Something has been living on this property in the Pocono Mountains for decades.

In this episode, a lifelong hunter shares a series of encounters that began in childhood and continued into adulthood—footsteps pacing him in the woods, a powerful smell that always came first, and the growing sense that he was never alone out there.

As the years passed, the experiences became clearer and closer. A towering figure watching from the trees. Multiple sets of footsteps moving with purpose. Loud screams and wood knocks echoing through the forest. Moments where it felt like something was guiding him out of certain areas.

One day, after harvesting a deer, he came face to face with something massive. It approached, stood its ground, and then lifted the deer and carried it off with ease.

Later encounters point to more than one. Large figures moving together. Smaller ones seen deeper in the woods. Rocks thrown. A direct impact against the house in the middle of the night.

This is a long-term presence in a place where the activity never fully stops.

If you want to understand what ongoing encounters really look like in one location, this is a story you need to hear.

00:00:00.160 --> 00:00:03.120
You're listening to Bigflest Society and I'm Jeremiah Byron. In

2
00:00:03.160 --> 00:00:05.879
this show, we go beyond the campfire stories to bring

3
00:00:05.879 --> 00:00:08.720
you first hand encounters from people who say they've seen

4
00:00:08.839 --> 00:00:12.880
something impossible. From backwoods trails and remote mountain haulers to

5
00:00:12.960 --> 00:00:16.719
quiet farms and crowded highways. The stories come from everywhere,

6
00:00:16.760 --> 00:00:19.719
and each one leaves us with more questions than answers.

7
00:00:20.719 --> 00:00:24.000
These are the voices of the people who've lived it.

8
00:00:24.079 --> 00:00:27.440
To settle in, because today you'll hear another account that

9
00:00:27.600 --> 00:00:30.120
just might change the way you see the woods forever.

10
00:00:30.440 --> 00:00:32.520
So stay with us, all right, Pickless Society, You get

11
00:00:32.520 --> 00:00:35.079
the privilege of talking to Sean today. Sean is an

12
00:00:35.119 --> 00:00:39.119
individual that reached out regarding a lot of things that

13
00:00:39.159 --> 00:00:43.039
he has experienced over the years down in the Poconos

14
00:00:43.280 --> 00:00:46.520
of Pennsylvania. That area has come up on the show

15
00:00:46.560 --> 00:00:49.840
a few times, so listeners will be familiar with that,

16
00:00:49.880 --> 00:00:53.679
and you can always follow along with the sighting map

17
00:00:53.719 --> 00:00:57.079
over at Bickless Society podcast dot com. Also, Sean is

18
00:00:57.719 --> 00:01:01.320
outdoorsmen and a hunter that will come up during the

19
00:01:01.359 --> 00:01:03.520
interview as well. But welcome to the show, Sean. How

20
00:01:03.520 --> 00:01:04.599
are you doing today, Sir.

21
00:01:05.879 --> 00:01:07.359
I'm doing well. How about yourself today?

22
00:01:08.280 --> 00:01:11.400
Doing great? It's always a good afternoon when I'm able to,

23
00:01:11.439 --> 00:01:14.000
you know, talk to people about their big foot encounters.

24
00:01:14.079 --> 00:01:17.959
Just talk to someone from about some stuff that happened

25
00:01:17.959 --> 00:01:21.920
out in Mount Saint Helens in Washington. And you know,

26
00:01:21.920 --> 00:01:24.599
I'm a big fan of the Poconos area too. You

27
00:01:24.640 --> 00:01:27.239
guys have some wild, wild stuff that's going on. But

28
00:01:27.719 --> 00:01:30.680
you know, I know that we have multiple things to

29
00:01:30.719 --> 00:01:34.120
talk about today, Sean, But before we get into it,

30
00:01:34.159 --> 00:01:37.359
is there anything else that the listeners might need to

31
00:01:37.400 --> 00:01:39.400
know about you for context before we get going.

32
00:01:41.560 --> 00:01:44.719
The biggest thing is, I'm an avid deer hunter. I'm

33
00:01:44.760 --> 00:01:49.920
a big time outdoorsman, so I'm out when I'm not

34
00:01:49.959 --> 00:01:53.920
at work, I'm always outside doing something. We live from

35
00:01:53.959 --> 00:01:56.560
the bottom of the Appalation Trail, so I'm always up

36
00:01:56.599 --> 00:02:02.480
there scouting for deer, scouting for watching wildlife. So just

37
00:02:02.519 --> 00:02:05.159
that's a little bit about me why I've had so

38
00:02:05.200 --> 00:02:07.000
many experiences because I'm just always outside.

39
00:02:08.199 --> 00:02:10.759
Gotcha, how many years do you think you've been a

40
00:02:10.840 --> 00:02:11.319
hunter for?

41
00:02:13.360 --> 00:02:16.479
Since I've been hunting since I've been sixteen, so about

42
00:02:16.520 --> 00:02:17.080
twenty years.

43
00:02:17.159 --> 00:02:20.400
Okay, very good, very good. So you are well aware.

44
00:02:20.520 --> 00:02:23.120
I would imagine of what should be in those woods

45
00:02:23.120 --> 00:02:24.840
and what should not be in those woods. You know,

46
00:02:24.919 --> 00:02:27.360
the sounds, all that good stuff.

47
00:02:28.599 --> 00:02:29.080
Exactly.

48
00:02:29.280 --> 00:02:30.319
Yeah, I can.

49
00:02:32.199 --> 00:02:34.560
Even when it comes to deer hunting. There's times where

50
00:02:34.879 --> 00:02:36.680
I haven't heard a buck, but I smelled the buck

51
00:02:37.000 --> 00:02:40.280
because when they're in their rut, they're spraying, I could

52
00:02:40.280 --> 00:02:42.240
smell that, you'ar and smell. I know when they're coming through.

53
00:02:42.599 --> 00:02:44.960
I've gotten bucked that way just because that was time

54
00:02:45.039 --> 00:02:45.560
to be quiet.

55
00:02:47.879 --> 00:02:50.400
So yeah, you're you're definitely aware of what's going on

56
00:02:50.439 --> 00:02:52.680
out there. Yeah, Sean, why was it? Why did you

57
00:02:52.680 --> 00:02:57.080
feel it was important to contact about what you've experienced

58
00:02:57.080 --> 00:02:58.719
over the years.

59
00:03:00.080 --> 00:03:02.719
I just want to be heard. My big thing is

60
00:03:03.080 --> 00:03:06.719
I want awareness out there. I've seen this type of

61
00:03:06.719 --> 00:03:09.879
stuff for years that's going on. Like I said, I

62
00:03:09.960 --> 00:03:12.759
live now, we'll live in sunny before we live in

63
00:03:12.800 --> 00:03:16.319
the bottom in the Pocono Mountains. There's a lot of

64
00:03:16.400 --> 00:03:19.080
doubt that's out there. When they're shown to be doubt

65
00:03:19.159 --> 00:03:21.319
for this type of stuff. I know what's going on

66
00:03:21.400 --> 00:03:25.159
with Ohio. A lot of people are seeing that. I've

67
00:03:25.199 --> 00:03:27.599
been seeing this type of stuff for years. It's just

68
00:03:27.639 --> 00:03:31.000
getting more prevalent. My big thing is I just want awareness.

69
00:03:31.080 --> 00:03:33.919
I want people to learn to respect everything and just

70
00:03:34.120 --> 00:03:35.560
have the best knowledge of possible.

71
00:03:37.120 --> 00:03:41.719
I think that is a solid reason to come forward, Sean.

72
00:03:42.360 --> 00:03:44.159
So I want to make sure you have the time

73
00:03:44.520 --> 00:03:48.319
to share your experiences. And we may be discussing some

74
00:03:48.360 --> 00:03:51.039
of these as we go along, but feel free to

75
00:03:51.120 --> 00:03:54.840
take us back to, you know, where we decided to

76
00:03:54.879 --> 00:03:57.639
be best to go through this chronologically, so you know,

77
00:03:57.639 --> 00:04:00.719
feel free to take us back to the first instance

78
00:04:01.000 --> 00:04:04.719
where you experienced something that was out of the ordinary.

79
00:04:06.120 --> 00:04:09.719
So the first time I've ever experienced it. So just

80
00:04:09.759 --> 00:04:13.000
a little background about our property is my driveway is

81
00:04:13.039 --> 00:04:15.000
about a quarter mile, if not a little bit longer

82
00:04:16.120 --> 00:04:19.519
to the road. That's all excuse me, that's how far

83
00:04:19.600 --> 00:04:23.639
back we are in the woods. So I've always grown

84
00:04:23.720 --> 00:04:25.759
up in this property. This is my grandparent's property. I

85
00:04:25.800 --> 00:04:27.759
now own it. In the pre process of buying it,

86
00:04:27.800 --> 00:04:30.920
I live with them. And this time I had to

87
00:04:30.920 --> 00:04:34.000
be eleven or twelve years old and they said you

88
00:04:34.040 --> 00:04:36.199
want to go down for the mail. I said, yeah,

89
00:04:36.199 --> 00:04:39.120
I'll walk down. So I walked down the driveway the

90
00:04:39.160 --> 00:04:41.759
back road that we're at. There's nobody that really goes

91
00:04:41.759 --> 00:04:45.399
back there. The biggest thing that I've noticed that time

92
00:04:45.519 --> 00:04:47.920
was I heard something walking and this was in the

93
00:04:47.920 --> 00:04:52.519
middle of the summer, just around i'd say midday, going

94
00:04:52.519 --> 00:04:55.560
back that far. I can't really remember exact time, but

95
00:04:56.319 --> 00:05:02.160
walking through and smelling wet dog almost And as I

96
00:05:02.240 --> 00:05:05.720
was walking through, I can hear there's a thicket to

97
00:05:05.759 --> 00:05:08.199
the right of me about forty to fifty yards in.

98
00:05:08.279 --> 00:05:10.759
I can hear something walking through and brushing through. I

99
00:05:10.800 --> 00:05:13.120
would take a couple steps, and it would take a

100
00:05:13.160 --> 00:05:17.920
couple steps, I would stop, it would stop. That was

101
00:05:17.959 --> 00:05:20.399
the first time I've ever experienced something out of the

102
00:05:20.519 --> 00:05:22.680
ordinary and trying to figure out what it was. I

103
00:05:22.720 --> 00:05:26.439
didn't see anything that time at all, but it was

104
00:05:26.519 --> 00:05:28.639
just interesting because even when I did get down to

105
00:05:28.680 --> 00:05:32.160
the mail and start walking back, the same thing would

106
00:05:32.160 --> 00:05:35.319
cut and walk through the one part of our property.

107
00:05:35.560 --> 00:05:39.279
When it's about halfway through the driveway down you bear

108
00:05:39.319 --> 00:05:42.240
to the right and that's separating the woods then. So

109
00:05:42.360 --> 00:05:44.920
that's when I kind of lost it because I didn't

110
00:05:44.920 --> 00:05:46.639
really want to walk up the yard because I didn't know.

111
00:05:46.680 --> 00:05:49.800
I didn't know what it was at the time. I'm like, eh,

112
00:05:49.920 --> 00:05:52.319
it's kind of strange for me to know this, So

113
00:05:52.399 --> 00:05:54.439
I didn't know if it was a bear. I didn't

114
00:05:54.439 --> 00:05:58.199
know it was a dog, but how it sounded was

115
00:05:58.240 --> 00:06:01.839
extremely heavy talk. That was the first time I've ever

116
00:06:01.879 --> 00:06:05.120
noticed anything out of the ordinary or perceived anything. I

117
00:06:05.120 --> 00:06:06.839
should say was back then.

118
00:06:07.480 --> 00:06:11.680
Would you say, was this around just after like early

119
00:06:11.720 --> 00:06:12.360
two thousands?

120
00:06:12.360 --> 00:06:17.319
Then yeah, yeah, because I was born in your early nineties,

121
00:06:17.879 --> 00:06:20.639
so this is probably i'd say about two thousand two,

122
00:06:20.720 --> 00:06:24.199
two thousand and three, that's when I was back here

123
00:06:24.199 --> 00:06:24.600
the most.

124
00:06:25.040 --> 00:06:30.240
Okay, gotcha? And you know you mentioned your your grandparents there,

125
00:06:30.480 --> 00:06:35.160
So did they ever have any stories about like, oh, yeah,

126
00:06:35.160 --> 00:06:37.160
we don't go into this part of the property, or

127
00:06:37.600 --> 00:06:40.399
we're careful, or you know, something will get you out there.

128
00:06:41.120 --> 00:06:43.839
Did anything come up that would kind of clue you

129
00:06:43.920 --> 00:06:46.480
in that something was going on in that property.

130
00:06:48.319 --> 00:06:53.040
My grandparents are always big into being very safe, no

131
00:06:53.079 --> 00:06:56.600
matter what you're doing. They've never, i should say, my

132
00:06:56.639 --> 00:07:00.879
grandmother's never brought up about this type of stuff. She's

133
00:07:01.079 --> 00:07:05.199
very just closed. I want to say, what's in front

134
00:07:05.240 --> 00:07:06.800
of her is what she sees. That's all she knows

135
00:07:06.879 --> 00:07:12.079
type personality. So she's always big. There's big times where

136
00:07:12.399 --> 00:07:14.199
I was deer hunting and I was in the middle

137
00:07:14.279 --> 00:07:17.360
of there's a mama bear behind me in two cubs

138
00:07:17.639 --> 00:07:19.839
to the other side, and I'm standing between them. So

139
00:07:19.879 --> 00:07:22.879
there's she's always had the bear fear more than anything. Now.

140
00:07:22.879 --> 00:07:24.879
My grandfather, on the other hand, she grew up in

141
00:07:24.920 --> 00:07:27.519
a town more of a city though, about twenty minutes

142
00:07:27.519 --> 00:07:30.720
from here. My grandfather was born in these woods and

143
00:07:30.759 --> 00:07:34.399
he's been raised back here. He's the one that's more Yeah,

144
00:07:34.439 --> 00:07:36.040
and back in the day, we weren't allowed to go

145
00:07:36.120 --> 00:07:40.480
up here because there are stories that kids went missing.

146
00:07:40.519 --> 00:07:42.439
He goes about fifty years before I was back there,

147
00:07:42.600 --> 00:07:47.120
and he was born in the mid forties, and he

148
00:07:47.279 --> 00:07:50.079
just said that he's always had that weird fear of

149
00:07:50.160 --> 00:07:53.959
walking way up in the top because behind my house

150
00:07:54.000 --> 00:07:56.319
is an old train reservoir and it's an old train

151
00:07:56.360 --> 00:07:59.480
tracks that go through it. So that's the railroad bed.

152
00:07:59.480 --> 00:08:02.199
So you're when he that a lot, today's the railroad bed, okay,

153
00:08:02.199 --> 00:08:05.079
because that's what we walk through. And when you go

154
00:08:05.319 --> 00:08:09.399
a certain section back, everything's always just quiet back there.

155
00:08:12.600 --> 00:08:18.120
Okay, that's really interesting. Are there any other details you've

156
00:08:18.160 --> 00:08:22.000
noticed when it gets quiet back there ways that it

157
00:08:22.079 --> 00:08:25.079
might affect you physically or in other ways.

158
00:08:26.920 --> 00:08:33.159
My anxiety. That's the biggest thing we have back here,

159
00:08:33.440 --> 00:08:38.159
I would say, any especially when it comes to frogs.

160
00:08:38.480 --> 00:08:41.480
We have so many frogs back here. When it's like

161
00:08:41.600 --> 00:08:44.279
right now, it's you know, still in the fifties, must

162
00:08:44.320 --> 00:08:47.080
say today it's a little bit warmer. But every night

163
00:08:47.279 --> 00:08:49.600
you hear it. Now you start hearing to come and

164
00:08:49.720 --> 00:08:53.480
come out and chirping as well as the insects. There's

165
00:08:53.639 --> 00:08:56.320
birds are always going. But when everything gets quiet, I

166
00:08:56.399 --> 00:08:59.279
know something's up because there's I can be out there.

167
00:08:59.480 --> 00:09:03.399
I'm I'll be up front. I'm an avid because I hunt,

168
00:09:04.200 --> 00:09:06.960
I like to shoot, I like to target practice. I've

169
00:09:06.960 --> 00:09:10.120
shot already, And for about two minutes, three minutes, the

170
00:09:10.120 --> 00:09:12.480
bird stop, but then they start right back up again,

171
00:09:12.639 --> 00:09:15.480
like that doesn't really affect them. But when it's almost

172
00:09:15.519 --> 00:09:18.240
like there's a predator that's just staying around, that's when

173
00:09:18.279 --> 00:09:20.720
they stay quiet. And that can last for an hour,

174
00:09:21.000 --> 00:09:23.080
hour and a half to two hours sometimes.

175
00:09:23.519 --> 00:09:24.360
Oh wow, okay, And.

176
00:09:24.360 --> 00:09:28.399
I've noticed that deer hunting, gotcha. And the big thing

177
00:09:28.480 --> 00:09:29.799
is that feeling of being watched.

