Filmmakers Recorded Strange Howls in Shawnee National Forest

Strange howls answered their calls in the Illinois woods. Moments later, they heard snapping—and a thunderous crash.

Documentary filmmaker Joe Tury and investigator Jason Dickerson join Jeremiah Byron to share what happened near an overgrown cemetery in the Garden of the Gods Wilderness, deep inside Shawnee National Forest. Their investigation brought repeated vocalizations, a possible trackway, and sounds they interpreted as trees falling in different directions.

Hear the howl recording for yourself as they walk through the encounter, their reactions, and the questions that keep bringing them back.

What answered them from the woods—and what happened after the howls?

00:00:10.140 --> 00:00:13.720
From backwoods trails and remote mountain haulers to quiet farms

5
00:00:13.839 --> 00:00:17.140
and crowded highways, the stories come from everywhere, and each

6
00:00:17.260 --> 00:00:21.089
one leaves us with more questions than answers. These are

7
00:00:21.140 --> 00:00:24.600
the voices of the people who've lived it. So settle

8
00:00:24.660 --> 00:00:27.960
in because today you'll hear another account that just might

9
00:00:28.019 --> 00:00:30.079
change the way you see the woods forever.

10
00:00:30.480 --> 00:00:31.129
So stay with us.

11
00:00:31.640 --> 00:00:34.270
Please keep Jeremiah in your prayers as he continues his

12
00:00:34.329 --> 00:00:38.609
fight against cancer. For more updates about his medical journey,

13
00:00:38.829 --> 00:00:42.229
please go to the CaringBridge link in the show notes.

14
00:00:42.549 --> 00:00:45.979
Thank you. All right, Bigfoot Society, welcome back to another show.

15
00:00:45.990 --> 00:00:48.759
We've got the privilege of talking to two gentlemen today.

16
00:00:48.820 --> 00:00:50.020
We've got Mr.

17
00:00:50.280 --> 00:00:55.000
Joseph Turi from Red Room Films, and Jason Dickerson, also

18
00:00:55.600 --> 00:00:57.240
from Red Room Films as well.

19
00:00:58.039 --> 00:00:59.920
Welcome to the show, guys. How are you doing?

20
00:01:01.270 --> 00:01:02.850
Awesome. Thank you so much for having us.

21
00:01:03.630 --> 00:01:04.530
Yeah, thanks.

22
00:01:05.689 --> 00:01:09.030
And you heard from, for the audio listeners, we've got,

23
00:01:09.909 --> 00:01:12.780
I'll be referring to Joseph as Joe, who you first

24
00:01:12.859 --> 00:01:16.700
heard there, and Jason is the second voice that you

25
00:01:16.739 --> 00:01:19.159
heard as well. But Joe, it's been a while since

26
00:01:19.200 --> 00:01:23.599
we talked. Let's do a little intro for people that

27
00:01:23.659 --> 00:01:27.319
are new. Do you mind spending a few minutes telling

28
00:01:27.400 --> 00:01:29.980
the listeners about what it is that you do with

29
00:01:30.049 --> 00:01:30.790
Red Room Films?

30
00:01:31.489 --> 00:01:37.530
Yeah, absolutely. So I consider myself an independent documentary filmmaker

31
00:01:37.609 --> 00:01:41.480
stationed out of central Illinois. I've been doing that since

32
00:01:41.579 --> 00:01:46.099
like 2019. So I've been into videography for probably a

33
00:01:46.200 --> 00:01:49.540
little bit over a decade or more. And then, so

34
00:01:49.560 --> 00:01:52.640
I had a, you know, I have this passion for

35
00:01:52.680 --> 00:01:55.719
videography and a passion for the world of the weird.

36
00:01:56.310 --> 00:01:59.409
And I kind of combined those, which is awesome. That's,

37
00:01:59.510 --> 00:02:01.849
it's not my main job. I have a real job.

38
00:02:01.909 --> 00:02:05.069
And then the film side of it is a passion.

39
00:02:05.230 --> 00:02:10.199
You know, I have, Several documentaries out there that you

40
00:02:10.240 --> 00:02:14.819
can find on Prime and such. Probably my most popular one,

41
00:02:14.900 --> 00:02:18.159
per se, is called Creature from Big Muddy, which is

42
00:02:18.280 --> 00:02:22.729
a Bigfoot story from Illinois that actually Lauren Coleman actually

43
00:02:23.569 --> 00:02:27.930
investigated back in the day, back in the 70s. So

44
00:02:27.949 --> 00:02:35.909
I like to document historical cases, mostly paranormal, UFO cases.

45
00:02:36.500 --> 00:02:41.620
But my favorite is like the Bigfoot subject. And my

46
00:02:41.680 --> 00:02:44.639
most recent one is not a historical case. It's called

47
00:02:44.900 --> 00:02:48.580
the Pond Creek Monster with Bryce Edwards. And Bryce was

48
00:02:48.659 --> 00:02:52.379
on your show not too long ago. And yeah, and

49
00:02:52.419 --> 00:02:56.810
then more recently within the last few years, been documenting

50
00:02:56.870 --> 00:02:59.330
the boots on the ground research that we do. And

51
00:02:59.370 --> 00:03:02.830
most of that is like, you know, like Bigfoot, although

52
00:03:02.870 --> 00:03:05.270
we do come across other things on occasion.

53
00:03:07.460 --> 00:03:10.539
It is some incredible work that you've done over the years.

54
00:03:10.580 --> 00:03:12.919
I mean, we've got to hang out one year, I believe,

55
00:03:12.979 --> 00:03:14.379
at the Van Meter Visitor Festival.

56
00:03:14.400 --> 00:03:15.300
That was really cool.

57
00:03:15.780 --> 00:03:19.310
To meet you in person there. I'll try to have

58
00:03:20.050 --> 00:03:23.330
a few links in the show notes. Guys, if you've

59
00:03:23.370 --> 00:03:29.750
never watched the Big Muddy Monster documentary Joe did, it's

60
00:03:29.949 --> 00:03:30.569
really good.

61
00:03:30.590 --> 00:03:31.430
Thank you.

62
00:03:31.689 --> 00:03:35.780
They're all extremely well done. The one about Bryce's situation,

63
00:03:36.099 --> 00:03:40.219
extremely well done. But Jason, first time for you on

64
00:03:40.259 --> 00:03:43.270
the show, first time for us meeting. Do you mind

65
00:03:44.050 --> 00:03:47.490
spending a few minutes talking about what it is that

66
00:03:47.550 --> 00:03:51.110
you do and how you met Joe and got involved

67
00:03:51.210 --> 00:03:51.689
with all this?

68
00:03:52.789 --> 00:03:53.310
Yeah, sure.

69
00:03:53.650 --> 00:03:56.659
So it was a few years ago. He was working

70
00:03:56.740 --> 00:03:59.849
on the Betsy Reed documentary. And at the time I

71
00:03:59.889 --> 00:04:02.250
was part of a paranormal research group and I just

72
00:04:02.289 --> 00:04:06.919
kind of focused more on ghost hunting the paranormal. And

73
00:04:06.939 --> 00:04:09.560
I had done that for probably at that point in time,

74
00:04:09.560 --> 00:04:13.819
16 years. And as interesting as the ghosts and the

75
00:04:13.860 --> 00:04:17.759
paranormal subject is, there was some cryptid stuff that kind

76
00:04:17.800 --> 00:04:20.560
of got me interested in the subject. And then Joe

77
00:04:20.600 --> 00:04:22.540
and I kind of hit it off after that video

78
00:04:22.620 --> 00:04:24.920
and we kind of got to talking and it just

79
00:04:24.959 --> 00:04:29.610
kind of bloomed from there. And now I'm, I help

80
00:04:29.629 --> 00:04:32.990
him as much as I can, and it's really been good,

81
00:04:33.050 --> 00:04:34.269
and it's fun.

82
00:04:34.350 --> 00:04:35.069
It really is.

83
00:04:36.430 --> 00:04:37.050
That's awesome.

84
00:04:37.389 --> 00:04:41.689
It's good to see that Joe's got a good team

85
00:04:42.379 --> 00:04:44.620
backing him up because.

86
00:04:46.060 --> 00:04:49.939
You're in the Garden of the Gods video that was

87
00:04:49.980 --> 00:04:51.759
put out. Is that right? Yeah.

88
00:04:51.980 --> 00:04:52.379
Exactly.

89
00:04:52.399 --> 00:04:54.199
I was like, oh, I know that face.

90
00:04:54.740 --> 00:04:55.060
Yeah.

91
00:04:56.269 --> 00:04:59.620
Speaking of of the garden of the gods uh my

92
00:04:59.629 --> 00:05:05.519
goodness that that video was was wild guys because and

93
00:05:06.000 --> 00:05:08.540
i think it was hadn't you i think you had

94
00:05:08.620 --> 00:05:10.519
reached out to me and been like what are some

95
00:05:10.899 --> 00:05:12.509
places we should go.

96
00:05:12.449 --> 00:05:14.290
To yeah is that how it went.

97
00:05:14.189 --> 00:05:16.949
Yeah yeah because i know you have a network of

98
00:05:17.350 --> 00:05:20.230
uh you know people so i was like and you're

99
00:05:20.250 --> 00:05:24.500
like uh you should reach out to uh uh Joe

100
00:05:24.579 --> 00:05:27.970
Jenkins and Jim Peters. And I've worked with those guys

101
00:05:28.029 --> 00:05:32.189
before and on a local case here, I had a

102
00:05:32.209 --> 00:05:36.470
good time with them, you know, good, good dudes. And

103
00:05:36.529 --> 00:05:39.600
I'm like, okay. So I did reach out to them

104
00:05:39.649 --> 00:05:43.139
and they're, they're like, yeah, let's, let's, let's do it.

105
00:05:43.220 --> 00:05:46.500
You know? So that's how we got ahold of that

106
00:05:46.540 --> 00:05:51.220
whole situation. And, you know, for people that don't know

107
00:05:51.259 --> 00:05:55.129
garden of the gods is like, probably the most visited

108
00:05:55.689 --> 00:05:58.769
site in Illinois, as far as like Shawnee national forest.

109
00:05:59.939 --> 00:06:03.819
And so Jason and I are both thinking garden of

110
00:06:03.860 --> 00:06:06.930
the gods. Like, what are you talking about? Like there's a,

111
00:06:07.459 --> 00:06:10.000
it's not like a million people go there, but there's

112
00:06:10.060 --> 00:06:12.269
enough people that go there to where you're like, why

113
00:06:12.310 --> 00:06:14.689
would anything be there? But it's not garden of the

114
00:06:14.730 --> 00:06:19.209
gods observation area. It's garden of the gods wilderness area. Um,

115
00:06:19.839 --> 00:06:23.139
which is multiple thousands of acres i think it's like

116
00:06:23.199 --> 00:06:25.899
six or seven but it's really that's just like a

117
00:06:25.959 --> 00:06:29.319
man-made border you know it's all forested down there so

118
00:06:29.959 --> 00:06:33.069
um yeah that's how we got into that situation and

119
00:06:33.110 --> 00:06:35.949
i'm i'm glad you did point me there yeah those

120
00:06:35.970 --> 00:06:39.949
guys are great and uh took us to a extremely

121
00:06:40.069 --> 00:06:42.430
interesting location let's put it that way.

122
00:06:43.310 --> 00:06:46.189
And i was so glad that i was able to

123
00:06:46.420 --> 00:06:48.680
actually point you guys there because the way you documented

124
00:06:48.720 --> 00:06:51.850
it was Awesome. And man, did you guys get some

125
00:06:52.550 --> 00:06:55.790
some good evidence from there? Jason, do you have any

126
00:06:55.829 --> 00:06:58.649
thoughts about what it was like to go into an

127
00:06:58.829 --> 00:07:01.980
area like the Garden of the Gods wilderness?

128
00:07:02.699 --> 00:07:05.560
Well, like he said, when when they first said that,

129
00:07:05.660 --> 00:07:08.879
I was thinking just the area around the observation. And

130
00:07:08.939 --> 00:07:11.259
I was like, I just don't know how that seems

131
00:07:11.279 --> 00:07:14.189
like there's too much. activity there. But then when we

132
00:07:14.269 --> 00:07:16.670
went to the area, like Joe said, it's a little

133
00:07:16.769 --> 00:07:21.149
over 7,000 acres that make up that wilderness. And unlike

134
00:07:21.230 --> 00:07:23.110
some of the other places in the Shawnee, it is

135
00:07:23.449 --> 00:07:26.910
one big chunk. The main chunk of the Garden of

136
00:07:26.949 --> 00:07:31.550
God's wilderness is all one piece. So it is several

137
00:07:31.610 --> 00:07:37.029
hundred acres and it just had the right, I guess, vibe,

138
00:07:37.269 --> 00:07:37.790
the area.

139
00:07:37.810 --> 00:07:41.279
I mean, I like waterways and stuff. I had waterways.

140
00:07:41.439 --> 00:07:43.939
And even though the river to river trail runs through there,

141
00:07:44.160 --> 00:07:46.939
there's just nobody back there. There's very few houses that

142
00:07:47.000 --> 00:07:50.310
border that area. So it seemed like a prime spot

143
00:07:50.410 --> 00:07:52.170
once we kind of started researching the area.

144
00:07:55.569 --> 00:07:57.870
It's a great video.

145
00:07:59.129 --> 00:08:03.750
Doc because for multiple reasons, but it's so cool when

146
00:08:04.649 --> 00:08:08.220
it's captured on audio or video when a person has

147
00:08:09.670 --> 00:08:12.949
he looking at it through my eyes, I would consider

148
00:08:12.970 --> 00:08:15.540
that audio that you captured.

149
00:08:16.019 --> 00:08:16.860
How did that affect you?

