Gotcha, much wider than people, that's for sure.

Nope, yeah, because he's right here's were always put my tent right there behind that chair. Oh yeah, gotcha. It's a good place. Oh yeah, we'll have to chat and see if we can have a fire. Yeah, will or Except for that, they don't make me feel safe at all.

Chairs is intense? Did you see this over here? That's kind of a weird set up. Someone put Oh yeah, probably a bad Yeah. They probably had their cook stove on there. Yeah yeah, hmmm. Before they left that, and they could have built that little of that tired. Room and left that in there, right.

3:09 Yeah, pretty soon they'll rock the road off and won't let me go to another camping spot because they didn't patrol their forest and find people for their messes like they used to. And then you know, the normal people can't go to their spots anymore. Yeah. How old are the trees up here? You think have these been forested before? Okay? Yeah, but if you walk down that trail you'll probably get there's I think there's a nice patch of pretty old growth in there. That's beautiful. The teas have been cut before. Oh, by the way, Byron, I like the idea that we can edit.

3:54 But for the most part, I don't care how insane I sound. You can put it out there to the world, all right, I don't care what anybody thinks. It's good funny material for sure. Well, I mean it's real life. You know. He might make a comedy show out of the sports. Nah. He has seriousness, and my. Don't we fit like a glove? Yeah? Man, it would be so cool, Like I can't imagine camping out here for a few days and just being like away from civilization, just kind of chilling out. But then it could get could get wild, you know, like it's not all fun games.

4:41 I'll call my son, see if we can't just set it down up that would be cool. Yeah, it's neat to be in an established area. Well, you know, it doesn't look like there's any chance of them going away in the near future. They're going to be here, and to be in that type of area, there's it's special. You're not out here in the area where they're traveling through your see a track and nothing ever happened. No, they're they're here. They're always here. When you come here, they're here, and they know you're here and what you're doing. This is a different setup. It's just crazy to think that. I mean, yesterday was yesterday right like right there. That's that's wild to think about.

5:30 It's hard to explain how how that is. In the day. Seeing that one run and then but it was like low to the ground and then jumped. It was so weird. I couldn't make out. I was like, what am I seeing? And then the roar and then the second rower. Yeah, that was yesterday, Oh yesterday. When you got home, did it did it take a while for you to get to sleep, like because it was your adrenaline still going or yeah. Yeah, I had to eat and take another gummy, Yeah, another id and then finally he just went to sleep.

6:15 And then I woke up. Ronnie was calling. It's like, oh, no, what But it's all right. I'm good. You know, it's a whole other world with different than a lot of people expect for me. Yeah, well I never expected it, but I've lived it. There's no doubt in my mind or something there. I just don't know what it is. I know it leaves a huge track and it can scare the Holy tar out of you. Well, mastery, we still don't even don't even know what they are.

6:59 Yeah, I mean it's their voice is like being in front of a big speaker at a concert. You know how the bases you. Yeah, that's what their voice does to you, bounce us through you like them. You're in front of a big speaker. You can feel it. Yeah, yeah, it's uh, it's so louder, echoing, vibrating off everything, off the trees. You think that they can be married for miles away, they can, you. Know, there's something about that. When we were in the Siskis, there was four of us on the team, forty from theirs hap past for a. Month, and uh we had the.

7:42 Call blashing going, howler monkeys, babies and uh and then one of them. I guess it hadn't been authenticated at least by many. That on the Uh. Yeah, when we're recording that too, and uh, every evening I thought they overdid it, but they echoing through the canyons and stuff. It was just got it major thing and it you knew it was just a recording. Right, We're back in there from a whole month. The last night didn't have a lot of action. The last night we were packing up because there was a guy who's gonna have the horses bring him back in there, cause we had at least five hundred pounds of equipment and supplies to Lord, get up the canyon wall and get 'em loading on the horses. And the last night the stuff was packed away, including the recorder. It's the only night the recorders back away, right. And this thing came off, built, built up and like an air servant, and it went right through us and it was like the ground ers trimling.

8:55 It was so powerful. And it lasted for a long long time, tremendous cavity, lung cavity, so powerful, and it started kind of feebilating it at the end. Everybody was a life shock. I was thinking, we're recording or something. I mean, of course we're not all the equipments put away. I think everybody else was thinking. Everybody's stunned. Nobody said a word. And then when it was starting to end, it started to come up again the same way built up. And that's when Richards said, the recorder, the recorder, get the recorder. So his son is digging through the what we packed away and he's looking for the recorder. He's looking these things going up again. That's what we wanted, and he's looking.

