They were right there and screaming and holland and Delayne asked his daughter, said do you want to leave? Because she was pacing back and forth. She said yeah, and they got in the car and left. He asked me if they started coming, and I don't know why, but I said no, I'm gonna stick around a little bit. They left, and that was a lonely feeling watching her black jeep going out out the dirt road. And then I'm here. These things were screaming in Holland and it's me. I guess they want they want you. They're going to get you. Walked to the front of the car, leaned up against the hood. Now these things are in backing me. Now I got my back at him, and they're just still screaming and holland and really carrying off one out. But I thought that this is it. I'm staying. I don't care if they tare me at part. All right, Big Society, we got the privilege of talking to mister Ronnie Roseman tonight. He's from the Pacific north West. He's got years of Bigfoot experience. And how are you doing tonight, Ronnie. I'm doing fine. Yeah, a long time since men ready. Yeah, it's like the new version of radio in a way. It's it's a lot of fun. Let's start at the beginning, Ronnie, So tell me what was it that first got you into big footing years ago. I don't know. I've always think weird. I as a kid, I just was always attracted to mysteries and explained things and phenomena's and stuff. At a very early age my name was fourth fifth grade, I got a book called Stranger Than Fiction I Thrank Edwards, I believe it was. I read that and had something in there, the Obama of Snowman. I got interested in that.

2:54 I think it was eight and then I was telling an aunt I had. I lived in southern California at the time, and I had an aunt that lived in Eureka, which was eight hundred miles away California, and she knew about me being an interest in Vomo Snowman. So it was during the time that the road construction known in California, Bluff Creek area was wearing by Ray Wallace there, and she saved all the clippings for me on the big Foot because that's when the big foot best word of the name of Bigfoot originated the Bluff Creek area during the nineteen fifty eight I think it was or fifty.

3:42 Yeah, So Jerry Cooney was seeing the tracks around as all those they went to the newspaper and Humboldt or whatever it was there eureka, goody, and then the picture was on. Anyway, she saved all the newspaper clippings for me, and I didn't know it. So when she for a Christmas she I got that as a Christmas president. So I got interested in Bigfoot at that time, and I think I was nine years old, So that was my beginning. You were around nine to ten in the late fifties. What I'm hearing there? Yes, okay, wow, So you were at an interesting age when the Patterson Gimlin film was released. Do you remember that?

4:29 Oh? Yeah, definitely fifty seven. I think I was about not seventeen years old. See how old was I at that time? Sixty I was sixty seven, right, it was sixty seven. You would have been sixteen or seventeen years old. Yet. Yeah, that's when I got I really got I really got motivated. I guess a lot of people did. Then. You could look at it, even at that age and I didn't know anything, and I still don't know anything about these things. But at that looking at that, I'm movement and stuff, and just the way it moved you. You could tell it looked like something always there, even though your family's are looking at you weird. But yeah, that's when I really got motivated. But that's when I ordered to tranquilize your gun and I paid five hundred butts for it. Gun in the mail. They had these big dreams about shooting one of these things, and they were end after seeing that picture some day, I'm going to get out there, and thought about doing something like that. And of course I had a problem with tranquilizer or a drug or something. What would you're huge? Would you want something for apes or And I never did think that these things were apes myself, even though a lot of friends have about that, John Green, doctor Currens and great people that I just didn't see that with a human like footprints and stuff, which is the most obvious. The first thing I decided to go with something

6:00 more a cernal one. And then I went around to pharmacists and stuff. I didn't know where to go and try to get something like that, and I was asking him around to get it, and most of the pharmacist that they said, no, we can't get you there, We can't do that, or we don't can't get that or whatever. As one as pharmacies said. Yeah, he says that's for tranquilizing people or whatever. Not. Oh, he said, yeah, maybe I can help ye out and give me your information. I didn't do that. I get scared or left, and I realized that, my gosh, I probably I didn't want to tell him. I wanted to. Oh. I think I did tell him. I think I told him what you wanted for us, said something about I wanted to tranquilize Bigfoot, and I think that give me a weird look. I left. I dropped that project. That idea, which I've done it later wouldn't work anyway. But anyway, so trial and error from the beginning.

