Something Roared Outside Her Tent in DAR State Forest

In 1993, Beth was completing Greenfield Community College’s Outdoor Leadership Program (OLP) when a required multi-day solo brought her deep into DAR State Forest in Goshen, Massachusetts.

On her final night, footsteps approached her tent. Then came bright lights, deep voices, paralysis, and two massive roars she says vibrated through her teeth, jaw, and entire body. She never saw what was outside. More than 30 years later, she still wants to know what happened.

Then we head into Northern Ontario with an experienced outdoorsman whose encounters include an enormous five-toed footprint, strange tracks crossing deep winter snow, massive calls moving along a remote lake, answering whistles, and something huge charging through the brush.

His experiences continue into Northern California with unexplained knocks in the redwoods and a disturbing encounter among the giant sequoias.

From Western Massachusetts to Northern Ontario and Northern California, Episode 1185 documents firsthand experiences that left these witnesses with questions they still cannot answer.

bring you first hand encounters from people who say they've

4
00:00:08.439 --> 00:00:12.759
seen something impossible. From backwoods trails and remote mountain haulers

5
00:00:12.800 --> 00:00:16.719
to quiet farms and crowded highways. The stories come from everywhere,

6
00:00:16.760 --> 00:00:19.719
and each one leaves us with more questions than answers.

7
00:00:20.719 --> 00:00:21.320
These are the.

00:00:21.320 --> 00:00:24.800
Voices of the people who've lived it. To settle in,

9
00:00:24.879 --> 00:00:28.359
because today you'll hear another account that just might change

10
00:00:28.359 --> 00:00:30.160
the way you see the woods forever.

11
00:00:30.440 --> 00:00:31.239
So stay with us.

12
00:00:31.559 --> 00:00:34.280
Please keep Jeremiah in your prayers as he continues his

13
00:00:34.280 --> 00:00:38.679
fight against cancer. For more updates about his medical journey,

15
00:00:42.560 --> 00:00:43.679
Thank you all.

16
00:00:43.719 --> 00:00:44.560
Ri Pick for Society.

17
00:00:44.560 --> 00:00:48.520
You've got the privilege of talking to experiencer Beth Jenkilson

18
00:00:48.799 --> 00:00:52.719
today from out there in New England. Beth is a

19
00:00:52.759 --> 00:00:57.719
New England native and had a really interesting thing happened

20
00:00:58.520 --> 00:01:03.039
during the nineties. We'll hear about this. And this is

21
00:01:03.200 --> 00:01:06.239
close to the area of Massachusetts that I grew up in.

22
00:01:07.480 --> 00:01:10.599
It's relatively close to Northfield, so it's kind of close

23
00:01:10.719 --> 00:01:13.280
to Franklin County, so I'm pretty familiar with it, but

24
00:01:13.480 --> 00:01:15.519
just not this area. But welcome to the show, Beth.

25
00:01:15.519 --> 00:01:16.239
How are you today?

26
00:01:17.599 --> 00:01:17.959
Thanks?

27
00:01:18.920 --> 00:01:22.959
I'm great, excited and hopefully get to the bottom of

28
00:01:23.280 --> 00:01:24.040
what happened to me.

29
00:01:24.640 --> 00:01:25.200
Absolutely.

30
00:01:25.280 --> 00:01:28.799
I mean it's a thing where I've done this show

31
00:01:28.879 --> 00:01:32.400
for years and I have tried to talk to people

32
00:01:32.959 --> 00:01:37.400
from this area forever. Or I'm like, maybe today is

33
00:01:37.400 --> 00:01:40.040
that the day I'll get an email from this area

34
00:01:40.040 --> 00:01:42.040
and it's like, you don't hear people just don't talk,

35
00:01:42.040 --> 00:01:44.640
And I'm like, I know stuff is going on because

36
00:01:44.640 --> 00:01:46.599
I've heard stuff on the side and I'm like, I

37
00:01:46.680 --> 00:01:48.560
know someone has a story. So when I saw your

38
00:01:48.560 --> 00:01:52.040
email come in from just I mean, this is like

39
00:01:53.879 --> 00:01:58.519
this area is like west of Sunderland and Hatfield and

40
00:01:58.680 --> 00:02:02.359
or by Conway, Goshen and all that. But you know, Beth,

41
00:02:02.920 --> 00:02:05.519
is there anything else that the listeners would would need

42
00:02:05.560 --> 00:02:09.599
to know about you for context before before we have

43
00:02:09.719 --> 00:02:11.240
you get into what happened.

44
00:02:13.840 --> 00:02:15.120
Just context of the story.

45
00:02:15.479 --> 00:02:18.000
Thirty three years ago, I was in an outdoor leadership

46
00:02:18.000 --> 00:02:22.080
program and it was winding up the end of it.

47
00:02:22.120 --> 00:02:23.639
We had to do this one more thing, which was

48
00:02:23.680 --> 00:02:27.680
a solo and that's what brought me to this, this incident,

49
00:02:27.759 --> 00:02:31.000
which I don't I never saw anything, so I can't

50
00:02:31.039 --> 00:02:33.759
say it was bigfoot. It was just some things that

51
00:02:34.039 --> 00:02:37.879
happened that were not like other stories that I've heard,

52
00:02:37.919 --> 00:02:38.639
and some that.

53
00:02:38.719 --> 00:02:43.400
Were absolutely there is I'm going to jump in here

54
00:02:43.439 --> 00:02:47.439
for a little bit. So when I saw in your email,

55
00:02:47.639 --> 00:02:52.840
you were talking about GCC Greenfield Community College and the

56
00:02:53.120 --> 00:02:58.199
outdoor leadership program there, right, Ye, So there's a little

57
00:02:58.199 --> 00:03:01.000
bit that I haven't I haven't told you yet because

58
00:03:01.000 --> 00:03:03.840
sometimes it's just good to talk about it in the interview.

59
00:03:06.159 --> 00:03:11.560
So I'm very familiar with that school. I know GCC well,

60
00:03:11.879 --> 00:03:16.360
it's a fun place. I'm a little bit of my

61
00:03:16.439 --> 00:03:19.639
schooling there. But I remember when I was a young child,

62
00:03:19.800 --> 00:03:24.719
my dad was actually he went through the same program

63
00:03:25.039 --> 00:03:28.479
at GCC. No kidding, Yeah, not kidding at all now.

64
00:03:28.520 --> 00:03:31.560
It would have been so olp now he would have

65
00:03:31.639 --> 00:03:36.960
been there in the eighties. But I remember hearing stories

66
00:03:36.960 --> 00:03:40.800
about Larry Buell, which you probably would know the same

67
00:03:40.919 --> 00:03:42.960
end of like he was in charge of it, is

68
00:03:42.960 --> 00:03:43.400
that right?

69
00:03:45.159 --> 00:03:47.360
He Well, by the time I got there, he was

70
00:03:47.400 --> 00:03:50.800
more on the board and we got to meet him

71
00:03:50.919 --> 00:03:53.680
and his name was all over all of the paperwork,

72
00:03:53.879 --> 00:03:57.280
but he wasn't running it himself at that point.

73
00:03:58.000 --> 00:04:01.080
Gotcha, And you know here my dad talk about it.

74
00:04:01.080 --> 00:04:02.960
Over the years, I'm like, man, there's got to be

75
00:04:03.080 --> 00:04:06.599
stories about people that went out with this this program,

76
00:04:06.680 --> 00:04:08.840
because you would always talk about like the big deal

77
00:04:09.039 --> 00:04:13.759
was like going and having these these like solo events

78
00:04:13.840 --> 00:04:16.639
and like that's how like he got over you know,

79
00:04:16.680 --> 00:04:19.120
he would get over like fear of the woods or

80
00:04:19.160 --> 00:04:20.920
like fear of the dark. And I was like, there's

81
00:04:20.920 --> 00:04:24.439
got to be people that have experienced stuff out there,

82
00:04:24.480 --> 00:04:26.000
and he had this story.

83
00:04:26.240 --> 00:04:31.240
I remember they you know.

84
00:04:31.160 --> 00:04:33.920
It'd be like packing your backpack and the importance of

85
00:04:33.959 --> 00:04:37.279
knowing everything that was in there, and like I think

86
00:04:37.319 --> 00:04:39.279
it was a thing where like they snuck in a

87
00:04:39.319 --> 00:04:42.240
brick at the bottom of the the backpack and it's

88
00:04:42.279 --> 00:04:43.839
like you got to be aware of what's in your

89
00:04:43.879 --> 00:04:46.600
backpack because you know that's a lot of extra wait,

90
00:04:47.079 --> 00:04:49.600
something like that. It's been a we used to go

91
00:04:49.680 --> 00:04:52.040
hiking on the Applation trail. But I digress a little bit.

92
00:04:52.879 --> 00:04:55.439
But so, Beth, when I saw your email come through

93
00:04:55.439 --> 00:04:58.480
and I was like, oh, I knew there was something

94
00:04:58.680 --> 00:04:59.680
with this.

95
00:04:59.279 --> 00:05:04.360
This program that explains, you were so out over the

96
00:05:04.399 --> 00:05:07.319
top excited to hear about it, which was great for me.

97
00:05:07.360 --> 00:05:10.600
It was so valided, but it's something seemed a little

98
00:05:10.639 --> 00:05:11.399
off about it.

99
00:05:11.600 --> 00:05:12.560
And now it makes sense.

100
00:05:12.600 --> 00:05:15.720
Now I have the context of perfect sense exactly.

101
00:05:15.879 --> 00:05:16.680
That is wonderful.

102
00:05:17.040 --> 00:05:21.480
So yeah, so take us take us through what happened

103
00:05:21.519 --> 00:05:25.000
to you during this this solo event, and maybe there

104
00:05:25.079 --> 00:05:28.000
might be even some listeners that are are not aware

105
00:05:28.199 --> 00:05:31.000
of what the area was like or even what a

106
00:05:31.079 --> 00:05:33.000
solo camping event would entail.

107
00:05:34.360 --> 00:05:37.839
The DA R State Forest and Goshen Masses where our

108
00:05:37.920 --> 00:05:42.000
leader chose for us. There were three of us in

109
00:05:42.040 --> 00:05:45.480
this one spot, but we had to separate and spread

110
00:05:45.519 --> 00:05:49.920
way out, so when I checked in with them the

111
00:05:49.959 --> 00:05:51.839
next day, nobody heard anything.

112
00:05:52.879 --> 00:05:56.600
Okay, And how far away from these other individuals were you,

113
00:05:57.959 --> 00:05:58.480
I don't.

114
00:05:58.319 --> 00:06:02.519
Really know, because we all found our spots separately, so

115
00:06:04.720 --> 00:06:09.600
we if we were in earshot, it was barely earshot.

116
00:06:10.560 --> 00:06:15.040
Gotcha, gotcha? So so yeah, let's uh, let's let's get

117
00:06:15.120 --> 00:06:17.839
right into it. You are in by yourself in an

118
00:06:17.839 --> 00:06:21.759
area where how are you how are you feeling being

119
00:06:21.800 --> 00:06:25.079
by yourself? Was it a thing where you were using

120
00:06:25.120 --> 00:06:27.560
it to get over some fears that you had or

121
00:06:27.560 --> 00:06:30.040
were you perfectly comfortable with the woods at that time.

122
00:06:31.759 --> 00:06:32.839
It was a prerequisite.

123
00:06:32.839 --> 00:06:35.279
It was the last skill that we had to master,

124
00:06:35.879 --> 00:06:39.199
uh before we graduated from this program. So this brings

125
00:06:39.279 --> 00:06:42.720
us to May, because graduations in like the first one

126
00:06:42.720 --> 00:06:45.600
of the first week or second week of June. So

127
00:06:46.079 --> 00:06:50.519
it's it's mid May somewhere around there. It's still cold

128
00:06:50.519 --> 00:06:54.360
at night, and I was not really looking forward to this.

129
00:06:54.600 --> 00:06:57.920
I wasn't a huge camper when I went into.

130
00:06:57.759 --> 00:07:01.519
The Outdoor Leadership program, and I certainly they never soloed anywhere.

131
00:07:02.720 --> 00:07:05.360
But we had a choice between either doing a three

132
00:07:05.439 --> 00:07:09.560
day fast and a sweat lodge or do the solo.

133
00:07:09.759 --> 00:07:13.240
And I didn't want to do any fastings, so I did.

134
00:07:13.279 --> 00:07:19.480
I chose the solo along with two other friend cohorts

135
00:07:19.480 --> 00:07:25.480
of mine. So we get driven in and left off

136
00:07:25.639 --> 00:07:29.600
in the dar State Forest parking lot. For some reason,

137
00:07:29.680 --> 00:07:32.519
Kate gives that's the director gives me the walkie talkie,

138
00:07:32.519 --> 00:07:37.120
which is not it's not really connected to anything, so

139
00:07:37.199 --> 00:07:39.279
it sort of gave me a false sense of security.

140
00:07:39.319 --> 00:07:43.480
But I was, you know, I was excited to try

141
00:07:43.519 --> 00:07:46.839
it and to succeed because all the things that I

142
00:07:46.879 --> 00:07:50.399
had accomplished the rest of that year were things that

143
00:07:50.480 --> 00:07:53.519
I absolutely did not think I could accomplish and did.

144
00:07:53.879 --> 00:07:55.079
So I was on some.

145
00:07:56.800 --> 00:08:01.360
Kind of high from what I had just gone through,

146
00:08:01.560 --> 00:08:04.959
like hanging six hundred feet off of a cliff and

147
00:08:05.160 --> 00:08:09.199
belaying somebody up another pitch. You know, you figure you

148
00:08:09.240 --> 00:08:11.600
can do that, you can do just about anything, but

149
00:08:11.800 --> 00:08:16.279
little did I know. So all goes well for the

150
00:08:16.319 --> 00:08:18.839
first three days, and on the last night this is

151
00:08:18.879 --> 00:08:21.639
when it happened. So I'm sitting up in bed. It's

152
00:08:21.639 --> 00:08:25.040
about ten thirty ish. I'm thinking, I'm reading a book.

153
00:08:25.240 --> 00:08:27.120
This is the only part I don't remember is what

154
00:08:27.160 --> 00:08:29.439
that book was. Everything else is.

155
00:08:31.120 --> 00:08:34.879
Burned into my memory. So I'm reading and.

156
00:08:36.519 --> 00:08:40.759
I notice through my tent, and I'm reading by headlamp.

157
00:08:40.759 --> 00:08:43.120
By the way, I noticed through my tent up in

158
00:08:43.159 --> 00:08:45.320
the upper right left hand corner, I can see two

159
00:08:45.320 --> 00:08:49.000
headlights coming in through what must be the dirt road

160
00:08:49.000 --> 00:08:51.120
that we all drove in on. And I'm kind of

161
00:08:51.159 --> 00:08:54.840
surprised because I thought I was way way way off

162
00:08:54.919 --> 00:08:57.960
of the path or you know, anywhere anyone would see me.

163
00:08:58.639 --> 00:09:01.159
So I instantly think, well, if I can see their headlights,

164
00:09:01.200 --> 00:09:03.639
they might be able to see my tent lit up

165
00:09:03.679 --> 00:09:06.759
with my headlamp from above, and that's like a beacon.

166
00:09:06.919 --> 00:09:09.480
So I shut everything off and I just got really quiet,

167
00:09:09.519 --> 00:09:13.519
and you know, I'm feeling pretty confident that this is

168
00:09:13.600 --> 00:09:15.480
just going to be over soon and I'm going to

169
00:09:15.519 --> 00:09:18.759
go back to reading. So it feels like about ten

170
00:09:19.519 --> 00:09:22.759
twenty minutes or so go by, and I'm sitting in

171
00:09:22.759 --> 00:09:26.399
the tent in the pitch black, very few bugs, not

172
00:09:26.480 --> 00:09:28.639
a lot of noise around me. I can kind of

173
00:09:28.679 --> 00:09:32.080
hear everything, and all of a sudden, I start hearing

174
00:09:32.120 --> 00:09:36.679
footsteps from one hundred yards away or so, and I think, Okay,

175
00:09:36.720 --> 00:09:39.399
no big deal. They've scared something and it's walking through

176
00:09:39.399 --> 00:09:42.919
the woods. Only it's coming towards me, and I can

177
00:09:42.960 --> 00:09:47.519
tell that it's bipedal, and I know that you can't

178
00:09:47.519 --> 00:09:51.399
always tell sometimes listening to a horse, which is obviously

179
00:09:51.440 --> 00:09:55.279
four legged, it sounds like two legged. So you know,

180
00:09:56.000 --> 00:10:00.000
being in the dark, alone and vulnerable plays tricks on you.

181
00:10:00.039 --> 00:10:03.759
But the footsteps start coming closer. They're headed right for me,

182
00:10:03.799 --> 00:10:07.279
and I'm kind of freaking out now because not only

183
00:10:07.279 --> 00:10:09.200
am I in bed naked.

184
00:10:09.720 --> 00:10:12.080
Which is how I like to sleep, but also I

185
00:10:12.279 --> 00:10:13.679
have no weapons.

186
00:10:13.799 --> 00:10:17.360
I'm all alone. It's pitch black. They've got a flashlight.

187
00:10:17.399 --> 00:10:20.200
They're headed towards me, and I think to myself, I'm

188
00:10:20.200 --> 00:10:24.159
going to bark like a dog because I can. I

189
00:10:24.200 --> 00:10:27.799
can make a pretty convincing dog sound. So I take

190
00:10:27.840 --> 00:10:30.039
a breath, and I InHand a breath to go make

191
00:10:30.080 --> 00:10:32.519
this dog sound. And I come to find out my

192
00:10:32.600 --> 00:10:36.960
body is completely paralyzed. And this freaks me out because

193
00:10:37.000 --> 00:10:40.039
I don't understand what's going on, and the only thing

194
00:10:40.080 --> 00:10:44.240
I can do is blink, and they're still coming towards me.

195
00:10:44.600 --> 00:10:48.360
I feel like I can hear murmuring and deep male voices,

196
00:10:48.480 --> 00:10:50.720
but I can't make out any words or anything. And

197
00:10:50.799 --> 00:10:53.039
before I know it, they are right up to my

198
00:10:53.200 --> 00:10:54.799
tent and I am freaking out.

199
00:10:55.320 --> 00:10:59.480
And the flashlight or this light source that they had.

200
00:10:59.559 --> 00:11:04.159
They start shining it on the straight edges or the

201
00:11:04.159 --> 00:11:08.480
seams of the tent, and it's illuminating the whole inside

202
00:11:08.480 --> 00:11:10.679
of the tent green because that's the color of the tent.

