Something Was Watching Us! – 45 Years of Bigfoot in Michigan

It's coming from two lifelong friends who spent over forty five years hunting, fishing, and living deep in the woods of northern Michigan, from the back roads of Mesic to the shadows of the Manistee National Forest. Something has been following them, watching them, sometimes even showing itself. Tree knocks, rocks thrown with impossible accuracy, bases at cabin windows under a full moon, in a creature so massive one witness ran barefoot through the forest to escape it, leaving his gear behind. This isn't a campfire tale. It's not a story passed down through generations. These are the first hand experiences of Dean and Norm. And they say, Bigfoot let them see what it didn't want others to. This is the Michigan episode. So stay with us, right, Bigfoot Society, You've got the privilege of talking to Dean and Norm today.

Will be going from northern Michigan Maynistee National Forest down to southern Michigan. We're going to be going all over the place for this one. So Dean and Norm welcome to the show. Guys. How's it going, Yeah, pretty good? Thanks thanks for having us. Yeah, absolutely so, guys, I know that you've got we've got a lot of ground to cover with this one. So I'm going to go ahead and uh a lot. Feel free to uh you know, start sharing from here, but if possible, you know, we want to make sure that we're not talking over each other as well, So I'll let you go ahead and take it from here. Guys.

1:43 All right, I'll go first. I'll start from when. I'll save the best ones for last, because but they're all pretty good. First time I started having anything happened I was fourteen years old. I used to ride dirt bikes, and Norman and I grew up together, and uh, you know, we're both like in you know, early sixties, not early, but mid you know, like sixty five. So when I was younger, I used to drive over to his house on my dirt bike and I'd have to go through the woods and it was a really fan trail, but I'd swear something was running behind me. I could hear it, like real heavy thudding. And back then, I didn't have.

2:23 A clue what a big foot was, or you know, I just knew something was out there. I thought maybe somebody's horse or somebody was riding a horse behind me, or didn't have any ideas. So a little while later, you know, we saw the Patterson Gimblin film, and I'm like, you know that that kind of makes sense. I never in a million years never thought i'd you know, see one. And so Norman, I, you know, later on we started hunting together. He had a cabin up here up north and uh Interlocking, and we'd go there almost every weekend, you know, when we got to where we could and we come up there, and if we weren't hunting, we were fishing, you know, stream Brookie fishing, and we started hearing all this noise and stuff. We were kind of aware of what a bigfoot was then, but we didn't relate the noises we were hearing the bigfoot. He kept telling me that it was a porcupine screaming, and we thought guys were out in the woods chopping wood.

3:25 And I'm looking at Norman, I told him. I goes, it's going to take that guy forever to chop that wood, because you know, you can only hear it hit once in a while, which was them banging on trees. And I have my own conclusions about that after dealing with, you know, with bigfoots for all those years, when they bang on trees, that's a warning. You know, you see these guys on these bigfoot programs, first thing need to do is go up bang on trees and start that infernal yelling, and all that is just you know, they might get it once. That's a morning that's telling, telling the other bigfoots in the area that there's humans in the wood, and you won't get any responses after that they get might you might hear them bang on a tree once and after.

4:13 That they are gone. And if the bigfoot less you see him, it's because he wants you to see him, because you're not seeing the other one behind you, are on the side of you, sneaking up on you. If you want to see bigfoots, don't look for him. You'll never find them. If you're gonna look for him, you sit there by campfire. Almost every time we've had experiences when we've been sitting quiet. Don't go in there making any noise, all that infernal yelling and banging on trees. You're not gonna do anything but scare them out of there. And if you want to keep them away from your house, if you're having a problem, put up trail cameras. They smell the batteries.

4:54 And I told this to rout Us on a typical bigfoots O that you watch on TV. Anyways, I told him they smell the batteries. They can see infra red and a lot of people in there putting trail camera up. They don't even think about the human sentence on there on the camera. These things can smell. If you want us to get a picture on a trail camp, you need to put it on the ground facing up or high up in a tree facing down, because they've we've got a video of one we go. We got his arm because he was aware the camera was there and he would not he wouldn't show himself to that anyway. Getting getting from there, I came.

5:36 Up here with my ex wife and we were by the window in the cabin. There was a you know, they have several bedrooms in there, and we were buy one and the windows right over our head, and they, yeah, a big window, and it was full moon that night, and all of. A sudden it got really dark, I mean real dark. I couldn't see anything out of the window, Like what are you talking about? Three feet away from my face, and all of a sudden it bent down and looked in the window. And I'm telling you that face. No one's gonna tell me that these things have any human because.

