He Thought Someone Needed Help in the Idaho Woods | Archives

A Navy veteran hears what sounds like a rescue beacon in the Idaho woods. He follows the beeping, thinking someone needs help. When he returns with a flashlight, he hears it behind him across the road.

Camping near Sandpoint, Idaho, Jason encounters a sound that seems mechanical—with occasional notes that remind him of a bird. His search takes him toward an overgrown campsite where he previously heard wood knocks and found trees bent across the trail.

In Episode 1209 of Bigfoot Society, Jason shares the unsettling sequence, a Louisiana encounter involving widely spaced yellow-green eyes, and a conversation with two Montana hunters whose experience raises another question about the mysterious beeping.

What was Jason following through the woods?

1
00:00:00.130 --> 00:00:04.120
It sounded so mechanical and real, but once in a

2
00:00:04.160 --> 00:00:05.900
blue moon, it sounded like a bird.

3
00:00:06.580 --> 00:00:09.500
You're listening to Bigfoot Society, and I'm Jeremiah Byron. In

4
00:00:09.539 --> 00:00:12.199
this show, we go beyond the campfire stories to bring

5
00:00:12.220 --> 00:00:16.250
you firsthand encounters from people who say they've seen something impossible,

6
00:00:16.530 --> 00:00:20.109
from backwoods trails and remote mountain haulers to quiet farms

7
00:00:20.210 --> 00:00:23.510
and crowded highways. The stories come from everywhere, and each

8
00:00:23.629 --> 00:00:27.480
one leaves us with more questions than answers. These are

9
00:00:27.519 --> 00:00:30.960
the voices of the people who've lived it. So settle

10
00:00:31.039 --> 00:00:34.320
in because today you'll hear another account that just might

11
00:00:34.380 --> 00:00:37.200
change the way you see the woods forever. So stay

12
00:00:37.240 --> 00:00:39.840
with us. Please keep Jeremiah in your prayers as he

13
00:00:39.880 --> 00:00:44.159
continues his fight against cancer. For more updates about his

show notes. Thank you.

16
00:00:50.090 --> 00:00:53.590
So I'm going to start 10 years ago in Louisiana.

17
00:00:54.640 --> 00:00:56.090
I had a boot camp.

18
00:00:56.189 --> 00:00:57.250
I'm a Navy veteran.

19
00:00:57.270 --> 00:01:00.630
I had a boot camp buddy of mine out there

20
00:01:00.729 --> 00:01:03.990
just outside of Lafayette in an area called Abbeville.

21
00:01:04.950 --> 00:01:09.180
And I was actually quite a few miles away from Abbeville.

22
00:01:09.200 --> 00:01:12.480
There's a state park out there called Palmetto State Park.

23
00:01:13.689 --> 00:01:15.670
And I was on the other side of the road.

24
00:01:15.730 --> 00:01:20.510
Probably one to two miles down. Very underdeveloped area. The

25
00:01:20.629 --> 00:01:24.489
floodplain or whatever got up to, or the surge or

26
00:01:24.530 --> 00:01:27.000
whatever they call it, got up to 10 feet out there.

27
00:01:27.760 --> 00:01:30.079
If you did build out there, your house had to

28
00:01:30.099 --> 00:01:33.319
be on stilts. And I think the minimum was 10 feet.

29
00:01:33.700 --> 00:01:36.700
So anyways, my Navy buddy.

30
00:01:36.469 --> 00:01:39.090
Was like, hey, come down here, work in the oil fields.

31
00:01:39.840 --> 00:01:41.879
If you need to, I got 10 acres. You can

32
00:01:41.900 --> 00:01:43.859
go out there and kind of do your own thing

33
00:01:43.920 --> 00:01:48.030
and get your feet set. So I lived in those

34
00:01:48.170 --> 00:01:51.109
kind of woody, swampy area for about two and a

35
00:01:51.150 --> 00:01:51.829
half months.

36
00:01:52.090 --> 00:01:54.030
I did a bushcraft thing and.

37
00:01:54.129 --> 00:01:58.140
Chopped down trees and paracord and kind of built this.

38
00:01:58.060 --> 00:02:00.000
Little cabin out there. And I had a dog.

39
00:02:00.750 --> 00:02:03.329
He was a mutt, but he looked like a Belgian

40
00:02:03.390 --> 00:02:08.099
Malinois with a beagle face. And he was about 35 pounds.

41
00:02:08.139 --> 00:02:11.159
He was kind of like a military dog. Mentioning him

42
00:02:11.240 --> 00:02:13.439
because he's kind of the heart of the story.

43
00:02:13.699 --> 00:02:16.840
He was always on lookout. I traveled a lot.