150
00:08:16.879 --> 00:08:19.579
That seems like it would be a life-changing experience to

151
00:08:19.620 --> 00:08:22.040
capture an audio like that and not just be like, Oh,

152
00:08:22.100 --> 00:08:22.560
it happened.

153
00:08:22.600 --> 00:08:24.040
You have to trust me. You know?

154
00:08:24.339 --> 00:08:26.160
Well, if you step back just a little bit, we

155
00:08:26.180 --> 00:08:31.569
did have a, we did have, um, an audio really,

156
00:08:31.610 --> 00:08:35.269
really good audio best. We had up to that point in, uh,

157
00:08:35.450 --> 00:08:39.049
Peoria County. Remember when that, uh, You did the story

158
00:08:39.070 --> 00:08:42.940
about the trucker. That's all the crossing. Well, so we

159
00:08:42.980 --> 00:08:46.600
went there to an unknown area and we were investigating.

160
00:08:46.639 --> 00:08:52.039
We had this short Ohio howl. It was a longer howl,

161
00:08:52.080 --> 00:08:55.190
but it wasn't super long. And that was our first,

162
00:08:55.309 --> 00:08:58.250
that was probably our best evidence to date as far

163
00:08:58.309 --> 00:09:02.730
as vocalization. And I'm just like, man, we got to

164
00:09:02.769 --> 00:09:05.669
go back there, you know? And at that time it was,

165
00:09:06.149 --> 00:09:08.850
I mean- We do a lot of stupid stuff because

166
00:09:09.500 --> 00:09:12.950
like we should have stayed there more and we didn't.

167
00:09:13.029 --> 00:09:16.029
You know, we moved on to a different location anyway.

168
00:09:16.429 --> 00:09:20.049
So fast forward, we go to the Garden of the Gods.

169
00:09:20.269 --> 00:09:23.100
And let me tell you something, Jeremiah, you made a

170
00:09:23.299 --> 00:09:26.480
post like a week before we got there where you're

171
00:09:26.500 --> 00:09:31.399
like tough things investigators do wrong. And like the top

172
00:09:31.559 --> 00:09:34.470
one was you don't have your audio running right when

173
00:09:34.509 --> 00:09:38.970
you get there. So guess what? We get there in

174
00:09:39.009 --> 00:09:42.409
the daytime to do like a little pre-investigation. They took

175
00:09:42.460 --> 00:09:45.700
us to three different areas. And I didn't even want

176
00:09:45.740 --> 00:09:48.700
to go to this third area because the first area

177
00:09:48.720 --> 00:09:53.519
was good. The second area was great. And these guys

178
00:09:53.539 --> 00:09:55.360
were like, we got one more area to go to.

179
00:09:55.379 --> 00:09:58.250
And I'm like, why? Why? Why? why do you know

180
00:09:58.309 --> 00:10:01.169
so we go to the third area we get to

181
00:10:01.490 --> 00:10:03.970
um the location that we're going to do a little

182
00:10:04.029 --> 00:10:09.220
base camp and i'm just doing b-roll we don't have

183
00:10:09.289 --> 00:10:15.289
audio running um and i do a whoop and I

184
00:10:15.330 --> 00:10:18.990
don't know, within several minutes, we hear the best callback

185
00:10:19.210 --> 00:10:23.070
I've ever heard in my life. It was, it's hard

186
00:10:23.090 --> 00:10:26.009
to describe it. It was like a high, higher pitch,

187
00:10:26.100 --> 00:10:29.720
but a really long, and it had like two tones

188
00:10:29.840 --> 00:10:32.639
in it. And then I believe there was a follow-up

189
00:10:32.700 --> 00:10:38.059
to that. And I'm freaking out because this is three

190
00:10:38.120 --> 00:10:43.149
o'clock in the afternoon. Like it's, you don't hear coyotes

191
00:10:43.169 --> 00:10:46.740
and it's, it didn't sound like a coyote, you know,

192
00:10:46.779 --> 00:10:48.940
it didn't sound like we, I know what an owl

193
00:10:48.980 --> 00:10:51.919
sounds like. It wasn't an owl. Like the vocalization was

194
00:10:52.779 --> 00:10:57.299
very long, right? Jason, like several seconds at least. And

195
00:10:58.279 --> 00:11:04.039
so of course there's more things that happen in the day,

196
00:11:04.299 --> 00:11:05.990
a lot more things. But then when we did the

197
00:11:06.029 --> 00:11:10.230
nighttime one, the nighttime one, you actually see in our video, like,

198
00:11:10.629 --> 00:11:15.250
it happens. And, and I'm like, first of all, I'm

199
00:11:15.269 --> 00:11:18.490
blown away for two different things. One hearing another vocalization

200
00:11:18.529 --> 00:11:22.429
and two, I had, I thought there's no way we're

201
00:11:22.450 --> 00:11:24.690
going to hear it again. We heard it several hours

202
00:11:24.769 --> 00:11:28.669
ago in the afternoon. So, so to hear it again,

203
00:11:29.149 --> 00:11:33.100
I'm double shocked. And then I think we heard four,

204
00:11:33.860 --> 00:11:37.759
four to six howls in succession at that time within

205
00:11:37.820 --> 00:11:41.289
like a one to two minute period. so i mean

206
00:11:42.269 --> 00:11:46.370
we got it captured pretty well on audio it is

207
00:11:46.429 --> 00:11:49.409
not a coyote it is not an owl and it

208
00:11:49.470 --> 00:11:53.529
sounds i even sent it to a primatologist associate of

209
00:11:53.549 --> 00:11:57.580
mine and she she didn't know what to think of

210
00:11:57.629 --> 00:12:00.179
it like she she goes this is super interesting to

211
00:12:00.240 --> 00:12:04.149
me it almost has like a a like a little

212
00:12:04.169 --> 00:12:06.549
bit of Gibbons sound in it, like a, like a

213
00:12:06.669 --> 00:12:11.120
lung whistling, but how to, you know what I'm saying?

214
00:12:12.049 --> 00:12:16.360
Dude, I do know what you're saying because I gotta

215
00:12:16.379 --> 00:12:16.779
be careful.

216
00:12:16.899 --> 00:12:20.639
The one time when I go to this area in Iowa,

217
00:12:22.159 --> 00:12:25.519
when I've heard whoops back, man, I was sitting in

218
00:12:25.539 --> 00:12:27.639
the tent and it was 7am and I was like,

219
00:12:28.659 --> 00:12:30.360
so weird. There's Gibbons here. And I was like, Whoa,

220
00:12:30.399 --> 00:12:33.100
listen to yourself. There's no Gibbons here. We're not by

221
00:12:33.139 --> 00:12:34.100
Blank Park Zoo, guys.

222
00:12:34.120 --> 00:12:34.379
Right.

223
00:12:34.700 --> 00:12:37.500
Yeah, I totally get the whole Gibbon thing. It's awesome.

224
00:12:37.919 --> 00:12:40.639
Do you mind if we play that audio that you

225
00:12:40.659 --> 00:12:43.549
captured and then we'll talk about it? All right, so

226
00:12:43.870 --> 00:12:46.850
I'm going to go ahead, play this, and we'll just

227
00:12:46.889 --> 00:12:47.570
listen to it here.

228
00:12:47.710 --> 00:12:49.649
The first part of that is me doing a whoop.

229
00:12:49.690 --> 00:12:52.480
You'll hear an owl, and then it's followed by the

230
00:12:53.639 --> 00:12:54.759
weird vocalizations.

231
00:12:57.080 --> 00:12:57.379
Whoop!

232
00:13:01.889 --> 00:13:03.730
Okay.

233
00:13:47.340 --> 00:13:49.379
So when I first saw that, I was like, oh

234
00:13:49.419 --> 00:13:51.159
my goodness, I was so happy for you.

235
00:13:52.000 --> 00:13:53.580
What was in the moment, what.

236
00:13:53.500 --> 00:13:57.549
Was your reaction to experience that? And I asked that

237
00:13:57.590 --> 00:13:58.590
question for both of you.

238
00:14:00.750 --> 00:14:03.000
If you watch the video, you can kind of hear me.

239
00:14:03.059 --> 00:14:06.690
I kind of cut it out, but I said, I

240
00:14:06.730 --> 00:14:10.850
think someone's bleeping with us right now. Like is someone

241
00:14:11.250 --> 00:14:14.149
messing with me right now? And I mean, look on

242
00:14:14.190 --> 00:14:16.610
everybody else's face. They have this kind of the same

243
00:14:16.649 --> 00:14:19.769
look I did. I mean, in shock and they're like, no, that's,

244
00:14:20.830 --> 00:14:23.750
that's no, that's not a person. That's not Kyle. You know,

245
00:14:23.830 --> 00:14:27.110
it was, it was just so eerie that I did

246
00:14:27.169 --> 00:14:32.320
not risk expect another response since we heard it in

247
00:14:32.360 --> 00:14:35.750
the daytime. I just didn't. So it was, super shocking

248
00:14:35.769 --> 00:14:38.990
around the middle of nowhere hearing this crazy sound. And,

249
00:14:39.210 --> 00:14:41.389
you know, Joe Jenkins, like, this is what you're here for.

250
00:14:41.409 --> 00:14:45.470
And I'm thinking, you know, yeah, I guess.

251
00:14:48.169 --> 00:14:51.240
No, he's absolutely right. And I laugh because I get

252
00:14:51.299 --> 00:14:55.100
put in those situations too. At this time, just real

253
00:14:55.120 --> 00:14:57.899
quick before we go to Jason. So you guys are

254
00:14:57.960 --> 00:15:02.340
not near like a public campsite or anything. You're far

255
00:15:02.419 --> 00:15:03.379
away from stuff like that.

256
00:15:03.659 --> 00:15:07.440
There's a primitive site close to there. It was closed

257
00:15:08.019 --> 00:15:11.580
that night. It was closed for repairs or something.

258
00:15:12.500 --> 00:15:13.159
Perfect, perfect.

259
00:15:13.200 --> 00:15:16.970
And Jason, what were your thoughts? What was your response

260
00:15:17.009 --> 00:15:18.149
to when that was all going down?

261
00:15:19.450 --> 00:15:23.269
Well, so talking about not knowing that it wasn't an

262
00:15:23.450 --> 00:15:26.070
owl or a coyote, that's the most frustrating thing. We

263
00:15:26.090 --> 00:15:29.490
get comments all the time about, is it an owl

264
00:15:29.509 --> 00:15:31.960
or a coyote? We've been in the woods. I mean,

265
00:15:32.019 --> 00:15:34.370
I grew up hunting coyotes. I've been around coyotes all

266
00:15:34.409 --> 00:15:36.990
my life. I know the difference between a coyote and

267
00:15:37.049 --> 00:15:39.649
something that isn't a coyote. And I think maybe even

268
00:15:39.690 --> 00:15:42.409
in that audio, Joe, correct me if I'm wrong, didn't

269
00:15:42.649 --> 00:15:43.690
some coyotes.

270
00:15:43.330 --> 00:15:48.250
Start, didn't they start yipping and howling after that we

271
00:15:48.289 --> 00:15:48.789
heard that?

272
00:15:48.929 --> 00:15:52.139
It was after that, but you can definitely tell the comparison.

273
00:15:52.240 --> 00:15:55.299
We recorded the coyotes as well. Those aren't coyotes. You

274
00:15:55.320 --> 00:15:58.440
can tell a distinct difference in the sound. So, I mean,

275
00:15:58.480 --> 00:16:00.480
it made the hair stand up on my arms and

276
00:16:00.740 --> 00:16:01.379
I was excited.

277
00:16:01.399 --> 00:16:01.700
Yeah.

278
00:16:03.330 --> 00:16:06.320
It's wild because I'm thinking back to when I had

279
00:16:07.559 --> 00:16:12.340
talked to the, they call themselves the Squatchers, right?

280
00:16:13.240 --> 00:16:13.870
Yes.

281
00:16:13.899 --> 00:16:14.230
Yeah, yeah.

282
00:16:14.669 --> 00:16:18.269
And just the audio that was played in that episode

283
00:16:18.929 --> 00:16:20.809
is some of the wildest audio ever.

284
00:16:22.129 --> 00:16:24.350
I've ever heard on this show. I mean, it is

285
00:16:24.629 --> 00:16:26.129
some weird, weird stuff.

286
00:16:26.210 --> 00:16:28.529
So I'm, I'm trying to put myself in your shoes

287
00:16:28.549 --> 00:16:30.950
because you probably like listen to that audio over and

288
00:16:31.070 --> 00:16:33.070
over and like, okay, this is what they've captured and

289
00:16:33.110 --> 00:16:35.330
we're going there. But then it's like, man, when it

290
00:16:35.370 --> 00:16:37.250
really happens to you, it's just like, ah, it was

291
00:16:37.289 --> 00:16:39.740
so cool. It is so cool, man.

292
00:16:39.860 --> 00:16:40.200
Yeah.

293
00:16:40.740 --> 00:16:45.279
But, uh, so let's, uh, I'll, I'll let you guys

294
00:16:45.320 --> 00:16:47.580
talk for a little bit. What are some, you know,

295
00:16:47.600 --> 00:16:49.919
during that same garden of the gods, what are some

296
00:16:49.960 --> 00:16:52.570
other cool things that you guys experienced or, I know

297
00:16:52.590 --> 00:16:56.909
we have some pictures to show as well, and I'll

298
00:16:56.929 --> 00:16:57.840
let you kind of go for it.

