:14.119 --> 00:47:17.800
we follow a set pattern. But with that an animal,

847
00:47:17.840 --> 00:47:20.639
you know, they're they're unpredictable. So what I think makes

848
00:47:20.679 --> 00:47:22.960
that makes a bigfoot or a sasquatch so different is

849
00:47:23.000 --> 00:47:26.400
that it can it can relay on human tech tendencies

850
00:47:26.400 --> 00:47:28.519
and it can relay on an animal tendency to where

851
00:47:28.960 --> 00:47:33.199
it kind of deceives, kind of deceives us and just

852
00:47:33.280 --> 00:47:36.039
kind of makes it and stays within that shadow realm

853
00:47:36.079 --> 00:47:38.559
to where we're not quite we're almost there, but we're

854
00:47:38.599 --> 00:47:40.480
not there yet exactly.

855
00:47:40.559 --> 00:47:46.159
And it's just the intelligence that's reported is so interesting.

856
00:47:47.159 --> 00:47:50.480
It is it's crazy with the intelligence. I mean, like

857
00:47:50.519 --> 00:47:52.880
I said, I haven't actually heard like knockings or anything

858
00:47:53.039 --> 00:47:55.639
or rocks being thrown, but like my mom has heard

859
00:47:55.679 --> 00:47:59.679
the knockings and things like that, and everyone in my

860
00:47:59.679 --> 00:48:05.360
family now our firm believers in in the actual the Bigfoot.

861
00:48:05.480 --> 00:48:07.920
So I mean it's not like I do have friends

862
00:48:07.920 --> 00:48:09.920
that are like, hey, you've got a third eye when

863
00:48:09.960 --> 00:48:12.440
I should have told the story. But at the same time,

864
00:48:12.519 --> 00:48:15.119
I mean they actually haven't had the experience to where

865
00:48:15.960 --> 00:48:17.719
they've had the experience to where they've seen it. So

866
00:48:17.760 --> 00:48:21.400
they don't know, and they're they're going by their logical

867
00:48:21.440 --> 00:48:24.280
thinking to where this doesn't exist, because we don't have

868
00:48:24.360 --> 00:48:27.960
evidence to show us that they do exist. So they're

869
00:48:28.000 --> 00:48:31.360
looking at it from a pure, purely scientific standpoint.

870
00:48:32.360 --> 00:48:36.360
Exactly. And you know, that'll be interesting. I think that,

871
00:48:38.079 --> 00:48:43.519
especially with all your AI video and and things like that,

872
00:48:43.639 --> 00:48:49.880
it will take something extremely substantial to prove to oh absolutely,

873
00:48:50.760 --> 00:48:55.119
we're way just the point where anyone can throw out

874
00:48:55.199 --> 00:48:57.519
a video and it'd be like, oh yeah, that's enough. No,

875
00:48:57.760 --> 00:49:00.000
it's it's not enough anymore.

876
00:49:00.199 --> 00:49:01.960
Man. It's just like I said, it was just one

877
00:49:02.000 --> 00:49:04.119
of the weirdest times. Like I said, it's just so

878
00:49:04.199 --> 00:49:09.000
weird of how something that can happened so many years ago.

879
00:49:09.159 --> 00:49:11.880
We're going on the actually next month will be the

880
00:49:11.920 --> 00:49:15.039
twenty five years of that of that experience, so I

881
00:49:15.039 --> 00:49:17.480
mean the silver anniversary of it. So I mean, it's

882
00:49:17.519 --> 00:49:19.559
just crazy to think that twenty five years ago something

883
00:49:19.599 --> 00:49:23.880
like that actually happened, and and and it's still ways

884
00:49:23.880 --> 00:49:27.119
so fresh on my mind, like it happened yesterday. And uh,

885
00:49:27.400 --> 00:49:29.440
like I said, it's just a story that we would

886
00:49:29.440 --> 00:49:32.719
always still come up and we would, we would share

887
00:49:32.760 --> 00:49:35.159
it and uh, like I said, whenever my sister was

888
00:49:35.159 --> 00:49:37.440
on hospice and everything, and before she went non verbal,