6:16 They're not human at all. They're a great ape period. The great apes have twenty four chromosomes. They had. Two sets. You know, you have two sets of chromosomes. Human beings have twenty three, and they have two that are fused. But I'm not a Darwinism I'm a creationalist. And they are just totally different. And the people that say they're seeing dog men, I believe they're mistaken. I believe that they got them confused with something that's called dinopithecus, which like gigantapithecus. The dinopithecus is like the bad moon version.

6:57 And I've noticed that just years doing a bunch of different research that some bigfoots have actually the thumb that comes out like a gorilla on the foot. Some of them have tails. Some of them don't. They can exhibit all the signs of the other great apes, you know, because I'm into the scientific end of it. They don't have. Any magical powers. These things move so fast, you know, and they're always underestimating to weight. You're talking one twelve hundred, you know, some of them twelve hundred pounds. You know. Yeah, sure there's younger ones and they don't weigh as much, but their weights are always way off. You know. You get something that's seven eight feet tall, it's going to be in anywhere from eight hundred to maybe a little over one thousand pounds, but it's not going to be under that depending out how tall it is. Anyways, that when that bigfoot looked in the window, I didn't there wake up my wife because if that would have happened and we went home, I mean she would have want home, want to go home immediately. Guarantee the car would even point north again after that. So that, Yeah, and through the years, I've had a lot of different experiences at the cabin, and like I said, most of the time is when you're sitting by the fire or you're playing cards in the cabin, but you're not making any no. So we've had I'm telling you we've had deniers.

8:20 I mean people used to laugh and Norm and I about our stories. We tell you know, oh you guys in your big foots, you know, and you know you can't convince these people. And we've had several people that have been up here and been to the cabin that will not come back. We've invited different. Groups to you know, online, to come up and they're welcome to bring their analytical equipment with them, and they just won't. They won't do it. They won't come back. You know. So you want to if you want to find a big foot, you here, I'm going to do it like any of these TV shows. I guarantee you won't. You're not gonna find. They don't want you to be they don't want to be seen. You're not gonna see them.

9:02 And if if you see one, it's because they allowed it. And they can hunt, dounce, and they drop so fast on to the ground. They are a grade ape. They're not human in any way, shape or form. I think a lot a lot of it is mistaken identity. To get a lot of these guys that came back from Vietnam and they've gotten into the woods and you know, people that see these guys, oh yeah, I was a human. Well I think it actually was a human that they've seen, you know, yeah, and ghillie suits. And just different things like that. But they don't look human at all. I mean, if you want to the ones that I've always seen, they look exactly like gorillas in the face.

9:45 Some are a little bit different. Some you know, they have they're just like people. They have different facial structures from specimen to specimen, you know, they're all they're all different, different coats and for there, I was thinking, actually, like the snowshoetr hair, we were thinking that they might turn white in the wintertime. We're not sure. But see, because you've had colored phases that all these people describe, you you know, blonde, white, brown, red, black, all different kinds, you know, and a lot a lot of the ones that come up the tracks, a lot of the ones that only have three toes, that's from inbreeding.

10:26 You know, they don't have a large population when that happens, because that's a genetic defect caused by inbreeding. That or you know, I mean, if you live out. Doors all your life, I mean a lot of things can happen. You know, they could easily lose the toe here, you know, break a foot there, you know. So so all the bigfoot tracks, you know, we've had a lot of different experiences, and going into Cabin Road one day we saw one going across the creek and it was so fast it looked like a black blur. And it's just amazing speed these things can generate. And I believe the reason these. People think that they just disappear through a porthole is because they can drop down to the ground like and be gone in seconds. And you know, you're you know, the army crawl away really fast, real fast. Most of the time if you're in the woods that you do see one, you know it'll be on the ground.

11:22 It'll be lower to the ground. They don't stand up a lot when people are around them. They don't stand up. They're always hiding and they get low. You know, most people's mistake they're making as they're looking straight ahead or trying to look up. Another thing people don't do is they don't look up into the trees. These things climb like you wouldn't believe, and they go from tree. To tree like quick like lightning. It's amazing. How something that weighs that much to move that fast through the trees. It's insane. And the smaller ones, they're they're frightening in a tree. They do some acrobats. You don't even believe. I mean, you know, we've seen that. And what I like is the skeptics to come up here.