299
00:16:58.429 --> 00:17:02.940
Yeah, so I think it was after, yeah, it had

300
00:17:02.980 --> 00:17:05.400
to have been after the howls, because the howls happened

301
00:17:05.480 --> 00:17:09.099
right when we got there. And you can kind of

302
00:17:09.160 --> 00:17:11.519
see it in the video, the daytime footage, but I

303
00:17:11.799 --> 00:17:14.940
have no audio. I had the audio cranked down on

304
00:17:14.960 --> 00:17:17.180
the camera because I just did an interview and we

305
00:17:17.220 --> 00:17:20.220
were using labs. So we didn't have audio running, but

306
00:17:20.240 --> 00:17:23.529
you could see me yelling at the guys, And they're

307
00:17:23.609 --> 00:17:26.769
kind of looking and Jason's like, are you kidding me

308
00:17:26.829 --> 00:17:30.549
type of thing, you know? But after that, they're kind of,

309
00:17:30.730 --> 00:17:33.750
it's like, so let me just describe the area. It's

310
00:17:33.849 --> 00:17:36.950
an old fire road. I don't know if it's a

311
00:17:37.009 --> 00:17:39.509
part of a logging road or not, but it's like

312
00:17:39.549 --> 00:17:46.259
an old fire road. Very compact gravel with soil. I mean,

313
00:17:46.279 --> 00:17:49.059
you can't see a lot of gravel in most of

314
00:17:49.099 --> 00:17:52.690
the spots. It's very rutted out. kind of go up

315
00:17:52.730 --> 00:17:57.430
this little hill. And then there's like, I don't think it's,

316
00:17:57.809 --> 00:17:59.829
I think it's okay to mention there's like a, an

317
00:17:59.890 --> 00:18:03.259
overgrown cemetery back there, which is really interesting as well,

318
00:18:03.319 --> 00:18:09.359
but like old, old type of cemetery. And then the

319
00:18:09.400 --> 00:18:12.319
road keeps going back and winds for a few miles.

320
00:18:12.400 --> 00:18:15.359
But so we're kind of just exploring that area. I'm

321
00:18:15.400 --> 00:18:19.970
getting B roll and Jason and Jim Peters are around

322
00:18:19.990 --> 00:18:22.519
the corner down the road a little bit. And Joe

323
00:18:22.559 --> 00:18:24.299
Jenkins looks at me and goes, I don't want to

324
00:18:24.339 --> 00:18:29.349
be that guy, but this looks like a footprint. And

325
00:18:29.440 --> 00:18:32.230
I go over to where he was looking and yeah,

326
00:18:32.289 --> 00:18:35.130
it was like this really blotchy kind of thing. And

327
00:18:35.170 --> 00:18:37.750
I'm like, yeah, I can see that. But what about

328
00:18:37.829 --> 00:18:41.809
this next to it? Like there was something even more defined,

329
00:18:41.930 --> 00:18:45.349
like close to it. And I'm like, Hey Jason, I

330
00:18:47.009 --> 00:18:48.789
think I got a footprint. And he goes, well, you

331
00:18:48.829 --> 00:18:52.579
need to come see this. You know, we, I put

332
00:18:52.619 --> 00:18:56.740
the tripod over the footprint I found and then we

333
00:18:56.759 --> 00:19:00.039
walked down the hill and you know, Jason's over there.

334
00:19:00.059 --> 00:19:03.619
But before I even go to see Jason, there's this tree,

335
00:19:03.700 --> 00:19:08.390
it's about like this big around, you know, snapped. It's

336
00:19:08.450 --> 00:19:11.730
like a, about a, I don't know, 15, 20 foot

337
00:19:11.769 --> 00:19:15.740
tall tree snapped and it's splintered. Like it's not like

338
00:19:16.039 --> 00:19:18.779
rotted and broke. It's a splintered tree on the side

339
00:19:18.819 --> 00:19:21.029
of the road that, And it's kind of like next

340
00:19:21.069 --> 00:19:24.509
to other trees. So like, you know, you try to

341
00:19:25.150 --> 00:19:27.569
think in your head, what could break this tree? Well,

342
00:19:27.650 --> 00:19:30.450
it's not a piece of equipment because there's other trees

343
00:19:30.569 --> 00:19:33.880
blocking it. Other equipment being road service. I don't know

344
00:19:34.180 --> 00:19:38.859
what it would be, but, and there's still leaves on it. Some,

345
00:19:39.019 --> 00:19:42.140
some kind of green, but you know, I'm like, I

346
00:19:42.319 --> 00:19:44.940
think we have a tree break here. Like, and I'm

347
00:19:44.980 --> 00:19:49.809
not a big tree break or, But, you know, apes...

348
00:19:50.299 --> 00:19:52.819
are known to do tree breaks, you know, as a

349
00:19:52.859 --> 00:19:56.890
sign of dominance. So I see this thing and I'm like,

350
00:19:56.950 --> 00:19:59.589
what the heck? And then Jason's like, well, come over

351
00:19:59.630 --> 00:20:03.549
here and look at this. And so, Jason, tell them

352
00:20:03.569 --> 00:20:04.009
what you saw.

353
00:20:05.099 --> 00:20:08.460
Yeah, I mean, that footprint stuck out really well.

354
00:20:09.230 --> 00:20:11.549
What we think are like the pad, the toe pad

355
00:20:11.970 --> 00:20:13.990
prints were just sticking out.

356
00:20:15.329 --> 00:20:18.170
But very defined. It was easy to see in the

357
00:20:18.190 --> 00:20:19.049
dark with a flashlight.

358
00:20:19.750 --> 00:20:21.759
And is this one of the, I know you have,

359
00:20:22.430 --> 00:20:24.460
I know you have a few photos that you've sent

360
00:20:24.559 --> 00:20:25.240
of footprints.

361
00:20:25.720 --> 00:20:26.319
Yeah.

362
00:20:26.539 --> 00:20:30.819
Okay, so we'll go ahead and we'll go through.

363
00:20:30.940 --> 00:20:34.599
So yeah, that was from the daytime, yeah. And just

364
00:20:34.640 --> 00:20:36.480
looking at that, if you, if you look at that

365
00:20:36.559 --> 00:20:39.140
right now, I can't point to it obviously, but you

366
00:20:39.180 --> 00:20:42.299
see three things that look like toes. We don't think

367
00:20:42.339 --> 00:20:45.130
those are the toes. We think there's impressions above that.

368
00:20:45.170 --> 00:20:49.410
I think those are like this, like the pads kind

369
00:20:49.430 --> 00:20:52.069
of like in your foot. That's what, because if you

370
00:20:52.089 --> 00:20:55.589
look above that, there's like on the right hand side,

371
00:20:55.950 --> 00:20:57.210
I believe that's a big toe.

372
00:20:58.299 --> 00:20:58.539
Gotcha.

373
00:20:58.579 --> 00:20:59.579
Right above. Yeah.

374
00:21:00.700 --> 00:21:05.170
And our, Are all these from the same timeframe or

375
00:21:05.190 --> 00:21:06.029
from different timeframes?

376
00:21:06.309 --> 00:21:10.950
There might be one of them from the past two

377
00:21:10.970 --> 00:21:14.589
weeks ago. I think... So there wasn't just one print.

378
00:21:14.630 --> 00:21:19.599
There was a series of impressions, probably like four or

379
00:21:19.640 --> 00:21:21.660
five of them. I believe this is one of the

380
00:21:21.740 --> 00:21:27.079
other impressions. It's not as good as that one. This

381
00:21:27.200 --> 00:21:30.119
is the one you're going to click on now. That is...

382
00:21:32.160 --> 00:21:35.039
what we think is a juvenile print that was right

383
00:21:35.140 --> 00:21:38.619
next to the trackway. Um, that was like the most

384
00:21:38.680 --> 00:21:42.240
defined one of the juvenile we saw. I mean, so

385
00:21:42.299 --> 00:21:46.339
it rained of course the night before and we, and some,

386
00:21:46.640 --> 00:21:48.720
some of this is a little washed out. That's what

387
00:21:48.779 --> 00:21:54.829
we're seeing there. But we think now I'm, I'm not, I'm,

388
00:21:55.109 --> 00:21:58.180
I'm somewhat of a skeptic. I'm saying this is potentially

389
00:21:58.269 --> 00:21:59.289
a juvenile print.

390
00:22:00.430 --> 00:22:01.589
I gotcha. I gotcha.

391
00:22:01.950 --> 00:22:08.869
Yeah um this is from that the that first print

392
00:22:08.890 --> 00:22:12.160
you showed like joe jenkins used this scanner program to

393
00:22:12.220 --> 00:22:16.400
measure it so yeah it's like uh he's showing like

394
00:22:16.759 --> 00:22:19.599
seven like i measured it with tape jason did and

395
00:22:19.640 --> 00:22:22.869
it's and it's pretty accurate it was like almost eight

396
00:22:22.930 --> 00:22:26.869
inches across at the top and it And if you

397
00:22:26.910 --> 00:22:28.970
go farther up from where he's got that seven and

398
00:22:29.009 --> 00:22:31.250
three quarter, it's a little bit wider to where we

399
00:22:31.269 --> 00:22:35.079
think the toes would be like that 14 inch part.

400
00:22:35.299 --> 00:22:39.700
I think that's ending in the first quarter of the

401
00:22:39.759 --> 00:22:42.460
big toe. Like I think it would go up a

402
00:22:42.500 --> 00:22:47.660
little bit like maybe 15 inches, if that makes sense.

403
00:22:47.720 --> 00:22:52.109
So like 15 inches and probably closer to eight inches

404
00:22:52.170 --> 00:22:54.809
wide at the top. And it's about six inches wide

405
00:22:54.869 --> 00:22:55.450
at the bottom.

406
00:22:56.720 --> 00:22:58.019
We got one more here.

407
00:23:00.440 --> 00:23:05.470
So that one, that's a different measurement of the same one.

408
00:23:05.509 --> 00:23:08.650
That one, he's not, again, he's only going to the

409
00:23:08.710 --> 00:23:09.710
top of the pad.

410
00:23:10.049 --> 00:23:10.250
Right.

411
00:23:10.789 --> 00:23:15.630
So, yeah. What we think, what we're seeing as a pad. Yeah.

412
00:23:16.680 --> 00:23:19.140
And then let's see. So I'm going to do that.

413
00:23:19.960 --> 00:23:23.359
We also have, this is so cool that you're able

414
00:23:23.400 --> 00:23:23.819
to do this.

415
00:23:24.859 --> 00:23:28.160
Um, and I wish more people would be equipped.

416
00:23:28.220 --> 00:23:31.519
I think this scan is from a footprint Jim found

417
00:23:31.880 --> 00:23:34.619
on that road a couple of weeks ago.

418
00:23:35.319 --> 00:23:36.640
That's still a cool example.

419
00:23:36.660 --> 00:23:39.539
We're going to, it's a 3d scan and it's, it's

420
00:23:39.559 --> 00:23:41.359
just a cool example of what you can do with

421
00:23:41.400 --> 00:23:43.089
an app called scan averse when it comes.

422
00:23:43.180 --> 00:23:47.950
Or it could be this one. I have to. Oh yeah.

423
00:23:48.009 --> 00:23:50.789
It's this one. It's the one Jason found. Yeah.

424
00:23:57.599 --> 00:24:00.009
So that is you're saying that's the one that Jason

425
00:24:00.049 --> 00:24:00.609
found right there.

426
00:24:00.970 --> 00:24:05.410
Yeah. So just to tell Jason found that in the daytime.

427
00:24:05.529 --> 00:24:09.099
So like right after I did found I was looking

428
00:24:09.140 --> 00:24:11.599
at that. Well, it looks like a tree break. So

429
00:24:11.640 --> 00:24:14.339
he went over. So it was like a. there's a

430
00:24:14.359 --> 00:24:16.519
little area that had a dip in it and it

431
00:24:16.579 --> 00:24:19.680
had a little water around it from the rain. So

432
00:24:19.720 --> 00:24:21.920
it was more, I think that's why we were able

433
00:24:21.940 --> 00:24:24.839
to get a trackway there because the rest of the road,

434
00:24:25.380 --> 00:24:27.420
like that first print I was talking about that I

435
00:24:27.460 --> 00:24:30.700
found it, that place is so compact, like it barely

436
00:24:30.759 --> 00:24:36.099
left a scuff. You know, like it, like we, Jim

437
00:24:36.319 --> 00:24:40.049
and Joe cast that print that this one that with

438
00:24:40.089 --> 00:24:43.730
the scan and it's like, I don't even know if

439
00:24:43.750 --> 00:24:45.369
it's a half an inch cast.

440
00:24:45.410 --> 00:24:47.230
That's how I think it's like a quarter inch.

441
00:24:47.490 --> 00:24:52.049
Yeah. Yeah. So it's not a great cast, but to

442
00:24:52.109 --> 00:24:54.470
me and Jason, it's great. Cause it's like the first

443
00:24:54.630 --> 00:24:58.789
one we like we're able to cast, I guess, you know,

444
00:24:58.930 --> 00:25:03.279
but I mean, you could still see like, I'm looking

445
00:25:03.380 --> 00:25:05.380
at the cast and you can see kind of like

446
00:25:05.400 --> 00:25:08.720
the pad area and like toes. It's not the greatest

447
00:25:08.759 --> 00:25:11.000
cast in the world. If anybody else looked at it,

448
00:25:11.019 --> 00:25:14.230
they would say, you know, whatever. It's more, it's more

449
00:25:14.269 --> 00:25:17.150
for our benefit, you know, and then they cast the

450
00:25:17.190 --> 00:25:20.700
juvenile print too. And that one's kind of blobby. I just,

451
00:25:20.900 --> 00:25:23.740
they said it rained more. So more things filled in

452
00:25:23.779 --> 00:25:26.579
and to it, but it's, you know, both of them

453
00:25:27.680 --> 00:25:32.279
to us are very interesting, you know, especially cause it's like,

454
00:25:32.869 --> 00:25:35.930
especially cause it's a track way. It's not just one.