44
00:02:16.939 --> 00:02:21.169
So he just had military kind of characteristics. And my

45
00:02:21.210 --> 00:02:24.930
little hut that I built, he would sit in the

46
00:02:24.990 --> 00:02:28.860
doorway and just look out all night long. And I

47
00:02:28.900 --> 00:02:31.319
had a little fire on the inside. I'd be sitting

48
00:02:31.379 --> 00:02:32.199
to the right.

49
00:02:32.060 --> 00:02:34.469
Of him in front of my fire, my door and

50
00:02:34.490 --> 00:02:35.409
dog to my left.

51
00:02:35.509 --> 00:02:38.669
And two nights in a row, he acted like a

52
00:02:38.710 --> 00:02:43.789
dog I've never seen act in this way. And he

53
00:02:43.830 --> 00:02:46.590
would snap his head back and forth. He was looking

54
00:02:46.659 --> 00:02:49.740
at something outside and would snap back at me. And

55
00:02:50.319 --> 00:02:54.060
I mean, it was like so fast of him looking out,

56
00:02:54.159 --> 00:02:56.460
back at me, out, back at me, out, back at me.

57
00:02:57.240 --> 00:02:59.219
And he was, he would start to shake.

58
00:02:59.620 --> 00:03:04.159
He would even give me slight, very, very quiet whines.

59
00:03:05.060 --> 00:03:11.060
Usually he was very aggressive, barking, going out, chasing things, growling.

60
00:03:11.710 --> 00:03:13.569
There are a lot of animals out there.

61
00:03:13.590 --> 00:03:22.789
I mean, there were porcupine, not porcupines, armadillos, raccoons, rabbits, bobcats, bears, hogs, um,

62
00:03:24.919 --> 00:03:27.099
So to see this reaction out of this dog, which

63
00:03:27.120 --> 00:03:29.060
I've never seen before, it kind of triggered me, but

64
00:03:29.180 --> 00:03:31.419
I didn't hear anything out there. A lot of times

65
00:03:32.000 --> 00:03:33.780
I would go out and try to scare things away

66
00:03:33.840 --> 00:03:36.500
with them, but that night stood out.

67
00:03:36.699 --> 00:03:38.900
So the very next night it happened again.

68
00:03:38.919 --> 00:03:44.289
And this time I thought something was up before the

69
00:03:44.330 --> 00:03:47.789
night before I kind of just let it go, told

70
00:03:47.830 --> 00:03:50.810
him to calm down. I didn't hear any noise near me,

71
00:03:50.870 --> 00:03:53.909
so I didn't feel like there was a threat. This night,

72
00:03:54.110 --> 00:03:57.469
now I'm a little bit more kind of in tune

73
00:03:57.509 --> 00:04:01.349
with it because this is so strange. And then I

74
00:04:01.409 --> 00:04:05.780
start hearing something bipedal walk, and it sounds heavy. Now,

75
00:04:05.840 --> 00:04:08.659
to let you know, my buddy's property had 10 acres.

76
00:04:08.840 --> 00:04:10.520
I was kind of set up on the edge of

77
00:04:10.599 --> 00:04:15.419
a clearing. And this clearing, he brought in dirt and clay.

78
00:04:17.019 --> 00:04:21.920
Maybe it was 60 yards long by... 60, 70 yards

79
00:04:22.000 --> 00:04:26.350
long by maybe 40 yards wide. It's not a big clearing.

80
00:04:26.389 --> 00:04:27.949
He wanted to put a little house there. He had

81
00:04:27.990 --> 00:04:30.529
a little tiny kind of pond. There was a canal.

82
00:04:31.129 --> 00:04:33.850
I decided to walk out when I heard the bipedal

83
00:04:33.910 --> 00:04:35.589
walking and it sounded heavy.

84
00:04:35.649 --> 00:04:40.240
It sounded loud. And when I came out, I only

85
00:04:40.279 --> 00:04:41.060
had a headlamp.

86
00:04:41.120 --> 00:04:43.379
And when I turned, I'm looking at a set of

87
00:04:43.600 --> 00:04:48.470
eyes that were yellowish green and The eyes were very

88
00:04:48.569 --> 00:04:52.860
far apart. I'll never forget just kind of the mental

89
00:04:53.040 --> 00:04:55.779
image of what would look like with these eyes so

90
00:04:55.839 --> 00:04:59.199
far apart. And at 30, 40 yards, I was still

91
00:04:59.279 --> 00:05:02.000
looking up at it. Like, I had this feeling of

92
00:05:02.100 --> 00:05:04.110
I'm still looking.

93
00:05:04.050 --> 00:05:08.410
Up at it. I'll never forget it. I'll never forget it.

94
00:05:08.410 --> 00:05:11.350
The next day, I went and bought a huge flashlight because.