6:59 That is amazing. So was this in southern California that this all took place? Then? Yes? Yeah, okay, wow, what a story. That's amazing. Man, Thank you. Maybe it might sound kind of dumb, No, it's awesome. These are the kind of stories that my listeners absolutely love. Did you first see the film then in a I know it was shown in movie theaters a lot. Did you see it in a movie theater then? No? I didn't you know something I don't remember. I think it was on TV during that time period. So you were getting into your You're almost twenty in that time period right after the PG film, Did you seriously go out and start looking at that time, besides trying to get the No, I did not at all. That come at a much later date. I had read a little bit about these things if I and I'm kind of easy anyway, and I'm certainly not at really an outdoorsman or anything like hunter or anything. I did a lot of hiking, but it wasn't looking for monsters. But I got to thinking about it and what I did find out about it. Peter Byrne, he's the first guy I contacted, sometime in the mid seventies or something. But I realized about pit unless you never seen one that I know anyway, Peter Byrne didn't, John Green didn't, and Doctor Grants didn't. And I thought, my god, you could to get out to get a chance to even get this glimpse of these one

8:33 of these things at a distance, much less close up. You could search all your life, and I just thought it wasn't feasible to go out for what the time that was involved and everything else, and not that they're not out there. But I was learning a little bit by the time I was in my twenties, I opted to collect snakes and stuff, and they did it for many years when all of the United States down there everywhere, different places. I always had these things on my mind, but I figured, I'm collecting snakes to run across one of them, that will be a plus, but not likely. But and so I didn't get into it till my real what I could call an expedition was after I had gone in Quinn a Lady. It was in the nineties and late nineties, and I by that time I was I knew Richard Greenwell of the International Society of crypto Zoology.

9:31 I don't know if you're familiar with him. I have heard of the society, okay. He was the secretariat and doctor Mackael Roy Manthem was the vice president, and Bernard Huvermans was the president. And that was the day I established are founded that the Smithsonian. They were legit guys, and so me and Richard did a lot of build research started. It didn't start till ninety eight. In ninety nine, I went with him on It was the second expedition there that he had in the sist years, and the first expedition that he had done was with him, doctor Meldrum on Felibano, the name of Mark Slack, he was the guy, and then Darwin which sed his son.

10:20 He didn't in two years. That was in nineteen ninety seven, and I think it's in the doctor Mildrum's book. He's got it in there, which was interesting. I didn't of course, this was long before his book came out, but he tells what happened there when he was on the team back in there, and that they was camped in a medal where these things came in there at night and they were running in between their tents and stuff. They had stole their oak mill and they had it downe in the bags and these things took it out. They didn't make a mess like a barrywood. And they heard him running back and forth and doctor Meldrum was it or and his tent, and he said one of them actually hit the guide wire or something on the dirt dirt as tent running through there. But anyway, the next morning they checked it out and the tracks were there. It was biped in the grass. It's nothing you could cast. But the indentations that there where they had been there come in during the ninth Richard was using the tall blasting and stuff. So anyway, that was ninety seven. Then Richard asked me if I wanted to go on the next line, which was nineteen ninety nine, and we went in June or June and July, I think it was. But there's only a window frame to get in there. It's just snow and stuff most of the year. It's only a couple of months that are really safe to get back in there. It's about forty miles back

11:54 in from Orleans and the canyon. It was here to the trick we had the first. There's five hundred pounds of equipment and food supplies and thermal imageting and everybody else. So we got back there and there were some results and we called blasting in the canyons. In the evening what was reportedly bigfoot screens and stuff like that. We had babies and how our monkey sounds and baby sounds, humans and stuff and I we split up. There was a the main camp Base camp was Richard and his son and then me and Angelo Caperella.

12:39 He was a biologist from a University of Chicago. We camped out about a mile away from there for Camp US and Angelo. He couldn't handle my snoring, so he went one hundred feet down the mountains somewhat and I was by myself there and something was coming around. And I'm going to say this because it's important. It has something to do with something to happen in my area recently. Now, this was nineteen ninety nine and fifth US northern California when this was going on. And after the call blasting one evening, I stepped out of the tent to relieve myself and I heard something snap, a twig snap, and right on the other side of it was a big canyon.

13:31 But anyway, I heard it, and that's all I heard. But we had already we had to shoot a bear. I think it was just four or five days before. There was stocking us and Nashal was going to charge. We didn't have any choice. So I was thinking there and I got back in my tent. I knew something was I felt that something big was there, and I had a pistol and mace, and I felt somewhat comfortable with that. Anyway, went through the night, nothing happened. The next night that same five and nine, about one o'clock in the morning, I stepped out I heard the twig snapped the same area. Of course, it's pitch black to get back in the tent. I told I'd go lead pipe back to the base camp and have breakfast the morning. And I told Richard, who's the team leader, and I had all the equipment and nine equipment thermal every year and night the equipment in ford. But I said, we are you guys are to set the stuff around my can. I think some's coming around there. And at this point I wasn't thinking bigfoot, I was thinking bear. But he said, yeah, maybe we should do that.

