Have me launch on our pickup truck. An elderly couple. Well, I guess they wouldn't list seventies. I think I don't know. I didn't get their age, but they stopped in front of my truck and they on my waist shield. I got, I got out to me and my name on there says, so you know swamp Dog on it.

1:15 So you know. But anyway, they stopped and he made to saw it and the guy pulled up on my truck and he says, are you the swamp dog that was on the podcast A big Foot Society. I looked at it. I looked at my wife. I said yeah, why he says, uh, that was a He said that was a good podcasting. Well, anyway, he him and his wife just stepped out of the truck and we got out. We just got done on us anyway, and I was having my coffee even though it was nine in nine degrees here. But anyway, they would tell him us about Darren count I asked him if I could record it, and he didn't want me to record it and everything, but it was okay for me to write it down. He gave me his first name and his wife's first name, but he didn't want He said, if I called you and I just told you about the story, he didn't want me to give you his real name. So but I can't understand that.

2:29 But yeah, there were elder couple. I'll think it were into seventies, but it was an encounter at this park. All right, brother, have a good night. This is wild. I got a call swamp Dog up. Hello swamp dog, Hey brother, how are you doing. How are you doing? Man, dude, I got your message. That's wild.

3:16 Yeah, yeah, that was weird. I mean, you know, we're on Monday. My wife we we decided to go to Wabble for lunch and may we ordered a couple of hogies and soda and stuff like that, and you know, we went back to the truck and heat and as we're eating your lunch, uh, you meet this older couple. They rolled by and when they saw, uh, you know, a swamp dog on the top of my wish shield, they stopped and the guy goes, you're not the guy that was on the podcast. You know that's froll dog, are you? That says I looked at my wife wife books I told him, yeah, so I was so surprised, so I guess give me. They parked alongside of me and Jermans. They were telling me how good the podcast was and all that stuff, and that's when they was telling us about what happened to them back in nineteen was seventy two. So and right now I'm at the park where they had their encounter. Oh that's awesome. Yeah, it's a park called West side park. It's got it felt like a little

4:46 river to it. It's surrounded about woods all the way around. Actually, earlier today my wife took pictures and if you want her to email eating pictures, it looks like Bobo says, it looks real. Squatch you back here, you know? I mean absolutely? Yeah? How how close is that to where you had stuff happened? All right? Who? Ten minutes? About seven ten minutes? Wow, I'm not too far away from where I had my first accounter, and then when I heard the screams, and then when I've seen it on my bike. I'm not too far away. I'm about less than ten minutes away. Man, you know, swamp dog.

5:43 Before we get into that, people have really been digging your episode, and I don't you probably heard. I had a follow up one from a gentleman named Dominic, who also experienced some screams in a similar area, but down there in South Jersey. Yeah, he's about he's about twenty five miles away from me. Yeah, well, what I think I heard he he wasn't too far away from the pine barrens, So I don't know how close he was to Warden State Bars or what you mean. I don't know, but the way he sounded, I guess he wasn't too far away from the Pine Barons. But when I heard that show, I was like, finally somebody said something. And you know what I mean, like, you know, oh absolutely, and I I don't know if have you been reading the comments as well. I've been reading the comments, okay, on the podcast that I was on, and then I was reading the comments on his podcast.

6:57 There's one I want to call out. It's a gentleman. It's really interesting. I don't think that i'll be able to get him to come on, but the gentleman that had a account encounter in the late nineteen seventies along the Maurice River in Cumberland County. That's a really interesting comment. I'm out of fact this stream that I'm all in here right now that connects to the most river. Wow at this part right now. Yeah, So, I mean, you know, they do a lot of fisting here, they do a lot of kayaking, mostly kayaking. But you mean, I've seen people fishing here. I fished your a few times myself too. I didn't think anybody was gonna like saying anything about this area, but you know what, I'm glad I got on your podcast and now people start coming out, then give me there's you know, I've never had an area where people have come out of the woodwork like they are about this. I had another gentleman contact me who is a it sounds like he's a pretty serious bigfoot researcher, and he's like, I've had weird stuff happen in the pine. Barren's bigfoot stuff, other stuff. I'd love to share it with you. So we're working on that as well. But I mean, it's just taken a whole different,