12:03 That's my favorite thing. I'll let Norm tell you about you know all that, but I'll tell you about one of them that came up to the cabin hunting, and he was a real skeptic. You know, if we've even said big before, he'd start laughing, you know. And the thing about it is the people that live up here, the natives, Like we live really close to the town called Mesic, and you can tell the natives from the people that are the Downstaters, because the people from downstate will laugh when you mentioned bigfoot. Natives around here don't laugh. They got a name for one of them and the city of Mesic, and there's a road called Morilla Road. They have a name for this bigfoot because so many people have seen him.

12:48 They call him the Marilla Gorilla. It's insane, you know, I mean, there's just so much proof. Like I said, with the Donald pithecus. There's a lot of dynam pit thinks in the Manistee National Force. But I also believe that the government because there's a thing called a Crisper machine and it figures out genetic codes and everything way faster than than we've ever been able to do before. And uh yeah, I believe the government has actually done super soldier experiments, you know, to get a walking canine, you know. So I'm not I'm not crossing out the dog man thing. But I think a lot of it's a misidentification, you know, because you get a you get an eight foot tall bamboon, you know, and it's got a long muscle like that, You're gonna a lost. People don't even know what the baboon looks like.

13:43 So I think a lot that's a mistaken identity. And I've even seen I've mentioned that online before, and the next time we get online, we see all these guys, you know, buying into that or using what we told them, just like Russim Expedition X there. You know, I'll tell them about the batteries and stuff. And then he said that, But did I get credit for it? No, of course not. You know, so we have hair samples. Oh, we've got hair samples. We've got rocks that have been thrown that we kept. And the thing about it, those rocks that were thrown at Norm he was out walking the dog. They way identical.

14:23 There's the same exact size, three point five ounces, that exactly. I'll let Norm tell you about that. I'll tell you one more thing and I'll hand it over to him, cause we got it. We have so many incidents, it's just it's crazy. So anyway, I'll tell you about the hunting incident when we had. A company come up to hunt. And I'm going to. Tell you the man's name, but let's put it this way. He won't come back. He had one of those over tents to go over the back of a truck bed. Well, the first time he hit messed with him. He heard it coming down the hill and it stopped over me and he could hear it breathing. Now he had a forty five and he's still thinking it wasn't big enough.

15:07 He was scared to death. Actually pissed himself. Yeah, he did, you know, he. Lost it just bodily functions man. Yeah. He left the next morning and he was convinced, Well, that wasn't the He had another experience, like the time before. He didn't know what it was. Here, they're all, you know, he's they're drinking beer outside. It's about two or three in the morning, and he heard something run down the creek line and it was breaking branches off. We went out there the next day and they were broke off about ten foot up, some of them higher, but all the way down the creek they were.

15:48 Just like in the line. You know. It was just insane. But he there's one of the guys that won't come back up here. Yeah, she said it was like two seconds. He couldn't believe it. His cousin is a real good friend of mine that I grew up with. He came up here at bow hunting and he went out there and he heard all this, don't hear it banging on the trees, and he said it was the foulest smell that he'd ever ever smelled. And he heard it tree knocking, but he didn't get to see it, so it wasn't like zoet. So he was convinced. And he's had incidents. Here on our property here where Yeah, he's got a camper trailer and it's on it's on the bed of his truck and it's pretty big.

16:34 Anyways. Uh, he kept hearing the scratching on the side of the trailer. He was thinking it was a dog or a squirrel or something. But there's no twelve foot dogs around here. So the next day we went out there and there was a big handprint and we had pictures of that. We got we got a lot of pictures. We got pictures of trees upside pushed upside down. We had out on this property which looked like a grave and it had two sticks and an X. And you know, all these guys can't figure out what those extras are. I tell you exactly what they are. They are property markers. They're territory markers. You know. All these people they when they get on these big footshows, we sit here and left because they don't know. They don't know anything and what they're talking about they really don't.

17:21 And they're supposed to be, you know, in parentheses, the experts, you know. So I'll let you talk to Norm here. I mean, I've got we've got. So much, it's so many things. You know, we've been. Interacting with these things from their forty five years, you know, you know, it's just it's insane. They're out there, you know. Like I said, I'm not a darwin I don't believe in the Darwinism. I do believe in creationalism. And these things are not human. Like I said, the chromosome. A lot of time when you see these people on the DNA they tell you that they, well, let's get all the genetic markers as human. Well, of course it does, but it has also one extra, one extra set of chromosomes.

