Southern Utah Camper Shares Years of Sasquatch Encounters Near Cedar City!

In this episode, we delve into the extraordinary experiences of Kasey from Southern Utah, a lifelong hiker and camper who began noticing something unusual during family trips in the rugged hills near Cedar City and Pine Valley Reservoir. What started as a quiet night under the stars soon unfolded into glowing eyes at the tree line, a shadow moving past a tent in the moonlight, and footprints pressed deep into the earth with striking detail.

Over the years, repeated visits to a remote creek campsite revealed towering wood structures, trees snapped in unsettling ways, and moments in the dark that shifted the atmosphere entirely. With each trip, the activity seemed to build — subtle at first, then undeniable. A low growl from the brush. Movement just beyond the reach of a flashlight. Physical evidence left behind in places few people travel.

Kasey shares his journey thoughtfully, reflecting on the land, the history of Southern Utah stretching toward Arizona, and the possibility that something has long moved through these canyon corridors. From tracks and structures to deeper questions about awareness and connection, his account paints a vivid picture of Bigfoot’s presence in the Southwest.

Join us as we explore Kasey’s unfolding encounters and the mysterious presence that lingers in the wild landscapes of Utah.

00 You're listening to BIGFA Society and I'm Jeremiah Byron. In this show, we go beyond the campfire stories to bring you first hand encounters from people who say they've seen something impossible. From backwoods trails and remote mountain haulers to quiet farms and crowded highways. The stories come from everywhere, and each one leaves us with more questions than answers. These are the voices of the people who've lived it. To settle in, because today you'll hear another account that just might change the way you see the woods forever. So stay with us, all right, Big for Society, Welcome back. We've got the privilege of talking to Casey today. Casey is an individual that is out there from the southern Utah area. He is a lifelong hiker in Camper and we got connected through a Facebook post and he'll be sharing some things about I believe, Southern Utah, Arizona, all sorts of intrancing stuff. So welcome to the show case.

00 Are you doing today? Man? And I deserve how you doing? Awesome? Yeah, myself as well, but anything else that the listeners would want to know about you before we get going, Casey, just the. Outdoors, the kind of guy, blue collar, you know. Dispecial, awesome, very good. Well, yeah, man, feel free to take us back to you know, let's let's just go kind of chronological here, like when was the first time that you realized that you had something weird going on in one of your experiences? For sure?

40 So so Vickfill wasn't even a I saw it in my head until about twenty nineteen. I saw a documentary about the Patty Gimmick film, the one where they used the athlete to recreate it and see if they could, you know, and I just really started contemplating the concept. And I have a buddy who's in who was in southern East at the time I was living in I was living in Nevada and I wasn't living in Utah yet, but it was August of twenty twenty. My buddy was like, hey, you want to go camping. I was like, yeah, for sure.

21 And I had a you know, I was married a couple of kids at the time, and he was married in a couple of kids. And we went up to Spot a little north of Cedar, and. We drove from. Nevada, so we had a very long drive, and so we didn't get there until close to dark, and he was like, hey, let's get a fire going. He was like, all right, So we went out into the tree line to see if we can find some wood. And I brought a Salis doll. You know, I thought I was, you know, cool, and he brought an axe and there was a big down stree and we started like trying to cut off like branches and things like that.

07 And so he's taking his ass to it. And now that I think about it, essentially woodenkockx. You know, it didn't click until we were driving home. But so. We ended up finding someone that had been cut prior on the other side of the log. And if whoever put that there, I apologize and took you would. We ended up not being able to use it because I guess there was a fireman and whatnot. But so while so we get the wood, we ended up having to put out the fire or whatever.

49 And I'm setting on my tent and I had a ten man tent for some reason, I was brand new. I was just you know, breaking it in and I had a headlingponse. See, because like I said, we didn't get there till after dark. And. I kept getting a weird feeling. So I would look up and I would look to my right, and there was the tree line. There was there's like a bigger clearing, but we were in like this small clearing, kind of like just off the other clearing. But then the woodline is literally just I want to say, there's about sixty feet away from our camp site, and I'm setting up a tent and I'm got this weird feeling to look right. And I looked right and I saw two sets of eyes, one higher than the other.

37 And then I looked over and a few feet away from those two, I saw another one. I was telling myself at the time that maybe it's owls. It's got to be a bird, right, So they got to be birds or something. But now that I think about it, at the distance they were, and how hard the eyes were separate, the distance eyes, there's I just I don't see it being a bird, and a lot of birds are kind of offset to the side a little bit, so I just, I. I don't know. I had a hard time, you know, convincing myself with that. And uh so we made dinner and we're all in bed, and so the back of my tent was facing the tree line. The front was facing my So my buddy was sleeping in the bed of his truck and his daughters had a little small tint right in front of the truck. So the front of my tent was facing his truck, but the back was facing the tree line. Now, my son, he didn't say anything until we were heading home.