8:28 uh life of its own with this South New Jersey thing. But swamp Dog, do you do you mind sharing what what this older couple shared with you? Okay? I gave him my word that I would mention their names or anything because they still live in Bowin absolutely And I mean I asked for permission and if I can do me get a hold of you, then let me tell you about this about encounters. Said yeah, they just don't want me to mention their names. The gentlemen, he said, retired your firefighter and his wife is a retired she's a school teacher. And uh, I guess they lived here all their lives he's he's in a hunting and he's in the fishing. I mean they do, I mean they do a lot of outdoor stuff. And uh, well, what happened was back in nineteen seventy two, they were in this park and it's called west Side the Park. It's here in Violand, New Jersey off of Alan Road, and they were fishing.

10:01 They had them doing the folding chairs and when they had the coolers we're snacks and their drinks and they were doing some fishing. And they were here about an hour, right, that's what they said, about an hour, yea, yeah, And what happened was they heard the rustling. I guess it was bother the pickup truck not gonna be or somebody here blowing the horn. Anyway, they they're hearing noises around their pickup truck. So he got out from his chair and he shot the flashlight, but Dreman torres the pickup truck because that here is kind of dark. There's only one light pole and here here enough and so he said it was like a gal or something.

10:52 So he went back to fishing, and he said, about ten minutes later he heard some more rustling, but but it sounded louder, so he didn't know whether it was a deer or it was somebody out in the woods, like a hobo or something. I don't know. So he kind of walked halfway toward his truck and he was shining a flash light around and all I stopped and he didn't see nothing. He couldn't see anything, so he went back to his chair. He went back christ and he said he opened up for Candasota and all that stuff. And then it was about a half hour later they heard something. He said, it was like something that smacked the tree. But he really wasn't shore, but he said something back the tree, and that's when both him and his wife got up and they were walking towards the pickup truck. Then you know, they only had one flashlight.

12:16 Oh and they also had a lantern, but they left it when they were fishing, so I mean they just had the flashlight when they were walking towards back to pick up. So as they were walking through its back to pickup truck, what he said, well, he heard a whole lot of it was like mustling, like like something would move him back there by his pickup truck. So they kept walking towards the pickup truck. And as what they said, when they got to their pickup truck, that's when they heard the treats that. Yeah, it wasn't It was like a give me, like a branch broke, he said. And it was a real loud sound.

13:15 And then they stopped, and you know, she was about to get ready to jump in the truck, but she stayed with him because he had the flashlight. So there they stood there for a few minutes. They didn't hear about them, and he told her, come on, let's go back up. I'll want to get out of here. So they were walking back to the fishing poles and their chairs and the corners and stuff. The rustling and the sounds we get. Yeah, it got louder and louder and louder, and it was it was just her and up. And actually he was upset with himself where he parked the pickoff truck, because he should have parked more towards the middle of the parking lot. But where he parked it wasn't around the edge of the parking lot and up against the woods, you know what I'm saying. So actually I'm looking at the spot where he said he parked this pickoff truck and it's all woods back there. So what happened was when they were walking back to the truck, they didn't put up in the back of the truck. They threw everything in the back of the truck. They jumped in the truck, but she jumped in on the driver's side and he and then he jumped in and I guess the windows were open. He said

14:46 it right, The windows were open up on the door. And as he started the truck up, just before he went to turn the headlights on, they heard a big back on the back of the bed on the passenger's side rigar. And when they heard that, they hurry up and backed up. And then you know, they said, from what they did, from from a little bit of late, but they could use up the headlights. They saw a silhouette and it was about seven seven a half beats all. They said, right, yeah, seven yeah, seven seven half beat tall, and they took off. So when they got home, they went and the back of the truck and they went to see if there was any downs enough, because they say it was a big fang. So when they looked at it, there was a debt on the side of the pickup truck, on the tasker's side like almost towards I mean almost hear the tellies on the back