178
00:09:31.720 --> 00:09:36.559
Okay, so feeling of being watched high anxiety, and everything

179
00:09:36.720 --> 00:09:40.080
gets gets really quiet. Yeah, I've experienced that as well.

180
00:09:40.159 --> 00:09:45.840
It is pretty wild stuff. So you have the first

181
00:09:45.879 --> 00:09:49.919
experience when you're eleven to twelve years old, and then

182
00:09:50.759 --> 00:09:52.759
what would what would you say would be the next

183
00:09:52.799 --> 00:09:54.039
thing that happened to you?

184
00:09:55.799 --> 00:10:00.879
So I would say probably within that year. My cousin

185
00:10:01.080 --> 00:10:04.120
I have a family that lived in another state down south,

186
00:10:04.840 --> 00:10:08.120
and they came up to visit. They're all outdoorsmen as well,

187
00:10:08.960 --> 00:10:13.120
and my cousin and I decided one night, our biggest

188
00:10:13.159 --> 00:10:15.360
thing is we always loved you know, we're kids. We

189
00:10:15.480 --> 00:10:18.960
like to be scared. So we walked up and started

190
00:10:18.960 --> 00:10:20.480
walking the road bed in the middle of the night.

191
00:10:22.639 --> 00:10:25.279
He got the like, just a small little thing about it.

192
00:10:26.360 --> 00:10:28.360
He thought, like, the scariest thing happened that night is

193
00:10:28.360 --> 00:10:30.720
because he went around a tree and a squirrel jumped

194
00:10:30.759 --> 00:10:34.679
on him. Because we have northern flying squirrels here and

195
00:10:34.840 --> 00:10:37.039
one just went on him. He's like, he screamed that one.

196
00:10:37.440 --> 00:10:39.480
But as soon as he screamed, we heard something dark

197
00:10:40.120 --> 00:10:41.960
and it was heavy, and it was probably about forty

198
00:10:42.000 --> 00:10:45.320
fifty yards away from us. We didn't have our flashlights

199
00:10:45.320 --> 00:10:47.759
on because we didn't want to scare any deer. We

200
00:10:47.759 --> 00:10:51.200
were trying to go quiet. We stood still. We stayed

201
00:10:51.240 --> 00:10:54.080
there for by about forty five minutes to an hour,

202
00:10:55.080 --> 00:10:57.279
because we're like, is this a bear? What is this?

203
00:10:57.440 --> 00:10:59.720
You know, we're young, he's a little older than I am,

204
00:11:00.440 --> 00:11:03.039
and we can hear the footprints or the footsteps coming back.

205
00:11:03.320 --> 00:11:06.919
And as they're coming back, I said, you know, let's

206
00:11:07.679 --> 00:11:10.519
give it a few minutes. I whispered just to him.

207
00:11:10.519 --> 00:11:12.720
I said, let's just see maybe something will walk up

208
00:11:12.759 --> 00:11:15.559
to us. Maybe it's dear, maybe it's but he's like, no,

209
00:11:15.639 --> 00:11:18.639
that sounds almost like a big guy walking. And I'm like,

210
00:11:19.000 --> 00:11:20.879
and then I started listening like, yeah, that's kind of true.

211
00:11:20.960 --> 00:11:23.360
That does sound like that. So we didn't even have

212
00:11:23.360 --> 00:11:27.639
our flashlights on at this time. So we're sitting back,

213
00:11:28.120 --> 00:11:30.080
we're sitting here some stumps, we're sitting on the edge

214
00:11:30.080 --> 00:11:32.000
of the railroad bed, and we kind of see a

215
00:11:32.039 --> 00:11:36.679
mass just walking up to us from the moonlight, and

216
00:11:36.960 --> 00:11:39.600
it stopped and it just and it kind of almost

217
00:11:39.600 --> 00:11:44.320
disappeared at that point. So we sat there for another, say,

218
00:11:44.360 --> 00:11:47.600
five ten minutes, just sitting there trying to see it

219
00:11:47.639 --> 00:11:49.440
that moved. And I said to him, I said, you

220
00:11:49.440 --> 00:11:52.080
have your flashlight on. He said yeah, I said, let's

221
00:11:52.200 --> 00:11:55.919
shine it over there and just point out the area.

222
00:11:55.960 --> 00:11:58.720
See what we can see. Maybe it's just left. Maybe

223
00:11:58.759 --> 00:12:02.000
we didn't hear it run off. I don't know. When

224
00:12:02.480 --> 00:12:05.200
we shined our light, there's a couple of trees that

225
00:12:05.240 --> 00:12:08.840
are together and we can see about seven eight foot

226
00:12:09.200 --> 00:12:11.399
tall was a body standing behind it, and we could

227
00:12:11.440 --> 00:12:13.840
see an arm sticking around the side. This is the

228
00:12:13.879 --> 00:12:18.000
first time I've ever seen one. It had to be

229
00:12:18.639 --> 00:12:22.559
fifteen twenty yards away from us, and that's when I noticed.

230
00:12:22.600 --> 00:12:25.039
The smell was the same smell that I smelled before.

231
00:12:26.879 --> 00:12:30.200
And when we shined our lights, we kind of just like,

232
00:12:30.320 --> 00:12:34.559
oh my, and we just froze. And it was probably

233
00:12:34.559 --> 00:12:37.679
about i'd say two three minutes and this figgure just

234
00:12:37.720 --> 00:12:41.200
stood there and we didn't see the face. We didn't

235
00:12:41.200 --> 00:12:44.720
see anything. The only thing that we did see again

236
00:12:44.799 --> 00:12:48.000
was like the arm standing on the side. And all

237
00:12:48.000 --> 00:12:50.720
of a sudden, then I said, let's start backing up.

238
00:12:51.240 --> 00:12:53.679
And I said, okay, I said, don't can your back

239
00:12:53.720 --> 00:12:55.879
on it, just back it up and keep the lights

240
00:12:55.879 --> 00:12:58.039
on it. He's like, all right, let's do that. So

241
00:12:58.080 --> 00:13:01.600
we backed up maybe ten fifteen yards. One of us

242
00:13:01.679 --> 00:13:03.360
at a time would turn our head around that way,

243
00:13:03.399 --> 00:13:06.519
you know, we didn't want to trip over anything. And

244
00:13:06.559 --> 00:13:09.919
as we're backing up, we got about that ten fifteen

245
00:13:10.000 --> 00:13:12.960
yard stepped back from it. All of a sudden, we

246
00:13:12.960 --> 00:13:15.360
saw the arm raise up a little bit and like

247
00:13:15.600 --> 00:13:18.360
the hand kind of grasped the tree and it just

248
00:13:18.399 --> 00:13:20.440
spent over and just peered around and looked at us.

249
00:13:21.200 --> 00:13:22.840
And the head i'd say it was about a foot

250
00:13:22.840 --> 00:13:25.799
and a half long, the two foot long had a

251
00:13:25.840 --> 00:13:29.879
cone head. It was just huge eyes staring at us.

252
00:13:30.799 --> 00:13:33.120
And it didn't curl its teeth, it didn't do anything

253
00:13:33.159 --> 00:13:34.559
like that. It just kind of like just stared and

254
00:13:34.639 --> 00:13:37.799
like out of curiosity and watched us. And it can

255
00:13:37.879 --> 00:13:40.919
only have like the shadow, like you know when there's

256
00:13:40.919 --> 00:13:43.559
an outline of the flashlight the top part that's kind

257
00:13:43.600 --> 00:13:45.159
of where it was on the face. And we like

258
00:13:45.200 --> 00:13:47.320
I lifted up my flashlight and I said lift yours up,

259
00:13:47.480 --> 00:13:49.200
let's put on the face and see. And as soon

260
00:13:49.200 --> 00:13:50.919
as we did that kind of like tucked quick behind

261
00:13:50.919 --> 00:13:51.440
the tree again.

262
00:13:51.480 --> 00:13:57.360
Then wow. And this happened when you were between eleven

263
00:13:57.399 --> 00:13:58.200
to twelve years.

264
00:13:58.000 --> 00:14:04.840
Old, Yeah, maybe thirteenth in that ballpark. Okay, so this

265
00:14:05.000 --> 00:14:07.840
was during the summertime. I remember that because my family

266
00:14:07.879 --> 00:14:11.960
would always come up to go see some baseball games

267
00:14:11.960 --> 00:14:13.840
because they didn't have a team for their state, so

268
00:14:13.840 --> 00:14:15.919
they would always come up to War Area. So this

269
00:14:16.000 --> 00:14:16.759
was in midsummer.

270
00:14:18.720 --> 00:14:24.720
Gotcha? Could you were you able to realize or see

271
00:14:24.759 --> 00:14:28.200
anything to do with the color of it or also

272
00:14:28.320 --> 00:14:28.919
hair length?

273
00:14:30.639 --> 00:14:32.799
Hair length? I would say that about I'd say five

274
00:14:32.840 --> 00:14:35.759
to six inches all over, was hanging on the head

275
00:14:35.799 --> 00:14:39.639
a little bit longer, and it was probably a dark

276
00:14:39.720 --> 00:14:43.000
dark brown, almost a black color. But there was no

277
00:14:43.120 --> 00:14:45.000
way this like I knew this was not a bear one.

278
00:14:45.120 --> 00:14:49.039
It was a flat face. I know what a bear is,

279
00:14:49.080 --> 00:14:50.639
you know what I mean? This wasn't that I could

280
00:14:50.639 --> 00:14:53.840
see the hands that had opposable thumbs, it wasn't claws,

281
00:14:54.759 --> 00:14:58.440
and it was just too smart to be a bear.

282
00:15:02.120 --> 00:15:05.399
It was just almost like a presence that was like anew,

283
00:15:06.039 --> 00:15:08.919
not like an animal that's just sens think this was

284
00:15:08.960 --> 00:15:11.679
what it was. Just it was thinking, it was watching.

285
00:15:12.000 --> 00:15:14.720
It was very calculative, like it didn't want to make

286
00:15:14.720 --> 00:15:16.879
a wrong move. It didn't run away either.

287
00:15:20.440 --> 00:15:23.639
Could you tell anything about the muscle structure of what

288
00:15:23.679 --> 00:15:24.799
you were looking at?

289
00:15:25.879 --> 00:15:28.799
Well? Yeah, yeah, each arm was I would say, like

290
00:15:29.360 --> 00:15:32.480
I got a little bit bigger hands. If I would

291
00:15:32.480 --> 00:15:35.159
put my hands now around it, I would say, you know,

292
00:15:35.240 --> 00:15:38.720
average sized man's hands. I would probably have between my

293
00:15:38.720 --> 00:15:43.519
two middle fingers between each four arm area. It would

294
00:15:43.559 --> 00:15:46.480
probably be probably like five inches from my thumb from

295
00:15:46.519 --> 00:15:48.320
each other, and probably about four to five inches from

296
00:15:48.360 --> 00:15:51.159
my middle fingers apart. Like that was probably the girth

297
00:15:51.159 --> 00:15:54.360
of the arms. The shoulders were probably i'd save about

298
00:15:54.360 --> 00:15:59.919
four foot wide, okay, And it was just the leg

299
00:16:00.080 --> 00:16:03.559
were the same way. They're just huge. But we had

300
00:16:03.600 --> 00:16:09.759
more with that night too with it. So and again,

301
00:16:09.799 --> 00:16:11.919
like I was saying to you, like how calculative it was,

302
00:16:12.759 --> 00:16:16.000
and like thinking, we decided to just keep walking backwards

303
00:16:16.519 --> 00:16:18.320
and we would do that. And we got back like

304
00:16:18.399 --> 00:16:21.360
fifty yards and it kind of turned around and walked

305
00:16:21.399 --> 00:16:24.279
away from us. So we turned around and walked away

306
00:16:24.279 --> 00:16:28.519
from it, thinking that you know, if we start avoiding

307
00:16:28.559 --> 00:16:31.559
it and not acting like we know it, it's not

308
00:16:31.720 --> 00:16:34.559
want to follow us home. And we were probably good

309
00:16:34.559 --> 00:16:37.279
distance away from the house. As soon as we turned

310
00:16:37.320 --> 00:16:40.799
around and started walking, we made another thirty forty yards

311
00:16:40.840 --> 00:16:43.159
away from that spot. We can hear it run up

312
00:16:43.159 --> 00:16:44.759
at us, and we as soon as we turned around

313
00:16:44.759 --> 00:16:47.879
to shine our lights. Almost like you know, if you're

314
00:16:47.879 --> 00:16:49.559
ever running the woods and you go to stop, you

315
00:16:49.679 --> 00:16:51.919
kind of slide a little bit in the leaves or

316
00:16:51.960 --> 00:16:55.039
the gravel and stuff. That's kind of what it sounded like, like

317
00:16:55.000 --> 00:16:56.960
it did a dead halt and kind we could see

318
00:16:56.960 --> 00:16:59.159
it like trying to tuck behind stuff as well, and

319
00:16:59.320 --> 00:17:02.399
actually looking down on the stomach at one point because

320
00:17:02.440 --> 00:17:04.359
there was no trees there that were standing up there

321
00:17:04.400 --> 00:17:06.240
falling down, and it was like hiding behind the brush

322
00:17:06.400 --> 00:17:06.960
of the trees.

323
00:17:07.759 --> 00:17:09.960
Oh my goodness. So I want to make sure I

324
00:17:09.960 --> 00:17:13.039
get that right. So you were backing up trying to

325
00:17:13.039 --> 00:17:16.559
get away. When you turned around and then went going

326
00:17:16.720 --> 00:17:20.119
with your back to it, you heard it actually come

327
00:17:20.200 --> 00:17:21.039
up behind you.

328
00:17:22.599 --> 00:17:23.039
Yeah.

329
00:17:23.119 --> 00:17:24.400
How close did it get?

330
00:17:24.480 --> 00:17:28.240
Do you think all the closest it got to us

331
00:17:28.319 --> 00:17:29.559
was about five yards?

332
00:17:31.039 --> 00:17:35.559
Oh my goodness. What was your emotionally? What were you

333
00:17:35.559 --> 00:17:36.680
guys like at that point?

334
00:17:38.599 --> 00:17:42.200
I was crying being a young kid. My cousin was

335
00:17:42.839 --> 00:17:45.559
more trying to like take control of the situation because

336
00:17:45.599 --> 00:17:48.240
he didn't want anything that really happened to either one

337
00:17:48.279 --> 00:17:53.440
of us. We wanted to get home alive as soon

338
00:17:53.440 --> 00:17:55.839
as we started gaming it time, though, and it was

339
00:17:55.880 --> 00:17:59.519
at that closest point I started thinking to myself, I

340
00:17:59.519 --> 00:18:02.319
can remember this clear as day, that if this thing

341
00:18:02.960 --> 00:18:06.400
wanted to truly kill me and hurt me, it would have.

342
00:18:06.759 --> 00:18:08.960
There's no reason why I had to stop, you know

343
00:18:09.000 --> 00:18:11.880
what I mean. I'm I was. I was a scrawny kid.

344
00:18:12.200 --> 00:18:16.000
I was a four foot tall at the most at

345
00:18:16.000 --> 00:18:18.000
that point. Now I'm like, I'm a shorter guy. I'm

346
00:18:18.400 --> 00:18:22.039
five foot six. But this thing could have easily do

347
00:18:22.119 --> 00:18:23.759
you know it just picked us up and took off.

348
00:18:24.160 --> 00:18:26.400
It didn't do that. It only kind of acted like

349
00:18:26.400 --> 00:18:31.359
it just wanted to watch us. But it came and

350
00:18:31.400 --> 00:18:33.359
followed us all the ways back down to the house.

351
00:18:33.839 --> 00:18:35.559
And at the time, we had a border Collie mix

352
00:18:35.640 --> 00:18:40.240
outside and she came right past us. So she wasn't

353
00:18:40.240 --> 00:18:44.400
always in just pure outside dog. She was in a run.

354
00:18:45.000 --> 00:18:48.079
Some nights when we were out, we would put her.

355
00:18:48.160 --> 00:18:50.119
She had a big lead as well, and she was

356
00:18:50.119 --> 00:18:53.680
on the lead this night, and we started walking and

357
00:18:53.799 --> 00:18:56.000
it would stay at this point, like twenty yards away

358
00:18:56.000 --> 00:18:58.200
from us when we got closer to the house, kind

359
00:18:58.200 --> 00:19:00.880
of like giving a distance. And we walked up and

360
00:19:00.920 --> 00:19:03.440
got close to the house. She was the very friendly

361
00:19:03.480 --> 00:19:06.960
dog she passed now because you know age, she was old,

362
00:19:07.599 --> 00:19:10.240
but she ran between us and actually the chain rubbed

363
00:19:10.319 --> 00:19:12.480
up and actually kind of like made a mark on

364
00:19:12.519 --> 00:19:15.519
my leg because of what happened of how she was running.

