00 You're listening to Bigla Society, and I'm Jeremiah Byron. In this show, we go beyond the campfire stories to bring you first hand encounters from people who say they've seen something impossible. From backwoods trails and remote mountain haulers to quiet farms and crowded highways. The stories come from everywhere, and each one leaves us with more questions than answers. These are the voices of the people who've lived it. To settle in, because today you'll hear another account that just might change the way you see the woods forever. So stay with us. Hey, Kevin, how are you. Hey, I'm doing good, doing good? Hey, you have good? Have we talked before? Yeah? Maybe a year ago?

40 A year ago? Okay? Cool? Awesome? Hey, Well, thanks for coming up and for being willing to share your story. Also, sometimes I use audio from conversations on this platform for the podcast that I have. Would that be all right if I potentially do that? Yes, sir, sir? Cool. Well, y'all feel free to share what happened down in Alabama there. Well, long story short, I had a buddy that was going to Bankhead kind of for fun and to relax, and he started coming across weird things and weird lights, weird sounds, and he invited me out there and we encountered a gray bigfoot in about twenty fifteen at the campground there in Bankhead.

32 Oh man, that that's wild. How big was it? It's at least eight foot eight nine ten. It's it's all a pretty wild adventure. Uh, it was. It was gray, very it was. It was so fast, you know. That's that's that's one thing that tells me that it's not of not of this earth. How quick it was. It was there one minute gone, just seemed like no time. Hm. Hm. Was it a thing where you were hiking along and you saw it or just came into your campsite or what? What was the story there? We were at the campground, just kind of hanging out, kind of something we do on a regular basis. We've found that like going into the woods looking for bigfoot does didn't seem to work for us. It seemed like if we would go to the campground and just act normal, we've seemed to get more more activity that way.

35 I agree with you one hundred percent. That's that's what happens for me too. Did you notice any details about it. Besides the height, Yes, I did. I noticed how how long and how how long their hair was, and it was very human, very humanistic look to it. Yes, it was a bigfoot, but it very It had a very humanistic look to its face. I'm still trying to process that, still trying to figure that out, what that meant, what that was, But I don't know. It just had a humanistic look to its face.

20 How how long would you say the hair was? Wo six seven, eight, nine, ten inches? Okay, especially hanging off of his arm like it was. It was visibly a good five six inches long hanging hanging off of his arm. Were there parts of it that were not covered by hair or was it pretty much all hair colored? His hands? His hands were not covered, his face was not covered. I couldn't see his feet, but everything else was covered. Yes, So when you saw it, did it was it moving or doing anything? Or was it just kind of standing there and hanging out.

02 So at first it was observing us from behind a tree or a log that was laying on the ground. The sasquatch was laying down on the ground and it was peeking over the log. I can remember seeing his glowing eyes. It would peek over log and we saw it and we went a little closer and next thing we knew it was coming towards us. What color was its glowing eyes? Glowing eyes were whitish, not white white white, but kind of an off color white. Okay, And what did you start to do when it came towards you? That would have been something else.

47 Man, Well, looking back at it, so what we did when we saw it? And I've got it on video. I think I might have sent it to you when we talked before. But anyway, we retreated back to our campsite. We calmly gathered our equipment off of the picnic table, the concrete picnic table. We spent about fifteen minutes, but we were actually in shock and didn't realize it. But we gathered our equipment. We drove an hour home. We didn't speak a word of it to each other until we got home and my buddy looks over at me. He says, did you see something back there? And I was like, yeah, I saw something back there, all right, But it was almost like we couldn't talk about it at first.

36 Why do you think that was? Well? I was about to ask you what your opinion was on that. I think we were physically in shock. I think that might be something to do with it. I think also if you bring yourself to talk to someone out loud about it, out of your own head, that puts you in a situation where like now you're committed to it, right, Okay, I think that's a lot to do with it. You know, what do you like? So so not everyone when they bring it up to a buddy has a good experience where the buddy is like, oh yeah, I experience that too. A lot of times people say, oh, like you're crazy, and then that that will destroy relationships, right, So it's it's kind of like it's a bridge to cross potentially when you bring that up to someone. But I think it helps a lot when people do it, you.

28 Know, yeah, yep, but yeah, it took about an hour for us to you know, communicate to each other about it. I found that pretty odd. Absolutely well, I mean it is. I I've heard of like sometimes, I mean I've talked to guys where they have situations like this and they never talked to the their buddy again, like they can't do it, you know, years and years and they never talked to them. So you mentioned there was a a lot of like humanistic features to it. Could you explain what that was about? So after my after my sighting, that's probably one of the most important things that I remember about it, that it had a very humanistic look to its face, Like you could you could tell by the look on its face that it was it was disappointed. It was, uh.

