A retired law enforcement officer shares a firsthand encounter from Southwest Washington that has stayed unchanged for over a decade.


On a clear July afternoon near Tower Road, outside Toutle and Silver Lake, Casey and his wife both saw a massive, jet-black figure standing just off the road. In the next instant, it crossed the highway with a speed neither of them can explain and disappeared into open terrain where nothing should have been able to hide.


This account is detailed, grounded, and witnessed by two people at the same moment. The size, the movement, and the complete lack of trace leave questions that still haven’t been answered.
