Roman reached out to me and wanted to share some interesting things that he's encountered over the years. How's it going tonight, Rome, Well pretty good.

0:52 Gim how you doing? Oh man, it's been a wild and cold time in Iowa. But I just I get through every day so I can talk to someone about bigfoot people low down here to you. Yeah, we're at like twenty degrees and that's bad enough for me. Oh man, hey, I say, we get right on into it. And Okay, we'll see where the conversation leads. But I'm just going to let you go ahead and take the floor Roman and share what you've experienced over the years. Okay. I grew up in Hfield County, South Carolina, and uh and I lived there my whole life the day I was born. I'm fifty one years old now, I was born. Had I got two sisters. I was the youngest, two older sisters, and he was raised. Yeah. We sat down at his dinner table and ate dinner every night.

1:40 Is his family went to church every Sunday. I had. My dad was he was a hard worker. He taught me growing up and get to you right and work hard. And that's just the way it was. Had I had the best mom and dad. Man. You know, every wish for But we grew up. I grew up right on Stevens Creek is Stephen's Creek. We think of a creek, you normally you think of something small, but Stevens Creeks more of a reservoir. Backs then it's a reservoir off the Savannah River. When I say creek, people run bass boats punching boats in it. We've got boat houses. I placed my dad's places right there on Marktown Road and it goes all the way back to Students Creek, and we got a road that goes down a big hill, and when you get down the bottom of hill, we've got like a big covered dot that's got a roof on it, and take a left and go up the creek.

2:29 And we got a couple other docks right there on the water and keep it pretty nice down there, and a lot of people come there fishing. And so after my actual encounter, my siding started doing some research, listening to other people's stories, started listening to your show and listen to other people tell their how their encounters right down. And after that, I started thinking back all these things that had had happened to me when I was younger, and that's where I like to start out at. Let's go back to when I was eighteen years old. Everything out here is pretty, you know, there's houses was in far in between, a few ass across the street, maybe a couple like smaller sub divisions where every house had acreage. But on our side of the road it's mainly bigger acreage.

3:10 And so you have one person lives here betwenty thirty acres. This person lived here twenty thirty acres. So it's pretty spread out. And when you get them to the creek, across the creek was mostly farm land and stuff like that. There still is that way on our side. You've got across the streets. Now it's got a couple of sun divisions and stuff like that. Anyway, I had met a girl over there and we started dating. And by the time it's for about a couple of years, and she ended up getting pregnant. I was seventeen when she got pregnant, and she up, we had the baby. It was tough being that young, little dad and going I turned eighteen. By my son, I guess he was about six seven months old. I had been over there at night and then he was, I think, having with trouble sleeping, so I ended up falling asleep in her bag while we were put him to sleep. I ended up waking up like one o'clock in the morning, and I'm like, darret, I got to go home, and I had walked over there that night. So when I left her house, you walk down this like long, big hill, and he got a couple of houses on the right left, and there's a shorter cut that you can take and take a right, and it goes down this big hill and it's got real dark, and it's got a couple of raves in the woods, like from the eighteen hundred or so. I'm thinking, man, I said, I ain't walking down that way, I said, I rarely walk away to the mark Jown Road and go the long way, then walk down that to speaking ways. Anyway, I get down to mark Down Road and I take a right, and I'm walking up toward my parents' house

4:42 and I hear something off in the woods. And back then I was like an abbid deer hunter. I lived for it. I love the deer hunting. And I'm thinking, man, I bet that's a deer coming this way. So I squat down in the road. It's trying to day load, thinking the deer might come up to the road and then walk on out. As I'm sitting there, all of a sudden, you just I just heard this. This thing started coming at me, just rip me here, the limbs ripping off trees, limbs snapping and breaking. And I stood up and I'm like, it's a bear. So I just took off, running as fast as I run, and this thing came up instead of coming up to the road. There's a like a ditch line the power line that runs down side of the road. And you know how these things are that this thing was just nothing but like BlackBerry vines and briar bushes, and this thing is just plowing through it. I'm running off. I'm running on the highway up on the on the hill and it's down in that ditch, is running just through the briars.

5:37 And I get all over my parents railway, which is as fast as I've ever runt of my life. And I stopped this first second and out here it's still scroll of deep huffs, it's breathing. So I take back off, run up about one hundred after I get my parents got some real big brick interest gates. As soon as you get here the driveway. There's about one hundred and more yards up to the house from there. So I took back off again and opened the screen door, trying to shut myself in between screen door and the regular door, beating on the door, and they finally didn't let me in. I'm like, oh, my bear chasing the other road today and anyway, so now that they're knowing what I know now, I don't think that was a bear because I'm listening to the stories that bear don't normally just go and just start snatching limbs down off trees, and I don't think they do anyway. But as much records as that thing was making, now, I could have turned back and look when I was running, but I figured if I turned my head while I was trying to run, it was slow me down. I was trying to just make sure I had the All thing I want to do is make sure I was running as fast as I could run. But anyway we're going, we'll go forward on up to the up to the actual siding. Anyway. I said that each property is divided twenty thirty acres, and then Nick's property every twenty thirty acres. And then you had my neighbor to our right hand side that he lived about halfway up on the right, and then his sister lived all the way to the back. She had a trailer about there. Look at the top of the hill right, But the way it is, it's pretty flat, and you know, until you get back to where the creek is, and once you get toward the creek, about

7:08 one hundred yards for you get the creek. It's a big hill going that goes downhill. And she lived right there at the top of the hill, on the right hand side, you know, on their property. And her name was Betsy. She was a good old, just good lady, but a tough old lady te man. And anyway, she don't come up to me. She's cut to me a couple of times and she said, Roman, she says, there's a there's a big foot down there. And then I just blew it off. I thought she was a little crazy on that one. And then a few months later she came back to me. She says, Roman. She had a three fifty seven bacrum in her hands. She said, Roman, there's a big foot down there. And she said, I was sleeping last night and I woke up. She said, it's something walked by my window. And she said, my window is eight feet off the ground. She said, I'm gonna go down there, and she says, things gloping in some cave down there somewhere. And she said, I'm gonna go there and I'm gonna shoot that thing. I said, basically, I said, ain't I said, there ain't no big Foot down there, you know. And I've never, ever, not one single time this whole time with everything going on, never thought bigfoot.

8:05 Never. I believe I've always believed in Bigfoot, but I didn't think there were any bigfoot around here. I thought they were all way off somewhere in California somewhere, a lot of that, and like the National Forest and the big the Big National Force and stuff like that. But anyway, so it's going to the day I had my sighting then on the creek. I spent a lot. I spent a lot of time down there. It's like my salvation there. I just it's so beautiful and quiet, and that's where I go to think and now when I got things in my mind. And also I have a little outcrop down there. It's got a lot of minerals and a little bit of copper and a little bit of gold in it. So I get in there and I like it there and dig and get my rocks, and there's gemstones.