455
00:25:36.170 --> 00:25:38.509
Everybody's always like, Oh, you found one print. No, we

456
00:25:38.549 --> 00:25:43.230
found multiple prints, you know, The strides are about 48 inches.

457
00:25:45.210 --> 00:25:49.170
So experiencing the different things you experienced at Garden of

458
00:25:49.190 --> 00:25:53.160
the Gods, did it change your mind on anything? You

459
00:25:53.660 --> 00:25:59.079
mentioned that you go into things with a skeptical mind sometimes, Joe.

460
00:25:59.759 --> 00:26:03.329
Absolutely. I mean, you have to, right? And I've always

461
00:26:03.380 --> 00:26:08.769
been a hopeful skeptic. I totally believe in the possibility

462
00:26:08.789 --> 00:26:11.859
of Bigfoot. Do I believe in the possibility of Bigfoot

463
00:26:11.900 --> 00:26:17.740
in Illinois? That's what we're out there trying to figure out. Again,

464
00:26:17.759 --> 00:26:26.750
number five state as far as reported sightings. With anything,

465
00:26:26.769 --> 00:26:31.309
you want definitive proof. We're out there trying to get

466
00:26:31.349 --> 00:26:36.990
some definitive proof. Another thing on that nighttime vocalization, after

467
00:26:37.029 --> 00:26:40.289
we heard a series of those, within a minute or

468
00:26:40.349 --> 00:26:44.410
two after that maybe within a minute um we heard

469
00:26:44.690 --> 00:26:48.250
to me like at the time i'm like is someone

470
00:26:48.289 --> 00:26:51.299
out here with a shotgun like we heard this huge

471
00:26:51.420 --> 00:26:55.420
blast and the other guys are like i'm pretty sure

472
00:26:55.480 --> 00:26:58.420
jason was the first one he's like no that's a

473
00:26:58.480 --> 00:27:02.170
tree break and uh or a tree getting pushed over.

474
00:27:02.230 --> 00:27:05.410
Like it sounded like a huge dead tree getting pushed over.

475
00:27:05.609 --> 00:27:08.890
And if you listen to it, it's got that multiple snap, snap,

476
00:27:08.910 --> 00:27:13.210
snap crash. It's, it's not like a, a gun going off.

477
00:27:13.309 --> 00:27:16.269
And then, and then I don't think we caught it

478
00:27:16.349 --> 00:27:20.069
on audio, but Jason heard another one from like, like

479
00:27:20.109 --> 00:27:24.130
it was almost like a response knockover, you know, from

480
00:27:24.190 --> 00:27:28.700
a different direction. So does it change me? Like, I'm

481
00:27:28.759 --> 00:27:31.839
getting less and less skeptical and more on the side

482
00:27:31.880 --> 00:27:34.420
of believing there's something going on out there.

483
00:27:35.920 --> 00:27:36.240
Okay.

484
00:27:36.839 --> 00:27:41.359
And, and, and Jason, you know, you have all this

485
00:27:41.460 --> 00:27:46.480
background with, with paranormal research. Does that, have you found

486
00:27:46.519 --> 00:27:49.259
that that, that plays into this at all? Or did

487
00:27:49.279 --> 00:27:51.400
you kind of just leave that to the side and

488
00:27:51.420 --> 00:27:54.740
then now you're fully focused on this as a, as

489
00:27:54.779 --> 00:27:55.460
a Bigfoot guy?

490
00:27:56.559 --> 00:27:59.779
No, I think, uh, Part of the paranormal side of

491
00:27:59.819 --> 00:28:03.700
that was being open-minded. I experienced enough things for people

492
00:28:03.740 --> 00:28:07.000
to tell me that ghosts don't exist, but I had

493
00:28:07.039 --> 00:28:09.420
enough evidence in the time that I did that that

494
00:28:09.460 --> 00:28:13.369
I have to completely stay open-minded. Everyone always asks me

495
00:28:13.410 --> 00:28:14.490
what my opinion is.

496
00:28:14.549 --> 00:28:16.970
Do I think it's an ape? Do I think it's paranormal?

497
00:28:17.670 --> 00:28:18.329
I don't know.

498
00:28:20.089 --> 00:28:23.920
It's all interesting, and I don't really... I can't tell

499
00:28:23.960 --> 00:28:26.119
you that I have a, this is what I think

500
00:28:26.180 --> 00:28:28.599
it is. And this is how I go about researching it.

501
00:28:29.319 --> 00:28:32.380
I just research it. If you told me to take

502
00:28:32.460 --> 00:28:34.960
some paranormal equipment to go out and look for Bigfoot,

503
00:28:35.269 --> 00:28:37.829
I would do that. I wouldn't say, Nope, that's not

504
00:28:37.869 --> 00:28:42.130
going to work. So yeah, it's kind of the skills

505
00:28:42.170 --> 00:28:45.130
that I use there to investigate. I use here and

506
00:28:45.490 --> 00:28:47.650
a lot of it overlaps. I don't know that it's,

507
00:28:48.339 --> 00:28:52.200
that Bigfoot is paranormal or UFO related, but it helps

508
00:28:52.269 --> 00:28:56.109
me stay open-minded to any possibilities. People are seeing something,

509
00:28:56.329 --> 00:28:59.289
not everybody's lying. So I just, I'm trying to figure

510
00:28:59.309 --> 00:29:00.589
out what it is they're seeing.

511
00:29:01.130 --> 00:29:01.710
That's for sure.

512
00:29:01.730 --> 00:29:07.029
Uh, that would be absolutely impossible. Um, so question for

513
00:29:07.049 --> 00:29:09.390
both of you guys, thinking of like all of the

514
00:29:10.069 --> 00:29:15.990
times that you've gone out and specifically, uh, Bigfoot related stuff, uh,

515
00:29:16.599 --> 00:29:19.819
what would you say has there been a one time

516
00:29:19.980 --> 00:29:24.140
in particular where you're like wow what just happened was

517
00:29:24.740 --> 00:29:27.049
probably i don't know if it's gonna ever get better

518
00:29:27.430 --> 00:29:30.250
than that for a bigfoot interaction or i don't know

519
00:29:30.289 --> 00:29:31.809
how we can beat that you know.

520
00:29:31.829 --> 00:29:33.890
Well we're kind of talking about it because we're talking

521
00:29:33.930 --> 00:29:37.829
about okay yeah we heard we heard vocalizations uh trees

522
00:29:37.869 --> 00:29:43.599
getting pushed over found footprints uh possible tree break um

523
00:29:44.619 --> 00:29:47.109
i mean the only thing we're missing is uh a

524
00:29:47.160 --> 00:29:52.470
visual let's see a visual yeah for sure we've had

525
00:29:52.509 --> 00:29:55.569
we've actually found another footprint what we think is a

526
00:29:55.609 --> 00:29:59.509
footprint on our very first investigation together And that was

527
00:29:59.650 --> 00:30:02.380
also in the Shawnee. And it was more on, like,

528
00:30:02.420 --> 00:30:06.500
Garden of the Gods is kind of southeast. And a

529
00:30:07.259 --> 00:30:10.759
lot of times we go southwest. And we found an

530
00:30:10.839 --> 00:30:14.730
impression in a creek bed next to our campground. And

531
00:30:14.970 --> 00:30:17.970
we were, like, one of two people camping there that night.

532
00:30:18.029 --> 00:30:21.349
And the creek bed goes down, like, six feet. The

533
00:30:21.390 --> 00:30:24.769
night before, Jason and I heard what we think sounded

534
00:30:24.809 --> 00:30:28.460
like three whoops. You know, you always... Audio is very anomalous,

535
00:30:28.500 --> 00:30:31.000
but it sounded like whoops next morning, check in the

536
00:30:31.059 --> 00:30:36.609
creek bed. There's a 12 inch print. Looks like a

537
00:30:36.809 --> 00:30:41.390
footprint there and other scuff marks for an impression. But I,

538
00:30:41.609 --> 00:30:44.190
I mean, I talked to Jason about that. It's like,

539
00:30:44.250 --> 00:30:46.470
we've had a lot of weird stuff happen. And then

540
00:30:46.569 --> 00:30:48.569
after about a week or two, we just kind of

541
00:30:48.609 --> 00:30:53.190
blow it off. Like all nonchalant, like, okay, well onto

542
00:30:53.210 --> 00:30:57.099
the next, you know, cause it's a weird situation. Yeah.

543
00:30:57.470 --> 00:30:58.869
Don't forget that footprint.

544
00:30:59.390 --> 00:31:01.529
We crawled up the edge of the bank a little

545
00:31:01.569 --> 00:31:03.579
bit and it was right in line with our camper.

546
00:31:04.130 --> 00:31:04.359
Yeah.

547
00:31:04.890 --> 00:31:06.859
It's like whatever was in the creek was standing there

548
00:31:06.980 --> 00:31:10.400
staring right at our campsite. And you walked that creek

549
00:31:10.480 --> 00:31:13.000
the evening before filming in that.

550
00:31:12.940 --> 00:31:15.799
Area and didn't see anything. So it happened that night

551
00:31:16.119 --> 00:31:18.200
and it was what? High 20s?

552
00:31:19.059 --> 00:31:22.240
Yeah, I think it was like 25 degrees Fahrenheit that night.

553
00:31:22.880 --> 00:31:24.599
Yeah, we had water sitting out in a jug, and

554
00:31:24.640 --> 00:31:26.960
the top was frozen the next morning. So there wasn't

555
00:31:27.000 --> 00:31:28.940
anybody walking barefoot in that creek.

556
00:31:28.779 --> 00:31:29.480
Bed at that time.

557
00:31:30.900 --> 00:31:33.700
Oh, that's a really creepy observation.

558
00:31:34.789 --> 00:31:37.769
Or a creepy event where it was pretty much checking

559
00:31:37.789 --> 00:31:38.269
you guys out.

560
00:31:38.869 --> 00:31:39.089
Right.

561
00:31:39.150 --> 00:31:44.710
Which does happen a lot. So after you put this

562
00:31:44.890 --> 00:31:48.410
out on the YouTube channel, did you get any contacts

563
00:31:48.450 --> 00:31:51.109
from people that were like, oh, yeah, garden of the gods?

564
00:31:52.380 --> 00:31:53.819
I've had this happen. Check it out.

565
00:31:55.460 --> 00:31:57.900
I mean, not so much, but what's funny is Joe

566
00:31:57.980 --> 00:32:01.289
and Jim led a group of investigators there a couple

567
00:32:01.349 --> 00:32:01.950
weeks ago.

568
00:32:01.970 --> 00:32:03.349
Okay.

569
00:32:03.809 --> 00:32:07.130
And we were there a couple weeks ago, and so

570
00:32:07.150 --> 00:32:09.690
they're like, hey, why don't you guys go there Friday night,

571
00:32:10.450 --> 00:32:12.309
and then we'll stay out of that area. So we

572
00:32:12.349 --> 00:32:14.890
went Friday night, and.

573
00:32:16.730 --> 00:32:19.680
We did our e-bike thing. So we, we take our e-bikes.

574
00:32:19.779 --> 00:32:23.079
It was me, Jason and our buddy, cameraman Russ, who

575
00:32:23.099 --> 00:32:28.500
helps with filming and documenting. And we go to the,

576
00:32:29.220 --> 00:32:31.579
I don't know how far the cemetery is down, Jason.

577
00:32:31.599 --> 00:32:32.420
What do you think it is?

578
00:32:33.099 --> 00:32:36.279
I'd say three quarters to a mile deep, probably.

579
00:32:37.480 --> 00:32:43.190
So that's from the trailhead. So we went down there,

580
00:32:43.230 --> 00:32:47.869
I had the new audio recorder going and, I did

581
00:32:47.900 --> 00:32:51.549
a whoop. I fully expected a callback this time. Guess what?

582
00:32:51.730 --> 00:32:55.869
We didn't get a callback. And then, um, and then, uh,

583
00:32:57.569 --> 00:33:00.309
we did, we investigated out there for a couple hours.

584
00:33:01.230 --> 00:33:04.279
It was a rain. It was a big storm was

585
00:33:04.339 --> 00:33:06.559
coming in. We're like, okay, let's, let's go. We don't

586
00:33:06.579 --> 00:33:09.019
want to get caught in the storm on the way out.

587
00:33:09.059 --> 00:33:11.819
There's like this little hilly section on the logging road.

588
00:33:11.880 --> 00:33:16.309
It goes down to the trailhead. And, uh, I remember

589
00:33:16.410 --> 00:33:18.569
I was on camera, you know, I got a GoPro

590
00:33:18.670 --> 00:33:21.230
on and I'm like, man, I'm feeling kind of like

591
00:33:21.250 --> 00:33:23.289
some weird going on here. And we stopped and I

592
00:33:23.329 --> 00:33:26.099
tell Jason that like, I'm getting a weird vibe here.

593
00:33:26.190 --> 00:33:29.680
And whatever that means, dude, you know, like I just

594
00:33:29.720 --> 00:33:31.970
had a weird vibe. I don't, I couldn't explain it.

595
00:33:32.119 --> 00:33:35.799
And it was on this hilly area. And on the video,

596
00:33:35.839 --> 00:33:39.759
you can kind of hear what sounds like a percussion sound,

597
00:33:40.299 --> 00:33:42.309
but that could be anything. But anyway, it was just

598
00:33:42.390 --> 00:33:45.269
interesting to know there was some percussion there. And then

599
00:33:45.309 --> 00:33:49.609
we leave, we get to the trailhead and this pertains

600
00:33:49.650 --> 00:33:52.349
to the next story, but there was just these, a

601
00:33:52.410 --> 00:33:55.450
bunch of barred owls. Like it sounded like 20 of them,

602
00:33:55.519 --> 00:33:57.319
who knows how many there were, but they were just

603
00:33:57.400 --> 00:33:59.960
going off. And I got it on recording and I'm

604
00:34:00.259 --> 00:34:03.039
just to like show people, this is an owl. This

605
00:34:03.119 --> 00:34:06.059
isn't a Bigfoot, but like, they were just like chattering,

606
00:34:06.099 --> 00:34:10.179
like no, nobody's business. You know, the next night, these

607
00:34:10.260 --> 00:34:14.239
guys go out, Jason and Joe take those other investigators and,

608
00:34:14.920 --> 00:34:18.650
They had multiple things happen to them. And I was

609
00:34:18.690 --> 00:34:22.570
just watching one of their videos. And they specifically mentioned

610
00:34:22.590 --> 00:34:26.409
that hill area. Like they believed they were being followed out.

