Oregon Bigfoot Exposed: Close Encounter at Detroit Lake

The creature was massive, standing over eight foot tall, with a face twisted in a strange, unsettling grin. This is a tail from some far off mountain legend. It's a first hand account from Jared, who's had multiple encounters with Bigfoot in the Detroit Lake area, including rock throwing, eerie howls, and even a strange beast that walked on two legs with the body of a wolf. So buckle up. This story will leave you wondering what really lurks in the dark corners of Detroit, Oregon. So stay with us, all right, Bigfoot Society, You've got the privilege of talking to Jared today. Jared's an individual that reached out to me through email. He's a listener of the show and he wants to share a few things that he's experienced in the Detroit Lake area of Oregon.

1:01 So I been waiting to talk to Jared for a while. This one sounds really interesting. So Jared, welcome to the show. How are you doing, man. I'm doing really good. Awesome, awesome. You know what. I want to make sure you know you've got the time to share what you've experienced out there, So I'm going to go ahead and pass things over to you. Feel free to take us back to when these experiences started happening for you out there. About two thousand five, two thousand and four, and then recently last year, last year, and then twenty twenty, right before all, right before the fires came through, I've seen a lot of activity and I think they were running out from the fires or something. But the two thousand and eight one, I was camping with my brothers and we kept hearing sticks and stuff breaking, and they're sitting by the campfire. And then like my brother was telling me, he said, quit throwing rocks at me, and I said, it's not me. And then we then a big rock came flying through the trees like right next to us.

2:13 Shine a flashlight out there. Nothing. He went back to just talking and stuff, and here comes more a little rocks thrown at us, and then my dog was there and he went right in the tent. Were really scared, so we thought it was maybe like a squirrel or something, a tree, or one of my friends messing with us. So then it kept going on for like an hour or so more Rockstone started us throwing or throwing at us, and finally shining laughter and seeing like red red ice, red ice turn right out us. So my brother said, no, I'm a sleeping the trup tonight. So I fired out a gun and then it stopped for a long time, and then I got woken up in the night by something something ram on my tent and then it tripped tripped over my tin or something to my tent. I've seen this, seen the shadow of it, and I shown him out there and I was standing right there looking at me over I was like over eight feet tall, all brown, like a browns black, seeing his face everything and like human hands with it all covered hair, and then his face looked like a human but with hair all over it. And then it's like kind of like smiling at smiling at me. And then my brother woke up and he just went like almost a panic attack. He said, I've never seen anything that does it. We could never find any footprints after that, and then we're that the morning. He said was that a dream? And I said, no, that was real, and

3:43 so he's now we have never been up back up that lake again since then. That's wow. There's a lot to unpack from that shared. So did that happen? That's all? Yeah? Did that happen? Lake? Detroit Lake was above Detroit like so was like by Tooley Lake. I'm sure there's a lot of people want to call on the an ornament and know where that lake is? Okay, and is that I'm looking it up right now, so do Tuley Lake? Is this the southeast of Detroit? Yeah? Stores of like bearing forks up in that area. Okay, gotcha? Gotcha? So I just want to make sure I heard it right. So it ran up on the tent so kind of like charged tent, but also.

4:30 No, I ran it ran past the tent and tripped over my my rope going to the tent where my tent bags are? Is that close my tent? Wow? But no, no smell or. Nothing, And so it tripped over the tent rope. Did it fall as well from that trip? Nope? Nope, broke broke my tent, Kent and rope snapped it right off. Absolutely, so yeah, that mustn't that. It's amazing. It didn't take everything down, to be honest. Uh you so you saw you saw the actual details of the face. You're saying, oh yeah, shun the light right on it? How close? Okay? How close? About ten feet? Yeah?

5:11 Ten feet? All right? Were there any details that you remember that really stood out from being able to look at that face so. Close, like that canine teeth on it, because it was like kind of smell and smiling at us. And then it's like the face was all wrinkly kind of they it looked like an ape, but like just really really big, really shaggy hair, like big like no neck, no neck at all, that's remembered, no neck, small little ears, and then the really big arms.

