In this episode, we hear from Travis, an experienced outdoorsman from Oregon who has spent a lifetime hunting deep in the backwoods of Douglas County. During a blacktail hunt with his teenage son in 2020, what began as a quiet morning miles behind a locked gate turned into something neither of them could explain.

While standing on a remote logging road, Travis watched a towering, jet-black figure step down a hillside and cross directly in front of them. At that same moment, his son—facing the opposite direction—was seeing something just as real moving behind a nearby tree. Two witnesses, two separate figures, one shared location in the middle of the forest.

As they gathered themselves and searched the area, they expected to confirm what they had just experienced. The ground was soft enough to hold their own footprints. The path of travel was clear. Yet there was nothing left behind.

Travis walks us through every detail of that morning, the way the figure moved, the silence that followed, and the realization that something had been there with them the entire time.

1
00:00:00.160 --> 00:00:03.120
You're listening to Biglea Society, and I'm Jeremiah Byron. In

2
00:00:03.160 --> 00:00:05.879
this show, we go beyond the campfire stories to bring

3
00:00:05.879 --> 00:00:08.720
you first hand encounters from people who say they've seen

4
00:00:08.839 --> 00:00:12.880
something impossible. From backwoods trails and remote mountain haulers to

5
00:00:12.960 --> 00:00:16.719
quiet farms and crowded highways. The stories come from everywhere,

6
00:00:16.760 --> 00:00:19.719
and each one leaves us with more questions than answers.

7
00:00:20.719 --> 00:00:24.000
These are the voices of the people who've lived it.

8
00:00:24.079 --> 00:00:27.440
To settle in, because today you'll hear another account that

9
00:00:27.600 --> 00:00:30.120
just might change the way you see the woods forever.

10
00:00:30.440 --> 00:00:32.799
So stay with us, all right, Big for Society, Welcome

11
00:00:32.799 --> 00:00:34.880
back to another episode. I've got the privilege of talking

12
00:00:34.880 --> 00:00:39.320
to Travis today. Travis is an outdoorsman from Oregon, and

13
00:00:39.399 --> 00:00:44.320
he'll be sharing a encounter that he had pretty far

14
00:00:44.399 --> 00:00:49.200
out in the woods and it'll be a very interesting discussion.

15
00:00:49.200 --> 00:00:50.479
But thank you for coming on the show.

16
00:00:50.479 --> 00:00:50.799
Travis.

17
00:00:50.840 --> 00:00:52.679
How are you doing today, sir, I'm doing good.

18
00:00:52.719 --> 00:00:53.560
Thanks for having me.

19
00:00:55.240 --> 00:01:00.159
We talked a little bit about this off air, and

20
00:01:00.240 --> 00:01:02.880
you had mentioned one thing that I was just like,

21
00:01:02.960 --> 00:01:08.799
oh man, when one person sees something in the other,

22
00:01:09.280 --> 00:01:12.439
it sounds like it's going to be a very interesting encounter.

23
00:01:12.599 --> 00:01:14.680
So I want to make sure that we have the

24
00:01:14.719 --> 00:01:18.480
time to discuss what you experienced, and we'll be talking

25
00:01:18.480 --> 00:01:20.560
along the way. But I want to make sure, Travis,

26
00:01:20.599 --> 00:01:22.439
is there anything else that listeners would need to know

27
00:01:22.439 --> 00:01:25.640
about you for context that I haven't covered already.

28
00:01:26.680 --> 00:01:28.599
No, I don't think so perfect.

29
00:01:29.319 --> 00:01:32.799
All right, well, let's make the best use of your time,

30
00:01:32.840 --> 00:01:34.879
and again, thank you for taking some time out of

31
00:01:34.920 --> 00:01:37.079
your day, Travis. But feel free to take us back

32
00:01:37.120 --> 00:01:40.159
to you know, where you were what was going on

33
00:01:40.519 --> 00:01:41.879
when you had this experience.

34
00:01:43.200 --> 00:01:46.920
Yeah, so my son and I were, you know, going out,

35
00:01:46.920 --> 00:01:50.640
we're going out blacktail hunting, and we were, like I

36
00:01:50.719 --> 00:01:54.760
told you, were out in the romy Howard area, romy

37
00:01:54.760 --> 00:02:00.760
Howard Road around Yoncala area in Douglas County. And uh,

38
00:02:01.439 --> 00:02:03.560
this this area that we were hunting is behind a

39
00:02:03.599 --> 00:02:06.959
locked gate and so I have seen a few other

40
00:02:07.079 --> 00:02:11.159
rigs there before. And so we got there, you know,

41
00:02:11.240 --> 00:02:15.159
probably a half hour before dark, and you know, as

42
00:02:15.159 --> 00:02:18.000
soon as it was light enough to see, we started in.

43
00:02:20.439 --> 00:02:24.240
You know, this particular spot behind this gate you can

44
00:02:24.319 --> 00:02:28.439
walk in for probably about three and a half miles,

45
00:02:29.560 --> 00:02:32.879
and so we started in and uh, I want to

46
00:02:32.919 --> 00:02:36.800
say when this happened. We were probably about two miles

47
00:02:36.840 --> 00:02:41.560
in so it had probably been light out for oh,

48
00:02:41.639 --> 00:02:48.360
I don't know, probably about forty five minutes. And as

49
00:02:48.360 --> 00:02:50.159
far as like what the weather was, so it had

50
00:02:50.240 --> 00:02:54.639
rained pretty good the night before, and but it was

51
00:02:54.960 --> 00:02:57.159
it was a little bit foggy, but as far as

52
00:02:58.680 --> 00:03:01.280
you know, being able to see, we could see clearly.

53
00:03:01.560 --> 00:03:08.240
You know, we're walking in this this road. And we

54
00:03:08.400 --> 00:03:13.039
had came to a corner in the road and had

55
00:03:13.120 --> 00:03:18.800
turned looking down this straight stretch of this road, and

56
00:03:21.199 --> 00:03:26.240
my son was facing me, and I'm looking facing him.

57
00:03:26.360 --> 00:03:29.159
I'm looking to my left and he's facing me. He's

58
00:03:29.240 --> 00:03:33.560
looking to his right, and we had stopped because I

59
00:03:33.719 --> 00:03:36.439
just kind of stopped for a kind of a teaching moment.

60
00:03:36.520 --> 00:03:38.840
I was explaining to him, you know, we want to

61
00:03:38.879 --> 00:03:40.960
walk out to the to the far corner of the

62
00:03:41.039 --> 00:03:45.360
road so we may may have an opportunity to catch

63
00:03:45.400 --> 00:03:48.639
something crossing the road or standing in the road, you know.