16:22 of the pickup. They said it was a debt the size of a basketball, I mean that like that big around. So what happened was he had a friend that worked for the Bottle police station, so he called him up as him and his wife went over to their house and they wanted to see the truck, and they were telling him what had happened, and then he was telling them that there was a few police plice officers in the city of Violin that knew about this creature. And I believe he said that's two of them. Wasn't two of them? I've seen him right, Yeah, he said two of the Bottle police officers, including the guy that came over his house that was another police officer. All three of them they have seen this creature here in violence and they knew about it, but they never talked about it, or you mean, they never told anybody about it. I guess because I don't know, maybe they didn't want people to think they were crazy or something. But yeah, well see that was a firefighter, a school

17:52 teacher, and they also told us that you know, three the police officers you ever knew about that at that time, back in nineteen seventy two, So you know, I guess you know, people know about these things, like like the police here, but nobody, nobody has ever said anything or mentioned it or they've never made a report. So that has to show you give me how they looked, you know, I mean, it's incredible swamped. I I mean just to think that. I mean, years and years before you had your sighting there, even the police in that area had been dealing with this perhaps the same creature. We don't know, but in the early maybe late sixties, early seventies, the police knew and man if they're if who knows, maybe these retired individuals are listening to this un ever.

Just I like to know what they know, you know what I mean, because he told me that, You mean, I thought he knew that there were three police officers in violent that knows about this creature that's wild, you know, Yeah, that's uh. And you know, right now I'm in this park where people are leaving because they were kayaking. I guess they were loaded up their pickup trucks and they're even right now. But but it's pretty dark in here. I mean, like I said, there's only one lightbulb, and from when I'm far, I can't I can't see the little river, you know, I make it. It's dark. It's like we caught our water. There's seed of water. Yeah, so you mean it's dark so you can't see it, you know what I mean.

20:12 But there is a trail through here, and yesterday we drove a truck in this trail and it comes to why it's not a long trail. One it's about a mile long, and then the other one's about I said, about a half a mile. But we went back there like in our truck and you mean we're just they're rotting, swelling and something, just looking around to seek about see anything like like tree structures or anything like that. But you know we can see that. I mean, I stayed in the truck, you know. I mean it's because I forgot my spray, you mean, my tick spray, and I didn't want to get out of the truck and get ticks on me. Ye smart, yeah, but yeah, I mean yeah, I just blew my mind. I mean, I mean they just came out and said, well, I'm gonna sell you got what happened to us, you know what I mean. My wife was like, she was like, dump pop. But you know, she was like, so they're telling us the story. I'm looking at my wife. I'm saying, I told you you have me to talk to him about. I told you stop out here, you know what I mean. But yeah, she started to go they'll come around, you know what I mean. I hear you.

21:29 I mean, I guess maybe maybe a few people listen to this. After all, who knows swamp Doug, you know, But yeah, I mean I think I mean, you know, I don't know, you know what I mean? So you mean that on me I've got to all these people and like like they stopped in front of my truck and says, are you just swamp? So I listened to podcast big I said, yeah, you know what I mean, and you mean at first, I was kind of like scared to say, yeah, you know what I'm making. I don't know what they were gonna say, Well, you have tom on your trucks. Yeah I know, yeah, yeah, but I was kind of scared of saying yeah, that was me, you know what I mean, but you know what I'm saying, because you know, you never know what people want saying or you know what I'm saying. But yeah, but my wife was like, you know, she's like, it's like your famous. No, I'm like, I don't think so. But you know, that was one couple of you know who I was listening here. You honestly never know.

But yeah, I was just mean I heard that and I'm like I was I was like, I was kind of not excited, but I mean I was like, in my mind, I'm thinking myself, now it was since we did the podcast that day, Now people maybe coming out, you know, what I mean. I just wished to get a hold of you know, mean, like that one guy you were talking about about the Morris whatever. M h, I hear, You'd love to hear what he had. Yeah, I even message him on that thing there, the one that you wrote to get a hold of year I said about yo, please get a hold of job of mile, you know, or something like that I wrote. You know, but I'm talking back to you ideas I was hoping he did. Why is why do you think it's Why is it important that people just contact me via email and start the conversation? Why?