203
00:11:12.600 --> 00:11:15.440
And I remember looking over with my eyes, I can

204
00:11:15.559 --> 00:11:19.759
read the book that is now beside me, and I

205
00:11:19.799 --> 00:11:21.559
think this is going to be the worst of it,

206
00:11:21.600 --> 00:11:24.879
with my heart banging in my ears, and then comes

207
00:11:25.919 --> 00:11:29.559
a roar. And now when I say a roar, I

208
00:11:29.600 --> 00:11:32.279
am not talking about a screen because that's high pitched,

209
00:11:32.639 --> 00:11:34.440
and I am not talking about a growl.

210
00:11:34.559 --> 00:11:35.759
I know what a growl sounds like.

211
00:11:36.600 --> 00:11:40.039
This was a roar that came from a chest cavity

212
00:11:40.320 --> 00:11:42.279
the size of a Volkswagon bus.

213
00:11:43.039 --> 00:11:45.039
Had I been outside.

214
00:11:47.399 --> 00:11:49.559
In front of this thing, I could imagine my hair

215
00:11:49.679 --> 00:11:52.759
waving back like a cartoon. And the thing that I

216
00:11:52.799 --> 00:11:55.200
remember most was that I could see in the light

217
00:11:55.320 --> 00:12:00.720
of the tent my eyelashes were trembling in rhythm to

218
00:12:00.879 --> 00:12:03.559
this roar, and I could feel it in my teeth

219
00:12:03.600 --> 00:12:07.639
and my jaw and kind of everywhere in my body.

220
00:12:08.559 --> 00:12:11.600
And I do not know what kept my bladder full

221
00:12:11.919 --> 00:12:14.679
and why I didn't evacuate my bowels at that time,

222
00:12:14.720 --> 00:12:20.399
because I've never been so afraid and so clearly vulnerable

223
00:12:20.919 --> 00:12:23.799
in my life. And I'm doing that breathing, you know,

224
00:12:23.840 --> 00:12:26.039
that little teensy breathing in the middle of your chest

225
00:12:26.080 --> 00:12:29.320
where it's not really making sounds, but you're afraid to

226
00:12:29.360 --> 00:12:32.200
make too much of a deep breath because you're terrified

227
00:12:32.240 --> 00:12:32.840
they'll hear it.

228
00:12:33.279 --> 00:12:35.840
And as this is all happening, they start walking to

229
00:12:36.000 --> 00:12:36.679
behind me.

230
00:12:36.799 --> 00:12:40.399
Now it's shining the light again on all the straight edges,

231
00:12:40.440 --> 00:12:43.440
and then I get this other roar now behind me,

232
00:12:44.120 --> 00:12:47.879
and I'm just beyond it, like my brain has gone

233
00:12:47.919 --> 00:12:48.879
completely offline.

234
00:12:48.879 --> 00:12:50.879
It cannot even process what's happening.

235
00:12:51.279 --> 00:12:55.159
As they walk over to my right now and they

236
00:12:55.200 --> 00:12:58.480
shine the light on the long sides of the tent,

237
00:12:59.080 --> 00:13:01.639
and all of a sudden, I don't know where this

238
00:13:01.720 --> 00:13:03.080
came from. It I don't know if it was in

239
00:13:03.120 --> 00:13:06.039
my head. It was definitely not out loud. I don't

240
00:13:06.080 --> 00:13:08.919
know if it came from me or them or what.

241
00:13:09.480 --> 00:13:14.279
But I got this message loud and clear. Run and

242
00:13:14.320 --> 00:13:17.279
I thought I was already up to the most amount

243
00:13:17.440 --> 00:13:19.600
of horror that I could possibly feel, but it got

244
00:13:19.679 --> 00:13:22.720
even higher at that point because there was no way

245
00:13:22.840 --> 00:13:23.679
I could run.

246
00:13:24.159 --> 00:13:26.799
My body would never have held me up. My knees

247
00:13:26.840 --> 00:13:28.840
would have just buckled immediately.

248
00:13:29.039 --> 00:13:32.919
And it doesn't really matter because I was paralyzed anyway.

249
00:13:33.399 --> 00:13:36.960
And so there was like, you're I've been sitting here

250
00:13:37.000 --> 00:13:39.320
and doing it now, I'm my hand slapping my forehead,

251
00:13:39.320 --> 00:13:43.080
which is what would have happened had I not been paralyzed,

252
00:13:43.480 --> 00:13:47.879
and I just kind of went all internal and all

253
00:13:47.960 --> 00:13:52.759
hope faded because I knew at a cellular level that

254
00:13:52.840 --> 00:13:56.559
tonight was my last night on earth, and I just went.

255
00:13:56.960 --> 00:13:59.720
God, please help me, God, Please help me, God, Please

256
00:13:59.759 --> 00:14:01.840
help me. And then I opened my eyes and it

257
00:14:01.919 --> 00:14:05.759
was pitch black. It was I think it was quiet.

258
00:14:05.799 --> 00:14:08.840
All I could hear was a helicopter, which I came

259
00:14:08.919 --> 00:14:12.120
to realize very quickly was the blood rushing in my

260
00:14:12.720 --> 00:14:16.080
ears from my heartbeat, which sounded like the whoa whoah

261
00:14:16.120 --> 00:14:21.039
wa wah walk of a helicopter blades. And I just

262
00:14:21.120 --> 00:14:24.279
sat there and listened. The light was completely gone. There

263
00:14:24.360 --> 00:14:25.960
was no sound, There.

264
00:14:25.879 --> 00:14:28.720
Were no bugs, no breeze, nothing.

265
00:14:28.840 --> 00:14:33.279
And I was not on my back, which is how

266
00:14:33.320 --> 00:14:36.840
I remembered starting. I was now perched on an elbow

267
00:14:37.600 --> 00:14:42.679
ralf on my stomach with one arm like support, my

268
00:14:42.759 --> 00:14:45.440
left arm supporting me. I don't know, I just I

269
00:14:45.480 --> 00:14:49.960
actually stayed in that position all night. After about ten minutes,

270
00:14:50.000 --> 00:14:53.399
when I realized that I was now alone, I started

271
00:14:53.399 --> 00:14:58.840
crying kind of hysterically, but trying still to make no

272
00:14:58.840 --> 00:15:00.320
noise because I didn't know if.

273
00:15:00.080 --> 00:15:02.720
They were there and if they were coming back. And

274
00:15:03.200 --> 00:15:08.600
I stayed awake and so vigilant. It was not funny.

275
00:15:08.639 --> 00:15:11.919
I think I strained my ears, and I remember seeing

276
00:15:11.960 --> 00:15:16.039
the light come up on the horizon, and I must

277
00:15:16.039 --> 00:15:18.440
have fallen asleep, because the next thing I knew.

278
00:15:18.639 --> 00:15:22.799
The walkie talkie was crackling and it was Kate on Milwaukee.

279
00:15:22.879 --> 00:15:26.639
And she said good morning, and I got on the

280
00:15:26.679 --> 00:15:28.480
walkie talking and the first thing I said.

281
00:15:28.360 --> 00:15:29.759
Was kays of me.

282
00:15:31.240 --> 00:15:34.879
Happened to a way, and I told her the story

283
00:15:35.960 --> 00:15:39.759
when we met. You remember collapsing in her arms and

284
00:15:39.799 --> 00:15:43.639
crying and crying and still shaking quite a bit. I

285
00:15:43.639 --> 00:15:45.799
think I shook for about three days, and it took

286
00:15:45.879 --> 00:15:47.440
me about three weeks to.

287
00:15:49.480 --> 00:15:51.559
I got it right now too. It's so funny. I'm

288
00:15:51.600 --> 00:15:52.240
so back there.

289
00:15:53.159 --> 00:15:55.639
You know, you could just feel the adrenaline cortisol just

290
00:15:56.279 --> 00:15:59.720
surging through your veins from all of that.

291
00:16:00.080 --> 00:16:06.360
And that's my story. That's what happened. And Kate.

292
00:16:07.720 --> 00:16:11.960
Kate thought it was a nightmare, night terror. She said,

293
00:16:12.000 --> 00:16:15.679
it's very common for women on solos to have it

294
00:16:15.759 --> 00:16:20.360
because we are so vulnerable. And I've had night terrors before.

295
00:16:20.440 --> 00:16:23.039
But ten minutes and you're like, oh, okay, I know

296
00:16:23.120 --> 00:16:25.039
that was a night terror, and you go back to sleep,

297
00:16:25.440 --> 00:16:26.639
and that's not what this was.

298
00:16:27.440 --> 00:16:34.919
This was something so visceral and real and assaulted.

299
00:16:35.039 --> 00:16:38.679
I felt assaulted for about three weeks, right, I had

300
00:16:38.759 --> 00:16:41.279
nightmares and.

301
00:16:42.039 --> 00:16:44.200
I am so sorry you had to go through.

302
00:16:44.240 --> 00:16:48.879
I man, this this that's really really intense. Was there

303
00:16:48.919 --> 00:16:52.320
anything outside? Did you notice anything outside your tent? The

304
00:16:52.360 --> 00:16:54.960
next morning I did look.

305
00:16:55.519 --> 00:16:57.200
The tent was, you know, untouched.

306
00:16:57.799 --> 00:17:00.000
I was on some hard packed surface, it turned out,

307
00:17:00.000 --> 00:17:02.759
but it was an old I think it might have

308
00:17:02.759 --> 00:17:06.079
been either a railroad trestle that had collapsed or a

309
00:17:06.119 --> 00:17:10.440
bridge abutment or something. So it was kind it was

310
00:17:10.559 --> 00:17:14.359
really hard packed, like yeah, I can't even think of

311
00:17:14.400 --> 00:17:18.079
the word right now. But they didn't leave any tracks.

312
00:17:18.400 --> 00:17:23.319
There were no broken branches. I looked down the direction

313
00:17:23.400 --> 00:17:24.759
that I heard them coming in.

314
00:17:26.920 --> 00:17:28.559
There wasn't a trail or anything.

315
00:17:29.519 --> 00:17:37.880
So that I've been in that situation, a similar situation

316
00:17:38.200 --> 00:17:40.599
in Iowa, and I'm just going to share real quick,

317
00:17:40.720 --> 00:17:43.319
just because maybe some listeners haven't heard it. I've been

318
00:17:43.359 --> 00:17:46.559
in a solo camping out in the middle of woods

319
00:17:46.559 --> 00:17:50.160
in Iowa for a few nights. The second night, something

320
00:17:50.200 --> 00:17:53.079
was walking around my tent. At three am. The next morning,

321
00:17:53.119 --> 00:17:54.680
I got out of the tent and there was a

322
00:17:54.960 --> 00:17:57.799
plastic fork on the picnic table with a squirrel tail

323
00:17:57.880 --> 00:17:59.599
through the times of it, and I.

324
00:17:59.519 --> 00:18:04.720
Was like, I freaked out. So, man, I got questions.

325
00:18:04.799 --> 00:18:05.720
I got questions for you.

326
00:18:05.799 --> 00:18:09.480
This is I can't imagine living through what you lived

327
00:18:09.480 --> 00:18:14.119
through in that type of situation because you're also I

328
00:18:14.160 --> 00:18:17.680
would imagine amped up, because like, this is the last goal,

329
00:18:17.920 --> 00:18:20.880
this is the last hurdle before you get through this program,

330
00:18:20.960 --> 00:18:24.880
which is a super intense program. Were you still able

331
00:18:24.920 --> 00:18:26.359
to graduate the program?

332
00:18:27.079 --> 00:18:27.240
Oh?

333
00:18:27.279 --> 00:18:30.559
I did graduate, Yes, okay, absolutely, and I worked in

334
00:18:30.599 --> 00:18:34.200
the field for the next thirty years.

335
00:18:34.359 --> 00:18:35.079
Oh good for you.

336
00:18:35.559 --> 00:18:38.319
Oh man, Yeah, I never saw a camped again.

337
00:18:38.359 --> 00:18:38.559
Though.

338
00:18:39.160 --> 00:18:41.480
I was going to ask, how did this affect your

339
00:18:42.359 --> 00:18:44.880
that you being able to be in the woods? And

340
00:18:44.920 --> 00:18:46.759
I know it affects it can affect a lot of

341
00:18:46.799 --> 00:18:48.480
people livings to do something like that.

342
00:18:48.519 --> 00:18:53.240
Well, it definitely had a huge impact on me. I've

343
00:18:53.279 --> 00:18:55.119
always said there's only two things in the world that

344
00:18:55.160 --> 00:18:58.000
I'm afraid of, and one is ground wasps and the

345
00:18:58.039 --> 00:19:02.920
other is men. And because I don't know what this

346
00:19:02.960 --> 00:19:06.640
thing was, I thought even maybe they were playing a

347
00:19:06.680 --> 00:19:09.440
prank on us and every they did it to everybody,

348
00:19:10.200 --> 00:19:15.480
But nothing could duplicate that roar, and it didn't come

349
00:19:15.480 --> 00:19:18.920
from a megaphone, although it was that loud, but you'd

350
00:19:18.920 --> 00:19:24.240
hear clicks and you'd hear the mechanical component of a megaphone.

351
00:19:24.799 --> 00:19:30.119
There's just no hiding that. So now I have like

352
00:19:30.200 --> 00:19:33.640
one more thing to be afraid. Actually, you know what,

353
00:19:33.680 --> 00:19:35.960
I'm going to take it back because and somebody had

354
00:19:36.000 --> 00:19:38.920
to point this out to me. When I pray to God,

355
00:19:39.000 --> 00:19:44.240
and I am not a religious person at all, in

356
00:19:44.319 --> 00:19:47.400
some way it saved me, right, I prayed to God

357
00:19:47.440 --> 00:19:51.079
and then everything went away. And if it was Bigfoot,

358
00:19:51.240 --> 00:19:55.359
it didn't do anything more than intimidate me, although on

359
00:19:55.400 --> 00:20:02.559
an incredibly intense level. And when I watch your show

360
00:20:02.799 --> 00:20:06.319
and all the other shows, very rarely do they actually

361
00:20:06.400 --> 00:20:13.519
ever attack anybody, So it didn't really add any component

362
00:20:13.599 --> 00:20:19.000
of fear to the whole. It just, you know, it

363
00:20:19.240 --> 00:20:25.240
just really illustrated the intense vulnerability of a person alone

364
00:20:25.319 --> 00:20:29.119
and a woman alone, and it.

365
00:20:29.079 --> 00:20:32.720
Was it was so eye opening on such a level that.

366
00:20:32.680 --> 00:20:36.599
I I had never experienced that before.

367
00:20:37.519 --> 00:20:39.559
And it does something to your psyche.

368
00:20:40.839 --> 00:20:44.079
It does, it really does, and I'm not quite sure

369
00:20:44.640 --> 00:20:49.200
how to man It makes you look at everything totally

370
00:20:49.240 --> 00:20:50.920
different when you experience.

371
00:20:50.480 --> 00:20:55.519
Something that does it Does it makes you vigilant for preparation.

372
00:20:55.240 --> 00:20:59.400
Yes, yes, one like you realize you are the only

373
00:20:59.440 --> 00:21:04.559
one out there that can, like you need to be prepared. Yes,

374
00:21:04.680 --> 00:21:07.000
in more ways than you were realized, which is.

375
00:21:07.640 --> 00:21:12.720
Yeah, yeah, on some levels, that was the ultimate challenge

376
00:21:13.079 --> 00:21:14.839
in an outsoor leadership program.

377
00:21:15.880 --> 00:21:17.880
But nobody else had that experience.

378
00:21:17.960 --> 00:21:21.880
I asked my two other compatriots if they heard that roar,

379
00:21:22.000 --> 00:21:23.759
because there's no way.

380
00:21:23.960 --> 00:21:25.000
It was like a train.

381
00:21:25.160 --> 00:21:27.519
It was that loud, you know when a train whistle blows,

382
00:21:27.920 --> 00:21:31.079
Only this was like right next to me. There's no

383
00:21:31.119 --> 00:21:33.559
way they couldn't have heard it. So I don't know

384
00:21:33.680 --> 00:21:37.799
what happened. And I'm hoping that by sharing my story,

385
00:21:37.920 --> 00:21:41.480
someone else will go, oh, yeah, that sounds exactly like

386
00:21:41.559 --> 00:21:46.039
what happened to me, and then maybe I'll have more answers.

387
00:21:46.559 --> 00:21:47.319
I really hope.

388
00:21:47.359 --> 00:21:50.440
So, and that was actually a question I was going

389
00:21:50.480 --> 00:21:53.359
to ask, So I'm glad you just answered it. Which

390
00:21:53.880 --> 00:21:58.440
the other two females did not have any experience similar

391
00:21:58.480 --> 00:22:02.440
to what you experienced, which, man, that really that really

392
00:22:02.480 --> 00:22:05.559
makes you wonder because it's like, well.

393
00:22:05.400 --> 00:22:08.039
One was a female and one was a male, but

394
00:22:08.160 --> 00:22:10.319
neither of them had anything like that.

395
00:22:10.440 --> 00:22:12.480
Nothing like that, and they didn't hear anything.

396
00:22:13.400 --> 00:22:14.880
I think one of them said they had a weird

397
00:22:15.000 --> 00:22:16.880
dream that was incredibly vivid.

398
00:22:16.960 --> 00:22:18.160
But that's it.

399
00:22:18.400 --> 00:22:24.119
Now, That's that's something right there, Beth. Sometimes that kind

400
00:22:24.119 --> 00:22:27.640
of thing is connected to this phenomenon, and that would

401
00:22:27.640 --> 00:22:34.200
be interesting sometimes, you know, as you said, becoming paralyzed,

402
00:22:35.279 --> 00:22:38.920
that's something you hear over and over sometimes, vivid dreams.

403
00:22:39.319 --> 00:22:41.839
That does come up quite a bit when I'm talking

404
00:22:42.359 --> 00:22:46.680
to people as well, the murmuring of voices where you

405
00:22:46.720 --> 00:22:51.680
can't really understand what they're saying. You hear that a lot.

406
00:22:52.000 --> 00:22:55.920
Even even the lights you mentioned they were kind of

407
00:22:55.920 --> 00:23:00.960
like flashlights. But sometimes in these encounters you even you

408
00:23:01.000 --> 00:23:05.720
know there there's lights randomly in the woods. That's hard

409
00:23:05.720 --> 00:23:10.400
to tell you. Yeah, exactly, the orbs exactly.