9:45 He gets it and just see it was it ended. We had two chances lest a long time about the time some time we got the recorder, couldn't get it. That's about the way it was. Yesterday they had the wrong recorder and the other guy whoever they were talking about taking the chip out of the camera, so they didn't have either either of it. When not all happened, but the cursive was it was like is this the same? What was Wrongnie? And I was like wanting to go up there and didn't even think about recording it. Yeah, he would have had.

10:30 Oh yeah, this big. Actually you can't record it. You got recorded, you got cameras on your phones. Yeah, he would have had the most famous sounds recording that anybody's ever heard. And I truly believe that from them because you know, since then, I have been watching thing after thing after thing after thing after thing. Oh you're saying, it would have blown everything out of the water. The water. He'd have been the sought out the coyote not normally, but it was coyote, but loud and mad. Everything was in an owl street and they were all on the ground together and the raven.

11:11 Yeah, the coyote, the owl, and the raven and. What sounded to me like two frantic chimpanzees. In a little monkey snd and. All at the same time and for a long time, that group is together making all those individuals sounds, and it's obvious it's coming from the same unit at the same time. And they didn't stop for over two hours. It was a long time, very intense. So and there's no way a coyote a raven and an owl and crazy chimpanzee whatever at the Saint We're at together making all those sounds at the same time. They left a twenty three inch track.

11:53 And leaving those tracks from around twelve thirteen inches up to twenty three inches. No, yeah, that scared me, man, Yeah, that was. A scared night. We didn't think we're gonna live. Actually scared my dad. Yeah, I feel bad for him, you know, old guy. And yeah, he's he's at my house. I'll introduce him to you, but. He's Yeah, he's been out camping a lot. The ladies at his church have been saying, you ought to go tell what happened to you up there. Oh yeah, it's like really yeah, I said, you know that thousands of people have heard our story. That would be interesting talking to people from churches in the area to see if I'm sure there you know, but that would be an interesting viewpoint because I'm sure there's probably you know, people from those churches that have had run ins, and they're going to have a different a different viewpoint.

12:48 That's demons Anti. It could be sometimes putting anything out of I don't think the possibility, man, I am. I'm leaving it until I know I'm leaving every bit of it open. I don't see anything in that direction. Do I think there's a dog man? I've never seen one. Well, I don't even want to. That's one where I hear about a lot. But there could be, and. I know that they're close to where I am in Iowa, but I just don't want to think about when I'm out in the woods man like that's just a terrible creature. Oh, come on to know that where wolves are real? Have you about the land between the Lakes? I mean, I know people that are are down there all the time.

13:30 Yeah, have you heard that? Cop? I've retired Martin Gross, but. He's really uh investigated and he's pretty good. Yeah, I'm good friends with Martin. He thinks a real down in there. Yep. A lot of people have been killed missing. He's got some horror stories and he says they're covering up. The government right there is covering it up. You don't want it to know. I've seen it. Yeah, Martin is a great guy. So I've interviewed him once live and then this last year I interviewed him again. Yeah, I've done two times and he is the most he's a genuine he's very religious. He's a man of God, and like I can tell that he is. But he is one of the most genuine people I've ever interviewed.

14:13 That's the way he's crazy. I don't have a doubt anything he's saying. Oh he's he's incredible. Yeah, and he's talking to they're real and these these dog men or stuff, and they're there and people has been killed and missing. Him and a guy named Daryl Denton and Ron moorehead you know him, They will go out and they go around investigating land between the Lakes. Yeah. They call themselves Brotherhood of the Wolf. Wow. Yeah, it's pretty cool. So much I don't know, well, some wild stuff. But Ron is a great guy, you know. I know. I've never met him, but from I've talked to him, he's so good. He's Christian, but he's and he's honest. There's no way he's not he's making up.

14:57 I've seen a title on a I yes, I'm gonna something about where there's a bigfoot, there's a dog man. I didn't have time to watch it, so I don't know. There's a guy I think he's gonna be at the deal and the introducer to him. He's been years back. He's one of the guys talked to me on the side about his experiences. He didn't talk about game Guide for many years. Oh wow. Yeah, and he's seen the tracks. He hadn't seen him at that time, and he knew they were there, but made him nervous and he would say, either beverly or mentally, I'm not here for you. I'm not going to bother you. He would do that, and he didn't run around because of his it's his profession.