365
00:19:15.720 --> 00:19:18.200
She was showing her teeth, she was growling, she was barking,

366
00:19:18.759 --> 00:19:20.839
and at that point we heard not one, but two

367
00:19:20.920 --> 00:19:24.359
different sets of what steps take off in the back?

368
00:19:24.519 --> 00:19:26.599
Okay, oh my goodness, So.

369
00:19:26.599 --> 00:19:28.319
I don't know, so I think there was another one.

370
00:19:28.319 --> 00:19:32.880
I was following along with it, right right were you

371
00:19:32.880 --> 00:19:36.079
you know, all that time where you had the visual

372
00:19:36.079 --> 00:19:38.119
and then you were being followed by it, were you

373
00:19:38.160 --> 00:19:42.839
able to hear any any sounds that could have been

374
00:19:43.359 --> 00:19:45.240
caused by what was following you?

375
00:19:47.759 --> 00:19:50.359
Just breathing? It was almost like a heavy breathing and

376
00:19:51.559 --> 00:19:55.279
like it kind of was like, oh, like that, and

377
00:19:55.359 --> 00:19:57.319
it'll kind of do that when we would shine the

378
00:19:57.400 --> 00:20:01.480
light on its face more than anything. But it tried

379
00:20:01.519 --> 00:20:04.079
to stay as quiet as it can. But when it

380
00:20:04.160 --> 00:20:06.799
was close, that's when we've really heard the breathing the

381
00:20:06.799 --> 00:20:08.319
most because it was just so you know, I was still

382
00:20:08.400 --> 00:20:13.200
thinking close to us. It didn't make any weird like

383
00:20:14.279 --> 00:20:16.119
screams at us, and didn't do anything like that. It

384
00:20:16.160 --> 00:20:18.920
was more like I was trying to be incognito without

385
00:20:19.079 --> 00:20:22.319
being incognito. It wasn't doing it, really wasn't doing it well.

386
00:20:24.480 --> 00:20:29.680
Sure, And then remind me how close it got to

387
00:20:30.799 --> 00:20:33.319
the house, So you guys get back to the house.

388
00:20:33.759 --> 00:20:35.319
How close to the house did it get?

389
00:20:37.880 --> 00:20:40.240
I would say we were about ten yards from the

390
00:20:40.279 --> 00:20:42.920
house when my dog Graham passed, and it was probably

391
00:20:42.920 --> 00:20:44.559
another twenty yards in the woods.

392
00:20:45.039 --> 00:20:52.799
Okay, maam, that is that's extremely intense. I can't imagine.

393
00:20:53.680 --> 00:20:56.119
I mean, how how how did your cousin react to this?

394
00:20:58.599 --> 00:21:01.160
So he, like I said, he's from another state, he's

395
00:21:01.240 --> 00:21:05.079
an active outdoorsman. When we and him started talking out

396
00:21:05.279 --> 00:21:07.839
about this at like the net next morning, because we

397
00:21:07.839 --> 00:21:09.559
didn't really talk about it. We wanted to get back

398
00:21:09.599 --> 00:21:12.480
in and go to sleep and just kind of get

399
00:21:12.519 --> 00:21:15.079
away from everything and you know, decompressed because we're just

400
00:21:15.160 --> 00:21:17.200
terrified of what happened. He told me this is the

401
00:21:17.240 --> 00:21:19.720
second or third time this happened, that it's happened more

402
00:21:19.720 --> 00:21:21.920
than once to him at his house too. And like

403
00:21:22.480 --> 00:21:24.920
another state, they owned a bunch of property they able

404
00:21:24.960 --> 00:21:27.319
to go out and they would be followed as well.

405
00:21:31.440 --> 00:21:35.039
Did you tell anyone about what had happened or was

406
00:21:35.079 --> 00:21:37.440
it a while before he shared it outside?

407
00:21:37.680 --> 00:21:41.599
No, I told I told my parents the next morning

408
00:21:43.319 --> 00:21:46.519
and my net my parents were that was probably just

409
00:21:46.559 --> 00:21:49.480
some guy following you. No, this wasn't a guy. I

410
00:21:49.480 --> 00:21:51.880
can tell a guy. No, this was just a guy.

411
00:21:51.920 --> 00:21:53.880
There's people that walk back there all the time. I'm like, no,

412
00:21:53.960 --> 00:21:56.079
this was not a guy. Like I know what a

413
00:21:56.079 --> 00:21:58.559
guy looks like. A guy doesn't look like this. There's

414
00:21:58.559 --> 00:22:01.119
not hair all over a man. They don't really believe

415
00:22:01.160 --> 00:22:03.599
in anything, my mom and dad with regarding this stuff.

416
00:22:04.000 --> 00:22:08.480
They don't. They've never seen anything. So they explain things

417
00:22:08.519 --> 00:22:13.839
to them. They're not for it. They've had experiences though

418
00:22:14.240 --> 00:22:16.319
that I'm like, this is what this is and they're like, no,

419
00:22:16.319 --> 00:22:17.759
now it can't be. It has to be something else.

420
00:22:17.799 --> 00:22:20.440
We just don't know what it is. So that's my

421
00:22:20.559 --> 00:22:24.240
parents dealing with it like they're very closed minded towards it,

422
00:22:24.319 --> 00:22:30.559
which is a shame because we've had friends, like my parents,

423
00:22:30.640 --> 00:22:34.920
close friends that were here. They've seen stuff, they've noticed stuff,

424
00:22:35.119 --> 00:22:37.799
they've brought it up like we're now believers to this

425
00:22:37.839 --> 00:22:40.920
stuff because of basically a night with Sean.

426
00:22:42.200 --> 00:22:48.920
Oh wow, that is wild man, So this night with

427
00:22:49.039 --> 00:22:53.440
your cousin, you're eleven to twelve years old. How did

428
00:22:53.480 --> 00:22:57.079
this start? I mean it must have affected you from

429
00:22:57.079 --> 00:23:00.359
there on out.

430
00:23:00.640 --> 00:23:04.319
That started with my obsession at that point. Then, Okay,

431
00:23:04.400 --> 00:23:11.079
because growing up before that, I've only ever thought that

432
00:23:11.119 --> 00:23:14.319
there was only like my mindset was always like it

433
00:23:14.400 --> 00:23:17.400
could be out there, it could be real. But growing

434
00:23:17.480 --> 00:23:19.400
up I never thought that it was like a full

435
00:23:19.440 --> 00:23:23.200
species of animal or whatever you want to say it

436
00:23:23.240 --> 00:23:26.160
is a creature. I always thought it was just like, oh,

437
00:23:26.200 --> 00:23:28.319
it's just a legend of Bigfoot, that there's only one

438
00:23:28.359 --> 00:23:32.279
out there. This was the one missing link, like on

439
00:23:32.319 --> 00:23:35.359
my young mind, that's all I can comprehend. So we

440
00:23:35.480 --> 00:23:38.200
had an old Gateway computer back then, and I remember

441
00:23:38.200 --> 00:23:42.960
pulling it up reading every day, just reading stuff, googling stuff.

442
00:23:43.160 --> 00:23:45.640
I would get in trouble in school because we were

443
00:23:45.640 --> 00:23:48.400
in computer club, supposed to be typing our computer class

444
00:23:48.440 --> 00:23:50.960
and learn to type, and I'm instead on Google or

445
00:23:51.440 --> 00:23:53.799
ask Jeeves whatever it was back then, trying to are

446
00:23:53.880 --> 00:23:58.079
yeahoo questions and trying to find stuff.

447
00:23:58.880 --> 00:24:03.400
Gotcha. So it really started started to take your your

448
00:24:03.960 --> 00:24:08.440
your focus for sure. So after that, what what do

449
00:24:08.480 --> 00:24:11.480
you think the next thing? That happened to you was.

450
00:24:14.400 --> 00:24:16.480
I would say it was probably another year or two.

451
00:24:16.599 --> 00:24:18.960
My cousin came back. About two years it was, so

452
00:24:19.079 --> 00:24:21.119
my cousin came back and we wanted to do the

453
00:24:21.160 --> 00:24:22.920
same thing and see if we can still see it again.

454
00:24:22.960 --> 00:24:26.680
That night we did and we walked up and we

455
00:24:26.720 --> 00:24:29.640
didn't have anything the next year, but the following year

456
00:24:29.680 --> 00:24:32.960
after that, we walked up and we went to the

457
00:24:33.000 --> 00:24:34.599
spot and we said, this is a spot We're going

458
00:24:34.680 --> 00:24:36.599
to stay here. I'm like, I have a feeling it's

459
00:24:36.640 --> 00:24:38.680
coming out. He's like, yep, it's coming out. We sat

460
00:24:38.720 --> 00:24:41.680
there for two maybe three hours. We went up. We

461
00:24:41.720 --> 00:24:45.599
started around eleven the night. We walked up and waited

462
00:24:45.799 --> 00:24:49.640
and nothing. But when we walked back, this is the

463
00:24:49.680 --> 00:24:51.400
first time I ever heard a scream in a one

464
00:24:51.480 --> 00:24:57.839
knock because we started walking and when we were coming

465
00:24:57.960 --> 00:25:00.880
back down, there's an old train reservoir back there, and

466
00:25:00.960 --> 00:25:05.039
we can hear something drinking in the train reservoir. So

467
00:25:05.119 --> 00:25:07.920
he's like, oh, what's that. He's like like, I have

468
00:25:07.920 --> 00:25:09.640
no idea. So we're trying to see what it is.

469
00:25:09.640 --> 00:25:12.200
We're trying to shine. Half of it is covered by

470
00:25:12.200 --> 00:25:15.759
fallen trees, and this was taking place in the fallen

471
00:25:15.759 --> 00:25:19.599
tree area. So my cousin picked up a rock and

472
00:25:19.640 --> 00:25:21.599
started throwing a rock in there, and they picked up

473
00:25:21.640 --> 00:25:24.640
another one started throwing it and I don't know if

474
00:25:24.640 --> 00:25:27.000
he hit it, I don't know what. But when he

475
00:25:27.039 --> 00:25:30.920
started throwing that was we're throwing towards the right to

476
00:25:31.039 --> 00:25:33.039
the left of us is when we heard the knock

477
00:25:33.839 --> 00:25:39.079
and we're like, okay, that's weird. So we kind of

478
00:25:39.079 --> 00:25:40.640
sat there for a few minutes and then we're like, well,

479
00:25:40.680 --> 00:25:42.200
let's go walk over there and see what's over there.

480
00:25:42.200 --> 00:25:44.240
Maybe you're scared it, maybe you could see footprints. And

481
00:25:44.319 --> 00:25:47.319
as soon as we started walking over to the right

482
00:25:47.599 --> 00:25:50.359
towards it, that's when we heard it scream at us.

483
00:25:55.240 --> 00:25:59.240
Okay. So and that's a new experience for you. Have

484
00:25:59.359 --> 00:26:02.440
you ever heard anything that comes close to the scream

485
00:26:02.480 --> 00:26:03.240
you heard that night?

486
00:26:05.240 --> 00:26:09.079
Oh? I lately, yeah, in the past few years, I've

487
00:26:09.079 --> 00:26:10.720
hear we hear it in the middle of the night.

488
00:26:11.799 --> 00:26:14.039
The big thing that big time actually when we hear

489
00:26:14.079 --> 00:26:17.880
it lately is we're over ram coyotes.

490
00:26:19.440 --> 00:26:19.799
Okay.

491
00:26:19.880 --> 00:26:23.880
So we have so many coyotes and there's always something

492
00:26:23.960 --> 00:26:27.640
in the coyote bunch that's going and we'll hear it

493
00:26:27.759 --> 00:26:30.880
going along with it. And then we've seen coyotes coming

494
00:26:30.920 --> 00:26:33.720
up at us all a sudden, the coyotes. You know,

495
00:26:34.440 --> 00:26:37.200
you have six or seven coyotes running through your woods.

496
00:26:38.279 --> 00:26:41.279
We've seen them all sudden. They don't notice us, they're

497
00:26:41.319 --> 00:26:43.240
looking at something else. They go to a dead stop,

498
00:26:43.720 --> 00:26:46.240
their tails are between their legs, acting terrified, and they

499
00:26:46.319 --> 00:26:48.759
kick off running and that's when we hear the scream

500
00:26:48.960 --> 00:26:51.480
because what we try to wipe them out. We have pigs,

501
00:26:51.720 --> 00:26:54.559
we have chickens, we have goats, we have a small

502
00:26:54.599 --> 00:26:58.519
farm on our property and we've had animals go missing already,

503
00:26:59.519 --> 00:27:02.400
so you know, population, especially with the coyotes. I don't

504
00:27:02.400 --> 00:27:06.759
want the deer herd to get killed either. So we

505
00:27:07.400 --> 00:27:10.160
kind of are out there all the time, even at

506
00:27:10.240 --> 00:27:12.720
night now for coyote hunting. And that's when we'll hear

507
00:27:12.759 --> 00:27:14.759
it is we'll see we've seen them twice as happened,

508
00:27:14.799 --> 00:27:18.160
is where they're running up, they're chasing up at something

509
00:27:18.519 --> 00:27:20.240
and also you just see them turn around and they're

510
00:27:20.240 --> 00:27:21.759
just acting like the scaredest thing. And that's when we'll

511
00:27:21.759 --> 00:27:25.799
hear the scream with the viepen and everything. Another time

512
00:27:25.839 --> 00:27:27.920
that we've heard it. It sounded like it was almost

513
00:27:28.200 --> 00:27:31.279
going along with it and mimicking it, which is kind

514
00:27:31.279 --> 00:27:37.240
of funny. But I can't first to say, like, can't

515
00:27:37.319 --> 00:27:39.240
one hundred percent say that was a big foot that

516
00:27:39.359 --> 00:27:42.039
doing that. That could have been just another group of coyotes.

517
00:27:42.599 --> 00:27:45.200
But it didn't purely sound like coyotes. It sound a

518
00:27:45.240 --> 00:27:46.240
little bit different.

519
00:27:46.200 --> 00:27:51.000
Gotcha, Okay, very very interesting. When so how did you

520
00:27:51.000 --> 00:27:55.079
guys react when let's say you had that scream come

521
00:27:55.119 --> 00:27:59.200
towards you. Did that affect you guys in any certain ways?

522
00:28:00.200 --> 00:28:01.640
Yeah, we were like, let's just get out of here.

523
00:28:01.720 --> 00:28:05.160
Yeah, right, okay, because.

524
00:28:04.920 --> 00:28:10.279
It sounded like that scream was an anger scream, so

525
00:28:10.480 --> 00:28:12.640
it sounded like we pissed it off. So I don't

526
00:28:12.680 --> 00:28:14.839
know if again, like my cousin went he threw the rock,

527
00:28:14.839 --> 00:28:17.039
I don't know if he hit it because we were

528
00:28:17.039 --> 00:28:20.240
throwing it right in that area and trying to flush

529
00:28:20.279 --> 00:28:22.079
something out, so I don't know if it was just

530
00:28:22.119 --> 00:28:24.119
trying to scar uce away. I mean, I'm sure that's

531
00:28:24.119 --> 00:28:26.400
what I was doing, was trying to scarce away, because again,

532
00:28:26.480 --> 00:28:28.519
like before, if it wanted to get us, we're on

533
00:28:28.559 --> 00:28:30.240
the side of the mountain having to go through sticks,

534
00:28:30.240 --> 00:28:33.680
and small trees going down us. We can't really run

535
00:28:33.720 --> 00:28:36.160
through that at night, or we have to kind of

536
00:28:36.200 --> 00:28:39.000
walk and we can hurry, but we can't run. So

537
00:28:39.000 --> 00:28:40.240
if this wanted to get us, it could.

538
00:28:40.079 --> 00:28:42.960
Have got us, right, And my thought is that just

539
00:28:42.960 --> 00:28:45.799
trying to push us out. That's that's what I had

540
00:28:46.160 --> 00:28:50.119
in mind too when I heard your first story, well,

541
00:28:50.160 --> 00:28:53.000
the one with you guys being you know, pretty much

542
00:28:53.000 --> 00:28:55.240
followed out of an area. It almost felt like it

543
00:28:55.319 --> 00:28:57.839
was maybe trying to get you away from that area

544
00:28:57.960 --> 00:29:01.079
and like make sure you'd all the way out of it.

545
00:29:01.160 --> 00:29:09.119
But who knows, who knows really, But and sorry, this

546
00:29:09.319 --> 00:29:13.000
was up by that same train area that had been

547
00:29:13.079 --> 00:29:16.880
talked about. Yeah, okay, okay, so definitely a lot of

548
00:29:16.880 --> 00:29:22.000
stuff happening up there. So okay, so that you get

549
00:29:22.079 --> 00:29:27.079
you get screened at you the wood knock. It is

550
00:29:27.400 --> 00:29:31.079
kind of an interesting just the fact that there was

551
00:29:31.119 --> 00:29:35.000
a throw of a stone thrown at at whatever was

552
00:29:35.039 --> 00:29:39.359
out there. That's kind of it'd be interesting to see

553
00:29:39.400 --> 00:29:42.200
if that affects things later in your story as well.