30 And the reason I say that, I'll get to that, but you could tell that it was shocked by the look on its face. You could tell its emotion and what I think the reason is for its emotion of being spotted. This thing was walking towards us, and it was almost like a spotlight. The clouds parted almost and the moon the moonlight lit it up, and the look on its face was like, oh, no, I've been spotted, you know, kind of like oh, oh crap, oh crap. Anyway, I could just see so so many humanistic or human features on that dude's face. Uh, just a nice brow ridge forehead it had. It had a larger nose, I'll say that kind of flat, but a larger nose, had larger lips. I remember him being kind of blackish purplish look to it on the on the hands and face.

35 So you mentioned the hands before. What kind of features did the hands? Could you see nails and how did those look? Couldn't couldn't see nails. It's about three in the morning, and we just, yeah, couldn't see nails. Just to see the color to be on throuit. Just the color mm hmm. Okay, his face wrinkled. His face was kind of wrinkled. His hair, his hair, he was definitely gray, but he had about three four or five shades of gray in there, you know what I mean. It wasn't a solid color. Sure, sure was there a smell at all. Didn't smell anything. Okay, interesting. Came right. That's crazy. How close did it get to you guys?

17 About twenty feet? Wow, that's that's about the closest. We've been chasing this guy for probably ten years out there in Bankhead, and you know, it seems like there's about a thirty to fifty foot barrier that they'll, you know, stay away from us, it seems like. But yeah, this is definitely the closest I've ever been to one. It was wild. It was wild. Feel kind of honored, to be honest with you. You know, I'm not sure what all it takes to have an encounter, but I know there's a lot to it.

58 It's I think you're you're right there, man, it is it's a it's a it's a same thing where not everyone experiences it. But have you heard of other people seeing something similar in the same forest, like a gray type creature? You know, there's there's stories about it. I've done some research after my siding and after my encounter, and yeah, there are stories out there. Gotcha. Would you ever want to have the same type of experience? Again, no story, I would not. Why is that? To be honest with you, For like two to three months after my encounter, I was physically sick. I ended up with vertigo. I had vertigo for like two to three months. Just was very ill physically for about two to three months after mind.

54 Counter and vertigo meaning extremely dizzy. Extremely dizzy when you stand up, you throw up, trouble Yeah, yeah, trouble walking. Uh yeah, that's exactly what it is. Wow, that is that's kind of concerning. Before I've never heard it where it sticks with a person. Usually it's there for like a day or so and then goes away. Okay, so you have heard of that that happening. Yeah. Yeah. Sometimes people say it's one of the symptoms of infrasound, potentially like a nausea. It's something, but it's crazy. That's weird that you had it stick with you for so long.

40 That's very strange. I was like in the bed, man, if I wasn't at working, I was in the bed. It was. It was a long period of time, at least two months. Wow. Well, I'm glad that you are out of it now. It sounds like you are back in good health now. I'm doing good. I'm doing good. I just want the truth to come out. Uh me too, right there with you. I really do. Man. People think it's a big joke. I got news for you. Come on the bankhead, I'll show you. Kevin. I saw your I looked through my email real quick and I saw where you emailed me in a few different times. But the I wasn't able to get any photos or anything. But it was more like a contact deal.

29 So okay, okay, I can send you. I can send you over my encounter. It's about about for four minutes thirty seconds video. Okay, yeah, I'd love to see it. Yeah, absolutely yeah. Pig Society gmail dot com. You got it. I'll thank you Keron good for coming out. Have a good day, sir, youto you brother Kevin's good dude, good dude. What a what a wild encounter for to go and dizzy for months. All right, we got we got a lot of people wanting to come up. Let's let's continue. Hey, thanks for coming up. A few questions for you. So you are coming up to share about bigfoot. Exciting, Yeah, and kind of cool.

17 I had one, a couple of different ones, but yeah. That's awesome. Feel free to share what your experience was there, man. Well, the area I live in, super rural in Ohio. You know, just I guess fields and woods. There's a lot of lakes around here too. Well I've heard from other people and stuff that they they like to follow the water, like the water chains and stuff. Yep. Well the area I was as a dam and I was a kid. We were boy scouts. We were playing in the field. You know, it's dark out, you know, just by the moonlight the fires, probably fifty yards from where we were playing that. Well, there was this by the woodline. There's this big black figure that you know, stood there and I kind of like ran up to it. Well, it took off and I don't know if you can like imagine it, but like imagine a cartoon character like taking long strides in the dark and you just and it looks it looks humified, but like it's just so fast.