8:47 It's volcanics, so it's I get find all kind of crystals and stuff in the rocks. So that's just fun for me getting in there and just be in the woods and there's times I'm going down there at one o'clock in the morning about and this is like deep woods something about, like this swampy down there. So even at one o'clock in the morning, I got there and by myself, and no problem. I wasn't wasn't scared. I always hear things when things walking in and making these weird noises, but never thought one single time it was a big bit or anything like that. One afternoon, I'm coming up. I've been there in my hole gigging and starting to get It's not dark yet, just starting to get dark. So I have my buckets and I come on up the hill. And when I get about three quarters away up the hill, I stopped. I'm taking like a little rest, but I'm bucking. The rocks are heavy, so I can only get so many yards. And then i'd set it down and take a break and get so many yards. But the last time I sat it down, I'm sitting there for a second and I started smelling.

9:45 It smelled like a skunk. I'm sitting there looking around. Said, man, here, it's a skunk right here. I said, man, it's got to be like right here. It spelt like it was like under my feet, that's how strong it was. And I'm looking around and about the time by this time I heard wow, damn loud holler. I didn't even have to look yet, And the first thing that popped in my head was the scump smell Betsy saying that down there. And I don't know it's somewhere during my lifetime because I lost fear. I just I don't have I just don't have it. But I think when I heard the things holler for the first time, I actually just had a almost like a smile and sparkle smirk on my face, meaning thinking, you got it the kidney. Don't get me wrong, it was I had the initial shot in the shock of it because that it was because I'm I got something right here hollering if you ain't supposed to. It's just I don't think you'd ever run in anything like that in your life. And it's sitting down of theirs, behind this, behind this holly tree, real thick holly tree, and it's just you can see it's just waving its arms and it's and it's just sitting there the steady just screaming and screaming at me. And I'm thinking somebody is messing with me. You know, the only thing is that I don't really hang out with anybody. I'm real, you know. I have a few friends, you I don't really hang out that many people. And most people that I hang out with and know me, you know, I wouldn't do anything like that unless everybody knows. Normally, I always got like a pistol on, you know, So that'd be dangerous to play a prank by that. But I'm still thinking possibility. It's sitting there yelling, and so I

11:19 figured I'm gonna say something funny or as stupid as this somebody messing with me. They're gonna laugh. So I said, big Foot, I said, I ain't got a problem with you. I said, I know this twenty two magnum my. I got right here in my way, probably what even in shade you. I said, just let you know. I said, if you come running at me, I said, I'm gonna shoot your writing the nuts. And they didn't laugh, and nobody laughed. It just case. Matter of fact. It's dropped down on all fours and it took all about forty more yards up behind this cedar tree and that thing I think about when it dropped down, it took off. I've never seen anything in my life as fast as that thing was. I said, no, right then, I knew it was definitely not nobody playing with me. So he got over there behind the see the tree, and it's sitting there, and it's I can see. I can never really get up like a good look at his face or anything, because it's always behind a bush. Like I can see it. I can see it, but just never in detail at one time because of the bushes that were staying behind. But they was sitting there and it started screaming and yelling and like that. I look at her at it, and I point toward my truck. I said, I'm going to my truck. My truck was at the top of the hill and it's like a little circle that would come in it goes up. It's kind of circling.

12:30 I had that point in facing out. He's sitting there and it's it's just steady yelling and raising hell and waving his throwing his arms and all over during place and shaking the tree that. Is inding behind. So I got open my truck door and I shut my door and I don't get I don't crank it up. A't got to leave anything. And like I said, I wasn't scared. I just couldn't shock. And so I'm just sitting there, just looking out the window there, just facing the hand on the stairwell, just trying to take in what was going on. After I got my truck get shut up. I didn't say, I didn't hear nothing else. So I'm sitting there. I sat there about ten minutes, and I'm thinking about it, and all of a sudden, the whole ass end of my truck just just it felt like it dropped down about eighteen inches and just bounced back up. And I looked at in my rary mirror and I didn't see anything. And I rolled my window down and looked around into the back of the truck.

13:24 I didn't say anything. But what got me was I was my truck was a thirty It was a Chevrolet DURAMACS thirty five hundred, and I know I already had one thousand pounds of walks in it back. So for something to be able to push my truck down eight ten inches, that thing that I had to weigh one thousand pounds got me. It was just three people could have jumped on the back of that truck not made it squat down two inches. So after it did that, I cranked my truck on up and went ahead and pulled on out of there. But after that encounter, I got to thinking about all these years that everything, A whole bunch of things started making sense to me after that.

14:06 If you knew the crap I went through for three or four years when I lived in a cabin right there on the at the top of the hill, and then when my encounter happened, my house had already burned down. My house burned down eight years ago. This My house had been burned down for a while when my counter actual calenter happened. But while I was living there, Man, I'm talking about it had to be in these subsquatches that they bout drove me insane. But I'm thinking the whole time before my encounter that those were black people messed around in my woods. So I'd be out there, I'm talking about, and I'd hear these owl calls. I'm thinking there's people making owl caols, And I mean you can hear people like walking in and walking in the woods, you know, and they're doing these alcohols and stuff. And I'm thinking there's people are trespassing on my place. So so night after night I'm out there. Man, I'm by this time, I done got, you know, pissed off, and I I just wanted to catch one of these people.

15:04 All I want to do was just catch one of them, is all. I wanted to find out why they're on my property. So night after night I get up there might be dressing in black and all kinds of stuff, and I'd hear them coming up walking through the woods and I'd get down there and lay down in the leaves and being for hours and hours, and they always I could never figure out while how they always knew where I was. I think, there's no way they know I'm right here. There's no way. And they were just like there was always there were always one step ahead of me. And I mean for gears. I mean you wouldn't believe the time. I mean it literally drove me crazy trying to catch these people. And that one night I had a friend of mine come over and he was gonna help me. I said, man, we got to catch these boats. So late that night I had an old flatbed truck out there at the top of the hill and him went laid under that truck, and I ended up falling asleep, like one o'clock in the morning or so. He nudged me any points, and I look up out of actors sitting on the trailer right there.

16:02 And I looked and you can see the silhouette and people like a few people standing there, but little you couln't really see them, and all because it was it was so dark out there, and you can see your handing from your Facebook. You look toward the skyline, you see them like standing there next to each other, moving around, walking around. Right there, big for society, who will be right back after these messages. So I told my friend, I sall right on the count of three, and I had a like a pump shotgun. It's like an eight shot to re grip REMI and I think he had one of my other shotgun, a pump shotgun. And I didn't want I didn't want to make keep that much noise. I just wanted to get out and thrunt up. I was cold bust on him on the head to put it in the shotgun. I just wanted to get one of them. Soon we jump out here wracks the shotgun and these things take off and that were time. I thought it was people, and and I couldn't even believe how fast they took off.