14:50 They talked to her. They didn't want to it right then. They wanted to equipment where they were sold. The third names. I got out at the same time heard twick snap, and I got back in the chin and I had the court don recrown all around there before I set my chin up there, and I wanted as secure as possible, so I had set it up next to undergrowth some shugbed thick rush and stuff on one side of it, and then right behind it there was a log. There was bowed not a log but a limb, but it was bowed up just like a guard for a car if you went apart right in front of it. It just bowed up, just perfectly, went across the level and then came back down. And I had stood on that before I set my tent up there, and I jumped on it. I was one hundred and sixty hive pounds and I didn't budge it, so it was solid. So I had that behind me and that's where my head was for a slip. So this third night, one hund put I think right from that area there was an animal trouble and all went all the way back and I came back around right behind my chin, so I think whatever it was there it did that. But sometime during the night I heard that that branch or the big tree part just going like it was going down and making a noise, and I couldn't budget jumping on it. So something heavy was pushed on its right behind my head,

16:22 and then it went and it went, but it started. I could tell it was going back up, and so something didn't want to make any noise. And then right on the side of me and the right hand sled of the kent right after that, wod this, excuse me, don't jump, But I got a kind of give you an idea. I heard look only ten times worth ten times a louder, so that of course it made that was that was unnerving, and I didn't know to think of that, and I thought something was going to come through my chins. So I sit there Indian style all night with my pist on one hand and Mason the other.

17:02 Nothing happened, and it was years later. There's a lot more on that expedition, but I want to make a point because at least something happened there that got me in trouble many years later, like within the last couple of years. Here, I'm in Oregon right now, a central Oregan surrounded by mountains, and was and that sounds. There was a few years after that with a friend of mine. I was over to his house, Retman nielss Junior. I don't know if you ever heard of him. Big footology had he established, but anyway, he I was over his house and I had never heard the run nor heead tape. I didn't last year of sounds.

17:45 And I came off with that sound and I was telling him the same story that was years ago, and he says I. He looked at me and says, I don't think you because I was still thinking there, I don't know anything about bears. Not that maybe I don't know sounded hafful, you know, scary for a bear to come off like our ruth. But he says I don't. My friends says, I don't think you've seen a bear, and he played me a bit more headstapes. So it's got the third one in that with the aggressive sound, and it is almost an exact and I think, oly heck, maybe yeah, I think one of those things was standing by my chitch. I don't think he liked me being there.

18:29 It was aggressive, for sure. So many years later, coming up to now, he was introduced an area by a hunter and well to somebody else that knew I was interesting, big food. But anyway, I got it in this area and right off the bad we started having things happening, and my goshness probably our to our talk right there and all less. So I'm just going to keep to the point here for now. That sound I after being annoying these things over here, we had to come in in different areas and whistled from both sides, communicate or whatever. Camping everything was fine.

19:12 And this friend of mine is named Dwayne. He's a rug and old hunter. I don't think he's afraid of much. He's been charged by grizzly bears twice, and I had been bothering and any of these things were up here that people didn't believe him. And anyway, I was introduced soon and I wanted to go up onting. Nobody had ever went up on me. I did, and we had action. He was going on. Everything was fine, and then one evening when we're there, we're camping in this metal area that's a good, pretty high elevation. It's back in a ways, and I was sitting in my chair, sitting on a beer, and him and his dad, we had grandfather there too, and they were they went to laid down the tent. It was getting and I was sitting outside of the tent and the chair, and I asked him what kind of sounds because he's been up there, camping there and honey, mostly by himself for over forty years, annoying those things over there, and over forty years he only got to see one once and it which about from about three hundred feet, and only one time with him being there all the time, was so gusy an idea, But I asked him, I said what kind of sound you heard over the years? Order mean you come out with hunting load of her.

20:33 And so I said, I'm going to share a sound idea that iired one time. So I came off with the one I just us tried to come out with you. And if you hear that Ron Moore had taped hears sounds, order about the third one is it? But I so I did that and pretty loud. And I was just sitting there dreamer, and about fifteen minutes later, twenty minutes or whatever, we heard these things coming from a distance along distance, just falling and raising hill and screamed. Something was very agitated, and there was more than one, and they were coming our way. But the way I knew exactly what it was coming. And I said, oh, I said, any of those sounds, because these things A couple of them are coming up like crazy agitated Jim Panzi's and another one was coming off someone like a mad owl, and another one was coming off like a coyote, and another one like a raven, and all of them are going at the same time, and they're headed our way and they're getting louder, And so I said, I asked him they were still in the tent. I said, do you ever hear anything like that? Easy out, No, not quite like that. When I said, yeah, we knew what they were, and I said, I think this is a premier of the coming attraction. And I jump got in the tent pretty quick with

