0:43 First. Starts out with a quick discussion in Ronnie's car about the Honey Island swamp monster and sometimes it's okay to say that you were wrong. I think that's an important conversation that was that was recorded. After that, you'll you'll hear a interview quick interview up by the oak Hole I did with Don Monroe. Apologies. Wood, and he he's cutting and then he kind of got a viewing. He looks up and what he had interprets as a man standing up on this bluff about sixty feet away. So he went back and cutting, and then he thought him better take another look. He took the luck. He stood un, took goggles off, and it was.

He left his tools and saw everything jumping his big up and he was making dust. He called the police department to turn the escort him to go back and and get his kid his tools. Wow. Yeah, there's so many stories out here. It's it's wild. Yeah, there's something living out here. Are what I want to us of these guys, Am and his daughter.

Well amongst all this wilderness that I was born here, I grew up here, I'm here with my brother and my dad.

10:35 There are tracks about the five that I. Know or knew of there everywhere for one hundred feet that direction and one hundred feet that direction. Everywhere. There was not an inch of ground that wasn't at their tracks. The big guy twenty three inches a lot. I think it is the old lady who with fifteen inches and young adults their tracks were all of them were there for I've never heard. Or seen anything like that. They don't do that normally, do. They I don't know, not really there they're not, They're not. Really. They got about a lot of tracks. I'll see.

11:19 I've seen the big guys several times, but he usually be in a series. A few tracks, nothing like this. It was crazy and uh. That's something different. Yeah, So I'm wondering. I think that's where they were whipping and stuff when we were getting along and was playing this singing. I think it was right there, And I was wondering if it wasn't a sign that let. Me know that they were here. You know, I don't know, but they why. Can't make sense out of it? Well, you know, think about it. We know that they can holler. We know that they leave tracks and all. These things, if done in an access would would bring in people on them, I know.

12:00 So I'm thinking it was specifically for me because they wouldn't do that normally. And I had been an before the fire. I was up here for over three months. They were waiting for me. Every time I come up here, I gifted them and then I would turn on and sing and they would start whooping, and we sing together. For as long as I was here, and they was always waiting for me. So when the fire separated this and I come back in and now my birth. They got their tracks burn hundred feet every different direction, and I know that's the area where they were whooping from. And I know they were moving back and forth while they were whooping. So I know I'm speculating that they wanted me to see. That's to let me know they were here, you know what I mean. I want to engage myself. I don't want to sound too crazy, mild case.

Get so many people I'd take up in these lakes because we two short cuts. You know, the trail is seven to twelve miles long in these Dixon But if you take a short cut, if you're learn half. The time, you know, uh huh. But people who say anything you can go through the woods can't really do it, and then we spend all of our time looking for them instead of fishing. Right. I was up with that guy that Galla's mountains. What kind of fishing y'all got around here? Uh? Urus, browns and brook trout, green bowl, trailt baths.

It would have been nice to see it went up before the dam and it was all blowing. Yeah, that would have been. They say they're eventually gonna get all those damns a little. I want to see my little country come back to it. So I don't think I want to get to see that, but maybe my grandkids will. M h.

I had a poor bed Drew House was fretting off my hand. Big House hired him in the porch by the water here, which was a long way from my bedroom one bedroom that was in the front out. Of the four bedroom. And I didn't know. You have to feed those little guys about three or four times through the night. And that rabbit got out of that uh fugility room and found my bed. He was I heard scratching on the wall in the middle of the night, and then the little bunny was looking for him to be fed.

18:27 He found me. I got him in a bottle. Betty put him back, and I'd got the habit of feed him about three tons a night or the next night. He cover two nights he was scratching on the wall. But the next night he was pulling my on my uh uh blanket, waking me up and uh. The a little guy who got older and older had a couple of ducks by think of a chicken in the yard. And he started growing and growing and growing and bigger was up breaking Jack Rabbit, Oh he had, yeah, go into a beautiful jack rabbit Jack Jack. Yeah. What are you gonna call him after that?