5:55 Bye by big arms? Are you? Are you saying like the muscular definition of them? Yeah? Mostly? Yeah? Okay? That like long hair though. How long would you would you guess that? The hair length was probably six raight inches long? Okay? Gotcha? Did the hair of it looked like it was? Was it messed up or or how did it look that was pretty messed up? I think. I think when you fell you had like pine nettles and stuff stuck in it. Gotcha? How long down did the arms stretch on the creature?

6:40 Oh? Past past its ways? Okay, gotcha? Gotcha? Could you do you remember anything about the eyes at all? Yeah? There were like a yellowish yellowish red kind of I don't remember the eyes what it glows. I shined the light right in his face. Gotcha. Do you remember what was the nose more of an ape like nose or a human like nose, ape ape like nose? Okay? And were you able to see a shape to the head at all? Yeah, it was like it had no neck.

7:23 Gotcha. Uh the top of the head. Did you notice if maybe it was rounded off or sometime it curved up a little bit, round it off on top? Okay? Gotcha. Was it making any type of face when you shine the light on it, or like any emotions at all? Well, it's trying to light on it and kind of like put his hand towards his face and then it dropped his hand out, and like, oh, it looks like it was like smiling at us. Was weird? Interesting? Like it is? Yeah? Was there anything that you noticed about it that let's let's imagine that we're watching like a Bigfoot show and they're saying, oh, yeah, Bigfoot does this and does this and looks like this. Did you notice anything that night that was like totally different than those Bigfoot shows would usually say.

8:19 No, crickets, nothing, it was there was not even a sound, That's what it was. Really where not even any wind. It's just it's like, really weird. I've never like every time I've been up I've been up to different lakes before, and there's always at crickets and golden and stuff like that. That night when the rock start getting town us, that's sound. How hard is it to get into this Touley Lake area? Oh, you drive right to it. There lakes right on the road that you can camp. There was like three different camp spots. Gotcha. Yeah, so you you can drive in on a service road. But is it a while off of let's see that this was it Santiam Highway would be the nearest big road probably, yeah, yeah.

9:10 And then there's that's the highway, and then you go up the Parish Lake Road that's pavement, and then you hit another gravel road that takes you right to the lake. But there's a lot around that whole entire lake. There's a lot of blueberry bushes and stuff, huckleberry bushes. There's like a lot of a lot of feed for them. I guess up there. Have you been back to that spot since that time? Went back last year? Heard wooden knops? Oh? Okay, gotcha? Gotcha? Oh man, I knocked on a tree last year after camping. I got three response back. Oh really. I didn't stay tonight though, I just I just went up there, went fishing for a little bit and did three wooden knocks.

9:57 And my dog wouldn't even get out of the truck. Oh wow, Was it just you that went back to so you and your dog? Yeah? You mean me dog? Yeah? Wow, that's and that was two thousand and eight. You were saying, yeah, I went back last last year. Were yeah, last year, last summer went backed up there? Okay, last summer. I did a wood knock and I had two knocks back and then a howl. I said, nope, I'm out here. Same area, same area. Okay, So you knocked the tree three knocks back and also a howl? And yeah, how what was the howl like? Were you able to describe that at.

10:41 All, uh, it so like almost like a wolf, but like really deep, really really deep. So okay, I think it's like talking about the same howl as you done on your on your shows. Yeah. Absolutely, it's pretty drawn out or a pretty quick how it. Was pretty it's pretty thrown out. Okay, Okay, I'm saying the probably want me out of. There, right, Yeah, exactly. You don't really want to stick around for that stuff. But yeah, Jared, that's a that's a wild first uh first way to to to see a big foot. Absolutely, but feel free to continue with any of your other experiences you'd like to share.