554
00:29:42.240 --> 00:29:45.559
But feel free to continue with with what you had

555
00:29:45.640 --> 00:29:46.440
experienced next.

556
00:29:48.279 --> 00:29:52.359
So me and my cousin we took steps back. We

557
00:29:52.400 --> 00:29:54.799
started walking back home we went. We kind of hurried

558
00:29:55.400 --> 00:29:59.359
because again I don't know if this is I want

559
00:29:59.359 --> 00:30:01.920
to kill you, get over here type scream or just

560
00:30:01.920 --> 00:30:05.839
get out of here scream. And regardless, I wanted to

561
00:30:05.880 --> 00:30:08.279
listen and just get away because I don't want to

562
00:30:08.319 --> 00:30:13.599
push animals. And we started walking away. But when we

563
00:30:13.599 --> 00:30:18.039
were going back, we heard like I would say, probably

564
00:30:18.039 --> 00:30:23.640
about five to six different footsteps walking behind us, walking

565
00:30:23.640 --> 00:30:26.440
to the side of us, in one walking too. If

566
00:30:26.480 --> 00:30:30.200
I'm looking straight at my house where we were, my

567
00:30:30.279 --> 00:30:32.559
house like towards it on the railroad bed, my house

568
00:30:32.559 --> 00:30:35.519
would be down to the left. This was down up

569
00:30:36.000 --> 00:30:38.079
on the right of the railroad bed up but in

570
00:30:38.119 --> 00:30:40.200
front of us, and we can hear them kind of

571
00:30:40.200 --> 00:30:44.759
like pushing. It felt like we were being herded out

572
00:30:44.799 --> 00:30:54.680
of there, like that's the best way to describe it.

573
00:30:54.759 --> 00:30:57.799
And when we got back to the house again, they

574
00:30:57.880 --> 00:31:00.799
got about forty fifty yards away from the house and

575
00:31:00.880 --> 00:31:03.440
I just got dead silent. But we kept walking inside

576
00:31:04.200 --> 00:31:07.279
this night. Now, the dog was in the basement because

577
00:31:08.119 --> 00:31:11.519
during the day we had a thunderstorm and she was

578
00:31:11.640 --> 00:31:15.039
terrified of any loud noises. Like we couldn't shoot during

579
00:31:15.200 --> 00:31:17.599
hunting season. We had a special area for her in

580
00:31:17.640 --> 00:31:20.680
the basement because she would just jump her fence. She

581
00:31:20.720 --> 00:31:22.279
would just get out and leave, so she was in there,

582
00:31:22.319 --> 00:31:24.440
so there was nothing off of her that night.

583
00:31:24.480 --> 00:31:37.160
Though, what would you say? Maybe there's a side question

584
00:31:37.200 --> 00:31:40.119
I want to ask here, and it might seem pretty obvious,

585
00:31:40.200 --> 00:31:46.119
but because you you are close to the Appalachian Trail, right,

586
00:31:46.160 --> 00:31:49.640
But then so half of me wants to say, okay,

587
00:31:49.680 --> 00:31:51.799
is there any chance that these could be hikers? But

588
00:31:52.200 --> 00:31:57.160
you yourself said you saw a large, hairy creature in

589
00:31:57.200 --> 00:32:00.559
your flashlight being when you were eleven to twelve years old.

590
00:32:00.839 --> 00:32:09.240
So yeah, yeah, Now these these weren't hikers because the

591
00:32:09.319 --> 00:32:12.039
railroad bed where it goes through our property is probably

592
00:32:12.039 --> 00:32:14.079
one hundred yards one hundred and fifty yards past our

593
00:32:14.079 --> 00:32:17.599
house that we have to walk up to. This might

594
00:32:17.680 --> 00:32:20.880
be they're coming down on our property. All my life,

595
00:32:21.279 --> 00:32:25.039
every tree, we have no trust passing signs, no trustpassing signs,

596
00:32:25.039 --> 00:32:28.920
no trustpassing signs. The other part of that is where

597
00:32:28.920 --> 00:32:32.680
this railroad bed is. It's right next to the Appalation Trail,

598
00:32:32.799 --> 00:32:35.119
but it's not part of the Appalation Trail, so there

599
00:32:35.160 --> 00:32:38.440
is a spot where hikers can go if you went

600
00:32:38.480 --> 00:32:41.160
and drove over probably like a mile away from my house.

601
00:32:41.200 --> 00:32:44.640
There's actually a hiking spot where people could sleep in

602
00:32:44.960 --> 00:32:48.559
and they have like a well water there, but there's

603
00:32:48.559 --> 00:32:52.200
no way without them walking through private property to get

604
00:32:52.240 --> 00:32:53.960
to this spot. On how these things are.

605
00:32:53.839 --> 00:32:56.599
Going, Okay, got it, And we kind of had a

606
00:32:56.640 --> 00:33:01.279
conversation before the show where this part of the country

607
00:33:01.599 --> 00:33:05.720
you don't want to be trespassing because you will pay

608
00:33:05.759 --> 00:33:11.000
for it potentially dearly. Absolutely yeah, not not to say

609
00:33:11.039 --> 00:33:13.519
that it would be from you guys, but there could

610
00:33:13.519 --> 00:33:16.119
be certain areas in this area where you trespass on

611
00:33:16.240 --> 00:33:19.799
it you could pay very dearly from landowners.

612
00:33:20.119 --> 00:33:23.559
So absolutely yeah. There's a lot of people that are

613
00:33:23.599 --> 00:33:29.920
here that we have X. I don't want to say

614
00:33:29.960 --> 00:33:31.559
what they are because I don't want to come across

615
00:33:31.599 --> 00:33:35.559
them because I'm not this way. But retired officers we

616
00:33:35.680 --> 00:33:40.359
have back here and they're very big into my family safety.

617
00:33:40.759 --> 00:33:47.519
They're very big into our safety wellbeings of everybody we have.

618
00:33:47.680 --> 00:33:49.599
Like I said, we have a few back here. We

619
00:33:49.680 --> 00:33:52.720
have a couple neighbors, as I'll talking, that aren't the

620
00:33:52.759 --> 00:33:57.920
best people before be and those neighbor like the good

621
00:33:58.039 --> 00:34:01.720
the cops retired officers. We're very cool with each other.

622
00:34:02.160 --> 00:34:05.279
We're very big into if I walk over on your property,

623
00:34:05.279 --> 00:34:07.319
I'm going to send you a text message, right, And

624
00:34:07.359 --> 00:34:10.440
it's the same thing. We're very respectful with each other.

625
00:34:11.760 --> 00:34:16.320
But if there's anybody else, now, no, you don't want

626
00:34:16.320 --> 00:34:17.239
people back here?

627
00:34:17.679 --> 00:34:20.960
Yeah, I think that's a good, good, good thing to

628
00:34:21.000 --> 00:34:27.119
bring up in this conversation. So so you have there's

629
00:34:27.119 --> 00:34:30.880
footsteps all around you on the way back to the home,

630
00:34:31.360 --> 00:34:35.960
and then well, would that be the end of that

631
00:34:36.159 --> 00:34:37.639
particular encounter then.

632
00:34:39.079 --> 00:34:39.440
That one?

633
00:34:39.559 --> 00:34:40.280
Yes, okay?

634
00:34:40.320 --> 00:34:42.679
And again we had I don't know if I mentioned this,

635
00:34:42.920 --> 00:34:44.639
but we had that same smell when we were getting

636
00:34:44.639 --> 00:34:48.519
close back the house of that like wet dog. Got it?

637
00:34:48.639 --> 00:34:52.760
Wet dog smell? Okay. So then at this point, you are,

638
00:34:54.199 --> 00:34:59.920
I would say, what, fourteen to fifteen years old about that?

639
00:35:00.280 --> 00:35:01.559
Okay? Got ya?

640
00:35:01.679 --> 00:35:05.159
And so you are starting you know, you're getting out

641
00:35:05.159 --> 00:35:11.320
of junior high getting into high school, and so would

642
00:35:11.400 --> 00:35:13.840
you say that from the beginning when you first started

643
00:35:15.440 --> 00:35:20.480
realizing or you're eleven to twelve years old, were you

644
00:35:20.559 --> 00:35:22.679
do you feel like you were really aware of the

645
00:35:22.719 --> 00:35:25.480
gravity of what was going on here? Did that start

646
00:35:25.519 --> 00:35:28.960
to come to light? As you became older.

647
00:35:30.760 --> 00:35:35.320
Oh yeah, absolutely, Like and I think back and going

648
00:35:35.360 --> 00:35:39.679
back that there's always been small weird things that's happened,

649
00:35:41.519 --> 00:35:43.559
and it's just one of those things like you know,

650
00:35:43.679 --> 00:35:47.159
I'm outside playing with my sister where I might say

651
00:35:47.199 --> 00:35:49.239
six or seven or eight or nine, like you know,

652
00:35:49.360 --> 00:35:53.159
young in the front yard and like I said, everything

653
00:35:53.199 --> 00:35:56.400
goes quiet. Could have that been something watching us? Like

654
00:35:56.679 --> 00:35:59.960
it's maybe not maybe as I can't really say definite

655
00:36:00.440 --> 00:36:04.559
what it is, but there's just like small weird things

656
00:36:04.599 --> 00:36:09.400
like that, like is this all tied that? Is there

657
00:36:09.480 --> 00:36:11.719
a big population here that we don't know of either?

658
00:36:12.559 --> 00:36:16.079
Sure? Sure, if that is definitely something to think about.

659
00:36:16.119 --> 00:36:18.719
I'm sure you have caves in the area as well.

660
00:36:19.280 --> 00:36:24.880
Absolutely, yeah, Yeah, we have one cave that nobody goes to.

661
00:36:26.559 --> 00:36:28.679
Everybody's actually kind of terrified of it. And it's not

662
00:36:28.760 --> 00:36:32.679
for this, but it's every year you will see. We

663
00:36:32.800 --> 00:36:36.119
have about i'd say he's close to six hundred pounds,

664
00:36:36.119 --> 00:36:39.360
but a big black bear, okay, and he has his

665
00:36:39.480 --> 00:36:43.239
one that he goes and he hibernates in there. So

666
00:36:43.280 --> 00:36:44.960
there's been times where we've walked up there and you

667
00:36:44.960 --> 00:36:47.039
can see the rear end of his rear end of

668
00:36:47.119 --> 00:36:50.360
him sticking out of it. But so we know kind

669
00:36:50.360 --> 00:36:52.800
of like where the caves are. There's a lot back here,

670
00:36:53.639 --> 00:36:56.679
but we just nobody really goes back there, especially during

671
00:36:56.679 --> 00:36:58.599
the winter, because we don't want to disturb the bears.

672
00:36:59.599 --> 00:37:04.320
So the next thing that happened was the first year

673
00:37:04.360 --> 00:37:11.000
I went deer hunting. Was on our property and I

674
00:37:11.159 --> 00:37:14.760
was my best friend was hunting with me, and my

675
00:37:14.840 --> 00:37:16.679
dad was hunting with me. My dad was hunting down

676
00:37:16.679 --> 00:37:20.119
at the house. My best friend was hunting. There's a

677
00:37:20.199 --> 00:37:22.880
valley way up in the woods up again with the

678
00:37:22.960 --> 00:37:28.079
railroad bed. That's the common theme here. And he said

679
00:37:28.239 --> 00:37:32.119
he can smell something sour. He said something that turns

680
00:37:32.159 --> 00:37:36.880
something musky, and I said, okay, And he was telling

681
00:37:36.920 --> 00:37:38.880
me and my dad this while we're eating at the

682
00:37:38.920 --> 00:37:41.159
diner and my Dad's like, I don't know what it is,

683
00:37:41.440 --> 00:37:43.519
and he's like, I don't know. He's like, it's almost

684
00:37:43.639 --> 00:37:47.239
like a wet dog or something like a garbage fest string.

685
00:37:48.159 --> 00:37:50.440
And we started talking a little bit and he goes,

686
00:37:50.480 --> 00:37:53.159
the weird thing is, as I'm sitting there, he goes,

687
00:37:53.159 --> 00:37:55.280
I thought I heard something walking through the brush to

688
00:37:55.320 --> 00:37:57.719
the left of me. Because we have a lot of

689
00:37:57.800 --> 00:38:02.159
thickets back in here, and the deer go through them.

690
00:38:02.320 --> 00:38:04.320
There's thickets that are so thick that the deer have

691
00:38:04.360 --> 00:38:06.960
to crawl kind of and like go underneath on their

692
00:38:07.000 --> 00:38:10.039
bellies and go underneath things. Because but they use this

693
00:38:10.119 --> 00:38:13.440
as a safeway channel for deer hunters, so especially when

694
00:38:13.480 --> 00:38:15.519
they hear the first shot. Deer smart they go in there.

695
00:38:16.000 --> 00:38:17.639
You have to walk through it to push them out

696
00:38:18.079 --> 00:38:20.280
once they get in there. And he was saying that

697
00:38:20.280 --> 00:38:22.920
he's like, I hear something through he goes. I thought

698
00:38:22.960 --> 00:38:25.360
I kind of saw it looked like he goes a man.

699
00:38:26.800 --> 00:38:32.800
But he's like, you should be wearing orange. I said, yeah,

700
00:38:32.800 --> 00:38:34.559
I'm like, Terry, he should be wearing orange. He goes.

701
00:38:34.599 --> 00:38:36.880
This guy, it looked like he was just wearing all

702
00:38:36.920 --> 00:38:39.440
like almost like a dark gray, almost like a black.

703
00:38:40.159 --> 00:38:41.920
He goes, but he goes, I can only see it

704
00:38:41.960 --> 00:38:44.639
through the thicket and see the shape walking through it.

705
00:38:45.199 --> 00:38:46.760
And he said, and I pulled my gun up on

706
00:38:46.840 --> 00:38:48.920
it because he goes. Maybe I thought it was a bear.

707
00:38:49.719 --> 00:38:51.920
He's like just trying to think, like what could this speak.

708
00:38:52.519 --> 00:38:53.960
And he said, as soon as I pulled my gun

709
00:38:54.039 --> 00:38:57.320
up on it, he heard something to the right and

710
00:38:57.360 --> 00:38:59.519
he turned and looked over to the right, and he

711
00:38:59.559 --> 00:39:02.199
looked back over that thing was gone then, So I

712
00:39:02.239 --> 00:39:04.480
thought that was just a little bit weird. But that

713
00:39:04.559 --> 00:39:08.159
was probably the next experience that we've had. I didn't

714
00:39:08.320 --> 00:39:11.559
really notice anything except hearing something to one past on

715
00:39:11.639 --> 00:39:13.360
the other side of the railroad bed where I can't

716
00:39:13.400 --> 00:39:16.559
really see. But it happened right when this happened, like

717
00:39:16.599 --> 00:39:20.719
a minute after him.

718
00:39:20.960 --> 00:39:23.400
Okay, And how well do you think you were at

719
00:39:23.400 --> 00:39:23.840
that time?

720
00:39:25.599 --> 00:39:30.280
Sixteen seventeen, This was mid morning and this was right

721
00:39:30.360 --> 00:39:35.199
after this is the first Saturday and dear season. Okay,

722
00:39:35.519 --> 00:39:38.360
so end of November beginning of December?

723
00:39:42.000 --> 00:39:46.239
Did the interactions start to become different? As you started

724
00:39:46.239 --> 00:39:52.000
to become you went from a younger individual's now you're

725
00:39:53.440 --> 00:39:58.559
an individual that's in the woods with a weapon that

726
00:39:58.800 --> 00:40:05.119
is trying to get the same type of really food

727
00:40:05.239 --> 00:40:08.880
that they are probably trying to get themselves.

728
00:40:10.239 --> 00:40:17.400
Ah yeah, yeah. And honestly, I've had less negative feelings

729
00:40:17.440 --> 00:40:20.119
about it though since like doing a lot of research

730
00:40:20.159 --> 00:40:24.760
growing up as well with it and being out doing

731
00:40:24.880 --> 00:40:30.320
archery and doing rifle going out with them. I've had

732
00:40:30.960 --> 00:40:34.199
on all year, like I've had better experiences with them

733
00:40:34.239 --> 00:40:36.039
I've been knowing now more of what to look for

734
00:40:36.199 --> 00:40:41.519
to regarding it, and I seem like we kind of

735
00:40:41.559 --> 00:40:43.000
co have now more than anything.

736
00:40:44.719 --> 00:40:46.280
And what does that mean exactly?

737
00:40:48.239 --> 00:40:52.719
So before I think of my cousin throwing the rocks

738
00:40:52.760 --> 00:40:57.559
at it, I wouldn't do that. Now. If I hear something,

739
00:40:57.639 --> 00:41:00.440
I'm going to be more respectful to it. I'm not

740
00:41:00.480 --> 00:41:04.280
going to try to disturb it or scare it away.