410
00:23:10.400 --> 00:23:13.119
It would have to be a very very very bright

411
00:23:13.319 --> 00:23:18.000
orb like headlamp, I mean from a car headlamp.

412
00:23:18.519 --> 00:23:18.960
Gotcha.

413
00:23:21.480 --> 00:23:24.200
It makes you wonder have you ever been back to

414
00:23:24.319 --> 00:23:25.720
that that forest again?

415
00:23:27.440 --> 00:23:28.480
No, that's a good question.

416
00:23:30.759 --> 00:23:32.279
I don't know if I could find this about that's

417
00:23:32.279 --> 00:23:33.279
thirty three years ago?

418
00:23:33.400 --> 00:23:40.799
But which would be Yeah? Would that be ninety three?

419
00:23:41.079 --> 00:23:41.599
Is that right?

420
00:23:42.079 --> 00:23:43.799
Yep? That's the year I graduated.

421
00:23:43.880 --> 00:23:48.519
Yeah, oh my goodness, I was in third grade and Brattleborough.

422
00:23:51.599 --> 00:23:54.839
Third grade and Brattleborough. Did you go to the high school?

423
00:23:55.519 --> 00:23:59.839
No? And this is this is rabbit trail for me.

424
00:23:59.920 --> 00:24:05.119
I went to a small private school across the street

425
00:24:05.160 --> 00:24:08.759
from the skating rink called Christian Heritage, and it was

426
00:24:09.519 --> 00:24:11.519
now it's like a preschool. They turned it into like

427
00:24:12.039 --> 00:24:13.519
if it's even a building anymore.

428
00:24:13.880 --> 00:24:14.359
I mean.

429
00:24:15.759 --> 00:24:18.599
Across from the skating rink at the park.

430
00:24:19.160 --> 00:24:22.319
Yeah, it's over there by that park. There was a small,

431
00:24:22.640 --> 00:24:26.319
small private school. Yeah, small private religious school.

432
00:24:26.359 --> 00:24:28.960
Oh, there's an elementary school in the back there.

433
00:24:29.279 --> 00:24:34.799
Okay, yeah, yes, yes it was brick.

434
00:24:34.920 --> 00:24:37.759
Yes, yes, I imagine that's where it was.

435
00:24:38.000 --> 00:24:40.079
That's funny. Yeah, that's that's what it was.

436
00:24:40.880 --> 00:24:43.440
Have you ever looked to see if there's any other

437
00:24:44.200 --> 00:24:46.400
Bigfoot experiences that have happened in this area.

438
00:24:48.240 --> 00:24:50.799
My best friend did after I told her the story.

439
00:24:51.160 --> 00:24:55.519
I had really like forgotten about the story completely until

440
00:24:56.640 --> 00:25:00.519
but I'm really into Bigfoot, and oh I get to

441
00:25:00.559 --> 00:25:04.279
show share with you how I became a believer because

442
00:25:04.319 --> 00:25:06.079
it's different from everybody else.

443
00:25:07.000 --> 00:25:08.000
But I digress.

444
00:25:08.240 --> 00:25:14.039
But my so, my good friend googled the dars campground

445
00:25:14.359 --> 00:25:17.960
area and uh not camp around the Kate Park. And

446
00:25:18.079 --> 00:25:23.519
there are some stories about vibrational noises, very loud vibrational noises,

447
00:25:24.000 --> 00:25:28.519
some stuff about bigfoot, nothing like what I reported.

448
00:25:31.000 --> 00:25:36.799
Okay, that's really interesting vibrational noises that I'll have to

449
00:25:36.960 --> 00:25:39.519
see if I can find that. I was doing a

450
00:25:39.559 --> 00:25:45.160
little bit of looking myself, like the BFR database. Uh

451
00:25:45.279 --> 00:25:50.640
there's stuff reported on the Seven Sisters Holy Oak Range,

452
00:25:51.160 --> 00:25:55.279
like over by South Hadley and Amherst. Rely on the

453
00:25:55.279 --> 00:26:00.920
Eminem trail. You aware that one probably something paste them

454
00:26:00.960 --> 00:26:04.079
on both sides of the trail for forty five minutes. Whistles, whoops.

455
00:26:04.480 --> 00:26:10.079
That was back in August twenty twenty. Research is also

456
00:26:10.119 --> 00:26:14.799
showing Jonathan Wilke Is is a pretty well known bigfoot

457
00:26:14.799 --> 00:26:18.920
researcher in Massachusetts. He has a Squashachusetts and he has

458
00:26:20.160 --> 00:26:24.519
I believe a number of cases from that area. And

459
00:26:24.559 --> 00:26:27.079
that's like, I think that area is like twenty twenty

460
00:26:27.079 --> 00:26:31.039
five miles southeast of Dar. So when you get like

461
00:26:31.640 --> 00:26:35.920
other sighting reports in a pretty close area to where

462
00:26:35.960 --> 00:26:38.799
you are, I mean it's I don't think it's out

463
00:26:38.799 --> 00:26:41.799
of the question as well. And I mean that Dar

464
00:26:41.839 --> 00:26:43.319
if you look on it at a map. I mean,

465
00:26:44.200 --> 00:26:47.759
it's just kind of like gateway to the Gateway to

466
00:26:47.839 --> 00:26:51.960
Western Mass and Western Mass some really really weird stuff.

467
00:26:52.000 --> 00:26:55.599
But you mentioned that you have an interesting story about

468
00:26:55.640 --> 00:26:59.160
how how you got to believe in Bigfoot.

469
00:27:00.240 --> 00:27:03.559
Yes, this is coming from somebody that is a long

470
00:27:03.680 --> 00:27:14.119
term experienced animal communicator and horse person, lifelong experience with horses,

471
00:27:14.160 --> 00:27:16.039
So I just I have to give you that as

472
00:27:16.160 --> 00:27:19.119
a little bit of a background. So, and this pertains

473
00:27:19.160 --> 00:27:23.640
to the Parison Gimlin film. So when I first saw

474
00:27:25.559 --> 00:27:30.319
the stuff about Bigfoot, it was just that little clip

475
00:27:30.519 --> 00:27:36.079
of the female Bigfoot way across the sand dunes looking back,

476
00:27:36.160 --> 00:27:37.079
and that's the only.

477
00:27:36.920 --> 00:27:38.119
Clip that they ever showed.

478
00:27:39.359 --> 00:27:41.759
And then I don't know why, all of a sudden,

479
00:27:41.799 --> 00:27:44.960
some other program came on and they showed the entirety

480
00:27:45.480 --> 00:27:53.319
of the Gimlin film. And it starts with before they've dismounted,

481
00:27:54.079 --> 00:27:59.640
and the horses see something first and one of them

482
00:27:59.640 --> 00:28:04.960
rear throws Bob Gimlin, I think it is. And these

483
00:28:04.960 --> 00:28:08.359
are again, these are lifelong riders. Those horses were so afraid.

484
00:28:08.640 --> 00:28:11.559
I have never seen horses that afraid. Now I know

485
00:28:11.599 --> 00:28:14.279
they're stupid and they react and they're you know their

486
00:28:14.400 --> 00:28:19.519
prey animals, and so they are instinctively going to react.

487
00:28:19.200 --> 00:28:21.839
Rather than it be a lion.

488
00:28:22.039 --> 00:28:28.680
But I've never seen the kind of crazy eyed fear

489
00:28:28.759 --> 00:28:34.400
that these horses showed in that footage that convinced me.

490
00:28:34.759 --> 00:28:36.720
It was the horses that convinced me that that thing

491
00:28:36.799 --> 00:28:38.440
was real. And up to that point, I was like,

492
00:28:38.519 --> 00:28:42.440
that can't be. There's just no way. And the things

493
00:28:42.480 --> 00:28:44.079
that they say they can do in the mind speak,

494
00:28:44.160 --> 00:28:45.799
I was like, oh, this is stupid.

495
00:28:46.039 --> 00:28:48.480
I'm gonna have been bigfoots baby, you know, that's what

496
00:28:48.599 --> 00:28:49.559
it was in that camp.

497
00:28:50.559 --> 00:28:54.119
But when I saw the horses, I remember sitting there

498
00:28:54.680 --> 00:28:56.599
black Jot going it's real.

499
00:28:57.319 --> 00:29:02.000
And that's that turned the whole uh turn the tables.

500
00:29:01.680 --> 00:29:05.039
Around completely, And then I was a I started doing

501
00:29:05.039 --> 00:29:07.960
a lot of research and then when it you know,

502
00:29:08.000 --> 00:29:12.880
when we got YouTube and phones and stuff, obsessively search

503
00:29:12.960 --> 00:29:14.319
because I want to know more.

504
00:29:15.240 --> 00:29:19.319
Were you referencing the National Inquirer, like old article from

505
00:29:19.359 --> 00:29:21.559
back in the day where it's like.

506
00:29:21.880 --> 00:29:24.920
It was something it was something on TV really either

507
00:29:25.039 --> 00:29:29.720
in search of with Leonard Dnoy or one of the

508
00:29:29.799 --> 00:29:34.160
missed uh the what were those unexplained?

509
00:29:34.759 --> 00:29:35.119
It was.

510
00:29:36.960 --> 00:29:38.039
It was a long time ago.

511
00:29:38.279 --> 00:29:41.160
It was early seventies when I saw when the when

512
00:29:41.200 --> 00:29:44.200
the entirety of the film was still around. I don't

513
00:29:44.240 --> 00:29:47.680
think you never see it in entirety. I can't say

514
00:29:47.680 --> 00:29:52.279
that in a sentence. You never see it in entirety anymore.

515
00:29:53.519 --> 00:29:56.599
I don't know if it's chopped up, put away or whatever,

516
00:29:56.680 --> 00:30:00.440
but it's that bit of information doesn't seem interesting and

517
00:30:00.519 --> 00:30:03.839
relevant to anybody except for me, who knows when an

518
00:30:03.880 --> 00:30:08.200
animal is stared beyond any rational means.

519
00:30:09.319 --> 00:30:14.319
So a few things, but it's definitely still relevant, and

520
00:30:14.720 --> 00:30:16.480
at least in the community. I mean, there's a whole

521
00:30:16.519 --> 00:30:19.319
like side thing where there's this dock coming out and

522
00:30:19.319 --> 00:30:22.200
people are like, Oh, what's going to happen anyways, maybe

523
00:30:22.240 --> 00:30:24.839
we'll see that, maybe we won't. But what you brought up,

524
00:30:25.000 --> 00:30:27.880
I don't think I've ever had anyone brought up bring

525
00:30:27.960 --> 00:30:31.039
up on the show before. Which is really interesting is

526
00:30:31.119 --> 00:30:36.640
how you noticed how the horses reacted. And I mean,

527
00:30:36.960 --> 00:30:41.759
that's something you really can't fake, is I would assume.

528
00:30:42.880 --> 00:30:43.839
Horses don't lie.

529
00:30:44.079 --> 00:30:49.359
Yeah, you know, they they're instinctive run away from danger creatures.

530
00:30:49.519 --> 00:30:54.160
And these horses wanted nowhere to be nowhere near that thing,

531
00:30:54.160 --> 00:30:57.279
and they like I said, they saw it first. And

532
00:30:57.319 --> 00:30:59.720
I've seen horses react when deer come through or bear

533
00:30:59.720 --> 00:31:03.039
come from, and yeah they're scared, but this was stupid scared.

534
00:31:03.599 --> 00:31:06.880
And horses do get stupid scared, It's true. But there

535
00:31:06.960 --> 00:31:10.480
was something in their faces. They only caught their faces

536
00:31:10.480 --> 00:31:12.559
for a second, and I.

537
00:31:14.119 --> 00:31:17.240
Just knew, gotcha.

538
00:31:17.359 --> 00:31:21.680
So so your answer to how how you got to

539
00:31:21.720 --> 00:31:25.839
believe in Bigfoot is watching that film, the PG film

540
00:31:25.920 --> 00:31:28.839
through the eyes of someone who is a lifelong horse

541
00:31:29.160 --> 00:31:29.960
horse enthusiast.

542
00:31:31.079 --> 00:31:32.519
Yes, okay, that's awesome.

543
00:31:33.680 --> 00:31:34.440
That was the moment.

544
00:31:35.079 --> 00:31:44.799
Yeah, okay, before this event in dar Forest, had had

545
00:31:44.799 --> 00:31:47.359
Bigfoot ever been brought up? I mean, I know, growing

546
00:31:47.440 --> 00:31:50.880
up in New England in Franklin County, I mean, the

547
00:31:50.880 --> 00:31:54.079
only time I ever really heard about Bigfoot as as

548
00:31:54.119 --> 00:31:57.599
a young kid was seeing like the Patterson Gimmun film

549
00:31:57.880 --> 00:32:00.680
on in Search of Rerun. So I'm curious, did it

550
00:32:00.680 --> 00:32:02.759
ever come up for you in any way or even

551
00:32:03.000 --> 00:32:04.559
like in your training or.

552
00:32:07.400 --> 00:32:10.000
Oh no, we didn't talk about it at all in

553
00:32:10.039 --> 00:32:17.200
the training that was and there were books every now

554
00:32:17.240 --> 00:32:20.519
and then that someone would have in their personal library,

555
00:32:20.720 --> 00:32:22.680
and but I didn't.

556
00:32:25.000 --> 00:32:27.480
I didn't really it was it was hard to dig

557
00:32:27.559 --> 00:32:29.720
up information. I guess. I guess I could have gone

558
00:32:29.759 --> 00:32:30.359
to the library.

559
00:32:30.440 --> 00:32:34.359
Lexington had a great library, but I didn't really search

560
00:32:34.400 --> 00:32:34.720
it out.

561
00:32:34.839 --> 00:32:37.359
I didn't really start searching it out until.

562
00:32:40.279 --> 00:32:42.559
Probably a couple of years ago when I started really

563
00:32:42.599 --> 00:32:45.640
listening for like, whenever have you heard the cee?

564
00:32:45.759 --> 00:32:47.279
You must have heard the Sierra sounds?

565
00:32:47.759 --> 00:32:51.640
Yeah, right, absolutely, it is a classic type.

566
00:32:52.559 --> 00:32:55.559
Makes it Yeah, it makes my spine just hurt.

567
00:32:56.519 --> 00:32:59.359
But I'm I'm looking for somebody who has a recording

568
00:32:59.480 --> 00:33:00.920
of that war that I heard.

569
00:33:03.160 --> 00:33:07.359
So I'm curious because I have a similar experience. So

570
00:33:07.400 --> 00:33:11.119
I've I can imagine you've tried to find something that's

571
00:33:11.160 --> 00:33:14.960
similar to that roar, right, Yeah? Have you been able

572
00:33:15.000 --> 00:33:16.400
to find anything that similar to.

573
00:33:16.359 --> 00:33:19.640
It on Jurassic Park?

574
00:33:20.000 --> 00:33:27.960
Okay, just like a dinosaur, like a digital yeah, a

575
00:33:28.039 --> 00:33:28.759
digital war.

576
00:33:28.880 --> 00:33:33.119
It was that quality, that size chest cavity.

577
00:33:34.119 --> 00:33:37.480
That's really interesting because I so I've experienced the roar

578
00:33:38.279 --> 00:33:43.200
once out in the will Lame at National Forest in Oregon,

579
00:33:44.240 --> 00:33:46.119
and I've I've never been able to find anything that

580
00:33:46.160 --> 00:33:47.200
even comes close to it.

581
00:33:47.240 --> 00:33:49.079
But I'm gonna.

582
00:33:48.680 --> 00:33:50.839
Am I describing the war you heard.

583
00:33:50.880 --> 00:33:53.920
Do you think I think it's it's similar. I mean,

584
00:33:54.039 --> 00:33:56.799
the thing about that was different about mine was it

585
00:33:56.880 --> 00:33:59.640
wasn't like really close, but it was still loud. Like

586
00:33:59.680 --> 00:34:02.599
if that whatever that was was right up next to us,

587
00:34:02.680 --> 00:34:04.880
it would have it would have blown us away and

588
00:34:04.920 --> 00:34:07.240
our hair would have been back like in a cartoon

589
00:34:07.519 --> 00:34:09.519
kind of. You know, it feels like it would have

590
00:34:09.519 --> 00:34:14.239
been that loud. But yeah, yeah, yeah.

591
00:34:13.599 --> 00:34:15.159
This was right upside that. Yeah.

592
00:34:15.199 --> 00:34:17.800
Okay, my goodness, I'll have to listen to to t

593
00:34:18.000 --> 00:34:25.800
rex roars again and think about that. So lifelong, just curious.

594
00:34:25.960 --> 00:34:28.000
What does animal communicator do.

595
00:34:33.159 --> 00:34:37.360
My take on it is it's probably very similar to

596
00:34:37.920 --> 00:34:42.280
someone who can read human body language. It's basically reading

597
00:34:42.280 --> 00:34:48.039
body language and knowing what the signs mean. Like for instance,

598
00:34:48.199 --> 00:34:52.079
if a horse has its head really high, it has

599
00:34:52.320 --> 00:34:55.320
very high anxiety, and a horse that's head is very

600
00:34:55.400 --> 00:34:57.039
low is very low anxiety.

601
00:34:57.039 --> 00:34:58.159
It's probably about to role.

602
00:34:58.840 --> 00:35:02.760
You have to know those kind of context because a

603
00:35:02.800 --> 00:35:06.119
horse that can that's gonna roll is very vulnerable to

604
00:35:06.239 --> 00:35:10.159
a big predator, so it has to feel safe. So

605
00:35:10.199 --> 00:35:14.159
it's and it's all linked in horses, it's all hardwired.

606
00:35:14.719 --> 00:35:17.320
So if the horse's head gets high, it's gonna get

607
00:35:17.639 --> 00:35:21.079
a big reaction.

608
00:35:21.440 --> 00:35:24.280
Just like and we even have some hardwired things like

609
00:35:24.320 --> 00:35:29.960
if you smile, you can increase dopamine and oxytocin in

610
00:35:30.000 --> 00:35:33.559
your own body. It's hardwired. So you learn to read

611
00:35:33.639 --> 00:35:39.360
those cues and they become kind of microscopic and you

612
00:35:39.599 --> 00:35:44.599
just get In my case, I get sent pictures, flash pictures.

613
00:35:45.639 --> 00:35:48.119
My horse once was acting all nervous ones and I

614
00:35:48.119 --> 00:35:49.440
asked him what was wrong, and he sent me a

615
00:35:49.440 --> 00:35:50.880
picture of a red fox, and I'm like.