17:04 And then there's the running went around out loop I was talking about where I was part of that with my counter happened and there's a goalie on the other side of the driveway. It goes straight down like a four foot drop, and then it drops on down to about twelve feet And we had had an ice storm like a year before that, so this goalie was full of all these tree tops and limbs that had drunk off from the ice storm. And man, these two cats just took off just barely down through the here like breaking limbs, running through the tree limbs. And I'm thinking, man, we must have really scared the heck got them dudes. They practically killed yourself getting away from us, stinking. But it was always funny to me how fast and how how they were able to just run like that and the picts black dark and then run down and run through them tree limbs like that. I thought, some man, they practice killed herself getting away from us. Now that I think about it, I properly wouldn't. I'm just glad my buddy did it right there. Shot now, because if I had ran up that thing hit it ahead, I would have had kind of a surprise. After my encounter happened, me and my girlfriend went in there. We was camping there at the creek for a week. I think we can stay there and spend some time my mom. My mom.

18:12 She passed away a year ago, and my mom she was there. She was everything to me. I loved her morning anything in this world. And we were real close. And I think that's really the only thing I ever I really did fear was losing like somebody you love, or like my mother after she died, and I've had my dad. He's still around. He say, he's eighty six years old, and I've had to face the fact that that's going to happen. While she was before she died, we was down there, camping out out of the creek and they just enjoying the creek and going there all spending time my mom. And anyway, one night we was walking back up the hill and you can hear something walking in the woods out beside us, and it sounded like it was by pot but it was screaming. It sounded like a it sounded just like a woman's stream, like she was just a woman being this burger. That's what it sounds like. So I'm thinking, yeah, maybe my mountain lon even though I had seen the already seen the big Foot, if I didn't do that big but it's made in screams like that before that. But thinking about it now, this thing was breaking limbs and all kinds of stuff. Of cougar wouldn't do anything like that, And we don't really have that many cougar around here, but cougar are pretty stealthy animals. I believe they wouldn't be just breaking limbs and walking that loud in the woods.

19:24 But it followed us all the way up the hill. And after you get to the top of the hill, go up a little bit further and my uncle he leves right in the middle, and we got a guard. He's got his big garden, and across from that we got another big garden right there. Plant every year, and it always stayed back on the tree line and swore you couldn't see it, and it would sit there just screaming bloody murder. And hell got in the house and went to bed, and all night that things walked around and around the house, sit there screaming like that half the night. And this went on for a couple of weeks to the point where you know, we actually put staying at the create. We went in there and started staying at my mother's house. And my mama come waiting me up in the middle of the night into like Rome.

20:08 She says that that things, that cougar cat or wherever that thing is. She says, out there in the front yard under my windows, screaming. And I got up and I think she's out there just raising hell. And I went when I was looking, get the flashlight and I looked, but it would always be just right inside the trees. Never I can never see it. So I went and backed up. We got a bunch of security cameras, so I backed up the scurity cameras and I'm looking for her, maybe a cat or something there. But at the time, but I could I remember a couple dur a couple I think places on the table. You can see like a big like a dark shadow or something back behind the tree. But I was thinking of sounding like more like a cougar because I didn't, like I said, After listeners like your show and listening to other people's subscriptions, talking about it sounds like a woman screaming. Now I realized I was probably that big foot there see, and of course the noises being walking around them and probably had to be the subsquatch. But after my mom passed, I quit going down there for a little bit. Here in the last couple of months, I've started going back down to the creek, back to my hole, and I started digging again about two months ago. It's hard for me to get down there for a while and good, eating good at my mom's house and even see my dad, you know, just because the memories. But actually I think they're still down there, because the last couple of times I've been in there digging about time it starts getting dark, you start hearing the alcohols and they start going off and and there you can get the different I used to.

21:35 I used to turkey hunt with Jackie Blessed that he was the full time world champion turkey caller, and one of the things you do in a turkey calling contest is the owl caol when owls like they're real girth to love girth, that's what they sound like. I'm thinking, even when I was out here in the woods trying to teach these people. I was like, man, that's the worst alcohol I've ever heard them, big buss but it's think I am like, absolutely insane. They were probably selling tickets to go watch me out there, crawling around out there like an idiot. That's what I feel like now that I know what I know. But most of it got anything you want to ask me about that? Roman, Definitely I was letting you go. Man, that's some incredible things that you have experienced over the years. You shared a lot of really personal things, and I want to thank you for being open enough to share some really personal things. Besides the bigfoot interactions, I was thinking about the owl calls. So it sounds like what tipped you off is that the owl cal itself was just so ridiculous sounding, not that it.

22:39 Was like yeah really loud, Yeah you can tell, yeah, yeah, real bad. I definitely went out. I was always thought it as a person, I thought there were people on my place doing these alcohols. Wouldn't let them they wear each go and work. I can never catch them. But now I know that it was probably not a uh, they probably weren't people. Looking back, now I can one thing. I'm pretty good into woods. I can wat the walk very quiet. I used to and I used to hunt. I used to hunt time I was stalky, knockbo, that's beat stop. And I can figure out by the likes of me, I can never see you. It was making all these walking through the woods, making all these calls. I said, now, it's probably because of wodn't people. So I feel I feel like I'm a idiot now and knowing what I know now after my encounter and knowing that they do alcohols and stuff like that.

23:24 Oh, absolutely, hindsight is twenty twenty for sure. What would you say is the most recent interaction or that you would attribute to Bigfoot. I would say about two weeks ago when I got down I was down there digging, and I'm sitting there. When I'm in my whole, I'm like, I have a hammer and a chisel, cause you know, it's an outcross a rock outcrop, and I'm sitting there hammer and chiseling away. And then I start by the time it starts getting dark and you start hearing these alcohols, and there's a where our place is. There's an island that's right across from our place, and the creek goes on both sides of it. And this island is probably about the size of about one and a half football fields, and it's got just huge trees and just real thick even during the wintertime, it's thick. You can't see in there, and that's where a lot of some of the calls are coming from. Oh so, yeah, I got monoculars and I was looking trying to look through there a couple and I saw a couple of things in there when I was looking through my monoculars. That kind of leads me to think that it's a perfect place. Nobody ever goes on his islands. Nobody ever goes on his oland.

24:35 We kind of things, did you notice through the binocular. I was looking through my monoculars, And the first thing, one thing I always one thing one of my hobbies was always is like looking to just see how far I can, like look through into the woods. You can sit there and when you focus in on which your monoculars, you want to find a gap in the trees, and then you want to try to just take your mind away from everything else around it. You want to try to focus on that one spot going through too thieves, you know what I'm talking about, Because in order to focus in on behind it. You had to get out of the focus with the main feature to be able to look deeper and deeper. But I saw something it looked like like maybe a head sticking out from behind the tree. But I said, I could just be a limb or bush sticking out side of the tree also, And so I sit there and I just sit there and watch it and watch it. And then it moved and just be seeing it go in toward the tree.