611
00:34:27.170 --> 00:34:30.900
They saw like eyeshine there. They had like weird stuff

612
00:34:30.940 --> 00:34:36.159
happening there. And then I know Jim found one. But

613
00:34:36.199 --> 00:34:40.480
they found multiple tracks at the trailhead. Which were fresh.

614
00:34:40.679 --> 00:34:43.639
So they think they happened that night. In my mind...

615
00:34:44.329 --> 00:34:47.449
we were being followed out the night before. So I

616
00:34:47.469 --> 00:34:49.679
don't know how old the tracks are. They think they're

617
00:34:49.699 --> 00:34:55.000
super fresh. Um, but, um, so within, within one to

618
00:34:55.000 --> 00:34:57.480
24 hours, I guess those tracks were made at that

619
00:34:57.539 --> 00:35:01.739
trailhead coming out, like it was falling something out of

620
00:35:01.780 --> 00:35:05.380
the woods. And, and they also mentioned the owls. They

621
00:35:05.400 --> 00:35:07.659
brought out the owls in the video, how like crazy

622
00:35:07.699 --> 00:35:10.679
it sounded, how many of them there were like, What

623
00:35:10.699 --> 00:35:13.139
do owls mean? I don't know, but it's just kind

624
00:35:13.159 --> 00:35:16.019
of interesting to note. And it's interesting to note that

625
00:35:16.059 --> 00:35:21.119
they had the experiences right at that place too. So like,

626
00:35:21.219 --> 00:35:24.320
we're not the only people that are experiencing stuff in

627
00:35:24.380 --> 00:35:25.760
that research area.

628
00:35:26.900 --> 00:35:30.260
That, and I think that's, that's a huge observation for

629
00:35:30.280 --> 00:35:33.309
you to make is you'll start to, you're probably already

630
00:35:33.349 --> 00:35:37.030
realizing this, but you'll start to notice, Oh, this one area,

631
00:35:38.510 --> 00:35:42.019
weird stuff happens. And I could probably talk to other

632
00:35:42.059 --> 00:35:44.760
people that researched this area throughout the years if I

633
00:35:44.780 --> 00:35:47.489
could find them and hear similar things. But Jason, what

634
00:35:47.530 --> 00:35:51.530
was that experience like for you? Joe just mentioned that

635
00:35:51.590 --> 00:35:53.889
you were experiencing some weird things out there.

636
00:35:55.409 --> 00:35:58.070
Yeah, so it's kind of neat.

637
00:35:58.369 --> 00:36:01.510
I mean, the few times we get to get together

638
00:36:01.530 --> 00:36:02.909
to go down there, you know, it's not like we

639
00:36:02.929 --> 00:36:04.090
get to go every weekend.

640
00:36:04.159 --> 00:36:06.440
So we make the best of our time out there.

641
00:36:07.389 --> 00:36:09.760
And so to compare that, let me just say, when

642
00:36:09.800 --> 00:36:12.460
I was doing the paranormal, a full body apparition is

643
00:36:12.480 --> 00:36:14.780
what everybody wants to see. It took me nine years

644
00:36:15.539 --> 00:36:19.260
of investigating to actually finally record a full body apparition.

645
00:36:19.320 --> 00:36:22.139
So in the cryptid side of the research, I feel

646
00:36:22.199 --> 00:36:25.340
like we got lucky and got to experience what we

647
00:36:25.380 --> 00:36:32.210
want to experience fairly early in this investigation timeframe that

648
00:36:32.269 --> 00:36:35.130
I'm doing now. We haven't been doing it very long, so...

649
00:36:35.420 --> 00:36:37.000
I feel like a lot of people probably get a

650
00:36:37.019 --> 00:36:39.030
lot less and they spend a lot more time in

651
00:36:39.070 --> 00:36:42.750
the woods. So I feel very fortunate that we've gotten

652
00:36:42.869 --> 00:36:45.130
activity and evidence that we have already.

653
00:36:46.190 --> 00:36:51.230
I wonder, you know, like people always, if you put

654
00:36:51.289 --> 00:36:54.659
anything out on YouTube, I know you are aware of this, Jeremiah,

655
00:36:54.719 --> 00:36:58.019
you get the, the, a lot of the comments you

656
00:36:58.039 --> 00:37:03.429
get are the, the, the, greatest members of society letting

657
00:37:03.449 --> 00:37:08.239
you know what you're doing incorrectly. So we get these

658
00:37:08.380 --> 00:37:10.980
comments all the time. You're doing it wrong. You need

659
00:37:11.039 --> 00:37:13.440
to go to a spot, turn off all the lights

660
00:37:13.500 --> 00:37:16.239
and sit. You're doing it wrong. You need to walk

661
00:37:16.280 --> 00:37:19.019
through the woods and make some noise and bring out

662
00:37:19.059 --> 00:37:21.699
some interest with no lights. You're doing it wrong. You're

663
00:37:21.719 --> 00:37:25.840
supposed to walk through the woods, talk with lights on. Uh,

664
00:37:26.039 --> 00:37:28.079
no one's going to, nothing's going to happen. If you

665
00:37:28.119 --> 00:37:30.889
whoop or Trina, we do everything. We don't know what

666
00:37:30.929 --> 00:37:35.750
techniques work and what don't, what doesn't work. Uh, Jason

667
00:37:35.769 --> 00:37:39.110
has an Aztec death whistle. That sounds like a woman

668
00:37:39.289 --> 00:37:42.010
shrieking in the woods. I love that thing because you

669
00:37:42.070 --> 00:37:45.449
hear stories about those types of sounds, right? I mean,

670
00:37:46.530 --> 00:37:52.340
whatever we're doing is working because we're getting potential responses, uh,

671
00:37:54.369 --> 00:37:56.710
you know, not every time you're not going to get

672
00:37:56.769 --> 00:38:01.050
something every time, but we get potential responses trying different techniques.

673
00:38:01.469 --> 00:38:04.389
In my opinion, the best technique is to try to

674
00:38:04.409 --> 00:38:07.679
make them curious as to what the heck's going on.

675
00:38:08.300 --> 00:38:10.619
You're not going to out ninja them in the woods.

676
00:38:10.679 --> 00:38:14.280
I don't care how good you think you are. I mean,

677
00:38:14.719 --> 00:38:17.719
you're just not in my opinion. So I think the

678
00:38:17.760 --> 00:38:20.900
best thing to do is to draw attention to yourself

679
00:38:20.980 --> 00:38:23.440
in one way or another and bring them in that way.

680
00:38:24.250 --> 00:38:26.050
Oh, a hundred percent. I agree with that.

681
00:38:26.090 --> 00:38:28.590
And I think the Aztec death whistle is a really

682
00:38:28.610 --> 00:38:31.469
good example of that. I mean, I'm thinking of stuff

683
00:38:31.670 --> 00:38:33.639
over the years I've heard, I heard of a BFRO

684
00:38:33.659 --> 00:38:37.579
expedition on Washington state. There was a dude who was a, um,

685
00:38:38.300 --> 00:38:39.559
bagpipes player.

686
00:38:40.099 --> 00:38:40.539
Oh yeah.

687
00:38:40.619 --> 00:38:43.780
And it brought them in man, because like they'd never

688
00:38:43.840 --> 00:38:44.139
heard it.

689
00:38:44.300 --> 00:38:45.179
Right. Yeah.

690
00:38:45.300 --> 00:38:48.730
And sometimes hear people like, uh, well, there's the whole

691
00:38:48.769 --> 00:38:49.590
shofar thing.

692
00:38:49.610 --> 00:38:51.980
Um, That's effective.

693
00:38:52.179 --> 00:38:55.179
I've been in an expedition where that was used probably

694
00:38:55.199 --> 00:38:57.639
a little bit too effective, but got to be careful

695
00:38:57.659 --> 00:39:00.500
of that one. But yeah, I think you guys are

696
00:39:01.119 --> 00:39:04.510
right on, on the money there. So is garden of

697
00:39:04.530 --> 00:39:09.289
the gods, that area, a place where you're the plan

698
00:39:09.329 --> 00:39:13.489
to continue, keep going back to, or maybe start, what

699
00:39:13.570 --> 00:39:14.449
are your thoughts on that?

700
00:39:15.349 --> 00:39:19.449
Yeah. You know, we're definitely going back one more time

701
00:39:20.389 --> 00:39:24.059
in about two weeks, two weeks. I'm a little bit

702
00:39:24.639 --> 00:39:31.920
concerned of going too much. Like, um, I think I

703
00:39:31.960 --> 00:39:34.800
don't know if tricking is the right I think you

704
00:39:34.840 --> 00:39:40.340
can build up a curiosity initially but eventually they're going

705
00:39:40.360 --> 00:39:43.119
to get wise to that and say oh that's that

706
00:39:43.159 --> 00:39:46.400
dude whooping again or that's that dude and he's got

707
00:39:46.440 --> 00:39:51.219
a flashlight or something one thing that maybe in our

708
00:39:51.300 --> 00:39:56.250
favor and i'm this is pure speculation because who knows

709
00:39:56.349 --> 00:39:59.969
what if we're even experiencing anything valid out there but

710
00:40:00.230 --> 00:40:03.550
i the group that was after us a couple weeks

711
00:40:03.570 --> 00:40:07.170
ago also found what they think is a juvenile print

712
00:40:08.190 --> 00:40:12.739
so okay we think if i was to speculate there's

713
00:40:12.760 --> 00:40:16.619
a a female with the juvenile and there's a male

714
00:40:16.699 --> 00:40:20.030
out there. Cause Jason heard the trees getting pushed over

715
00:40:20.090 --> 00:40:24.449
from two different directions, you know, right after each other.

716
00:40:24.510 --> 00:40:27.369
So there's gotta be two big ones out there. If,

717
00:40:27.889 --> 00:40:30.559
if there's something really out there and the tree didn't

718
00:40:30.639 --> 00:40:34.679
just fall over on its own in no wind, things

719
00:40:34.719 --> 00:40:40.719
like that. But so maybe there's, you know, something to

720
00:40:40.760 --> 00:40:42.940
be said about a family out there. I don't think

721
00:40:43.000 --> 00:40:47.860
they stay in an area for like Illinois for very long.

722
00:40:47.900 --> 00:40:52.199
I think they're, I think they transition along waterways because

723
00:40:52.280 --> 00:40:58.559
there just isn't enough shelter. That's totally remote that people

724
00:40:58.579 --> 00:41:01.280
wouldn't find at some point. So I think they got

725
00:41:01.300 --> 00:41:04.670
to be moving around if they're down there. Right. So

726
00:41:04.690 --> 00:41:06.630
right now, I think there might be a male, a

727
00:41:06.690 --> 00:41:09.489
female and a juvenile in that area. And how long

728
00:41:09.530 --> 00:41:10.769
are they going to be there? I don't know.

729
00:41:11.530 --> 00:41:13.909
Well, the thing you got going for you is, I mean,

730
00:41:13.929 --> 00:41:15.989
it's not like it's right next door, but you are

731
00:41:16.030 --> 00:41:18.469
down that corner where there's like the Ohio River.

732
00:41:19.050 --> 00:41:20.050
Yeah. Yeah.

733
00:41:20.130 --> 00:41:21.989
Which is that's huge for this stuff.

734
00:41:22.349 --> 00:41:24.380
I mean, you go on the other side and if

735
00:41:24.389 --> 00:41:28.820
you look on sighting maps like Bigfoot Society podcast dot

736
00:41:28.840 --> 00:41:32.269
com has a really good one. you can see there's

737
00:41:32.329 --> 00:41:34.440
lots of stuff on the other side of that river

738
00:41:34.980 --> 00:41:36.880
across from Illinois. And then you keep going, you got

739
00:41:36.920 --> 00:41:38.760
Mammoth Cave and all that crazy stuff.

740
00:41:38.840 --> 00:41:41.860
And Missouri, you got Missouri right there, not too long,

741
00:41:42.139 --> 00:41:44.659
you know, far. I mean, if you look at a map,

742
00:41:44.860 --> 00:41:47.429
like an overhead map of the area, it's just one

743
00:41:47.510 --> 00:41:51.309
huge giant forest from state to state. It's men that

744
00:41:51.349 --> 00:41:56.130
are saying, here's the boundary. So therefore, you know, Bigfoot does...

745
00:41:57.250 --> 00:42:00.809
any animals doesn't care about a manmade boundary. If they

746
00:42:00.849 --> 00:42:04.690
can get across the river, which not to almost every

747
00:42:04.730 --> 00:42:06.929
year now in the Mississippi gets so low that you

748
00:42:06.989 --> 00:42:10.280
can walk across it, you know, in certain areas down

749
00:42:10.300 --> 00:42:16.179
in Southern Illinois. So yeah, I mean, I think there's

750
00:42:16.539 --> 00:42:19.619
a precedent for things traveling all over the river area

751
00:42:19.659 --> 00:42:20.099
down there.

752
00:42:20.500 --> 00:42:21.159
Yeah, absolutely.

753
00:42:21.239 --> 00:42:24.099
Are there any places that you guys are like, Oh,

754
00:42:25.170 --> 00:42:27.230
This place in Illinois, it's still on the list.