95
00:05:12.170 --> 00:05:14.269
it was just so different. I mean, your whole life

96
00:05:14.310 --> 00:05:17.029
you're used to human beings, a certain size and eye

97
00:05:17.069 --> 00:05:21.740
distance away. And it just, it stood out and I'm

98
00:05:21.800 --> 00:05:24.379
sitting there staring at these eyes. My dog came out

99
00:05:24.439 --> 00:05:26.819
with me. He's right on my right side. We don't

100
00:05:26.860 --> 00:05:30.040
have a gun or anything. I actually made a spear

101
00:05:30.079 --> 00:05:32.379
with a big knife. I had, that's all I had.

102
00:05:32.639 --> 00:05:36.160
And, uh, I'm staring at it. It's staring at me.

103
00:05:36.259 --> 00:05:38.779
And I just kind of got a weird feeling and

104
00:05:38.800 --> 00:05:40.699
was like, okay, we're going to, I looked at my

105
00:05:40.720 --> 00:05:42.500
dog and I was, I said, we're going to sit

106
00:05:42.540 --> 00:05:43.139
this one out.

107
00:05:43.240 --> 00:05:46.490
And I went right back inside, never heard it walk away.

108
00:05:46.500 --> 00:05:50.550
The next day I went out and tried to find tracks.

109
00:05:51.290 --> 00:05:52.990
Like I said, he brought in dirt and clay.

110
00:05:53.009 --> 00:05:53.810
It was really weird.

111
00:05:53.850 --> 00:05:57.389
If it, if it rained, it'd be super muddy tracks,

112
00:05:57.449 --> 00:06:00.230
of course. But when it dried, it was, it was

113
00:06:00.310 --> 00:06:04.839
actually like tabletop hard dirt. which would explain maybe why

114
00:06:04.939 --> 00:06:08.180
I heard it and explain why there were no tracks.

115
00:06:08.600 --> 00:06:10.720
I originally thought it was a bear, but bears down

116
00:06:10.759 --> 00:06:13.360
there are pretty small. Even if they stand up, they're

117
00:06:13.420 --> 00:06:17.470
six foot. I'm six foot two, six foot three. And

118
00:06:18.050 --> 00:06:21.230
I'd assume I would see claws if a bear stood up.

119
00:06:21.449 --> 00:06:24.009
At some point, claws would have dug in, and I

120
00:06:24.069 --> 00:06:26.290
never found any tracks.

121
00:06:27.170 --> 00:06:31.060
So that's my first story. I don't know what it was.

122
00:06:31.129 --> 00:06:34.680
Maybe it was Bigfoot. Maybe... It was something else, but

123
00:06:34.800 --> 00:06:37.560
it was big. It had eyes far apart.

124
00:06:38.699 --> 00:06:42.519
And on like an intelligence level, if it was there

125
00:06:42.600 --> 00:06:44.790
for two nights, the first night it was just kind

126
00:06:44.810 --> 00:06:47.389
of watching me. The second night it wanted me to

127
00:06:47.470 --> 00:06:50.250
know it was there. Like I said, I never heard

128
00:06:50.290 --> 00:06:55.569
it walk away. So I definitely stood out as something strange.

129
00:06:55.689 --> 00:06:55.810
So.

130
00:06:56.339 --> 00:06:58.759
That's kind of my first experience that opened me up.

131
00:06:58.990 --> 00:07:01.970
I already was into kind of the Bigfoot possibility and

132
00:07:02.509 --> 00:07:05.550
there being things out there that are intelligent and stealthy.

133
00:07:06.149 --> 00:07:11.170
But that kind of opened up Pandora's box. Currently, I

134
00:07:12.069 --> 00:07:15.139
am living in a truck and truck camper. I'm raising

135
00:07:15.339 --> 00:07:18.920
a Belgian Malinois, and I've been living in the National

136
00:07:18.980 --> 00:07:22.139
Forest for the past year and a half. I'm preparing

137
00:07:22.199 --> 00:07:25.189
this dog for Alaska. I'm moving to Alaska to buy

138
00:07:25.250 --> 00:07:28.509
property way out in the bush. I do plan on

139
00:07:28.550 --> 00:07:31.069
getting him a big brother, but he's going to be

140
00:07:31.310 --> 00:07:35.980
my right-hand man out there. So, My journey started in

141
00:07:36.240 --> 00:07:39.279
Northern Idaho. This is what sparked all of this in

142
00:07:39.300 --> 00:07:43.329
the comments because I saw Northern Idaho, Bigfoot story, and

143
00:07:43.350 --> 00:07:44.089
I have my own.

144
00:07:44.110 --> 00:07:46.790
I was in Sandpoint, Idaho.

