Steve is a listener that reached out to me through email about some interesting things that he experienced down there in the great state of Missouri. But Steve, welcome to the show.

I appreciate you having me on absolutely like I was obligated to send you an email because I kept hearing all these people in the area coming up with their Bigfoot stories. So it's a privilege. That's the fun thing how this show works is that, especially in it's starting to happen in southern Missouri, but also in western New York, there's a lot of people reaching out after these episodes come out. So I'm glad you did, and then I'm glad you were able to actually come on the show because that's a whole deal as well. But you know, Steve, I'm going to say, let's get into it. You're welcome to take our listeners back to where we need to go and what details we need to know about what happened to you when you had that interaction.

1:44 Sure, there's a lot of layers here. So the year nineteen seventy two, I was six and I had never heard of Bigfoot. It had no idea And as at a friend's house and we want to go, as free range kids do, go play in this little field. It was probably about four acres, right next to a subdivision and it was across the street from a ridge that leads to the Missouri River. So we're playing it's broad daylight and we come across this like woven. It was the beginning of a nest. It was it was the shape of a like a bird's nest, not that dense, but it was woven like that, and the sticks were like willow sticks, about an inch around. And I said to my friend, like, what is this? What is this?

2:35 And he's like, I don't know. I think my brother made it. And then I'm looking. I'm thinking, and I remember vividly thinking that if your brother made this, he's crazy, because it was obvious, like an animal made it. And you know, I never made any connection to what anything with that and had no idea so that that happened. And then the next time I was over at his house, we go and play in the field. It's a grayish day and it'll probably be dark in about a half hour, and we go through across the street, walk down the small driveway through this gate, and we're into this field. We start walking down this driveway and we hear what sounded to me like a tree being just ripped in half.

3:22 Just I mean just this loud, just not didn't sound like a tree fall, and it sounded like something being ripped in half. And so we climbed up this edge of this little pond and we were looking and didn't see anything. And then I'm looking at the ridge across across the street, and you can see this little black flash right and then the woods are dark, so this thing's darker than the dark woods. And you can see it just for a second, and then another second, and then it was gone for a few seconds, and then we're still looking and then I see it and it's this nine feet tall, dark man shaped thing that stepped over this barbed wire fence. It didn't rotate its hips, it just stepped over the fence and that fence. You know, I'm five ten. That comes up to my chest and it had to be nine feet tall. Otherwise we've been, like, you know, really misproportion. So it walks across the road, and this is seventy two, so the area is pretty unpopulated.

4:36 It was kind of the sticks back then. And it walks across the road and it steps into the field that we're in, and it's kind of like a valley, and there's long prairie grass covering the most of the whole field that we're in, and that stuff is so slicky and go flying down, and that's what we used to do as kids, is go up on hills and just fly down this stuff. So it starts walking down this hill, and I'm thinking to myself, there's a few things at that moment, like how is it not slipping as it's going down the hill. And I don't know why I thought this, or even if it was my thought, but I'm like, that's a person, not like a human person, but that was a person, and it's it's like more it's higher up on the food chain or more advanced.

5:31 And it had body language too, which is maybe why I thought it was a person, because it looked like it was pissed, you know, it was it had it was had its head down and it was cocked forward like I'm sure people have seen the pictures, but I mean this thing was cocked forward, bent forward like, and it was swinging its arms, and it looked like it was mad, and it was coming towards us. Didn't look like it was mad to where it was gonna rip us into pieces, but it was mad, like it was aggravated. And it comes up to it to about forty feet away, and we're just frozen, like what is this thing? Because you know, you can't make any features out. I couldn't see its face. It was just black and about when it was forty feet aways when we I don't know, we became unfrozen, if that's a term that applies. And we got out of there, ran jumped through the fen the gate, ran into the garage, and ran into his basement and boom. That was the end of it. And we forgot about it. We didn't tell anyone because you know, you're a little kid, and you you know, I don't know.