35 But I'm a very light sleeper, especially out in the woods because it's you know, it's just a new environment and things like that. So it's very like I'm a light sleeper at home too. But I'm laying in there and I'm facing my buddy's truck. I'm facing the front of my tent, and my son was facing the back, and I just hear walking. Now the fact that I'm not only like sleeper, but it's like I would have heard him get up. He was literally no more than like five six feet away from my tent. I would have heard him get out of the bed of his truck and you know, walk over to go to the bathroom. I didn't hear him get up, but I hear walking. And as I get and get a little ahead of myself, I apologize. So the next morning his kids were like, hey, let's go walk up the mountain, and I a little bit of a helicopter parent. My kids were still fairly young in the single digits, and I was like, well, I'm gonna go with the kids, and so I walked with him and we ended up seeing well, I ended up seeing his structure like d of just like at that.

47 You know, there was a branch like a tree with like a branch sticking out like this, and there were two branches taking in between like that, and so I was like, that's pretty interesting. And I'm looking around and then that's seen the footprint. I did take pictures of him, but like I said, I'm doing this on my phone, so I unfortunately I can't like pop him up. But and I was like that's pretty interesting, you know. We ended up leaving later that day and I told my wife. I was like, hey, did you hear anything last night? And she didn't. She's a heavy sleeper. But my son, I was like, I saw a silhouette walk past the act. He didn't, says Hiloetters too little. He's like he said he saw a shadow or something to walk past the back of tent. So I was like, it's pretty interesting. That's like my first real like.

38 Like encounter. And then there was another time I was camping with that same buddy in the Pine Valley Reservoir and it was the April or twenty twenty one. We were just sitting around the campfire and. I didn't know, we're just a bunch of deer just kind of ran off the side of the mountain into this little clearing that we were camped at and we're like, oh, that's crazy. And I got you know, video of them coming down. I said, Wow, that's awesome.

22 And uh but the next morning we decided, you know, let's go for a little hike. So you hike to the end of the campground there's a trailhead and we kind of did more of a loop. We didn't do like the whole trail. We're coming back, and ended up getting a picture of a real good print and that just again just everything starting solidifying. This for me that Okay, this is you know, this is the thing. And then back in November of twenty twenty one, me and my family decided to go camping in that spot that uh my buddy had taken us to uh North's Cedar, and.

06 We had. It was like a November so it was like eighteen degrees outside, and I had a little heater and I'm like, man, this thing's not really cute enough, you know, and uh, we heard a tree break, but again at the time, I was like, maybe it was just, you know, because it's so cold. The ice for I was in a broken brand. So I'm not committing that to anything. But that was like a because me and my wife, by that time it had multiple conversations. She's watched me watch documentaries at. The topic, and so. Her and I really at each other like all right, I was like, well, you know it, since the heater is not working, let's go sleep in the truck. So we all ended up going to sleep in the truck. And so the next morning, I'm like, hey, let's go, let's go walk around. You know, we'd like to. We're pretty outdoors me. So we just walked around the the inside the woodline. But at one spot, and again.

01 Like I do have pictures of all this stuff, there was a there was a. Campsite that had been tore up, like the tent was down, There's bunch of trash everywhere, like a foam cooler was just thrown about, and there was a it's funny because when we were walking to it, we found the tent poles and uh, but it was snapped. But this was like almost almost one hundred yards from where the tent was, and because we picked out of that's crazy because the tent was like, it wasn't just up in the clearing, it was like up and around and then it was up against the tree line, so you had to come around to see it. That's what we didn't see it before.

45 That's why the tent spiked. The tent pole was And then O'Mally does and we're like, wow, that's crazy. So I took pictures of it. And then we get just a little further into the tree line, not very far, like a stone stow away, and there was this massive structure and I was like, oh dude, it's phenomenal. Right, So I. Started going in and taking pictures of it and stuff like that. And one of the craziest things about the structure that made me thinks is it wasn't man made. Was the initial log that it was posted up to was just massive, but it was being held down by another log just by like that much's it was just sitting in it, you know, just barely, so it was pretty intense. It was very big structure. And then there was another log.

