THE OHIO BIGFOOT FLAP

THE OHIO BIGFOOT FLAP: THE DEFINITIVE CASE FILE
Project Lead: Jeremiah Byron, Bigfoot Society
Local Investigators: Glenn Adkins and the Ohio Squatch Project team
Event Window: March 6 – March 10, 2026; ongoing
Geographic Scope: Portage and Trumbull Counties
CHRONOLOGICAL SIGHTING LOG
CASE #01: THE MANTUA ANCHOR
Date/Time: March 6, 2026 | 12:23 PM
Location: Mantua Center, OH (Heavily wooded terrain)
Subject: 9ft tall, Brown hair
Details: Observed by a field researcher with MTCR. The subject was stationary in a woodline before realizing it was being watched. It displayed "extraordinary situational awareness" and retreated into deep brush at a high velocity without making significant noise.
Investigative Note: This established the "Western Anchor" of the flap.
CASE #02: THE MANTUA GRUNT
Date/Time: March 7, 2026 | 10:52 PM
Location: Mantua Area, OH
Subject: 8ft tall, Brown hair.
Details: Witness Dylan Obney reported a total "Forest Hush"—the immediate cessation of all insect and frog noise. This was followed by heavy, rhythmic bipedal footsteps and a deep, vibrating "chest grunt" that the witness felt as much as heard.
Evidence: Physical 16-inch tracks were located in the mud the following morning.
Investigative Note: This was the first confirmation of physical evidence (tracks) and auditory vocalization in the surge.
CASE #03: THE GARRETTSVILLE STATIONARY
Date/Time: March 9, 2026 | 10:20 AM
Location: Garrettsville, OH (8 miles East of Mantua)
Subject: 8ft tall, Black hair.
Details: A witness observed the subject standing perfectly still against a dark backdrop of hemlocks. The shift from brown to black coloration began here. The subject was noted for its "mass" and "blocky" shoulder structure.
CASE #04: THE HEADWATERS TRAIL "STILT-GAIT" (Elite Sighting)
Date/Time: March 9, 2026 | 11:47 AM
Location: Headwaters Trail near Hankee Rd.
Subject: 10ft tall, Pitch-Black hair.
Details: Witnesses Anonymous and Jacob Taylor had a 15-second face-to-face encounter. They described a "stilt-like" gait—unusually long, stiff-legged strides—and a "torso-pivot." Because the subject appeared to lack a flexible neck, it had to rotate its entire upper body to track the witnesses.
Biological Markers: Massive 4ft wide shoulders; a "musky, wet-dog" odor; ground-shaking footfalls.
CASE #05: THE WINDHAM SKEPTIC
Date/Time: March 9, 2026 | 6:00 PM
Location: Windham, OH (Residential woodline)
Subject: 6ft tall, Brown hair.
Details: Observed by a self-proclaimed skeptic from her living room window. Despite its smaller 6ft frame, she noted an "impossibly long stride" that covered a clearing in seconds.
Investigative Note: Likely a juvenile or sub-adult traveling under the protection of the larger subjects.
CASE #06: THE ROUTE 303 "BLURRED FACE"
Date/Time: March 9, 2026 | 8:00 PM
Location: Route 303 near Tinkers Creek (Streetsboro/Hudson line)
Subject: 6.5ft tall, Lean, Brown hair.
Details: A mother and daughter nearly struck the creature with their car. It was walking in the lane of traffic against the flow of cars.
Biological Markers: "Extremely long arms" and a "blurred face"—the facial hair was lighter and so dense it obscured the eyes and nose. Again, the witness used the term "stilt-like" to describe its weird walking fashion.
CASE #07: THE NEWTON TOWNSHIP BREACH
Date/Time: March 10, 2026 | 4:00 AM
Location: Newton Township, OH (Trumbull County Line)
Subject: 10ft tall, "Black Shadow" / Silhouette.
Details: A resident was letting their German Shepherd out when the dog lunged toward the woods before retreating in terror. The witness saw a massive figure "crashing" through heavy brush with no regard for stealth.
Investigative Note: Marks the official crossing into Trumbull County.
CASE #08: THE LAKE MILTON INCIDENT
Date/Time: March 10, 2026 | 10:30 AM
Location: Lake Milton, OH (Private residence)
Subject: 7ft tall, Dark Reddish-Brown.
Details: A female witness observed the subject for 30 seconds from her window.
Biological Markers: "Big, fat, round, muscular arms." The subject ran with a heavy forward lean toward a pond on the property. The witness was adamant: "It didn't seem like no deer" and ruled out a bear due to the bipedal shape and muscularity.
The Ohio Bigfoot Flap is still being investigated as of 3/14/26 by boots on the ground investigator Glenn Adkins of the Ohio Squatch Project. http://www.ohiosquatchproject.com