11:29 So the next next one was up bright Bush, bright Bush Road. We're up me and my brother's up driving around up there. Came around driving down the road and my brother seeing something sitting on the side the road, hunched over. I said, what is that? I thought it was like a deer's on or a bear, but it was light brown. Got up like we were probably about twenty feet from it. Got up as oh my gosh, it took two steps across the road and then I slid on the brakes right for across the road and that south was it had him been over ten feet tall, light brown color, and we got on the truck and tried to snap it a picture, but it went up the bank so fast, and the smell that one stunk. It was eating it eating a rabbit, dead rabbit on the side of the road. My brother tried going after it, and then it made this weird like grunting sound at us, yelling like a scream. My brother came running back down. We got in the truck and left. But I had never smelt something so rotten before.

12:34 But it was not the rabbit. It was the creature that one was. That's that's all we saw in that one. Were oh yeah, go ahead, yeah, yeah, yeah. We saw the face on that one. It didn't look like it had hair all over his face and big big teeth on it. Also canaine like teeth. Yeah, canine. I don't know what kind of big foot that word? Yeah, I was going to ask it. So would you say what you saw that time was similar with face details wise to what you saw in two thousand and eight, No way different? What were the things that were mainly different?

13:19 All hair on his face, hook he covered in hair, and a little slightly bigger ears and a bigger nose, and then his eyes. He looked his eyes were right, I don't know, like splinted a little bit. He looked mad that we came up on him. The way is crouched over is weird? How how was it weird? Do you remember any details about what made the way it was crunched over or crouched over? Well, he was like you're standing. I was like laying down on his knees, like laying down on his arms, munching on that rabbit. And then when he took off, when he stood up, let's realized how big it was.

14:02 It's like a a centilar color dan color. But it went up. It took two steps across the road, and that's when we stopped. And the smell so like a skunk, skunk rotten meat, and then it whipped up the bank. That's what my brother ran after it, and then it screamed. Anyway, he came back now, and we got the bag up and drove that gravel road for eighty miles an hour and kept looking behind to see what was chasing us. And when you drove away, were you going back towards Detroit or did you go up towards Estacada. Back towards the Detroit. Yeah, okay, it makes sense. Wow, uh yeah. Did you get any feeling as to if it was a male or female?

14:51 I think it was a I think it was a male. Way the way how big it was, gotcha. I still have not not off that road. That was in two thousand and. Six. It was right right when I got to high school. Well, I still not. I've not drive up that road since. My brothers have not drilled up that road since. Yeah, don't. I don't think i'll drive up back that road again. Have you heard of any other people having encounters or sightings on that road? Yeah? Well, my other buddy works for the forcers who retired seeing one up there. Oh really, Yeah, it wasn't that cinema color one those light brown or like a dark brown.

15:37 But it wasn't. He said it wasn't very big as only he thought it was a bear walking up right, And he said, no, bears don't walk up right and go up a steep a bank upright. That's what. Yeah, he saw just about in the same area as a big like one. Two mountains come together. There's a big canyon in there and the road goes right through it. I think they're using that canyon to go through there. Uh does that? Does that area have a name or just known by locals? It's called South Brighton Bush South South. Brightbush gorget okay, and there's a go very top. There's lakes up there, Hiken too are are have you? Have you driven that road from Detroit Lake up to Estacada the whole thing before? Yeah, yep. Yeah, it's just there's a lot of activity that's been reported. It actually has a name. I don't know if you're familiar with it has a name where it's actually called the Oregon Bigfoot Highway.

16:49 It's pretty wild. Yep. It's one of the most active areas in Oregon. So I am not surprised at all that you had that experience down in South Brighton Brush Gorge area. Yeah, that's that that one. I saw another one or this was just like a few minutes long though, so like really telling another story? Oh yeah, go ahead, yeah sure. So this was from last year. I me and my buddy worked with the Forest Service. He's retired now. Hyped up a lake up bright and brush no trail bush wacked all the talk to this lake. Got to the lake and he seen footprints and the fire burk through this.

17:36 So he see footprints, and footprints were two feet two feet long, and he said, just got me. I said, I don't know what those are. Then we came across the spot, started fishing for a little bit, and my neck, my hair and my neck went up, and his dead too. And then my dog starts like whining, and he said, yea, we got to get out of here or something in here, because there's on the back of that lake. There's a big cave up there. You can see it in the trees. And so we start. We walked around the lake, start fishing. There's boulders stacked up there, rocks there are three three to four feet around. They're stacked up ten feet tall. No equipment can get up there. Then my buddy said, how is that? How does something do that? And then he's then we were figuring out. I, oh, it's gotta be bigfoot. No no person can move those rocks like that.