755
00:42:27.269 --> 00:42:29.590
We still haven't gotten there. We need to get there.

756
00:42:29.610 --> 00:42:38.400
I mean, Shawnee is like 300,000 acres. And so there's

757
00:42:38.500 --> 00:42:40.940
plenty of us for us to do that. We want

758
00:42:40.960 --> 00:42:44.369
to get back up into Peoria County at some point.

759
00:42:46.230 --> 00:42:49.570
I know there's another place on the Western border, more

760
00:42:50.190 --> 00:42:54.369
towards like Alton and uh, that area, there's, there's a

761
00:42:54.469 --> 00:42:57.210
lot of reports coming out of there. So there's plenty

762
00:42:57.269 --> 00:43:02.639
of rugged areas, believe it or not in Illinois to, uh, research.

763
00:43:03.199 --> 00:43:06.679
So I can't imagine we're going to people. That's another thing.

764
00:43:06.739 --> 00:43:09.000
People are like, uh, you're going to run into other

765
00:43:09.059 --> 00:43:13.659
researchers out there. Uh, and that's who you're whooping back to. Well,

766
00:43:14.360 --> 00:43:17.579
chances are that's not really happening either. I mean, it's

767
00:43:17.599 --> 00:43:22.820
just too vast of an area. I mean, um, I mean,

768
00:43:22.860 --> 00:43:25.380
like Jason was saying, we like to go to areas

769
00:43:25.440 --> 00:43:31.719
with waterways, food sources, remote locations. So there's plenty of those.

770
00:43:32.400 --> 00:43:41.789
There you go. Curved rivers or creeks, that's usually a

771
00:43:41.829 --> 00:43:47.670
big one. I don't believe we've been able to talk

772
00:43:47.750 --> 00:43:51.949
about It was a while since we talked last Joe.

773
00:43:52.090 --> 00:43:52.289
Yeah.

774
00:43:52.429 --> 00:43:53.949
I don't think we've even been able to have a

775
00:43:53.989 --> 00:43:56.369
conversation about Bryce's property.

776
00:43:56.429 --> 00:43:56.750
Have we?

777
00:43:57.429 --> 00:44:00.670
No, I think he was on by himself when he.

778
00:44:00.699 --> 00:44:02.659
Yeah, he was, he was guys.

779
00:44:02.969 --> 00:44:05.480
That's, that's such a wild thing. How, what was it

780
00:44:05.519 --> 00:44:09.380
like being able to experience some, some things down there?

781
00:44:09.420 --> 00:44:13.179
Are there any memories that, that stick out about that property?

782
00:44:14.460 --> 00:44:19.510
Jason? Yeah, there's quite a few. weird sounds and vocalizations

783
00:44:19.570 --> 00:44:25.010
we've experienced over multiple trips there. Um, a couple of things. Well,

784
00:44:25.070 --> 00:44:27.190
one of the things that I think it happened on

785
00:44:27.230 --> 00:44:30.920
the same night is we heard what I call a

786
00:44:30.969 --> 00:44:35.820
disembodied voice a couple of times. So I don't like

787
00:44:35.860 --> 00:44:39.119
that stuff at all. Like, um, we pulled up of course,

788
00:44:39.199 --> 00:44:44.130
no audio running and we distinctly hear like, we're in

789
00:44:44.369 --> 00:44:46.849
uh we're at we're at a farmhouse it's a farmhouse

790
00:44:46.949 --> 00:44:48.639
on the middle of the woods kind of type of

791
00:44:48.679 --> 00:44:51.900
thing and there's like some trees not too far from

792
00:44:51.940 --> 00:44:56.599
the driveway and we jason and i and bryce hear

793
00:44:56.679 --> 00:44:59.920
a distinct it sounded like someone saying who like like

794
00:44:59.980 --> 00:45:03.639
not an owl it sounded like someone saying who and

795
00:45:03.659 --> 00:45:06.139
we're like what the you know what was that and

796
00:45:06.599 --> 00:45:08.500
of course like i say we just i mean if

797
00:45:08.880 --> 00:45:11.679
we kind of investigate it. We don't see anything and

798
00:45:11.699 --> 00:45:13.780
we're just, we just move on to the next thing.

799
00:45:14.559 --> 00:45:18.119
And then not too long after that, as we're doing

800
00:45:18.159 --> 00:45:23.179
our thing, investigating in this field, we hear laughter coming

801
00:45:23.260 --> 00:45:28.679
out of another section, like maniacal laughter. And we're like,

802
00:45:29.420 --> 00:45:33.239
what is that? And then go over there with flashlights.

803
00:45:33.280 --> 00:45:37.730
Don't see anything thermal. Don't see anything. Okay. Let's move on.

804
00:45:37.789 --> 00:45:41.559
And then, And this is in our video called Pond

805
00:45:41.599 --> 00:45:45.500
Creek Monster and Other High Strangeness. But Jason, tell them

806
00:45:45.539 --> 00:45:46.699
what you captured, Jason.

807
00:45:47.980 --> 00:45:50.960
So I'm looking at the sky because, you know, I'm

808
00:45:51.000 --> 00:45:55.199
interested in UFOs and moving lights. And so I was

809
00:45:55.360 --> 00:45:59.059
using the night vision goggles and I just started looking

810
00:45:59.320 --> 00:46:02.860
at three stars in the sky. And at first I

811
00:46:02.900 --> 00:46:05.090
thought it was jets. I thought they were like doing

812
00:46:05.110 --> 00:46:09.730
dogfight maneuvers. the way they were interacting, crisscrossing what I

813
00:46:09.789 --> 00:46:13.150
thought they were crisscrossing. And then they would blink out

814
00:46:13.530 --> 00:46:15.190
and then they would come back. And I thought, well,

815
00:46:15.210 --> 00:46:17.909
that's not Starlink. Those aren't satellites because they just kept

816
00:46:18.179 --> 00:46:23.659
interacting with each other. And I'm just infatuated with staring

817
00:46:23.699 --> 00:46:26.800
at that. And then I'm just like, well, okay. And

818
00:46:26.840 --> 00:46:30.210
I just quit recording it and then comes back later.

819
00:46:30.820 --> 00:46:33.639
And Joe, actually, when he put the video together where

820
00:46:33.659 --> 00:46:36.750
I could see it on a TV, like a big screen,

821
00:46:37.429 --> 00:46:41.409
I'm like, he points out that it's a triangle shape.

822
00:46:41.829 --> 00:46:45.550
And on a big TV, the black area in the

823
00:46:45.630 --> 00:46:49.429
triangle is darker than the sky around it. And then

824
00:46:49.469 --> 00:46:53.409
you see it looks like this big triangle shape rotating.

825
00:46:54.030 --> 00:46:56.849
So the lights aren't disappearing. It's the light going around

826
00:46:56.909 --> 00:46:58.869
the backside of whatever that is in the air.

827
00:46:59.969 --> 00:47:03.230
And so... it looks like there's a light on each

828
00:47:03.369 --> 00:47:06.099
corner of a pyramid that's on its side. If that

829
00:47:06.139 --> 00:47:09.420
makes sense. Like it's longer, taller than the base is.

830
00:47:09.460 --> 00:47:13.079
So there's four lights and it's rotating. And when I

831
00:47:13.139 --> 00:47:17.360
saw that, like my jaw dropped, I'm like, this is impossible.

832
00:47:18.119 --> 00:47:20.800
And I'm asking these guys, is there like some type

833
00:47:20.860 --> 00:47:25.250
of weird farm equipment or oil tower or cell tower

834
00:47:25.329 --> 00:47:32.170
out there? And we've been out there since there's no tower. And, um, Yeah.

835
00:47:32.389 --> 00:47:35.309
It really freaked me out when I was editing that.

836
00:47:35.349 --> 00:47:37.869
And I saw that on T on like a big screen.

837
00:47:37.889 --> 00:47:42.309
I'm like, this is on a structure. This is a structure.

838
00:47:42.329 --> 00:47:46.519
This isn't just random orbs floating around in the sky that,

839
00:47:46.840 --> 00:47:51.360
you know, we're, you know, like this, there is a

840
00:47:51.480 --> 00:47:55.619
structure here. And, and so what, what do you do

841
00:47:55.639 --> 00:47:59.159
with that? I mean, it's like, we're out there investigating

842
00:47:59.219 --> 00:48:03.019
Bigfoot and, uh stories and we see ufos so and

843
00:48:03.099 --> 00:48:06.239
other people like well i didn't i didn't watch this

844
00:48:06.280 --> 00:48:09.260
video for ufos well we didn't we weren't.

845
00:48:09.159 --> 00:48:11.159
Out there for you we weren't there to film them.

846
00:48:11.559 --> 00:48:13.280
You know but we're going to film it if we

847
00:48:13.320 --> 00:48:16.820
see it yeah and we found track we found potential

848
00:48:16.909 --> 00:48:23.449
trackway out there um uh heard heard other crazy like

849
00:48:23.610 --> 00:48:29.019
uh percussive sounds weird vocalizations you know not every vocalization

850
00:48:29.059 --> 00:48:31.619
that's weird is a big foot but it's just worth

851
00:48:31.739 --> 00:48:34.960
noting that we we do hear weird stuff out there.

852
00:48:35.739 --> 00:48:38.260
Yeah and and good on you guys for uh.

853
00:48:40.400 --> 00:48:46.010
Not cutting out what you observe um right because that's

854
00:48:46.050 --> 00:48:49.610
kind of like well talk about uh framing the narrative

855
00:48:49.690 --> 00:48:53.949
to what you believe holy right yeah so thankfully you

856
00:48:53.969 --> 00:48:55.829
guys aren't doing that like some others.

857
00:48:57.710 --> 00:48:58.429
My goodness.

858
00:48:58.969 --> 00:49:05.260
So would you say then from what you experienced firsthand

859
00:49:06.139 --> 00:49:11.300
that a property is completely legitimate then?

860
00:49:11.320 --> 00:49:13.570
I mean, stuff is going on there.

861
00:49:13.590 --> 00:49:19.380
I think so like I mean We didn't we didn't

862
00:49:19.559 --> 00:49:22.960
again Didn't have any visuals of A creature out there

863
00:49:23.519 --> 00:49:27.800
but There's enough weird Stuff going on there that makes

864
00:49:27.860 --> 00:49:30.400
Me think at least something's happening I don't know what

865
00:49:30.440 --> 00:49:34.159
it is like there's Speculation it's a window area You

866
00:49:34.199 --> 00:49:38.570
know it's It's a that area in southern Illinois is

867
00:49:38.630 --> 00:49:42.610
known for a lot of UFO activity. And it always,

868
00:49:42.840 --> 00:49:45.599
it has been for at least 50 years that I'm

869
00:49:45.659 --> 00:49:51.460
aware of or more. And I mean, I've seen when

870
00:49:51.480 --> 00:49:54.260
we were out there before, I've seen a possible orb.

871
00:49:54.639 --> 00:49:59.730
I don't, you know, again, hear percussive sounds out there.

872
00:49:59.750 --> 00:50:06.769
You know, what's up with the disembodied laughter and voices? Like,

873
00:50:06.869 --> 00:50:10.909
what do you, like, what is going on? Like, is

874
00:50:10.989 --> 00:50:13.670
it just that area or is it just Southern Illinois

875
00:50:13.730 --> 00:50:17.869
in general? I don't know, but you know, we're afforded

876
00:50:17.909 --> 00:50:20.469
the opportunity to go do private property. We're going to

877
00:50:20.510 --> 00:50:21.969
investigate it, you know?

878
00:50:22.469 --> 00:50:23.429
A hundred percent. Yeah.

879
00:50:23.469 --> 00:50:27.340
That's, that's a huge privilege to be able to, to

880
00:50:27.440 --> 00:50:31.579
partner with, with Bryce in that and get that access.

881
00:50:31.699 --> 00:50:35.800
It's very close, fun to talk to him for sure.

882
00:50:36.380 --> 00:50:40.809
There's a, So we'll talk about a hypothetical situation. I'm

883
00:50:40.869 --> 00:50:45.090
curious if you've ever thought about this to prepare for

884
00:50:45.840 --> 00:50:47.820
probably the one day when it will happen if you

885
00:50:47.840 --> 00:50:53.039
keep doing this. Have you ever thought of what will

886
00:50:53.079 --> 00:50:59.650
we do if we are out there investigating, filming, and

887
00:50:59.690 --> 00:51:00.429
we have a visual?

888
00:51:02.309 --> 00:51:02.469
Yeah.

889
00:51:04.340 --> 00:51:07.099
Is there something in place or is it just like, whoa,

890
00:51:07.179 --> 00:51:08.239
crazy town?

891
00:51:09.800 --> 00:51:10.739
How can you prepare?

892
00:51:10.760 --> 00:51:13.340
I don't really think you can.

893
00:51:13.539 --> 00:51:17.400
I mean, you want to think... We don't prepare when

894
00:51:17.440 --> 00:51:22.199
we're doing what we're doing now. So when you come

895
00:51:22.239 --> 00:51:26.280
across something like a crazy vocalization, you do the best

896
00:51:26.320 --> 00:51:28.929
you can. But you know what happened was a couple

897
00:51:29.010 --> 00:51:32.829
of us out there talked over one of the vocals.

898
00:51:33.869 --> 00:51:37.230
You get too hyper. When we had our first vocalization

899
00:51:37.269 --> 00:51:41.739
that we couldn't explain, what did we do? We said...