64
00:03:50.319 --> 00:03:53.039
And as we were facing each other, you know, I'm

65
00:03:53.080 --> 00:04:00.000
whispering to him. He's he's quiet. And so this road

66
00:04:00.120 --> 00:04:03.000
does a straight stretch in this area, it's a straight

67
00:04:03.039 --> 00:04:07.319
stretch and then it goes up to it would go

68
00:04:07.439 --> 00:04:10.800
elevate and go up to the right at about eighty

69
00:04:10.840 --> 00:04:14.879
two one hundred yards. And as I was standing there

70
00:04:14.919 --> 00:04:18.839
explaining to him, you know, just like I said at

71
00:04:18.839 --> 00:04:25.680
this teaching moment, I see this figure walking down the hill,

72
00:04:27.319 --> 00:04:31.680
jet black, you know, probably in between seven and eight

73
00:04:31.720 --> 00:04:39.399
feet like definitely cone shaped head. And as I'm talking

74
00:04:39.439 --> 00:04:43.079
and I see this thing start to come down the hill,

75
00:04:46.720 --> 00:04:51.040
I just can I stopped talking and I'm watching it.

76
00:04:51.439 --> 00:04:53.879
And as I'm watching it, I mean i can see

77
00:04:53.879 --> 00:04:58.600
it clear as day and I'm looking. I was, you know,

78
00:04:58.680 --> 00:05:00.600
we're hunting, and so I'm looking to see if I

79
00:05:00.600 --> 00:05:03.240
had a like if this was a person that had,

80
00:05:03.360 --> 00:05:05.759
you know, a rifle in his hand. I was looking

81
00:05:05.800 --> 00:05:10.160
for boots. I was looking. I had just completely stopped talking.

82
00:05:11.279 --> 00:05:13.639
I was trying to figure out what I was looking at.

83
00:05:14.759 --> 00:05:18.879
And in my silence, as I was standing there watching

84
00:05:18.959 --> 00:05:25.240
this thing, my son just completely melts down. I mean,

85
00:05:25.279 --> 00:05:29.800
he's like, what the f is that? He breaks down, crying,

86
00:05:29.920 --> 00:05:33.879
get me out of here. He started to bolt, and

87
00:05:33.920 --> 00:05:37.600
I put my hand on him and stopped him. And

88
00:05:37.639 --> 00:05:42.879
I'm still watching, and I watched this thing come down

89
00:05:42.879 --> 00:05:48.079
the hill, come off of the road into it like

90
00:05:48.160 --> 00:05:52.319
cross off of the road into the ditch and basically

91
00:05:52.439 --> 00:05:56.639
just walk out into the fur in the ferns and

92
00:05:57.800 --> 00:06:00.839
in the ditch along the road up through there, there

93
00:06:00.920 --> 00:06:06.040
was these markers, these white plastic markers that are stuck

94
00:06:06.120 --> 00:06:08.439
down in the ditches and they have a little red

95
00:06:08.519 --> 00:06:15.319
mark and this, you know, this bigfoot had walked right

96
00:06:15.439 --> 00:06:18.800
behind this marker, so I knew exactly where he had

97
00:06:18.879 --> 00:06:24.759
crossed off of the road and came off and walked

98
00:06:24.759 --> 00:06:29.879
off the road into the trees. You know. Meanwhile, my

99
00:06:30.000 --> 00:06:33.279
son is he's he's completely he's crying, he's flipping out,

100
00:06:33.360 --> 00:06:35.680
get me out of here. I'm telling him, you know,

101
00:06:35.800 --> 00:06:39.839
be quiet. I thought it was kind of interesting. He

102
00:06:40.079 --> 00:06:42.920
literally yelled out about as loud as he could yell.

103
00:06:43.519 --> 00:06:46.879
And this thing did not even look at me, didn't

104
00:06:46.920 --> 00:06:51.959
look at us, nothing, didn't turn its head. And it

105
00:06:52.079 --> 00:06:54.040
just walked. Yeah, I just you know, walked out into

106
00:06:54.079 --> 00:06:56.279
the trees. And I could hear it walking out through

107
00:06:56.839 --> 00:06:59.800
the bruh out through the where it walked into was

108
00:06:59.800 --> 00:07:05.959
probably it's second growth for and uh in ferns. I mean,

109
00:07:06.040 --> 00:07:09.720
you know, just really kind of an open clear like

110
00:07:09.759 --> 00:07:12.480
I say, there's only just for u for trees. And

111
00:07:12.519 --> 00:07:15.439
ferns in there, but I could hear it walking through

112
00:07:15.480 --> 00:07:19.959
the ferns, and you know, my son's looking at me

113
00:07:20.040 --> 00:07:22.560
and he's like, you know, what do we you know,

114
00:07:22.600 --> 00:07:24.319
why are we still here? What do we doing? You know,

115
00:07:24.399 --> 00:07:28.160
he's freaking, just completely freaking out. And I said, I'm

116
00:07:28.160 --> 00:07:30.079
going to stand here for twenty minutes. We're going to

117
00:07:30.160 --> 00:07:32.680
give this, you know, we're going to give us twenty minutes,

118
00:07:33.680 --> 00:07:36.680
and we're going to walk down there and look for tracks,

119
00:07:36.720 --> 00:07:38.399
like I want to, you know what I want to.

120
00:07:38.639 --> 00:07:40.639
I want to see tracks. I want to see what

121
00:07:40.680 --> 00:07:47.439
I'm looking at. And so, you know, I just trying

122
00:07:47.519 --> 00:07:53.000
to calm him down and uh, you know, waiting and

123
00:07:53.600 --> 00:07:57.560
just really just kind of sitting there looking at each other,

124
00:07:57.759 --> 00:07:59.639
and I'm you know, he's got tier effer running down

125
00:07:59.639 --> 00:08:03.279
his face. Looking back on it now, I kind of

126
00:08:03.279 --> 00:08:06.680
feel like, man, you know, I was I wrong by

127
00:08:07.279 --> 00:08:11.279
keeping in there and you know, wanting to see, you know,

128
00:08:11.920 --> 00:08:14.000
go look for tracks, you know what I mean. And

129
00:08:15.959 --> 00:08:18.800
so we just stood there, you know, waiting for twenty minutes,

130
00:08:18.839 --> 00:08:23.319
and I mean exactly twenty minutes. I was basically like,

131
00:08:23.439 --> 00:08:27.839
let's go look for tracks, and like I said, this

132
00:08:27.839 --> 00:08:30.959
this thing came down the hill and cross the road

133
00:08:30.959 --> 00:08:34.519
in front of us. That probably I would say, you know,

134
00:08:34.639 --> 00:08:38.279
eighty two one hundred yards pretty close to that. And

135
00:08:40.639 --> 00:08:43.519
so right at twenty minutes, I say, all right, let's go,

136
00:08:44.440 --> 00:08:48.200
and so I go walking down the road and I

137
00:08:48.240 --> 00:08:51.320
walk right up to where that post was in the ditch,

138
00:08:52.159 --> 00:08:57.039
and I start looking for tracks, and you know, I'm

139
00:08:57.039 --> 00:09:00.840
looking all over and we're I'm leaving tracks from my boots.

140
00:09:01.080 --> 00:09:04.799
There were no tracks. I mean, I'm looking, I'm looking.