18:09 Humans have twenty three sets, I mean twenty three sets of chromosomes, which will give you forty six. Apes have one more, it gives you forty eight. For them, you know, they have. An extra set, but we have one one two chromosomes that are fused. It makes us human. So it's real close, very close, and you know, and if you get the wrong reading in the lab, it can easily come up, you know, human easily. But they always say there's that one extra thing in there. If you ever listened to these guys when they'll giving you a DNA analysis, there's always that one extra thing that doesn't make them quite human.

18:50 So I'll let Norm tell you about some of his experiences of like I said, we have so many things that have happened to us over the years, you know, knocking on window. We had him in this trailment where we lived. Uh knocked knocked our porch light off. They hate lights, they don't like lights. Didn't knock it off. The whole dream of dropping and yeah, that was that was, that was We call him the murdered Monkey. Well, anyway, where should I start. I wanted I wanted to tell you about my first incident I've ever you know, had. I was hunting in Lennington. Uh at my I had a girlfriend at time. He had a big friend. He was like six four, and he had his girlfriend there. I'm not gonna say his name. Uh, we're up there Hounting and was gonna be there, you know, for a week or so whatever. Well, the first day out and went out hotting.

19:52 And stuff, and I found I found this open field, but all these little popul he's all the way around at real water once because they cut it out, you know, and they started going back. But they were pretty good sides open field there. And I'm well, anyway, by the cabin where we're at, it's not a cabin, it's like a house. I call it house, cabin whatever. They had a pine right there too, so they had water around the area. And I'm like, okay, so I'm setting out there. I've seen a big buck rub and I'm setting there and all of a sudden, I hear it beer snorting, and hear it come running, all of them. They're pretty thick in there. You can't holly see anything. They come running across this open field and I'm talking twenty five to fifty deer all at one time. It was a hurd of them. I'm thinking myself, what and the heck is going on? Something scary? And he's deer, you know. So I said, well, my hunting's done.

20:53 So I get out and walk back to the cabin and I told them about it. When the next morning we got up and we walked, you know, through these pine trees off to the left of the to be the east side of the cabin. There's these pine trees, and you come to these popple trees, but they're real bigger. They're bigger, you know, they're a little bit farther apart, but they're not real real power apart. Still kind of thick in there, but there's six inches round whatever, and they're just you know. We walked through there and then Merrily goes up the heck withre that. And there was the three scratch marks on a popple tree, and they're pretty good sized, but the scratch marked there were three indentations in there and they were thick. They were around you know, really bigger than a human finger and then too big to be a bear, but they were twelve feet high. And I'm thinking, wow, that's weird. You know, I don't know what could have done that. This is the way I said, I'll tell you what I'm gonna I'm gonna look around here a little bit. I'm gonna hont in this area tonight and I'm gonna see, you know, what's going on. So I'm they go back and stuff, and they went, uh, Maryland and Bob one hunting over around side of the pine over there. And I went through them pines and I found this where these powfule trees were. And there was like a path there. It was probably oh i'd say four foot nor the fight foot wide opening all the way up and I could see up a hill and then there was two big

22:25 red pines there, and I mean big ones. I mean after I stood behind me, you ain't gonna see me at all or anything else or that goes. And they were about you know, yeah, probably I've stayed balt Pinford apart. Well, anyway, I'm setting there and at the bottom of that and I'm looking in the other direction because the winds hitting me in the face, because you get all these dear hid you got to have the wind hitting me in the face. And I'm sitting there and I'm with the browning bowl the bushmasters. I got this bucket with a swobble. Seen on that bucket that swobbles or round and a round, and I got my quib around the ground marrels. I got in there, all my bowl upside, and I see this door coming with a pawn. They're coming right up the hill by me. And they went by me, and I wasn't gonna shoot the dogs looking for a buck And they come up to the right side of me, and they didn't even make it to you know where they could smell me, because there was in front of me a little bit. All of a sudden, that doe snorted and they both turned around and took off running.

23:30 And I said, wow, that's weird, and I'm sitting there listening, and I thought I could hear something coming up that hill behind me, and I mean, it's big, you know, I could tell krunch, crunch, crunch, and it's big steps. And then they sound like a you know, bipeel person walking. And all the time I turned all the way around with my swim looking up the hills, the pine trees, the way finished thing come over the hill all the find A stepped from that one pine tree one two steps. It went from that pine to the next pine, and it was behind it, and I'm thinking myself, you know, it was like fifty yards away from me. I'm thinking, is that bib you know, he's six two or whatever, and and goes, hey, foulquit, you know, messing around. You know, I'm hunting over here. This thing took one step back, turned and started walking down the hill towards me. In the closer he got, the bigger he got. And then I was normoused and I wasn't really paying that much.