15:44 Yeah, but there's some interesting stuff. With him and he I forgot what I was going to tell you, but yeah, he's had a lot of unusual things happen. Yeah, we were talking about that earlier at the coffee shop. It's man, that was becoming a big ordeal. It sounds like, I mean him having all that equipment together and. He had one hundred and twenty five he actually put the money. He said, I'm going to do that. Yeah, he almost had it, and I. Had to discussion to discourage and I said, that's a lot of money to put it on an experiment because I'm thinking these things just as smart I think that, you know, you know, I keep on their estimating them.

17:15 Yeah, but you know, and I got the money. I know that's what you wanted. To see somebody put that. If it's not because I'm thinking these things too, I don't you made me put all that money in there not getting any action, because you know, I think I was trying to tell him start off small, like he was saying about the groups. Put three groups, just the minimum. We need stump and see what happens. Be first, before you know all, we. Need more than anythings on them, parabolic hoods to listen to listen. Yeah, that's what you do. He had that on the unit. Uh where you could hear anything better. It's all on panels and stuff, and and putting the music the right sounds that worked with apes and stuff.

18:01 He had all those, you know, and he had a unit that, uh, I forget what you call it, but uh it would tell you because weight, size, whatever, what something's coming and approaching. Put the music out when then I don't know if it was two hundred I don't remember. Two hundred feet or two hundred yards. You could tell if it was one of these things there was gonna and you knew exactly where they were. It would show you exactly where they're at. He had. He had the greatest stuff, and it's too bad we didn't get to apply it. But I was just so fed up and discussed with all I. In a way, I'm glad because I found I can find. I don't know if we would have found out more with all that or not, but I was content one on one of these things you're gonna find you're gonna be more successful.

You're gonna get more response, You're gonna get more closer to you. They're gonna be more respond if you're buy yourself. That's just a fact. That's just what did you hear clunk? Because I just I just got I don't know, I didn't hear anything, but all of a sudden, I was just like very apprehensive of everything. It's kind of weird, but. You guys get the feeling. I'm gonna give me a piece of pizza. Like a little cloth or a twig off a tree.

I said, uh, I. Had to bring up big Foot just for the hell of it. I like to see if somebody's gonna respond to something. It's something about Baper. I said, I pretty about this Bapers. He says, right off the bat, he said, oh.

20:58 He said I had an experience. I said you that I wouldn't say about any experiences with me. Oh, yeah, you're smart. And he said it was someplace, some mountain twenty miles from here or whatever. He said, I had am I says, I saw one. He was serious. He says, I saw one. He said, cured the hell out of me. He says, that's why I'm here. He said, I'm not going back there. Wow, you know they're there. I didn't tell him. I didn't say anything. You're into the fire, buddy. I didn't want any I didn't want no idea. I didn't want to run his trip. He's he thought, oh wow, he was thinking there's bigfoot over there.

21:39 He wasn't thinking about him here. I'm safe here. So I didn't want man, so I didn't tell him they're here too. Wow, that's so funny. Yeah. Did you notice how how blew away that guy got in the coffee shop this morning? When he found out. I knew it was because I was talking about you before you got there, because he was like, hey. What are you what are you up to doing? Like in the podcast and yeah, talking guy, he was like, whoa, this is the dude. I didn't know he was coming for the event. I think I think because of that conversation, now he's now he's definitely going to the event. I think we may have pushed him a little bit into it, which is awesome.

22:20 We would have no reason to sit and talk about that so seriously. I mean, there's a few podcasts that are talking about are you going Old Bridge? Oh yeah, I'm going to Old Bridge? Really? Oh yeah? Who else? I don't know who they are. That's awesome, though I've been because I've been trying to talk. I've been talking up like crazy. So I'm glad that there might be multiple people here, you know, talking to people. You know of a couple that I've heard that you know, I don't mind listening more to than most And that's you and how to Hunt Big. Guy and oh Man, Yes, Steve Isdall. Yeah, I think that's his name, Steve. That would be wild if he showed up or like, I mean, I Wes is out here too, Sasquatch Chronicles, dude, he does. I don't think he goes too much stuff though, but.

23:09 It seems he's a little laundry. But I relate to that guy. You know, Steve. Yeah, man, I haven't even. I don't even know what time it is. Eleven thirty? Hey, wrong? What time is it? How would I know? Don't you have your phone? Oh? I'll let you know, okay, all right? Oh, look at these rocks over here. That's weird, all right, it's kind of interesting all lined up.