25:24 That's huh. So that's one thing I looked for. And then after it moved, I started looking down. I went over to the next tree, and then I saw it at the next tree right beside it, okay, And then I sat there and watched it for a while, and then it didn't move, and I turned it looked to the right, and then I swing back just to see if it would move, but I looked away and then when I had to look back at it wasn't there anymore. And then I looked down and I saw it down toward the bottom, lower at the bottom in the tree. So there was definitely some movement going on in there. I can't say, yeah, it was a soft squats, but I think. It is very interesting. Sing you mentioned that Betsy is Betsy's still alive. Yeah, she still alive. She moved after that, Yes, she moved, and she was down there all the time. She did, and she was for her to come to me and just tell me something like that. She seemed pretty rattled about it. She's pretty upset about it.

26:16 Betsy's got stories, yeah, no question. Yeah, I bet she does. I bet she does. I can get older. In fact, I had talked to her sister in law, eight sister in law the other day, and she had give me Betsy's number because I've never talked to Betsy after I had to run in with it, so I wanted to call Betsy and tell her, you know what I ran in that thing up to hell. So I've been really meaning the I worked so much. I worked all the time, like six seven days a week. Feel free to pass on my info if you ever get to talk to her. I would love, yeah, will I like. I love to know a little bit more of myself now. I think if I tell her that she's probably she'll probably opened up a little bit more after I kill her. I had and she's singing to you know if people are on a I didn't tell too many people like this first thing, might I want up my dad house?

27:00 And I wasn't, like I said, I lost my fear factory, a long time agot. You know, in order for me to be afraid of something, you had to like, I don't fear death. I know what's going to happen, and when it's your time, is your time. So and I had a really bad rake, like years and years ago, as I was in my brand new f two fifty, I was going up Mark Karrall. I had been moblogging to my jeep, I said, doing it about eighty five my brour and I was my girlfriend at the time. I was talking to her and she could sheoose bad at We just kept him hanging up on me. So I sent her message my phone and I went off Soda Road and I hit a concrete covert. Hit head on the concrete covert. I went in every end over one hundred and twenty five yards down this inbatement. Dude, I hit eight trees. The truck was I mean nothing left up the truck. The roof is so flat, the stem and smashed down to up seat, I mean phone, everything in that truck was just being destroyed. And I was standing there on the hood of that truck when it stopped without a scratch on me and thinking, what has happened? Wow, you're lucky driver. Next day he was, he was on his hands and he's had my shirt going.

28:03 You got some kind of purpose, You got some kind of purpose and said, I've been driving a record eache for twenty years. Said your truck's talked too much of story, vicais I've ever seen in my life and said you ain't tell you? Yeah, I mean it was definitely some of divine intervention. Yeah. I shouldn't even be alive. I should have hamburged me. But something, man, I don't pursue whatever reason, it saved my life. That's wild. Roman. People were bringing me. I had people bringing me parts of my truck, having me autographed. Oh yeah, like, man, when you autographed this for me. I found this tennis ball in a direct and had me a silent fans ball, any part of my truck they could finally laying in the gig center there. That is so weird.

28:44 It's crazy. Wow, makes you think about each day for sure. Yeah, definitely, But that just made me realize that when it's your times, this your time and right in with my time. So absolutely my foss. Coming out of hill and big Foot when I run around and killed me, but it would have been my time I went out with my boot song. That's the exactly right the area you were talking about where you dig for rocks. Do you guys have granite in that area? Yeah, we have a whole lot of granite. Really yeah, a lot of granite, a lot of quartz. See, there's several gold mines up the road. You got the dor mine you know, which was in McCormick back in eighteen hundred US A pretty good a bit of gold, and I think there's a couple of other mines around there.

29:27 And that outcrop I got, I was happened to just be looking into Golie one day and I seen a rock formation opening in Clayland. I started digging, and man, it was just like orange and green and blue and just every color of the rainbow. And this rock big for society. Who will be right back after these messages, there's a few I've talked to I don't even think on record where they've mentioned they have hypothesis that massive amount of granted could be related to Bigfoot type things. And I think it might even come up in some missing for one one stuff too.

And let me tell you, I've had some serious anybody's gon run into a big foot, it's gonna be me because I've had some serious encounters with some spirits. And when one time met my wife, we had like a spirit in our house and see that they clawed her all up right there. When I really, oh dear, and I was trying to grab her and older and protect her and from it was there this cla all across her back everything. I stuck it and he believed it. But we had a guy who stayed there in our place that helped my dad, and he stayed in the camper in the creek. His name was David, and my dad he owns a bunch of properties all over the place and has rental properties. So he helped my dad. He was like his handiman, and he stayed on the camper, and the dad provided him attle place to stayed down there. And he liked to drink a lot, and one night he drank a little too much, and I guess he had they'd phoned in the creek and he drowned in the creek. And anyway, years later, me and my girl I was taking at the time, we were upstairs. I had a big sliding glass door going out onto a balcony out there at my house. And I looked up the glass and I said, man, there's a David. I said, he's standing there something something like.

31:48 I could see him and some other guy in a long beard. He was real white face, and David the skin was green. And she said yeah. She said, he's laving at you right now. And by the time she said that, he was throwing his hand up waving at me. I said, you can see him, and said, yeah, but yeah, today, he's been dead for fifteen years and he's sitting there waving at me. He saw it. No, she waving at you. I used to see ghosts in there, all kind of spirits all the time. Down there. You said that you're in pretty close proximity to some burial grounds. Yeah, looks at the Indian barrel on my dad's place, and we got I got an area he collection, I got both. Yeah, yeah, I got all kind of stuff, you name it. I got an area.

Yeah, So there used to be the main campus right there our place if you look at them out where this would have been seven eight thousand years ago, these Indians. So there was a there was like an encampment type deal. Was that there was like a main like a village type deal you're saying. Or yeah, up on the flag and then he had to creak down like city camps would have been up there on the top of the hills. Sure, the niest ever would put their camp from on the slopes, always on the plants. That's where we find most of artifacts.

I wanted to talk a little bit about so that the night when you saw the creature and you yelled at it, and then it ran away on all fours. Yeah, it didn't run allway. It just went up about thirty yards and got behind a nother tree started yelling some more. Yeah, so the can you describe, like what you noticed from the way it was yelling, Was it just a sound or language or it was it. Was more as yelling and it wasn't And it wasn't all farotias like a lot of people will say. It was just it's just raising like it's pissed off. I gotta think so maybe it got strayed by the skunk.

It was just like frustrated today because it smelled just like a skunk I'm talking about there Always people always try to describe how would it smelled, how the odor was, But this thing smelled if you've ever rode by a dead skunk on r on the highway, no different than that. It was identical to the smell of dead skunk on the road. Did you notice or can you remember any weird details about what you saw? Yeah, it was it was like a real It was like a chocolate like a more like a chocolate color color, a dark, real dark brown black, maybe mixed a little bit, or could have had mud on it on it, but it was real dark. And it had definitely had some long arms, because that's one thing you could see they just flapping and flying away. And I can never really tell.