145
00:07:47.649 --> 00:07:50.550
If you leave Sandpoint and you head towards Bonner's Ferry,

146
00:07:50.589 --> 00:07:53.889
there's a gas station on your left, maybe three to

147
00:07:53.949 --> 00:07:56.980
four miles down. Right there at the gas station, if

148
00:07:57.009 --> 00:07:59.699
you take a left, that'll take you to you hit

149
00:07:59.740 --> 00:08:02.579
a dirt road, then a big kind of open area

150
00:08:02.620 --> 00:08:07.310
for the snowmobiles and four-wheelers to park their trailers.

151
00:08:08.389 --> 00:08:11.230
And then you can just ride for miles. I mean,

152
00:08:11.250 --> 00:08:11.829
you can take.

153
00:08:12.750 --> 00:08:15.910
This route all the way to Coeur d'Alene.

154
00:08:16.050 --> 00:08:18.870
It takes you to other cities. It's a dirt road

155
00:08:18.889 --> 00:08:20.009
you can go far back on.

156
00:08:20.069 --> 00:08:24.529
Now, for the first, I don't know, 10 miles or so,

157
00:08:26.629 --> 00:08:30.709
you're along a river. Not far down the path, I

158
00:08:30.750 --> 00:08:34.149
would say, all the time. I'm trying to think of

159
00:08:34.200 --> 00:08:36.980
how to best describe it, but within two to three

160
00:08:37.100 --> 00:08:42.000
miles down on your right-hand side, there's going to be

161
00:08:42.200 --> 00:08:44.779
accesses to this river and you'll get to one to

162
00:08:44.820 --> 00:08:49.039
where there's a big, you're going to have this dirt road, rocky, bumpy,

163
00:08:49.080 --> 00:08:51.679
getting down and you'll get down to the river. There'll

164
00:08:51.700 --> 00:08:56.850
be a campsite. You'll take a right, more rocky going downhill.

165
00:08:57.269 --> 00:09:02.009
There'll be probably five campsites or so lined up down

166
00:09:02.090 --> 00:09:06.210
this river with spacing with trees. I mean, it's a

167
00:09:06.250 --> 00:09:11.090
nice area. You'll know this part of the river if

168
00:09:11.139 --> 00:09:14.210
you explore that area because this is probably the only

169
00:09:14.269 --> 00:09:17.250
place that's got really kind of a long stretch.

170
00:09:16.970 --> 00:09:19.190
Of sites people can camp on.

171
00:09:19.450 --> 00:09:22.769
Anyways, I'm out there. It's the end of the summer.

172
00:09:22.909 --> 00:09:26.549
Everyone's back to school. There are no campers. I'm by myself,

173
00:09:27.169 --> 00:09:30.759
and I'm out there with my dog. and it's dusk,

174
00:09:31.039 --> 00:09:34.240
and I start hearing a life beacon. Now, I was

175
00:09:34.299 --> 00:09:36.740
in the Navy, and part of my job was doing

176
00:09:36.779 --> 00:09:39.470
life buoy watch. We would be on the back of

177
00:09:39.490 --> 00:09:42.409
the ship, and we were the last line in case

178
00:09:42.429 --> 00:09:45.470
you fall off. We're the last person that has a

179
00:09:45.470 --> 00:09:48.169
chance of seeing you. And we also called in, like,

180
00:09:48.210 --> 00:09:52.350
surface airships, but whatever. The point is, is I had

181
00:09:52.429 --> 00:09:55.220
this buoy that I'd throw off, and it would start

182
00:09:55.250 --> 00:09:55.710
to beep.

183
00:09:56.240 --> 00:09:59.350
And that's what it reminded me of. So... In my

184
00:09:59.409 --> 00:10:01.909
mind I'm thinking someone's out there and needs help.

185
00:10:03.120 --> 00:10:06.340
And which is strange because the main road to the

186
00:10:06.620 --> 00:10:09.240
national forest isn't that far. I mean, it might be

187
00:10:09.240 --> 00:10:13.029
50 yards from the river. And the section I'm in

188
00:10:13.049 --> 00:10:15.529
is pretty low, so when you get close to that

189
00:10:15.649 --> 00:10:19.039
main road, it's kind of a vertical, maybe 20-foot vertical

190
00:10:19.299 --> 00:10:19.620
up to.

191
00:10:19.559 --> 00:10:20.259
The main road.

192
00:10:21.360 --> 00:10:25.120
And the noise, the life beacon is coming right next,

193
00:10:25.460 --> 00:10:26.980
it's coming from right next to the road.

194
00:10:28.120 --> 00:10:29.820
And as I try to find this.

195
00:10:29.720 --> 00:10:35.309
Beacon, it's a very dense, kind of off-the-beaten path as

196
00:10:35.350 --> 00:10:38.149
far as the campsites go, but right next to the

197
00:10:38.190 --> 00:10:39.970
main road. And I'm getting closer to it.