18:25 They're stacked up through the wall. There's like it's about ten feet long, about six feet tall, perfectly stacked rocks about four feet four to three to four feet around the diameter. Perfectly stacked. And we're just sitting there fishing for a while and then night it was about noon, so he said, we got to get out of here because we I mean, we didn't hear anything. But then the birds stopped, everything stopped, and we heard a big branch break from the inside the lake. And then my dogs started whining. And we got out of there, walking down and we ran into three bears ten feet away. And he said, there's no way there was a bear up there. So I don't know what that was up here. I said, I'm never going to look again.

19:15 Wow. That is Wow. Did that lake have a name? That you were at? Garnet Lake by Oak Lake? It's behind Oak Lake, It's it's. A walk, gotcha? Interesting? Interesting? So you have the two thousand and six, two thousand and eight, and twenty twenty four, So at three different times that you've had sighting that sightings, that's incredible. And then I had another sighting in let's think, what was it, two thousand and eighteen around there somewhere on there.

20:01 That one was up French Creek Road. Because my dad's my dad's seen one up there too, And we were out there driving around and we stopped for a little bit and that's when we seen seeing a flash of something. It was no, it was no better because it was on two legs running. But my dad went up there when he was a kid and seen a white one all white. Oh really wow, Yeah, he said he's never never seen anything like that before. But the one we saw up there was just we just seen a something ran across the road on two legs and there's a cliff alongside, and we got out and looked it straight off that there was I don't know where went it either jumped off that or jumped off and underneath the road or something. I have no idea, but that one we've seen.

20:56 That one up there. We stopped and he's like a bad smell too. There's like rotten, really rotten. Whatever they are. It looks like a French creek road. Is you you hop onto it down by Detroit Lake. But how far up did you have to go up before you had that sighting? Ten miles? Oh wow? Okay, about ten ten eleven miles? Yeah, And then last sighting is not a big foot at all. So like, there's a couple of people in Detroit that I've seen. It might start with that one.

21:42 Yes, absolutely so. And for context for me, just because I haven't been to this area, so I know about Detroit Lake, but there's also a small town of Detroit in this area as well. You're saying, yes, okay, how many people roughly. All right? Now, Well, people that live there is probably two okay, maybe one hundred now, but they're all moving out because the town burnt. Whole town burned. All the restaurants or one restaurant, all the all the restaurants burnt, and then one store made it. Is that the Mountain High grocery store. Yep, Mountain High made it. Wow, so only the town has only one thing left. That's wild.

22:30 Well, now they have a food cart there and everything. Oh okay, there's all new houses already, big houses built, Bob like Roughs summers. Probably a thousand people live up there. Oh wow, so normal it's two hundred tourist. Tourist time goes up to a thousand. That is wild thousand. Yeah, my goodness. So yeah, feel free to to share what what people are seeing and this this talent to Detroit. Well, I saw it. I saw it, my friend saw it, and then two people around Detroit saw it, and they won't even they won't even say anything about it. It's scared him so bad. It scared me really bad. I don't walk around at night anymore, never again. So me and my friend were walking down the street with some other people with my uncle and they're looking down my next to my uncle's garb scanner or something standing on standing on four legs and had his head in the garbage scan with the garbage scans up stuck to your waist, the lower waist, and he said, that's a wolf. It was like, I've never seen anything like that. But soon as I seeing it, it stood up on two legs and my friend said, what is that. I don't know that in it. So you're just standing there looking at it, and it started walking towards us, so we started walking away from it. But we thought it was a whereof it had a been dog man. So we noticed on

24:03 now when they had like a like a dog head on it and really like his eyes were like it looked mean drill dripping out of his mouth. Saw the drill dripping on his mouth. And then he had like we've seen the arms, had finger fingers, three fingers on his hand. Never seen anything like that. And then it started walking towards the other way, and then it reached out as how I've never even heard an animal howl aft that before, and it took off running. But I don't know, I've never I don't know what that is. Everybody says a wolf that got his front feet cut off us.