34:57 I can never really get a good height guess on it because the way that the terraineans of all the hills, you got gilts and all kinds of stuff to say where I was standing in the road coming up, so you got like a little three foot bank right there, and then it was like over the hump and behind the holly tree right there. Going it slopes back down to the right, you can get over that little hump, and it was behind that big holly tree right there. And then after I said that to it, I didn't know if to understood me or what about me shooting. But it's getting a little bit more distance between what it ran over behind that Caesar tree then, but it was sitting there and just grab had grabbed a hold of it, you know, and it was like, I guess you're stepping over both hands and grabbed a hold of the lean on each side. It was just sitting there, just shaking the tree. And when it went in the other direction and it started really definitely took any sphere and in the way it was yelling too, and it wasn't like real sphere. I guess that this could have been like a maybe a juvenile maybe because it didn't have the It didn't sound like it had the lung capacity like some of these some of the other descriptions some of the other people say, it sounded like it didn't have that. I didn't feel it when.

36:03 I think one of I would have to say. The part that really got me was that it ended up following you up to your truck. Oh yeah, that's that surprised. That really did surprise me. And it had to be that creature because there's nothing else I could have, you know, thirty five hundred dermacs. It's got pretty stout suspension on it, absolutely, and like I already already had a thousand pounds of rocks in the back of it, so it was already compressed pretty good before it jumped on the back of it. For to drop down that far, that's what really got my attention. Right there, I said, Man, that thing is bigger than I thought it was so they had they had to be heavy. Oh yeah, I don't think it jumped on the truck. I think it because they went down so fast and came back up so quick. If he would have jumped on it, it would have been went down and then pasta came out. I think what it did it we came up and put his hands on the back of my tailgate because I had a tool body on a body on the back of it. Okay, so it's pretty stout tailgate. Didn't know it's hard, still solid still, So I think he just put his hands on the back of the gate and shoved down on it. And that's what it felt like to me.

37:05 Thinking over the years when it sounds like there's been many times when you've heard things in the woods. Have there ever been times where there was a sound you heard and it just it confused you and you were like, I, this sound shouldn't be here right now. Yeah, many times we'd be out there and I heard this thing one night, making this real weird kind of I don't even know if I could start and describe it. It was a I'm like, what in the world is that? But it would always do that, and it would be there in that ditch down there making that noise. When it was it real loud, but it was I've never heard anything making no noise sound like that. I love that there, and I sat a countless night. I loved to sit outside at night and just listened up the creakings and the sounds of the nature. Absolutely, and so my whole life has been sitting outside listening. When I hear noises like that, I've never heard before. But at the time, I wasn't thinking the Bigfoot.

38:05 Yeah, exactly. When once you get aware that could be an issue in your area, your outlook kind of changes. Have there ever been any sightings of I don't know if you've ever heard of dog man before, like a creature that kind of has a canine look to it and it's on two legs. No. I know that they probably exist, but I had never seen one of those. By the stories I've heard, I hope I don't. Well, that's I'm gonna I was going to say, count yourself lucky that they're not in the picture that you know of for sure. That's good, Yeah, that I know of? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Back then I was always packing some serious but guns. I always had to do three guns on me, big shotguns that my wife I had three hundred win mag you i'd always keep on me when I was down there. That's a that's an elephant rifle. There, that's a begun. I killed my first dear with that gun when I was like eleven years old, and that's that's bigger than a little bit bigger than his mag.

They owned a lot of several hundred acres and they said they filmed some little tps and stuff like that over the place. Really, and there's a lot, there's a whole lot. I'm still there's a lot of national forest and the like bike They turned it and turned them into bike trails now, so it's used to be like game management hunting. Now they're like bicycle trails through the woods. And it's back behind where we're on our side. Man, it's still nothing. But people they own hundreds and hundreds of acres of land are not selling it. They don't want it to be developed. And I like it that way, yeah myself as well. It's we got to we can't lose all the land.

42:09 Yes, good evening, Jeremiah. Thank you for having me on and inviting me to share my incident that I had Again. My name is Alfred. That's just a little bit of my background. I'm a na person. I had been doing it for forty years now and I turned me reside in Connecticut. So my stories was back in nineteen eighty seven, my wife and I had visited some friends up in Seattle, Washington, and what happened was they do on our stay, some of us decided to go hiking up at Mount Rainier, and I was really excited about it because I love the outdoors. I like camping. I've been fishing and doing all that so of stuff. Since I was a teenager back in the late nineteen seventies, my friends and I would go hiking up New York at the Catskill regions most of the time. But anyway, this particular story, we had going out to do a hiking tour in Mount Rainier and we ended up at this place. There was a parking lot. We parked, and as I mentioned my story, there wasn't too many cars around. There must have been maybe five other cars in the area, and we started walking through one of the trails that one of our friends was familiar with. There were six of us, my wife, myself, and two other couples, and about a little way into the hike, we came upon a rest area and there were some bathrooms, so everybody decided to go to the bathrooms,

43:43 and I decided to keep walking down the trail. I must have walked a field, but felt maybe just a few blocks. I mentioned there was about a nah of a mile, and the reason I mentioned that was because I'm an avid runner and I can judge distance pretty well, I think. But anyway, as I was walking down this trail, I heard some noises in the woods like trampling and just I heard some leaves rattling, and I decided to go and investigate. And at first I thought it might be maybe some other hikers. I didn't think it was animals or anything like that at the moment. So anyway, I decided to go into the woods and I began to smell. I mentioned my story that I smelled the stench that was really bad. It was like a body older and it got stronger stronger as I was getting into the woods.

44:37 Big for a society will be right back after these messages. And it wasn't skunk, because I'm familiar with the outdoor animals and I know what a skunk smell. I was like, this didn't smell like a skunk. I mentioned that I used to live in New York City and it reminded me of a homeless person basically. But anyway, I think that about fifty feet into the I went off to trial. About fifty feet into it, I saw a group of trees that must have been maybe about six trees. There were pretty large pine trees and they were all grouped together.

45:28 And then I saw something that was moving and I couldn't figure out what it was at first, I thought maybe there was some huge squirrels or maybe some type of an animal, because it was two of them and they were pretty far apart. One was on top and once at the bottom. And I kept getting closer because I was trying to figure out what type of animal it was. And as I got closer, I saw this huge thing just I guess it went to its right, so it would have been my left. It piered and I saw this huge thing picking out and I didn't know what it was. At first I thought it was a bear, but I said, no, it can be a bear.

46:13 It was too big to be a bear. Okay. So then my mind was running one hundred miles an hour because I'm trying to figure out what the hell is this And I knew it wasn't a person because it was huge. Again, I know distance. When I was in high school, I used to high jump. I'm five ten and I was able to high jump six feet, so this thing must must have been eight feet or taller. Okay. And again when it leaned over, then I realized that the two things that I saw moving was its right arm was holding onto the tree, and the bottom part was part of its leg, almost like the knee part, and it looked at me and we locked eyes, and I think that the that moment lasted I would say maybe thirty seconds, which is not that long. But it felt like an eternity because I saw its face. It had almost human facial features, and it had red eyes, but the eyes were not bright like you see on some videos. People at Nither'll show these eyes. They almost looked like flash and I no, this thing had almost like bloodshot eyes like you would see. And I a drunk person, and it looked at me, and I looked at it, and I was panicking because realizing that this thing was huge, I said, oh, this thing, it's not a person. It's not somebody in a costume, because I would have been able to tell that's the custom or that's somebody in something. But again, it was so huge.