24:38 I didn't even look at his face. I was looking at farms and how big and how paul it was, and how white it was. I'm like, well, heck that, you know, But then it was he had his arms down mind me, I mean, mind you, his arms are down to his side, but he's just grabbing them powerfle trees with sake, the inch poppule tree. His wrist snappered them off on both sides of that trail. I think he did like ten of them, but he got I drew back my bowl. I've seen the hair on it turns and I'm thinking, well, heck, that ain't found, and I'm thinking myself. I threw back my ball and I said, ma'am, I'm gonna shoot you. And it just kept coming and I'm like, I'm looking at it and it's getting bigger and bigger and closer to God every step. I'm like, uh, if I shoot this thing, I'm dead, you know. So I just turned around with my bowl. I run. I just took off front. I left my cuever everything there except for my bow in that one arrow, and I'm running.

25:46 I had these real big boot times and I'm pretty heavy and all. Now I can run pretty fast. I was pretty fast, you know. And I'm bucking through it there and I'm going through them pines to get back to the the cabin I was bowl. Yeah, I'd say two hundred yards no, he's gonna report way anyway. He uh. I was moving so fast. A pine tree caught that uh you know, in the corner of my bowl, and it's got me dead. I was moving so fast. The whole body went straight out. My boots went right off my feet and I oh, and I hit the ground.

26:28 I looked back and then this thing's coming. I could see it coming in here. Come. I can see it coming too. I jerked that ball out and I got up and I was barefooted, though I had my shock on, but I was running. I was gone. I come around the edge there by the pine in there. Here's Bob in Maryland coming out of wood. And I just yelled at him. Get in the cabin now. They were prong and I said, I say, get in the cabin now, and I'm still running. I got in the door and it was crazy. I was like, I got in. I got in the cabin. I grabbed my sicken gage pump I loaded with Buckshot Slug Buckshot Slug, loaded it up.

27:10 I took a big old rekinder chair and I set it right in the middle of the living room and I sat right in a chair with that gun. Then, and I'm pale white, and I'm shaking. They said, what did you see? What did you see? I said, you won't believe me if I told you. You ain't gonna believe if I told you, And and I didn't talk to him for like a half hour, almost an hour, and then finally I told him what I seen, you know, And of course they said what I go, Yeah, yeah, I said, I don't know about you guys. But in the morning, I was already gonna pack my stuff. That night, I said, but is out of here? I am gone because that scared me that bad. But anyway, on the way out or I do went next morning, I'm packing my stuff. I was first for it up. I already have my stuff in the car. See you guys going you ready? And then all we gotta wait, we're gonna what about your stuff in the woods? I said, I'm not going back there, and they goes, well, come on, man, he said, we're whipped there. Let's go back and get your stuff. And I said, I don't really want to.

28:15 I was really scared. I said, okay, we'll do it, because you know, my girlfriend and her and whatever. They were four of us anyway, which that thing could take us all out no problem. And I'm thinking, okay, but I showed them. I didn't realize this, but when I showed them where them popple trees were snapped off, which is word up in the air, they were down low and they were snapping them. They were snapped off at six feet high. Bob was two inches higher than all them trees. It was all even, all the way across on both sides of that little trail. He goes, yeah, I'll let's get out of here. This ain't good, you know.

28:55 And the rest, you know, popple trees you gotta leaves on them and everything. And I said, okay, so we leave and and then when we get there was what you call a restaurant bar we want stopping to get breakfast. And we walked in there says that, you know the bar bench thing there, and uh, that tells. I asked the guy, you know how they say a loud or not say hey man, anybody ever see you know, a big foot or anything around? And he just put his finger up his way. He tried to steer my bedgess off. I goes, no, I just I'm just asking that. I said, you know, low enough nobody could hear me he goes, yeah, they have, and well that was enough for me, so I left. That was just the first incident I had.

29:43 And that was the Lunnington he's talking about all the local claim up right away? Oh well, yeah, well he didn't want to scare off his customers, you know. Sorry? Uh? Norm? Real quick? Was that at the same cabin that Dean was talking about? This is a different pot. Oh that's was in Monnington. That my cabin's in there or travers City. I used to say my cabinet doesn't does just wants to Now, I mean I just one I got. I gotta tell you into a Blue and the Peak. I'm serious, I am serious. And every since then I knew they were real. I didn't even know they were you know, I've heard of them before, but I didn't really believe in that. Well, I mean, that's still team I've seen and believing that is all I'm saying.