22:03 them. There were just enough room with the three of us, and they're coming. They're getting louder. By the time they got to where we're at, it was it was totally dark, and they came that We could hear him coming in the circling and the back of the mental coming around just within the tree wine and they came directly behind our tent, and just for an hour and a half they just they chair rises. We actually didn't think we were going there to the night. It was so bad. There's no way to explain it how intense it really was. Two of them coming off like chimpanzees and crazy champanzee in the other animals sounds, and you could tell they were running back and forth, and one of them was charging pump pump pump pumped right up heavy and just running it right up to the tent and then it run back. And they did that every once in while. They did it for about an hour and a half and every time the one that it was charging your grace for impact, because it felt like it was gonna you learn, he was going to come and take the chance and you with it and just go right on through. That's what I felt like. It was up on a dime, right that they had just sundent like right there at the champ before it came through. Then run back and yeah, that was pretty terrifying that and I was that I could document that would be something but a chance. But anyway, they ended up going around the other site and

23:34 he did a complete circle actually, and I went back around and went back down the same way and you're gonna hear him keep going until they started fading out. While they were fading out and fade ountil you couldn't hear them anymore. And that that was a while they so any way, the a scared with Jesus out of this. And what's interesting that one of the things that is is that the day before I had we we were doing our recon around there and we've seen a track of one, but it was a smaller track. It was probably about twelve inches maybe a little less. Are they would just see the impression what it was, and it was going a certain way, and there was a tree right there too. It looked like it and a little kathleen like. And that's when we were I said, let's get some food and put out on a tree. I hadn't tried to put food up, and I thought, oh gosh, I had a perfect tree that shit brewed up and stuff. So that we went to town and we got bananas, and we've been out and put them on the tree. Next morning we went out and checked and those tracks were coming from the tree, and the bananas were gone, and there were snow scratch underneath the tree or anything something. I had taken the bananas. So that's why we set up for camp. Yeah, I think together, or said our camp up here.

25:02 So we did. So that evening that happened, and of course they were anxious to get out of there. The grandpa, he never said a word or sitting. None of us were early talking, not till it was over it. They were leaving, and the lesson of the stories that funny. One might them skipper for now. But next morning everybody was in ours. Soon as it got daybreak, we were ready to go. They were standing there for a little bit talking, and I because I'm trying to figure out what the hell is going on. We'd been going in there and we know they were coming around, and then we hadn't had any problems, and they just went holistic crazy this night. And I'll tell them dwine, I said, my god, I wonder what happened? Why did they do that?

25:48 I'm thinking because I was telling them that the younger one took them dan as it looked like from the tracks he might have taken back to the old man, and the old man might have got pissed off, said us forgiveness kids from food. And I'm trying to I'm just trying to figure it out. And then he says, no, this guy is a season hunter, and he's said all over a game hunter. He said no, he said they were here for you. I feel the shivers and shills go right downline neck. I said, far for me? Why? But he says, last night, he said, when you come up with this sound, He says, twenty minutes they were headed here. He says, they came here for you. I thought, oh shit. But so anyway, we left and I did go back and I took him home and I went back only because I had a print as a big fun hunter happened to be in the house.

26:45 The house there donned them all. I don't know if you ever heard of him, but yeah, he was at my house. He came from Montana, just happened to be here when I came here that day after the camped out there. And he's a big time big hunters. He's eighty years old, he's still going out and he's quite a fellow. That I told him, and he seemed to go up there. No, I didn't want to go back. I was still freaking nervous. I took him back up there and we walked around on it, and I found a scene where they came in. It was like they just leveled the brush and everything and there wasn't anything a big path where it must have been four feet wide where they came in and went through around, but it was too hard. Chine really distinguished old tracks, but it was all missed up scretch or would either tell where the footprints were back and forth, nothing to cast. It was hard ground. But on the other side where they went out, I found two trash in the softer areas, and the first one I seen was I measured it by getting a streaking a stick up. I didn't have any paper or measuring stuff. I broke a stick off and measured it later. But this one track was fifteen inches and to nine inches. It was a teen inches long most to nine inches like at the ball, and put to seven inches at the heel. And not far from that there was another track. And then it had stepped right down where it was soft foili or grass or r

28:18 and what. I don't know what you told the stuff, but anyway, it was heavy and it was spongy like material underneath the canopy and a soft moist ground right in this area. And this thing had stepped right there and right down there, right down to the riot you see the roots system and stuff. I jumped on it, and the area's right there at the track, and I jumped and it just like a sponge. It went down and it came back up this whatever. It was so heavy it went right down and laid the bare roots. And the track was twenty three inches long and about nine and a half inches wide and seven just out the hill. So that was a big daddy guy, and that's someone I guess I pissed off.