141
00:09:04.879 --> 00:09:07.879
I walk up the hill where I seen it on

142
00:09:07.960 --> 00:09:11.039
the road coming down the hill, and it's partially gravel,

143
00:09:11.080 --> 00:09:16.799
partially dirt. I walk down. I followed the path exactly

144
00:09:16.919 --> 00:09:23.480
where you know, I seeing this thing walking and then

145
00:09:23.559 --> 00:09:27.759
you know, it turns into more mud and dirt alongside,

146
00:09:28.039 --> 00:09:30.320
you know, where the ditch was there off the road.

147
00:09:30.440 --> 00:09:33.639
And I'm looking and looking and looking, and I'm not

148
00:09:33.639 --> 00:09:36.480
seeing any tracks. And I'm just not sure what's going

149
00:09:36.519 --> 00:09:38.519
on here. It's like, why am I not seeing tracks?

150
00:09:38.519 --> 00:09:41.440
Because I'm looking for tracks, I'm leaving tracks myself, but

151
00:09:41.519 --> 00:09:45.519
I'm not seeing tracks. So at this point, you know,

152
00:09:45.559 --> 00:09:52.000
I've been looking for five minutes. And at this point

153
00:09:52.080 --> 00:09:54.200
I realized and I and I even feel bad for

154
00:09:54.240 --> 00:09:57.039
saying this now looking back on it. My son was

155
00:09:57.039 --> 00:10:03.919
not with me. My son had stopped and walked basically

156
00:10:03.960 --> 00:10:07.279
in between where we where we were standing initially and

157
00:10:07.360 --> 00:10:11.440
saw it and where it had walked off the road

158
00:10:11.519 --> 00:10:14.679
in front of us. He was about halfway in between

159
00:10:14.799 --> 00:10:18.279
and had walked up on the on the bank and

160
00:10:18.440 --> 00:10:22.639
was looking around this big maple tree. And I was

161
00:10:22.679 --> 00:10:27.120
standing there watching him just I wasn't sure what was

162
00:10:27.159 --> 00:10:30.519
going on. You know, this, It was pretty pretty crazy

163
00:10:30.559 --> 00:10:34.240
thing that just took place. You know, I've been out

164
00:10:34.279 --> 00:10:36.000
in the woods. I'm fifty three years old and I've

165
00:10:36.039 --> 00:10:38.000
been out in the woods my whole life. My dad,

166
00:10:38.200 --> 00:10:41.159
you know, hunted and fished. You know, I've been going

167
00:10:41.200 --> 00:10:44.240
hard out in the woods for a long time and

168
00:10:44.360 --> 00:10:49.360
never encountered anything like this. And so when I see

169
00:10:49.399 --> 00:10:52.679
my son looking around this tree, I just was like, Okay,

170
00:10:52.679 --> 00:10:58.759
what's going on? So I walked back down the road basically,

171
00:11:00.960 --> 00:11:02.960
you know, right across from where he was up on

172
00:11:03.000 --> 00:11:06.080
the bank around this tree, and I'm like, what are

173
00:11:06.120 --> 00:11:09.759
you doing, you know, and he looked at me. He's like,

174
00:11:09.759 --> 00:11:15.480
I'm looking for tracks, and I'm like, okay, wait a minute,

175
00:11:15.559 --> 00:11:17.679
come down here on the road. You know, let's let's

176
00:11:18.120 --> 00:11:20.320
figure this out. What's you know, what's going on here?

177
00:11:21.440 --> 00:11:26.399
And so he comes down on the road and I

178
00:11:26.440 --> 00:11:28.840
look at him and I'm like, what did you see?

179
00:11:30.440 --> 00:11:33.279
And he's like, what did you see? And he's like,

180
00:11:33.320 --> 00:11:36.240
why are you down there looking down there? And I said,

181
00:11:36.600 --> 00:11:40.000
when we were standing there talking, I seen one come

182
00:11:40.080 --> 00:11:44.159
down the hill and cross right off the road and

183
00:11:44.200 --> 00:11:46.559
walk right out into the trees. I'm like, what did

184
00:11:46.600 --> 00:11:50.720
you see? He said, as you were standing there talking

185
00:11:50.759 --> 00:11:56.879
to me, I seen one walk back behind that this

186
00:11:57.039 --> 00:11:59.120
you know, this maple tree right here, and this maple

187
00:11:59.120 --> 00:12:03.799
tree is probably anywhere from you know, twenty to thirty

188
00:12:03.840 --> 00:12:07.000
inches around. And he said that he's seen it walk

189
00:12:07.080 --> 00:12:11.039
back behind this tree and just kind of look, just

190
00:12:11.159 --> 00:12:14.200
kind of turn and look back at us and Vanish

191
00:12:15.679 --> 00:12:18.320
and I said, well, you know, what color was it?

192
00:12:18.440 --> 00:12:20.519
You know, we had this conversation of you know, what

193
00:12:20.559 --> 00:12:23.919
did it looked like? And you know, same thing seven

194
00:12:23.960 --> 00:12:26.759
to eight feet tall, but this one, he said that

195
00:12:26.840 --> 00:12:30.120
the one that he seen had basically a mixture of

196
00:12:30.600 --> 00:12:38.720
dark brown and gray hair. And so, you know, I

197
00:12:38.879 --> 00:12:42.320
with him, I looked around, you know, this tree, we

198
00:12:42.399 --> 00:12:45.679
looked all around. We kind of did like a circle

199
00:12:45.759 --> 00:12:47.600
like you would if you had killed an animal, and

200
00:12:47.639 --> 00:12:49.759
just kind of walked around in a circle looking for

201
00:12:49.919 --> 00:12:53.799
tracks in the area where he's seen the one that

202
00:12:53.840 --> 00:12:59.120
he saw. And then after that, you know, we found

203
00:12:59.120 --> 00:13:02.360
no tracks. I just I can't explain that, you know.

204
00:13:04.799 --> 00:13:06.720
And I was actually going to ask you a question

205
00:13:06.799 --> 00:13:09.279
about that. If you talk to people that run into

206
00:13:09.279 --> 00:13:13.080
this situation where they see this, they see bakefoot and

207
00:13:13.120 --> 00:13:15.080
then they see no tracks.

208
00:13:15.759 --> 00:13:19.279
Yeah, absolutely, And there's it's a really good question. And

209
00:13:19.440 --> 00:13:25.879
there's a few different reasons. There's everything from the type

210
00:13:25.919 --> 00:13:29.399
of ground that was there isn't good for keeping a

211
00:13:29.480 --> 00:13:34.360
track in print, or there's the other there's other way

212
00:13:34.360 --> 00:13:37.200
of looking at it where an individividual finds tracks. But

213
00:13:37.320 --> 00:13:42.360
then they just they just stop like it's disappeared. Now,

214
00:13:42.879 --> 00:13:45.360
when I went out to Oregon up in the Willamette

215
00:13:45.399 --> 00:13:48.759
National Forest, the locals out there, they would be like,

216
00:13:48.960 --> 00:13:51.559
what people don't do is they don't spend enough time

217
00:13:51.600 --> 00:13:54.200
looking up in the trees. And what we think is

218
00:13:54.240 --> 00:13:57.759
going on is when people can't find tracks, it's because

219
00:13:59.200 --> 00:14:01.600
it's jumped up in the trees. But the thing is

220
00:14:01.600 --> 00:14:04.320
is that you have visual on this thing, and you

221
00:14:04.360 --> 00:14:07.639
didn't see it jump up into a tree, correct.