26 Well I went up to somebody and asked them about it, and you know, they kind of called me like, like, you know, what are you talking about. You know, I was just a seven year old kid. Well, uh, that neck the same night, we were you know, kind of just hanging out. Well, there was a we were kind of just on the side like by the brush, like right by the brush, and they were having a fire right there. Well, uh, there's a bunch of brush, you know, further away, you know, getting broke up and everything, and you know, you couldn't tell anything whether there was a stick throwing at somebody. I don't know if it was another person that threw a stick and they kind of just was just dicking off. Sorry for the language, but like, h never really like never really made sense on that night.

13 But the next day we were leaving and I was with these two other kids and we were walking on this trail. Well there was this. Big brown figure you know, probably maybe half a football field or a whole football field away just down the trail looking at us, and you know it like it looked like it was running towards us. Well, we just got so scared and. Took off. My another time, in that same area, years later, I was walking one day and I walked off the trail and like in a canal kind of where with a bunch of like different water systems, like for a dam. You know there the area I was walking back. Nobody's gonna walk back there in their bare feet. It's just it's just it's a muddy area, you know. Well, I thought I found footprints, and I actually had some lady from a like a like a Bigfoot like society. I forget what it was, what program it was, who she's through, but she came and looked at them for me, and uh, you know, she tried to have me cast them and everything, but I didn't have anything to like really cast them with, so I tried to cover them up as best as I could with like you know brush and everything like that. Well, uh, anyways, it rained, but the pic. I do have a picture that I'm gonna try to see if I can get it to like come up, but give me one second.

46 If you like, I can put it up here or I can just you know, send it to you. But okay, Well through the when I was well, when I was on the phone with this lady, the area I was in just you know, there's a bunch of trees. It's really it's really easy to you know, to hide yourself. Well, there was a rock thrown like a pebble, you know, thrown in my direction into the water, and I thought it was just like a frog or something, or a toad, but I I didn't see any animals out there, but you know, it was just it was super like dark and eerie. Like you know, I got like goosebumps, you know, during the whole situation. And like you said with the other guy about going to people with it, you know, you really can't even go to somebody about that. It's just because they call you crazy and then they you know, think you're delusional or something like that. And then like so I've really never I got obsessed with it around that time. You know, I got really obsessed with it, and I seen a lot of people and that the judgment of I don't care, I know what I seen.

00 You know that was in my head and like what anybody told me, like they were most of them are telling me I'm crazy or you know, just dumb, and like basically it was just like that, but. Never really. I also used to live, you know, probably about five minutes from where I was, and I used to park my car right next to a corn crib and the corn there it would just be like an area where you know, it dropped down about fifteen feet over the edge of the of the gravel and it was just an old area for a silo. Well I'd park my car next to there at my old house, and you know, it happened for years. It happened to my mom as well, but they like just rock pebbles would get thrown at the car when it was running, like and then during the dark out when it was dark out, Like there was one night where I was sitting in there with my ex girlfriend and me and we were just sitting there, you know, just talking, no music on, car was off, we had the light on. You know, there was a decent sized pebble thrown at my car and it just that happened a lot, and you know, it actually got normal.

09 It just became a normal thing, like we were just normalized to it. Yeah, but I've had little things like that and just little things where you can't really tell people about. It's just you know, I guess you know, do they just think you're a little delusional and stuff like that. But like around my area that same thought, there's been a lot of people that I've heard that have had, you know, different things happen, and but they don't they're just not public about it, like it has to really get into the conversation. But my area of rural Ohio, like we the Miami River flows.

52 Right through oh Total. Yeah, and then we also have you know, there's probably four or five different lakes that you know, just flow through between this area and you know to Cincinnati as well that they all kind of the the dams kind of all flow into themselves to the Miami River. So there's a lot of like just a lot of water and you know, food sources and everything like that. So you're like southwest Ohio, then. Uh look up, uh, Sydney, Ohio. That's the the area. Sydney, Ohio. Okay, I mean, I'm gonna look it up on my sighting map here. Okay, So you are like over near the border near north of Dayton. Yeah, yeah, okay, interesting.

48 I mean I've got a few a few sighting reports by Dayton area. That's interesting. So your stuff is happening around Sydney. Okay, okay, that's awesome. Are you Are you thinking of actively trying to look into this more? Is just something as you're out that. Actually happened to that. Sorry to interrupt you, but that happened. That last sighting happened a couple of years ago, and I actually was really like interested. Well, the more I guess the hate that I got from it and everything was kind of like just it wasn't overbearing. It was just kind of like I didn't want to deal with it, so I kind of just threw it away. But I would, but I'm very interested in the whole subject. It just depends who I'm talking to about the subject.