616
00:35:50.920 --> 00:35:52.679
Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's just so convenient.

617
00:35:52.920 --> 00:35:56.800
You know, even I don't even believe my own mind sometimes,

618
00:35:57.159 --> 00:35:59.360
And two seconds later, a red fox came trotting down

619
00:35:59.400 --> 00:35:59.719
the hill.

620
00:36:00.159 --> 00:36:04.079
So it's one of those things that plays out and is.

621
00:36:06.559 --> 00:36:11.719
Validated in real life instances so that you know that you're.

622
00:36:11.559 --> 00:36:14.079
Not making it up and you're not going crazy that

623
00:36:14.119 --> 00:36:14.559
kind of thing.

624
00:36:14.599 --> 00:36:21.320
So an animal communicator just can communicate with animals. I

625
00:36:21.320 --> 00:36:24.519
can't do it with all animals, and I can't do

626
00:36:24.559 --> 00:36:27.440
it with all species, but when I can, it's.

627
00:36:28.880 --> 00:36:31.360
It's kind of it's kind of magical.

628
00:36:32.239 --> 00:36:33.480
When did that first start for you?

629
00:36:35.320 --> 00:36:37.760
Oh, as a child, I've always had it.

630
00:36:39.639 --> 00:36:44.280
I had kind of crazy parents, and I knew that

631
00:36:44.320 --> 00:36:46.280
they were kind of crazy. Even when I was little,

632
00:36:46.519 --> 00:36:49.599
so I spent a lot of time outside playing with

633
00:36:49.679 --> 00:36:52.239
toads and animals and stuff, which is how I knew

634
00:36:52.280 --> 00:36:55.119
I wanted to go into the Outdoor Leadership program as

635
00:36:55.159 --> 00:36:59.440
a career and a school choice. So I really bonded

636
00:37:00.079 --> 00:37:03.719
with animals and the natural world, not so much with people.

637
00:37:06.880 --> 00:37:09.800
So I've always been able to do it. I think

638
00:37:09.880 --> 00:37:11.920
more when I was little than I am now, because

639
00:37:11.960 --> 00:37:15.679
now you're you're editing everything in your head and judging everything,

640
00:37:15.760 --> 00:37:18.159
and that's the one thing that you have to do

641
00:37:18.239 --> 00:37:20.159
when you want to communicate, is you've got to drop

642
00:37:20.199 --> 00:37:21.199
the judgment.

643
00:37:22.360 --> 00:37:25.079
That's fascinating you, like shut down the part of your

644
00:37:25.079 --> 00:37:28.639
brain that logically kicks in when you experience something that

645
00:37:29.199 --> 00:37:32.000
shouldn't happen or something shouldn't be there.

646
00:37:32.239 --> 00:37:36.079
Right, Yeah, Yeah, you're like, yeah, you're just making that.

647
00:37:36.159 --> 00:37:44.800
Up, right when so? Did your parents also have things

648
00:37:44.800 --> 00:37:48.880
they would experience it. Sometimes you'll have an individual that

649
00:37:48.960 --> 00:37:52.199
will be sensitive in certain ways, and it's actually it

650
00:37:52.199 --> 00:37:55.840
seems to be like a it'll run through genetics. It's

651
00:37:56.000 --> 00:38:03.119
very very interesting, and you don't have to get into that,

652
00:38:03.159 --> 00:38:06.199
definitely if you don't need to. But that's just something

653
00:38:06.239 --> 00:38:09.280
I've I've found over the years is you know, if

654
00:38:09.320 --> 00:38:13.719
you ask the question, an individual that you know is

655
00:38:13.800 --> 00:38:15.880
sensitive to be like, oh well, you know, my my

656
00:38:16.000 --> 00:38:18.880
grandma used to used to be.

657
00:38:19.280 --> 00:38:24.360
Oh yeah, my sister, my sister. And in the seventies

658
00:38:24.360 --> 00:38:30.079
it was huge to do ESP and there were some

659
00:38:30.119 --> 00:38:31.000
shows on it.

660
00:38:31.480 --> 00:38:34.000
Uh and we used to practice and we were actually

661
00:38:34.480 --> 00:38:39.280
we got over fifty correct answers, which is weird.

662
00:38:41.320 --> 00:38:44.880
So only that I would I never asked my parents

663
00:38:44.920 --> 00:38:47.960
if they believed in Bigfoot. I don't think, gotcha. Nothing

664
00:38:48.039 --> 00:38:48.360
like that.

665
00:38:49.199 --> 00:38:51.920
ESP is like when it's like what's on the card

666
00:38:52.039 --> 00:38:52.760
that you can't see?

667
00:38:52.840 --> 00:38:53.280
Is that right?

668
00:38:54.400 --> 00:38:54.639
Yeah?

669
00:38:54.840 --> 00:38:57.679
Or you are sending thoughts from one person to another,

670
00:38:58.079 --> 00:39:00.519
and that's the mind speak thing that I That's what

671
00:39:00.559 --> 00:39:03.079
I think is when people talk about the mind speak

672
00:39:03.199 --> 00:39:09.480
with Bigfoot, it just stands for extrasensory perception. So it's

673
00:39:09.679 --> 00:39:14.000
just an ability to be extra perceptive about those tiny,

674
00:39:14.199 --> 00:39:22.360
little microscopic expressions and muscle movements that translate into a meaning.

675
00:39:23.599 --> 00:39:24.519
That's interesting.

676
00:39:24.559 --> 00:39:29.280
Do you think what you experienced during that encounter was

677
00:39:29.840 --> 00:39:32.679
some form of telepathy or do you have any thoughts

678
00:39:32.719 --> 00:39:36.679
about that where you get the message just like run I.

679
00:39:36.599 --> 00:39:39.119
Don't know where that came from. You know how, sometimes

680
00:39:39.360 --> 00:39:41.480
your own mind will do that to you. Your self

681
00:39:41.480 --> 00:39:45.599
preservation will be just whatever duck right now the ball

682
00:39:45.760 --> 00:39:47.320
is you know, you get a line drive to.

683
00:39:47.280 --> 00:39:50.239
Your head and you don't know where it comes from.

684
00:39:50.320 --> 00:39:53.159
And I don't know where that came from.

685
00:39:54.079 --> 00:39:58.559
It was just there, just run very clear.

686
00:40:00.360 --> 00:40:02.480
We are tuned, and some people are way more tuned

687
00:40:02.480 --> 00:40:06.039
in than others to know that feeling that you're being

688
00:40:06.039 --> 00:40:09.840
stared at when from behind, that's a real thing.

689
00:40:09.880 --> 00:40:11.519
There's a book written about that.

690
00:40:12.239 --> 00:40:15.639
You can actually pick up on that kind of energy

691
00:40:16.400 --> 00:40:17.119
coming at you.

692
00:40:19.719 --> 00:40:19.960
Yeah.

693
00:40:20.239 --> 00:40:25.559
Man, my dad had a really cool collection of books

694
00:40:26.000 --> 00:40:28.320
that I believe you probably picked up during the OLP

695
00:40:28.519 --> 00:40:32.039
program because I I there are some cool stuff in there.

696
00:40:32.079 --> 00:40:35.239
There was like the Tom Brown books. I never don't

697
00:40:35.280 --> 00:40:36.679
know if you ever read Tom Brown books.

698
00:40:37.679 --> 00:40:39.480
I think that was the book I was reading in

699
00:40:39.559 --> 00:40:42.000
my tent, I really do.

700
00:40:44.440 --> 00:40:44.639
Yeah.

701
00:40:44.800 --> 00:40:48.199
But Cracker, I'm pretty sure that was the book I

702
00:40:48.199 --> 00:40:48.800
brought with me.

703
00:40:49.599 --> 00:40:54.199
It's such a good book too. Trackers are also the

704
00:40:54.280 --> 00:40:56.760
fox Fire books. Those are fun to read.

705
00:40:59.000 --> 00:41:03.559
Yeah, those are. I never read them, but I definitely

706
00:41:04.239 --> 00:41:05.039
perused them.

707
00:41:05.280 --> 00:41:06.719
Yeah.

708
00:41:07.159 --> 00:41:11.320
So after you said that, after this, then you you

709
00:41:11.400 --> 00:41:15.760
worked for a long time. Actually, were you working with

710
00:41:15.840 --> 00:41:19.639
the OLP program or you're just using your skills like

711
00:41:19.840 --> 00:41:22.800
talking to or communicating with animals and things like that.

712
00:41:24.760 --> 00:41:29.119
Oh, that's just sort of I didn't make a career

713
00:41:29.159 --> 00:41:30.400
out of that. I just do that.

714
00:41:32.079 --> 00:41:33.920
I do have a pet sitting business now and I

715
00:41:33.960 --> 00:41:35.239
certainly use it now.

716
00:41:35.280 --> 00:41:39.360
But I forget what the question was again.

717
00:41:39.840 --> 00:41:43.800
Sorry, So, yeah, after you graduated from OLP, how did

718
00:41:43.800 --> 00:41:47.639
you end up using those skills that you had gotten?

719
00:41:48.039 --> 00:41:49.320
Yeah, gotcha.

720
00:41:50.000 --> 00:41:52.599
Well, I worked for Camp Dakota for about seven years,

721
00:41:54.199 --> 00:42:02.280
different other camps. Back in Boston, I worked in some

722
00:42:02.320 --> 00:42:06.440
climbing gyms for twelve thirteen years.

723
00:42:06.519 --> 00:42:09.599
I was the Adventure Education director.

724
00:42:09.320 --> 00:42:14.199
For Landmark College here up here in Putney, and boy,

725
00:42:14.239 --> 00:42:16.719
that's another story. The minute I got on campus and

726
00:42:16.760 --> 00:42:20.679
got that job, everybody went, Beth, you are so ADHD

727
00:42:21.159 --> 00:42:23.519
because it's a college for ADHD.

728
00:42:23.000 --> 00:42:24.360
In dyslexics, right exactly.

729
00:42:26.039 --> 00:42:27.599
That was where I got diagnosed.

730
00:42:27.880 --> 00:42:31.079
Wow, And that was another big thing that changed a

731
00:42:31.199 --> 00:42:32.519
whole lot in my life.

732
00:42:32.559 --> 00:42:34.159
When it's so ironic.

733
00:42:33.840 --> 00:42:37.119
Because my mother put your seatbelt on for this was

734
00:42:37.159 --> 00:42:42.280
a special education teacher and I didn't ever get diagnosed

735
00:42:42.880 --> 00:42:46.039
until the day I walked into Landmark College and they're like,

736
00:42:46.039 --> 00:42:47.880
you're so classically Adhd.

737
00:42:48.159 --> 00:42:49.039
That's fascinating.

738
00:42:49.239 --> 00:42:52.920
I'm laughing just because I'm the odds of me being

739
00:42:53.000 --> 00:42:55.880
undiagnosed or probably one hundred percent just because of.

740
00:42:56.480 --> 00:43:00.400
Different welcome to the community. It was a wonderful unity.

741
00:43:00.840 --> 00:43:04.400
And I have to say having Adhd as a kid sucked,

742
00:43:04.840 --> 00:43:07.559
but as an adult it kind of helps.

743
00:43:07.760 --> 00:43:09.280
Yeah, it does. It really does.

744
00:43:09.679 --> 00:43:13.440
You learned so many, so many tricks and skills to

745
00:43:13.519 --> 00:43:14.199
overcome it.

746
00:43:14.360 --> 00:43:17.639
You really do. Is Camp Dakota out in New England

747
00:43:17.639 --> 00:43:18.000
as well?

748
00:43:19.440 --> 00:43:20.480
Richmond, New Hampshire?

749
00:43:20.960 --> 00:43:24.840
Oh yeah, totally. That's that's cool. There's a lot of

750
00:43:24.840 --> 00:43:27.599
bigfoot stuff in south southern New Hampshire.

751
00:43:27.599 --> 00:43:28.599
I don't know if you've ever left.

752
00:43:28.800 --> 00:43:34.480
Yes, yeah, Oh that's actually a good question.

753
00:43:34.639 --> 00:43:41.239
So you have the experience, you realize you start believing

754
00:43:41.280 --> 00:43:46.599
in bigfoot through the PG film, then did you start?

755
00:43:46.960 --> 00:43:49.360
Some people will be like, Okay, bigfoots out there, that's cool.

756
00:43:49.639 --> 00:43:51.639
Some people will really get into it and being like, oh,

757
00:43:51.679 --> 00:43:53.559
I want to like look out, look up all the

758
00:43:53.559 --> 00:43:56.000
different bigfoot stuff around my area. Did that happen to

759
00:43:56.039 --> 00:43:58.800
you at all? Did you start going on your little

760
00:43:59.119 --> 00:44:01.760
knowledge quests around the area. I wonder if Bigfoot's had

761
00:44:01.800 --> 00:44:05.000
stuff here or here? Did you ever go down that trail?

762
00:44:07.039 --> 00:44:08.360
I wasn't so.

763
00:44:08.440 --> 00:44:14.119
Much looking for bigfoot experiences where I in my area.

764
00:44:14.440 --> 00:44:16.559
I was just more looking up the data, like I

765
00:44:16.599 --> 00:44:20.599
fell in love with Jeff Meldram and just listened and

766
00:44:20.880 --> 00:44:23.480
read everything I could get my hands on, because he's

767
00:44:23.519 --> 00:44:26.280
got the credibility. He's just a decent guy. He's a

768
00:44:26.280 --> 00:44:31.079
great speaker. Was Unfortunately, it's my big regret is I

769
00:44:31.119 --> 00:44:31.679
never got.

770
00:44:31.480 --> 00:44:34.079
To meet Jeff.

771
00:44:34.800 --> 00:44:41.719
Yeah, but I wasn't as I think I didn't want

772
00:44:41.760 --> 00:44:46.079
to know that there were bigfoot incidences near me because

773
00:44:46.800 --> 00:44:50.360
I want to remain a little bit ignorant on it.

774
00:44:50.400 --> 00:44:54.239
Because it's as fascinating as it is, it's also brings

775
00:44:54.280 --> 00:44:57.639
a lot of anxiety and fear with it. So I

776
00:44:57.679 --> 00:45:02.119
think I've been looking more in other places now.

777
00:45:02.199 --> 00:45:03.000
I'm starting to.

778
00:45:03.000 --> 00:45:10.599
Get more interest in what's around me since the since

779
00:45:10.679 --> 00:45:13.679
kind of discovering you and that you were looking for

780
00:45:15.719 --> 00:45:17.880
stories from this area. I didn't think there were any

781
00:45:17.920 --> 00:45:19.960
stories from this area, but there.

782
00:45:19.760 --> 00:45:21.320
Are there are.

783
00:45:21.559 --> 00:45:28.239
Yeah, surprisingly, So just as we said before, not a

784
00:45:28.239 --> 00:45:31.559
lot of people from New England like to talk about stuff,

785
00:45:31.559 --> 00:45:35.960
which is that's perfectly fine. But yeah, the more the

786
00:45:35.960 --> 00:45:38.800
more I do this, like I've talked to people that

787
00:45:38.920 --> 00:45:44.119
have seen stuff in Agawam surprising enough, all corners of

788
00:45:44.159 --> 00:45:48.000
the Kabbin. A lot of stuff around the Kabbin, which

789
00:45:48.079 --> 00:45:49.320
is really not surprising.

790
00:45:49.960 --> 00:45:52.639
And then the Cobble Mountain.

791
00:45:52.360 --> 00:45:58.440
Reservoir is really is a wild wild place. So it's like,

792
00:45:58.519 --> 00:46:00.039
you know where Westfield.

793
00:45:59.559 --> 00:46:03.199
Is Westfield near Springfield.

794
00:46:03.239 --> 00:46:05.000
Yeah, you got Springfield and Westfield, and if you go

795
00:46:05.079 --> 00:46:09.360
west west of Westfield in the when it turns into

796
00:46:09.400 --> 00:46:13.440
the woods like Grandville and stuff, there's this Cobble Mountain

797
00:46:13.480 --> 00:46:16.960
Reservoir in that area. Talk to a few people about

798
00:46:16.960 --> 00:46:19.440
that area. There is a lot a lot about bigfoot

799
00:46:19.440 --> 00:46:21.400
activity that happens over there.

800
00:46:23.079 --> 00:46:26.400
Yeah, so that might be something to look into it. Man.

801
00:46:27.079 --> 00:46:32.519
Also another plug, if listeners know of anything that has

802
00:46:32.599 --> 00:46:36.599
happened in Franklin County or any of the areas we

803
00:46:36.679 --> 00:46:39.440
talked about, or even da R Forest, I would love

804
00:46:39.719 --> 00:46:42.119
to talk to you if you could send me an email.

805
00:46:42.199 --> 00:46:44.800
Big for Society gmail dot com. I know there's stuff

806
00:46:44.840 --> 00:46:46.840
happening in Northfield, I know it.

807
00:46:47.360 --> 00:46:50.039
Well, maybe I'll be the maybe I'll be the cantalyst for.

808
00:46:50.519 --> 00:46:56.320
Maybe maybe every Everyone has their their own time. But Beth,

809
00:46:56.400 --> 00:46:59.280
what a what a fascinating conversation. I'm glad that you

810
00:46:59.360 --> 00:47:02.400
were still able to graduate from The OLP program is

811
00:47:02.440 --> 00:47:05.719
a great program. I hope they're still doing it. I

812
00:47:05.760 --> 00:47:08.800
don't know if it's still an active program, but I would.

813
00:47:08.599 --> 00:47:09.039
Say it is.

814
00:47:09.199 --> 00:47:12.880
Oh, it is okay, Oh yeah, yeah, that's great.

815
00:47:13.039 --> 00:47:16.199
I would recommend you know, if listeners are in that

816
00:47:16.320 --> 00:47:20.199
area of Greenfield, Massachusetts, and they're wanting to like really

817
00:47:20.320 --> 00:47:24.880
get into nature and get some serious skills, you need

818
00:47:24.920 --> 00:47:27.800
to look into the OLP program in Greenfield, Massachusetts.

819
00:47:27.800 --> 00:47:28.920
It is incredible.

820
00:47:29.400 --> 00:47:33.360
I've heard over the years so and it's I went

821
00:47:33.360 --> 00:47:35.519
to college there for a few dures years in high

822
00:47:35.519 --> 00:47:39.199
school and it was the wild Peace too.