741
00:41:04.840 --> 00:41:08.360
Like I've got more respect for these creatures. And I

742
00:41:08.400 --> 00:41:14.960
think doing that, they've kind of come to us now

743
00:41:15.760 --> 00:41:17.960
in a way. They come a lot closer now to

744
00:41:18.000 --> 00:41:24.719
the house. And I've seen them fifteen yards from the house.

745
00:41:25.639 --> 00:41:30.239
Oh man, just like cutting through. Yeah. But well, and

746
00:41:30.480 --> 00:41:32.360
I did have a good hunting story, I think. Actually

747
00:41:32.400 --> 00:41:36.119
that's the one that I emailed you about when we

748
00:41:36.119 --> 00:41:43.480
were talking. This was a multiple. When I say multiple,

749
00:41:43.519 --> 00:41:46.920
it was three of us. That's all. This one. The

750
00:41:46.920 --> 00:41:49.920
one individual is no longer with us. That that was

751
00:41:50.800 --> 00:41:54.320
my friend that just had the last experience. He passed

752
00:41:54.320 --> 00:41:59.519
away in twenty fourteen. But he was an older guy.

753
00:41:59.559 --> 00:42:02.599
He was in his sixties, late sixties when he died.

754
00:42:02.599 --> 00:42:05.639
But he's been to other countries. He's been to the Vietnam.

755
00:42:05.679 --> 00:42:07.400
He's a war guy. He's always been out in the

756
00:42:07.400 --> 00:42:09.559
woods just like me. He kind of like me and

757
00:42:09.639 --> 00:42:12.480
my dad have a good relationship overall, but he was

758
00:42:12.480 --> 00:42:17.960
like my second dad to me. And what happened with

759
00:42:18.000 --> 00:42:21.039
this one. My dad was the third witness to it,

760
00:42:21.239 --> 00:42:24.519
but he's still to this day he's like, I can't

761
00:42:24.559 --> 00:42:28.360
be that. How to be something else? He didn't, but

762
00:42:28.400 --> 00:42:29.639
he was that of the three of us, not the

763
00:42:29.639 --> 00:42:33.000
one to see it directly. So what happened was we

764
00:42:33.119 --> 00:42:38.719
have an area where the tooth thickets joined on our property,

765
00:42:38.800 --> 00:42:42.519
and I was sitting there because the deer was getting it.

766
00:42:42.559 --> 00:42:44.440
There was a drive that was going on on two

767
00:42:44.519 --> 00:42:47.159
neighbors away property, so I said, they're going to sneak

768
00:42:47.239 --> 00:42:50.360
up here. They're going to cut up through, So I said.

769
00:42:50.559 --> 00:42:52.559
My dad sat down at near the house at a

770
00:42:52.559 --> 00:42:55.800
tree stand. I'm probably another two hundred two hundred and

771
00:42:55.800 --> 00:42:58.719
fifty yards off the property, and then my friend's probably

772
00:42:58.760 --> 00:43:01.920
another two three hundred yards away from me, just going

773
00:43:02.039 --> 00:43:05.559
further away from my dad. I was sitting there and

774
00:43:05.760 --> 00:43:09.239
I heard and this happened in twenty fourteen. I'm sorry,

775
00:43:09.320 --> 00:43:13.280
twenty thirteen. This happened, and as I'm because this is

776
00:43:13.280 --> 00:43:17.599
a year before my friend died. And as I'm sitting there,

777
00:43:18.679 --> 00:43:22.280
he texted. My dad texted me and said, I think

778
00:43:22.320 --> 00:43:24.280
you have a dough coming. I hear something coming up.

779
00:43:24.840 --> 00:43:30.679
I said, okay, sounds good. My gun of choice was

780
00:43:30.719 --> 00:43:33.320
a and I'll tell you why I felt this was necessary.

781
00:43:34.079 --> 00:43:37.599
But it was a Mossberg five hundred, which is a

782
00:43:37.639 --> 00:43:39.800
twelve gage. I had a rifle barrel and it I

783
00:43:39.800 --> 00:43:42.239
had a scope on it. I can shoot one hundred

784
00:43:42.320 --> 00:43:44.960
yards fine with that thing. I've gotten probably about six

785
00:43:45.000 --> 00:43:47.880
seven deer since I started hunting to this point. Well,

786
00:43:47.920 --> 00:43:49.840
I had a big dough that came pushing through, and

787
00:43:49.880 --> 00:43:52.119
she had a weigh one hundred and thirty hundred and

788
00:43:52.199 --> 00:43:57.400
forty pounds without being dressed like with you know, everything intact,

789
00:43:58.800 --> 00:44:01.000
and she was I know, deer. She was about four

790
00:44:01.039 --> 00:44:05.280
or five years old. And when she came out, she

791
00:44:05.400 --> 00:44:08.239
wasn't acting right. She was acting that something was right

792
00:44:08.239 --> 00:44:12.599
behind her. And I'm like, okay, and I stood up

793
00:44:12.599 --> 00:44:15.519
and I went right right trying to get her attention

794
00:44:15.599 --> 00:44:17.840
because she just going to keep bolting, but acting like

795
00:44:17.880 --> 00:44:19.159
she didn't know which way to go. And when I

796
00:44:19.199 --> 00:44:23.119
did that, she looked at me. But then like, have

797
00:44:23.199 --> 00:44:25.239
you ever seen a deer like something scared of the

798
00:44:25.280 --> 00:44:29.119
deer and they just stop and staring, kind of jump

799
00:44:29.159 --> 00:44:30.719
a little bit and just like and do that little

800
00:44:30.760 --> 00:44:34.679
foot stop. Yeah, she did that, but her head was

801
00:44:34.719 --> 00:44:38.039
turned completely away from me. She saw that I was there.

802
00:44:38.280 --> 00:44:40.760
I made enough noise that she was there. She stopped.

803
00:44:40.800 --> 00:44:43.199
She did exactly what I wanted to, but her focus

804
00:44:43.280 --> 00:44:47.599
wasn't on me. It was on something behind her, So

805
00:44:48.559 --> 00:44:50.440
I wasn't thinking. No. I thought, maybe it's a buck

806
00:44:50.519 --> 00:44:52.719
coming through. Maybe it's some more deer and she's just looking.

807
00:44:53.320 --> 00:44:55.679
So what I did was I put my gun on her,

808
00:44:56.679 --> 00:44:59.079
pulled the trigger. Shot. She did four or five steps,

809
00:44:59.079 --> 00:45:00.400
and she was down right away. It was a good

810
00:45:00.719 --> 00:45:05.159
heart shot. I heard something kind of run away a

811
00:45:05.199 --> 00:45:10.880
little bit when I shot. So my dad always taught

812
00:45:10.920 --> 00:45:13.719
me because he's a hunter. Two, we always have, you know,

813
00:45:13.880 --> 00:45:15.920
go out with a thermos. If we shoot a gear,

814
00:45:16.679 --> 00:45:18.280
we at least have we make ourselves a cup of

815
00:45:18.280 --> 00:45:21.159
coffee before we go over to it. That way, make

816
00:45:21.199 --> 00:45:23.280
sure you know, bleeds out. We don't want it to stress.

817
00:45:23.800 --> 00:45:26.760
We want it to be as humane as possible. I'd

818
00:45:26.760 --> 00:45:29.400
hate to say hunting it doesn't really sound humane, you know,

819
00:45:29.440 --> 00:45:32.159
going out, we're killing animals, but we tried to make

820
00:45:32.199 --> 00:45:35.639
it as best as we can for everything. So right

821
00:45:35.679 --> 00:45:38.199
away I opened I had a twinkie. I opened up

822
00:45:38.199 --> 00:45:41.760
my twinkie. I started pouring my cup of coffee, and

823
00:45:41.840 --> 00:45:43.599
I took my first step, and I can hear our

824
00:45:43.639 --> 00:45:45.599
sit and I can hear something stepping through and just

825
00:45:45.639 --> 00:45:49.559
crashing through the thicket, and I'm like, what the crap

826
00:45:49.679 --> 00:45:53.719
is this? And sure enough, this one was seven eight

827
00:45:53.760 --> 00:45:56.800
foot about four and a half foot five foot was

828
00:45:56.840 --> 00:46:00.199
It's a shoulder span and a reddish dark brown or

829
00:46:01.000 --> 00:46:04.800
comes walking through and it just stops, stares at me.

830
00:46:05.519 --> 00:46:09.679
And that lasted for two minutes, and I'm just holding

831
00:46:10.039 --> 00:46:14.920
my shotgun in my hand. I'm refusing to pick up

832
00:46:14.960 --> 00:46:17.280
my phone. I have my gun on me because I'm like,

833
00:46:17.280 --> 00:46:20.320
if this thing comes charging at me, I don't want

834
00:46:20.360 --> 00:46:23.079
to be holding my phone. I rather hold my calvegaateents

835
00:46:23.119 --> 00:46:26.760
just start unloading on it, because my safety is what's concerned.

836
00:46:27.480 --> 00:46:30.519
And it took two three steps towards me and just

837
00:46:30.559 --> 00:46:33.159
like kind of like almost act like a bluff charge.

838
00:46:35.039 --> 00:46:36.880
That's the best way to describe it. Like it kept

839
00:46:36.880 --> 00:46:39.800
going and like pushing its shoulders out at me and

840
00:46:39.840 --> 00:46:42.320
like jerking its head and looking at me and going

841
00:46:44.079 --> 00:46:46.760
like that type of sounds and just stepping towards me.

842
00:46:46.800 --> 00:46:52.719
So I like, either this is Hollywood's greatest hoax of

843
00:46:52.760 --> 00:46:55.039
a suit. That's some millionaire and this neck of the

844
00:46:55.079 --> 00:46:58.119
woods got to do this, or this is a real bigfoot.

845
00:46:59.559 --> 00:47:01.840
I pulled a gun on it. This is why I

846
00:47:01.880 --> 00:47:04.199
said it's important because I had my crosshairs on it.

847
00:47:04.840 --> 00:47:07.239
I had it ready to go, ready to shoot, finger

848
00:47:07.280 --> 00:47:09.719
on the trigger, and it just stopped and it just

849
00:47:09.719 --> 00:47:12.199
stared at me and it kept doing it, and I'm like,

850
00:47:13.480 --> 00:47:16.440
I don't want to shoot this. I don't want to

851
00:47:16.960 --> 00:47:20.119
because I'm like, I don't know if the twelve gage

852
00:47:20.880 --> 00:47:22.679
at forty five yard is going to kill this thing

853
00:47:23.320 --> 00:47:25.599
if I've wound it. If I just wound this thing,

854
00:47:25.639 --> 00:47:32.719
I'm I'm in trouble. And it kind of kept doing

855
00:47:32.760 --> 00:47:35.400
this bluff charge for a little bit more. It would

856
00:47:35.400 --> 00:47:36.920
take a couple of steps and it back up, do

857
00:47:37.000 --> 00:47:39.000
a couple steps and back up, and I kind of

858
00:47:39.000 --> 00:47:41.039
just stood my ground, gun pointed ready to go though,

859
00:47:41.119 --> 00:47:45.119
just in case I needed to. Eventually it kind of

860
00:47:45.119 --> 00:47:46.800
just stopped. It just started staring at me like it

861
00:47:46.960 --> 00:47:49.800
just thick and and I felt my gun down and

862
00:47:49.880 --> 00:47:52.880
just kept staring at it back and this lasted. This

863
00:47:52.920 --> 00:47:56.000
whole experience was probably i'd say about ten minutes. Mind you,

864
00:47:56.119 --> 00:47:59.639
my phone's going off because my dad's texting me the

865
00:47:59.719 --> 00:48:02.159
entire time, trying to figure out because like I heard

866
00:48:02.199 --> 00:48:04.400
you shoot, did you get one? I'm waiting to let

867
00:48:04.440 --> 00:48:07.440
you know, to tell me to come up. I'm not.

868
00:48:07.679 --> 00:48:09.880
And that's you know. I read the messages after this

869
00:48:09.920 --> 00:48:14.719
whole thing happened. This thing turned around. I remember reached

870
00:48:14.719 --> 00:48:17.360
down one handed, grabbed the deer by the head, the

871
00:48:17.440 --> 00:48:21.280
whole head. Hand engulfed the deer head. It went around it,

872
00:48:21.280 --> 00:48:23.559
it picked it up, threw it over its shoulder kind

873
00:48:23.559 --> 00:48:25.679
of like slung it, and looked at me and just

874
00:48:25.719 --> 00:48:29.360
did a big runt like I know who you are,

875
00:48:29.400 --> 00:48:33.639
type grount like like this, and then just walked up.

876
00:48:34.800 --> 00:48:37.519
And I waited till I was out of the distance,

877
00:48:37.599 --> 00:48:39.880
just watching. I had my gun like I had my

878
00:48:39.920 --> 00:48:42.840
scope on it. I'm watching the thing go up. Next

879
00:48:42.880 --> 00:48:47.239
thing I know, my friend texted me. He called me.

880
00:48:47.480 --> 00:48:49.360
I'm talking to him on the phone. My dad still

881
00:48:49.679 --> 00:48:51.960
hasn't heard anything. From me yet, and my friend's like,

882
00:48:53.000 --> 00:48:54.440
was that the deer that I just saw this thing

883
00:48:54.480 --> 00:48:59.679
carry out? I said, yeah, yes it is. And he's like,

884
00:48:59.719 --> 00:49:02.280
this is was huge. I said yeah. He's like I

885
00:49:02.320 --> 00:49:04.360
didn't know whether, I didn't know what to do. He's like,

886
00:49:04.400 --> 00:49:09.880
I've never thought i'd see this happened. I'm like, I know,

887
00:49:10.400 --> 00:49:14.000
I know, and he just goes. The thing looked at me,

888
00:49:14.719 --> 00:49:16.719
he said. I looked at him, and he goes, I

889
00:49:16.719 --> 00:49:18.920
didn't say anything to it. I just kind of looked.

890
00:49:18.920 --> 00:49:21.079
He's like, I felt like at that point, he goes,

891
00:49:22.079 --> 00:49:24.599
I've been in the Philippines, I've been to Vietnam, I've

892
00:49:24.639 --> 00:49:27.119
been He's been all over the world, and he said,

893
00:49:27.239 --> 00:49:29.320
at that point in my life, he goes, I felt

894
00:49:29.719 --> 00:49:32.920
like I was an inch tall in the world. He's like, ah,

895
00:49:33.320 --> 00:49:35.039
that just kind of blew my mind, he said. To

896
00:49:35.039 --> 00:49:38.400
see He goes, I've never experienced that in my life,

897
00:49:38.880 --> 00:49:41.840
to see somebody's deer pick got picked up, run over

898
00:49:41.840 --> 00:49:43.559
the shoulder or something like that, and just being carried

899
00:49:43.599 --> 00:49:46.880
off like that. And he goes, this thing knows that

900
00:49:46.960 --> 00:49:49.599
it's the boss around here. I said, oh, yeah, I

901
00:49:49.639 --> 00:49:52.199
said it, and I'm like, I'm not fighting this thing.

902
00:49:52.559 --> 00:49:56.159
I'm not I refuse. I would lose this. So my

903
00:49:56.239 --> 00:49:59.199
dad came up, I remember, and he looks at me,

904
00:49:59.360 --> 00:50:02.239
and the biggest joke I've got plenty of deer in

905
00:50:02.239 --> 00:50:04.400
my life, but the biggest joke in the family is

906
00:50:04.440 --> 00:50:09.199
that I have a terrible shot. And my dad saw

907
00:50:09.199 --> 00:50:12.599
the blood pile. He's like, oh, you did a good hit.

908
00:50:12.639 --> 00:50:15.039
I said yeah, and then he goes where to get

909
00:50:15.079 --> 00:50:17.280
up to. I said, you don't believe what happened. He

910
00:50:17.320 --> 00:50:20.000
goes what I told him. He's like, oh, yeah, that's

911
00:50:20.199 --> 00:50:23.920
you're funny. I said, no, Dad, that's what happened. He goes, oh, no, no,

912
00:50:24.039 --> 00:50:27.400
not at all. That didn't happen. He's like, it didn't

913
00:50:27.440 --> 00:50:28.960
got up and he just tell me this. I said, no,

914
00:50:29.679 --> 00:50:33.519
it didn't. So we walked over. The weird thing he

915
00:50:33.559 --> 00:50:37.679
said is he could see where I would probably say

916
00:50:37.840 --> 00:50:42.119
about twenty inches and about nine inches wide, maybe ten

917
00:50:42.159 --> 00:50:44.599
inches wide. There was impressions in the dirt from the

918
00:50:44.599 --> 00:50:47.800
footsteps of it, but it wasn't anything that we can

919
00:50:47.840 --> 00:50:50.639
really take a picture of, because it was more like

920
00:50:50.719 --> 00:50:53.039
just broken leaves into it and pressed in a little

921
00:50:53.079 --> 00:50:57.079
bit and that's about it. But during those whole impressions.