24:45 There's no way it's an animal. Is that tall? It's like eight ten feet tall? Oh wow, Oh my goodness. I don't know what that is. Because we were up last year, were up last year. There's a hill in d Trick called the take a Lookout Hill. You'll see it from Detroit when you ever go up there, but you have to last you are cutting trees. And we heard a how out there twice. Got out of there. But every every summer I'm in Dietrich, right after fire's cloth, that thing hows, so it made it through the fires, but it howls. Either it right after the fireworks or early early morning. I don't know what it is. And unless it's somebody turned it into one at night on certain types of the year, I don't know what it is.

25:36 My uncle's seen it twice and he said he's never seen anything like that before. And you're seeing other people in the town have seen this as well. Yeah, my uncle's seeing it. There's a couple of locals that've seen it, and the people live up on the hill where that where it goes up there that I've heard the howls at it. It's worse like a wolf that's really long. What you saw? Did it have a man's body or a wolf's body as well? Man's body? It looked like a man's body really just ripped though. Oh boy, like a bodybler, bodybuilder, just like you can see the muscles in his legs, his arms and three fingers of that. That's all I remember. It has three three fingers, like his fingers came out of his hands.

26:26 Three fingers, Okay. His feet were huge though, So I don't think it. I don't think it runs on four legs. I think it runs on two legs. But I don't know what it eats up there. But there's no There hasn't been any deer around town for a long time. Just for my notes, what what year was this that you had the sighting of the dog man? Two eighteen eighteen or seventeen something around there? Do you think a lot of people are are having sightings of things in this Detroit area. Yeah, they're not talking about it.

27:07 Why do you think they're not talking about it? There's nobody believes it. Nobody believed that. I told a bunch of people that I work with, and they said, told that don't exist. I said, yeah it does. There's stuff that thes was that you guys have never seen before. I'm in the woods every weekend. Are you out fishing in the woods somewhere or out mush picking of mushy picking or anything like that. But I'm only way out in the woods, have you, I'm just just off to the side. Have you heard of any sightings of things down by uh? Do you know the Subtle Lake area?

27:52 Yep? Have you heard of anything down there? I've heard of Yeah, I've heard of sightings down there. H I haven't seen anything. Now. I don't spend that much time most of my time around Detrich area. Gotcha. Do you remember any details of what was of what happened down there? Nope? But or so Lake Nope, Okay, no problem, no problem. Anything in like es Takada or Malala. Or or. Colton. Nope. It's heard about people seeing them out there. I've heard people seeing uh dog man in Scio.

28:33 SiOH Organ Okay, Wow, Yeah. I've heard people seeing it over there, and then I talked to people in the city. They seem they've said they've seen some weird like either whereof or or dog man in Mill City area. That's where I live at currently now. But I have seen I went out to Potty Island because I've heard that one show about that guy talking on Potty Island and Detroit. Detroit Island. Absolutely, yeah, I've been out there before. My hair went up my neck. I heard stuff breaking. I've never seen a bear out there. I've seen a lot of deer, a dog. He heard that man freaking right between the legs. Really, that was almost near the near the top. I don't know what's out there, Buddy said, there's kind of something that was uh.

29:23 What was that not last year year before that. One. But yeah, I've heard sticks break it up there. I used to camp up there, but I'm not camp up there anymore. I was out there that year picking motions out there and heard stuff breaking. God, I thought it was a deer. But my dog usually he sniffed the air. He was stiffs the deer when the deer comes around. So this time he sniff sniffed in the air and he bolted back down to me. M hmm. I started smelling his weird. I smelt something dead, so I thought it was a dead deer someone. But now I think about it, I don't think it was. I don't think it was a dead deer. I smelled that same smell before.