823
00:47:39.239 --> 00:47:41.920
I stayed on to GCC a couple of years after

824
00:47:41.960 --> 00:47:44.360
the OLP just because I loved the college and the

825
00:47:44.360 --> 00:47:48.559
people that were there and just a wonderful little community.

826
00:47:49.079 --> 00:47:52.440
It is. It's it's a fun time. Beth.

827
00:47:52.480 --> 00:47:54.119
I want to make sure that you were able to

828
00:47:54.719 --> 00:47:57.599
share everything that you had come on the show to

829
00:47:57.639 --> 00:47:58.280
share today.

830
00:47:59.400 --> 00:48:03.679
Absolutely awesome and more and more. Hey, there you go,

831
00:48:03.920 --> 00:48:05.000
perfect Thank.

832
00:48:04.800 --> 00:48:05.559
You, Jeremiah.

833
00:48:05.639 --> 00:48:09.719
This was very validating and it was wonderful talking with you.

834
00:48:09.840 --> 00:48:11.639
Good luck with your show and your health.

835
00:48:12.079 --> 00:48:14.199
Thank you so much. Hither her are you?

836
00:48:15.519 --> 00:48:15.679
Hey?

837
00:48:15.719 --> 00:48:18.719
How's it going? Man? Hey? Doing good? Feel free to

838
00:48:18.760 --> 00:48:19.760
share what's going on?

839
00:48:19.800 --> 00:48:20.000
Man?

840
00:48:21.320 --> 00:48:23.840
Okay, well, like where do you want me to kind

841
00:48:23.840 --> 00:48:24.239
of begin?

842
00:48:25.760 --> 00:48:30.079
Let's start at I think all good stories start the beginning.

843
00:48:30.639 --> 00:48:35.800
All right, Yeah, okay, I mean, look like I'm sure

844
00:48:35.840 --> 00:48:38.920
with most people, like I think, you know, when you

845
00:48:39.000 --> 00:48:41.559
start hearing about this stuff, you're like, I don't know,

846
00:48:41.719 --> 00:48:46.599
you know, it's kind of like a joke whatever, And yeah,

847
00:48:46.639 --> 00:48:48.119
I mean it was kind of like that too, right,

848
00:48:48.199 --> 00:48:50.239
Like I had seen some stuff online and I'm like,

849
00:48:50.559 --> 00:48:52.519
I mean, it would be cool if that's real, but

850
00:48:52.559 --> 00:48:53.639
like I never really like.

851
00:48:54.119 --> 00:48:55.280
Put any thought into it.

852
00:48:56.400 --> 00:48:59.480
And then yeah, and then just like randomly, like this

853
00:48:59.519 --> 00:49:03.679
one time, going hiking with a buddy and right in

854
00:49:03.679 --> 00:49:05.840
the middle of a trail, we see this like giant

855
00:49:05.880 --> 00:49:10.119
like print, right and it literally looks like I don't know,

856
00:49:10.239 --> 00:49:13.920
like Shaquille O'Neill's like bare footprint bigger but bigger, like

857
00:49:13.960 --> 00:49:15.119
I have a size twelve.

858
00:49:15.159 --> 00:49:17.280
I put it next to it and it was like

859
00:49:17.800 --> 00:49:19.199
not even close, you know.

860
00:49:21.320 --> 00:49:24.119
So yeah, we're both kind of like dumbfounded, right, we're

861
00:49:24.159 --> 00:49:27.239
looking around, we see nothing else, Like I don't see

862
00:49:27.239 --> 00:49:29.599
another print, and this is like right in the middle

863
00:49:29.599 --> 00:49:30.159
of the trail.

864
00:49:30.239 --> 00:49:31.800
So I found that weird.

865
00:49:32.719 --> 00:49:35.559
And I think at that point and again, like there's

866
00:49:35.599 --> 00:49:37.519
been a lot of things that have happened since then,

867
00:49:37.599 --> 00:49:40.920
and my timelines are kind of mixed up, so I

868
00:49:40.920 --> 00:49:43.400
can't remember now, like off the top of my head,

869
00:49:43.440 --> 00:49:48.280
like what happened first or whatever, But that's obviously memorable.

870
00:49:48.639 --> 00:49:54.119
I'll just say it's a northern Ontario, Canada, gotcha when

871
00:49:54.159 --> 00:49:59.199
that happened. But I've had other experiences also in California

872
00:49:59.239 --> 00:50:04.320
because I go back and forth sometimes anyway. So yeah,

873
00:50:04.320 --> 00:50:07.159
so later on on that hike where we saw the print,

874
00:50:07.920 --> 00:50:11.320
so you know, we're kind of up on so we

875
00:50:11.400 --> 00:50:14.079
reached like this lookout right, it's like in the middle.

876
00:50:14.199 --> 00:50:15.679
This is a loop trail.

877
00:50:15.760 --> 00:50:19.960
It's about i'd say, like eight miles let's say, and

878
00:50:20.599 --> 00:50:23.079
around the middle there's this cool lookout right where you're

879
00:50:23.159 --> 00:50:25.519
kind of looking down at lakes and stuff like that,

880
00:50:25.519 --> 00:50:28.480
because it's like lake country up there. And when we

881
00:50:28.480 --> 00:50:31.000
get to the top, we're like exhausted, right. This is

882
00:50:31.079 --> 00:50:34.840
again halfway through, so maybe four miles in a little

883
00:50:34.880 --> 00:50:37.000
bit of incline, and we're just sitting there. We're like,

884
00:50:37.039 --> 00:50:39.320
all right, let's just like stay quiet and just like

885
00:50:39.400 --> 00:50:41.320
take it all in. Let's like lay down and just

886
00:50:41.320 --> 00:50:43.719
like chill out for a bit to ourselves have a moment,

887
00:50:44.280 --> 00:50:46.679
because we were talking the whole way up anyway, so

888
00:50:46.719 --> 00:50:49.119
we want to like take it all in. And when

889
00:50:49.159 --> 00:50:51.519
we do that, like a minute into just sitting there

890
00:50:51.559 --> 00:50:54.400
and like not meditating but just chilling out and being quiet,

891
00:50:54.559 --> 00:50:58.199
we literally hear like it's like something is like walking

892
00:50:58.960 --> 00:51:03.800
around like around us. So I'm thinking immediately bear, you know.

893
00:51:05.000 --> 00:51:08.199
But you know, so we start we're like we're freaked out, right,

894
00:51:08.280 --> 00:51:10.880
we have our hiking polls and we're like ready for something,

895
00:51:11.239 --> 00:51:13.440
but we're like backed up to the cliff, right, so

896
00:51:13.480 --> 00:51:15.119
we're kind of worried. We're like, if this is a

897
00:51:15.159 --> 00:51:17.760
bear and it charges us, like we're going off the cliff,

898
00:51:17.960 --> 00:51:23.280
you know. So anyway, so we're like talking, We're like

899
00:51:23.320 --> 00:51:25.360
trying to make sure we're like hey, bear, you know whatever,

900
00:51:25.400 --> 00:51:28.159
all that kind of stuff. But this is so weird

901
00:51:28.159 --> 00:51:30.320
because like a bear usually I don't think it would

902
00:51:30.320 --> 00:51:33.760
sound like that. This literally sounded like a dude walking

903
00:51:33.920 --> 00:51:41.679
step by step by step very slowly and like meticulously,

904
00:51:41.840 --> 00:51:44.280
you know what I mean. And we couldn't see anything,

905
00:51:44.360 --> 00:51:47.880
but it was like kind of loud, you know, and

906
00:51:47.960 --> 00:51:50.679
I'm looking around the bushes. I don't see anything. He doesn't.

907
00:51:50.719 --> 00:51:53.360
My buddy doesn't see anything, and then it just like goes,

908
00:51:53.400 --> 00:51:56.199
it stops right and we're like okay, and then, you know,

909
00:51:56.599 --> 00:51:58.880
so we were freaked out and we kind of just

910
00:51:58.960 --> 00:52:02.199
like are making our way out as quickly as we can.

911
00:52:02.480 --> 00:52:05.119
And that was kind of that we haven't really talked about.

912
00:52:05.119 --> 00:52:06.719
I mean, I've asked my buddy. I'm like, hey, like

913
00:52:06.760 --> 00:52:09.639
do you remember that, you know, and he's just like

914
00:52:09.760 --> 00:52:11.639
he's like, yeah, that was weird, you know, but like

915
00:52:11.639 --> 00:52:15.599
he doesn't really like talk about it much. So that

916
00:52:15.760 --> 00:52:19.239
was that and then any questions so far should I

917
00:52:19.320 --> 00:52:19.639
keep going?

918
00:52:19.719 --> 00:52:23.679
So so that was all in Northern Ontario mm hmm, Yeah,

919
00:52:23.719 --> 00:52:24.599
that was the same trail.

920
00:52:25.119 --> 00:52:28.519
Okay, did you anything smell weird up there?

921
00:52:31.000 --> 00:52:34.079
I I didn't notice the smell or anything that time,

922
00:52:34.119 --> 00:52:36.559
but then there's also like you pass by swamps and

923
00:52:36.559 --> 00:52:38.599
it can smell a little different down there before you

924
00:52:38.599 --> 00:52:41.800
get to the top, so I can't recall any smells

925
00:52:41.880 --> 00:52:42.480
or anything.

926
00:52:43.000 --> 00:52:46.400
Were there any So the prints that you saw, did

927
00:52:46.400 --> 00:52:50.679
you notice any weird details about them?

928
00:52:50.760 --> 00:52:52.480
I mean, it's just like a huge It looked like

929
00:52:52.519 --> 00:52:55.800
a giant bearage. It's just a huge barefoot like you

930
00:52:55.800 --> 00:52:58.599
could clearly see like toes, you know what I mean.

931
00:52:58.639 --> 00:53:00.800
It wasn't It wasn't like a bear a double print

932
00:53:00.840 --> 00:53:03.199
like I've seen tons of bear prints in my life,

933
00:53:03.239 --> 00:53:04.599
you know, and I know the difference.

934
00:53:04.960 --> 00:53:07.079
Yeah, yeah, how many did it have?

935
00:53:08.119 --> 00:53:10.719
There's like human that had like five, you know, like

936
00:53:10.840 --> 00:53:14.960
it's like like ours, just giant, you know, absolutely, and

937
00:53:15.000 --> 00:53:17.800
it was like deep in you know, like and the

938
00:53:17.840 --> 00:53:20.400
heel was fat too, Like the heel wasn't like it

939
00:53:20.440 --> 00:53:22.960
didn't narrow out like the humans. It was more fat,

940
00:53:23.719 --> 00:53:26.960
but it was like deep compressed and it like, you know,

941
00:53:26.960 --> 00:53:28.719
it was a pretty dry day, so this might have

942
00:53:28.800 --> 00:53:29.280
been old.

943
00:53:29.400 --> 00:53:33.320
I don't know, but yeah, it was. It was huge. Man.

944
00:53:33.840 --> 00:53:37.199
There's been more stuff in Ontario two. Okay, so this

945
00:53:37.320 --> 00:53:41.840
other time I'm trying to think because there's two things.

946
00:53:41.840 --> 00:53:43.199
There's another track story.

947
00:53:43.199 --> 00:53:43.480
Okay.

948
00:53:43.519 --> 00:53:45.599
Yeah, so now it's like winter, right, and I don't

949
00:53:45.639 --> 00:53:47.239
know if you I don't know where do you live

950
00:53:47.599 --> 00:53:48.719
or do you live where there's.

951
00:53:49.480 --> 00:53:51.400
Yeah, well central Iowa, so we get snow.

952
00:53:51.480 --> 00:53:54.400
Yeah, all right, Well northern Ontario. Like when you go

953
00:53:54.480 --> 00:53:56.920
when you go up there, on the side of the roads,

954
00:53:57.639 --> 00:54:00.719
it gets the snow gets deep, like real deep, like

955
00:54:00.719 --> 00:54:03.039
when you pull off into like a logging road to go.

956
00:54:03.360 --> 00:54:05.960
You guys call it blm land up there, they call

957
00:54:06.000 --> 00:54:06.840
it Crown Land.

958
00:54:06.880 --> 00:54:08.840
Okay, it's the same thing, got it.

959
00:54:08.920 --> 00:54:11.039
And so you know when you go out there to

960
00:54:11.079 --> 00:54:13.960
try and find whatever, you know, a spot to camp.

961
00:54:14.079 --> 00:54:17.000
Anyway in the winter, the sides of the it will

962
00:54:17.039 --> 00:54:19.519
be plowed for a little bit, depending on what's going

963
00:54:19.559 --> 00:54:20.599
on in that area.

964
00:54:20.800 --> 00:54:24.320
But then after that you need like snowmobiles. Anyway.

965
00:54:24.360 --> 00:54:27.079
So I'm driving up north because you know, I'm just

966
00:54:27.880 --> 00:54:29.679
I love to drive. So I'm just up there and

967
00:54:29.719 --> 00:54:31.639
I'm like, all right, I'm gonna turn off this road

968
00:54:31.719 --> 00:54:33.840
and just like see what's going on and just chill,

969
00:54:34.400 --> 00:54:38.400
take a little break. So I pull off onto this

970
00:54:38.519 --> 00:54:40.519
road and it's just like an iced out because it's

971
00:54:40.559 --> 00:54:41.119
been plowed.

972
00:54:41.159 --> 00:54:44.480
And the sides you got to imagine there's like snow banks.

973
00:54:44.119 --> 00:54:48.360
That are like real high, right, and there's nothing but

974
00:54:48.480 --> 00:54:50.679
forest on each side, and like you know what, like

975
00:54:50.679 --> 00:54:53.000
a wintery forest looks like like you can kind of

976
00:54:53.039 --> 00:54:56.280
just they're bare. There's no leaves left anymore, so you

977
00:54:56.320 --> 00:54:58.800
can kind of see deep into the forest. But in

978
00:54:58.840 --> 00:55:02.760
the summer you wouldn't see like ten feet, you know. Anyway,

979
00:55:03.000 --> 00:55:06.119
So I'm looking out the side right at that point,

980
00:55:06.159 --> 00:55:08.199
like I used to smoke, I have'm having a cigarette.

981
00:55:08.199 --> 00:55:09.480
And then.

982
00:55:10.800 --> 00:55:12.440
I look out to one side and I see these

983
00:55:12.480 --> 00:55:15.519
like these tracks that look like almost like a snowshoe

984
00:55:15.639 --> 00:55:18.519
or something. But it's weird because like there's nothing there.

985
00:55:18.559 --> 00:55:22.760
There's no trails, nothing, And I'm like, okay, whatever, and

986
00:55:22.800 --> 00:55:24.639
then but like it, and then I look to the

987
00:55:24.679 --> 00:55:27.239
other side and the look of the road and it

988
00:55:27.280 --> 00:55:30.360
looks like they continue on the other side, and it's

989
00:55:30.400 --> 00:55:32.559
more clear to see on the other side, but they're

990
00:55:32.599 --> 00:55:37.559
like far apart, single file and huge, and this is

991
00:55:37.599 --> 00:55:40.119
deep snow, like no human can walk there, you know.

992
00:55:40.239 --> 00:55:43.199
And even if you had snowshoes, the snow shoes would

993
00:55:43.239 --> 00:55:45.400
like kick up a little bit of snow when you're walking,

994
00:55:45.440 --> 00:55:47.519
so it wouldn't be that clear. Like you're just like

995
00:55:48.320 --> 00:55:51.360
post holing in, you know what I mean, Like when

996
00:55:51.400 --> 00:55:54.320
you step in snow and your foot falls through, it's

997
00:55:54.400 --> 00:55:57.039
kind of yeah. Yeah, so if you're walking with snowshoes,

998
00:55:57.039 --> 00:55:58.920
that doesn't really happen. Like you kick up a bit

999
00:55:58.920 --> 00:56:01.599
of snow, it leaves a bit of a trail. This

1000
00:56:01.760 --> 00:56:04.360
was nothing like that, right, This is just like huge hole,

1001
00:56:05.480 --> 00:56:09.199
bit of space, huge hole. And I'm immediately I'm thinking, okay,

1002
00:56:09.239 --> 00:56:11.880
like maybe it's like a fox jumping, you know how

1003
00:56:11.880 --> 00:56:14.880
they hunt, or if it's like a rabbit or something

1004
00:56:14.920 --> 00:56:17.960
like that. But this was too big, and it continued

1005
00:56:18.000 --> 00:56:20.440
from one side of the road to the other and

1006
00:56:20.440 --> 00:56:22.719
then just off into the distance like I couldn't see

1007
00:56:22.760 --> 00:56:26.199
it anymore. So I'm like, okay, like this is weird,

1008
00:56:26.599 --> 00:56:29.480
right anyway, But again, this is like before I even

1009
00:56:29.559 --> 00:56:32.119
like was into this subject, right, so I didn't even

1010
00:56:32.159 --> 00:56:33.519
know what I was looking at at the time, Like

1011
00:56:33.599 --> 00:56:36.239
I'm recalling all this stuff like after the fact, right,

1012
00:56:36.440 --> 00:56:38.920
But now that I look back, I'm like, that was

1013
00:56:38.920 --> 00:56:41.880
so freaking weird. And then I looked it up online

1014
00:56:41.880 --> 00:56:44.679
and I saw these like snow prints in Russia that

1015
00:56:44.760 --> 00:56:47.440
looked almost exactly the same. I don't know if you've

1016
00:56:47.440 --> 00:56:48.280
seen that picture.

1017
00:56:49.079 --> 00:56:52.199
No, that sounds really interesting though, Yeah, if you.

1018
00:56:52.159 --> 00:56:54.119
Look up online, just put like I don't know, like

1019
00:56:54.159 --> 00:56:58.400
Bigfoot or sasquatch tracks Russia in the snow, it'll probably

1020
00:56:58.400 --> 00:57:02.760
come up and like it looked like that, right, Okay,

1021
00:57:02.800 --> 00:57:05.400
So that's like number two in northern Ontario. The third

1022
00:57:05.440 --> 00:57:08.599
thing is uh and this was like probably the weirdest.

1023
00:57:09.599 --> 00:57:12.800
So we're up camping in this like Crown Land, right,

1024
00:57:12.840 --> 00:57:15.679
which is Blm Land, and in order to get there

1025
00:57:15.800 --> 00:57:18.400
you need it's only you can only access this spot

1026
00:57:18.440 --> 00:57:22.400
by water. So basically we get dropped because there's a

1027
00:57:22.480 --> 00:57:24.880
marina at this main lake and then it drops you

1028
00:57:24.920 --> 00:57:28.960
off deep right like you you can paddle there too,

1029
00:57:29.039 --> 00:57:31.480
but like it takes hours to paddle, so we just

1030
00:57:31.559 --> 00:57:34.639
chose to get ferried out there and dropped off and

1031
00:57:34.639 --> 00:57:37.559
then they come pick you up in a few days. Anyway,

1032
00:57:37.599 --> 00:57:40.960
so we get dropped off as soon as we land there.