222
00:14:07.559 --> 00:14:10.080
No, I you know, like I said, all I saw

223
00:14:10.320 --> 00:14:13.799
was was it coming down the hill and then and

224
00:14:13.919 --> 00:14:16.720
basically came down off the hill and then right straight

225
00:14:16.759 --> 00:14:19.360
off the road the edge of the road back into

226
00:14:20.840 --> 00:14:24.679
you know, the fur and the ferns. And I think,

227
00:14:24.879 --> 00:14:27.519
you know, I've shared this story with a few people,

228
00:14:28.519 --> 00:14:30.960
and the reason, I guess probably the reason I don't,

229
00:14:31.120 --> 00:14:33.840
I never really shared this story with more people is

230
00:14:33.879 --> 00:14:40.799
because it's like, I know what I saw, and I'm

231
00:14:40.799 --> 00:14:44.159
good with that. The problem I have is is like

232
00:14:44.240 --> 00:14:46.840
why why why did we not see tracks? I mean,

233
00:14:46.879 --> 00:14:51.000
you know, I'm I'm. We spent we literally probably spent

234
00:14:51.159 --> 00:14:54.720
an hour right there between the two different areas where

235
00:14:54.759 --> 00:14:58.879
we've seen these right there close together. We spent you know,

236
00:14:59.000 --> 00:15:01.080
like I say, about an hour in there, and then

237
00:15:01.799 --> 00:15:04.960
we actually finished the hunt. We've walked back in there.

238
00:15:05.039 --> 00:15:09.000
Of course, you know, my kid was hysterical, but we

239
00:15:09.039 --> 00:15:11.200
were you know, we're two two and a half miles

240
00:15:11.240 --> 00:15:13.600
already in this and so we walked back into this

241
00:15:13.679 --> 00:15:15.960
clear cut that we had initially started back in to

242
00:15:16.039 --> 00:15:20.960
go look at, and you know, we went in there

243
00:15:21.000 --> 00:15:25.559
and hunted for you know, two three four hours glass

244
00:15:25.600 --> 00:15:27.559
in this big cut and then you know, we didn't

245
00:15:27.639 --> 00:15:30.159
end up seeing any animals that day, and then walked

246
00:15:30.200 --> 00:15:33.639
back out, and as we were walking out, we stopped

247
00:15:33.679 --> 00:15:35.440
and looked again for tracks.

248
00:15:36.039 --> 00:15:39.960
Are you comfortable providing the approximate age of your son?

249
00:15:41.159 --> 00:15:44.559
So at the time, my son was fifteen fifteen?

250
00:15:44.639 --> 00:15:48.240
Okay, yeah, all right, and yes, what was the year

251
00:15:48.320 --> 00:15:48.879
on this again?

252
00:15:49.600 --> 00:15:54.559
So when I initially when I commented on what I

253
00:15:54.639 --> 00:15:58.080
seen on YouTube and you you contacted me, I was

254
00:15:58.120 --> 00:16:00.679
just throwing it out there, I think I said years ago.

255
00:16:01.159 --> 00:16:05.039
So I actually after this happened, I didn't track on

256
00:16:05.039 --> 00:16:08.559
ONYX that day, just because I knew we're you know,

257
00:16:08.600 --> 00:16:11.399
we were going in and coming out the same road.

258
00:16:11.440 --> 00:16:13.879
I wasn't going to like go off the road anywhere.

259
00:16:15.320 --> 00:16:18.759
But I did come back and I did put a

260
00:16:18.799 --> 00:16:24.679
waypoint and it was twenty twenty, So this was twenty

261
00:16:24.759 --> 00:16:25.879
twenty when this happened.

262
00:16:27.360 --> 00:16:33.000
Okay, twenty twenty, so yeah, definitely, yeah, a little yeah,

263
00:16:33.039 --> 00:16:37.039
that's that's good. Six years ago. So I wanted to

264
00:16:37.080 --> 00:16:42.279
ask for you specifically, so your son did he see

265
00:16:42.279 --> 00:16:45.559
it actually disappear or did it like go around something

266
00:16:45.919 --> 00:16:50.159
or I think he said, did you actually see it

267
00:16:50.240 --> 00:16:52.559
vanish or well, it's.

268
00:16:52.320 --> 00:16:57.000
Not that it vanished. It basically just you know right

269
00:16:57.039 --> 00:17:01.559
there where that tree was, you know it did. There

270
00:17:01.639 --> 00:17:03.279
was a little bit of brush and stuff there and

271
00:17:03.320 --> 00:17:07.079
basically when he freaked. You know, we had this conversation about,

272
00:17:07.119 --> 00:17:09.720
you know, on the way home from there too, about

273
00:17:09.720 --> 00:17:12.720
what we saw, and you know, basically he just seen

274
00:17:13.799 --> 00:17:19.279
you know, this figure walk in behind this tree and

275
00:17:19.319 --> 00:17:22.680
then you know he didn't see anymore. You know, I

276
00:17:22.680 --> 00:17:24.240
don't know, I wouldn't. I don't know if i'd say

277
00:17:24.279 --> 00:17:26.480
that it just vanished. I mean, it just it just

278
00:17:26.680 --> 00:17:32.119
basically walked behind this tree and was gone. You know,

279
00:17:33.440 --> 00:17:35.839
I would say, like the time that I picked up

280
00:17:35.839 --> 00:17:38.119
on this thing coming down the hill and you know,

281
00:17:38.200 --> 00:17:41.680
watched it, it was a good probably fifteen or twenty seconds,

282
00:17:41.720 --> 00:17:47.640
I mean, you know, and yeah, it was just it

283
00:17:47.680 --> 00:17:52.319
was just a weird experience because you know, I'm sitting

284
00:17:52.359 --> 00:17:55.039
there watching this thing and his reaction. I'm thinking that

285
00:17:55.079 --> 00:17:59.480
he's reacting to what I'm seeing, you know, and I'm

286
00:17:59.480 --> 00:18:01.240
trying to, like said, I'm trying to look at this

287
00:18:01.279 --> 00:18:04.160
thing and you know, and I'm looking at its hands,

288
00:18:04.200 --> 00:18:08.440
I'm looking I'm looking at anything that would because basically

289
00:18:08.480 --> 00:18:10.200
what it looked like to me, I think, you know

290
00:18:10.240 --> 00:18:13.119
a few times I've talked about this, when I've described it,

291
00:18:13.119 --> 00:18:19.000
it looked like a person in a like a black

292
00:18:19.559 --> 00:18:23.200
slicker with the old style like rain hat, that cone

293
00:18:23.319 --> 00:18:27.119
style rain hat, if that makes any sense. And so

294
00:18:27.359 --> 00:18:29.759
I guess when I first saw it, I was, I

295
00:18:29.799 --> 00:18:31.400
was That's what I was trying to figure out here,