30:32 N Ball, I've been found that, didn't he Yeah he had to see that. Well, so okay, Norm, what you saw was it similar to what Dean saw? Then? Yeah? I can't really say that because I didn't really pay attention to its face. Sure, but all I knew of this thing was over ten point, it was probably yeah, it was probably kid full higher man might have been higher because of most he got. The bigger he got. I mean he was big, you know, That's all I could tell you. He was. He was I'm talking one thousand pound animal here, whatever it was. And then he had hands so big he could wrap them right around in trees and his finger touched together and they just snap him right off. I mean, what can do that? That's crazy? It was crazy. That's a scary thought. Man.

31:24 What's so strong? It's like, tell him about the trailer man? Scary real quick? What year was that again? That was nineteen ninety eight? Okay, thank you, Yeah, go ahead. Nineteen ninety eight. That happened. Well, okay, well, I gotta tell all the other stories before I get to that. Go ahead. But we got a bottle. I got a bunch more too. Well, anyway, let's see, how can I go with this? It was my next incident when I was up here. Uh well, we moved to Coltney, me and my wife. Indeed, we moved up here and then uh my wife was doing pretty bad awful anyway, she ended up getting we got an argument, but she was pretty bad. I mean, she was older, she she was dying, and I'm trying to take care of her stuff. Well, everything was a little frustrating, you know how that goes.

32:29 It was, you know, I'm trying to take care of her and everything. We got an argument, so I said, man, I gotta go. I gotta get out of the house. So I get out of the house. I go over to Herlin swamp over here towards me. See that was that was a God, that's a big mistake. Yeah, they had dog Man movies and Novice or whatever, but I you know, I just you know, every since then, I kind of paid attention to what I was listening to and you know, now to whatever different sounds and screams and yells and well, anyway, I went over there, had my camera with me. I'm over out to the dirt road.

33:11 I forgot the name of the road anyway, but it goes down There's there's covert there. It's like a river. It's like a little stream on one side, and then it goes in. The covert comes through and then to your left or you you can park your car there and then to walk over to it. And then there ain't no way to get out of there unless you go down this road right back and forth with like thirty forty yards you gotta run up that either that you're going in the water on one side. Now the other side is real thick'ally sinking mud anyway, and there's a river there. But anyway, I could see probably there's like it's like winds around and it turns into like a lake in the back of this. And then was these big tall out of trees growing out of the water that was up probably six seven foot mabe, I'm thinking six seven foot, I would say seven foot and understanding, you know, trying to chill all. Oh, we sub I mean it was foggy. It was nine o'clock in the morning or eight o'clock eate thirty right around there, and uh, and it's fogg and the FOG's left pin and stuff.

34:24 And I could see them trees and a little bed, you know. And then off from her hair, cool poosh, cool poosh, cool poosh four times and this thing went fume and anything that water, which is probably over my head. I can't believe how big this thing was. And I could see the top of his shoulders and in his head. That's it and he would grabbing them them bushes like trees, and he was just pushing them to the side. You could see them just mowing them. And so I was sitting there fumbling trying to get cells, and meanwhile, Heather's on the phone with me the whole time.

They're tied together at the top with vines. I don't know what kind of vines. And you couldn't see around the whole thing except for the b part in you know, like a doorway. The norms were snapped off. And look here's these with bones off

But it's probably three hundred yards from the house here, and I come across right by where my John there tractor is paine cone in a circle in the middle of the driveway, the same exact size as them pith tens. And it was weird because you know how you got the point out of pine cone and then you got the wide end.

I thought it was acorns the first one. No, I don't even have acorn trees out there. I do, but not there. I was like, okay, anything, no, no, okay.

He just kept going, running all the way up here to the house. All right. I was thinking happen to him? And I thought maybe bees. He got stung by a bee or something, because it's ah And I'm looking over there and I'm plashing this maple tree and I see this big, big, shame black thing on the outside of it, just picking out, you know, a little bet, and I'm thinking that, and I'm watching and

I was like, oh, I didn't know if it was a bear or what. I didn't go find out. I was just like, let's go, we're out of here, you know. And I did so many incidents and crazy man got there's so many. I mean, there's just so many. I mean, it's insane. My sister was sleeping in my camphor here and she had an incident out there. She said, now she come in knocking on the door. I'm sleeping on couch. Yeah. Yeah, she had an instant out there. I don't know if he shook that little it was like a camper trailer, you know,

And then I said, yeah, let's go that that that that played that right. We go back, we get we sit down there.