889
00:49:37.639 --> 00:49:38.800
it would be one of the one of the last

890
00:49:38.800 --> 00:49:41.519
stories that we talked about. It was how she wanted,

891
00:49:41.599 --> 00:49:43.199
like I said, to get that story back out there

892
00:49:43.239 --> 00:49:45.920
and to release it to the to release it to

893
00:49:45.960 --> 00:49:48.679
the people that are interested in it and want to

894
00:49:48.760 --> 00:49:50.960
go out and take a try to find the big

895
00:49:50.960 --> 00:49:53.559
Foot and try to try to determine that link between

896
00:49:53.639 --> 00:49:56.800
what going on and what's not. So I mean, it's

897
00:49:56.840 --> 00:49:59.719
just kind of a weird, kind of a weird situation

898
00:49:59.840 --> 00:50:02.760
and it's just just fascinating to me. Like I said,

899
00:50:02.760 --> 00:50:07.199
I just consumed as much cryptic content as as I can.

900
00:50:07.239 --> 00:50:10.639
And Oklahoma is actually the whole state of Oklahoma is

901
00:50:10.679 --> 00:50:15.559
just a hotbed for cryptid activity within the whole state,

902
00:50:15.639 --> 00:50:19.199
from southeast Oklahoma to northeast Oklahoma out west to the Panhandle.

903
00:50:19.320 --> 00:50:23.079
And it's just crazy of all the stories of just

904
00:50:23.159 --> 00:50:26.320
kind of like different things Native American, Native American folk

905
00:50:26.559 --> 00:50:30.360
or just there's just just something weird that goes on

906
00:50:30.440 --> 00:50:32.800
here in Oklahoma that's just kind of hard hard to

907
00:50:32.800 --> 00:50:33.559
put a finger on.

908
00:50:34.840 --> 00:50:38.239
You know, you're You're absolutely right. I mean the stories,

909
00:50:38.440 --> 00:50:42.920
the accounts I get from not just Southeast, but I

910
00:50:42.960 --> 00:50:46.440
mean there's is not just bigfoot in the state either.

911
00:50:46.599 --> 00:50:51.039
There's plenty of dog man reports. You've already mentioned the

912
00:50:51.039 --> 00:50:54.159
little people reports that were in the other episode, and

913
00:50:54.159 --> 00:50:58.000
it's just it's like, what is going on down there?

914
00:50:58.400 --> 00:51:01.519
I have no idea. When you mentioned a dog man

915
00:51:01.559 --> 00:51:03.559
in that last episode, that is something that I had

916
00:51:03.639 --> 00:51:08.000
actually never never even heard of and in the state

917
00:51:08.000 --> 00:51:10.599
of Oklahoma, which that doesn't mean that it doesn't exist.

918
00:51:10.719 --> 00:51:14.400
It's just something that I had actually never something that

919
00:51:14.440 --> 00:51:18.119
I had never heard or had had passed down And

920
00:51:18.239 --> 00:51:20.400
when I I and after listening to you mentioned in

921
00:51:20.440 --> 00:51:21.719
the dog Man, I kind of did a little bit

922
00:51:21.719 --> 00:51:24.039
of research into it, and I noticed that that was

923
00:51:24.079 --> 00:51:26.519
more like a Michigan, Wisconsin kind of thing. But that

924
00:51:26.559 --> 00:51:28.920
doesn't mean to say that they don't kind of like

925
00:51:30.199 --> 00:51:34.159
listen more more down this way, more kind of like

926
00:51:34.280 --> 00:51:36.440
what we got, we get more like like a Cherokee

927
00:51:36.480 --> 00:51:38.880
devil or something kind of like that, kind of like

928
00:51:39.159 --> 00:51:43.800
I know, the crazy show Mountain Monsters had to they're fectitionalized.

929
00:51:44.360 --> 00:51:47.719
Episode of the Cherokee Monster has nothing to do with

930
00:51:47.760 --> 00:51:51.480
the actual legend of how it is around here. We

931
00:51:51.559 --> 00:51:55.719
actually before coming on, a friend of mine actually shared

932
00:51:55.719 --> 00:51:59.199
something to my Facebook page talking about how the actual

933
00:51:59.280 --> 00:52:02.880
Cherokees back in the eighteen hundreds and whenever they first

934
00:52:02.880 --> 00:52:07.119
moved here actually had killed a bigfoot and actually they

935
00:52:07.119 --> 00:52:10.119
had got into a battle with bigfoots and killed killing one.