922
00:50:58.239 --> 00:51:01.239
That's where the blood trail kept going up, and I

923
00:51:01.320 --> 00:51:03.719
walked right up past my friend. My friend told my

924
00:51:03.800 --> 00:51:05.239
dad and my Dad's like, no, you guys are just

925
00:51:05.480 --> 00:51:10.199
taking my chain. I'm like, no, we're not. So again,

926
00:51:10.440 --> 00:51:12.519
this is where I said my dad saw evidence and

927
00:51:12.519 --> 00:51:17.480
he just refuses to believe it. But the for again,

928
00:51:17.519 --> 00:51:22.199
five six inches long, arms were huge. The thing probably

929
00:51:22.239 --> 00:51:24.599
weigh my guess is about eight nine hundred pounds.

930
00:51:24.960 --> 00:51:34.119
Okay, man, this is absolutely incredible. It's unique. It's really

931
00:51:34.199 --> 00:51:38.559
unique for at least one fact that I'm noticing. And

932
00:51:38.599 --> 00:51:42.039
so I've talked to multiple hunters or heard multiple hunters

933
00:51:42.119 --> 00:51:46.639
being interviewed, and they're always like, I couldn't take the

934
00:51:46.679 --> 00:51:49.679
shot because I wasn't sure if it was human or not.

935
00:51:50.719 --> 00:51:55.039
But your reason was completely different. Is you pretty much

936
00:51:55.239 --> 00:51:59.239
didn't want to make it mad and then risk yourself

937
00:52:00.079 --> 00:52:01.559
now losing your life.

938
00:52:02.639 --> 00:52:07.360
Yeah, which is a creaty because I have so Like

939
00:52:07.400 --> 00:52:09.880
I said, the big joke in the family is I've

940
00:52:09.880 --> 00:52:15.280
gotten bucks before my life. I don't have any antler

941
00:52:15.280 --> 00:52:18.679
to show it though. All the all the bucks that

942
00:52:18.679 --> 00:52:21.239
I've gotten in my life are I know, the deer,

943
00:52:21.280 --> 00:52:23.239
but they're late season when after they drop their horns.

944
00:52:25.000 --> 00:52:26.760
But when I see the rack, I get bucked fever.

945
00:52:26.920 --> 00:52:29.639
My hands start shaking and I mess up the shot.

946
00:52:29.760 --> 00:52:31.639
That's when I get And so I learned not to

947
00:52:31.719 --> 00:52:35.119
chewed that bucks because I'm like, well, I just don't

948
00:52:35.119 --> 00:52:39.199
want to shoot and accidentally moan something either. But that's

949
00:52:39.400 --> 00:52:41.760
why they're always making you have the bad shot. And

950
00:52:41.800 --> 00:52:42.960
that's just in my head that I want to have

951
00:52:43.000 --> 00:52:45.800
a bad shot on it. But I didn't want to

952
00:52:45.800 --> 00:52:47.280
do anything to piss this thing off.

953
00:52:48.400 --> 00:52:52.039
Yeah, understandable. So when you're staring at it, how far

954
00:52:52.119 --> 00:52:54.840
away is it?

955
00:52:54.880 --> 00:52:57.760
About forty five fifty yards? Okay, got as far away

956
00:52:57.760 --> 00:53:00.400
as the deer was when I shot. It came right

957
00:53:00.480 --> 00:53:04.840
up the same path as the deer did. And I

958
00:53:04.880 --> 00:53:08.719
went back the next day because that was a Saturday,

959
00:53:08.719 --> 00:53:10.920
and I went back to Sunday, which at that time

960
00:53:10.960 --> 00:53:13.519
we can't we couldn't hunt Pennsylvania on Sundays. So I'm like,

961
00:53:13.960 --> 00:53:15.519
I can at least now walk through and I'm not

962
00:53:15.519 --> 00:53:18.440
going to disturb any hunters. And I went back through

963
00:53:18.480 --> 00:53:20.320
there to kind of see which way it would go

964
00:53:20.360 --> 00:53:22.000
through and to see if there was any hair cloth.

965
00:53:22.679 --> 00:53:26.480
But I didn't see anything. I didn't see any hair.

966
00:53:26.519 --> 00:53:27.760
I wanted to try to get hair. That way I

967
00:53:27.760 --> 00:53:29.800
can at least, you know, bring my dad and be

968
00:53:29.840 --> 00:53:30.920
like explain this hair.

969
00:53:32.360 --> 00:53:40.960
Oh yeah, and maybe even get attested to the right people. Yeah.

970
00:53:41.440 --> 00:53:45.920
Were you able to notice any details about the face

971
00:53:46.400 --> 00:53:49.480
or anything when you had that that stared on and

972
00:53:49.519 --> 00:53:52.880
I mean you were looking through the scope with it correct?

973
00:53:53.639 --> 00:53:56.320
Yeah? Oh yeah. The head was I would say, about

974
00:53:56.360 --> 00:53:59.599
two foot tall like that long, and it was big,

975
00:53:59.599 --> 00:54:03.519
and why it had a big cone head. The eyes

976
00:54:03.519 --> 00:54:06.719
were sunken in the note was pressed down a little bit,

977
00:54:07.360 --> 00:54:10.199
and it didn't have a snout. It wasn't growling, it

978
00:54:10.239 --> 00:54:12.159
wasn't snarling, it wasn't showing its seats. It was just

979
00:54:12.239 --> 00:54:15.000
darned And it was almost like when you squint your

980
00:54:15.000 --> 00:54:17.599
eyes trying to make out what you are at a distance,

981
00:54:18.480 --> 00:54:20.440
Like I could see that. I could see the little

982
00:54:20.559 --> 00:54:23.559
because it didn't really have around the eyes, it didn't

983
00:54:23.559 --> 00:54:28.039
have much fur or hair, but everywhere else in the

984
00:54:28.079 --> 00:54:31.760
face it did, and around the teeth a little bit

985
00:54:31.760 --> 00:54:34.199
it was more shorter. But there wasn't any true bald

986
00:54:34.199 --> 00:54:39.199
spots on the animal at all. And again I could

987
00:54:39.280 --> 00:54:41.320
roll this out not being a bear because of how

988
00:54:41.320 --> 00:54:44.840
it picked up the deer, how it walked, like I

989
00:54:44.880 --> 00:54:48.719
just want to make that known too, And there's no

990
00:54:49.159 --> 00:54:52.039
way that I like if this was again a man

991
00:54:52.079 --> 00:54:56.519
in an expensive suit, This was a big old dough.

992
00:54:59.519 --> 00:55:02.400
My dad during the time would have was a weightlifter,

993
00:55:03.360 --> 00:55:05.480
not like anything professional, but he worked out the gym

994
00:55:05.519 --> 00:55:08.119
all the time. He can. He was able to bench press,

995
00:55:08.159 --> 00:55:10.880
you know, two hundred and three hundred pounds, four hundred

996
00:55:10.880 --> 00:55:13.920
pounds at times in his life. This year, like this

997
00:55:14.000 --> 00:55:15.960
size of the year, I've seen him shoot, and it

998
00:55:15.960 --> 00:55:18.199
took him two hands to drag it and like two

999
00:55:18.239 --> 00:55:21.000
hands to lift it, not just effortlessly going down with

1000
00:55:21.000 --> 00:55:22.679
one hander on the neck and just pulling it up.

1001
00:55:23.679 --> 00:55:25.679
Like That's the one big thing that stood out with me.

1002
00:55:26.719 --> 00:55:29.519
I looked during the time, I like, you know, watched

1003
00:55:29.559 --> 00:55:32.360
the whole thing. I didn't even see. I don't know

1004
00:55:32.360 --> 00:55:33.880
if you've ever tried to lift something heavy, you know

1005
00:55:33.880 --> 00:55:35.559
when your muscles pop out and your veins come out

1006
00:55:35.599 --> 00:55:37.760
a little bit, right, I didn't notice any struggle with

1007
00:55:38.000 --> 00:55:41.719
struggle with that at all. It was just kind of

1008
00:55:41.760 --> 00:55:44.559
just like, yep, I do this all the time, picking

1009
00:55:44.639 --> 00:55:46.760
up almost like a grocery bag. Like the mindset was

1010
00:55:46.760 --> 00:55:49.159
picking up a grocerbag as we would do, and they

1011
00:55:49.280 --> 00:55:51.440
say let's go, and now's it. Yeah.

1012
00:55:51.480 --> 00:55:56.159
Absolutely, So there are gonna be at least one guy

1013
00:55:56.239 --> 00:55:58.159
who's probably gonna be like, oh, man, so you had

1014
00:55:58.199 --> 00:56:02.039
your phone right there with you. You know, why why

1015
00:56:02.079 --> 00:56:05.639
didn't you take the photo? But it sounds like you

1016
00:56:05.719 --> 00:56:09.920
were that concerned for your personal safety that you didn't

1017
00:56:09.960 --> 00:56:12.800
even want to risk that. Is that correct?

1018
00:56:13.840 --> 00:56:21.599
Oh, that's correct. About two weeks later though, that's the

1019
00:56:21.639 --> 00:56:24.519
next time I had an experience and I did get

1020
00:56:24.519 --> 00:56:25.280
a picture of it.

1021
00:56:26.679 --> 00:56:29.760
Oh, okay, the.

1022
00:56:29.719 --> 00:56:33.079
Next one, I'll be quick because with everything going on,

1023
00:56:33.159 --> 00:56:34.519
that's this is the ones I want to kind of

1024
00:56:34.519 --> 00:56:37.760
focus on a little bit more. I'm sorry for going

1025
00:56:37.800 --> 00:56:41.280
through all this time with this. I have a lot

1026
00:56:41.400 --> 00:56:46.760
to a lot to say. But the big thing was,

1027
00:56:46.800 --> 00:56:51.119
like the next one was we were doing the gear drive. Actually,

1028
00:56:51.159 --> 00:56:52.840
now that i'm thinking about it, it was a week exactly

1029
00:56:52.840 --> 00:56:56.360
a week because Saturday's last day for deer hunting and

1030
00:56:56.440 --> 00:57:00.880
we were doing a gear drive and I limited out

1031
00:57:01.000 --> 00:57:06.719
that year on my tags except Buck, and I decided

1032
00:57:06.760 --> 00:57:09.119
I'm just going to be the pusher, so I didn't

1033
00:57:09.400 --> 00:57:12.280
take my gun with me. I just kind of walked

1034
00:57:12.280 --> 00:57:15.280
through the woods by myself because I just didn't We

1035
00:57:15.320 --> 00:57:18.559
had probably about ten guys walking through the property and

1036
00:57:18.599 --> 00:57:22.239
all the joining properties from all the neighbors. So last

1037
00:57:22.280 --> 00:57:24.480
thing I wanted to do was bring a gun out,

1038
00:57:24.519 --> 00:57:27.480
see something run, not see somebody standing behind and shoot

1039
00:57:27.480 --> 00:57:29.079
and accidentally hit that person, you know what I mean.

1040
00:57:30.239 --> 00:57:35.039
So I saw something get up, I saw something run again.

1041
00:57:35.519 --> 00:57:39.039
Seven and a half eight foot tall. This one is

1042
00:57:39.039 --> 00:57:40.880
a little bit more slender, and this was more of

1043
00:57:40.880 --> 00:57:42.840
a dark brown color, not the reddish one as the

1044
00:57:42.880 --> 00:57:46.320
other one was. And this thing ran through the thicket

1045
00:57:46.400 --> 00:57:48.519
and actually tore through, busting it. And that's the picture

1046
00:57:48.559 --> 00:57:50.440
that I have. You could see the shape of it

1047
00:57:50.519 --> 00:57:53.199
running through. But this is probably about a seventy five

1048
00:57:53.840 --> 00:57:57.039
eighty five yard shot or not shot, but you know,

1049
00:57:57.119 --> 00:58:00.639
photo shot running through a thicket. And at the time,

1050
00:58:00.679 --> 00:58:02.719
I didn't even like there was no life. I didn't

1051
00:58:02.719 --> 00:58:05.039
have an iPhone. I just had an old flip phone

1052
00:58:05.079 --> 00:58:05.519
at the time.

1053
00:58:09.039 --> 00:58:11.960
Is that is that one that you I've seen?

1054
00:58:14.639 --> 00:58:16.239
This was? This would have been one of the ones

1055
00:58:16.239 --> 00:58:18.920
that I've seen previously. Yeah, the one that got my

1056
00:58:19.000 --> 00:58:19.400
dear though.

1057
00:58:19.440 --> 00:58:23.719
This I don't think I've seen this photo, right, No.

1058
00:58:23.599 --> 00:58:24.840
I didn't send you any photo.

1059
00:58:26.079 --> 00:58:28.239
I can't send it to you, though I would be

1060
00:58:28.280 --> 00:58:32.599
extremely interested to see it. It's it does sound really

1061
00:58:32.599 --> 00:58:33.840
really interesting.

1062
00:58:34.920 --> 00:58:40.280
Mm hmm. Like you can see it. I kind of

1063
00:58:40.320 --> 00:58:43.800
what I when I had my old phone, I lost

1064
00:58:44.039 --> 00:58:47.559
the original photo of it, but this one is a

1065
00:58:47.559 --> 00:58:50.159
second photo, like kind of almost like a spring shot.

1066
00:58:50.280 --> 00:58:52.280
But what I did to show people is I made

1067
00:58:52.320 --> 00:58:54.400
a circle around it, and that's what the photo is.

1068
00:58:54.800 --> 00:58:55.960
You can see it in the woods where you can

1069
00:58:55.960 --> 00:58:57.880
see the circle there still there's a draw a circle

1070
00:58:57.920 --> 00:59:00.199
around it that way, you can see it nowhere where

1071
00:59:00.199 --> 00:59:04.639
it's at sure, but I'll send that over to you

1072
00:59:04.679 --> 00:59:05.440
after this is over.

1073
00:59:05.639 --> 00:59:06.320
Okay, thank you.

1074
00:59:06.840 --> 00:59:11.519
But yeah, yeah, I mean I can tell you a

1075
00:59:11.559 --> 00:59:14.920
couple more quick the ones that just happened, and just

1076
00:59:15.000 --> 00:59:19.599
kind of jump because there's nothing that's been huge since then.

1077
00:59:21.280 --> 00:59:25.119
I've had people. I've had a member of the BFRO

1078
00:59:25.320 --> 00:59:31.039
come over and investigate. Oh really, and I don't I

1079
00:59:31.039 --> 00:59:32.400
don't know if he wants me to say his name,

1080
00:59:32.440 --> 00:59:35.679
so I'm not going to say it. But he came through. Yeah,

1081
00:59:35.679 --> 00:59:39.280
we heard something walking we were up at the reservoir.

1082
00:59:39.679 --> 00:59:42.039
Meet him. He had two people with him as well.

1083
00:59:42.159 --> 00:59:44.559
We heard something he's like that's bipedal walking around us

1084
00:59:44.559 --> 00:59:50.000
and circling us now was in the November twenty seventeen

1085
00:59:50.039 --> 00:59:55.480
is when he was around here. I've also had somebody

1086
00:59:55.599 --> 00:59:58.960
through a good friend of mine that is an investigator

1087
00:59:59.440 --> 01:00:02.920
and he goes through the Pennsylvania big Foot project. I

1088
01:00:02.960 --> 01:00:05.039
don't know if you've heard of that on Facebook.

1089
01:00:04.960 --> 01:00:06.719
With Eric Altman. Those guys.

1090
01:00:08.840 --> 01:00:09.519
Mary Fabian.

1091
01:00:09.920 --> 01:00:13.079
Yeah, oh sorry, sorry, Yeah, you're right, yep, yep, Mary Fabian, Yeah,

1092
01:00:13.119 --> 01:00:14.400
good one. Yeah, she's great.

1093
01:00:15.039 --> 01:00:17.639
Yeah, I've talked to Mary quite a few times. I

1094
01:00:17.679 --> 01:00:18.119
love Mary.

1095
01:00:18.119 --> 01:00:20.360
She's nice, she's really good.

1096
01:00:21.800 --> 01:00:24.679
So she sent one of her guys out with me

1097
01:00:25.079 --> 01:00:30.760
and he I saw maybe two from a distance at

1098
01:00:30.800 --> 01:00:34.360
the one time walking through, he said he saw maybe more.

1099
01:00:35.559 --> 01:00:38.000
I'm walking When we were up again at the bottom

1100
01:00:38.039 --> 01:00:40.320
of the hill where the reservoirs of the mountain, he

1101
01:00:40.360 --> 01:00:44.360
said he could see them like peeking around, like fallen brush.

1102
01:00:44.480 --> 01:00:48.039
The reason why this was an interesting time though, was

1103
01:00:48.639 --> 01:00:50.760
this is the one time that our house actually got

1104
01:00:51.480 --> 01:00:56.039
attacked real and that's why he was here. So my

1105
01:00:56.079 --> 01:01:00.960
brother in law, sorry that I didn't mean to cut

1106
01:01:00.960 --> 01:01:01.199
you off.