6:46 You just thought you saw something and didn't know what to make of it. So a couple of years after that, we're at the Dollar movie theater dropped off and what's playing but The Bigfoot, the Patterson Gamblin film, and the documentary that the guy from Mission Impossible narrated. So we're watching that, and I got the gist of you know, lockness, monster encryptid, Like I got that concept. So I'm like, that's what we saw. And then then like, oh, so no one thinks that these are real? And then and then I totally remember that vividly. But then when I saw the Patterson Gieblin film, you know, on a big screen like that, it was like, oh my god, because what I saw was nine feet high, considerably higher than Patty and built not like Patty. I would compare Patty like to as like a line in football, but what I saw was more like a nine foot power forward in basketball. It was like a lean, mean, fighting machine kind of a guy. And you know, after that point, I just did not think about it until my teens, when I duke around when I was sixteen that I was going to go on an expedition to find Bigfoot, and my girlfriend and my friends were all making fun of me. So fast forward a little bit, which is

8:17 really funny. In the nineties, you know, there were a couple of Bigfoot groups and I could swear I was part of Henry Franzoni's group back in that day, which was really kind of cool. So move on to more present day stuff. I moved into the house close to where I grew up, so I'm not out of the neighborhood from where all this happened. And keep in mind, this happened within a half a mile my elementary school. And I don't know how it could be that that a nest would be made right along the houses along the street. You know, it was within two hundred feet of houses, which is crazy. I don't understand how that could possibly be. But it was, you know, the nest was there. I saw him, you know, at a separate time, within probably fifty feet of where I saw the nest.

9:20 So I definitely linked those two together. And then later on in life when I moved out here, I had, I guess, been watching or heard of BFRO. So I made a report in around two thousand and eight or seven and it didn't get published, which was really weird. It was within a half a mile of another bigfoot report that you guys have talked about on this show, and that was right by the Missouri River, and these are these are right by near Weldon Springs where that that one guest was talking about. And then you had that guy and then another guy from CIMU Southeast Missouri Bigfoot and they're both talking about this parking lot by where there's a bike trail by the Katie Trail, and like that's where I ride my bike. Like this is crazy how it all like is working together here. But anyway, I filed that bigfoot report and they didn't didn't publish it.

10:25 But he gave me an a rating, which only really means that I saw a big foot. So I don't know why that wasn't published. So I move on to a little bit later on in life, and I'm working in my yard and I'm pulling up crabgrass with this toolless rake tool and my back is killing me and I can barely stand up. So I pushed myself up and as I kind of like twist and I catch myself and as my head's calling up, I'm something out of the corner of my eye. I was coming towards my head. So I moved my head and I see this calumn a static that had been arched over me, and it moves away from me, and as I'm looking at it, reacting to it, it reacts to me looking at it and then snaps into a like a rectangle and then just disappears. So that was like, I never associated that with Bigfoot. And so I started hearing some of the stories that people come up with online, or not come up with, but they tell online, and some of the things were a little, you know, really rhymed with what I experienced. So it's pretty weird. I didn't really associate that with Bigfoot. Because my neighborhood is on O Sage Land and we've got things that have been uncovered in our neighborhood that are fourteen and sixteen thousand

11:58 years old. There's a little bit of history. I kind of associated it with maybe a wood spirit or and we have mounds like mound builders, like the Hokiah. We have those in our area. No one talks about that, so that's kind of weird. The direction Bigfoot was coming from when I saw him in seventy two, there's mounds back where he was coming from. Not that he was interacting with him or whatever, but there might be something to that. Now. I'm sure you guys have all talked about mind speak, which is really some weird stuff. One thing about the mind speak, though, I drive by where I saw Bigfoot like two or three times a week, and I always give a shout out mentally, hey big man something like that when I drive by, so I never get anything back. And then one day I really cleared my mind and I really focused on it, and I said, hey, I'd like to hear from you, and I got something back. And more I thought about it is probably the most appropriate response. And the what I got back was one word and it was full. And then I see his point. And I'm not positive, but that's probably the guy who who I saw, judging by

13:31 the grumpiness and the tone. So there's some a couple of other things that that are a little weirder. So I've been listening. I'm sure a lot of people have seen Slash of Beauty, and you know both of the you know, the first one and the second one is on the paranormal stuff. And you've listened to a lot of interviews, you know, you'll know that a lot of people have some mind speak and some telepathic relations ships to Bigfoot, which I always thought was complete nonsense. And I'm being kind, but now I don't think that anymore. So I tested it over the summer and I got some interesting responses, and I said, I've made a real effort.