38 It looked like it had been cut, but for some reason, it was eighth the tank feed up in a tree. Just this log that had been cut about eight inches in diameter. Just in a tree, you know. So I took a picture of that, and then like we started walking along the ridge or whatever, and we just kept finding rupture. Was one of them had a just a small trees just right through it, and it was a structure built around it, and it was just it was just phenomenal. And then, uh, there was one other time north of Cedar. We were just we were just looking for camps lights basically, you know, because we don't like to pay for camping, so we try to find like BLM and stuff like that camp on and uh, we were just we had parked on the side of the road, but we walked up one way. We kind of did like a loop.

31 And came back down. And on our way down I found another structure and and I obviously I think pretures of it, but the top was broke and twisted down and then there was a bunch of branches on top of it. That's how it was able to be formed, and I took pictures you know, my kids, and then I got a picture of me next to it. I'm about five six, five seven, and it was again it was snapped at about hand feet maybe, and it was fairly thick, you know. And uh so a buddy of mine, he he runs Southern.

11 Utah Bigfoot Association. He was he's a lot like uh Joel Thomas. Uh someone need to interviewed while back. He's also a traveling musician, but he also studies you know, Bigfoot and you know, ah, you know there's some extra terrephical stuff as well as liot into That's kind of how I got into like wanting to share my encounters is you know, through him. I started talking to him and I started opening up about it. But he had a show out in Cedar and I was like, hey, there was a structure out here. Do you want to check it out? He's like yeah. So we went up and we ended up finding like three or four more structures that weren't there when me and my family went. You know, but this was like three or four years prior that we found the one. So we went up and we found it was like, yeah, about three or four other structures that weren't there before. Plus there was a tree that was in between two trees, just sitting there and there's no root base. You know, it didn't snap and fall in between there because there was no root base there. There was this other spot just north of like Pine Valley, kind of south of Cedar City.

19 There was a spot that another buddy of mine and I had found kind of on accident. You know, we were looking for, you know, a trailhead. You know, we're trying to find a trail to hike, and h went up trying to hike it and I got a halfway rained understorm something come through, so we turned around. But so we found this really neat campsite and we you know, him and I camped there a couple of times. Nothing crazy, but sorry. So how this this spot works is there's three camp sites and it's it's like an unstationed campground. There's you know, no fees, nothing like that, but there's each site has a bench and they have like fire pits, but that's it.

05 There's no bathrooms, there's no you know scene certainly nothing like that, but a stone stow away. There's a creek. And uh so We really like this spot because there's access to water, it's pretty quiet, pretty clean, and uh, the first time we brought our families there, we noticed a so there was this structure, like so like the best camping spot is like the biggest one there, and it's like the closest to the water, but you got to go over a little hill, you know, and then you just walk out, you know, a couple one hundred feet or so, and then there's the creek. So but right over the hill there was a structure and it was just like an outside down you almost it was just like this. And it's been there as many times.

01 We can't there a few times because it's such a nice spot and it's one of our favorite spots, but it is a little hard to get to. You definitely like or we'll drive at least some good clearance, some good tires, and so every time we go out there, you know, it's like, I mean, we heard footprints one time, you know, nothing crazy, but uh, there's another spot that's kind of off of this spot, Like it's just before you get to that camp site. But this one doesn't have a table, doesn't have like a n actual fire pit. It's just a little spot right off the road that you can camp at, and it is it's actually closer to the creek than the other one. So I brought another buddy money from high school, the buddy that I cantered with, you know prior to you know, if he brings his pam on every mind. And so we ended up uh camping at this spot, just the one off because there was like some people camp from those spots because it's it's a good spot. So we ended up having a camp in the spot is just off for the good one. And we're sitting around the fire and I was facing like the kind of the way you come in, and there's there's a bar wire fence, like because they have free range out there and this is gonna be pertinent to another encounter I pat out there, so there's like a barb wire fence, you know, And I'm sitting facing this fence, and I see a gear Ago bibles, Oh dude, the Geera my headlamp on, and

36 all of a sudden, I think coyote was like, oh dude, the coyote. My buddy was kind of sitting out there watching with me, and he's kind of like Yosimiti stam and he's I mean, he's got to do in r with a nice flashlight on it, so anytime he gets a chance to pop it out, he does. So he pulls out as they are now, he brought his camper. I brought a tint. I don't. I'm not into the lamping. I like to throw a tank, you know. The fanciest thing I'd do is like sleeping pads, because you know, the rockster are no fun. So he pulls out his air and he's like trying to see if you can see anything, and then he sees these eyes and I couldn't see him because I had a stigmasms. So I got my glasses. And the headlamp I had at the time was one of those ones where he could move it and have like the bar but had like the beam on the side.