1107
01:01:01.239 --> 01:01:03.679
No, you're good. I just I wasn't expecting that. Go

1108
01:01:03.800 --> 01:01:04.280
right ahead.

1109
01:01:04.400 --> 01:01:09.199
Yeah, So my brother in law was dear hunting here.

1110
01:01:10.000 --> 01:01:12.480
I missed in my life about four years from twenty

1111
01:01:12.480 --> 01:01:16.639
twenty one to twenty twenty four, so twenty one, twenty two,

1112
01:01:16.679 --> 01:01:20.719
twenty three, twenty four and did not deer hunt because

1113
01:01:21.320 --> 01:01:23.960
I had a shoulder issue. I'm right handed, my right

1114
01:01:23.960 --> 01:01:26.920
shoulder I had nerve damage, so I couldn't shoot a gun.

1115
01:01:27.159 --> 01:01:29.159
There's no way I can do anything. I would go

1116
01:01:29.199 --> 01:01:30.760
out and do a drive for my dad and my

1117
01:01:30.800 --> 01:01:32.960
brother in law, but that's as far as I would do.

1118
01:01:33.880 --> 01:01:35.400
So my brother in law was in a tree stand

1119
01:01:35.440 --> 01:01:38.559
and I couldn't. I don't do tights, so I wasn't

1120
01:01:38.599 --> 01:01:39.800
in the tree stand with him. But I was in

1121
01:01:39.840 --> 01:01:43.320
my house and he was texting me that he goes,

1122
01:01:44.719 --> 01:01:47.280
you would never believe what I'm what's staring at me

1123
01:01:47.440 --> 01:01:51.320
right now? And he goes, it's a distance. He tried

1124
01:01:51.320 --> 01:01:55.079
getting a photo but it was a blob squatch you

1125
01:01:55.079 --> 01:01:58.000
could just see like a stuff in it. So he's like,

1126
01:01:58.119 --> 01:02:00.679
he I don't even know if he has the phone anymore,

1127
01:02:01.719 --> 01:02:04.559
but he said, the things staring at me and he's like,

1128
01:02:04.599 --> 01:02:07.400
I'm watching it right now and it's just staring me down.

1129
01:02:07.440 --> 01:02:09.920
I'm in a tree stand and he's like, I don't

1130
01:02:09.920 --> 01:02:11.320
know what to do. I'm like, I just leave it,

1131
01:02:11.360 --> 01:02:14.559
go just watch it. He said he got at one

1132
01:02:14.599 --> 01:02:16.519
point where he turned it around because he heard something

1133
01:02:16.559 --> 01:02:19.320
behind and he said the one that he saw was

1134
01:02:19.320 --> 01:02:21.039
probably about eight to eight and a half the nine

1135
01:02:21.079 --> 01:02:24.039
foot tall, and he would guess probably one thousand pounds

1136
01:02:24.079 --> 01:02:28.719
is what he've said it weighed. He saw another one

1137
01:02:29.159 --> 01:02:31.840
close to it. He saw four in this one sighting,

1138
01:02:35.880 --> 01:02:37.800
but the one that was close to it, he thought

1139
01:02:37.840 --> 01:02:40.679
it was almost like a father a mother. And then

1140
01:02:40.719 --> 01:02:42.480
he saw way up at the top of the property,

1141
01:02:42.920 --> 01:02:45.079
two young ones, maybe about four foot tall, he said,

1142
01:02:45.079 --> 01:02:49.400
at the biggest. And he's like, I didn't know at first.

1143
01:02:49.519 --> 01:02:52.320
He goes, those were cubs running through, but he said

1144
01:02:52.320 --> 01:02:55.800
they were running and chasing squirrels way up in the

1145
01:02:55.800 --> 01:02:57.960
back of the property and he and what he did

1146
01:02:58.039 --> 01:03:00.840
was he pulled his gun on them. He goes, I did.

1147
01:03:00.960 --> 01:03:03.000
He goes, the first thing I did was unload my

1148
01:03:03.039 --> 01:03:06.480
gun because he's like, I didn't want to accidentally pull

1149
01:03:06.519 --> 01:03:09.159
the trick, like pull the trigger with it being loaded

1150
01:03:10.199 --> 01:03:12.679
and shoot something, you know what I mean. So he's like,

1151
01:03:12.760 --> 01:03:15.000
I are. He's like, I don't know what to expect

1152
01:03:15.000 --> 01:03:16.440
what this was. So he's like, I have a high

1153
01:03:16.440 --> 01:03:18.360
powered scope. He was like, pulled my gun and he

1154
01:03:18.360 --> 01:03:19.920
goes and I can see him running and they're leaning

1155
01:03:20.119 --> 01:03:21.760
up a little bit and they're trying to chase squirrels

1156
01:03:21.760 --> 01:03:24.559
and like almost catch squirrels as the squirrels are running.

1157
01:03:24.960 --> 01:03:26.440
And he said in the second that he did and

1158
01:03:26.519 --> 01:03:28.719
actually caught. Like he's like, I only had it up

1159
01:03:28.760 --> 01:03:30.920
for maybe about five seconds and the bottom of the

1160
01:03:30.920 --> 01:03:33.760
tree stand got smacked with the rock, and then another

1161
01:03:33.880 --> 01:03:35.280
rock came in. He goes, and I missed my head

1162
01:03:35.280 --> 01:03:38.320
by like eight nine inches, and he said it as

1163
01:03:38.360 --> 01:03:40.440
soon as he looked up, they were all running away

1164
01:03:40.760 --> 01:03:42.840
and running up to the house and they grabbed and

1165
01:03:42.880 --> 01:03:45.960
like almost ran past my house, ran up where the

1166
01:03:46.000 --> 01:03:47.599
young ones were, and they all took off ronting up

1167
01:03:47.599 --> 01:03:49.880
the mountain. He's like, it wasn't like a it was

1168
01:03:49.920 --> 01:03:51.719
like a full sprint, like let's get out of here.

1169
01:03:55.480 --> 01:03:55.840
Okay.

1170
01:03:55.880 --> 01:03:59.920
So that was the most interesting one I've ever heard.

1171
01:04:00.239 --> 01:04:03.920
That's that's really wild. So you're I mean that to me,

1172
01:04:04.039 --> 01:04:08.960
it sounds like they were watching him watch these little ones,

1173
01:04:09.039 --> 01:04:10.760
and then when they thought he was going to take

1174
01:04:10.800 --> 01:04:14.639
a shot or something, they're like, Okay, we gotta let's

1175
01:04:14.679 --> 01:04:16.679
warn him or try to take him out. Like that's

1176
01:04:17.320 --> 01:04:18.320
that's wild, dude.

1177
01:04:20.039 --> 01:04:21.559
Yeah, And I said, how big was the rock? Do

1178
01:04:21.559 --> 01:04:23.679
you have the rock? He brought the rock down and

1179
01:04:23.719 --> 01:04:26.440
the rock was bigger than a softball. He's like that

1180
01:04:26.480 --> 01:04:29.039
thing had power. He's like he tried throwing it and

1181
01:04:29.119 --> 01:04:31.400
he's a strong guy, and he's like, I he couldn't.

1182
01:04:31.440 --> 01:04:32.880
He's like, I couldn't get as fast on the size

1183
01:04:32.880 --> 01:04:35.880
as this thing could for that distance. He's like, that's

1184
01:04:35.880 --> 01:04:40.159
how much power. But the interesting thing that night is

1185
01:04:40.159 --> 01:04:44.920
where we got attacked. He came, he called me. I

1186
01:04:44.960 --> 01:04:47.440
went down. I walked down to him and we were

1187
01:04:47.480 --> 01:04:51.239
walking up and he's like, again, that same feeling has

1188
01:04:51.239 --> 01:04:53.519
SA in the beginning about the anxiety. We both felt

1189
01:04:53.519 --> 01:04:58.280
that we both felt we were being watched. I walked

1190
01:04:58.280 --> 01:05:00.760
in my house, he walked in. We had dinner. He

1191
01:05:00.800 --> 01:05:05.440
went home. Around eleven thirty at night, we heard a

1192
01:05:05.519 --> 01:05:08.920
crash into the house and our siding is T one

1193
01:05:09.000 --> 01:05:14.039
eleven wood siding. I went outside the whole house shock,

1194
01:05:14.079 --> 01:05:20.000
and we heard it about nine foot up, maybe about

1195
01:05:20.000 --> 01:05:21.840
eight foot up. We can see an indent into the

1196
01:05:21.880 --> 01:05:24.199
wood siding where it looks like somebody went with a

1197
01:05:24.239 --> 01:05:26.039
batting ram and just smashed the side of it and

1198
01:05:26.079 --> 01:05:29.320
pushed it and cracked the wood and there was footprints

1199
01:05:29.360 --> 01:05:32.639
right underneath it. So this thing ran charged and smashed

1200
01:05:32.639 --> 01:05:36.719
itself into the house in the side. It woke everybody

1201
01:05:36.760 --> 01:05:39.000
up in the house. Dogs were going nuts everything. It

1202
01:05:39.039 --> 01:05:40.639
was almost like it sounded like an explosion.

1203
01:05:44.760 --> 01:05:51.559
What year was his? This was twenty two, okay, And

1204
01:05:51.599 --> 01:05:52.639
do you have pictures of that?

1205
01:05:55.039 --> 01:05:57.719
I have pictures of the of the T one eleven.

1206
01:05:58.039 --> 01:06:05.760
Yeah, broken, wow, Oh my goodness, says so who that man?

1207
01:06:05.800 --> 01:06:09.239
How did that affect things? That's that's like, that's some

1208
01:06:09.320 --> 01:06:10.719
serious lines that were crossed.

1209
01:06:12.760 --> 01:06:16.719
Oh yeah, he's been back here hunting before. Since then,

1210
01:06:17.360 --> 01:06:19.880
he said he saw them at a distance, just walking

1211
01:06:19.960 --> 01:06:23.719
through slowly. He's like, I knew it was them because

1212
01:06:23.719 --> 01:06:25.280
he says, you'll only see him for a second. But

1213
01:06:25.320 --> 01:06:27.079
he's like, they weren't walking like a deer, they weren't

1214
01:06:27.079 --> 01:06:29.079
walking like a bear. He was too big to be

1215
01:06:29.119 --> 01:06:31.559
a person. And I'm like, did you click on it?

1216
01:06:31.559 --> 01:06:33.440
He's like not at all. I refuse to do that again.

1217
01:06:33.519 --> 01:06:35.960
He's like, because he goes, I think the next one,

1218
01:06:36.039 --> 01:06:37.599
next rock will be at my head and kill me.

1219
01:06:37.840 --> 01:06:39.800
And he's got too young. And now he has two

1220
01:06:39.880 --> 01:06:44.719
young kids too, my niece and nephew, Like they're the

1221
01:06:44.760 --> 01:06:48.199
oldest one. Attitude is two years old. So he's even

1222
01:06:48.239 --> 01:06:50.800
more cautious now, Like he hunted here two days at

1223
01:06:50.800 --> 01:06:53.480
my property this past year and he's like, now he's

1224
01:06:53.599 --> 01:06:55.960
very I'm not doing any of the things. So he

1225
01:06:56.000 --> 01:07:00.960
has a family, man.

1226
01:07:04.320 --> 01:07:06.480
How have things been since that time.

1227
01:07:09.239 --> 01:07:13.480
Oh, it's it's been. It's honestly been. We've never been

1228
01:07:13.480 --> 01:07:18.159
attacked like that since then. That was the only time

1229
01:07:18.639 --> 01:07:24.480
there was actually pure aggression like that at the house. Okay, yeah,

1230
01:07:24.599 --> 01:07:31.519
it's now. I had one of my closest friends was

1231
01:07:31.519 --> 01:07:36.159
with me again. We were going, I don't like coyotes.

1232
01:07:36.679 --> 01:07:39.079
I like them, but I hate them because they're killing everything.

1233
01:07:39.119 --> 01:07:41.960
I'm finding so many dead deer ripped apart because of

1234
01:07:42.000 --> 01:07:43.960
these coyotes going through the woods. I know they're coyotes

1235
01:07:44.000 --> 01:07:48.039
killing these deer and just leaving them and stuff. So

1236
01:07:48.039 --> 01:07:50.920
we went out deer hunting. This is maybe a month ago,

1237
01:07:50.960 --> 01:07:52.239
a month and a half ago, we went out for

1238
01:07:52.280 --> 01:07:57.320
the coyotes at night and as I'm outside, I'm walking

1239
01:07:57.400 --> 01:08:00.159
up through. He's standing over on the one side where

1240
01:08:00.159 --> 01:08:05.960
I'm trying to push the coyotes through, and he starts

1241
01:08:05.960 --> 01:08:10.679
hearing something walking through. He calls me up. He's like,

1242
01:08:10.960 --> 01:08:12.880
something's walking up to you and it's big. He goes,

1243
01:08:12.920 --> 01:08:15.960
I couldn't see it. I'm like, okay. I'm like, well,

1244
01:08:16.000 --> 01:08:18.520
you know what I'm always saying it is. He's like, yeah, right,

1245
01:08:18.560 --> 01:08:21.560
it's not going to be that at all. And I

1246
01:08:21.640 --> 01:08:24.600
walk around and he like, Dave, come up to me.

1247
01:08:24.960 --> 01:08:27.399
He goes, okay, I'm like, just walk up to me.

1248
01:08:27.479 --> 01:08:30.720
I'm like, don't shoot at anything, because I'm going to

1249
01:08:30.760 --> 01:08:32.760
just be without my light on. So I'm like, I

1250
01:08:32.800 --> 01:08:34.720
don't want you hitting me. I don't want you hitting anything.

1251
01:08:35.560 --> 01:08:38.199
In Pennsylvania, it's open arm like, as long as it's

1252
01:08:38.199 --> 01:08:40.960
not dear season, you can legally hunt for coyotes anytime

1253
01:08:41.000 --> 01:08:43.840
in the day. So we had red lights, we had

1254
01:08:43.880 --> 01:08:45.720
everything on us. That way we can make sure it's

1255
01:08:45.720 --> 01:08:47.920
a good shot. We don't want to injure anybody. We

1256
01:08:47.920 --> 01:08:49.319
don't want to injure anything. We don't want to shoot

1257
01:08:49.319 --> 01:08:54.319
a house that's when he saw the first one for him,

1258
01:08:55.039 --> 01:08:58.680
and before he heard it, what actually scared the crap

1259
01:08:58.720 --> 01:09:00.960
out of him was about thirty yards behind him was

1260
01:09:01.000 --> 01:09:03.520
the loudest woodennock. He said, it sounded like a baseball

1261
01:09:03.520 --> 01:09:05.960
bat being smashed a Crinton's the tree, and when he

1262
01:09:06.039 --> 01:09:08.199
turned around, there was standing to staring at him.

1263
01:09:09.159 --> 01:09:14.720
It's like listening listening to these accounts, I'm forgetting that

1264
01:09:15.560 --> 01:09:20.119
it almost feels this is some really active this is

1265
01:09:20.159 --> 01:09:23.159
a really active area for the East coast. U. Yes,

1266
01:09:23.359 --> 01:09:25.399
I need to talk to more people from the East Coast,

1267
01:09:25.439 --> 01:09:29.039
but I mean, I'm just like t having to continually

1268
01:09:29.119 --> 01:09:32.279
tell myself that this is not Oregon like or Washington like.

1269
01:09:32.359 --> 01:09:36.119
This is Pennsylvania, which is crazy, dude.

1270
01:09:37.720 --> 01:09:41.000
So just for my so that was that one. I

1271
01:09:41.039 --> 01:09:44.399
saw it too running past because he's like he started

1272
01:09:44.399 --> 01:09:47.680
getting real loud and frantic, and the thing just ran past.

1273
01:09:47.840 --> 01:09:52.199
I saw that. Last experience we had was Sunday this Sunday,

1274
01:09:53.600 --> 01:09:59.119
this past Sunday. I had a small campfire at my house. Bonfire.

1275
01:09:59.560 --> 01:10:02.159
But when I big woodpit and the burning pit here,

1276
01:10:02.640 --> 01:10:05.520
everybody was over. We can hear the coyotes going. And

1277
01:10:05.560 --> 01:10:08.239
I said to my one friend and my other friend Dave.

1278
01:10:08.279 --> 01:10:10.439
I said, let's go over to the woodline and see

1279
01:10:10.439 --> 01:10:12.479
if we can hear anything. He goes, okay, and we

1280
01:10:12.520 --> 01:10:17.279
walked over and we can hear something. By pedal walking

1281
01:10:17.359 --> 01:10:22.199
up the woodline, my friend and we can hear it.

1282
01:10:22.239 --> 01:10:24.960
We listened to probably about three four minutes, and then

1283
01:10:25.199 --> 01:10:29.079
the footsteps get softer softer. My friend stopped. He picked

1284
01:10:29.119 --> 01:10:31.439
up a stick and he goes, I want to do

1285
01:10:31.479 --> 01:10:33.239
a woodknock. He goes, I always see that, and let's

1286
01:10:33.239 --> 01:10:35.600
see what happens. So we did a wood knock about

1287
01:10:35.600 --> 01:10:38.239
ten seconds. Fifteen seconds later we got at one back.