14:18 I'm like, hey, if you're around, give me a sign. The next morning, there's a owl feather at my back door right as I walk out the door, and I'm like, okay, and I'm like, that's a sign, but I could be a coincidence. And I had just had a tornado go over my house and it loosened some boards on my siding, and a raccoon and his baby found a way to get into my attic and I had to hire a company, and they sprayed some pheromones and stuff to repel the raccoon and. Big for society, who will be right back after these messages?

15:12 And I said, I said, made an effort. Hey, if you're around, can you take care of this. I don't want anything bad to happen to the raccoon. So the next day I'm watching and then the raccoon I didn't hear anything, so I did leave that night. And the next day I'm watching my my allotment of bigfoot videos and there's a bigfoot laying in a centerfold position with a raccoon, and I'm sure some people have seen that. And I'm like, what, like, you know, because it's like this is the day after that I asked for help with a raccoon, and it's like, that's what's coming up. I'm like, okay, the chances of that being there a coincidence, like I don't know, man. And then that one I had said mentally to the big foot, Hey, man, you know you might be big and strong and interdimensional and intelligence and but I'm funnier than you. And then I left it at that. And then when I'm about to go for my dog walk, I said, hey, if you're around, blast me with an owl, you know, have an owl, just start hooting at me. And I leave for my dog walk walk out the back door, and as soon as I get to the front of my house and break the plane of my garage, the two girls next door start going woo hoo hoo, hoo hoo hoo, and

16:45 I'm like, are you kidding me? So that kind of ended my uh dealings because I'm that's a little concerning. I quit doing doing the psychic stuff after that one. That's a little too hardcore because the gist of that is that they could possibly control someone. And because you know, I know there's telepathy going on here, and you know, where does it start? Where does it stop? You know, how do you know what's going on? It's just there's a lot of questions. And now that I've I've come across a series on telepathy is called the Telepathy Tapes, and it has to deal with people with autism who don't have you know, speaking abilities, have huge amounts of velopathic, you know, skills. So the world is opening up a little bit here.

17:46 You know, I agree with you. There are some some weird, weird stuff happening in the last few years, and you have some really interesting connections that have happened through your life. Thank you for sharing them. How you know, I'm going back to the ground nests you found when you were six years old? How long or how much were those stretched out? If you were to say something was laying down in them? Oh, how big was it? Yeah? I would say like twelve feet, you know, twelve feet long, about as big as a queen size bed, maybe a king sized bed at the most, but longer. I don't know that those are beds, you know. The logic says, oh, yeah, sure they're beds. That makes sense. I don't know that that's not a portal, you know, with the sightings from both sides in the Missouri River, and if you drew a line, it would be I mean, you know, would they would connect and then you could Mine's not on the Bigfoot maps yet, but if you did it, it would be a line. They're crossing the river somehow. They're crossing the river.

19:15 And I don't know that that that bed couldn't have been a portal. I just don't know. And I don't think that they're crossing it by swimming, and I don't think they're taking the bridge. I could be wrong. You know, that's that's a really interesting, uh viewpoint, And I've never heard it brought up like that, like, hey, let's look at both sides of a river in their's sightings in there. Hey you got a straight line. That's pretty cool. I've heard of reports in Southeast Alaska where they have been seen swimming, but I mean people are here in metallic doors opening in the woods.