296
00:18:31.440 --> 00:18:33.200
Like what am I looking at? And I was looking

297
00:18:33.200 --> 00:18:34.640
at its hand, you know, trying to figure out was

298
00:18:34.759 --> 00:18:36.640
it was it carrying a gun, you know, And then

299
00:18:36.680 --> 00:18:38.640
I start I was looking at its feet, you know,

300
00:18:38.720 --> 00:18:42.279
is it wearing boots? I was looking for any anything

301
00:18:42.559 --> 00:18:46.279
to tell me that it was a person, you know

302
00:18:46.319 --> 00:18:55.680
what I mean. And so I actually talked to the

303
00:18:55.759 --> 00:18:59.160
guy that initially brought me in there and showed me

304
00:18:59.200 --> 00:19:04.400
this area. I go to church with him, and he

305
00:19:04.519 --> 00:19:06.759
at that and that time, at that time, he was

306
00:19:06.799 --> 00:19:10.680
my Sunday school teacher. And this happened on a Saturday

307
00:19:10.680 --> 00:19:14.640
morning when I went in to his class Sunday school class.

308
00:19:15.000 --> 00:19:17.319
The next morning, when I come walking in, I kind

309
00:19:17.319 --> 00:19:19.240
of we kind of locked eyes, and he looked at

310
00:19:19.240 --> 00:19:21.799
me and he's like, oh, boy, you got a story,

311
00:19:21.880 --> 00:19:23.640
you know, And I'm like, yeah, you know, I walked

312
00:19:23.680 --> 00:19:27.559
into that spot that you had showed me, and uh,

313
00:19:27.720 --> 00:19:29.480
you know, I kind of explained to him a little

314
00:19:29.519 --> 00:19:34.079
bit what I saw. And his initial comment to me

315
00:19:34.319 --> 00:19:38.160
was is that someone, someone would have to be walking

316
00:19:38.200 --> 00:19:41.319
for two and a half hours straight in the dark

317
00:19:41.960 --> 00:19:46.240
to be in that area where we were, and so

318
00:19:46.400 --> 00:19:49.240
he was just, you know, he just was dumbfounded by

319
00:19:49.440 --> 00:19:55.079
you know, this, this this whole situation. And then he

320
00:19:55.160 --> 00:19:58.000
kind of added to it. He at the time when

321
00:19:58.000 --> 00:20:01.400
I explained the story to him, you know, we actually talked,

322
00:20:01.480 --> 00:20:05.960
went went and talked after church that afternoon, and you know,

323
00:20:06.000 --> 00:20:09.440
we just sat down and talked about what happened, and

324
00:20:09.519 --> 00:20:11.400
he told me that he was going to talk to

325
00:20:12.160 --> 00:20:13.960
This kind of adds a little bit to the story.

326
00:20:14.920 --> 00:20:16.640
I don't know what to make of it. I think

327
00:20:16.640 --> 00:20:20.440
it's kind of interesting. But he told me that he

328
00:20:20.519 --> 00:20:22.920
was going to contact the person that originally because he

329
00:20:22.960 --> 00:20:26.039
had never seen anything in in this this area, on

330
00:20:26.079 --> 00:20:30.160
this road out of the ordinary. He told me that

331
00:20:30.240 --> 00:20:33.640
he was going to contact the guy that originally showed

332
00:20:33.720 --> 00:20:38.240
him this road and took him in there originally. And

333
00:20:38.400 --> 00:20:43.079
so then a short time later, you know, uh, he

334
00:20:43.119 --> 00:20:45.720
told me that he had talked to that individual and

335
00:20:45.759 --> 00:20:49.000
he had never seen anything like what I described, but

336
00:20:49.119 --> 00:20:52.680
he said that he did have a strange encounter in there,

337
00:20:53.640 --> 00:20:55.880
and we talked about it, and I said, you know what,

338
00:20:55.880 --> 00:20:59.279
what did he see? And he said that, you know,

339
00:20:59.359 --> 00:21:03.680
this gentleman was in there by himself, and there's an

340
00:21:03.799 --> 00:21:08.200
area in there that where you're the road that you're

341
00:21:08.240 --> 00:21:13.880
walking down, it has probably ten to twelve year old

342
00:21:14.119 --> 00:21:17.359
reprod on the downhill side, and then on the uphill side,

343
00:21:17.720 --> 00:21:22.160
it's probably anywhere from fifteen to twenty inch second growth

344
00:21:22.200 --> 00:21:27.240
fir and as you come out to this big clearcut,

345
00:21:27.400 --> 00:21:29.960
it just kind of opens up. Well, the gentleman that

346
00:21:30.079 --> 00:21:33.240
originally took my friend in there, that showed me this area,

347
00:21:33.839 --> 00:21:36.319
said that when he walked in, just as he came

348
00:21:36.359 --> 00:21:40.319
off the road into the clearcut, that he was in

349
00:21:40.359 --> 00:21:44.400
there in an evening and an a white orb came

350
00:21:44.640 --> 00:21:51.119
in from behind him and just completely lit up. It

351
00:21:51.160 --> 00:21:53.640
came in and went ahead of him and just lit

352
00:21:53.720 --> 00:21:56.119
up this thing like the sun had came out, like

353
00:21:56.759 --> 00:22:01.039
just completely lit up this whole area. And I thought

354
00:22:01.039 --> 00:22:04.279
that was I thought that was interesting. You know. I mean,

355
00:22:04.480 --> 00:22:07.559
you know, I didn't. You know, it's not like I

356
00:22:08.000 --> 00:22:12.039
study this stuff. But I have watched since then. I've

357
00:22:12.039 --> 00:22:16.240
seen a few documentaries and shows. I'm thinking of one

358
00:22:16.240 --> 00:22:21.079
in particular, the four to one one. Oh yeah, the

359
00:22:21.119 --> 00:22:24.880
four one one episode where these guys are going in

360
00:22:25.000 --> 00:22:29.759
horseback and they're hunting in there, and you know, these

361
00:22:29.759 --> 00:22:34.640
things were basically harassing these people in their hunting and

362
00:22:34.799 --> 00:22:37.759
they talked about They're all sitting around the fire and

363
00:22:37.920 --> 00:22:40.920
these orbs came into camp and were kind of drifting

364
00:22:41.000 --> 00:22:44.680
around the campsite. And when I seen when I was

365
00:22:44.720 --> 00:22:47.279
watching that episode and I seen that, I just that

366
00:22:47.400 --> 00:22:49.759
just blew my mind. It's like, how is this connected?

367
00:22:50.559 --> 00:22:54.680
You know? What does that mean? Well, yeah, it would

368
00:22:54.720 --> 00:22:55.839
be interesting.

369
00:22:56.039 --> 00:22:58.599
For if listeners rock. That sounds really cool. I want

370
00:22:58.599 --> 00:23:01.039
I checked that out. What Trav is talking about is

371
00:23:01.119 --> 00:23:06.319
referring to the Ron moorehead SIRA Sounds experience in California,

372
00:23:06.359 --> 00:23:10.960
which is also really well done and documented in David

373
00:23:11.000 --> 00:23:14.720
Polidi's Missing four one one, one of those documentaries. Have

374
00:23:14.839 --> 00:23:16.880
you watched American Sasquatch by him yet?