29:06 Dwayne had said that he wasn't going to ever go back. He'd been hunting over there over forty years with him and then was fathered. But that really did it for him and pretty much me too. And about five months later I wanted to go back up there, and I went by and I asked him, so lescope up there and let's just go, And I said, I said, Dyne, I said this daytime, it's summertime. I see in the afternoon it's hot. I said, they're going to be out sleeping somewhere. I said, I wouldn't worry about it. Let's go up there. Let's just go. And I talk him into it, and his daughter came alone to want to introduced me to him, and we went up there. And are you still with me? Yes, Ronnie, I am just I'm letting you talk because this is amazing. I'm doing my best, try to ask questions, but this is amazing. I'm so used to somebody interrupting me or taking off for healing somethody. It's taken me years to get to the point not to interrupt people. But I just hope the guy didn't get hang up. Think there is so much cool. So anyway, it's all true. I don't sit around mixed stuff like this up In fact, I take the serious je does subject too seriously to do that. So we went up there, and I just want to I'm thinking, because I was a little nervous going back, but I got now, now these things are

30:38 gonna now that'd be sleeping somewhere, and I really convinced myself of that. And we got out there in part right far from the metal, and I had my car, They took their feet to his daughter took the jeep, they drove the net and I had my little green car and we were parked right there on the access road, right next to the metal. I was back in the metal a little bit, and we were there, and that these if you hear some animals or birds chirping and from usually okay, there's pretty good sign they're not there unless you want them to be there. It was just completely silent. That's a good sign that they're probably around. But these little birds were chirping on the other side of the metal. It's pretty good, signed Mettal. About a hundred seat across or more the front and the birds, little birds like sundling, little finches or something that I'm hearing the birds and I'm looking at the daughter. She's staring over that area.

31:36 She's a pretty smart girl. Nobody's said anything. I'm looking over the way too. She starts chirping, and then she's got like a pattern, chrip, but kind of like a pattern coming from the little birdie over there too. And she yeah, it changed, it was different these the chirping. I'm still not I'm not sure. She walks over there. It was about sixty feet and when she got when in fifteen feet, the little birdie started picking up and trimping, chip getting excited. But maybe birdies can get excited somebody walking towards it. But she got she didn't go any further. And still nobody's saying anything or just watching. And she turned around him walked back to us, me and her dad, and they were really going crazy.

32:29 And then something else was happening. Two two squirrels came off about the time, off the distance and towards the bottoms. What it's called the bottoms, And it's a fascinating area. That's the first place we camped out. When I went up there, I thought it was a good place. It's about hours hike down in there and it's like the old girls and stuff and creek and cabbage and given tell and part of the swamp and the other I'm a perfect place for those things. That's where we the first night. And we actually had two of them that night. That was long before this. And yeah, keep up with me if you can, because I get sidetracked sometimes.

33:09 But I'm going to get back to what I was saying. But they that first night we had and whist for both sides, and next morning we figured what it was. Next morning we knew going out of the bottoms hiking starting to hide because the rocks were hitting the trees ahead of acision going out, So that confirmed what it was. But that's why it was Okay, we weren't having a problem on Now it's changed now now we're there, got the daughter and she's back, and two squirrels the bottoms that are in the direction of the bottoms. They're going off crazy. And Duane said, and ething knows his wildlife or the worms right on up. But he said that something's coming this way. And it was just right after he said that, which we could hear him coming. It was the same freaking sounds that night.

34:06 Now this is three o'clock in the afternoon, and they're coming that crazy chimpanzees sounds and the whole sand are that kyote rather in that raven and owl? All the five of them. I count at five the way. I thought there was a lot more than that, but I'm going by the sounds. I thought there was fide but a very out a way, getting louder and louder, just like the night, except this the daytime, and they knew we were there, and it's like this second time, they're gonna have to freaking warnish, you know. But they come out there and behind the girls on the other side of the matter was probably about one hundred feet away, and they came up to that. You could tell they were right there screaming and hollering and sounded like surrounding sound amplified and echoing. It's just so loud. They weren't coming out in the open. They were right there and screaming in holland and Delayne asked his day, said do you want to leave?

35:07 Because she was pacing back and forth. She said yeah and again in the car and left. He asked me, they said, you coming nice. I don't know why, And I said, no, I'm gonna stick around a little bit. And I'm not a brave person. I don't know why I do some things. I can't believe why I do some things. But anyway, they laughed, and that was a lonely feeling, watching her black jeep going on at the dirt road and tree woods on both sides of them. And then I'm here. These things are screaming in Holland and it's me. I guess they want and I'm staying, which sounds crazy. And I'm looking at my currents about twenty feet away, and it's pointed in a direction that is a dead end on that road. So I get in and I have to turn around on and I got a pretty good idea these things to from reports. These things ken move, They're quick, they want you, They're going to get you. I'm thinking, my gosh, I don't want them to have to think about it. They might just change in the car. Getting in there and turning around take a little time. I'm I don't like to, but I start walking towards the car because closer to it I am the safer I feel. And I as I'm walking towards it, it's like I got two voices in my head I run, saying get the hell out of here, run go, and the other one saying no,

36:40 if you go, you're going to kick yourself and about the rest of your life. This is why you're here. And I just kept going back and forth as I'm walking towards the car because I wanted to get out of there, but I didn't. I walked to the front of the car, leaned up against the hood. Now these things are immacum me. Now I got my back at them, and they're just still screaming and holler and barely carrying on. And I just I was determined that one voice, whatever it was, I'm one out. But I thought, this is it. I'm staying. I don't care if they tear me apart. I'm staying here. And as soon as I thought that, I'm not really into the spine speak stuff, but it was almost like becau. As soon as I thought that, I'm staying here, even if they'll have even if they tear me apart.