23:33 Why is that important? Because it's like I said the other day. You remember when I said about knowledge absolutely, knowledge is everything. Like I told you where I had my encounters, right, and then the other gentleman, you're you're a dominic he told you where he had his encounter. Now and this guy would tell you his encounter and where it happened. If we're going to start to study this thing, we should know where these encounters happened, so we could go there and maybe research or not mean just other people too, you know what I'm saying. I mean, you know, knowledge is everything? Knowledge is everything? You know what I mean it's like yeah, and then like you know what I mean. I'm gonna tell you something too. My wife can tell you more about this because I was in North Carolina when it happened, but it was about two years ago. Or there's a little girl disappeared and she was in the city of you know, Pritch in New Jersey. It's about fifteen twenty minutes from here. Yeah, it's

25:07 a big park, all wooded area. I fished there, I had hunted there well. At the time. I had a job in North Carolina and I was working out the Deesel mechanic And anyway, this little girl went missing, no trace. They didn't know what happened. But she was playing in the park on the swings or something. Yeah. It was a little brother and her mother was in the car and I guess she was given texting on the phone and stuff and she wasn't paying attention and she looked up and the little girl was missing. I mean they had a big I mean, everybody was looking for this little girl for a while, like a week or two, I don't yeah, And it was about doing a door, say Maria.

26:08 And they still haven't found this with the girl. I mean I'm not saying that she was kidnapped by a victor, but you never know, you know what I'm trying to say. All these four World one stories you hear about people going missing, like in parts and stuff and kids going missing and they're never found and then they found their stuff a year or two later, eight miles up the road, you know what I mean. So my feelings is, if you know something, you should say something because you never know.

26:48 It might help a case and may help somebody doing research. And how are we supposed to learn more about these creatures if everybody keeps the mouth shut? I like that swamp dog. If you know something, say something. Absolutely, there's more, there's more to stake here than we may realize. Yes, I mean, you never know. I mean, I'm not saying like I'm saying. I mean, I don't know why I'm in this little girl because I was in North Carolina, But you never know. I mean, you know, this is another four one one as a missing person. And how old most she was? She was six years old? Six years old, you know what I mean? So you know you never know?

27:37 You know what I'm saying. I mean, you know that's what I say. If you know something. You got to say something, you know, I like it. I like it, man, I'm stay quiet. It's I might start using that swamp dog. Actually, if you know something, say something that's that's pretty solid. Man, I love it. Uh yeah, yeah. Oh. And they also used when they were looking for this little girl. They they also used the kirk Daver dogs and they never got a set. So like you were bringing them, the dogs were useless, my wife said, because the dogs never got my mom and my wife and my father he was alive by the time. They were part of the citizens that were helping searching for this little girl. And this girl, she's just like I was actually banished because not even the dogs got a set. So you know, you never know. I mean, you know, I'm saying I'm not saying that was big Foot, But then I'm I'm also saying you never know. I mean absolutely yeah, I mean yeah. And it's like, you know, we're right here, we're parked in this part. My

29:10 wife got her door open, and uh, it's it's really dark back here. Yeah. That's only one of the lights one, I mean one and the one of the poles with life on it. It was the only one of them over here. But oh you hear us the cricae and stuff, and that's it. Yeah, well we're sitting here, I mean, you know, yeah, I don't see what happens. But yeah, that was their counter, and you mean I was, I was. I was kind of happy they stopped. I mean, but I know it's the way the guy says, are you the swading them? Was on the podcast A big puss I said, yeah, I said, yeah, that was me wise because I want to talk to you, like, Okay, that's amazing.

I have a feeling it's more is going to come out about South Jersey in Bigfoot, and we have no idea where this is going. So pretty well, I'm alive a throng as we're still living here in New Jersey. Can remember I said I was moving to eastern Tennessee exactly, but I don't know where because my back issues. I don't know where they would do my surgery. So I mean, I don't know when I'm moving to Tennessee. But a throng as I can and my back, it's gonna be allows me to I'm gonna, I mean, I'm gonna start, you know, doing a little bit of research around herself, you know, and yeah, I mean just to see what I was I can find out, you know, absolutely, you never know what you what you'll find once you start looking. Man, I don't know. I'm just saying I'm hoping, you know, but you know what I mean, all this is a lot of woods back here. I mean, when my wife emails you the pictures of this park right here, you're gonna be like, this looks like Boggy Creek back here, Like you mean, you're gonna be like, man, this looks like Boggy Creek. You know what I mean?