936
00:52:10.199 --> 00:52:12.760
But I mean, there's no substantiated report to it. It's

937
00:52:12.800 --> 00:52:17.719
just just kind of like how a legend has passed down.

938
00:52:17.760 --> 00:52:22.760
But discussing it with another bigfoot researcher out in Washington,

939
00:52:23.239 --> 00:52:26.400
he had mentioned that that he thinks it's more of

940
00:52:26.440 --> 00:52:29.920
a like a giant, that there's a legend of giants,

941
00:52:29.960 --> 00:52:32.719
and we kind of come to the conclusion that was

942
00:52:32.760 --> 00:52:36.320
probably more of a killing like a like like a giant,

943
00:52:36.360 --> 00:52:36.920
so to speak.

944
00:52:40.039 --> 00:52:46.159
It's very very interesting. I think, I don't know, there's

945
00:52:46.199 --> 00:52:50.840
definitely a very very strong, you know, Native American presence

946
00:52:51.480 --> 00:52:55.079
to that state that may very well have something to

947
00:52:55.119 --> 00:52:57.840
do with it. But I mean, you also get down

948
00:52:57.880 --> 00:53:02.239
to southeast Oklahoma and you have the the Washta National Forest,

949
00:53:02.280 --> 00:53:05.920
which is just so I want to say, maybe even

950
00:53:05.960 --> 00:53:09.639
a million acres. It is a large, large piece of it's.

951
00:53:09.440 --> 00:53:12.559
Massive, it's massive, It spreads a long ways.

952
00:53:12.880 --> 00:53:15.480
There are things, I mean, there are places in there

953
00:53:15.480 --> 00:53:17.800
that have probably never been stepped foot in.

954
00:53:18.920 --> 00:53:24.519
Oh, absolutely, val you know, absolutely absolutely.

955
00:53:24.079 --> 00:53:27.679
Not surprising that there could be things down there that

956
00:53:29.000 --> 00:53:32.440
are hard, are hard to see, or that have never

957
00:53:32.880 --> 00:53:35.239
had contact with humans before. Who knows.

958
00:53:35.920 --> 00:53:39.719
Absolutely that's exactly that's exactly right, And that's that's the problem.

959
00:53:39.760 --> 00:53:43.119
There is just so much of our I do believe

960
00:53:43.119 --> 00:53:46.639
that there's so much of our of our physical our

961
00:53:46.679 --> 00:53:50.079
physical earth and things that we actually haven't discovered. Kind

962
00:53:50.079 --> 00:53:52.199
of like to like the depth of the ocean. I mean,

963
00:53:52.280 --> 00:53:54.039
I think I read somewhere where it was like less

964
00:53:54.039 --> 00:53:56.239
than five percent of the actual ocean has been discovered.

965
00:53:57.400 --> 00:54:01.719
I say that our actual land mass is probably you're

966
00:54:01.760 --> 00:54:03.519
going to be within that scope of things too, kind

967
00:54:03.519 --> 00:54:06.960
of like an the Amazon, that there's Amazon rainforest, there's

968
00:54:07.000 --> 00:54:09.840
places that have never never seen that human has never

969
00:54:09.880 --> 00:54:12.440
been into. And I do think that there's good, like

970
00:54:12.480 --> 00:54:15.039
you said, down there in southeast Oklahoma, so that there's

971
00:54:15.119 --> 00:54:19.360
niggers that have that have never been set foot in

972
00:54:19.440 --> 00:54:22.400
by by humans. So it's it's just a it's just

973
00:54:22.440 --> 00:54:26.960
a weird kind of kind of thing, and it's just uh,

974
00:54:27.280 --> 00:54:30.400
just kind of a just a random coincidence, and like

975
00:54:30.440 --> 00:54:32.480
I said, it's just kind of where where we're at

976
00:54:32.519 --> 00:54:34.679
with the like I said, that Spooklight and everything, it's