There's a lot of swamp. And then to the right was here and my little kid, she grabs her phone, you know, you know, she's going at it, going at it, and so I runs in and she's getting her phone ready, you know, take videos. I runs in the grass of my binocoar got some nikons. I was like, oh my, I couldn't believe it. I comes out there and I'm scanning down through there and she's taking her phone. She says, oh, I hope this was running. She didn't even know she had it eyes.

It was probably because you could see through that swamp and there was a little swell with that like cat tails stuff out there. It's quite a way's way. It's probably about hundred fifty yards in there. I see there's big foot. All I can see is his butt, his calfs, his feet, his legs, his darves. He's walking away from me, and he's wide and he's I mean, he was built like a brick house. I ain't never seen anything built like this, you know. Yeah, see, he really.

Look here, look her up before he walks off, because he was big, man. I mean, you could see the bullges in his back, the muscles in his back. He could see his button, the biggest buttocks I've ever seen ever. I mean, I mean, I mean, the muscles. It was just crazy. And there's calves down here where Steed are. They were sticking way out like this and back like a football or not in a football, I would say, a basketball, but bigger.

1:50:41 You know, it was just massive. This thing was massive. I was like, holy cramp. And she's all she just said here about herself. That came around if it's working or not that uh, you know. The meantime, she's scanning this round and then she said, well, I like anything. She pushed the button and she's scanning back and forth with this thing because they would heard them whoops, you know, and she looked in closer to us. There was these like trees that thumb over and stuff. But you could see a little bit of aunonymous stuff. Here was the female and the two babies real clear, but you could tell there's something there because it wasn't there after the fact.

And she didn't get that sticker on camera. I was like, holy claps. She go look at the I know what, and she won't get off of that. I was like, man, come on, I want I want a copy of that, you know, and she won't get off of it and never give mecause, well that baby picture is a good one. That's you just can't his face and everything. I know.

I didn't want to mention that, but anyway, but I didn't want to just I was having a cutter outside of her house and he would not. There was nothing else but a would not. Here's the thing about that. People start after you have an experience. They're not looking for that when when they don't know about.

My other sister from floorer was up there. When we got there, I told you about the chair being gone, right, the green chair out of the four chairs were gone. Yep, we couldn't nowhere. Well, the next day I come out and I'm I'm splitting a little with my wood splitter.

And I just got them maybe two pieces of wood. Here comes my sister out of the cabin screaming at me. Hey, hey, I go I shoved the flat. See where did you find your care? I goes, what care? I look now? I said, what I'm talking with them? Not even a minute? Where's your care come from? She didn't put it there?

Okay that this story here is at the cabin. This is one of the scariest things that ever happened to me. But it was a big fun, guaranteed, guaranteed. I'm diving in the in the guy a ways to bring one year? Was that? Uh? No, no, no, that was it was after it was fixed. I went up there the check on everything, make sure everything was good. The logs in the driveway. Here as these old dogs that I cut, you know, I push them off the side. Well, I didn't push them off side, just they dropped them off the side of the driveway. Here they were picked up two in the you know how you drive up the lane like a two track. Two of them this way, and then two christs because they put X on the top of it, right by the other path that goes off to the left. And look, tell you what was that.

And I's like, and I want to move them things, and I couldn't because they were soaking wet. There were big popple trees. I mean they were long ten foot long and they're hard to move by hand. And I was like what I said, Well, I finally got got the smart idea of get out of my button, rolled them off on my feet the top ones, rolled them up to the side. Then I rolled the other two off right and I got through there with my truck. Well, in the meantime, I called my sister right and I'm thinking myself, I'm talking after I did this, I called her, I'm helping him. Puffing, man, you ain't gonna believe it sometimes blocking me going fire in the big foot and there probably And I got looking up that other road that goes all the way around the property there too. They're still on the ground a little bit, just you know, maybe half inch or so.

1:56:40 And I see these footpets from the distance, but I can you know, I knew they weren't there, and walked over there. Course, hey, there about five and a half feet apart there in the ground. There's footprints some bigfoot. Okay, there ain't none else has toes. The guy's got pictures of the baby big foot foot branch out back. Well, Mike, I got the one with Mike over here in Ireland too, handprin. Mike's got that handprid. It's like thirteen inches long, like it was a lot of wide. It was a big man. That's a big But anyway, I goes up to the cabin. I'm talking to my ship on the phone, and I pulled in. I turned the talk around and I backed it up towards your door in the cabin, and I was gonna all put the lights on and they take him anything out in there.