47:46 That's why I knew it wasn't a person. And then a few minutes later I heard my party catching up to me. It was my wife and the other two couples, and then this thing looked towards the direction where they were coming behind me, and then it just slid away and it walked up. It was like that part of the woods went up started going up the hill, so it just walked away, and then I moved to my left to try to get a better glimpse, and I was able to see between the trees, and it just kept walking up, and then at one moment it stopped. It looked to it right, and then it just kept walking and it disappeared. And then that's when the rest of my party caught up to us, and I don't know what to do. I don't know how to explain to them that I had seen something that I couldn't explain, because again, I don't want to be ridiculed. I don't want to be made fun of. And back then, this was back in nineteen eighty seven, we didn't know anything about bigfoot. Back then, I didn't know. I had never heard about bigfoot. Even when I used to go camping with my friends, we never heard anything about bigfoot. Didn't know what it was. Again, later on, later in time, yeah, I started hearing stories about Bigfoot and stuff, but I ever thought that's what I saw, because, to be honest with you, I wanted to get it out of my mind because the only thing that it reminded me of was a creature that when I was a kid, my family used to mention a creature from my childhood that

49:20 sort of people saw back in the motherland. I was born in Central America, and my father would tell us stories that there was this creature in the woods. I'll give you the name. It was called La Sijuanava, And basically this thing was a hairy monster, and it was a female because supposedly it has breasts, and it was hairy, it was huge, it has the From what I understand, the right leg is supposed to be a chicken leg and the left leg is supposed to be a horse leg. And the story was that if you were in the woods and then this thing came out at you, you were not supposed to turn you back to it, because if you turned your back to it, you will become insane.

50:06 It will do something to you. I know it sounds ridiculous, but as a kid, this was the fear that they put in us. So anytime that we didn't think wrong, they would tell us, oh, they're going to bring us to the woods and leave you there, so this thing will get you. So that was the only thing that crossed my mind. But again I was an adult. I was in my early twenties and no, it can't be. It's a myth. But that was the only thing that I can compare it to. So I joined my party and we kept walking. But the whole time I was so afraid. I was glory the whole time, and I was always looking around. I heard noises, and I was always just cautious, just in case this thing came out and tried to attack us or something. And to be honest with you, if it did come out and approaches, I would have just grabbed my wife by the arm and I would have ryan out of there because I knew this thing was huge and there's no way all of us would have been able to fight this thing.

51:00 And then we eventually we made it back to our car and we ended up going back to our friend's house where we were staying, and that was the end of it. And I never mentioned it to anybody. I told my wife this story, I think maybe a year afterwards, and she thought that maybe it was just a bear that I saw. But I know what I saw and I know that was not a bear. And to this day, I have seen a lot of videos that I have seen movies, and yeah, as I got older, I realized, you know what, I think maybe it could have been a big for what I saw. That's a fascinating story, Alfred. Thank you for sharing. I know you just said that you really haven't shared this with anyone, and I appreciate you sharing it on the show.

51:47 Going back to that time when you were able to look at it for a bit, do you remember anything about the color of the hair of what you saw. Yeah, this thing was like a reddish brown, because again when I saw the arm and what was I guess the knee moving and I didn't know what it was. At first I thought it was maybe like a red squirrel, but I'm like, it was too big to be a squirrel, because again I couldn't make out what it was because it looked like the hand was hugging part of the tree and it was shaky, like trembling. And then the knee was the knee was just staying put. It would just move from side to side. But again because I hadn't seen the whole thing, I couldn't make out what it was. But it was like a reddish brown.

52:31 Yeah, okay, gotcha. So after you were able to see exactly what you were looking at, you realized it was just one creature. Then it was yeah yeah again when it appeared to the right and I looked at it, I saw the face, I saw the head, the shoulders, and actually it was just part of it. It was just the right shoulder because it didn't step out, it just leaned to the right. But again, it was so huge that I had to look up to see this thing, and I was just amazed. I was I didn't know what to do again because my mind was like fighting to try to put I guess the reason what is because I couldn't figure it out is not. I know it's not a bear, and if it was a person, there's no way it could be that big.

53:18 Oh, just you know, do you remember anything about the length of the hair at all, or any about the hair? It was hairy, It wasn't how do you say it wasn't. The hair wasn't cropped or short. It was actually really shaggy. It's funny. It almost reminds me of a Chewbacca from Star Wars. Basically that's what it almost looked like, except reddish brown. The face I remember, the phase was almost human, and I remember the eyes were also really far apart. That was another thing that I remember that The eyes were not like a regular person who would be like maybe one eye distance in between this thing. It was like I was saying, maybe there was like four eyes in between the first eye and the other eye. And then it was like a grayish color the face. And I know it had lips, it had a mouth, but it wasn't moving. The mouth wasn't moving. The nose was the nose. It had a nose, and I remember the nose was a bit, I guess because it was breathing.

54:23 It was flaring a bit. You can see the nostrils moving. And it was not like the nose was proportional. It wasn't like I guess, like a It wasn't like a gorilla that it's really huge extending. It was almost like a proportional human nose, but to its size for that face. Would you say, was there a hood at all, like a hooded nose or was it more of a flat nose. Or I don't understand what do you mean hood? It wasn't flat. It was almost like a I guess, almost like a human nose, but just huge in proportion to its face. Okay, okay, gotcha. You said you saw the mouth. Was it a larger mouth or smaller mouth or do you remember anything about the mouth portion of the face.

55:08 The mouth was basically just it didn't have the mouth. I don't remember seeing the lips, like I guess he human lips. It was almost more like a flat I guess you would saying, like a flat mouth. There was no shape to the lips. It was just like a line. But it was gray. But you could say because you could actually make out that it was a mouth. And then it had it because it was hairy. It looked like it had hair where a mustache. Would be at any time. Did you see the mouth open so you could see the teeth of the creature. No, just that was the other thing. It did not move then, but I did hear it before I saw it. It did make a noise, which at first I thought it was a bear. It sort of looked like some sort of a I guess, like a grunt noise. It sounded like it took a breath. It one something like aw and then something something to that effect like that.

56:01 But the grunt was sort of a It was really how do you say, not loud but verberated, like I can feel it. How you can feel it in your bones almost. It was that loud, but it was like really low and muffled, but I felt in the grunt. I felt it before I felt it as I heard it. It kind of it sounds crazy, but it was that low and muffled that it was that I felt it. I don't think that's crazy at all. When you felt that reverberate, what did it evoke any emotions in you? Did it make you feel a certain way. It's funny. Like I had mentioned on when I responded, I'm a big martial arts artist. I've been studying martial arts now for like maybe wow, forty years now. I've been doing martial arts, and I know I can defend myself.