39 Yeah, absolutely. And that's where it's tricky, because you know, there are so many people out there where you try to tell them your stories and they'll just make funny And that's that's the main reason why I have this channel and the podcast I do, where then people can have an outlet to to share and not have to worry about. Being You really are the first person i've actually like, you've said my thoughts on words that you said it in words. You know, you can't tell people like you've got to cross a bridge basically, and it's a it's a cool thing that you put it in words, to be honest. So yeah, no, that's that's the first time I've ever had that thought today when I was talking to the previous gentleman. So I'll have to have to remember that because it sounds like it kind of struck.

26 I bet it resonated with a lot of people. Yeah, it resonated with me right away. I was we weren't even talking, and I was like, he's so right, Like no, but. Well, well, Brendan, I appreciate you coming up and hanging out for a bit if you you know, and i'd love to if you have that photo and you want to send it over, I'd love to take a look at it, and anything else happens, You're welcome to share it, you know, on Bigfoot Society at gmail dot com. But I appreciate you coming up, man, I appreciate it. Right. Hello, there doing doing well. A few questions for you real quick. I want to make sure is there any way you could get closer to your mic a little bit? Okay, oh you know what, Yeah, you're right to hit it up. Yeah, it's it's pretty low.

22 Hold on, I'm dis connecting. This sounds great now, sir. Thanks for coming up, man, and feel free to share what your experience was. You're welcome. I I was. I travel inside Illinois. I'm a truck driver and back in twenty seventeen twenty eighteen, I had my own authority, so I would run loads for a Coca Cola company from Elsip, Illinois to the Coin, Illinois. So one time, I usually leave at three in the morning so I can get there at six thirty in the morning. It's a straight three. Hundred mile drive, so got to run it. So I take this one route that's a two lane highway. It's called Washington Street or something like that. That leads me into another street that gets me to the Coin. And one time I was I have forty three thousand pounds, so I have to keep the speed limit under a stoppable distance. If something jumps in front of me when I was expecting a deer or something, and I always got to look out for them. So all of a sudden, from like one hundred yards a day away, I see a tree that's like being pushed towards the road, and I'm like what, So I slowed down to a speed where I could like stop if it falls in front of me, and then like fifty yards prior to getting there, it just slams across the street and shatters into four big pieces.

46 Man. I was like, I didn't see anything run away from there, but I've seen it like pushed back and forth. But I've been watching Bigfoot since Finding Bigfoot started, all the way to its advance into the last show where they have doctors and you know, scientists and one military doing the research, and they zeroed in on him at the last episode where they caught some fresh pickfoots like minutes later after he disappeared, you know, and then after that the government told him they need to evacuate because the forest fire is getting too close to them, you know. But I think, based on my researches and not seeing that Bigfoot slam it, they have the ability to like they're like brought that with them to be invisible, you know, like not being seen. And what happens is sometimes I think they accidentally that whatever. They have malfunctions, like temporarily, and they think they're not being seen, but we as humans see them and we drop black and dead, you know, like' and they're.

55 Looking at us. What the fuck do they see me? You know? They seeing me? And then they realize they've been So they try to scare you off because they don't want you disappearing because that draw attention to investigating. The crime, you know. So another thought I'm thinking is they try to scare off people that go places where they don't want them to because that probably they're landing and pickups on and they're expecting some kind of activity that's coming in to trade them off or something. Maybe they're all out of space military people or something, or people that being sentenced to prison and then sent down to Earth as punishment with limited powers. So you can't rule any of these things up because when they try to scare you off at the lowest level first, but a lot of your stories you heard, they don't respond to the lower ones, and then the pick pot takes a second attempt to make it a little bit scarier and scarier, and then they don't want it to reach to the point where you have to disappear. But I think sometimes we unknowingly get them to that part and then we just some of us are Spanish and no one knows how we disappeared.

04 Have you watched Dave Polaidi's stuff yet? I might have, but like one, I've seen some of that. But yeah, you should check out his stuff is you would probably like it. But yeah, De Cooin is down there by Murphy'sboro right coin Illinois. It's south south of Illinois straight out. Yeah, I mean you get south of where you were at, like Murphysboro and Shawnee National Forest. I mean, those are those are big for hotspots down there, dude. I think that's where a story in that the lake where there was a monster in there, I think that happened out there in one of them. The town's over there, Yeah, there's the Murphy's Borough mud monster is a pretty famous, uh sighting.

48 That's just. Very very wild stuff. Well, hey man, thank you so much for coming up and sharing. I mean, that's that's why you had tree pushed over right right by, So. Get any other explanation. It wasn't windy or anything at all. There you go, there you go. Thank you for coming out. Man. A good day you too, sir.