37:34 As soon as I thought that, another sound joined in with them, and it was the most hideous, deep gurgling growl, I like straight from hell or something. And it was loud. It's just as loud as them, and they were so loud already, and it was just a growl because I knew, and it just it. And as soon as I heard that, because this spella sounded real serious, I was already bad enough. And when that joined in, I thought, oh, I changed my mind, and I walked around slowly to my car and opened the door and just still go on. But as soon as I sat down, I hadn't even closed the door yet, it was silence. They all shut up, and which I knew right then. They did what they accomplished what they wanted. So I drove out of the slow, turned around, got the cartooned around, and drove back out. I had to be within probably sixty feet up or something back and then in the brush I had the windows down and went slow.

We had fresh but bananas back up and there after the younger one had taken them and this things went in that night and they passed that tree up twice. And it's also written and nothing touched it. That happened twice. When then that three months And I don't know why that happened. Somebody out there from maht no but I. But the rest of the time that other animals or critters or ravens, the birds and

But I took it all up there and I put the bananas, peanut butter or through the lambs and tied the some of the food and stuff up up from the bottom of the tub, and I on a cobbler. I put it in a cloth bag, shopping bag. It was flopped a heavy duty cloth and I put the cobbler container with a cobbler and about eight feet up on a lamb, and I sit there for about twenty minutes or a hundred, about

And I knew I was successful at that point. On that I took him back. I put some more food up. It's a pretty pretty amazing feeling to be connected in some way to something like that. That's just I it's hard to explain, like a connected with another world or something, and I and on a friendly basis too us what a feeling, But I sarted a thing. I drive out of there, and I don't know why, had it happened a lot. I kept going back. They're they're waiting for me, but I

Before I start off in the road to go back up there, and I don't want to drop by just for the hell of it and see if he wants to go, because I wanted company. And he surprised me and said, yeah, I'll go with you. So he did.

He was excited and he's just looking around, and he's a big guy. He's like an old hill building or something.

Have you heard any You mentioned you'd heard other reports from the same area as well. Yeah, my summer law was a cop here. He finally got away from after two years, but he was a cop here at the time and he got the call. I'm and he said, he comes in the house and it's just hey, just got a big foot report and whatever he's trying to tell me. I said, give me the details of the informa, So let me talk to the guy tomorrow. Take him off. He had a fresh report and in which you don't hear re often, and I he wanted to get it. I did it for him. It's I said, it's gotta be a pricking whild goose chase. I said, I've been on this before. I know better.

1:14:26 I'll know where it's out in the direction of all this stuff. And he actually followed his cop car out, told about twenty miles or something in the road, and then he stopped. So it's right back in there. You'll see a victory and stuff or pitch black because I've got the head lights. But anyway, I was supposed to see him this thing close up, and he was cutting logs or something. And I go back in and I knew better. It was stupid. Ready to go back in and trees all over the place. I can't find nothing, in the way to find nothing. He's a better cut than he was, a big fitter. So I drove around for a while. You don't know where the hell to stopper exactly this happened. Then went back home. I went out the next day and I think I think he went out and showed me, yeah, right where it happened and stuff, and there was some damn catation trash. I couldn't make it any good trash, right. But anyway, this guy was after some kind of a storm. A lot of trees are down, so people were out cutting firewood and different areas back in the woods surrounded. The woods go forever around here. But this guy the call and he was so scaredy cough cuss. He had a pickup and in a chainsaw, and he was cutting this wood up and it was getting dust. And he looks up and right up on this ridge above him a little bit of an elevation only about fifteen

1:15:58 twenty, says standing, they're looking at him. And he said he didn't pay attention to right away. He said he looked back and just kept on cutting. He said he thought he there's a man standing there. That's what he thought. He wouldn't get into excited. People do this a lot of these things for some reason. They've I've seen a man when they actually I think no, they know that they didn't see it all. And anyway, he said, he looked again, and he said, yeah, he know, and I said he stood up. He said, just staring this thing. You're staring at him. And he said that he caught his head to look a little bit more because the trees are right behind this thing, and the thing caughted his head at the same time, just like he did.