1033
00:57:41.440 --> 00:57:44.679
And this is after now time has passed. So I'm

1034
00:57:44.719 --> 00:57:47.599
already into like the Bigfoot subject, right, Like I've already

1035
00:57:47.679 --> 00:57:50.320
like looked into things a bit, so there's certain things

1036
00:57:50.320 --> 00:57:53.000
that I like recognize or I think I recognize.

1037
00:57:53.320 --> 00:57:57.320
Anyway, we get dropped off, Okay, before I.

1038
00:57:57.280 --> 00:57:59.280
Continue, Sorry, man, I know this is a little all

1039
00:57:59.320 --> 00:58:01.920
over the place, like when it comes to like what's

1040
00:58:01.960 --> 00:58:03.920
your belief on this stuff? Like are you kind of

1041
00:58:03.960 --> 00:58:05.920
like fleshed and blood thing or do you think there's

1042
00:58:06.000 --> 00:58:09.119
like weird paranormal like what's going on with you?

1043
00:58:09.920 --> 00:58:12.800
So what I think is I go off of what

1044
00:58:12.840 --> 00:58:16.199
I've experienced, and I think we're dealing with something that

1045
00:58:16.360 --> 00:58:21.079
is let me just say the whole thing. So it's

1046
00:58:21.079 --> 00:58:23.280
something that can leave tracks, but it can do weird

1047
00:58:23.320 --> 00:58:27.159
stuff that science can't explain, because I've experienced some weird

1048
00:58:27.159 --> 00:58:31.639
stuff that science can't explain. So yeah, you can find tracks,

1049
00:58:31.760 --> 00:58:36.079
but also there's something out there where if you say, hey,

1050
00:58:36.199 --> 00:58:39.480
make a noise, it makes a noise back to you.

1051
00:58:39.480 --> 00:58:42.880
You know what I mean? Right, So that that's where

1052
00:58:42.920 --> 00:58:46.239
I'm at, gotcha? Okay, yep. Yeah.

1053
00:58:46.320 --> 00:58:48.199
So anyway, so we get dropped off at this like

1054
00:58:48.320 --> 00:58:51.480
remote camping spot I guess you can call it. It's

1055
00:58:51.480 --> 00:58:53.440
just like a cleared out area next to a lake

1056
00:58:53.519 --> 00:58:58.039
and so it's a river basically. And then this is

1057
00:58:58.079 --> 00:59:04.760
like five guys anyway camping and then that night oh sorry,

1058
00:59:04.800 --> 00:59:06.639
So as soon as we land, I see like this

1059
00:59:06.760 --> 00:59:11.239
weird like green marble in the middle of uh, like

1060
00:59:11.280 --> 00:59:13.239
where we get dropped off right, and it's like, why

1061
00:59:13.320 --> 00:59:16.440
the I'm not gonna put too much stock into that because, like,

1062
00:59:16.480 --> 00:59:19.239
I guess somebody could bring that camping, but it's really weird.

1063
00:59:19.280 --> 00:59:21.880
Like I don't know why anybody would bring marbles camping.

1064
00:59:21.960 --> 00:59:25.360
It's like a weird marble thing right. Anyway, I don't

1065
00:59:25.400 --> 00:59:27.639
touch it or anything. I just like look at it.

1066
00:59:27.679 --> 00:59:28.679
I'm like, okay, that's weird.

1067
00:59:28.719 --> 00:59:34.679
Whatever. Anyway, first night goes by nothing. Uh. Second night

1068
00:59:34.840 --> 00:59:35.920
it's like drizzling.

1069
00:59:35.920 --> 00:59:38.519
We're all going to bed, and I hear in the

1070
00:59:38.639 --> 00:59:42.119
distance it sounds like I can't make it out. It's

1071
00:59:42.119 --> 00:59:44.719
like and this is across the lake but far down

1072
00:59:45.760 --> 00:59:47.480
and I hear what I think it sounds like a

1073
00:59:47.519 --> 00:59:51.239
hound dog or something. It's like hoo like and I

1074
00:59:51.280 --> 00:59:54.400
don't know what it is. And I'm like, okay, that's weird.

1075
00:59:54.440 --> 00:59:56.840
And it's drizzling. We're all in our tents. I'm usually

1076
00:59:56.840 --> 00:59:59.719
the last one to sleep right, Like, I don't sleep easily,

1077
00:59:59.800 --> 01:00:02.400
so everyone's passed out for sure, after you know, some

1078
01:00:02.559 --> 01:00:06.000
drinking and all that. Anyway, so I hear it down

1079
01:00:06.039 --> 01:00:08.599
there and it's moving closer so it makes the sound

1080
01:00:09.320 --> 01:00:12.480
and then literally like ten fifteen seconds later, you hear

1081
01:00:12.519 --> 01:00:15.920
the sound and it's making its way closer, and then

1082
01:00:16.000 --> 01:00:19.480
again closer, and then again closer. And as it's getting

1083
01:00:19.480 --> 01:00:21.760
closer now I'm like, okay, that isn't a dog or

1084
01:00:21.800 --> 01:00:24.519
a hound dog. First of all, there's no like cabins

1085
01:00:24.559 --> 01:00:26.840
back there. There's no trails on the opposite side of

1086
01:00:26.880 --> 01:00:29.760
the river. This is like barren land. So I'm like,

1087
01:00:29.800 --> 01:00:32.320
what is that, you know, And as it's getting closer,

1088
01:00:32.320 --> 01:00:35.159
I'm like, hey, that sounds kind of like an owl. Okay,

1089
01:00:35.559 --> 01:00:37.519
And I've heard about the owl stuff and this is

1090
01:00:37.599 --> 01:00:40.320
kind of like it matches up right, But this didn't

1091
01:00:40.360 --> 01:00:42.960
sound like an owl like it. It sounded like a

1092
01:00:43.119 --> 01:00:45.960
like an eight hundred. It was huge, dude, like, it

1093
01:00:46.039 --> 01:00:49.920
sounded so weird. It was like hoo hoo, hoo hoo,

1094
01:00:50.000 --> 01:00:55.400
Like imagine like you're imagine like a big like dude

1095
01:00:55.800 --> 01:00:57.840
is like trying to mimic an out Like that's kind

1096
01:00:57.840 --> 01:01:00.920
of like what I'm thinking. It sounded like, right, and anyway,

1097
01:01:01.119 --> 01:01:03.960
so imagine it across the lake far. I first hear it,

1098
01:01:03.960 --> 01:01:07.320
and it's coming closer. Ten twenty seconds later, I hear

1099
01:01:07.360 --> 01:01:10.800
it again, closer. I hear it again closer, I hear

1100
01:01:10.840 --> 01:01:14.280
it again, coming closer. I hear it one last time

1101
01:01:14.480 --> 01:01:18.159
when it's directly across from where we're camping, so across

1102
01:01:18.239 --> 01:01:21.800
this wide river on the opposite side of the land,

1103
01:01:22.360 --> 01:01:25.320
directly across from our campsite. I hear it one last time,

1104
01:01:25.400 --> 01:01:28.400
and then I hear one little sharp whistle behind where

1105
01:01:28.400 --> 01:01:32.039
we're camping on our side, and I'm like, what was

1106
01:01:32.119 --> 01:01:35.840
going on? Like, so it's in my mind at that point,

1107
01:01:35.880 --> 01:01:39.320
I'm like something is like literally literally like thinking back,

1108
01:01:40.000 --> 01:01:43.000
because when you're in it right, like it's hard to

1109
01:01:43.039 --> 01:01:45.519
like think about all this stuff. But like looking back,

1110
01:01:45.599 --> 01:01:47.840
it almost it almost felt like this thing was like

1111
01:01:48.880 --> 01:01:51.280
on one side like making its way down and it's

1112
01:01:51.320 --> 01:01:53.360
like okay, it makes the final call, and then the

1113
01:01:53.360 --> 01:01:56.199
one on the other side is like, they're here. You know.

1114
01:01:56.320 --> 01:02:02.039
It's like we found like we located them type of thing. Anyway,

1115
01:02:02.119 --> 01:02:04.079
So I'm like, what is that? And then that's it,

1116
01:02:04.119 --> 01:02:06.760
Like the noise stop, like there was nothing else after that.

1117
01:02:07.840 --> 01:02:10.760
So yeah, that was that experience, dude.

1118
01:02:10.800 --> 01:02:14.679
I can't imagine I've never been an experience where I've

1119
01:02:14.719 --> 01:02:16.000
heard more than one.

1120
01:02:17.360 --> 01:02:21.000
That's gotta be freaky. Yeah, it was.

1121
01:02:21.159 --> 01:02:23.400
It was wild and it was like raining a little bit,

1122
01:02:23.440 --> 01:02:25.199
you know, like you could kind of hear the drizzal

1123
01:02:25.320 --> 01:02:28.199
on the tent. The other dudes are passed out. I

1124
01:02:28.239 --> 01:02:29.719
asked them the next day. I'm like, Yo, did you

1125
01:02:29.719 --> 01:02:30.280
guys hear that?

1126
01:02:30.599 --> 01:02:32.360
Hear that? And they're like no, like what are you

1127
01:02:32.400 --> 01:02:35.679
talking about? Anyway? So nobody else heard it but me.

1128
01:02:37.320 --> 01:02:42.760
I'm not crazy, Okay, no, definitely, Yeah, anyway, that was

1129
01:02:43.119 --> 01:02:48.239
experienced too. And then the freakiest experience I've ever had

1130
01:02:48.519 --> 01:02:51.320
was again Northern Ontario. This is another site where you

1131
01:02:51.440 --> 01:02:55.039
need to paddle out to with a canoe. There's no

1132
01:02:55.199 --> 01:02:58.840
dropping off or anything. You need to basically canoe out

1133
01:02:58.880 --> 01:03:02.440
to your spot with your buddies, set up camp and whatever.

1134
01:03:03.320 --> 01:03:08.840
So you know, we set up our camp. Yeah, this

1135
01:03:08.880 --> 01:03:11.360
one was terrifying. Dude, like this one, like you know

1136
01:03:11.400 --> 01:03:14.639
when people talk about the the fear that they'll set

1137
01:03:14.679 --> 01:03:19.719
in that that was this is that experience, right, And basically,

1138
01:03:19.760 --> 01:03:27.199
so we're sitting there and yeah, so we're around the campfire,

1139
01:03:27.239 --> 01:03:28.960
it's dark, and then all of a sudden, we hear

1140
01:03:29.000 --> 01:03:32.800
like rustling like off to our like left, and I'm like, hey, like,

1141
01:03:32.880 --> 01:03:34.360
did you guys hear that? And I think one of

1142
01:03:34.360 --> 01:03:36.599
my buddies said, yeah, like, did you guys hear that too,

1143
01:03:36.800 --> 01:03:38.719
you know. Anyway, so we get up and we point

1144
01:03:38.760 --> 01:03:42.760
our flash lights there nothing. We sit back down, and

1145
01:03:42.800 --> 01:03:48.559
then we hear we hear rustling again, and then we

1146
01:03:48.599 --> 01:03:50.480
get up and we point our lights there again. We

1147
01:03:50.599 --> 01:03:52.920
take a couple steps forward, and like when we take

1148
01:03:52.960 --> 01:03:57.000
a couple steps forward, it sounds like a freight train

1149
01:03:57.280 --> 01:04:00.920
is literally charging through the through the through the bushes

1150
01:04:01.000 --> 01:04:04.679
towards us. And I at that point, like my instinct

1151
01:04:04.719 --> 01:04:06.960
just kicks in. I think it's like I don't know

1152
01:04:07.000 --> 01:04:09.239
what I'm thinking. At that time, I'm like moose bear,

1153
01:04:09.400 --> 01:04:13.880
something freaking huge is running through and it's pissed, and

1154
01:04:13.920 --> 01:04:16.280
I'm just like hey, like as loud as I can,

1155
01:04:16.519 --> 01:04:18.599
as loud as I can, right, and then.

1156
01:04:20.760 --> 01:04:21.119
It's it.

1157
01:04:21.360 --> 01:04:24.079
And then when I did that, the weirdest thing is

1158
01:04:24.119 --> 01:04:27.199
this thing goes from sounding like it's eight hundred pounds

1159
01:04:28.039 --> 01:04:31.280
just bulldozing through the woods to scurrying off like a

1160
01:04:31.320 --> 01:04:33.159
little like if you've ever seen like a horror movie,

1161
01:04:33.199 --> 01:04:35.639
like a little like Tarantula or something like like you.

1162
01:04:35.599 --> 01:04:39.440
Know, like running off. No way. Really, it went.

1163
01:04:39.239 --> 01:04:42.480
From a bulldozer going through the woods to like that

1164
01:04:42.679 --> 01:04:45.440
like like a little like rat or something scurring off,

1165
01:04:45.480 --> 01:04:48.320
like it made a beeline and it was gone and

1166
01:04:48.480 --> 01:04:51.880
silence and then nothing. And then after that we're like,

1167
01:04:51.960 --> 01:04:52.920
what was going on?

1168
01:04:53.079 --> 01:04:53.199
Right?

1169
01:04:53.320 --> 01:04:57.360
So we just sit down at that point, you know,

1170
01:04:57.440 --> 01:04:59.559
we're we're starting to like we're just sitting down.

1171
01:04:59.559 --> 01:05:00.519
We don't know what going on.

1172
01:05:00.559 --> 01:05:03.360
And that's when like the fear sets in, like you know,

1173
01:05:03.599 --> 01:05:05.960
and I had already been looking into the subject a

1174
01:05:05.960 --> 01:05:08.800
little bit at that point, so I'm like, is this

1175
01:05:09.039 --> 01:05:10.800
like what I think it is, you know, because like

1176
01:05:10.840 --> 01:05:12.599
I wasn't really like fully into it.

1177
01:05:13.880 --> 01:05:16.000
But yeah, we're sitting there like terrified.

1178
01:05:16.159 --> 01:05:18.679
One of my buddies, he's just kind of out to lunch,

1179
01:05:18.760 --> 01:05:21.079
you know, like he goes to he's likeah, whatever.

1180
01:05:20.800 --> 01:05:22.800
It's nothing, you know, and he goes to sleep.

1181
01:05:24.639 --> 01:05:27.480
Anyway, and we're like, after about an hour of sitting

1182
01:05:27.480 --> 01:05:31.840
there in silence, we're like, okay, like maybe maybe it's nothing,

1183
01:05:31.920 --> 01:05:35.480
Like maybe we we just you know, just go to sleep.

1184
01:05:35.519 --> 01:05:39.000
So we go into our tents, and of course, again

1185
01:05:39.039 --> 01:05:41.280
I'm always like the last one to like fall asleep.

1186
01:05:42.599 --> 01:05:45.519
And as I'm trying to fall asleep and I'm kind

1187
01:05:45.559 --> 01:05:50.480
of still thinking about it. I literally hear like I

1188
01:05:50.480 --> 01:05:53.840
have this like thought, like you're safe, dude, just relax,

1189
01:05:54.000 --> 01:05:56.079
you know. But it was but when I heard that,

1190
01:05:58.960 --> 01:06:02.360
I'm like, I was immediately woken up, Like it was

1191
01:06:02.400 --> 01:06:04.400
like I was about to sleep and then I hear that,

1192
01:06:04.519 --> 01:06:07.719
and I immediately woke up because I was like, is

1193
01:06:07.760 --> 01:06:09.599
this thing like trying to trick me or something like,

1194
01:06:09.679 --> 01:06:12.119
because it wasn't like I wasn't thinking that, like why

1195
01:06:12.159 --> 01:06:16.039
would I wouldn't. It was so weird, honestly, and I

1196
01:06:16.039 --> 01:06:17.679
don't know, like, you know, I hear it like about

1197
01:06:17.880 --> 01:06:19.639
you know, I've looked into it since, and then people

1198
01:06:19.679 --> 01:06:23.840
talk about like whatever the mind speak the telepathy, like

1199
01:06:23.880 --> 01:06:26.480
I don't know right, like I don't know what it was,

1200
01:06:26.559 --> 01:06:30.119
but it was so weird that it woke me up

1201
01:06:30.840 --> 01:06:33.800
and I got out of my tent immediately, and I

1202
01:06:33.920 --> 01:06:37.360
woke up the other guys. One guy he was done

1203
01:06:37.400 --> 01:06:39.119
like he was probably drank too much, like he was

1204
01:06:39.159 --> 01:06:42.159
he was so tiredy and he didn't get up. So

1205
01:06:42.199 --> 01:06:44.360
one of my buddies gets out, I'm like, dude, And

1206
01:06:44.440 --> 01:06:46.800
at that point I didn't want to say like, because

1207
01:06:46.880 --> 01:06:48.639
I had kind of looked into this subject. But I

1208
01:06:48.639 --> 01:06:51.199
didn't want to seem like crazy, you know. I'm not like, oh, look, dude,

1209
01:06:51.239 --> 01:06:53.679
it's like you know, sacksquatch or whatever or something, because

1210
01:06:53.719 --> 01:06:56.599
I don't I don't know right right, So I'm like, dude,

1211
01:06:56.599 --> 01:06:58.960
they're back, like whatever it is is back. So I'm like,

1212
01:07:00.039 --> 01:07:01.639
get out of the tent, you know. So he comes

1213
01:07:01.679 --> 01:07:05.199
out of the tent. We're running out of firewood. So

1214
01:07:05.199 --> 01:07:08.960
we immediately start like making, you know, sawing up more

1215
01:07:08.960 --> 01:07:11.760
wood because I'm like, we're not going to sleep again,

1216
01:07:11.920 --> 01:07:14.679
like it's that's a wrap, you know, Like we're leaving.

1217
01:07:14.840 --> 01:07:16.960
As soon as there's light. We're getting in the canoes.

1218
01:07:17.000 --> 01:07:20.119
And we're because we can't leave now because we canoed there,

1219
01:07:21.679 --> 01:07:23.679
you know what I mean. So I'm like, as soon

1220
01:07:23.719 --> 01:07:25.280
as there's light, we're getting out of here.

1221
01:07:25.360 --> 01:07:25.719
Anyway.