198
00:10:40.090 --> 00:10:40.669
My dog.

199
00:10:41.409 --> 00:10:45.389
At the time, he was probably a 10-month-old Belgian Malinois.

200
00:10:45.409 --> 00:10:48.129
He picked up on nothing. He's having a good time.

201
00:10:48.190 --> 00:10:51.250
He's out there sniffing around. But when I get really close,

202
00:10:51.610 --> 00:10:55.629
I decide to get high ground and backtrack a little bit,

203
00:10:55.669 --> 00:10:58.070
get on the main road and.

204
00:10:58.009 --> 00:10:59.750
Look down at whatever this is.

205
00:11:00.529 --> 00:11:04.590
And as I get up there, it's so dense that

206
00:11:04.669 --> 00:11:09.340
I can't. sea and it's getting darker so I decide

207
00:11:09.360 --> 00:11:10.080
I just get.

208
00:11:09.919 --> 00:11:11.769
The feeling that I need to go down to my

209
00:11:11.809 --> 00:11:12.269
truck I.

210
00:11:12.370 --> 00:11:15.070
Have a high powered flashlight and I want to get

211
00:11:15.129 --> 00:11:19.710
my handgun so it's probably a 5 to 10 minute

212
00:11:19.750 --> 00:11:21.750
walk to get down and back up and I get

213
00:11:21.830 --> 00:11:23.830
back to that exact same spot.

214
00:11:23.590 --> 00:11:25.389
And I swear as soon as I let my foot

215
00:11:25.450 --> 00:11:27.450
down and I'm right there the.

216
00:11:28.909 --> 00:11:32.139
Life beacon and I didn't hear it where I'm looking

217
00:11:32.179 --> 00:11:34.419
where it was the life beacon is now behind me

218
00:11:35.669 --> 00:11:45.269
across the road and possibly 50 50 yards away now

219
00:11:46.029 --> 00:11:48.549
this gets a little weird because there's a campsite over

220
00:11:48.590 --> 00:11:51.649
there that was overgrown i mean no one had gone

221
00:11:51.669 --> 00:11:54.100
through there there was a massive like ditch i had

222
00:11:54.129 --> 00:11:56.639
to go through to camp over there and the only

223
00:11:56.659 --> 00:11:59.159
reason why i camped over there is because during the

224
00:11:59.220 --> 00:12:03.240
summer the river spots were were full So I'd go

225
00:12:03.279 --> 00:12:05.990
camp over there. And honestly, I got there and I

226
00:12:06.019 --> 00:12:11.610
got weird vibes. There were probably six to eight trees

227
00:12:11.789 --> 00:12:17.539
bent over the trail. One was snapped at about 12 foot.

228
00:12:19.000 --> 00:12:20.679
And it's just strange because you.

229
00:12:20.580 --> 00:12:23.419
Would have to like tie these trees off in some

230
00:12:23.460 --> 00:12:24.059
type of way.

231
00:12:25.129 --> 00:12:27.019
And this trail was just kind of covered.

232
00:12:27.480 --> 00:12:30.500
When I camped there, my dog would bring me antlers

233
00:12:30.639 --> 00:12:33.460
and like femur bones. Like he would keep bringing me bones.

234
00:12:33.480 --> 00:12:35.899
He would go off into the wilderness and find stuff.

235
00:12:36.820 --> 00:12:40.549
I heard a wood knock out there. At night, my

236
00:12:40.590 --> 00:12:44.429
dog would lose his mind. Something would be outside of

237
00:12:44.509 --> 00:12:48.549
our camper. I tried to hike past the bent trees

238
00:12:49.490 --> 00:12:50.570
and I just got.

239
00:12:50.409 --> 00:12:53.179
Really bad vibes. And I was like, no, I'm not

240
00:12:53.240 --> 00:12:56.580
going up this way. I'm not doing it. So I

241
00:12:56.600 --> 00:13:00.860
already had this weird history of this campsite. And now the.

242
00:13:00.830 --> 00:13:05.289
Beeping or the life beacon is coming from over there.

243
00:13:05.309 --> 00:13:07.970
And I do want to say that when I first

244
00:13:08.070 --> 00:13:12.750
heard this life beacon, I was recognizing the pattern shifting.

245
00:13:13.269 --> 00:13:17.250
It sounded so mechanical and real, but once in a

246
00:13:17.289 --> 00:13:19.049
blue moon, it sounded like a bird.

247
00:13:20.230 --> 00:13:22.090
Once in a blue moon, it would.