Before everything started here. Before people started coming up, a. Daughter came up there to that area to get moss.

They had the grand granddaughter to the song You Got Nervous, don her. They decided to leave. While they drive out, they're looking back and three of these creatures were at the exact same spot where they're pulling the Moss watched them drive away. Next morning, me him and his daughter went back in there in the track for there the knee, says daughter. Found that tell a beautiful track.

What's this leafy stuff on the ground? Is that skut cabbage? No? Not right, here's Oregon grave and uh bader gin drums. Yeah, the ferns. It's that road goes back up in there, just like a good lady. 22:39 Thank goodness. They got that fire put out. It was a doozy. Had a hull, so uh kind of messed us up for a while. Of course, you know what I'm Since I was a kid, I've seen a few fires. I guess. Creatures coming camp beans. I can't make things going down there with And got down to the bottom of the trail and make camp the night. They bother me. Right, So I was right down there past the meadow, ye.

I have six bananas down here in the tree. I told the trip back. He didn't do it. They put him all the face the same way. Came back and were dawn, and one was on top of his car on the driver's side. We had Todd with us, a different kind of proaches and here's from here trap Toddyes, parked right. There, the biggest track in the field, parked right here. And I came up in the evening with one can of beer. I put it down a paper sack by my back tire. They said, we gone out in the woods.

24:02 Come back and buy a fire, a little fire down there down there somewhere. Yeah, and uh. I said, we had no food here for you guys. And he said, I got some. Ton said in the car. I got that truck. I got a lunch. This is good. He's up share with you. He went down and got the lunch. No, he got the car. He found a kind of beer lunch sack. Oh boy, out of the sack, no sack, rush gone the saucequatch there stole a frigging beer, really, and they took it and put in his car, took his lunch in my sack and left as head of beer. He brought it to me. It wasn't open, no way.

24:42 That's the truth. Dwayne watched as he walks out there, just in kids. So when last year Dwayne actually had a sighting, it was right twelve o'clock towards those two trees at the edge of the meadow. You you know, you know, yeah, five years ago. Well, he walked in about twenty feet in that brush back there. I found tracks in that same vicenity. Low. Yeah, I found tracks right back there last year the sage Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I don't miss much. Yeah, but I got to finally see them. Well, at first, I was like, you, is that a bear? Like looked like it did this weird jump and it didn't make sense to me. I was gonna instantly confused.

25:23 It just something didn't look right. But I've seen something with air in it. And then everybody come up. The bushes were so tall, I knew it was nothing short. And they found tracks up there in that way. Yeah, I stirty. I got to tell the crowd. I'm not much of a speaker, I will speak. I just that was truth. But the sure was wearing the color and red red kind of coror. It wasn't red with kind of a like strawberry color or something. I forget, it's kind of a maroon. I was gonna tell him about that white tailed deer and bears. And they see better than you think. We'll say the range at fifty yard drop, they can still see you. And uh, I noticed that sauage ones too can't see that caloroon color in the shadows because of matches statistical as black does.

26:12 It's a variation they don't see too often. I remember money hunting guy, you know, years ago I took guys were many bearehouse successful And uh, I've noticed this. After a snowstorm in Montana, we work the kind of hating. It's not after snowstorm. The snow's going plump plump, plup PLoP, you know what I mean in the woods, right, and that's when deer we again moving around. They're not so sure of what caused mat noise, right, they know, but they don't know. So when the snowfalls into your hat, you got a chance to getting one of them. They play fox and geese in a given area. The Sawas squads are the same thing. If you scare them over your here, then you go there. Might follow you there and you go there. You might run it. One may give an area in the evening or when you think they're around and leave where you go something you might want to take back with them. Right, you've got ten Hamburgers just for dapple. Wouldn't be that, but put one or three year and one hour stuff. After a while, some of them are gone, right, and they get tempted because enough channel out there. They might get hungry after a while. Jeremiah, okay away from what was your home?

Honey, keep my story shut, but slow whatever. But I I didn't get better or nothing. I stayed there for a long time to get done. That's when I had some whiskey.