1222
01:07:25.800 --> 01:07:29.920
So we saw more wood all night and uh yeah,

1223
01:07:29.960 --> 01:07:33.159
and then again we didn't hear anything for the rest

1224
01:07:33.199 --> 01:07:35.320
of the night. But there was that terror, dude, Like

1225
01:07:35.360 --> 01:07:38.880
I've never experienced fear like that in my life.

1226
01:07:40.400 --> 01:07:40.679
Dude.

1227
01:07:41.400 --> 01:07:43.960
It was so weird, man, And like, yeah, and my

1228
01:07:44.039 --> 01:07:46.039
buddy was feeling it too, but like you know, he

1229
01:07:46.079 --> 01:07:49.679
probably won't admit it, but yeah, it was so weird

1230
01:07:49.760 --> 01:07:52.840
and in my head, I'm thinking like the whole time, like, dude,

1231
01:07:52.880 --> 01:07:55.840
even just thinking about it, I'm getting like, you know,

1232
01:07:56.039 --> 01:07:58.920
I've told this story before, but like to people that

1233
01:07:58.960 --> 01:08:01.880
are close to me, but like now, I don't know,

1234
01:08:02.119 --> 01:08:05.519
like I'm just like kind of reliving it. It's it's creepy, dude,

1235
01:08:05.559 --> 01:08:09.880
and like, yeah, so like when this is going on,

1236
01:08:09.960 --> 01:08:11.840
we're sitting around the fire, you know, you have that

1237
01:08:11.920 --> 01:08:15.920
fear like the whole time. In my head, I'm just thinking, like, dude,

1238
01:08:15.960 --> 01:08:19.359
like if because I'm thinking is this sasquatchaw? In my head,

1239
01:08:19.399 --> 01:08:22.000
I'm trying to think like if we pissed you off,

1240
01:08:22.079 --> 01:08:25.239
like I'm sorry and we will leave here in the morning,

1241
01:08:25.319 --> 01:08:29.600
like just leave us alone, please, you know, because you know,

1242
01:08:29.640 --> 01:08:31.800
we're just a bunch of guys camping, like we could

1243
01:08:31.800 --> 01:08:34.199
have been maybe a little too rowdy, like I don't know,

1244
01:08:34.319 --> 01:08:36.840
Like yeah, I'm thinking, like did we piss something off?

1245
01:08:37.000 --> 01:08:39.640
Like you know, I have no idea, right.

1246
01:08:41.760 --> 01:08:44.640
Yeah, that's dude, I'll tell you man, that's one of

1247
01:08:44.720 --> 01:08:48.560
the freakier ones I've heard in a while. And just

1248
01:08:48.560 --> 01:08:54.600
just the thought of it going from a bulldozer into

1249
01:08:54.640 --> 01:08:58.520
something scurrying around like a mouse like that, or something

1250
01:08:58.560 --> 01:09:01.039
that doesn't make a lot of noise is wild.

1251
01:09:03.479 --> 01:09:09.880
Like lightning speed b line and then silence. Yeah. Do

1252
01:09:10.680 --> 01:09:14.159
you think you experience something like telepathy that day?

1253
01:09:14.279 --> 01:09:18.800
Or I don't know, honestly, I don't know, Like I

1254
01:09:19.000 --> 01:09:22.000
don't know if I was trying to convince myself like hey, bro,

1255
01:09:22.119 --> 01:09:23.800
like you're fine, just go to sleep, Like I don't

1256
01:09:23.800 --> 01:09:27.359
know if I was thinking it. All I know is

1257
01:09:27.359 --> 01:09:29.560
that I was about to fall asleep and then I

1258
01:09:29.640 --> 01:09:32.039
had that thought and I thought it was really weird,

1259
01:09:33.159 --> 01:09:36.319
and I woke up like fully, So.

1260
01:09:36.880 --> 01:09:40.720
Let me tell you this just to say I've experienced

1261
01:09:40.720 --> 01:09:43.239
something like that too, in an area where it was

1262
01:09:43.279 --> 01:09:47.000
in a cabin and known for a lot of activity

1263
01:09:47.199 --> 01:09:50.239
and almost like you're almost asleep, so you're in that

1264
01:09:50.359 --> 01:09:54.760
like twilight zone and heard a voice and that the

1265
01:09:54.840 --> 01:09:56.800
voice is like gotcha, and I was like I'm out

1266
01:09:56.840 --> 01:09:58.640
of here, and I was like went to the group.

1267
01:09:58.680 --> 01:10:00.439
I was like, I don't know what that was. But

1268
01:10:01.479 --> 01:10:04.960
just just to say I've if you're a lot of

1269
01:10:05.000 --> 01:10:06.520
people are like I don't know if I'm crazy or not.

1270
01:10:06.600 --> 01:10:10.399
You're not crazy, dude, Yeah, no, I know I'm not.

1271
01:10:11.039 --> 01:10:12.760
You know what I mean, like, yeah, it's just I

1272
01:10:12.800 --> 01:10:15.039
know how it sounds to people that are not like

1273
01:10:15.279 --> 01:10:19.520
who have never heard or experienced anything, like, because if

1274
01:10:19.560 --> 01:10:22.359
I hadn't and somebody told me this, I would have

1275
01:10:22.359 --> 01:10:24.880
been like, yeah, okay, bro, you know whatever.

1276
01:10:25.600 --> 01:10:27.720
It's it's a whole other it's a whole other world,

1277
01:10:27.960 --> 01:10:29.680
you know world.

1278
01:10:29.760 --> 01:10:32.720
Yeah, dude, I'm like, I'm kind of like shaking even

1279
01:10:32.760 --> 01:10:34.760
just telling this story. It's so weird, like because I've

1280
01:10:35.039 --> 01:10:38.239
told this before and I never experienced this, you know.

1281
01:10:38.399 --> 01:10:38.800
I don't know.

1282
01:10:38.800 --> 01:10:42.119
Maybe it's because like I've never said it on a platform,

1283
01:10:42.159 --> 01:10:45.159
you know what I mean. But anyway, so yeah, that

1284
01:10:45.319 --> 01:10:49.800
was the creepiest one. Fast forward to you know, I'm

1285
01:10:49.880 --> 01:10:57.279
hiking in California and this is up north northern California Redwoods. Again,

1286
01:10:57.319 --> 01:11:00.239
I don't want to give this specific location because they

1287
01:11:00.279 --> 01:11:03.520
have enough of that stuff going on already. End, I

1288
01:11:03.560 --> 01:11:05.960
get it, you know, I don't want to like ruin spots,

1289
01:11:06.000 --> 01:11:06.279
you know.

1290
01:11:06.640 --> 01:11:07.439
Right right.

1291
01:11:09.079 --> 01:11:13.800
Anyway, So yeah, I'm hiking with my with my wife

1292
01:11:14.319 --> 01:11:18.760
right at that time, we're engaged and it's raining. There's

1293
01:11:18.800 --> 01:11:21.159
like the redwoods. It looks like you're in Jurassic Park,

1294
01:11:21.560 --> 01:11:26.399
you know, like this place is beautiful, and we're like

1295
01:11:26.479 --> 01:11:28.239
it's getting to like the point in the trail. This

1296
01:11:28.319 --> 01:11:30.600
is an out and back, so we're like almost towards

1297
01:11:30.600 --> 01:11:34.760
the end. We're taking a little break, and all of

1298
01:11:34.800 --> 01:11:38.159
a sudden in the distance, I hear you know, the knocking,

1299
01:11:38.720 --> 01:11:44.319
the like you know, stereotypical like with tree knocks, and

1300
01:11:44.359 --> 01:11:46.239
I'm like, what the Like At first, I'm thinking like,

1301
01:11:46.399 --> 01:11:49.119
is there like construction going on, like because and then

1302
01:11:49.159 --> 01:11:51.199
I look at a map of the park, you know,

1303
01:11:51.359 --> 01:11:55.079
just to see, Okay, is there like is there like

1304
01:11:55.680 --> 01:11:57.760
where does the park boundary end? And are there like

1305
01:11:57.800 --> 01:11:59.800
homes or is there like some sort of like city,

1306
01:11:59.800 --> 01:12:01.399
but it like, you know what I mean, I'm trying

1307
01:12:01.399 --> 01:12:04.680
to see what's going on behind right right to see

1308
01:12:05.039 --> 01:12:06.880
to kind of see like where we are, but like

1309
01:12:07.479 --> 01:12:09.920
where the sound was coming from, there is nothing like

1310
01:12:10.000 --> 01:12:13.840
this is not construction going on. So the only other

1311
01:12:13.920 --> 01:12:17.439
explanation for that is either there was somebody else on

1312
01:12:17.520 --> 01:12:20.920
the trail doing that, like another human trying to go

1313
01:12:21.039 --> 01:12:24.079
bigfoot hunting or something, or we actually heard that. So

1314
01:12:24.199 --> 01:12:28.239
I don't know, but we heard that. It was very

1315
01:12:28.279 --> 01:12:32.039
early on the trail. There was only one other car,

1316
01:12:32.079 --> 01:12:35.479
which is why I say, maybe the possibility is that

1317
01:12:35.520 --> 01:12:39.800
there is somebody doing that, so you know, you can't

1318
01:12:39.880 --> 01:12:42.840
rule that out right, but but that's what we heard.

1319
01:12:43.319 --> 01:12:44.920
And it was just one of those days where the

1320
01:12:44.920 --> 01:12:47.760
weather was just like dreary turned you know, it was

1321
01:12:47.800 --> 01:12:51.119
just rainy. You look around and you're like, this is

1322
01:12:51.159 --> 01:12:54.399
like the stereotypical spot where something would happen, you know

1323
01:12:54.439 --> 01:12:55.119
what I mean, Like.

1324
01:12:55.239 --> 01:12:57.720
It's oh, absolutely, yeah, no, you're in the right area

1325
01:12:57.760 --> 01:12:59.920
for sure, northern California, my goodness.

1326
01:13:00.800 --> 01:13:01.760
Yeah.

1327
01:13:01.800 --> 01:13:04.560
And I know also kind of like you know, some

1328
01:13:04.560 --> 01:13:06.560
people might also be saying, like, dude, like that's a

1329
01:13:06.600 --> 01:13:09.279
lot of things to happen or to experience for one person,

1330
01:13:09.359 --> 01:13:11.159
Like you're probably just paranoid or whatever.

1331
01:13:11.720 --> 01:13:12.840
Believe me, I am not.

1332
01:13:14.119 --> 01:13:16.960
I am not the type of person where everything is

1333
01:13:17.680 --> 01:13:19.399
When once I got into this and I started looking

1334
01:13:19.399 --> 01:13:21.600
into the stuff, I'm not the type of person where

1335
01:13:21.640 --> 01:13:24.520
I'm like everything is a sasquatch, like I know my animals,

1336
01:13:24.680 --> 01:13:28.600
all right, I know, I'm very aware, you know of

1337
01:13:28.680 --> 01:13:30.800
what is and what could be or you know, or

1338
01:13:30.840 --> 01:13:31.880
what is definitely not.

1339
01:13:32.119 --> 01:13:37.920
And then you know, so I understand for people listening.

1340
01:13:37.800 --> 01:13:40.239
Like they're probably like, okay, yeah, whatever, like this is

1341
01:13:40.279 --> 01:13:41.920
a lot of things to happen to one person.

1342
01:13:42.359 --> 01:13:45.079
I feel like I've experienced like almost.

1343
01:13:44.680 --> 01:13:48.359
Every one of the phenomenon other than physically seeing it,

1344
01:13:48.840 --> 01:13:52.079
which I don't I which I don't want to honestly,

1345
01:13:52.720 --> 01:13:54.960
after what I've seen, like I'm good, you know, like

1346
01:13:55.000 --> 01:13:58.560
it's kind of I'll be honest, Like I used to

1347
01:13:58.600 --> 01:14:01.520
go out camping. I used to go hiking far on

1348
01:14:01.680 --> 01:14:04.640
my own. I haven't done that in a long time.

1349
01:14:04.720 --> 01:14:08.359
Like I'm I'm kind of like not able to go

1350
01:14:08.439 --> 01:14:10.399
out on my own anymore, you know what I mean,

1351
01:14:10.960 --> 01:14:11.800
Like I need a group.

1352
01:14:13.279 --> 01:14:15.079
I totally get that. I mean, going through so many

1353
01:14:15.079 --> 01:14:17.760
things like that can really affect you. I wonder if

1354
01:14:17.880 --> 01:14:20.199
the reason why you haven't seen one is because you

1355
01:14:20.279 --> 01:14:23.079
have that internally you're like I don't want to see one,

1356
01:14:23.359 --> 01:14:24.680
and that's why, you know.

1357
01:14:25.560 --> 01:14:28.239
I think so, and like I've I hope so anyway,

1358
01:14:28.279 --> 01:14:32.479
because like I'm I'm not I'm not super religious. I

1359
01:14:32.520 --> 01:14:36.880
do believe in God, and so every time I, you know,

1360
01:14:37.000 --> 01:14:38.880
do go out into the woods, I do say like

1361
01:14:38.920 --> 01:14:40.840
a little prayer. I'm like, you know, like watch over

1362
01:14:40.880 --> 01:14:44.079
me whatever. And then I also, I don't know, I

1363
01:14:44.079 --> 01:14:47.119
have the weird like super I guess superstition where I'm

1364
01:14:47.199 --> 01:14:49.720
just you know, I kind of like say to myself, like, hey,

1365
01:14:49.800 --> 01:14:52.439
like you know, I'm going to try not to leave

1366
01:14:52.479 --> 01:14:55.079
things as they are and be respectful in the woods

1367
01:14:55.159 --> 01:14:57.600
and all that, you know what I mean. Sure, I

1368
01:14:57.600 --> 01:14:59.920
don't know what the right because I heard, like, you know,

1369
01:15:00.079 --> 01:15:03.039
growing up, like I heard about these like indigenous stories

1370
01:15:03.079 --> 01:15:06.920
of like people that would pretty much like show their

1371
01:15:06.920 --> 01:15:09.079
respect to the land, you know, when they go out

1372
01:15:09.119 --> 01:15:11.199
and stuff. So like it's not like I do that,

1373
01:15:11.319 --> 01:15:13.359
like you know what I mean, like a ritual or anything.

1374
01:15:13.680 --> 01:15:15.359
But I just have it in mind, you know. I'm

1375
01:15:15.399 --> 01:15:16.880
just like before I go in, I'm like, hey, like

1376
01:15:16.920 --> 01:15:18.520
I'm just here to have a good time, and like

1377
01:15:18.640 --> 01:15:23.479
you know, I show my respect, you know. And yeah,

1378
01:15:23.600 --> 01:15:25.960
and that's it. And and so like I'm lucky to

1379
01:15:26.000 --> 01:15:28.319
have never seen one, and I don't want to ever,

1380
01:15:28.720 --> 01:15:31.680
you know. And you know, I don't know how people

1381
01:15:31.680 --> 01:15:35.800
go out looking for these things, dude, because whether it's

1382
01:15:35.840 --> 01:15:38.840
real or not, at this point, I think we're past that, honestly,

1383
01:15:40.079 --> 01:15:41.880
for for for the people that are in the know,

1384
01:15:42.000 --> 01:15:43.199
I think we're past that, you know.

1385
01:15:44.680 --> 01:15:47.520
And I totally pasted it. Yeah, this is.

1386
01:15:47.520 --> 01:15:52.079
Another California one, the last one that I can that

1387
01:15:52.119 --> 01:15:55.159
I can remember. This is a totally different area. But

1388
01:15:55.239 --> 01:16:02.840
also in the mountains. I'm hiking and I'm about to camp, right,

1389
01:16:03.079 --> 01:16:06.920
And so I get to the spot where I'm about

1390
01:16:06.920 --> 01:16:10.520
to camp, and I'm with one other person. I just

1391
01:16:10.560 --> 01:16:12.359
I don't want to mention who it is, but I'm

1392
01:16:12.399 --> 01:16:18.119
with one other person and that person was responsible for

1393
01:16:18.319 --> 01:16:23.399
packing the tent and I was responsible for packing other

1394
01:16:23.479 --> 01:16:25.520
things like food and whatever, because this is like a

1395
01:16:25.560 --> 01:16:29.960
backpacking type of trip. Anyway, So we get there, we're

1396
01:16:29.960 --> 01:16:34.439
at elevation. Keep in mind, this will plane later. I've

1397
01:16:34.479 --> 01:16:37.439
had at least two days to acclimate to the elevation,

1398
01:16:37.600 --> 01:16:40.680
so I don't attribute what happened to elevation sickness.

1399
01:16:40.920 --> 01:16:45.079
Right, you can you share how tall it was for elevation.

1400
01:16:46.079 --> 01:16:49.680
Oh it was probably like seven and a half thousand. Okay,

1401
01:16:49.680 --> 01:16:52.640
so you're up there. Yeah, okay, sorry, yeah, I know

1402
01:16:52.720 --> 01:16:53.079
You're good.

1403
01:16:54.079 --> 01:16:56.520
Anyway, So we get to the spot where, you know,

1404
01:16:56.640 --> 01:16:58.640
again this is now b alm Land. So it's kind

1405
01:16:58.640 --> 01:17:01.640
of like once you get past a certain point, you

1406
01:17:02.199 --> 01:17:05.239
find a spot that is, you know, off the trail,

1407
01:17:05.600 --> 01:17:08.279
and you know where you can camp and leave no

1408
01:17:08.399 --> 01:17:10.439
trace and make sure it's like a hard surface so

1409
01:17:10.479 --> 01:17:13.720
that you don't like destroy the the wildlife and the

1410
01:17:13.800 --> 01:17:15.920
sorry of the plants and on that. Anyway, So we're

1411
01:17:15.960 --> 01:17:17.960
sitting there for a while and we're just chilling out,

1412
01:17:18.000 --> 01:17:21.199
and this is like midday. We're like, okay, perfect, we

1413
01:17:21.239 --> 01:17:25.439
found our spot. Let's just chill out before we like

1414
01:17:25.479 --> 01:17:27.399
set up camp, right.

1415
01:17:27.600 --> 01:17:33.239
And as we're as we're like just chilling there, I.