248
00:13:22.009 --> 00:13:26.120
Like beep for 20 seconds, off for 20 seconds. beat

249
00:13:26.159 --> 00:13:28.789
for 20 seconds, all for 20 seconds, but I was

250
00:13:28.850 --> 00:13:33.009
just recognizing slight changes in the patterns. So at this point,

251
00:13:33.070 --> 00:13:35.409
now that I'm hearing this beat over here in this

252
00:13:35.570 --> 00:13:39.620
area that I already got weird vibes and wood knocks,

253
00:13:39.799 --> 00:13:42.220
and I even saw something one morning when I pulled

254
00:13:42.299 --> 00:13:44.159
out of there, I assumed it was the butt of

255
00:13:44.220 --> 00:13:48.080
a moose. If not, it was the shoulder of something big.

256
00:13:48.929 --> 00:13:52.129
and it just stepped out of the way anyways that

257
00:13:52.190 --> 00:13:55.340
that area i just had all these weird weird things

258
00:13:55.399 --> 00:13:59.059
happen and then like i said those i was recognizing

259
00:13:59.139 --> 00:14:03.120
patterns being off so i'm getting over to this campsite

260
00:14:03.240 --> 00:14:07.179
right where the trees are bent over and the the

261
00:14:07.299 --> 00:14:10.759
life beacon is right on the other side and i

262
00:14:11.360 --> 00:14:15.169
decide that this isn't worth it anymore i'm like this

263
00:14:15.269 --> 00:14:19.429
is this is too weird i think um I'm cool

264
00:14:19.470 --> 00:14:23.820
with my adventures and trying to save somebody. I guess

265
00:14:23.860 --> 00:14:27.620
no longer seems like someone's in need of help. It's

266
00:14:27.659 --> 00:14:30.000
getting too weird. And I decided to walk back. So

267
00:14:30.059 --> 00:14:32.519
now I come down this little trail in this campsite.

268
00:14:32.639 --> 00:14:37.669
I get back on the main road, walk down 20 yards.

269
00:14:37.750 --> 00:14:39.970
Not far. And then boom, I bank a right.

270
00:14:40.289 --> 00:14:42.870
And then I go down this path and I get

271
00:14:42.909 --> 00:14:48.809
down to that campsite. And then you take a right to.

272
00:14:47.240 --> 00:14:48.519
Access the other campsites.

273
00:14:49.240 --> 00:14:51.850
As soon as I take that right, I swear to you,

274
00:14:51.899 --> 00:14:56.169
to my left, across the campsite that I'm turning away

275
00:14:56.250 --> 00:14:58.889
from in those woods, I'm hearing the life beacon.

276
00:14:59.789 --> 00:15:03.289
So I, in my mind, I.

277
00:15:03.230 --> 00:15:07.059
Went from tracking something to now something's tracking me. And

278
00:15:07.120 --> 00:15:11.600
it's letting me know that it's tracking me. And I'm

279
00:15:11.639 --> 00:15:13.320
still a good little ways from my camper.

280
00:15:13.360 --> 00:15:14.360
I keep walking.

281
00:15:14.419 --> 00:15:17.419
My gun's on my hip. And my dog this whole

282
00:15:17.480 --> 00:15:22.169
time hasn't. picked up on anything i'm blown away at

283
00:15:22.210 --> 00:15:24.500
this point because how is he not picking up on

284
00:15:24.549 --> 00:15:28.220
this he is young but he actually saved us from

285
00:15:28.379 --> 00:15:31.759
a mountain lion that was stalking us so i have

286
00:15:31.820 --> 00:15:34.480
faith in him it's kind of crazy he never picked

287
00:15:34.519 --> 00:15:37.519
up on anything but anyways i get down to my

288
00:15:37.710 --> 00:15:40.509
my truck camper and i'm my mind i'm like no

289
00:15:40.549 --> 00:15:45.090
it might just oh well you just relax watch a

290
00:15:45.129 --> 00:15:47.190
movie And we'll.

291
00:15:47.049 --> 00:15:49.220
Go to bed. And I laid down.

292
00:15:49.779 --> 00:15:54.179
Within five minutes, I heard a scream, holler. I mean,

293
00:15:54.240 --> 00:15:57.620
it was like a hoot. My first thought was an owl.

294
00:15:58.440 --> 00:16:04.950
But it was like a hoot, holler, scream. I don't

295
00:16:05.009 --> 00:16:08.909
even know. And it trickled down. It got really loud.

296
00:16:09.490 --> 00:16:13.539
And then it trickled down to a growl. I've been

297
00:16:13.580 --> 00:16:18.220
near alligators, like at that Palmetto State Park in Louisiana.

298
00:16:18.240 --> 00:16:22.659
I went into primitive camping. I heard alligators, and they

299
00:16:22.700 --> 00:16:28.080
sound like lions. I mean, my dog was shaking during that, too.