31:01 I was there for two days. Guts got stuck. I'm trying to make the short but uh. The second day, I was looking proved again away from the rattle Saint round. I went out a hundred miles different because I figured they barked me ben l local people in hunting states and the asion. So I went way out pound. I was looking trying to get some double mountains. Got stuck with my flower drive in a cattle area and I was already I'd like seventy miles from the nearest place way out in the country. Going out and got stuck. Dug got all four wheels for the coffee there. I had a There was three tornadoes sit down fifteen miles away, and I'm there.

31:45 They the guy had a tornado shelter. I was there for a night one day, another the night, and the next day, and I only had. One sandwich with me in a big bottle of whiskey, Jack danners along the sandwich. I was gone. Uh. I was worried because getting long whiskey. But I had run the guys, the guy that had some stuff around there. There were no buildings, but he had a track there and run it down. To the hill because I wanted to the second day, I. Gotta get out of here, you know, Uh, I run it down the hills, didn't start. I was gonna try to pull my cow goot drive out. And so the next day I'm standing on the road. He was trying to Actually, I wrote a song when I was standing there, nothing else.

32:31 To do all day, and I see dust blind. I'm seventy miles from nowhere, and here he was, that guy at the long traction. He was coming up. I didn't I see it in the dust. And a long time and here I see. That track there pelling that I had run down the day before, down the hill, and he didn't say a word. He passed me up, went and pulled my four wheel out and came back out, and uh, I stopped. To me, Can I keep going? I said, Can I pay you or something? But I didn't know it said the only thing you did when you run my track your down heels. You didn't turn this swing. Shit, And.

33:13 What are you doing out here where a rattle stick ins? So well, you go down that gully back about you and two others beating up the right. You'll see a big call that's got two interesting. There should be a couple other rattlesticks. Yeah two h I got eighteen up now that I was there half a drinking day, and I've only got so much whiskey left, and. Some of them are coming out and I'm done stead eighteen. There should be a lot more down in there. So I crawled down and there was about that much room. I crawled ten. Feet down in there. Take a look. I got it all of a sudden, open up into a cavern and there was a rats nest, a drinking eye, three rattlesnakes right on the top. He has looked it right at me, as big as my sister was, and they're looking at me, and the rattle stake calling everywhere.

I wish i'd had a picture of that cottles all over the prism of life. Anyway, I had those eighteen rattle states. Can you drop me off here? This is Priscilla's house, right, yeah, yeah, I will. 34:44 Yeah, next time I'll get I'll give this the story up later. You got you got any part? A few of you might be thinking, okay, well, did anything actually happen up there at o Cole beside you being in able to talk to Don Monroe about an interesting thing that happened to him. Yes, a few things did happen, and I'll go over those now. Did not have a recorder with me during that time, but we will go ahead and talk about that. So during the time that I was walking around up at Oakle with the individuals that you just heard, there was a time when I did decide to do an experiment by myself outside of recorded means. So I went down to a meadow in the Oakol area verbally asked out loud, if you're here, please make a noise. After I did that, I heard back by the main group by the for service road, I heard what sounded like a large wluff noise.

35:48 I then went back to the main group and asked if they had heard that noise, which no one had heard that same noise. I then walked behind the original meadow that you've probably seen in videos or photographs of oakhol last year, where there were tracks found by myself, Cliff, and Denise. And when I was back in the woods behind there, I said again, if you're here making noise. I said that verbally out loud. Immediately after asking. I then heard a series of wood knocks from further in the woods, approximately thirty feet from where I stood. I then asked the same question, if you're here making noise out loud, and then received the same response, and both times this is within half a second immediate response. There was nobody else with me in that section of woods, and nobody else heard the knocks. After I checked back in with the group, Dwayne did report that he had also heard a loudstick crack in whistles at times. Unfortunately, at this time we did not have a Denise up with us, who usually when she is present, the activity seems to be more ramped up. Younger Dawn and the cattle dog reported hearing a low growl as they walked through the woods in a different area of vocol and they heard woodknocks as well.