1288
01:10:39.239 --> 01:10:44.319
My goodness, What is your what is your goal with

1289
01:10:44.680 --> 01:10:49.000
being on this property? Because it is obvious from listening

1290
01:10:49.079 --> 01:10:52.800
that I mean you are definitely there's more than one

1291
01:10:52.800 --> 01:10:57.159
in this area. There's probably a family unit. What is

1292
01:10:57.199 --> 01:10:58.720
your long term goal with all this?

1293
01:11:00.680 --> 01:11:03.600
So the property for like for me having the property. Honestly,

1294
01:11:03.640 --> 01:11:06.760
this has been in the family for since nineteen from

1295
01:11:06.760 --> 01:11:10.399
the nineteen seventies. My grandparents bought it. My dad was

1296
01:11:10.479 --> 01:11:12.920
raised here and my dad moved out. I'm in the process,

1297
01:11:12.920 --> 01:11:15.159
like I was saying, I'm trying to buy the house

1298
01:11:15.199 --> 01:11:18.199
and everything like working it's kind of as my house.

1299
01:11:19.039 --> 01:11:21.079
I don't want to get rid of this property. One

1300
01:11:21.399 --> 01:11:26.239
because I don't want neighbors. I like to be isolated. Two,

1301
01:11:26.520 --> 01:11:28.560
I want to be able to do what I want. Three.

1302
01:11:28.840 --> 01:11:31.479
I love having these experiences and documents. I just want

1303
01:11:31.520 --> 01:11:35.239
them my main goal with what I'm doing and trying

1304
01:11:35.239 --> 01:11:39.600
to research or finding doing things at night, still coming home,

1305
01:11:40.279 --> 01:11:44.239
looking around, always shining the lights in the woodline to

1306
01:11:44.279 --> 01:11:48.760
see if something standing there. I just want hard proof.

1307
01:11:49.359 --> 01:11:53.239
I want hard physical evidence. That way, the jokes that

1308
01:11:53.279 --> 01:11:55.399
I grew up with with my family making fun of me,

1309
01:11:55.960 --> 01:11:57.800
I can be like, I want the apology.

1310
01:11:59.199 --> 01:12:02.840
Sure, Sure, what do you think it'll take to get

1311
01:12:02.880 --> 01:12:04.399
that hard evidence.

1312
01:12:08.479 --> 01:12:11.760
I don't know. For my family, they would have to

1313
01:12:11.760 --> 01:12:15.880
see it, right. I've invited them numerous times to come

1314
01:12:16.680 --> 01:12:19.560
do these with me, and they just refuse every single time.

1315
01:12:20.399 --> 01:12:23.680
My opinion, because I again, I know how my family operates.

1316
01:12:24.960 --> 01:12:26.920
I have two sisters. The youngest one's probably the more

1317
01:12:26.960 --> 01:12:30.560
open minded one. She's been in Alaska before and she's

1318
01:12:30.640 --> 01:12:34.800
had similar things with weird figures following her in Alaska.

1319
01:12:34.880 --> 01:12:37.119
She said she saw with her husband when they were

1320
01:12:37.119 --> 01:12:40.039
out there. She's a little bit more open minded than

1321
01:12:40.039 --> 01:12:42.159
my other ones, but they would have to be here

1322
01:12:42.199 --> 01:12:43.600
and see it. They don't want to come because they

1323
01:12:43.600 --> 01:12:46.319
don't want to be proved wrong. And that's what it

1324
01:12:46.359 --> 01:12:49.520
comes down to. They refuse to do it because they said,

1325
01:12:49.520 --> 01:12:52.760
there's no point in it if nothing's going to happen. Like, no,

1326
01:12:52.800 --> 01:12:56.039
something's going to happen. Just come along, you see something,

1327
01:12:56.039 --> 01:12:58.359
you're going to start. That's my main goal with them

1328
01:12:58.479 --> 01:13:00.680
is for them to believe this. This is true. I

1329
01:13:00.720 --> 01:13:03.279
told them, I said, our house wasn't by a fast watch,

1330
01:13:03.359 --> 01:13:06.079
but our house got attacked, probably over a little over

1331
01:13:06.119 --> 01:13:10.680
a year ago, maybe almost two years now, somebody broke

1332
01:13:10.720 --> 01:13:12.479
on the property and I found out that they were

1333
01:13:12.560 --> 01:13:16.840
robbing from us, and we had to get the cops involved.

1334
01:13:17.159 --> 01:13:19.319
So the cops came. We had four or five of

1335
01:13:19.319 --> 01:13:21.039
them here, and I was talking to some of the

1336
01:13:21.079 --> 01:13:24.159
young cop like a couple of the younger guys that

1337
01:13:24.239 --> 01:13:26.319
were here because I knew them over the years. We

1338
01:13:26.359 --> 01:13:29.279
all grew up here. And I said to the one,

1339
01:13:30.239 --> 01:13:31.560
aren't you going to go up to the VERI road

1340
01:13:31.560 --> 01:13:34.319
bed and look around see if you can see this

1341
01:13:34.359 --> 01:13:36.640
guy that was down here. And he goes to me,

1342
01:13:36.680 --> 01:13:39.319
he's like, only have a nine millimeter. Well makes it

1343
01:13:39.359 --> 01:13:42.520
thinks I'm going into these woods. He was especially this.

1344
01:13:42.680 --> 01:13:45.880
He goes, I don't. He goes, you don't know how

1345
01:13:45.920 --> 01:13:49.439
many calls we get. That's something busted and knocked the

1346
01:13:49.479 --> 01:13:51.159
wall down on the chicken coop. You don't know how

1347
01:13:51.159 --> 01:13:53.479
many calls we get that. He goes, four hundred pound

1348
01:13:53.520 --> 01:13:56.039
pigs are being picked up and taken out. Or he goes,

1349
01:13:56.039 --> 01:13:58.319
I've already gotten a call about a mile away from

1350
01:13:58.359 --> 01:14:00.600
my house. He was that a cow's head was twisted backwards.

1351
01:14:01.239 --> 01:14:03.560
No way.

1352
01:14:04.640 --> 01:14:08.720
He's like, I don't. He's like, I I refuse to go.

1353
01:14:08.800 --> 01:14:11.319
He goes, I know what it is. I believe it.

1354
01:14:12.000 --> 01:14:14.520
I've seen it. I've had house calls where they said

1355
01:14:14.520 --> 01:14:16.840
something was staring at us through the window. And I

1356
01:14:16.880 --> 01:14:19.479
come and sure enough, there's one. I'm walking around. I

1357
01:14:19.520 --> 01:14:22.239
can see the outline running off, and he goes, my

1358
01:14:22.359 --> 01:14:26.119
nine millimeter. He goes, he'll just get inside the skin

1359
01:14:26.159 --> 01:14:29.920
a little bit. There's no penetration with them. And he's like,

1360
01:14:30.039 --> 01:14:31.840
I just refuse to go up to the he goes.

1361
01:14:32.600 --> 01:14:34.760
He goes, I'll go up to a little bit where

1362
01:14:34.760 --> 01:14:37.079
the light on your back porch goes and He's like,

1363
01:14:37.439 --> 01:14:39.960
but unless I have all the other cops guys coming

1364
01:14:40.000 --> 01:14:41.199
and you coming up with me, he goes, I'm not

1365
01:14:41.199 --> 01:14:43.319
going up there with myself, so you must think I'm

1366
01:14:43.319 --> 01:14:44.119
not to go up there.

1367
01:14:45.800 --> 01:14:51.680
That is absolutely intense to know that. Pretty much the

1368
01:14:52.119 --> 01:14:57.399
law enforcement guys are on board too with what's going on. Yeah,

1369
01:14:57.399 --> 01:14:58.199
they're very aware.

1370
01:14:58.399 --> 01:15:05.680
Oh my goodness, I've talked to them. I've had another

1371
01:15:06.199 --> 01:15:10.039
like I probably have another. I'd say close to ten experiences.

1372
01:15:10.079 --> 01:15:13.560
But I know we're limited today on everything, but I

1373
01:15:13.560 --> 01:15:16.600
would love to talk to you again about more and

1374
01:15:16.760 --> 01:15:17.640
keep you up in the loop.

1375
01:15:17.920 --> 01:15:22.880
Yeah, I would say, let's definitely keep in the loop

1376
01:15:22.920 --> 01:15:26.439
and you'll send Hopefully you can send that photo over.

1377
01:15:26.600 --> 01:15:30.079
Is that one that I could share in the YouTube

1378
01:15:30.119 --> 01:15:32.279
as well? Or is it a kind of a private thing.

1379
01:15:34.640 --> 01:15:36.760
I think you can share it. I can send over

1380
01:15:36.880 --> 01:15:42.239
the T one eleven and the other one. Yeah, one,

1381
01:15:42.560 --> 01:15:46.039
I have a photo of a face. The issue with

1382
01:15:46.119 --> 01:15:49.159
the face was when I took it. This was going

1383
01:15:49.239 --> 01:15:56.119
back in twenty middle of twenty two. My dog was

1384
01:15:56.119 --> 01:15:59.279
young at the time, Poppy yet and when I opened

1385
01:15:59.279 --> 01:16:01.079
it up that something was there and behind the house

1386
01:16:01.279 --> 01:16:04.319
at us. So it's kind of blends in because it

1387
01:16:04.359 --> 01:16:08.479
was caught real quick and its head was turning so

1388
01:16:08.560 --> 01:16:10.399
often that to you too, but you can kind of

1389
01:16:10.399 --> 01:16:12.680
make out where the head was twisted, but it kind

1390
01:16:12.680 --> 01:16:15.479
of just blends in because you know, movement, and it

1391
01:16:15.520 --> 01:16:17.319
was I had a zoom in really far with a

1392
01:16:17.479 --> 01:16:18.079
camera phone.

1393
01:16:18.680 --> 01:16:22.800
Sure, sure, yeah, that makes sense. But yeah, we will

1394
01:16:22.800 --> 01:16:26.359
definitely need to keep in touch on and maybe even

1395
01:16:26.840 --> 01:16:29.600
set something up in the future for you to come

1396
01:16:29.640 --> 01:16:32.000
back on so you're able to. Yeah, I want to

1397
01:16:32.000 --> 01:16:35.439
make sure you're able to share everything that is happening

1398
01:16:35.520 --> 01:16:38.920
out there and really continues to happen since the last time.

1399
01:16:39.880 --> 01:16:42.520
I mean the last thing you have happened was March

1400
01:16:42.560 --> 01:16:45.960
twenty ninth, twenty twenty six, and recording date is March

1401
01:16:46.000 --> 01:16:48.479
thirty first, So that's pretty wild, dude.

1402
01:16:50.239 --> 01:16:54.000
It's gotten to the point that Dave my best like

1403
01:16:54.039 --> 01:16:56.159
he's a close friend of mine, he says to me

1404
01:16:56.199 --> 01:16:58.800
that anytime I come over, I know I want to see.

1405
01:16:58.640 --> 01:17:04.840
Something Wow, my goodness, wild stuff. Yeah, definitely definitely keep

1406
01:17:04.880 --> 01:17:08.119
me in a little bit. Thank you for coming on

1407
01:17:08.119 --> 01:17:10.800
on the show, Sean. I appreciate you taking the time

1408
01:17:11.800 --> 01:17:16.439
and in sharing what you've experienced and you definitely live

1409
01:17:16.479 --> 01:17:19.720
in a special area, and I hope you're able to

1410
01:17:19.720 --> 01:17:23.399
to keep that land in your family. It's a very

1411
01:17:23.439 --> 01:17:24.920
special thing that you guys have it.

1412
01:17:25.199 --> 01:17:29.760
So oh yeah, I have me too. Thank you again

1413
01:17:29.760 --> 01:17:31.319
for having me. Like I said, this is my first

1414
01:17:31.359 --> 01:17:34.600
time ever being on something like this and I appreciate

1415
01:17:34.640 --> 01:17:36.279
it absolutely.

1416
01:17:36.479 --> 01:17:39.119
We will be in touch. Have you ever heard all

1417
01:17:39.159 --> 01:17:43.319
the accounts of bigfoot activity around Oakridge, Oregon? And you

1418
01:17:43.359 --> 01:17:46.079
think to yourself, Man, I would love to get out

1419
01:17:46.079 --> 01:17:49.479
in those woods and experience it for myself. Well, guess

1420
01:17:49.479 --> 01:17:53.800
what this year you can. If this is interesting to you,

1421
01:17:54.520 --> 01:17:58.600
stay tuned because it's pretty cool. Sasquatch Summer Fest is

1422
01:17:58.760 --> 01:18:02.640
coming up July tenth through the eleventh, twenty twenty six.

1423
01:18:03.199 --> 01:18:07.079
It's gonna be even better than the previous year's reason

1424
01:18:07.159 --> 01:18:10.359
number one, I'll be one of the speakers. It's gonna

1425
01:18:10.359 --> 01:18:15.800
be wild. I'll probably I'll say this. There may be

1426
01:18:15.800 --> 01:18:19.840
stuff you haven't heard anywhere else, because let's just say

1427
01:18:19.920 --> 01:18:24.760
sometimes it's well, you just gotta be there. We'll leave

1428
01:18:24.800 --> 01:18:27.680
it that more about looking for Bigfoot in the Oakridge Woods.

1429
01:18:27.720 --> 01:18:32.520
Now check this out. You may know Jason Kenzie from

1430
01:18:32.960 --> 01:18:37.800
his documentary series Searching for Sasquatch. Well, this year, you

sign up for this and yes will also be filmed

1436
01:19:01.720 --> 01:19:04.439
for the next chapter in his documentary series, which is

1437
01:19:04.600 --> 01:19:07.560
Searching for Sasquatch. This is a once in a lifetime deal.

1438
01:19:07.760 --> 01:19:10.800
It's just trust it's going to be a wild, wild experience.

1439
01:19:12.439 --> 01:19:15.920
To get a ticket, head on over to Sasquatch Summerfest

1440
01:19:15.960 --> 01:19:20.560

1441
01:19:21.840 --> 01:19:25.319
like Bigfoot Society podcast in order to get a two

1442
01:19:25.399 --> 01:19:28.319
day pass for the price of a one day pass.

1443
01:19:28.800 --> 01:19:33.439
So thanks to Priscilla for giving me that code so

1444
01:19:33.479 --> 01:19:39.560
that you guys can can get a little a little

1445
01:19:39.600 --> 01:19:42.920
help with the cost there. Appreciate that, Priscilla. I hope

1446
01:19:42.920 --> 01:19:46.199
to see you at the booth in Oakridge this year.

1447
01:19:47.279 --> 01:19:49.560
We can talk about your encounter. Was able to talk

1448
01:19:49.600 --> 01:19:52.319
to so many people last year and the year before.

1449
01:19:53.119 --> 01:19:56.079
It is an incredible time. You're not going to want

1450
01:19:56.079 --> 01:20:00.359
to miss it, and I'll see you there before we

1451
01:20:00.399 --> 01:20:02.880
wrap this episode, I want to say something directly to

1452
01:20:02.960 --> 01:20:06.279
a very specific group of listeners. If you're in the military,

1453
01:20:06.720 --> 01:20:10.079
any branch or forces, and if you've seen something that

1454
01:20:10.119 --> 01:20:12.960
no one can explain, or if you're a National park

1455
01:20:13.079 --> 01:20:16.239
ranger or forestry worker who's been told to stay quiet,

1456
01:20:16.960 --> 01:20:20.119
or if you're a pilot who's seen something strange down

1457
01:20:20.159 --> 01:20:22.720
on the ground, or if you're with the FBI a

1458
01:20:22.760 --> 01:20:26.680
federal agency, or working intelligence and you stumbled upon something

1459
01:20:26.720 --> 01:20:30.359
you're not allowed to talk about. And if you're a firefighter, paramedic,

1460
01:20:30.520 --> 01:20:33.800
or search and rescue responder who's heard screams or found

1461
01:20:33.800 --> 01:20:36.800
tracks that didn't make sense. If you're in the logging

1462
01:20:36.840 --> 01:20:40.680
industry on a remote oil field, or a trucker with

1463
01:20:40.800 --> 01:20:44.640
government contracts and you've had something happen that you've never

1464
01:20:44.680 --> 01:20:48.600
told a soul. And if you're a biologist, a wildlife specialist,

1465
01:20:48.760 --> 01:20:52.159
or a field researcher under contract who has found evidence

1466
01:20:52.279 --> 01:20:55.920
you're not allowed to report. If you're a pastor, a missionary,

1467
01:20:56.039 --> 01:20:59.199
or someone on a spiritual retreat and you saw something

1468
01:20:59.239 --> 01:21:03.640
that shook your face, or if you work in the shadows, CIA, NSA,

1469
01:21:03.960 --> 01:21:07.399