300
00:16:28.179 --> 00:16:33.549
I mean, they have a depth that just, you can

301
00:16:33.629 --> 00:16:39.289
feel it. And it was the same thing with this holler,

302
00:16:39.350 --> 00:16:45.799
this hoot, whatever created this noise. was massive, absolutely massive.

303
00:16:45.940 --> 00:16:47.600
And it happened twice.

304
00:16:48.399 --> 00:16:50.820
I don't know if it was two separate ones because

305
00:16:50.860 --> 00:16:54.529
the second one wasn't as loud, but it was close.

306
00:16:56.090 --> 00:16:57.909
And it was the exact same. It was a hoop.

307
00:16:58.129 --> 00:16:58.950
It was a holler.

308
00:16:58.970 --> 00:17:04.970
And it just slowly worked its way down to this growl.

309
00:17:05.569 --> 00:17:08.930
And I can't imagine it was more than 40 yards away.

310
00:17:09.730 --> 00:17:11.890
I'm not going to lie, I want to meet Bigfoot.

311
00:17:12.089 --> 00:17:13.309
I really think it'd be cool.

312
00:17:13.569 --> 00:17:15.650
At the same time, if I do that, I want

313
00:17:15.670 --> 00:17:19.579
to be fully prepared because I assume there's good ones.

314
00:17:19.539 --> 00:17:23.799
And bad ones. And it's not worth dying over, but

315
00:17:24.119 --> 00:17:25.619
I think it'd be really cool.

316
00:17:25.680 --> 00:17:27.839
I would like to meet him, but that night, I'll

317
00:17:27.880 --> 00:17:31.500
tell you what, I didn't have my night vision and

318
00:17:31.579 --> 00:17:34.559
I didn't have anything that was large as far as

319
00:17:34.619 --> 00:17:35.220
weapons go.

320
00:17:36.039 --> 00:17:38.269
I had a.

321
00:17:37.740 --> 00:17:41.819
357 Magnum revolver and a lever action.

322
00:17:42.319 --> 00:17:43.920
And I just, I don't know.

323
00:17:44.859 --> 00:17:47.200
If I can't see you and I don't feel like

324
00:17:47.289 --> 00:17:49.329
I can defend myself, I didn't want to go out there.

325
00:17:49.349 --> 00:17:53.490
I actually decided to leave. And I had to go

326
00:17:53.509 --> 00:17:55.990
through the woods and find my dog's toys.

327
00:17:56.029 --> 00:17:59.279
He left everywhere. That wasn't comfortable, but I got everything.

328
00:17:59.339 --> 00:18:00.980
I got out of there and I went to Walmart.

329
00:18:01.819 --> 00:18:04.279
To be honest with you, I didn't want to, I

330
00:18:04.319 --> 00:18:06.240
didn't feel like they were out to get me. I mean,

331
00:18:06.319 --> 00:18:09.460
obviously they could have, if they are intelligent and they

332
00:18:09.500 --> 00:18:11.859
wanted me to leave, that was probably the best way

333
00:18:11.900 --> 00:18:16.430
to do it. And I will say one last thing

334
00:18:16.470 --> 00:18:19.430
that I'm going to end that story. That was Northern Idaho.

335
00:18:20.170 --> 00:18:23.170
But I will say about 10 miles from there, I

336
00:18:23.230 --> 00:18:26.390
did a work to live on a guy's property for

337
00:18:26.390 --> 00:18:28.609
40 years. And I don't know if this has anything

338
00:18:28.630 --> 00:18:30.869
to do with Bigfoot, but I just want to share

339
00:18:30.890 --> 00:18:36.059
it because if anyone else has experienced this, it's very strange.

340
00:18:36.359 --> 00:18:38.859
But he had a really cool piece of property, 40 acres,

341
00:18:38.880 --> 00:18:40.400
probably five acres down at.

342
00:18:40.380 --> 00:18:42.220
The bottom that were flat. And then it was all

343
00:18:42.279 --> 00:18:44.099
kind of mountainy.

344
00:18:44.160 --> 00:18:46.579
There was a little pond up top and he had

345
00:18:46.640 --> 00:18:50.210
little campsites all over the place and I'm in this

346
00:18:50.269 --> 00:18:53.970
place and I'm building a fire and I heard something

347
00:18:54.089 --> 00:18:55.069
run behind me.

348
00:18:57.079 --> 00:19:01.119
It was right behind me. And I turned and nothing

349
00:19:01.160 --> 00:19:01.640
was there.

350
00:19:01.660 --> 00:19:05.279
It's probably one of the only times in my life

351
00:19:05.339 --> 00:19:09.740
I questioned like my sanity because it seemed so real.