375
00:23:18.279 --> 00:23:22.480
You know, I may have. And the interesting thing is

376
00:23:22.480 --> 00:23:27.119
is like before this, before this happened. I really didn't.

377
00:23:27.319 --> 00:23:29.519
I didn't follow any of this. I mean I I'd

378
00:23:29.559 --> 00:23:34.480
never seen anything, and so I really didn't. I didn't

379
00:23:34.599 --> 00:23:39.599
look at any of this, uh you know, the documentaries

380
00:23:39.599 --> 00:23:42.400
and the different things. But since this has happened, I

381
00:23:42.519 --> 00:23:46.279
just I find it really interesting and and so yeah,

382
00:23:46.359 --> 00:23:49.640
I I I do. I can't say that I have

383
00:23:49.799 --> 00:23:52.079
seen that show where I haven't seen that show, but

384
00:23:52.200 --> 00:23:55.480
I do. I do kind of follow this stuff more.

385
00:23:56.839 --> 00:23:59.160
It's kind of freaky. I think. It's like, you know,

386
00:23:59.279 --> 00:24:01.720
especially when you see some of these videos and that

387
00:24:01.920 --> 00:24:05.960
depict how they walk, you know, their their arms and

388
00:24:05.960 --> 00:24:12.039
and just once you see that, it's yeah, it's uh,

389
00:24:12.200 --> 00:24:13.640
it's it's crazy. You know.

390
00:24:13.759 --> 00:24:15.519
I'd recommend you check it out. It came out in

391
00:24:15.519 --> 00:24:20.279
the last few months. But so after you have this experience,

392
00:24:20.440 --> 00:24:26.000
how did it affects you both with your hunting. Sometimes

393
00:24:26.119 --> 00:24:29.000
it can affect people pretty intensely.

394
00:24:29.319 --> 00:24:32.759
You know. So I can say this, So as far

395
00:24:32.839 --> 00:24:36.480
as this particular area goes, I have not been back

396
00:24:36.519 --> 00:24:40.839
in there. So the person that originally showed me this

397
00:24:40.960 --> 00:24:45.240
area this last hunting season, on the last day of

398
00:24:45.319 --> 00:24:49.319
hunting season, him and I had planned on going in there,

399
00:24:50.240 --> 00:24:55.200
so we're driving around in that general area, and just

400
00:24:55.319 --> 00:24:57.720
kind of the plan was is that we were going

401
00:24:57.799 --> 00:25:00.799
to go in there around one o'clock and just walk

402
00:25:00.880 --> 00:25:02.680
in and spend the rest of the day in there

403
00:25:02.720 --> 00:25:06.880
and come out at dark. And there's a there's another

404
00:25:07.000 --> 00:25:08.799
road that you can kind of come around and you

405
00:25:08.839 --> 00:25:13.200
can overlook this particular area where this happened. And so

406
00:25:13.559 --> 00:25:16.799
this last year they had logged right next to it,

407
00:25:17.599 --> 00:25:20.359
and so when we seen that they were actively logging

408
00:25:20.400 --> 00:25:24.279
in there, we made the decision not to go not

409
00:25:24.400 --> 00:25:28.599
to go back in there last year. But as far

410
00:25:28.720 --> 00:25:34.559
as how this has affected me and hunting, you know,

411
00:25:34.640 --> 00:25:40.640
I'm still hunting. I all hunt, you know, in eastern Oregon,

412
00:25:40.960 --> 00:25:44.680
and but I'm I'm I'm saving my points. So I

413
00:25:44.680 --> 00:25:47.200
guess part of the issue is, and I was thinking

414
00:25:47.200 --> 00:25:48.839
about this because I knew you were gonna ask me

415
00:25:48.920 --> 00:25:51.519
this question. So I have a twelve year old daughter,

416
00:25:52.599 --> 00:25:56.799
and so I guess this has probably affected me more

417
00:25:58.559 --> 00:26:03.160
in that situation as far as taking her in the woods,

418
00:26:03.200 --> 00:26:08.480
and you know what I mean, Sure, you know, I

419
00:26:08.480 --> 00:26:11.519
don't know that might sound strange, but you know, as

420
00:26:11.519 --> 00:26:13.720
far as it affecting me, it's like that day that

421
00:26:13.880 --> 00:26:16.920
this happened. I was you know, I don't know why

422
00:26:17.000 --> 00:26:19.799
I wasn't scared. I mean, I I knew what I

423
00:26:19.880 --> 00:26:25.440
was looking at, and I wasn't scared. You know, I'm

424
00:26:25.519 --> 00:26:30.359
packing my rifle. My son had his rifle, and you know,

425
00:26:30.400 --> 00:26:36.359
I've ran across cougars, I've ran across wolves, you know,

426
00:26:37.200 --> 00:26:41.799
and uh, yeah, I mean but as far as my son,

427
00:26:41.880 --> 00:26:46.000
I mean, we've he's kind of moved into other hobbies

428
00:26:46.000 --> 00:26:49.960
and different things. He doesn't hunt as much now. You know,

429
00:26:50.000 --> 00:26:51.920
we were hunting hard there for the first you know,

430
00:26:51.960 --> 00:26:54.640
he started hunting when he was twelve. You know, he

431
00:26:54.720 --> 00:26:58.799
started playing guitar and stuff, and so he's more interested in,

432
00:26:59.000 --> 00:27:06.160
you know, those kinds of thing things. But yeah, so

433
00:27:06.240 --> 00:27:09.240
I don't really know, never really asked him that question

434
00:27:09.279 --> 00:27:11.440
how it's affected him. I know that he still goes

435
00:27:11.480 --> 00:27:14.759
out and he goes shooting, he hunts with his friends.

436
00:27:17.279 --> 00:27:19.640
But yeah, I mean, I'm still I'm still going out

437
00:27:19.720 --> 00:27:23.759
hunting all the time, out in the woods all the time.

438
00:27:23.920 --> 00:27:26.640
At any point, did either of you get a really

439
00:27:26.640 --> 00:27:29.920
good look at the face of either of the.

440
00:27:29.880 --> 00:27:33.759
Two so, and that's just so, that was a question

441
00:27:33.880 --> 00:27:36.079
I asked him, and he told me no, that he

442
00:27:36.119 --> 00:27:42.240
didn't he didn't see its face and this, you know,

443
00:27:42.400 --> 00:27:44.599
and I'm I'm just playing this over in my mind

444
00:27:44.680 --> 00:27:47.680
right now. And that's the thing is is I didn't.