56:53 In previous years, I had been I had had situations when I had been confronted by multiple people, and I've been able to defend myself. But when I saw this thing, I was afraid because I knew there's no way I could defend myself against this thing. No way. In my fear, it was just for my wife's safety and my safety. To be honest with you, I was hoping that if this thing came out, it would go after one of my friends that was my thing. My thing was I'm going to run out of there with my wife and let them get eaten or get whatever, because I wasn't going to take that chance. It sounds like you were in self preservation mode for sure the.

57:37 Whole time walking to that. The hike lasted about two hours, I believe the whole time. I don't think I enjoyed the hike because I was apprehensive every little rowase I was always looking around making sure that this thing wasn't fallow or it wasn't running after us. Do you remember anything about the area of the face above the eyes, like the forehead area. The forehead It was the forehead was huge, actually, because the head was almost pointy. It wasn't like, I guess, like a regular human head. I remember it was plinty, not like a football, but that shape it went up and pointed to the top, but not really let's a cone.

58:20 It just almost almost like an oblong shape. And I don't remember seeing ears because I guess maybe because it was so hairy, I couldn't see any ears. I don't remember seeing ears because again I was trying to I was trying to make sense of trying to match it with something that could be explained like let's say, maybe a bear. But no, so during the time when you were able to look at it and you had eye contact, did it have an emotion in its face at all, or during that time when you had eye contact, where you're feeling any emotions at all. I was afraid, I felt feeling, but I don't this thing wasn't afraid or it didn't show any fear. Again, it only lasted thirty seconds or the last few days.

59:11 And as it was looking at me, I remember it was. It blinked a few times, but it was just staring at me like it was not afraid or concerned. It didn't make any effort to, at least now during that moment, to run off or anything. Now, it was just this thing was sure of itself. Because again when my friends started coming up behind me, it looked and it was their direction, and then it just slid away. It just walked away, and then I just saw the arm disappear, and then the knee went away, and then it just started. I heard the noise and then I went in a bit to my left to try to get a better glance, and then I was able to see between the trees, and it just walked away going up the hill.

I did see the right It looked like the right arm in the hand and I could see that you can see almost like the palm, and it was copped. But I didn't see fingers when I saw its arm in its hand because it was really hairy. Also so the hairs covering any form of digits.

1:00:50 But when it walked away, yeah, I did see what looked like a hand and it was I could see the back of it because it was walking away from me, and they were right arm was moving. I couldn't see the left arm because it was covered by the other trees that I so basically saw its right side from the back as it walked away. Did you notice anything interesting about the arms. The arms were? The arm that I saw was pretty long. The arm, yeah, there was another thing. The arm was pretty long. I would say maybe yeah, the arm was a bit longer. It looked longer than a regular human arm. How far down the body would you say the arm.

1:01:32 I would say it went up to probably up to its knee. Okay, you were able to see it walk away, sounds were able to see the feet. Did you notice anything about the feet of the creature. No, I didn't. I couldn't see anything by the feet because I guess of the growth in the area. So as it was walking away, there was I guess, like shrubbery and stuff, so I couldn't see pass I guess its knee, and below that part I guess the back of the leg it to was a belowly I couldn't see because of the shrubbery. As it walked away and it was walking up, I only saw I would say half of it. It's the right half with the armed down as it was walking up the hill, and then again our REMEMBORI stopped for a second and it looked to the right, and then it just looked back straight and just kept walking disappeared.

1:02:26 Anything weird about the gate of the creature or how the it was actually moving, the way its legs moved, things like that. I can remember anything like that. But I do remember that when I first heard it, and also when it walked away, when it took its steps, you can hear it as it crushed the growth underneath that it was heavy. It was heavy because you can actually hear the you can walk. It wasn't troubling. You don't make some mouse, but this thing really made noise as it broked away.

1:03:06 If you had to estimate how much it weighed, what would you say? Wow? Wait? Wow? It had to have been at least eight feet tall, because again I can the way when I was looking at it and I saw the tree, it was at least eight. I couldn't see its whole I didn't see the whole body, okay, because when we peeked at me, it leaned to the right and I saw part of the shoulder. I saw the face, so I only saw the right arm still falling to the tree. I saw the shoulder. And then when it went back and started to move away, and I tried to follow it a bit to see when it was walking away, I only saw the right half from its back. It was tall, weight easily five hundred pounds or more, I would say easily.

1:03:58 Was there anything that you say I saw that would make you think that it was a male or a female? I just was funny. I just assume it was a male. Sure, I didn't because when it was leaning over, I don't I didn't see any anything that would indicate I didn't see breasts, if that's what you mean. I didn't see breasts. And then when I was walking away, it was huge. It didn't look like a female to me. Basically, I don't know. Maybe yeah, I could be wrong, maybe you couldn't. But I couldn't see any features that would tell me or lead me to believe that it was a female. Were you able to see any anything under the hair muscle wise.

1:04:42 No, not necessarily muscle like I guess if you would see a bodybuilding now. But the arms were huge. That right arm was the width was really huge. I couldn't tell you how it was huge compared to looking at the arm, that right arm when it was leaning Yeah, the I could see the from the shoulder going down to the arm and the elbow, and then as it came around the tree it was huge, meaning thick. But I don't recall I can't remember seeing like muscles or muscle movement. Now, think back to what you were able to see of the face if you would, and is this a face that you would see when you're visiting the zoo or that you would see when you're walking down the street in the city.

1:05:35 No, not that you wouldn't see that in a person. Now. If anything, I would say, yeah, a gorilla. Maybe I've seen gorilla's up close. That's the only closes But a gorilla. The features a gorilla looks like the features, right, they're that hairy. Then the hair is really cropped and it's close to the skin and you can see the features like the noses flat pushed in. No, this thing was not. This thing was not an ape, if that's what you if you wanted to compare it to. It was definitely not I know where a gorilla and rangey tent or even a chimpanzee looks. No, this thing did not resemble any of that.

1:06:21 Interesting okay, so not not an epe. But no, that that was because that was one later after the incident, when we were still there, I was for days. I was trying to process it, trying to was it a gorilla. There's no gorilla, is nothing, There's no way, it's no way, no way. So my wife thinks that it was either a bear or maybe somebody in the suit. But there's no way it was somebody in the suit. Not that big no way. So remind me what time of year it was in nineteen. This was in August, Yeah, August, because we had got married in August of eighty five, my wife and I and basically that was almost our We were young at the time and so we didn't have a honeymoon, and that was almost like a honeymoon trip. So it was in August of eighty seven. And I remember that my friends had made a comment that that basically in Seattle you can actually go swimming and you can also go skiing at the same time because you can actually go up to the mountain. And I remember that when we went to the mountain, we had to wear almost like a windbreaker type of thing because it was it was colder up at the mountain than it was where we were staying. It was a colder day, but there wasn't snow in the area that we were hiking. But you can actually see higher up you can see the mountain, the peak covered in snow, but not where we were hiking.