21 So any like I would put my glasses on it, I would turn my headl on, but I would get a glare so I couldn't see anything. I would take my glasses off and I couldn't see anything. So I'm like, dude, what is it? And he's and he's he's been in like security for a very long time. He's very disciplined in that aspect, and he's like, dude, I'm gonna I'm gonna shoot this thing, dude, dude if it keep like so, what he said it was doing is he could see the eyes, but it was doing this, and it was coming closer. It was walking towards us very slowly, but it was doing this. And he's like, dude, I watched him switch it from safe to fire. I was carrying, but I had. A sidearm and I just unsnapped. I didn't draw, I just had it unsnapped. And I'm just like, dude, tell me, Like, I'm like, be careful. It could be a cow, because again, they have free range out there. And he was like, all right, that's sa dude. We're going to bed. He put his kids up in the camp and I was like, all right, guys, let's let's get in the tent.

11 Let's let's go to bed. Next morning, we walk over to about that area. We're trying to guess him, you know, see if we saw anything or see what we could see the height of this thing and where he said it was because like because I could see the Barbard fence, but like and I could kind of see the camp but there's still some shrubbery kind of striking my view. So it was at least a foot or too taller than me, so like a cow would come up to about my chest. So we're like, yeah, I dude, that's crazy. So again call it a creepy spot. So our last encounter out there, oh my gosh, so we'd it was March of and so in this spot, shortly after we got there, I noticed there was a massive tree just knocked over. And I was like, and it's like it wasn't like in the road, but it was like real close to it.

21 And I was like, dude, that's crazy. That tree wasn't not that last when we came here, because the last time we tried to camp there, there's a bunch of people there and my buddy actually hit the awning of his camper on that tree, so that and the tree didn't follow. So this tree, it all of a sudden knocked over. I'm like, oh, that's pretty crazy, dude. Maybe someone hit it on like one of those their UAVs or ut ATVs or whatever, like maybe somebody hit it because it was just snap. I didn't see any like damage. I wasn't really looking that close. So I was like, man, that's crazy. So we kind of started setting up camp. We hadn't like set up to tank yet. We're gonna do that closer at a bedtime. And I go over the hill to go to the creek so we can get some water so we can wash dishes and things like that. We don't drink that water, we'll just wash our hands with it. I mean, we do have filters so if we needed to, but we'll I was like, hey, let's let's go get some water. And I have like a five gallon bucket with a little spout on it that I can used to flip up so we can wash hands or wash the dishes. And so we go over the hill and that structure that has been there for at least two or three years, the less side of it is collapsed, and somebody had been cutting a tree back there.

33 We don't believe in that. There's plenty of. Dad fall out there to get and keep a fire going. You don't need to cut down any like live trees. You don't need to do that. I don't see the point in it. I don't don't bring my saws out with them anymore. I don't bring an ass. I bring a little hatchet just in case they like clean stuff up whatever. And there was a tree cut down. It's like, dude, that's crazy. It's you know, like it infuriated me if I'm like whatever. So we go get our water and like, so at this creek, something that I have learned in camping there is you don't go on the other side of the creek because that's usually when something happens. So and I told my kids that, hey, stay on this side of the creek. Do you not go on that side because the other side of the creek it's I've been over there, just like the vibe is different. It feels very heavy, very dark, and it's pretty overgrown. So I'm like, yeah, we're not going over there.

26 Now. There's plenty of dead fold back there and. Right, but there's plenty of like overgrowth I'm sorry, not dead bulk overgrowth. And so it's just we don't go over there. I tell my kids nothing to do that, and we're to create getting water. But they have crawd ads that are just massive, like. A little lobster side. It's crazy. So we're trying to you know, play with the you know, crowd ass try and catch them and stuff like that. And on the corner of my eye, I see my oldest jump over the creek and I looked over and I said, did you just go on the other side of the creep Well, I just it was.

08 Just real quick. I'm like, I don't care. I told you not to go on the other side of the creek. So they put I was like, no, we're done. We're done. So we all hauled it back to camp. So we get back to camp and. So I had it. Me and my buddy were so at a nice spot, like at the creepy spot. It's you can it's like you you can come in on one side and go out on the other. So we both pulled in and me and my buddy were parked right next to each other on the the side going out, and or no, no, no, no, he was actually back in on the other way. Normally he parts next to me on the other side, but he was actually on the other side. So I had a I got a roof rack, and I got like a bag, one of those little travel bags, and we put like our tents or our tent our sleeping bags are sleeping bags. It's just a that in there. Like the chairs and stuff like that.