445
00:27:48.359 --> 00:27:55.000
It was it was basically coming. It was coming at us,

446
00:27:55.039 --> 00:27:58.880
but very slightly, and I didn't. I mean all I

447
00:27:58.960 --> 00:28:03.000
all I saw was just like just jet black, jet

448
00:28:03.000 --> 00:28:09.240
black hair, and I didn't really. You know, I've seen

449
00:28:09.279 --> 00:28:12.039
a few depictions where they have like kind of like

450
00:28:12.079 --> 00:28:16.880
an ape like face, like protruding, and I can say

451
00:28:16.920 --> 00:28:21.119
that I definitely did not see that. I mean, its

452
00:28:21.119 --> 00:28:26.440
face was more definitely had to be more flat, because

453
00:28:26.480 --> 00:28:28.400
I would have noticed that. I mean, we were that close,

454
00:28:28.400 --> 00:28:33.240
we were within you know, eighty two hundred yards, and

455
00:28:33.319 --> 00:28:36.319
so no, I didn't. I didn't necessarily And that that's

456
00:28:36.400 --> 00:28:37.839
like I say, that was kind of one of the

457
00:28:37.880 --> 00:28:42.599
strangest things too, about this whole situation is when my

458
00:28:42.680 --> 00:28:45.680
son started yelling at the top of his lungs, what's

459
00:28:45.759 --> 00:28:48.319
going on, Get me the f out of here, right,

460
00:28:49.119 --> 00:28:51.720
it did not turn and look at us. It literally

461
00:28:51.799 --> 00:28:55.400
just kept right on track, didn't didn't skip a beat,

462
00:28:55.480 --> 00:28:59.519
didn't didn't even react one one bit to that yelling

463
00:28:59.599 --> 00:28:59.960
that that.

464
00:29:00.279 --> 00:29:06.200
Started, which really lines up with so many different reports

465
00:29:06.200 --> 00:29:09.119
I've heard where it's just they are not bothered. You know,

466
00:29:09.240 --> 00:29:11.400
if they've got somewhere to go, they're going to keep going.

467
00:29:12.559 --> 00:29:13.720
This wild stuff.

468
00:29:13.799 --> 00:29:18.920
Man. Yeah, I know you didn't.

469
00:29:18.759 --> 00:29:23.400
Get a look at the face. But have you tried

470
00:29:23.440 --> 00:29:26.880
to categorize what you experienced that day in your mind?

471
00:29:26.920 --> 00:29:29.880
I know some people categorize it more as like some

472
00:29:30.000 --> 00:29:34.240
kind of primate or some kind of you know, ancestor

473
00:29:35.039 --> 00:29:40.680
to us. Do you have any thoughts about that? You know?

474
00:29:41.039 --> 00:29:45.680
I mean, and I guess fact is yesterday, you know,

475
00:29:45.799 --> 00:29:47.759
I don't I don't have social media and I but

476
00:29:47.839 --> 00:29:50.359
I do kind of look on YouTube here and there,

477
00:29:51.160 --> 00:29:56.079
and I seen a little blip yesterday of this bigfoot

478
00:29:57.400 --> 00:29:59.799
kind of an animation or what however you want to

479
00:29:59.799 --> 00:30:03.559
call it, and it had more of that primate looking

480
00:30:03.640 --> 00:30:08.480
face to it. I don't know, I don't, Uh this

481
00:30:08.640 --> 00:30:14.960
thing was the way this thing was walking, Yeah, I don't.

482
00:30:15.079 --> 00:30:19.759
I don't get the you know, the primate movement. I don't.

483
00:30:19.799 --> 00:30:22.920
I don't see that. I mean, this thing was, this

484
00:30:22.960 --> 00:30:30.640
thing was walking with purpose, you know, And I just yeah,

485
00:30:31.480 --> 00:30:34.519
you know, I just don't. Yeah, I don't. I don't

486
00:30:34.559 --> 00:30:40.039
see that. I don't. I don't know how to describe

487
00:30:40.079 --> 00:30:42.039
it other than you know, as far as like the

488
00:30:42.680 --> 00:30:45.400
when you see a primate move and stuff they're hunched over,

489
00:30:45.799 --> 00:30:48.319
or all these different things. I mean, this thing was

490
00:30:48.440 --> 00:30:53.440
walking just like you and I would be walking down

491
00:30:53.480 --> 00:30:56.960
a hill and then out into you know, the trees

492
00:30:57.000 --> 00:31:01.079
and the and the ferns, and it didn't, you know,

493
00:31:01.160 --> 00:31:03.720
as far as other than it was big and covered

494
00:31:03.759 --> 00:31:06.720
in hair, it didn't. It didn't act or walk any

495
00:31:06.759 --> 00:31:09.799
different than a person. I mean, that's about the best

496
00:31:09.799 --> 00:31:11.440
way way I can describe it for you.

497
00:31:12.960 --> 00:31:16.720
It is really a fascinating account, and it's it's an

498
00:31:16.799 --> 00:31:19.960
area of Oregon I haven't heard a lot from, so

499
00:31:20.319 --> 00:31:22.920
it'll be interesting to see if.

500
00:31:24.279 --> 00:31:25.039
You know, other.

501
00:31:26.400 --> 00:31:29.680
Other listeners from out there have had things happen in

502
00:31:29.759 --> 00:31:32.200
the same area. But you know, Travis, I want to

503
00:31:32.200 --> 00:31:35.559
make sure that you were able to share everything that

504
00:31:35.640 --> 00:31:38.039
you were wanting to share on the show today about

505
00:31:38.039 --> 00:31:38.640
your encounter.

506
00:31:40.720 --> 00:31:46.400
Yeah, I mean, that's that's basically what happened, you know,

507
00:31:46.559 --> 00:31:50.240
And like I was, you know, I guess when you

508
00:31:50.319 --> 00:31:52.480
asked me to come on, I guess the biggest question

509
00:31:52.599 --> 00:31:56.400
that I had for you was, you know, is are

510
00:31:56.440 --> 00:31:59.880
you hearing about encounters when where people uh, you know,

511
00:32:00.079 --> 00:32:03.400
don't end up seeing tracks footprints, because I just thought

512
00:32:03.440 --> 00:32:05.519
that was the strangest thing. But I think he answered

513
00:32:05.559 --> 00:32:06.240
that pretty good.

514
00:32:07.519 --> 00:32:09.960
So I would say if you were wanting to read

515
00:32:10.000 --> 00:32:13.119
a book where it's a collection of really interesting things

516
00:32:13.160 --> 00:32:16.319
like that, there's a two part series called Where the

517
00:32:16.359 --> 00:32:22.079
Footprints End by Joshua mccutcheen, and I really recommend that

518
00:32:22.079 --> 00:32:25.319
that includes a lot of kind of the weirder side

519
00:32:25.319 --> 00:32:28.839
of Bigfoot, and it's a great documentation about like, Okay,

520
00:32:30.319 --> 00:32:34.160
what are some incidents where you know, the hunters have

521
00:32:34.240 --> 00:32:37.400
looked for tracks and there's nothing or they just disappear.

522
00:32:37.480 --> 00:32:40.640
So I would really recommend if you're wanting to read

523
00:32:40.640 --> 00:32:41.720
a little bit more into it.

524
00:32:41.720 --> 00:32:45.799
Check that out too. Okay, thank you, awesome.