900
00:51:42.800 --> 00:51:44.800
are you hearing that kind of talking over it a

901
00:51:44.860 --> 00:51:47.579
little bit? And then, and then we didn't hear it

902
00:51:47.639 --> 00:51:50.260
again for 10 minutes. So we left, we went to

903
00:51:50.280 --> 00:51:54.019
a different part to investigate. So like, it's hard to,

904
00:51:55.880 --> 00:51:57.889
I almost want to say like, I mean, we've been

905
00:51:57.909 --> 00:51:59.849
doing it for a couple of years. We've heard stuff,

906
00:51:59.889 --> 00:52:03.230
but like every time we've had something happen, it still

907
00:52:03.269 --> 00:52:06.929
blows our mind. Like to at least me, like, I mean,

908
00:52:07.409 --> 00:52:11.340
I'm just like, so it's hard to think straight sometimes.

909
00:52:11.519 --> 00:52:13.820
So what, what's going to happen if we get a visual?

910
00:52:14.099 --> 00:52:16.880
I mean, hopefully one of us is smart enough to

911
00:52:16.920 --> 00:52:21.559
push a button on the camera and record it. Right.

912
00:52:21.780 --> 00:52:22.079
Yeah.

913
00:52:22.099 --> 00:52:25.670
A hundred percent. I, I think it's the same man.

914
00:52:25.909 --> 00:52:26.690
It's like you go.

915
00:52:26.630 --> 00:52:31.510
Out there and you have these adventures or investigations. And

916
00:52:32.210 --> 00:52:34.389
I learned so much from, you know, Jesse and Joe, uh,

917
00:52:34.389 --> 00:52:39.130
I got to hang out with them at, uh, the

918
00:52:39.170 --> 00:52:42.730
Tennessee cryptic camp out in the thing. I, one of

919
00:52:42.750 --> 00:52:46.289
the things I learned the most from them is man,

920
00:52:46.329 --> 00:52:49.389
when you're recording and someone, something happens, you just got

921
00:52:49.449 --> 00:52:52.480
to shut your mouth, just shut up.

922
00:52:53.300 --> 00:52:55.900
And it's like a hundred percent accurate.

923
00:52:55.940 --> 00:52:58.340
Like I find every time I go out, it's like, okay,

924
00:52:58.820 --> 00:53:00.739
get in the right mindset because.

925
00:53:01.099 --> 00:53:01.780
I was told this.

926
00:53:01.900 --> 00:53:05.679
And then days later at, in the upper Cumberland plateau

927
00:53:05.800 --> 00:53:10.590
area with, with Craig, I totally didn't do it. And

928
00:53:10.650 --> 00:53:12.829
I was like talking over everybody's like, come on.

929
00:53:12.889 --> 00:53:13.849
Dude, what are you doing?

930
00:53:14.170 --> 00:53:16.449
But you get so like jazzed up, you know? So

931
00:53:16.469 --> 00:53:17.840
you have to constantly remind yourself.

932
00:53:17.920 --> 00:53:19.239
It's crazy.

933
00:53:20.000 --> 00:53:24.300
Yeah. I mean, I'm going to start bringing a card

934
00:53:24.820 --> 00:53:27.300
like with a list of things to do and what

935
00:53:27.340 --> 00:53:30.219
not to do. I mean, you gotta, you gotta prepare

936
00:53:30.260 --> 00:53:33.000
as best as you can, I suppose. But I just,

937
00:53:33.820 --> 00:53:36.360
you know, so let me, let me put it to

938
00:53:36.380 --> 00:53:39.250
you this way though. Well, would you go out in

939
00:53:39.269 --> 00:53:41.590
the woods and try to have an encounter with the bear,

940
00:53:42.170 --> 00:53:44.320
like purposely have an encounter with the bear?

941
00:53:44.699 --> 00:53:46.320
Yeah, that's probably not.

942
00:53:46.519 --> 00:53:48.900
Then why are we going out trying to have an

943
00:53:48.960 --> 00:53:52.239
encounter with Bigfoot? Like, do you think it's a friendly for,

944
00:53:52.400 --> 00:53:54.679
I don't think it's a friendly forest creature. I think

945
00:53:54.739 --> 00:53:57.610
it's in my belief and I could be totally wrong,

946
00:53:57.949 --> 00:54:01.650
but my beliefs are just as accurate as everybody else

947
00:54:01.690 --> 00:54:04.750
at this point. I think it's an animal and an

948
00:54:04.829 --> 00:54:07.289
animal is going to do what it does to protect itself.

949
00:54:07.949 --> 00:54:10.610
or it or its offspring or something like that so

950
00:54:10.630 --> 00:54:12.070
why are we going out there trying to have a

951
00:54:13.070 --> 00:54:14.230
confrontation with one.

952
00:54:14.610 --> 00:54:17.429
I think that and and this is this is a

953
00:54:17.429 --> 00:54:22.179
good conversation because we can be adults and not a

954
00:54:22.199 --> 00:54:25.619
hundred percent agree on stuff and still talk um so

955
00:54:25.679 --> 00:54:28.980
i'd say yeah it's physical thing physical creature because uh

956
00:54:30.219 --> 00:54:34.889
their footprints we've both found footprints right yeah There are

957
00:54:34.989 --> 00:54:38.219
things that happen in these areas that I've experienced.

958
00:54:39.159 --> 00:54:40.460
I just talked about this the other.

959
00:54:40.340 --> 00:54:44.039
Day, where it is not a normal thing that an

960
00:54:44.320 --> 00:54:48.239
animal will do, and it's hard to explain away. Why

961
00:54:48.280 --> 00:54:50.500
are the orbs showing up in the same areas? Why,

962
00:54:50.659 --> 00:54:53.320
if you talk out loud to the woods, say, hey,

963
00:54:53.360 --> 00:54:55.650
can you make a noise? And there's a noise immediately.

964
00:54:55.710 --> 00:54:58.170
That's happened to me. And so there's all these questions.

965
00:54:58.619 --> 00:55:00.260
The further you get in, it's like, I don't know

966
00:55:00.320 --> 00:55:01.039
how to explain this.

967
00:55:01.079 --> 00:55:06.059
Right. But why is there so much activity around cemeteries

968
00:55:06.139 --> 00:55:06.820
in the forest?

969
00:55:06.840 --> 00:55:07.159
Yeah.

970
00:55:07.659 --> 00:55:13.400
Yeah. Because Jubilee, we were in Jubilee and Peoria. There's

971
00:55:13.460 --> 00:55:16.210
a cemetery there. There's a cemetery in Garden of the

972
00:55:16.250 --> 00:55:20.309
Gods we're investigating next to. There's an area where closer

973
00:55:20.349 --> 00:55:23.989
to my home that I do been out to multiple times.

974
00:55:24.170 --> 00:55:27.710
There's a hidden cemetery in the woods there. So and

975
00:55:28.050 --> 00:55:30.690
and there's an eyewitness that told me, you know, he's

976
00:55:30.730 --> 00:55:33.969
had activity in that cemetery area. So what's going on

977
00:55:33.989 --> 00:55:34.349
with that?

978
00:55:35.550 --> 00:55:40.030
Yeah, it's wild because I'm thinking real quick. I've talked

979
00:55:40.050 --> 00:55:44.170
to so many witnesses where, man, it's just wild. This

980
00:55:44.389 --> 00:55:49.210
one guy in Indiana where it was in an area

981
00:55:49.250 --> 00:55:52.670
like that. And then he had a sighting of one

982
00:55:52.849 --> 00:55:55.989
and it like backed it went backwards into a tree.

983
00:55:56.849 --> 00:55:59.219
dissolved into the tree and then like half a minute

984
00:55:59.260 --> 00:56:01.739
later i think it came back out which it's one

985
00:56:01.760 --> 00:56:02.880
of the weirdest things ever.

986
00:56:02.739 --> 00:56:05.960
I just watched that one the other just yesterday or

987
00:56:05.980 --> 00:56:08.219
the day before yep i know exactly what you're talking.

988
00:56:08.099 --> 00:56:11.670
About it's very very strange have you guys experienced any

989
00:56:11.929 --> 00:56:15.170
uh any orb activity when you've been going out in

990
00:56:15.210 --> 00:56:16.150
these areas yeah.

991
00:56:16.429 --> 00:56:20.139
I've been wanting to so badly i really have because

992
00:56:20.860 --> 00:56:25.349
you know i don't think so So again, I may

993
00:56:25.409 --> 00:56:28.429
have saw one out and Bryce's property, but it's kind

994
00:56:28.469 --> 00:56:33.489
of hard to like really say, okay, I definitely saw

995
00:56:33.510 --> 00:56:36.699
the orb. I saw something which for a brief moment

996
00:56:36.719 --> 00:56:41.099
that I thought maybe was an orb, but like these

997
00:56:41.179 --> 00:56:43.380
guys that were investigating garden of the gods a couple

998
00:56:43.400 --> 00:56:46.780
of weeks ago, witnessed an orb on the trail, like

999
00:56:46.940 --> 00:56:50.199
on that road as they were coming out. Like, so yeah,

1000
00:56:50.789 --> 00:56:54.230
that's one of the things as like getting into UFOs

1001
00:56:54.309 --> 00:56:58.059
and documentary, that type of stuff. I, I, there's tons

1002
00:56:58.119 --> 00:57:00.960
of stories about orbs down there in Southern Illinois. So

1003
00:57:01.639 --> 00:57:03.579
I want to experience that as well. How am I

1004
00:57:03.619 --> 00:57:06.239
going to react to that? Oh, you know, it's another story,

1005
00:57:06.280 --> 00:57:09.920
but yeah, it's, it's.

1006
00:57:09.860 --> 00:57:11.760
Weird as I'll get out. I mean, cause it comes

1007
00:57:11.820 --> 00:57:13.409
up on the show a lot. And like, I just

1008
00:57:13.429 --> 00:57:17.010
talked to a lady, her name is Patty Volvo. She

1009
00:57:17.030 --> 00:57:18.929
was staying in a place out in Oak Ridge, Oregon last,

1010
00:57:19.989 --> 00:57:24.389
actually this summer and uh she gets she gets chased

1011
00:57:25.309 --> 00:57:28.289
by a orb on a road on the property you.

1012
00:57:28.730 --> 00:57:34.130
Know uh speaking of uh um oh my gosh helvin

1013
00:57:34.150 --> 00:57:40.989
holler yeah so they jason actually come up with uh

1014
00:57:41.340 --> 00:57:44.960
so they wear like these lightning detectors that oh yeah

1015
00:57:45.019 --> 00:57:48.750
it's really cool right yeah yeah And the thought behind

1016
00:57:48.789 --> 00:57:53.489
that is maybe it's sensing energies in areas where there's

1017
00:57:53.530 --> 00:57:56.309
no lightning, right? Like if it's going off and there's

1018
00:57:56.349 --> 00:58:00.030
no lightning and not a cloud in the sky, nothing

1019
00:58:00.449 --> 00:58:04.949
charging the air, then maybe it's capturing something. So we

1020
00:58:04.969 --> 00:58:08.340
started using that, you know, talking about, I don't believe

1021
00:58:08.460 --> 00:58:11.920
in paranormal Bigfoot, but I wear one of those. Jason

1022
00:58:12.300 --> 00:58:15.550
has worn one. warning on our investigations one night he

1023
00:58:15.570 --> 00:58:19.849
had like 27 lightning strikes go off with you know

1024
00:58:20.030 --> 00:58:23.309
while we were investigating this one that was on snake

1025
00:58:23.389 --> 00:58:27.710
road and uh last last year in the fall.

1026
00:58:27.889 --> 00:58:29.789
Um well it went off when we were over there

1027
00:58:29.829 --> 00:58:32.360
on the mississippi there along the fault line oh yeah

1028
00:58:32.409 --> 00:58:35.099
really going i shut it off because it just kept

1029
00:58:35.119 --> 00:58:38.320
going off and there was i think the closest storm

1030
00:58:38.340 --> 00:58:40.880
to us was what in north dakota maybe that night

1031
00:58:40.940 --> 00:58:43.349
or something like a small sail way up there The

1032
00:58:43.449 --> 00:58:45.730
only storm, I just shut it off because it just

1033
00:58:45.769 --> 00:58:46.369
kept going off.

1034
00:58:46.409 --> 00:58:48.070
We couldn't record audio or anything.

1035
00:58:49.650 --> 00:58:53.119
One weird thing I'd like to mention, on that particular investigation,

1036
00:58:53.159 --> 00:58:55.300
we kind of got a little bit of, we got

1037
00:58:55.340 --> 00:58:59.599
kind of skunked on that night. Like nothing out of

1038
00:58:59.619 --> 00:59:01.639
the ordinary. But one thing that was weird on that

1039
00:59:01.699 --> 00:59:05.269
trip was when we got there, there was no animal

1040
00:59:05.329 --> 00:59:09.949
wildlife in the campground. Like none. Like no birds, no deer.

1041
00:59:10.059 --> 00:59:13.579
no squirrels. I mean, why? You can't even see a

1042
00:59:13.639 --> 00:59:17.380
squirrel or hear a blackbird or something. So there was nothing.

1043
00:59:17.519 --> 00:59:22.539
And then a week later, there was a news report

1044
00:59:22.599 --> 00:59:26.099
that that during the time we were there there was

1045
00:59:26.260 --> 00:59:29.199
a series of earthquakes in the area because the new

1046
00:59:29.219 --> 00:59:30.739
madrid fault line goes through.

1047
00:59:30.599 --> 00:59:32.039
There yeah yeah yeah yeah.

1048
00:59:31.980 --> 00:59:35.739
So going back to a couple weeks ago on that

1049
00:59:35.800 --> 00:59:39.159
friday night where jason and i it's kind of the

1050
00:59:39.219 --> 00:59:42.130
same thing like it was dead out there well there

1051
00:59:42.170 --> 00:59:44.849
was an earthquake in the area a couple like that

1052
00:59:44.909 --> 00:59:49.050
night like it was reported like you're talking earthquake you're

1053
00:59:49.070 --> 00:59:51.489
talking just like small tremors or whatever.