19:58 You know, yeah, yeah, yeah. Some some really weird stuff. When you saw that that tall figure. Was there any weird smells around the area that you remember. No, No, And that was weird and that happened so fast, and it's like I never even associated it until I started hearing you know, the how to Hunt stories? Is it really mostly from that? Yeah? Then then there's like then I opened up, like, okay, it could be that. So I don't know, but you know, I never associated the nest with Bigfoot until in the nineties.

20:39 I saw phenomenon on Discovery Channel or something where they just ran all sorts of UFO and Bigfoot and stuff, and I saw a segment where someone had come across the nest, and I'm like, that's exactly what I saw, and then and then like okay, because you know, even though I it was weird and I saw it right next to where I saw Bigfoot, I just didn't connect the two. I don't know why. I think that there's a possibility that's why that bigfoot corract that tree to scare me away from playing around in his nest or whatever you'd call it, because why would he come out in blow cover and expose himself and he didn't like I mean, he came towards me. You know, I saw it walk like two hundred and fifty three hundred feet, you know, towards me. Why would he do that unless unless you know, it was just scare me away from playing around in his nest area.

21:44 What I'm finding in some of these communities, especially in like western Illinois and in the eastern Missouri specifically southeast is weird. But it's like you put something out about this and then everyone comes out of the woodwork and they're like, oh, yeah, that, I mean, we had the story about town was this? Would you hear other stories that were similar to what you experienced or were they're like buddies in school to be like oh yeah, we had something weird too, or like that's just the town monster, you know. Or you know what, I didn't tell anybody until I was in my twenties. Until I was in my twenties, and then I got my you know, got my head handed to me a couple of times by being made fun of. But it's like, you know, I have a music business background. I got stories. If you want to hear story, I got stories. I don't need to make up a bigfoot story to sound cool to impress someone.

22:41 You know. That's like the last thing, because you just look like you're nuts, because we're not brought up to have quantum things in our life that we know of, you know. And I think that there's a lot of weird things that can't be explained if you don't if you're just someone who thinks that they exist without the WU. And I'm really being liberal with the WU term. But if you if you're just I guess an apist, you know, you're missing the boat. And then and then you know, part of this, if if you engage in it, it's like then it becomes like a religious thing, you know, And and then you're dealing with quantum beings. And now that I know that there are quantum beings right now now.

23:36 It makes me look at Carl Jung's psychology a little different, you know, with extreme emotion creating a being and and I'm using the term being really loosely here too, but you know, you know, you're dealing with angels and demons and. Gods small G and God dig G. So you know, I don't know, I've heard from from some of the interviews with the psychic people from The Flash of Beauty that they don't like to be referred to or compared to God, but they do worship a creator.

24:19 It's very that's very interesting. It's like the more that comes out there are so I don't know if there's more questions than the answers, but I feel that if you know, there are a lot of people that are scared out there because they've got made fun of, and it's understandable how that can be very traumatizing, because you know, you could almost lose a job or something. But I think if just everyone at once was just like, okay, here's what I know, oh man, we would be would be blown over with how many people have actually had encounters over the years. Yeah, I'm sure there's a good tend to one ten people who don't report it versus the one that does.

25:04 And maybe it's one hundred and one, maybe it's five. I don't know, but there's something you know on average, And yeah, I don't encourage people to go and tell your friends yourself to put I don't tell my neighbors. You know, it's just and I'm pretty sure I have a wood structure in the backwoods too. So and it's only one one tree that's just fit into another tree so suspiciously, and I would totally ignore it if I didn't have all the other stuff going. So, but I'm not you know, I'm not encouraging people to engage with the relationship because you don't know.

25:53 And you're saying the relationship between yourself and sasquatch potentially with telepathy. Yeah, I don't know what you're engaging in. You need to be prepared for whatever is going to happen. Absolutely right, The one, the one that I can feel around that has responded to my little stupid requests, to be honest, feels very loving and as ridiculous as that sounds, yeah, it feels kind of like a neighbor's you know, a neighbor that. Was always nice to you. You know, nothing like weird, but just you know, you can feel it. It's weird, and I don't know what to make of it.