525
00:32:45.960 --> 00:32:49.640
Well, Travis, thank you so much for coming on. Definitely,

526
00:32:50.000 --> 00:32:52.920
you know, keep us in the loop if you do

527
00:32:53.200 --> 00:32:57.799
ever experience anything else out there, and feel free to

528
00:32:57.839 --> 00:33:01.440
pass on my email. It's Bigfoot Society at gmail dot

529
00:33:01.440 --> 00:33:05.480
com if you run into anyone that would like to

530
00:33:05.559 --> 00:33:10.000
share their experience with bigfoot out in the Pacific Northwest.

531
00:33:10.480 --> 00:33:13.160
Yeah, definitely, thank you, but.

532
00:33:13.160 --> 00:33:16.440
Thank you for coming on, Sir all right, have a

533
00:33:16.480 --> 00:33:18.799
good day. Have you ever heard all the accounts of

534
00:33:18.920 --> 00:33:23.079
bigfoot activity around Oakridge, Oregon? And you think to yourself, Man,

535
00:33:23.160 --> 00:33:25.599
I would love to get out in those woods and

536
00:33:25.640 --> 00:33:30.680
experience it for myself. Well, guess what this year you can.

537
00:33:31.359 --> 00:33:34.319
If this is interesting to you, stay tuned because it's

538
00:33:34.319 --> 00:33:39.279
pretty cool. Sasquatch Summer Fest is coming up July tenth

539
00:33:39.359 --> 00:33:42.960
through the eleventh, twenty twenty six. It's going to be

540
00:33:43.039 --> 00:33:47.119
even better than the previous year's. Reason number one, I'll

541
00:33:47.160 --> 00:33:49.839
be one of the speakers. It's gonna be wild. I'll

542
00:33:49.880 --> 00:33:55.359
probably I'll say this. There may be stuff you haven't

543
00:33:55.400 --> 00:34:01.599
heard anywhere else, because let's just say sometimes it's uh, well,

544
00:34:01.759 --> 00:34:03.720
you just got to be there. We'll leave at that.

545
00:34:03.880 --> 00:34:06.559
More about looking for Bigfoot in the Oakridge Woods. Now

546
00:34:06.640 --> 00:34:11.760
check this out. You may know Jason Kenzie from his

547
00:34:11.880 --> 00:34:16.760
documentary series Searching for Sasquatch. Well, this year you can

548
00:34:16.760 --> 00:34:19.920
not only go to the festival, but you can also

549
00:34:20.760 --> 00:34:27.519
sign up for a track deep in the wild forest

550
00:34:27.599 --> 00:34:32.280
outside of Oakridge with Jason Kenzie to the Bigfoot spots

551
00:34:32.639 --> 00:34:36.239
to look for Bigfoot. There's only eight spots to sign

552
00:34:36.320 --> 00:34:39.880
up for this, and yes, this will also be filmed

553
00:34:40.440 --> 00:34:43.159
for the next chapter in his documentary series, which is

554
00:34:43.320 --> 00:34:46.280
Searching for Sasquatch. This is a once in a lifetime deal.

555
00:34:46.480 --> 00:34:49.519
It's just it's going to be a wild, wild experience.

556
00:34:51.159 --> 00:34:54.599
To get a ticket, head on over to Sasquatch Summerfest

557
00:34:54.679 --> 00:34:59.239
dot com and listeners can use the code b SP

558
00:35:00.559 --> 00:35:04.039
like Bigfoot Society podcast in order to get a two

559
00:35:04.119 --> 00:35:06.920
day pass for the price of a one day pass.

560
00:35:07.519 --> 00:35:12.119
So thanks to Priscilla for giving me that code so

561
00:35:12.199 --> 00:35:18.639
that you guys can can get a little help with

562
00:35:18.679 --> 00:35:21.960
the cost there. Appreciate that, Priscilla. I hope to see

563
00:35:22.000 --> 00:35:26.239
you at the booth in Oakridge this year. We can

564
00:35:26.280 --> 00:35:28.559
talk about your encounter. Was able to talk to so

565
00:35:28.679 --> 00:35:32.239
many people last year and the year before. It is

566
00:35:32.320 --> 00:35:35.199
an incredible time. You're not going to want to miss it,

567
00:35:35.480 --> 00:35:39.960
and I'll see you there. Before we wrap this episode,

568
00:35:40.000 --> 00:35:42.599
I want to say something directly to a very specific

569
00:35:42.639 --> 00:35:46.119
group of listeners. If you're in the military, any branch

570
00:35:46.440 --> 00:35:49.119
or forces, and if you've seen something that no one

571
00:35:49.159 --> 00:35:52.360
can explain, or if you're a National Park ranger or

572
00:35:52.519 --> 00:35:56.039
forestreet worker who's been told to stay quiet, if you're

573
00:35:56.039 --> 00:35:59.480
a pilot who's seen something strange down on the ground,

574
00:35:59.800 --> 00:36:02.639
or if you're with the FBI a federal agency, or

575
00:36:02.679 --> 00:36:06.199
working intelligence and you stumbled upon something you're not allowed

576
00:36:06.239 --> 00:36:09.239
to talk about. And if you're a firefighter, paramedic, or

577
00:36:09.320 --> 00:36:12.920
search and rescue responder who's heard screams or found tracks

578
00:36:13.079 --> 00:36:16.079
that didn't make sense. If you're in the logging industry

579
00:36:17.039 --> 00:36:19.920
on a remote oil field, or a trucker with government

580
00:36:20.000 --> 00:36:23.639
contracts and you've had something happen that you've never told

581
00:36:23.639 --> 00:36:27.280
a soul. And if you're a biologist, a wildlife specialist,

582
00:36:27.480 --> 00:36:30.840
or a field researcher under contract who has found evidence

583
00:36:31.000 --> 00:36:32.400
you're not allowed to report.

584
00:36:32.960 --> 00:36:33.320
If you're a.

585
00:36:33.360 --> 00:36:37.039
Pastor, a missionary, or someone on a spiritual retreat and

586
00:36:37.119 --> 00:36:39.920
you saw something that shook your faith, or if you

587
00:36:40.000 --> 00:36:43.800
work in the shadows, CIA, NSA or anything with clearance

588
00:36:44.320 --> 00:36:48.079
and you've seen what the public hasn't, then I want

589
00:36:48.119 --> 00:36:53.000
to talk to you, even if it's anonymous. You can

590
00:36:53.039 --> 00:36:56.760
reach me at Bigfoot Society at gmail dot com. The

591
00:36:56.840 --> 00:36:59.920
world needs to hear what you've been forced to carry alone.

592
00:37:01.199 --> 00:37:05.880
And you're not alone. You've got the story, We've got

593
00:37:05.880 --> 00:37:09.960
the mic. See you in the woods. Thank you for listening.

594
00:37:09.960 --> 00:37:12.960
To this episode of The Bigfoot Society Podcast. Every encounter

595
00:37:13.039 --> 00:37:15.239
we share reminds us that the world is bigger and

596
00:37:15.320 --> 00:37:18.280
stranger than we think, and that the truth is often

597
00:37:18.360 --> 00:37:21.760
hiding just beyond the tree line. If you enjoyed this episode,