30:09 How hard is it to get out to that island? Got to walk when the lake's down or take a boat out there? Oh okay, okay, gotcha? So that the lake levels will go down or rise certain times a year. Yeah, yeah, So the lake right now it's almost full, so you can't get out there, but the lake will go down in August September they'll be down. So people usually walk out there. So I don't know what lives out there, but it's something or something on that. But the island's not very big. It's only what does it take. It takes about half hour to get the top. Twenty minutes by walking you get the top, so it's not very big. And then if you want to walk around it, it's like we usually do, and the lake goes down, you walk around it and it takes about four hours walk around the whole thing. It was not very big.

31:01 Yeah, yeah, oh man, so there's a you're saying there's a hill to climb up on this island. Yeah yeah, okay, Mmmm, that's very interesting. Just I mean, not a lot of area, but maybe just enough for something to hide. Out, for something something to hide out. Yeah, yeah, yeah, absolutely. Man. Have you ever talked to any other rangers at the Detroit Ranger Station before? Well, my friend that worked there said they used to have a guy employed that was looking for bigfoot the entire time. He never saw that, he saw tracks, okay, but he never never saw anything. And then I talked to one guy out there and I told him I've seen stuff. He said, I've seen I've seen a couple.

31:49 They won't talk about it. Nobody talks about it. Oh, at the Ranger station, they actually had that conversation off record with you. Yeah, wow, a little bit. Yeah. But I know I know this before because if I bring a gun with me, I won't see anything. If I don't bring a gun, I see stuff. I don't know if they can sense, right, I think they can sense that. They Usually I pack a gun on my side when I'm out mushroom picking case Cason Bear comes towards me. But every time I don't have a gun. I something. I either hear something or my dog gets truly scared. So I don't know what's what's out there.

32:30 I don't know how they can sense that. Mmm uh what kind of mushrooms are you guys looking for out there? Drills? Chantras, tan drills. Yeah, gotcha, very interesting. I didn't know if you had. Jeb Morrel's out there as well. Yeah, just started looking for them yesterday. Yeah. Those are big in Iowa. Yeah. Yeah, that's what I hurt. They get they get massive. Yeah. Yeah. We go out every once in a while and you can find I mean, you know how it is. You find your your huge patches and then you you're very careful not to tell anyone, oh I know, yeah, yeah, yeah absolutely, Man. What just it's such a wild area.

33:14 I mean there's so many people having sightings and as you said, uh not a lot of people are talking about it. But do you think, uh, man, I bet your your forest service friend, retired for service friend has some has some interesting stories. Do you think he would ever be interested in talking about what he experienced? Yeah? I talked to him today a little bit. He wanted me to mention stuff that he saw. One it's called uh gold Hill Road, Gold Hill Mountain, Gold Hill Mountains up by Oak Lake, and he was on a fire up there after the eighties. They came in. He came across that cave and he said, there was this weird hay, weird hair and smell coming out of the cave.

34:05 And he walked back a little bit and they heard a growl and he said, we're on a fire. So we had nowhere to go, so we ran out of there. And then they had they can't they can't do half my way. Had rocks thrown out of all night, big rocks. Oh man, that's that's that's gold gold Butte, Gold Butte lookout. But he said, I don't know if he could ever find that cave again because they got dropped off the helicopter to fight a little fire down in there. But he he said, I've never seen anything like that. I've never had rocks thrown up before. Said what I have, h that's pretty cool. So there is a fire is a fire tower up there.

34:51 Yep, Okay, I want to try renting it out this year. It's one like seven dollars one hundred dollars a night, but it's it's booked. Up for seven year, out for seven years. Yeah, oh my goodness, you gotta get on the list then. Wow, yeah, that would be quite a night. Yeah. I've heard a bunch of people having sidings up by Oak Lake up there to a Brighton. Bush Elk Lake. Let me take a look here. I'll have to look more into that. So that is up in the bright Bush area. Yep, yep, okay.