26:42 That's that's fair. I know they exist. I know they exist for sure. And if I didn't have that, I couldn't have any of the other stuff because I would have to dismiss it, you know, purely as coincidence. There's no way I would, you know, but I know that they're real, and they're really big. They're really yeah, you know exactly. You know the thing about people who deny that they're interdimensional. It's like they can be seen from space if they're nine feet high, and you know, maybe they're six to nine feet, but you can see them from space. If if they weigh about seven hundred and fifty pounds, which is half a half a big moose. A moose eats about sixty pounds of vegetation a day, all right. I'm thinking if a bigfoot was purely an animal, it would need and then it's eating a meat too. From what I understand, it would need to eat you know, ten pounds of vegetation ten pounds of meat, I'm guessing just in a day. And you would see that would be obvious. Yes, with the amount of sightings, you would see scat you would see you know, deer carcasses or whatever, seating, you would see missing vegetation. You would see it all the time,

28:14 and you'd be able to see them from space. So there's there's something else going on. We'll look back in twenty years and maybe science will be far enough ahead where we can start to get stuff that's happening right now. But we just have no idea, you know. I think this whole like quantum stuff that gets brought up from you know, people like doctor Simmon Hein. It's just it's mind blowing. Oh yeah, you've probably seen it as well. It's just like, oh yeah, I mean, hey, that proves right there, Well maybe we're not. You know, this kind of explains how this stuff is happening and the people aren't crazy, you know. It's just it's a part of science we don't really get yet. So it's just watoethy go hand in hand in telepathy, that's for sure.

28:59 Absolutely, And it's just fascinating and I really wish these scientists and I understand, you know, they're trying to have a living and if they go out on a limb like that. They're gonna look really stupid for a while, you know, until they proved something exactly. There has to be some kind of driving force that'll be like, okay, everyone, it's time to focus on this. And that'd be kind of hard to get that to happen, I think. But I wanted to clarify something about the Weltern Springs area, right because you said so. When you say your sighting was close to the Weldon Springs parking lot, are you talking about that nine foot tall one?

29:42 Yeah, I don't know that the parking lot is Weldon Springs. It might be Saint Charles, but yeah, what I saw on my side of the river was nine feet. Oh wow, okay, eight and a half to nine feet. I mean it had to be. It is just if you can step over a barbed wire fence without rotating your hips, just step forward over it. Big for society who will be right back after these messages?

30:28 How big are you? Because it was four and a half feet that fence, right and your dangly bits are gonna get caught in that fence, in that barbed wire if you don't clear it. Yeah, that'd be bad news for people that aren't familiar with this area. You've referenced mounds a few times, like the Kahokiah. Yeah, would you be able to maybe share a little bit about what you mean by that or they that might be similar that other people might be aware. Of to you mean mounds, Well, yeah, are we. Talking about like like Native American.

31:11 Exactly native Native American burials, if that's what they are, burial mounts. Yeah, there's there's a few of them around, and they're not they're not always documented because they get e looted and you know, you can see them, see some of them driving down one forty one. And it's funny because we have there's a mound right across from my high school and you can see it. When it snows, it just pops right out of the woods. It's like, look at that and it is it is perfect. I mean, it's just like, oh, that is a mound. They're not as big as Kahokia, but yeah, they're they're around.

31:54 It is Kahokia the one that you can actually climb on top of. Yeah, Cookia in Illinois though that's about like an hour away. Yeah, they're over here too. I think there's some in Ohio as well. Yes, yes, the I believe the Great Serpent Mound I think is what we're referring to. But he thinking back over the years, Well, I mean you've already mentioned you've had some weird stuff happen besides the telepathy. Have you felt that weird stuff has also followed you home that might be connected to all this bigfoot activity as well?