1:16:53 Like it was either mimic game or whatever. But the cost, he said, just like he did. And that was enough. He was and that pickup me was gone. Left his tools and saw everything, and on the way into town he called the cops. He wanted to tell it, but he did not want anybody in town noyon. And he came by with a couple of kids, great two good little girls, but he great little family. They came by and stayed for a couple of hours and went to it and talked to him about it. We never said anything about it to anybody. So you hit reports there was a guy here about three months ago whatever during the summer went that God has been more longer or not? Did the gas station. I have no doubt that guys telling the truth. He had to really make this up the run, stop telling us a big for stories were at the gas station. I pulled him looking at the mountain out there, and there's a matter up there. I know they come through there because I've been here long enough to people and people. I know they're not lying and they come true here around the ridges of stuff, but people don't even know. That's amazing. But this guy was like, he says, I've seen a big suit up there and I just got out to get gas.

1:18:15 And he said where he's that metal right there? And he said that they said there was help. He says it it ran out from there, was into the Mental and he said was scared. You could tell. And he stopped and it was looking around and then it started bolded to getting and it was going to the woods. On the other side of when he started out of the tree line came this man. But it wasn't a man. He says. It was dark cover. It wouldn't clows. He said it was dark and looked like los He said, just pauling ass after at the cross at Mental. So you get him here and I talked to the biologists. Heare years ago, he said, the only thing he's seen in thirty years. And then when he said what tracks, he said he cast Lester has one. He said they had four toes. I don't understand that was there.

1:19:04 I don't know Ryan real quick that I was just going to ask you that actually I've talked to gentlemen where h and also in Alaska too, there are reports that there are four toad sasquatch that are extremely aggressive, especially in the Monthood area, so that could be what they were. Yeah, so he saw four toad track in that area all the biologist he wasn't lying to me give In fact, he told me, I said, did you ever show any about it or whatever? He said, I took the die up in a didfoot researcher. He's up in mounther Hood and I said, park By. He says, yeah, that says the name. Peter Burnie says, yes, it was. That was it. He said he took that track to Peter Burne. You know Peter Burnie? Oh, absolutely, yeah, I definitely know who Peter Burne. So he was that four we're tow track around the Oak Ridge area then or no, you know something I don't remember it's been years or yeah, I do him about it, and it was in the state here, but he had worked here in Washington too, but he was thirty years and the the FoST biologist. But I don't remember.

But he said that he thought he said, Peter Burne told him he thought it was real. It was good size too. I think it was like seventeen inches, I think, he said. But he says the depth of it, he says, and the woods, and he says, somebody to fake it. He says, of the impact, he said, the depth of it, and the stride, and he said, the poor toos. He said, why was something going to take the truck? Why would why would somebody make port toes? So he cast it And yeah, but they're stuff around here. I'll go on and on with a few reports. They're not every day, of course, but yeah, they're around here. Some people aware of it. Most of them are not ones that are really don't hi, oh sorry, go ahead.

Your files must be just amazing, the things that you've the reports you've taken over the years, it must be an incredible collection. Oh gosh, I from all over from here to Florida. The Falcon monsters stuff. I multiple drifts down there, actually moved there, stayed there for two months on one of them. That's the only way gettingbody to tuck got a small town like that, and ain't nobody going to talk to some crazy California coming out looking for monsters. I had to move out there, and after a couple of weeks that sure changed around and people knocking at my door and everybody had their about monster explanation that had lived there all their life. I don't think any more, right, But it was fun. And they didn't want to meet in town either.

No, I when I get reports. I don't. I like my own, my personal my own reports, and I can rely on them for sure. But I think a lot of people are telling the truth. But that's them. I like my own stuff, but I no, never And I spent some time in Montana, Idaho, and Oregon, Washington and and Arkansas and Louisiana and Florida. But so Louisiana's fascinating honey on a swamp monster just another not another level going up, And no self respecting bigfoot hunter is going to admit or say anything incredible about that. I've talked to him, They've done their investigations. They all think it's a hoax, and I don't think so. Oh really, I've done it. No, I don't think it's hoax all. No, I've got a lot of stuff on it. And it's an excellent researcher and what he does for that those analyzing those films and stuff is just great. But I don't agree with him on everything either. But we've always got along, and like fifteen years at least or whatever, we never agreed on this honey on a swamp monster. There's something there. I don't see any evidence through whatever. When he come out without fifteen minute video what about eight years ago, and one of it was and claiming that it was Hope this county on the swat and it's because he had found that foot back and there if somebody had that with a contraption on it to take prints, that was good. Case closed, got the investigation left and then that boy that was awful quick. That was quick. So somebody picked some tracks and he and I know the family because of many years ago. I went back and the mother of Dana Halla killed. They're great people and there's no way to line.