1:07:55 What time of day again, was it that that you saw. Was like in the middle of the day. I think we got there like before lunchtime. And I remember that it was the lighting was pretty. It was decent lighting because the way there's it was like a little rain one moment and then it would be sunny and our men was a pretty nice clear day. It didn't rain on us or anything like that. It was pretty good. So there wasn't like let's say, fog or anything that or even a miss at my effect division of this thing. Was there anything that the creature did during the short time you saw it that really confused you even after all these years.

1:08:40 Just the fact the way that it was looking at me, the way it looked at me, it would be almost like a person. It would look at you right like somebody. It's I don't know, it's just it felt like this thing is almost like a human being but huge. It looked at me, and it knew that I was Probably I wasn't pretty this way, I wasn't a local animal. It knew that I was a person basically, and I felt that this thing's looking at me and it knows what I am. It wasn't like let's say, a deer looking at you or any other animal. This thing. You can sense that this thing was almost human basically.

1:09:20 Would you ever have nightmares about what you saw over the years I did. I did have I wouldn't say nightmares because not nightmares, but oh, constantly thinking about it, just trying to make sense out of it, basically trying to make sense that it was not a bear, it was not a deer, it was not no way it could have been an ape because there's no apes up there, and I would think maybe perhaps an ape got lose in the zoo and it escaped. And no, there was no never any incidents. I never read because later in life I would do research this. There was any incidents regarding oh maybe that they reported anything similar to that, And again, yeah, I did, and I saw other Obviously I started seeing other people talking about signings, but not let's say a mountain ryon or something that does not blown up in that mountain.

1:10:20 Have you ever seen let's say, a picture or a drawing or anything that was similar to what you saw. The only thing that it's funny, the only thing that I think came close to it again was Chewbacca from Star Wars. That's the closest thing that I can relate to except brownish red. Would you ever want to see one again? Yes, I would, I definitely would. Maybe maybe not that up close. But yeah, I would definitely I would love to see one. Why would you want to see one again? I don't know. I just I think that I would need to see it. I don't know I can explain why.

1:11:03 I just need to see it again. Put it that way, I guess maybe to make sure that maybe I wasn't imagining, I wasn't seeing things. But then again, if I do see one again, I would know how to explain it or what it is. I need to know. You know how people claim to see UFOs or even ets, right which you want to see? I would love to see what? Sure? Yeah, I definitely would love to see it. And it's funny. My friends and I used to go camping upstate New York again by the Catskills area. There's a lake. It's a National park called North South Lake. I believe it's called Sagod It's up in except twenty if I'm not mistaken, on the throughway, and we used to camp there all the time, and we will hear noises at night. We used to like to go camping, either at the beginning of the season or at the end, but there wasn't too many people and we would hear stuff out there, and again, back then, we didn't know what a big foot was. We never heard of it, but we would hear noises and we always would joke about saying somebody left their dog in the woods and they never came back because we would hear this thing that it sounded almost like a dog market. But it was like almost every time we went up there, we will hear this thing. But we never saw anything up there.

1:12:29 We did see bear, black bear and other animals, but we never saw anything like this up there, And I'm sure they've had sightings up there, but we never came across. And again, ever since I was a teenager, we used to go camping as a group, four of us every year religiously, and up until when I was an adult, I would say, maybe I haven't gone camping in five years, but prior to that we would go every year religiously camping to that same campground. Yeah, no, I know that up in that year there have been sightings. I've talked to a few people. It's a very interesting area going back to your mountain in near sightings. Yeah, was there anything else that you had forgotten to mention about?

1:13:15 The nothing, the smell, it's funny because after it was going, you can still smell it. You can still smell it, not as strong as when it was standing that close. But after it left and my friends caught up, I remember some of them saying, oh, they were talking about, Oh the who's who? They were joking around that somebody didn't take a bath, or somebody let one go. And I just kept quiet because I didn't want anybody didn't know what happened. I just at least not to my friends. I told my wife later when we came back actually from our trip, I mentioned to her, but I never told my friends that were with us that day because I just, you know, I don't know how to explain I wouldn't know how to explain it.

1:14:06 What kind of sounds were you hearing this in the woods that that day? That day, I heard squirrel sounds. We hear the squirrels, chipmunks that was that's probably just about it, and obviously birds, but nothing like this. And again when I heard the grunt, I immediately assumed. It was a bear. That's what I thought. I think it's got to be a bear. And I've heard bear because again, when I was camping up state New York black bear would come to the campground and you have to be careful not to engage them or bother We would basically walk away from the campsite, and we knew enough to keep the whatever food we had tied up high with a rope in the tree to keep it away from the bear, because they did come at night to the campground, and if you didn't bother them, they didn't bother you, and they were not that big. To the black bear up there a brown.

Were there any sounds that you've heard during your time there when you were hiking around that were just out of place, or that's a weird sound. I didn't hear anything out of place except for that grunt. That was the only And again, as we kept walking, I was always listening. I was waiting to hear this thing because I was still afraid that this thing is going to come out and try to attack it. As I was hearing other noises, I was paying close attention that if I heard that grunt, that thing is going to be really close by. But the rest of the the hike and I didn't hear that particular grunt.

1:16:03 You know if the grunt was conveying an emotion, what would it be. Did you get anything from the sound, And I know that's a weird question, but. Yeah, I think that maybe it made the noise to let me know not to get close. That's the only thing I can think of, because again, it sounded like a like a muffled grunt, but it sounded like it took a breath first, and want something to that like that, something like that, like it was relaxing, and it was only just that one grunt. I didn't it didn't grunt anymore. That was the only time it grunted. And then as we make contact and it walked away, it didn't make any.

1:16:49 Has there been anything about the encounter that you do not want to share or that you've been very hesitant to share. No, not at all. That was the whole story. Obviously. To this day, I haven't mentioned the two our friends up there in Seattle, Washington. We'll keep in touch with them. Yeah, I never mentioned it because, oh wow, I don't know. It's just one of those and I'm sure that they are aware. And who knows, maybe if we ever go up there, because I have gone up there to listen then ever, since that time in eighty seven, I think we went back maybe five other times different years from eighty seven up until maybe I think the last time we went up there was when my son was my son was fine ninety three, four or five seven. Nineteen ninety eight was the last time that we went up there.

1:17:41 So the people you're with out in the woods, they don't really know what happened. No, they don't know what happened. Now. Wow, So again maybe one day if we go, I'm sure we'll go up there to visit friends again because stuff happening, who knows, weddings and things, and we will end up going up there, and I'll probably mention it to them. I guess I'm in I'm sixty three this year. I'm in that point in my life that, you know what, I don't care about. I don't care about what other people think. I get. It doesn't bother me as it would have thirty forty years ago. Right now, I'm like, you know what, if they make fun of me, more power to them that it would not affect me at all. I would not feel I guess what I was afraid feeling back there, being.