It doesn't make sense, like you'd have to be so bored. Maybe they just got bored and they're camping people, you know. Oh anybody get that? You know? When I construct something with rocks when I'm board camping, it's usually an elaborate cooking pit where I can stand up, you know, right, the hot coals out of the bottom, put them up here on the top where I can reach it. And yeah, built a couple of those. Sad part is when you go back and it's completely destroyed.

24:37 Yeap. Why would somebody destroy something so useful in campside? Would you not want to use that? People are are just thoughtless. Sometimes I just can't get over seeing huge trees like this, you know, burnt, it's so weird. Yeah, fires are, Yeah, that would be I think that would be a really interesting part to life out here, is you'd constantly have to be aware certain times of the year, like hey, we could have to like go right now, I'll see. If I can't muster up enough courage and to walk down there from the road down until where that trail's at.

25:17 It's all cleared. Out down by the campsite. Yeah, it's before the campsite. There's a spot that's kind of brushy right there along the road, but as soon as you walk through it, it opens up. And then a little bit further there's a trail there. Me and my son are up there one time and. Had a. Bear had she had two cubs. She wasn't a big bear, but she's kind of running across the trail, and then little cubs jumped on a tree way bigger than these, and they zoomed all the way to the top. And my cinema was just dumbfounded. He said, I he never could have believed they could have climbed a tree that fast.

26:03 I mean they were like they ran up the tree. It was incredible, and I said, okay, now you've seen it, we gotta go. Even though she wasn't big, she's still dangerous. Those are her babies. So you know, we watched that and left, gave the animals some respect, some haikus, and got out of there. That's why I like to be out here things like that, and I hope someday I get back to that. Mh yep. Well, you're definitely making, you know, small steps in the right direction.

26:45 I think. I hate to sound like a scared of you, but I'm telling you ninety percent of the people if that happened to would never go in the woods again. If that didn't affect them in some way. They were scared or tear by that day and so that they ain't normal right, or. They're they're lying, you know, yeah, which I'm you know, you can tell no way you. Could go through there, and there's no way to really explain it, but the intensity of it, there's no way to go through it. Lest Yeah, I'm hoping I'm hoping he gives part of that.

27:26 Even if I got to go through it again, I'm hoping he gives part of what. I never want to go through that again. I don't either, But I'm out here. You really don't have much doubt that you're gonna die. You're not gonna make them, not if. They don't want you to, really for sure. Yeah, you know, we didn't think we're gonna got no chance if they don't want you to, especially if they. Have that big guy or whatever. It was coming up to the tent and he stopped right there, go back. That happened every once in a while throughout the two hours, always screaming, yelling around there. You can tell they're going back and forth, crazy and it's so loud. No, you had you had thought that one of them's gonna go, or maybe that one was gonna take you and the tent all together. That's what I was thinking about.

28:17 And then every time I'd talk a little bit louder and let him know that I was paying close attention, and hey. Back up, no, you ain't do it surviving. And we just went through that routine a few times that night, he'd get closer, I'd get a little louder, cussing it myself. Oh yeah, a little t match. I thought I had to deal with it. I had to deal with. Yeah, yeah, everyone happening. We were thinking differently. Yeah, when I get in this situation, like, I try to think positive, even if it looks like, you know, the worst, But I try to think positive. While that was happening, I wasn't thinking about being torn apart. But I was that closed, but I was holding that back, and I was thinking these things they let us know from a long distance they were coming in. If they really wanted to harm us or kill us, they wouldn't have given such warning. So no, it's not going to go the worse situation because they're you know, they're giving us.

29:24 I'm thinking positive and that helped me a lot, thinking that I wasn't. Thinking about coming. Every once in a while you get the flash you're going to take you and the tent with, But I would block as much of that out as I could. So after it's all over for two hours and that things are leaving, still screaming. They never let up on momentum at all for well over two hours, wow. And they never lost energy, nothing got out of wind, nothing. And they were going and screaming to holler on their. Way out and they're they're they're going out, same way they came in it, but just reversed, coming in getting louder. Now they're louder and diminishing, and they're on the way out, and I thought, well, it's over. They did what, they accomplished what they wanted. I was pretty confident. I want to roll over and sleep. He's still cussing. I hope he's not mad at me. He has maybe should I was thinking, maybe I should follow the big Foot.

30:24 I might be said right. So I didn't want to say anything, but I got to know. I wanted to go to sleep. I got to know what he's mad at because I don't know if it's mere or not. So I said, do wait and we could still hear Petty out. Big for Society, who will be right back after these messages? Said? He says what I said? Uh, why are you cussing?