35:33 I tried getting there last week and could just do it. So have you ever heard anything around Bagbee Hot Springs? Uh? Yeah, I have, I have or some I was talking to somebody as they saw I was stumping up there. They thought it was they got out of Hot Springs and ran in the woods. Yeah, it's it's a it's a webed area. I've had a few people tell me they've experienced some really strange things, uh, in that area of the Hot Springs. Yeah. And it's like some time about driving, like I have cameras up in the road. It's up where I have much. Cameras up there and get a bunch of bears on my cameras and deer. I was driving the last year and it's coming out around and I smelled this weird skunk type thing.

36:20 There's no skunks up that. I was at four thousand feet and then my dog was he's looking out the window on my side by side. He got right on the floorboard. He's never done that before. And then that day, that was last year, that day there was as soon as he smelled, I stopped and see what that was? I thought it was. It was so bad. I had to cover my nose. I've never smelt some of that worse. It's like a skunk, but ten times worse than a skunk. And that time, no birds, nothing. I stopped springing the tie us off. Not even sound, but the bad odor. I had to cover my nose. I couldn't, I couldn't take it. There was only one time I went back up there next day nothing. M Do you have any any thoughts about why there's so much activity in this area of Detroit and in Bright Bush.

37:13 Well, I think it's because all uh, there's a lot of hulckleberry bushes everywhere. There's a lot of wildlife up there, a lot of deer up pie, a lot of bears, a lot of rabbits, grouse, there's a lot. Yeah, there's a lot of I think there's a lot of there's a lot of grass growing and a lot of berries everywhere. That makes uh, that makes perfect sense. Yeah, perfect environment. Uh, lots of resources, a lot of water. Have you ever been to Ripple Brook before? Yeah, I'll go through it because that's actually so you've you've driven through. Have you talked to the rangers there? Yeah? Nope, okay, gotcha.

38:03 Weird only I only see that. I only see big foot activity though from July, uh October. Okay, I don't know if they're moving through the area. We're migrating through here. I don't think they're up here in the snow in winter times. Hm hmm. It's it's one of those questions. It's like, you know, do they is there some kind of hibernation going on? Maybe they go somewhere else, you know who. We just don't know yet, right. Nope, I don't know. Yeah, but no idea where you go? I did, like I went up last weeking this wood knops, got nothing, nothing back. I just went up French crick always did that, gotcha. There's big mountains up there and stuff.

38:47 Nobody goes up there picked up wood knops, not a single thing. So it's a it's a pretty uh. I mean when you got there, it's just you. There's no other hunters or. I've never seen any. But nope, Well one of my go where my cameras are, take myself by others. Nobody up there. That's it's there's a couple of spots straight off. It's a thousand feet down that. There's a lot of activity up there, but I think there's up and spend the night up there by myself. No, I'm not bring a friend with me.

39:29 So have you heard of You've heard of activity happening up in that area from other people as well? Yeah, oh yeah. A lot of the people. Live in live in Detroit, got it. So one guy I talked to you, he will never go in the woods again after he saw one. He saw one five feet from him when he's something. Oh my goodness, five feet away. Five feet away. It was crowds excused walk through the woods and the single crowd show behind a log. And then when he got as well, the things jumped up. He's I've never he quit. He didn't think these things were up here. Man.

40:09 He learned that day for sure. Wow, yeah, yeah, I can't imagine, like my mind, he just cannot comprehend that. Do you still talk to this guy? Yeah, a little bit. Wow, he won't. He won't say nothing about he won't say nothing about it. Yeah. Absolutely, No, I don't blame him, but wow, that's just that's an incredible account. Yeah. So you're saying most of the individuals from Detroit are having things happen up on this French Creek Road. French French Creek and Brighton Bush makes sense. And then and then I think I'm trying to get a picture. My uncle had a b one on trail camera, but his house burnt and the fire, and then I think, I think he has a sim card on him. I'm gonna talk to his son. I've seen the picture. It's the it's the actual picture of Bigfoot. And like he showed a couple of people and they said, well, that's that's got seat got a suit way up in the middle of nowhere.