01 We put all that in there. So my wife is setting up the tent. Well we got to tense that up, but she's setting up the beds. So me and the kids are getting up on the car with pulling stuff down, and I'm hanning to my wife or I'm hen, it's my kids. My kids are heading it's. To my wife. And my oldest who was the one that went on the other side of the creek. I was on the back end of the car, so like I was stepping on the rear passenger door to get up or going stepping on the back bumper and reaching it to pull stuff out. So my daughter was on the passenger side pulling stuff out. I was on the back end. She comes around. Now, my buddy was with me. He has a daughter that's about her age, and she's a little troublemaker, you know, she's you know what I mean, she likes the fib and stuff like that. So they used to be friends. So I'm like, so that'll that'll come to play here insight. So my daughter comes around, almost crying. She's like dad had something groled at me.

53 I'm like stop, you're just I'm like, stop no, we're not doing this. Stop all right, No, just take that to your mom, all right, Like I wouldn't have it. So then I go on the passenger side and I'm reaching up to grab something and then I hear it and I was like cool, So I take it. I hand it to my wife and I tell my I'm like, hey, I just heard something. Now we've heard we've. Had to growdus while we've hyped before, so like we're not new to it. Me and my am my oldest. Also we've had we had like a pine cone thrown at us. I would say, oh, it came out of the tree, but it didn't like just bounce and follow me, you know.

36 So we've had stuff happen. My wife is experienced it before, so she's when I told her, hey, loo, dude, something just growling and she said what He's like, what do you want to do? And I'm like, I don't know, let's just see. So a little earlier that night, there was a white F three point fifty two fifteen maybe early two thousands model in a spot that to the left of the good spot, and so we'd heard the growl a couple of times, and like I told my buddy. I'm like, Adrian, do you hear this? And him and his son came over and they're listening, and his son said he heard it, but him and his daughter like, oh no, no, I don't hear anything. I don't hear anything. And so I was like, well, let me see that truck still here.

17 So I walk around to go see the truck was there. And now this is in a completely different spot, like because the spot goes around and I was right on the other side of the loop and I heard it to the left. I'm like, oh crap. So because of the whole telepathy. Thing or whatnot, I'm like, okay, well maybe if I just talked to it, you know in my heart and in my mind, like, hey, look when I heard it, cause any problems. You know, we're not we don't mean any harm or anything like that. I think something somebody was there was pissing it off because there was like some spent shell casings and some beer bottles and. Stuff like that. So I think something had pissed it off. I was like, look, we're not here to causing problems. We're just trying to get with their families please, you know. So that that truck was going. So I'm like, okay, so it's not them.

03 It's not I don't know, like because once you come into this camp spot camp site, you can't there's not another road. It's just the one in one happened. So they they're not like parked somewhere else, like you know, messing with us. So I walked the I walked the whole thing, came. Back, and we're like, what are we gonna do? And so we stopped setting up. I told my wife to look and start putting stuff away. I think we're gonna we're gonna dip. So my buddy's like, well, let's go see what. We can find out. So in the in the nice camp spot, there's you walk down and there's little clearings just throughout, just little clearing. There's nothing too crazy, like my kids will go out there and play soccer or something like that, Like, don't you know, it's just a nice little clearing. So where the ground was coming from was to the right of my car, and there's like a bunch of trees and stuff like that, like bushes like and then there's like a little walkway to the clearing. It's not like wide open, there's a little walkway, you gotta walk down and then you get to the clearing.

59 So that's where we were hearing the the girl from. So I'm shining my light. I don't see anything, I think till Thomasin says that they're similar, like you know, like you shine a light and you you don't see anything. So I'm like, I can't see anything. And then my buddy again grasses ar, and we walk into this clearing to see if we can find something, like see if we can see anything. So him and I walk into this clearing and he's shining his light up on the show. After the clear the hill goes up, you know, and he's shining. We're shining light stuff there. We're looking where we heard it. We can't see anything. Now some people say, oh, mountain lion or bobcat. The only thing was we saw a little rabbit hopping its way towards the campsite, towards the spot where the girl came from originally, So I don't know about that. But we're shining it up and you can hear something walking, and you hear rocks kind of fall, and then you hear tree bricks, and we're just shining his legs we can't see anything. So I'm like, look, dude, I don't know. Bro, Like you want to stay, that's cool, But me and my family were dipping, so we ended up packing up and camping in another spot. So about a month later, it was on like Mother's Day of twenty twenty five because I asked my wife, what do you want to do for mother Day? And she's like, I'm gonna go day camp. Well she wanted to camp, but we camp thing.