31:06 He says, I'm I'm cussing me, accusing me forgetting myself in this situation or whatever. Because Ronnie's got the big Foot background, but you don't. So for the second time, now I'm relieved. I believed with the Bigfoot they're leaving, and now I'm relieved that it's not. He's not cussing because me because I'm thinking I got him in this situation, right, So I got I'm relieved on two counts. So I figured, okay, and now I can go to sleep. I don't have to worry about Bigfoot or him. Right, So I start I roll over. He's still cussing, and I couldn't pass it up. I just I thought because when he first found the track where I ended up gifting him, he uh, he's let me on the back. He says, this is our research area. Yeah, so I thought about that. He's still cussing, and I couldn't resist, I said, Daine. He said what I said, this is our research area.

32:01 You know your. This is your researcher. I don't want to be a researcher, by the way to cap it. On, Yeah exactly. Oh it was great. Wow, that's so funny. Oh that wind is nice. It is. I guess we're I'm gonna check the hood. Yeah, hopefully it's it's uh calm down. Maybe we could well, I guess one of the other area, right. Yeah, that would that would be great if we can do that.

33:24 You probably learned that that's all right with this, Serge. When I went to Florida, I stopped by his place, got so drunken late at nine I couldn't shut up. He said, why don't you shut up? He's the one that brought the two bottles up for me in the morning. I bet he was sorry for that. But he said check your oil. That I will. I didn't check it till I got to Florida. I called him up and there talked him a little bit, and I said, oh, Serge, by the way, I said. I checked my oil. I just checked it the gut in It's okay. I don't know what he thought about me. I told him I checked the well, but I didn't check it that I got the floor.

34:07 Man, that is a long trip. Yeah, I know, kind of dumb. And he tried to talk me into going multiple days. The swamps are so freaking fessina. I love this one. Yeah, there's some interesting stuff down there, but there's a lot. Of like it's the only second time I thought when I was down there, I'll tell you it was freaking knee yeah. Yeah, and that's talking the Eastern diamond Back. I'll tell you about it, all right. I'd like to see one of their snakes or there their red black widow that he got down there. That'd be kind of cool. I don't want no spiders. I just want to look at it. I don't want anyone to look at him. I don't want to collect him.

34:51 I know that an acrophobia ever since the little kid. I just want to look at him. That's it, you know. I used to wake up screaming when I was little. I I'd have nightmares about spiders, them black widows to be calling on the walls and the ceiling with abdomens that I can't stand spiders. That's give me either creep now giving by weakness. Now you're in trouble. That's good to know. Ronnie telling us more no no spiders.

35:32 And the hell that get that. Well, I hope we get no fires here this year. Really to destroy our air again? Yeah, I couldn't come in here for two years man again, that. Would be terrible. You know when we had like, what was it, three years in a row with fires where the smoke is filling our town up so bad they were giving everybody you're pure. Fires really, I mean I had to wear masks and stuff to go outside. Well people people did. After finally over with, we would come up here. A couple of times, wiz think they might not might have let or I was anyway thinking they might have left all the smoke and activity and maybe not come back.

36:19 The first time I knew for sure they would come back, it was on my birthday when I've seen all those tracks for one hundred feet around and that was here. I know they were whipping from when we're getting along. Yeah, So I'm wondering if the connection they would let me know some way that maybe they wanted to just get back together. I'm a romantic. It could be wrong, but. Two sides, that's what I. Think. You ought to building a little daisy wreath and go dancing. In there, like, I mean, I want to be a little more than.

37:04 Sure. I got that doubt hale and all. They scared me. I imagine that. You know some of them are you know kids of hippie women anyway? Yeah, just because when I was a kid and there was bus loads and hippies up here living every summer. Oh really, Oh yeah, they were all in the hot man. There was a hot springs on the highway, and there was one over the hill on a cougar, and then there was one up Salmon Creek that was always hot. Can you imagine the stories that some old hippies have around here. Yeah, they probably ran into like some big footway out here. Yeh gotta because they live out here, like in the bus loads, and you know the locals would be all mad at them all the time.

37:47 Yeah. Does it get pretty rough out here, Duane, like Mountaintown in the middle of nowhere? No? No, I mean it's beautiful. It seems like most it seems most people in the town get along. I haven't run into any terrible people yet, and I'm sure there might be something there some Yeah. You probably know something about it, and just you have. To know where. I don't know about this. H smell. I was smelling wood and water. It was oil.