1054
00:59:51.190 --> 00:59:55.889
But right um The other people that use that device,

1055
00:59:56.119 --> 00:59:58.510
because I've been watching this a lot to get through chemo.

1056
00:59:59.150 --> 00:59:59.989
So I've been just.

1057
00:59:59.889 --> 01:00:02.090
Like, it's one of those things where like, if you're

1058
01:00:02.110 --> 01:00:06.190
in some pain, you'd like switch off. This'll be great.

1059
01:00:06.269 --> 01:00:11.329
Skinwalker show works. They also do that where they, they

1060
01:00:11.349 --> 01:00:14.329
will have the lightning detector on them in the early seasons.

1061
01:00:14.809 --> 01:00:17.070
They were doing that to see if there were like energy.

1062
01:00:17.090 --> 01:00:17.889
Okay.

1063
01:00:18.190 --> 01:00:18.929
You know, things.

1064
01:00:19.030 --> 01:00:21.269
So that's kind of cool. So how are you checking

1065
01:00:21.349 --> 01:00:25.969
to see if, what the closest lightning strike is after

1066
01:00:25.989 --> 01:00:27.110
it shows up.

1067
01:00:27.889 --> 01:00:30.449
I actually get on a web. I have several weather

1068
01:00:30.550 --> 01:00:33.030
apps downloaded on my phone and I'll, I'll get on

1069
01:00:33.070 --> 01:00:36.079
the radar and start looking for storms and see where

1070
01:00:36.099 --> 01:00:39.159
there's any fronts or anything like that in the area.

1071
01:00:39.179 --> 01:00:40.340
Uh, okay.

1072
01:00:40.360 --> 01:00:40.800
It's brilliant.

1073
01:00:40.900 --> 01:00:41.659
Kind of get an idea.

1074
01:00:42.300 --> 01:00:42.500
Okay.

1075
01:00:42.519 --> 01:00:45.380
Very, very, very cool guys. It has been, it has

1076
01:00:45.420 --> 01:00:48.010
been a really fun conversation with both of you.

1077
01:00:48.039 --> 01:00:49.880
It's been great meeting you, Jason.

1078
01:00:49.900 --> 01:00:52.969
Hopefully our paths will cross someday out there. Are you

1079
01:00:52.989 --> 01:00:56.090
guys going to conferences and festivals and doing stuff too?

1080
01:00:57.989 --> 01:01:01.650
I mean, it's at the moment, it's not really our thing.

1081
01:01:01.710 --> 01:01:04.789
Like we just, we're not trying to be famous. I'm

1082
01:01:04.809 --> 01:01:08.730
trying to build my YouTube channel, our YouTube channel, Red

1083
01:01:08.769 --> 01:01:14.219
Room Films, Legends and Monsters. But I mean, conferencing is

1084
01:01:14.280 --> 01:01:18.539
almost like we're not selling stuff. I mean, I have DVDs.

1085
01:01:18.599 --> 01:01:21.280
I don't I don't have a bunch of merchandise in stock.

1086
01:01:21.360 --> 01:01:24.920
I'm not like trying to I don't have a problem

1087
01:01:24.960 --> 01:01:28.389
with people doing that. But that's at the moment. That's

1088
01:01:28.489 --> 01:01:31.550
really not our thing. Like I just it's a lot

1089
01:01:31.590 --> 01:01:35.210
of work. Like there's you need a team of people.

1090
01:01:36.019 --> 01:01:38.380
to do it correctly in my, in my mind, or

1091
01:01:38.440 --> 01:01:41.280
you're doing it full time. Jason and I both have

1092
01:01:41.340 --> 01:01:45.699
full-time jobs and you know, we do the best we

1093
01:01:45.750 --> 01:01:51.590
can with video videography and, you know, whatever else we're

1094
01:01:51.690 --> 01:01:56.329
doing our posts, but conferences and we've been asked, actually,

1095
01:01:56.349 --> 01:01:58.570
I have just got asked the other day, me and

1096
01:01:58.610 --> 01:02:00.639
Jason to go to something. I haven't talked to you

1097
01:02:00.659 --> 01:02:05.980
about it, Jason, but yeah, it's just like, The main

1098
01:02:06.019 --> 01:02:08.780
thing I've always done is Big Money Monster Festival because

1099
01:02:08.800 --> 01:02:12.960
they play our movie there. But I like going to

1100
01:02:13.039 --> 01:02:17.619
conferences and seeing people like yourself and whoever else. I'm

1101
01:02:17.639 --> 01:02:21.849
a fan of other people just like everybody else is.

1102
01:02:21.889 --> 01:02:23.769
You know what I mean? I'm a fan of the subject.

1103
01:02:23.849 --> 01:02:25.389
Right. Absolutely.

1104
01:02:26.170 --> 01:02:31.510
If I have a booth at Van Meter or Oak Ridge,

1105
01:02:31.989 --> 01:02:35.309
I'm doing it because... I want to be able to

1106
01:02:35.369 --> 01:02:37.829
talk to the people. And sometimes if you just go

1107
01:02:37.869 --> 01:02:40.610
to these things and you're just there walking around, people

1108
01:02:40.769 --> 01:02:43.809
don't even know you're there. So you need like a

1109
01:02:44.030 --> 01:02:48.730
central base. But I have wild stuff.

1110
01:02:48.750 --> 01:02:54.800
Are there any things that we can look for coming

1111
01:02:54.920 --> 01:02:57.119
out soon on the YouTube channel?

1112
01:02:58.079 --> 01:03:01.380
I encourage people to see our series. It's called Wood Devils.

1113
01:03:02.389 --> 01:03:08.289
And there's four episodes. We're filming the fifth one this October.

1114
01:03:08.349 --> 01:03:13.289
That'll be season one. Each one has a little bit

1115
01:03:13.329 --> 01:03:16.570
of something in it. I think people would really like

1116
01:03:16.739 --> 01:03:21.000
number three. It's called Garden of the Gods. That's which,

1117
01:03:21.179 --> 01:03:23.699
you know, we talked about. But there's something on every one.

1118
01:03:23.719 --> 01:03:30.949
I try to film it like it's not quite. streaming

1119
01:03:31.010 --> 01:03:34.809
service quality, but it's better than your typical YouTube quality.

1120
01:03:34.869 --> 01:03:37.949
Like I try to put good quality in it, good audio,

1121
01:03:38.110 --> 01:03:40.880
at least, you know, and I want people to be

1122
01:03:41.090 --> 01:03:43.139
immersed in the environment. So I do a lot of

1123
01:03:43.219 --> 01:03:46.659
environmental B-roll type of thing, give people an idea of

1124
01:03:46.679 --> 01:03:49.360
what it's like down there. So that's a really good series.

1125
01:03:49.380 --> 01:03:52.309
I encourage people to to at least give it a

1126
01:03:52.369 --> 01:03:54.590
try to see if you like it. If you only

1127
01:03:54.610 --> 01:03:59.030
want to watch one episode, watch number three. But we're

1128
01:03:59.050 --> 01:04:04.409
filming the season one finale this October. Yeah. So check

1129
01:04:04.449 --> 01:04:06.980
that one out. And that's on Red Room Films, Legends

1130
01:04:07.059 --> 01:04:10.219
and Monsters on YouTube. That's the name of the channel.

1131
01:04:11.500 --> 01:04:12.239
That's awesome.

1132
01:04:12.380 --> 01:04:15.260
And again, all the links for that guys will be

1133
01:04:15.320 --> 01:04:18.400
in the show notes. And I always try to put

1134
01:04:18.440 --> 01:04:20.389
stuff in there so you guys can do more. more

1135
01:04:20.429 --> 01:04:25.530
research if you want after listening or watching the show on, uh, YouTube,

1136
01:04:25.739 --> 01:04:29.159
is there, are there any other links or, or things

1137
01:04:29.239 --> 01:04:32.800
that you would want, uh, listeners to be aware of before,

1138
01:04:33.579 --> 01:04:35.659
before we end our time chatting today?

1139
01:04:35.699 --> 01:04:36.679
Yeah.

1140
01:04:36.699 --> 01:04:37.639
Yeah.

1141
01:04:37.679 --> 01:04:40.800
We got a, we got a website. It's, uh, so it's,

1142
01:04:41.659 --> 01:04:44.690
let me see if I get this right. Uh, our, our, uh,

1143
01:04:45.500 --> 01:04:51.150
CM Films, which stands for Red Room Creative Media Films. rrcmfilms.com

1144
01:04:51.590 --> 01:04:54.989
is our website where you can check out. We're still

1145
01:04:55.030 --> 01:04:58.239
fleshing it out. There's going to be like additional Bigfoot reports.

1146
01:04:58.320 --> 01:05:02.260
But the newest thing we got, we have a publication

1147
01:05:02.280 --> 01:05:05.139
we're trying to do once a month. It's free. There's

1148
01:05:05.159 --> 01:05:06.840
a link to it on there. It's called the Red

1149
01:05:06.880 --> 01:05:11.019
Room Files, where we have more behind the scenes stuff. overviews,

1150
01:05:11.099 --> 01:05:15.570
like our thoughts on an investigation and like some behind

1151
01:05:15.590 --> 01:05:20.530
the scenes photos, like this first issue has a couple

1152
01:05:20.550 --> 01:05:23.940
of equipment pieces, you know, I like to share equipment

1153
01:05:24.360 --> 01:05:27.960
and what we use it for and our thoughts on it. Yeah.

1154
01:05:28.210 --> 01:05:29.760
you can't really put, I don't want to put that

1155
01:05:29.820 --> 01:05:32.360
in the documentary stuff because it kind of takes away

1156
01:05:32.400 --> 01:05:34.960
from it. So it's kind of like extra. So you

1157
01:05:34.980 --> 01:05:37.460
just sign up for it. I'm not going to spam you.

1158
01:05:37.500 --> 01:05:40.199
I swear. I don't have time to do one issue

1159
01:05:40.239 --> 01:05:43.329
a month, much less try to spam you. So it's

1160
01:05:43.389 --> 01:05:46.869
free sign up for it. And that's on our website.

1161
01:05:47.730 --> 01:05:49.530
Awesome. And Jason, anything from yourself?

1162
01:05:51.280 --> 01:05:54.699
Uh, no, just back to talking about the conferences and stuff.

1163
01:05:54.760 --> 01:05:56.750
If I've got a weekend off, I'd rather be in

1164
01:05:56.789 --> 01:06:00.909
the woods than at a conference. I'd rather be investigating

1165
01:06:00.969 --> 01:06:02.969
than I only have the way my job works. I

1166
01:06:03.030 --> 01:06:05.969
only have two weekends off a month. So I, I'm

1167
01:06:06.010 --> 01:06:07.409
going to spend that in the woods if I can.

1168
01:06:08.650 --> 01:06:09.489
I love to hear.

1169
01:06:09.550 --> 01:06:09.690
Yeah.

1170
01:06:09.710 --> 01:06:12.730
Cause there's, man, there's a lot of different events coming out, uh,

1171
01:06:12.869 --> 01:06:14.090
down there in Southern Illinois.

1172
01:06:14.139 --> 01:06:15.320
I've noticed there's.

1173
01:06:16.119 --> 01:06:19.380
Harrisburg just had a really big one. That's a premier.

1174
01:06:19.960 --> 01:06:24.940
I mean, it's every year. So in October, so if

1175
01:06:25.039 --> 01:06:26.920
anybody wants to check that, I'll be sure to check

1176
01:06:26.960 --> 01:06:30.860
out the Harrisburg Shawnee festival. Um, they, they usually have

1177
01:06:30.880 --> 01:06:35.130
some pretty decent, um, speakers and, and there's one in, uh,

1178
01:06:35.210 --> 01:06:39.610
mountain Vernon as well. Like, uh, pretty sure Ken Gerhard.

1179
01:06:40.329 --> 01:06:40.530
Oh yeah.

1180
01:06:40.969 --> 01:06:43.750
And, uh, Lyle Blackburn spoke at that one last year,

1181
01:06:43.809 --> 01:06:48.090
I believe. Um, so Chad Lewis was supposed to speak

1182
01:06:48.190 --> 01:06:51.510
in Harrisburg this year. He had, uh, cancel out of

1183
01:06:51.550 --> 01:06:54.219
that one but i'm sure he'll be back so there's

1184
01:06:54.409 --> 01:06:56.400
some good stuff going down there yeah.

1185
01:06:56.679 --> 01:06:58.739
Good stuff well guys thank you so much for hanging

1186
01:06:58.800 --> 01:07:02.599
out today and we'll definitely be keeping up to date

1187
01:07:02.980 --> 01:07:05.940
uh with your channel and uh seeing where you guys

1188
01:07:06.000 --> 01:07:08.980
get to next but uh we'll have to we'll have

1189
01:07:09.000 --> 01:07:11.500
to maybe have a chat in in the future and

1190
01:07:11.519 --> 01:07:13.099
then see what you guys are up to then but

1191
01:07:13.159 --> 01:07:13.940
thanks for hanging out.

1192
01:07:13.860 --> 01:07:19.090
Guys right on peace out yep thank you And if you've.

1193
01:07:18.909 --> 01:07:21.389
Had a Bigfoot encounter of your own, I would love

1194
01:07:21.409 --> 01:07:23.449
to hear from you. You can send me an email

1195
01:07:23.610 --> 01:07:28.420
with your encounter at bigfootsociety at gmail.com. I've come out

1196
01:07:28.440 --> 01:07:32.940
with a free report about the top 10 Bigfoot hotspots.

1197
01:07:33.400 --> 01:07:38.920
You can go over to bit.ly forward slash BFS report.

1198
01:07:39.179 --> 01:07:42.170
I'm Jeremiah Byron. Thanks for listening to Bigfoot Society, and

1199
01:07:42.190 --> 01:07:43.050
I'll see you in the woods.