And the people are not making anything, And that's my opinion. But I and on the Harlan forward and signing the way it was, the history of it there and those tracks, and I checked into his background pretty good, honest fellow him at Billy Mills that he had with him that day when he's seen that, and he didn't get the track to the day that he had. They had were hunting and said they've seen this thing. It wasn't till twelve or thirteen years later, sixty three you've seen and I think it was seventy two that he got tracks. Why did he wait freaking twelve years or whatever they it was that before he could come up with tracks.

He told her, liars and hookers and all that stuff. They went through a lot of roost s up there for a while on a couple occasions, and Dana and have always been friends with her ever since. Cass and that's what he found and this not as contrashman, and so I asked him if he would go on the radio and debated, and he said, yeah, I don't know they're going to change anything. I just wanted to help the family on his felt I don't know, but anyways to get it and it went for an hour. It was on a Scott Marlow's radio show, The Bioloshy there in Florida. And he didn't believe any ms stuff either. Three toad stuff. They think it's nonsense about which I can understand but in a way, but of course that I anyway, So we only have poor now and they said it was best radio show they ever had. They wanted to schedule another one, but we did. We did two shows radio shows and MK is still I still don't see any of it, and so whatever. Well, a few years after that he let me know he was down there unannounced, and he because he had to take I

He ran across some tracks and they were like the Harland Forward tracks that he had said earlier the years before that they was all fake. Now he's looking at him and there's a series of them. And there it was heavy and it had to be fresh because Salmon before there was a rain and there was a light rain and there's rain sprinkle all around except the inside these tracks. There were in the clay. There was no rain in there. There were dry in areas where it was walking, and he pursued it or whatever, and I think that's when he there was a sapling or whatever that was broke off and it was dry and placed in the pathway. This is forbidden terror. Don't forbidden area, don't pursue it. That's when he turned around and went out.

It's just and I know better, I know to do it, and I have some kind of recorder on you. But I didn't care. This might sound unbelievable or stupid, but it is stupid, but I didn't care. I'm never been out to prove these distance of these things.

I realized later on that, my god, this isn't just about me. This is about the Wayne who's introduced me to Nobody believed me. He wanted to be able to prove this, so somebody believing me. I don't give a shit eat that I should have been there for him and then I and not only that. I get thinking about these researchers and stuff that they dedicate their lines, and a lot of there some dangerous situations out there. I can tell you that some of that stuff, but they really they put it there all in here and they've been in for some of them all their life and they're getting something. And I got thinking about that, and God, I let them down too. So I don't feel it very good about myself. I would say, I wouldn't yourself doubt you've done some amazing things. I would say, Promise me, next time you go out there, you'll have an audio recorder and it'll be rolling the

I didn't that was Richard Ringwell's idea and it was working. I've talked to a lot of other researchers, some too, and someone would stay under the radar.

1:33:56 I'm not going to mention but a and they've told me, and I believe that I know guys are freaking excellent at this stuff, and they said it doesn't work. It's tall. They haven't had any luck in different areas, different places, and I believe that they're not making stuff up to me. I've known them too long, and I but I think there was something special about this area. It's forty miles back in you don't see anybody back in there. It's rugged back in there where we went, and he had been doing this regular role every couple of years. He was doing it every year, where every two years, but doing it. And I don't think these things back in that area were I just didn't know that much about people or stuff, or wasn't that familiar. For some reason, that area it worked where it doesn't work in other areas. And this stuff it figures because this type of research, with these things, it's just so unpredictable. It's like nothing makes any sense changes, which means it sounds less credible because crea it goes. But I know they had for some reason they worked there and I didn't go on intellect to two thousand and five was Richard's last expedition there.

They had five hundred pounds of stuff back back in there too. Again we had to use tourist as almost lost on them. But anyway, another story. But they got it back in there and there was a component that wasn't there. They needed to get the tall blasting arm and there's nobody Again they were on foot. It's forty miles back. So Darwin was in good shape and his buddy they hiked forty miles to get a part in Orleans to get that thing gone. They were gone for a shan about a week. That's intense.

Some real interesting stuff happened on the way. I'm not going to get into that. We could talk about this. In fact, we should do that Tivy tribute to pretty well and talk about him but anyway, he they didn't have any call ble I said, nothing happened, nothing happened at all. But as soon as they got back and they put that in there call blessing, they had activity that night. For two weeks straight. Every night they got one of them onternal energy and one of them turn and reached uff and the bushes and took the new in his tent, pushed the tent down and helped him in the tent. That was the last thing.

But he had never had activity like this anywhere, not even there, and I didn't want to go. He was dying. And Angelo, the biologists, he's a great fellow, just talked to him yesterday actually, But he and it was always loyal to the society and Richard. And he broke his ankle trying to get him out of the canyon. Richard to help get him out and get him on a horse. But because the virtues come in, I guess as to what, no I one knows they had deals that time or loves anyway, to have to check him that too.