1:57:40 And I stand in there talking to her, and all of a sudden, here down here too up and then whip over by the pipeline the right of me that quick and went whoo and you and Michael goes with that. I goes there, you're thinking of that? She said you better get find her here? Yeah, better, And I hung on phone on which I wish I wouldn't have done it. You quote, you wouldn't believe what happened to me after that. All of a sudden, I hang the phone up, and I'm like, I went to go ahead for the truck cause I'm standing and looking shit if I can see these things and I can't see them. All of a sudden, there's thing screamed so loud it hurt my hair, my ears.

1:58:29 I thought they were bleeding. I ain't kidd you hurt that pad. I had to cover my ears and if I braded my chest and my body and I can't see it. Where in the heck was was? It was probably the mother yelling at the kids to get over there, but it sounds like twenty train horns going off, and I'm my kid here. It was bad. I had a headache. It was like I couldn't believe what happened. I was so scared. I jumped in the truck. It's still going. I mean this was over a minute. This thing was screaming and there ain't nobody in this work. I'm all plus how loud it was. It was like you, I can't explain it. Well, train horns is all I can think of. You can get twenty train horns. And then you go started out rowing and then you go high pitching, and it's like, man, it was just killing me. Man.

1:59:27 And then I got in the truck. I took off by the creek and that and it quit. And I got by the crack had opened up again. It rattled my truck, I mean literally vibrating it. And I have the windows up, but yet it's still allowed as heck. You know. I was like, I come home here with Dean. I said, Dean, I'm not going back. I'm done. I am done. This is it? That that scared me more than seeing one. I ain't kidding that thing that scared me, man, I mean I was so scared. Well three months later it finally went back fainly. I was scared that out of all the sightings and stuff I had, that that that scream just was beyond stupid. That was stupid. Ain't nothing out there could get that loud out. But that's what it was. I know exactly what it was. That's exactly what it was. A bigfoot. What do you think of that one? Guys?

I mean, if other people are experiencing the same things that you are up there, guys, this area has to be just crazy. So now it is. Oh, there's them fishermen down there and where the Manistee River they get rocks throw at them. They get back to Dean. I gotta take a break. Yeah here, so just so much stuff. Just put your hard way. Yeah, it's the busher up at at uh in me sick. We go there. It's a it's a grocery store. But he's got a story. Boy, if you can get a hold of him. He he said that they're so thick from here, Yeah, from here to Cadillac.

I mean, and that's why they name because there's a bar there called the buck Snort and. The back of there. I mean, so many people have run into this thing because he goes into trash cans back there, okay, and uh the big yeah, so a lot of people have seen him. That's I mean, like I said, they got a name for the thing. They call him the marilla gorilla, and uh. Yeah, the egg Lady has I mean, yeah, we got We've had a lot of stuff happening, like, uh, just so many things.

When he was by the trash cankers, that was up closer point well at the cabin when it looked in my face, I was only that his face when it came down. I'm probably only three feet away from my face, looking. To be square in the eye, square in the eye, face to face. Nobody's gonna tell me they don't exist or they look like a man. This is gorilla gorilla. You know. I've seen one that looked kind of like an orangutang too. Oh really, where where was that?

And like I said, it being a geneticist, like I know that I believe that they can express all the different combinations of different traits of the grade eights, all of them. I believe they express all because. We found footprints with the thumb on it, like like like a chimpanzee or or a griller would have. Yeah, and like I said, a lot of these dog men, I believe it's if you look up danal Pithecus, you'll see this of prehistoric uh bab boon. I mean, you know a lot of these people they don't have no clue what a bab boon looks like.

You know, I'm sure that that's probably common knowledge, but a lot of people don't don't go in and they don't get into it. Oh, then Norman at the cabinet, we needn't tell you, but uh, he's seen two of the little ones and they were playing out there. They were orange. You looked like a little monkeys. Oh wow, so looks like yeah, that's how you said there were only one. Okay, guys, what was I thought it was a fox squirrel?

2:04:18 First? Yeah, I was on the yellow door, olden and it was swinging tree the tree, and I got looking at a hip cup more like a monkey than it does a squirrel. And then it came down and thak tree where I was at probably only about a lot of an old probably twenty yards for me, and it came down and when it came out, I know a weighed at least ninety pounds or more. They had a tail it. This is what it was to me, a bad boom, exactly like a bad boot. I mean they seem me. It turned to looked at me, it took off running all fours in. It was gone in a slickingy split. Yeah. They are quick, man, I mean that thing was so fast.