977
00:54:34.719 --> 00:54:36.880
just kind of we get people from all over the

978
00:54:36.880 --> 00:54:38.880
country coming out here to take a look at the Spooklighter,

979
00:54:39.280 --> 00:54:41.519
to try to see it, to try to understand what

980
00:54:41.639 --> 00:54:44.400
it actually is. And it's just kind of crazy to

981
00:54:44.440 --> 00:54:47.960
me that people actually like you and the other gentleman

982
00:54:48.000 --> 00:54:50.360
I spoke with, actually heard about the Spooklight and have

983
00:54:50.400 --> 00:54:54.159
actually done research into it. And it just baffles me

984
00:54:54.199 --> 00:54:57.039
to where our our small little map dot here and

985
00:54:57.239 --> 00:55:02.000
uh Oklahoma actually gets the attention of the greater United

986
00:55:02.000 --> 00:55:03.679
States and the world at the same time.

987
00:55:04.480 --> 00:55:08.239
Absolutely, Ernie, I just want to say thank you for

988
00:55:09.039 --> 00:55:12.679
reaching out and for you know, coming on to share

989
00:55:13.039 --> 00:55:17.760
in Also, you know, a great tribute to your your

990
00:55:17.800 --> 00:55:20.840
sister as well, and I hope you're able to share

991
00:55:20.880 --> 00:55:25.719
that down and oh no, be this this coming October.

992
00:55:27.320 --> 00:55:29.400
We I sure do appreciate you taking the time to

993
00:55:29.400 --> 00:55:32.239
reach out and having me on the show, man, and

994
00:55:32.480 --> 00:55:34.480
I look forward to catching up with the episodes man.

995
00:55:35.079 --> 00:55:38.079
Like I said, Spotify has been a lifesaver and discovered

996
00:55:38.079 --> 00:55:39.960
your podcast and I have just fell in love with

997
00:55:40.039 --> 00:55:42.800
it and what I enjoyed listening to the stories because

998
00:55:42.840 --> 00:55:44.960
like I said, they just kind of give me that

999
00:55:45.079 --> 00:55:46.880
link and try to consume more and more and gain

1000
00:55:46.920 --> 00:55:50.679
more knowledge of what of what I'm trying to understand

1001
00:55:50.760 --> 00:55:55.159
to try to like educate other people to what is

1002
00:55:55.199 --> 00:55:57.639
actually out there to where you know, you've got to

1003
00:55:57.639 --> 00:55:59.519
have a little bit of faith and you got to

1004
00:55:59.519 --> 00:56:02.079
have a little bit faye, to put yourself out there

1005
00:56:02.119 --> 00:56:05.400
to try to try to understand what because there is

1006
00:56:05.400 --> 00:56:07.559
a there is a there is a bridge between the

1007
00:56:07.639 --> 00:56:11.360
human life and we're in the Native Americans, they will

1008
00:56:11.519 --> 00:56:13.880
be afterlife. I do believe that there is a there

1009
00:56:13.920 --> 00:56:15.800
is a bridge in between there that does need to

1010
00:56:15.800 --> 00:56:18.039
be explored. And like I said, I just want to

1011
00:56:18.039 --> 00:56:20.679
thank you for having me on and look forward to

1012
00:56:20.679 --> 00:56:23.159
hearing more. And uh, like I said, I've got people

1013
00:56:23.199 --> 00:56:27.599
here that are anxiously waiting for this episode to drop

1014
00:56:27.639 --> 00:56:29.519
whenever it drops, so we can get it shared, to

1015
00:56:29.760 --> 00:56:32.760
get it shared and get more people here in the

1016
00:56:32.920 --> 00:56:36.239
tales of what's going on with the work that you're doing.

1017
00:56:36.280 --> 00:56:38.280
And like I said, I want to thank you for

1018
00:56:38.320 --> 00:56:40.559
the work that you do and the concentr you put

1019
00:56:40.559 --> 00:56:42.199
it out to get out there, to get these words

1020
00:56:42.199 --> 00:56:46.000
out and listening to people like me who people think

1021
00:56:46.039 --> 00:56:46.760
that we're crazy.

1022
00:56:48.000 --> 00:56:51.400