32:38 If well, the feather was at my home and the tree structures right, you know, I go out, my driveway is like right there, but nothing inside my house and I'm not being talked to, which is fine by me, and I warned them. I'm like, hey, if you're gonna you know, some people would use the term zapp or if you communicate with me, it's like I've had a couple of heart attacks and be gentle and I've put that out there, so they might be giving me a little you know, retrieve. I don't know, but yeah, I don't encourage it so much anymore because I've got to get a handle as to what's really going on. Because if you're being tricked by I know there's interdimensional beings and they have teleopathy, So if you're being tricked by something that's not a dig flo that wants you to think it's a bigfoot that could be bad. So that's one of the reasons I'm not playing around right now. Yeah.

33:45 No, it's it's hard to play a game where you don't know all the rules right right, yeah, and you don't know how serious breaking those rules are. So oh yeah, yeah, yeah. Listen to some of the stories about people in the woods that piss them off, you know, having big rocks thrown and you know, having just their wits scared out of them. No, I don't need that. I think that they're everywhere though, to be honest, I think they're everywhere, and some of them are used to being around people, and the ones that aren't don't like being around people.

34:34 So when the researchers go like for miles climbing up you know, you hike for twenty miles, you know, those bigfoot that they might run into might not want to be around people. It's interesting how there is definitely a difference. Yeah. Some people, you know, they really get into it. They go hiking with that they're going to make tree knocks and play audio. But then there's some people where they're just going to get an eylon chair and sit down in a witted area and just be like, Okay, I'm going to read a book and see what happens. It's interesting the kind of stuff that happens to those people.

35:19 Yeah, I suggest if people want to see one, just go in the woods and do stuff that, you know, in places that they might be. Just do your own thing, though, and if you run into them, and you run into them, they know you're looking, which is weird, you know, and they know if you have a camera, you know, they know your intent, which is really strange stuff. It really is. With us. Yeah, that is for sure, having the sighting that you had of something that was like nine foot tall. Wait, you know back in the day, would you ever want to have a sighting of something like that again now that you're you know, grown as an adult.

36:15 I would love to see them again. And I think it would be a lot less scary most likely, But yeah, I would love to see them again. You know. It's it's funny. I came up with a couple of things that are the gist of Bigfoot, like you know what, kind of not necessarily what they are, but a couple of things. They don't use technology, they are technology, okay, and Bigfoot is something that they do, not what they are.

36:56 Is that a little too strange for you? That that is very interesting. Because some of the things that they do we attribute to technology. But I don't think that they're using any technology. I just think that that's what they are. You know, I don't know that we have quantum devices yet, but they they are quantum devices. That's really interesting to think about it, especially you think about how you know, batteries seem to drain around, you know, when you're in these areas and you know, boom, you lose your phone, you lose your just everything that's got a battery. Even some guys I've talked to where you know, they can't stir at their car the car battery goes out, or it messes with the computers, the computers that they have in their car, and you know, it's just it's really really weird stuff.

38:03 Yeah. Yeah, just like if you watch any of the ghosts paranormal shows, they get their batteries drained all the time. And I'm not so sure that people shouldn't be using some of the devices that they use just to possibly speak with Bigfoot. I don't know if that's a thing that could happen or not. And if you if you listen to the telepathy tapes, which I recommend if you're if you're into the the Bigfoot paranormal thing, this is going to be an intro into people researching real human telepathy, you know. And it's definitely a connection. And I'm not saying that go run and do this or try it yourself, but it's interesting and I'm wondering if any of the autistic kids who have exceptional telepathic skills could talk to them, because if you if you listen to the tapes, some of these and I'm only at like eight, I think there's like ten or twelve, they some of the kids talk about talking to God and talking to other other beings.

39:17 So I'm wondering if that's the thing. I don't know. It is. It is very interesting and it'll be fun, you know. I'm sure hopefully we'll get to the point where people in the future will listen to this and they'll be like, these guys had no idea and all they were just talking about was this like thing everyone knows about in science now that we can just look up in the encyclopedia. Hopefully it does get to that point. But it's just just wild, wild stuff. But Steve, I'm glad you're able to come on the show today to share what you experienced out there. Yeah.