1416
01:17:33.199 --> 01:17:37.039
Start like just looking off into like I guess we

1417
01:17:37.079 --> 01:17:39.039
had our chairs set up a certain way, like our

1418
01:17:39.079 --> 01:17:41.319
little mini camping chairs, you know, those light ones that

1419
01:17:41.359 --> 01:17:44.319
are like barely a chair anyway, So I'm looking. I'm

1420
01:17:44.359 --> 01:17:48.479
looking off to the left, deep like far into the woods,

1421
01:17:48.520 --> 01:17:52.279
and there's like big Sequoia trees. Right, this is this

1422
01:17:52.399 --> 01:17:54.920
is the other side of California. This is not the Redwoods.

1423
01:17:54.920 --> 01:17:59.600
This is Sequoia's right anyway, And there's like you know,

1424
01:17:59.840 --> 01:18:02.000
I don't know if you've seen them when they fall down,

1425
01:18:02.119 --> 01:18:04.199
like when the trunks are just laying on the ground,

1426
01:18:04.239 --> 01:18:07.520
but it's huge, right, it looks like prehistoric stuff.

1427
01:18:07.600 --> 01:18:10.720
Right, So I'm looking far like deep, I don't know.

1428
01:18:10.760 --> 01:18:12.680
For some reason, my eyes are like fixated on this

1429
01:18:12.720 --> 01:18:16.840
one spot, and I swear like it. It kind of

1430
01:18:16.840 --> 01:18:24.439
looks like there's like three different like black like spots

1431
01:18:24.640 --> 01:18:27.800
or or like things like kind of at some moments

1432
01:18:27.800 --> 01:18:30.039
they're like poking out and I could see it, and

1433
01:18:30.079 --> 01:18:33.920
at some moments they're not. This is all like around

1434
01:18:34.000 --> 01:18:37.720
one large tree that's fallen in the distance, and but

1435
01:18:37.800 --> 01:18:39.960
it's again it's far enough where I'm not sure what

1436
01:18:40.079 --> 01:18:40.840
I'm looking at.

1437
01:18:41.079 --> 01:18:41.680
It's but it.

1438
01:18:41.800 --> 01:18:46.560
But I can be with like ninety five percent certainty

1439
01:18:46.720 --> 01:18:50.239
say that all right, like I'm seeing it now, and

1440
01:18:50.279 --> 01:18:52.840
then I'm not seeing it, like what what you know?

1441
01:18:52.920 --> 01:18:53.319
What I mean?

1442
01:18:54.199 --> 01:18:56.560
So and and for some reason like and then I

1443
01:18:56.600 --> 01:19:00.000
would just ignore it. But then my attention would always

1444
01:19:00.119 --> 01:19:02.439
be It's like, you know, like when you feel like

1445
01:19:02.479 --> 01:19:05.279
you're being watched, it's like that, you know, Like my

1446
01:19:05.319 --> 01:19:09.840
attention just goes back to that spot again and again. Anyway,

1447
01:19:10.880 --> 01:19:14.039
I start to feel like later on, so I'm like, okay, whatever,

1448
01:19:14.159 --> 01:19:16.720
like I'm looking at it and I don't know what

1449
01:19:16.760 --> 01:19:17.079
it is.

1450
01:19:18.000 --> 01:19:19.640
I'm not going I'm not like leaving.

1451
01:19:19.680 --> 01:19:22.039
I'm exhausted, right, so I'm just like sitting down because

1452
01:19:22.039 --> 01:19:25.159
we just hiked up like you know, for like two

1453
01:19:25.199 --> 01:19:26.520
and a half hours uphill.

1454
01:19:26.560 --> 01:19:29.159
The whole time, I'm just sitting chilling, and then.

1455
01:19:31.880 --> 01:19:33.600
Yeah, and then all of a sudden, Okay, it comes

1456
01:19:33.600 --> 01:19:35.680
time to like, okay, let's just like start to set

1457
01:19:35.720 --> 01:19:38.279
up before, you know, way before it gets I don't

1458
01:19:38.279 --> 01:19:39.720
want to deal with this like later on in the

1459
01:19:39.800 --> 01:19:41.880
day and be pressed for time, you know, and lose lights,

1460
01:19:41.880 --> 01:19:43.840
So like, let's just open up our stuff, set up,

1461
01:19:43.840 --> 01:19:47.159
maybe eat something. So we start taking out our gear.

1462
01:19:48.760 --> 01:19:53.159
My buddy forgets to pack the tent poles, he forgets,

1463
01:19:53.800 --> 01:19:57.119
oh no to pack yeah, oh, he forgets to pack

1464
01:19:58.560 --> 01:20:01.399
you know, the amn other things, some other things too,

1465
01:20:02.279 --> 01:20:06.199
And I'm like, okay, well, like we're in California. It's dry,

1466
01:20:06.840 --> 01:20:10.479
like it's not going to rain. We could cowboy camp,

1467
01:20:10.800 --> 01:20:12.920
you know what I mean. The only thing is like exposure,

1468
01:20:13.039 --> 01:20:15.600
like cold, you know, being up there. It gets cold

1469
01:20:15.680 --> 01:20:18.319
in the mountains at night, right, So it's like we

1470
01:20:18.399 --> 01:20:22.119
could do it. Let's think about it and decide. Anyway,

1471
01:20:22.199 --> 01:20:23.960
it starts to get a little bit later in the day.

1472
01:20:24.000 --> 01:20:27.439
We still got a lot of daylight left, and you know,

1473
01:20:27.479 --> 01:20:29.800
we're kind of setting up where we would do this

1474
01:20:29.920 --> 01:20:34.039
cowboy camping, and I start to feel like really sick.

1475
01:20:34.359 --> 01:20:38.239
Like just nauseous and like I had eaten, i had rested,

1476
01:20:39.000 --> 01:20:40.800
I'd gotten a little bit of sun, but we were

1477
01:20:40.840 --> 01:20:44.399
still kind of like shaded. So I don't attribute it

1478
01:20:44.439 --> 01:20:47.960
to anything like that or elevation sickness, although it is possible,

1479
01:20:49.840 --> 01:20:52.000
and so I don't know. Again, like this is just

1480
01:20:52.039 --> 01:20:55.960
a weird sensation that I'm having weird circumstances. I think

1481
01:20:56.000 --> 01:20:59.199
I'm seeing this thing off in the distance poking its head.

1482
01:20:59.239 --> 01:21:01.720
I'm like, is this raccoons just.

1483
01:21:01.399 --> 01:21:03.520
Popping out and looking at me and then going back

1484
01:21:03.680 --> 01:21:05.199
in their hole or something like. I don't know what

1485
01:21:05.199 --> 01:21:09.359
I'm looking at right anyway, So after some time, I

1486
01:21:09.439 --> 01:21:10.479
just get this feeling.

1487
01:21:10.520 --> 01:21:12.760
I'm like, dude, like this is a bad idea.

1488
01:21:13.119 --> 01:21:16.000
Like I know, we we spent all this money to

1489
01:21:16.039 --> 01:21:20.239
like come here, but and to do this this one hike.

1490
01:21:20.359 --> 01:21:23.319
But I'm like, you forgot the stuff for the tent.

1491
01:21:23.560 --> 01:21:26.720
I'm like, I'm feeling like crap right now. I'm like,

1492
01:21:26.920 --> 01:21:29.439
we still have enough time. If we leave now, we

1493
01:21:29.479 --> 01:21:33.000
can make it out to the car. If we leave

1494
01:21:33.119 --> 01:21:35.760
now and we hike and it's down and I'm like,

1495
01:21:35.840 --> 01:21:39.119
luckily it's downhill, so it won't be as hard like

1496
01:21:40.159 --> 01:21:42.479
on our lungs, but it'll be hard on our feet, right.

1497
01:21:42.600 --> 01:21:44.199
So I'm like, but if we leave now, we can

1498
01:21:44.239 --> 01:21:46.520
make it out. And so we decide to do that.

1499
01:21:46.600 --> 01:21:48.600
We pack our stuff and we're like, we're not staying

1500
01:21:48.640 --> 01:21:50.600
the night, you know, We're just too many things are

1501
01:21:50.640 --> 01:21:53.720
just going wrong. I'm like, this is a bad idea anyway,

1502
01:21:53.840 --> 01:21:57.159
So we hike out. Yeah, we make it out like

1503
01:21:57.399 --> 01:22:01.479
literally as it's like dark. And yeah, I got to say,

1504
01:22:01.520 --> 01:22:04.279
like that was one time where I'm so happy that like,

1505
01:22:04.720 --> 01:22:07.960
you know, when you're out there, whoever's listening, like seriously,

1506
01:22:08.039 --> 01:22:11.439
listen to your gut, you know, listen to your gut.

1507
01:22:11.720 --> 01:22:14.479
I've gone scuba diving and there's been dives you know

1508
01:22:14.720 --> 01:22:17.279
where I'm just not feeling it.

1509
01:22:17.359 --> 01:22:17.560
You know.

1510
01:22:17.680 --> 01:22:20.079
It's like they always say in scuba diving too, like

1511
01:22:20.159 --> 01:22:21.920
listen to your gut, like if you go in the

1512
01:22:21.960 --> 01:22:24.439
water right before going down, if you get a feeling

1513
01:22:24.479 --> 01:22:26.039
like you know, like you don't want to do it,

1514
01:22:26.760 --> 01:22:28.520
just get out of there, you know, like just don't

1515
01:22:28.520 --> 01:22:32.720
do it. And so yeah, just yeah, So I mean, yeah,

1516
01:22:32.720 --> 01:22:34.039
that was it. I mean, I know it's kind of

1517
01:22:34.039 --> 01:22:38.039
all over the place. I wish I was more into

1518
01:22:38.119 --> 01:22:40.720
the hiking. You know, obviously, you know with all the

1519
01:22:40.880 --> 01:22:41.880
you know that period of time.

1520
01:22:41.880 --> 01:22:42.560
I don't want to say it.

1521
01:22:42.600 --> 01:22:44.479
I don't know how they flag stuff here, but you

1522
01:22:44.520 --> 01:22:48.479
know that period of time when everything closed down. Oh yeah, yeah,

1523
01:22:48.479 --> 01:22:50.239
so that put a damper on a lot of things

1524
01:22:50.279 --> 01:22:52.720
hiking wise for me. But also kind of all these

1525
01:22:52.760 --> 01:22:56.319
experiences have not allowed me to like just relax in

1526
01:22:56.359 --> 01:22:58.319
the woods like I used to, and so like I

1527
01:22:58.359 --> 01:23:01.119
have gone out gained a bit away. You know, I'm

1528
01:23:01.119 --> 01:23:02.640
trying to get back to where it was I was.

1529
01:23:03.039 --> 01:23:05.239
I was so fit, dude, and like now you know,

1530
01:23:05.600 --> 01:23:09.399
I'm like I need to get back to that. But anyway, yeah,

1531
01:23:09.439 --> 01:23:10.000
so that was it.

1532
01:23:10.119 --> 01:23:13.439
I think the people that would say I can't believe

1533
01:23:13.439 --> 01:23:16.840
this all happened to one guy, those are the people

1534
01:23:16.920 --> 01:23:20.359
that don't realize what's going on with this whole bigfoot thing,

1535
01:23:20.560 --> 01:23:27.520
because when you start getting out there and stuff just happens.

1536
01:23:27.520 --> 01:23:27.720
Man.

1537
01:23:27.760 --> 01:23:31.439
I mean no, I don't think it's the the ordinary

1538
01:23:31.520 --> 01:23:35.520
to say something like that. Yeah, people don't realize what

1539
01:23:35.800 --> 01:23:39.640
can happen to a person once they get I don't

1540
01:23:39.680 --> 01:23:41.000
know how to say it, but it's almost like you

1541
01:23:41.039 --> 01:23:44.279
get latched onto but not in a bad way, But

1542
01:23:45.239 --> 01:23:45.680
I don't.

1543
01:23:45.479 --> 01:23:47.920
Know, I know what you mean, Like people call it

1544
01:23:47.960 --> 01:23:49.680
like the hitchhiker effect or whatever.

1545
01:23:50.600 --> 01:23:53.520
Yeah, even that has sometimes a negative thing, but it's

1546
01:23:53.600 --> 01:23:56.720
like you get opened up to what's going on and

1547
01:23:57.359 --> 01:23:59.840
and different things start checking you out. Tagged is a

1548
01:24:00.159 --> 01:24:02.640
way to say it. That's a good way to say it. Yeah,

1549
01:24:02.720 --> 01:24:04.520
right right, Yeah, that's a good way.

1550
01:24:04.920 --> 01:24:07.800
Man. Have you ever gone to Oregon or Washington? That

1551
01:24:07.840 --> 01:24:11.000
would be wild? Yeah, yeah, yeah, I've been. I've been

1552
01:24:11.119 --> 01:24:11.600
all over.

1553
01:24:12.079 --> 01:24:16.000
I've been to the Smoky Mountains, camped in the Smoky Mountains.

1554
01:24:16.039 --> 01:24:18.960
But before I was into all this, I used to

1555
01:24:19.000 --> 01:24:20.279
go there like once a year.

1556
01:24:20.960 --> 01:24:23.079
I've I've hiked and camped.

1557
01:24:22.720 --> 01:24:27.399
All over the states and you know, northern Ontario and stuff.

1558
01:24:27.439 --> 01:24:31.079
And yeah, believe me, like I know the outdoors. I

1559
01:24:31.119 --> 01:24:34.239
know the difference between like, you know, an elk sound

1560
01:24:34.359 --> 01:24:37.239
and you know what I mean, like or a bear print.

1561
01:24:38.159 --> 01:24:39.840
But yeah, going back to what you were saying about

1562
01:24:39.880 --> 01:24:44.199
the tag I think that I've always asked myself like,

1563
01:24:44.239 --> 01:24:48.239
why is it that some people, you know, again, can

1564
01:24:48.279 --> 01:24:51.279
experience many different things other people experience zero?

1565
01:24:52.800 --> 01:24:53.960
And it is it?

1566
01:24:54.000 --> 01:24:56.520
Is it something in your mind where you're like if

1567
01:24:56.880 --> 01:24:59.680
because I attribute it back to like maybe like when

1568
01:24:59.720 --> 01:25:03.119
I saw that one thing on I think it was

1569
01:25:03.119 --> 01:25:05.720
a YouTube like years before any of this happened, where

1570
01:25:05.720 --> 01:25:08.279
I said to myself like, oh, like it would be cool.

1571
01:25:08.319 --> 01:25:10.520
Like it's like it's almost like you allow your mind,

1572
01:25:10.640 --> 01:25:12.479
you're open to the possibility of it.

1573
01:25:14.439 --> 01:25:15.479
Yep, you know what I'm saying.

1574
01:25:16.039 --> 01:25:20.960
Let me, I'll explain this, because it's weird. There's guys

1575
01:25:21.119 --> 01:25:25.159
in the Bigfoot community where they will not let themselves

1576
01:25:25.560 --> 01:25:28.840
be open to stuff happening. It's like, why are you

1577
01:25:28.920 --> 01:25:33.600
even there? Why are you there if you're not open

1578
01:25:33.680 --> 01:25:37.760
to weird stuff happening? It makes no sense, Like you're

1579
01:25:38.000 --> 01:25:41.800
you're spending your entire life, all your money, everything, and

1580
01:25:41.880 --> 01:25:44.720
you just can't be okay with like weird stuff going

1581
01:25:44.720 --> 01:25:47.640
on out there, like we're talking about Bigfoot, like it's

1582
01:25:47.640 --> 01:25:50.479
gonna get weird. And yeah, so you open yourself up,

1583
01:25:50.560 --> 01:25:54.239
your intentions are like yeah whatever, and that's I think

1584
01:25:54.279 --> 01:25:56.319
a lot to do with it, you know, So.

1585
01:25:58.319 --> 01:26:02.199
Dude anyway, but yeah, that was you know, I appreciate you,

1586
01:26:02.199 --> 01:26:04.119
you know, giving me the time. But yeah, I've never

1587
01:26:04.159 --> 01:26:07.600
really shared this, you know, so I hope people don't

1588
01:26:07.640 --> 01:26:08.359
think I'm crazy.

1589
01:26:08.359 --> 01:26:12.399
Because I'm definitely not okay. Yeah, dude, thank you for

1590
01:26:12.399 --> 01:26:15.920
coming up. Yeah, it was a pleasure chatting with you. Absolutely, man,

1591
01:26:16.079 --> 01:26:17.920
take it easy, you got it you too.

1592
01:26:22.520 --> 01:26:24.800
Before we wrap this episode, I want to say something

1593
01:26:24.880 --> 01:26:28.079
directly to a very specific group of listeners. If you're

1594
01:26:28.079 --> 01:26:31.840
in the military, any branch or forces, and if you've

1595
01:26:31.880 --> 01:26:34.720
seen something that no one can explain, or if you're

1596
01:26:34.760 --> 01:26:38.039
a National park ranger or forestry worker who's been told

1597
01:26:38.039 --> 01:26:41.479
to stay quiet. If you're a pilot who's seen something

1598
01:26:41.560 --> 01:26:44.479
strange down on the ground, or if you're with the

1599
01:26:44.600 --> 01:26:48.479
FBI a federal agency, or working intelligence and you stumbled

1600
01:26:48.560 --> 01:26:51.399
upon something you're not allowed to talk about. And if

1601
01:26:51.399 --> 01:26:54.960
you're a firefighter, paramedic, or search and rescue responder who's

1602
01:26:55.000 --> 01:26:58.600
heard screams or found tracks that didn't make sense. If

1603
01:26:58.640 --> 01:27:02.319
you're in the logging industry on a remote oil field,

1604
01:27:02.479 --> 01:27:05.479
or a trucker with government contracts and you've had something

1605
01:27:05.560 --> 01:27:08.960
happen that you've never told a soul. And if you're

1606
01:27:09.000 --> 01:27:12.880
a biologist, a wildlife specialist, or a field researcher under

1607
01:27:12.920 --> 01:27:16.279
contract who has found evidence you're not allowed to report.

1608
01:27:16.800 --> 01:27:19.279
If you're a pastor, a missionary, or someone on a

1609
01:27:19.319 --> 01:27:22.760
spiritual retreat and you saw something that shook your faith,

1610
01:27:23.479 --> 01:27:26.600
or if you work in the shadows CIA, NSA or

1611
01:27:26.640 --> 01:27:30.000
anything with clearance and you've seen what the public hasn't,

1612
01:27:31.359 --> 01:27:34.800
then I want to talk to you, even if it's anonymous.

1613
01:27:36.600 --> 01:27:40.119
You can reach me at Bigfoot Society at gmail dot com.

1616
01:27:49.359 --> 01:27:53.199

01:28:01.800 --> 01:28:04.640
is often hiding just beyond the tree line. If you