25 Takes a lot of work, especially with kids. You gotta like. Replan everything for like a week or two in advance. So I'm like, all right, you know, let's just let's just do a day camp at that spot. Because I really wanted to go back and see if we could find anything. So we go back there. We couldn't get the good spot because there was somebody already there, so we were the spot right next to it, and you know, we kind of start grilling whatever, we start making smoor or whatever. We're doing our thing. We start walking around the creek and whatnot, and I found some footprints, took some pictures. I'm like, because I just I don't you know, they weren't like because one of the best prints that I'd ever seen that I took the pit throu It was about the same size of mind, but it was like twice as wide.

11 So a lot of. These footprints they maybe a little bit longer than mine, but they didn't look much wider. So I didn't know what to make of it. But then my son finds a nail and it's so I actually have it with me, so I look at it. Now, I'm a handyman by trade, so I work with hand tools power tools on a fairly regular basis. So my son hands me is thinking I'm looking at it, I'm analyzing it, and I don't see like teeth marks from my channel lofts or any type of tool, and I'm like, this is pretty interesting. So I kept it. So this is that nail, not like a regular nail. This is pretty massive, you know. So we find that nail and I'm just like, pretty cool. We haven't been back to that spot since, but it's, uh, yeah, it's definitely solidify the topic for me, you know for sure.

15 Man, Yeah, you have been experiencing some really interesting things. That nail. H is that something? I mean that looked like it is a pretty tough nail In order to bend it like that. What are you thinking? I I agree, because like it's I mean, it's pretty thick, you know what I mean. And like I said, it's I don't see any like tool marks or teeth marks or anything. I mean, there's some build up up here, like from rust and it's russ there's restaurants, so it's it's obviously been sitting out there for a bit, you know. So yeah, I.

59 A little perplexed. But it's I don't know. I I think I know what it is, but I you know, the cerona, I guess right. You mentioned finding footprints a few times in this area. How how long or what were dimensions on those? I didn't have a tape measure with me a lot of them. Like when I, uh take pictures of footprints, I'll usually just put mine right next to it, because I like when I'm hiking or something, I don't keep a tape measure on me. But like I'm a size eight to nine depending on the size of the boot. Some of them are, you know, a few sizes bigger than mine.

43 But the print I found in Pine Valley is probably the best because you can see like the toes, like where they curl, so there's like a little clump of mud where it was grabbing and you can so the what's it called, the the minatartial break. You can kind of see that and see the heel and it. But it was twice as white as my but barefoot it was twice as white as mine. And there was also like a little branch that I'd seen. It was like it looked like it was twisted, like the way. It was broken off. And it's funny because like I copied a bunch of stuff from like my my Facebook, so I have a private album on Facebook where.

24 I save all this stuff. And like the picture of that the three that was down in the creepy spot, the big one, I took a picture of that. Couldn't find it. I also took a picture of the structure after it had been torn up. Couldn't find that one. So it's it's pictures are hitting miss. But I said a lot of them up aside in an album for this interview, But like I. Said, I ended up having just my phone. So but it's like, yeah, I don't know, I don't know thak can take measure with me, but it's yeah, they're I'm a small guy, so very anything better than mine? I guess, oh, I probably just sorry. So but next to that branch, it looked like there was another footprint.

08 But m okay, the the creepy spot is titled that because it's a thing where, uh, if you got a good campsite, sometimes you don't want to overrun And I totally get that too. But question for you, since you know where the spot is, have you ever looked that up in certain areas or certain places online to see if there's other been other encounters that have happened in that same area. So I haven't looked it up per se, but. Uh. Tom Bennett, he runs the Southern ew Big Food Association, he I talked to him about it, and I ended up going back on his YouTube channel and like actually finding these. But he had a couple of reports of I don't remember if like one was a footprint, and then I think one was like I think it was like a how and then like I guess some people being chased out of the area. I don't I don't remember the exact.

11 Details of it. But he said that he'd gotten reports and stuff in that area because I told him generally about where it was. Interesting. You'd mentioned telepathy really quickly. Is that something where you have had interactions with that earlier or how did you know about that at that time? Well, once I got into the uh, the big Foot topic, I just threw myself into like documentaries and like just listening to encounters and stuff like. I prefer to listen to the encounters and stuff like that because a lot of pictures and videos like they can be you know, like I'm I'm very you know, critical, especially my own stuff, you know, I mean, there's all the footprints I had pictures of, there's only one that you.