41:08 Oh wow, Okay, so you've seen it. Can you describe what you saw in that picture? Big black, big, big black one. That the same area where I had the rocks thrown at me. Okay, because he put his camera way up in the tree and had it pointing down and that thing walks right next to his camera and then he cut a picture and then he looked up at it. There's big, really big wow. But he's been he's been up there before, my uncle has. He won't talk, He don't talk about it at all because he's annoying people. I believe him stuff because I say I've seen it, but he's seen him one before. We're just staying there, well, the back and forth, swaying his arms, and then he came up to you like like sticks stacked like logs snapped off and stacked like a tepe area like broke off. I've seen.

42:03 I saw it once last year, after that that lake we went. To, perfect twelve twelve inch logs completely snapped and stuck into a tree. It was like six trees, six of them all around the tree. And I've never seen that. There's no way a human can do that. Oh my goodness. Have you heard of anyone in that area having just weird things happen, Like let's say they go out and all of a sudden, like they can't move or or they're moving, not like they feel like something else is making them move, anything like that.

42:43 Yeah, Yeah, I happ my other friend up there he saw something and he said, I just like like made me fall asleep. He fell asleep, and then he woke back up and said, I don't know what I mean saw oh man. So he was just out there in the woods and it made him go to sleep. Yeah, I did. So. Last year I was up there. I forgot tell you this. Last year was up there. I was up by Cooper's Cooper's Ridge, Thanks Cooper's Ridge. Oh no, it was Hoover Ridge. After watch a lightning storm and there's two yellow lights right before the sunset, right before dark two yellow lights were sitting there hovering.

43:30 And my friend was up there too, and he took pictures, and I took pictures of two They looked like, I don't know, it's weird. They're just hovering right there in one spot and then we're just sitting there washing them. They get vanished. They could completely see these built. That's it's like weird. I don't know what that is. Everybody said I was a weather Blowness, there's no way that's the weather. But maybe two you sitting next great next to each other. Yeah, there's no way that's that's that's not it. How How big a practice did they look. Well like if you're looking on the sky, they're probably an inch round. They're like sitting in one spot though for a long time. And then we took I took to he took a picture, and I took a picture and gone like they knew we were there or something.

44:16 I don't know what that was. I've seen. I've seen some lights up in the sky before, red and orange. Ever, I was a helicopters drune. Why who would be out in the middle of nowhere with the drone way like at midnight and it seemed like these three balls circle around. I don't know what those are. If those people are up way up there, find a drone room. Got a few more, few more questions for you, and okay, uh, just thank you, Jared for everything that you've you've shared so far. Got a few they're going to be really at a left field, but just based on stuff I've heard from other places. So I talked to a lot of people from down in Oakridge. You haven't heard anything from down there, right, No, okay, but I've heard some weird stuff besides Bigfoot out of Oakridge. I'm just curious if you've heard anything like that out of up in this area. I've had people that have reported seeing gnomes in Oakridge and also fairies in Oakridge. Is that anything that's talked about.

45:30 I've heard about that. Really, I haven't seen anything around Detraury though. Okay, so you've heard about people seeing fairies. Yeah. One of my friends, he passed away, but he saw he saw weird, weird fairy type thing. Every thought he was piles of them, and he don't lie at all. He saw it around some are its close to or as O by Portsville, Corchville or Courtsville, Preak over there. He saw some weirds things over there.

46:11 I don't know. That's always all about was South area is flying around. I don't know. I don't know if those are. I've never seen one. I'll hope they want to see one pretty soon. Oh Courtzville, Oh that makes total sense. Yeah, Courseville. That's another name for Green Pewter Reservoir, right, yeah, yeah, course yeah. I mean that area is crazy for bigfoot and weird stuff, so that makes total sense. I mean that's where the Giant door is. If you've ever heard about that. Oh yeah, I heard about that too. Yeah. Absolutely. You know, over the years, you're talking to a lot of people. There is another thing that sometimes gets reported to me. Have you ever heard of any individuals that feel like they have gotten any type of communication from the Bigfoot out there, like them trying to talk to them through their mind or anything like that.

47:04 Nope, I haven't heard any of that. Okay, gotcha, gotcha, gotcha. Wow.