01 Know, I'm even a Hunterson Convince is not human. But a lot. Of it was documentaries and things like that. You know, you hear encounters or whatever, and it's it's it sounds like a thing. Because we're so distracted by technology and just noise around us and things like that that it's easy to you know, like cloud that spot of our mind where anything like that would be possible. Like I mean, anybody who's married should be able to see you know, you look at your wife and you can read your mind. You know, it's there's something in there, you know, But like I feel like it's something that is could absolutely be possible, especially if you're you know, something that's you know, not as you know, doesn't dwell on civilization and doesn't you know, involve itself in such things.

48 And I mean. There's talk about extraterrestrials and and and bigfoot and sure that could you know, when nothing is certain, anything is possible. I mean it's you got something that's hormin it or or you got you got something that is a species of something that is out in the wilderness that I can't call the five o'clock news and be like I got a dodging, you know. So it's it's possible that you know, extra correct you I'm sure maybe they're abducting them, doing research on them. Maybe they're created me that way. I don't know, but I'm I'm open to almost every aspect of it. So it's like, so again going back to the teleptothy thing, It's like, sure I could, I.

35 Could see it, gotcha. So this sounds like is this a thing where you're also trying to well, let me let me say it like this. So I find talking to individuals that usually there's one of two camps where there's either an individual where they are just outdoors and they have had experiences, or there's individuals where they have had experiences and then they are trying to have more experiences and so they're very much into it. What would you put yourself into either one of those camps.

23 Because of like the day to day stuff Like I I'm not out looking for it. Like I said, we like to hide, we like to camp, and it's just stuff just like happens to us. And it's not every single. Time, you know, but it's I'm I definitely look forward to something happening, but I'm not like, you know, you know, out looking. For it like I said. I mean, if I go to a spot, I definitely look for stuff like hey, is there a structure here, is there a footprint whatever, Like I'll look at that, but I'm not like, oh boy, I hope I have any counter. But if it does, it does. I mean, you can't like force these things on it, because I've seen documentaries where people have said that, you know, if you're out looking for like, they know we're there before you know we get there. Like they they can hear our trucks, they can hear. Humans are just loud creatures, you know. We make a lot of noise, you know, we're so they know we're there before we even get there.

22 So it'll be like, oh, I'm gonna go to this camp site and I'm gonna do this and do that. I mean, I'm not saying it doesn't work, you know. I mean I've seen you know, videos and documentaries. Work does. But there's also times where, you know, like on the Discovery. Channel, where they're like, oh, you know, we're gonna catch you know, lockness, and then they go out they. Don't find anything. You know. It's sometimes you do, sometimes you don't. But so I'm not out looking for it because it's it's they know we're there before we get there. I mean, if they want to make themselves known, let them. If not, it's okay, you know, because like all the other encounters have usually had, it's just been like what's sta actually know, three breaks, little things like that, nothing creepy.

02 Nothing malicious. But the last one is just like that made us uncomfortable, you know, and that was like, okay, that was our first like encounter that kind of put us into fear. And another funny thing about that is my buddy that was with me is shortly after that. He ended up admitting that he heard not only growls, but grunts. I didn't hear grunts, he said, he did so, but we're not out there looking for it because it's like they know we're there. You know. It's it's like I'm not I'm. Not gonna I mean, we're going on a high desk one thing, but I'm not going to hike out five to ten miles to try and find something with my family and then come back to camp. And it's just, you know, set up for camp in general is a lot of work. So no, absolutely, it is. Uh, it's a lot of work.

43 It's worth it, but yeah, I agree with you, it's a lot of work. I'm looking at the map on this area and it looks like, well, I don't know exactly how far away it is, but this is in the same region as Zion National Park, right. Kind of. Yeah, yeah, yeah, Zion is to the east a little bit more, but Zion is still like southern Utah. Yeah, me and my family we've been out here for a few years and still haven't really gone to Zion. It's it's it's too crowded for us. We like to, so that's why we don't like campus. You know a lot of sentient camp sites and you know, hike trails and Zion because it costs money, you know, I mean times are tough, and there's just so many beautiful places to see that are closer to home that you don't have to pay for.

33 Yeah. I think that's a little west of Zion. I bring that up because I know that there's also uh Bigfoot accounts or or at least campfire stories from that area too, where it was called more a wild Man of Zion I believe, and that goes back almost one hundred years. So there's you know, not just the area you've been bringing up, which is west of fifteen right more or less, Yeah, but east of east of fifteen if you want to say that highway is your divide or it sounds like there could be stuff going on over there, but who knows it. I'd be interesting if people reach out if they've heard stuff in in your Cedar area or or the Zion National Park as well.

35 Yeah, there's there's a there's talk about I guess there's like a migratory thing. I don't know exactly what it's called. There's like a I want to I think it's a Navajo reservation, but there's it might be you, but there's a reservation and there's talk of like that it's a big migratory path that comes down from like this reservation area and they go down to I don't possibly start like Arizona. I don't know, but there's like a you know, like they migrate down that way, so I don't know it's in the area, so perhaps. Yeah, it's it's really interesting. I mean that whole area down there. I mean, you've got I've taken stuff from around Grand Canyon and then just a ton of stuff.

22 Even though it's the other side of Utah, but it's also in the south. You got the Navajo Nation area. Just so many, so many reports a bigfoot over there. So it's good to hear from the other side of Utah. I think you are the first individual I've talked to about southwest Utah, which is pretty cool. So good to have some representation of this area for sure. Casey, it has been a very interesting time chatting with you. I want to make sure that you were able to share everything that you came on the show to share today.

10 I think I did awesome. So and we can take this out just because it How many years ago did it happen again? When your child had the sighting of something outside the tent? That was. August twenty night to twenty twenty, so about six. Years okay, six years ago? Okay, gotcha? Have you talked to and I bring this up just because I have a very similar situation in my life where my kid we were out a few years ago and he he thought he saw something, And when you talk to him today about it, you you get different, you get details.

10 You know, as you have a conversation with someone as they get older, right because they know how to say things differently. Have you had a conversation with your child in years after that that incident about it? Not necessarily. I haven't sat him down and been like, hey, so look man, we got to talk about this. But anytime the topic the like bigfoot anything comes up, he brings up oh yeah, like that time that I saw the shadow. He still called it a shadow, but I'm like stillhouette. But but he. Still brings it up, and he gets like, oh like that one time. You know, So he does bring it up, but I haven't add some like details per se, I mean, and it's hard to tell with this silhouette, you know what I mean, because it's it's the light was coming from the moon. It's like we didn't have lanyrn sitting outside behind my tent. We didn't have like I said, we couldn't have a fire going, So it's not like and the fire was like where my head was, you know, not like where I was facing, but where my head was.

07 So it's like, it's not like the light came from my like anything that we had because you know, and again the tree line was like sixty feet away from us, so it it's but there was nobody else camp back there because you can't really drive up that way because the road kind of like like I mean, if you had something pretty heavy duty, but again we were kind of blocking it, so you couldn't really drive up there. So it's not like there was somebody else camper. Plus we wouldn't know. So I mean, with the moonlight, it maybe made it look shorter, you know, I just but he still does bring it up. That's really that's really interesting. Based on what you've experienced and I mean what you've heard about the area, do you have any thoughts about I would say some people in certain areas of the US view Bigfoot in different ways.

02 Do you view it in a certain way in your area. As in like what it is as a species. Or yeah, yeah, some people think it might be a undiscovered ape or a relative of human humans that we don't know about. Well, so I'm not a biologist. I didn't go to college for or anything like that, but I'd like to learn as much as I can about as much as I can. So I've from what I've picked up, you know, from my Google Wikipedia research. At one point there was at least thirteen home and it species like on the planet at the same time.

44 Now again don't quote me on that, but and so you know, they say that the reasons that humans surviving other us didn't is because we adapted all of the like DNA or the. Certain things that helped us survive. We can handle certain weather better than like the Neanderthals could, but the but the Neanderthals were better something else, and like there was also like inter breeding and stuff like that. So you know, I guess that's how we survived. And to say that another one didn't. Just I don't know. I feel like something could it could be one to survive.

27 Could it be. Something that you know, you know. Aliens took humans or an ape and like we're doing, you know, work on it and created bidfoot and brought it down. I don't know. It's the fact that I put stories of people saying, oh they shot at them. And oh there was blood, and. It's but there's some you know, with the whole you know, cloaking aspect that I mean, maybe there's different species. I mean because when you ask people about the encounters, they look different, you know, they they some of them are sure, some of them are taller, some of them are bigger, some of them are skip. So there's probably multiple different species. Maybe there's one that is an interdimensional being, maybe you know, because of extraterrestrials. Maybe there's some big but they can do that because they've been in contact with extra treshiels.

16 Now as big a can cloak or teleport, whatever the case may be. I'm not play any of that out of the question because, like I said, when nothing's certain, anything is possible, you know. So I do lean more towards the hominid like it's a flesh thing. But is it possible that some have the ability to do certain things? Absolutely? It really is an interest. It's always an interesting conversation when you when you bring that question up, because there are so so many different ways to look at it. And I mean, this might be the year where we get more info. You never know who knows what is coming down the pipeline with information. Leave it at that, But Casey, thank you so much for coming on the show.