352
00:19:10.079 --> 00:19:12.440
And I looked at my dog and he didn't pick

353
00:19:12.519 --> 00:19:16.019
up on it, but Belgium's are crazy. He wants to

354
00:19:16.059 --> 00:19:18.700
chew sticks, set it on fire. He was so into

355
00:19:18.740 --> 00:19:22.359
the fire. I wasn't too surprised, but then I heard

356
00:19:22.420 --> 00:19:26.640
a growl. I heard something growl at me. And the

357
00:19:26.700 --> 00:19:29.519
funny thing is, me and my dog both looked in

358
00:19:29.599 --> 00:19:32.799
the direction of the growl. We both looked at each other,

359
00:19:32.819 --> 00:19:37.140
and then we both looked in the direction. So I

360
00:19:37.200 --> 00:19:40.750
realized that I wasn't crazy, and this area of this

361
00:19:40.829 --> 00:19:44.430
property had thinned out. So there was really no place

362
00:19:44.450 --> 00:19:48.890
to hide. I mean, it wasn't thick, like national forest.

363
00:19:49.250 --> 00:19:50.940
So I'm just throwing that out there. I don't know if.

364
00:19:50.920 --> 00:19:54.880
Anyone else has experienced anything like that, but something ran

365
00:19:54.940 --> 00:19:56.059
behind me, man.

366
00:19:56.279 --> 00:19:59.200
And then. Not far in front of us.

367
00:19:59.220 --> 00:20:02.339
I mean, if I had to guess, it was close, 20,

368
00:20:02.339 --> 00:20:05.609
30 yards. I heard it growl, and my dog picked

369
00:20:05.670 --> 00:20:09.490
up on that one. But anyways, those are experiences I have, Jeremiah.

370
00:20:09.769 --> 00:20:14.039
I hope that helps others, and I think everybody should share.

371
00:20:15.819 --> 00:20:19.420
Jason, thank you. Thank you for sharing those. It's really

372
00:20:19.519 --> 00:20:24.220
interesting stuff. And the one, man, I'll tell you, like

373
00:20:24.240 --> 00:20:29.210
the Sandpoint, Idaho, When you were experiencing the life beacon

374
00:20:29.769 --> 00:20:35.230
beeping noises from the woods, there's really a pattern. Because

375
00:20:35.250 --> 00:20:38.519
it feels like, well, I'll ask you, do you feel

376
00:20:38.559 --> 00:20:40.579
like it may have been trying to get you to

377
00:20:40.640 --> 00:20:43.579
go further in the woods to try to figure out

378
00:20:43.880 --> 00:20:46.319
what was going on with that noise?

379
00:20:48.829 --> 00:20:54.529
So there are two thought processes here. The one is, yeah.

380
00:20:56.539 --> 00:21:00.349
I mean, you can imagine if a Bigfoot ever saw

381
00:21:00.630 --> 00:21:04.329
an injured hiker that had a beacon on it that

382
00:21:04.390 --> 00:21:09.089
was beeping and then saw other humans show up to

383
00:21:09.170 --> 00:21:10.849
save that injured.

384
00:21:10.950 --> 00:21:13.190
Human, they would mimic that.

385
00:21:13.609 --> 00:21:17.640
And I've heard them mimicking screaming children and that would

386
00:21:17.680 --> 00:21:24.960
draw a human immediately. It seems a bit strange because

387
00:21:25.099 --> 00:21:28.839
on that second beacon noise, it was drawing me away

388
00:21:28.880 --> 00:21:33.339
from my camper. It was drawing me farther away, which

389
00:21:33.400 --> 00:21:39.680
would lead me to believe ill intent. But what's strange is,

390
00:21:41.680 --> 00:21:46.890
why wouldn't it, why would they make the move? I mean,

391
00:21:46.910 --> 00:21:48.589
I guess I got the gun, but I didn't have

392
00:21:48.609 --> 00:21:51.299
the gun at first. There's no one out there. It's

393
00:21:51.359 --> 00:21:52.079
just me.

394
00:21:53.359 --> 00:21:54.420
They're intelligent.

395
00:21:55.509 --> 00:21:59.869
I would assume they're intelligent enough that they know they

396
00:21:59.890 --> 00:22:01.250
can overpower me.

397
00:22:03.630 --> 00:22:07.049
It's a weird scenario.

398
00:22:07.869 --> 00:22:10.369
Because then at the end of the day, the growl.

399
00:22:11.529 --> 00:22:17.480
It almost seems like intelligent enough to mess with your mind.

400
00:22:18.210 --> 00:22:19.460
Would they have drawn me out there?

401
00:22:19.539 --> 00:22:22.619
Okay, so I've got another part of this story that

402
00:22:22.640 --> 00:22:27.240
I didn't share. So I moved from Sandpoint to Big Sky, Montana,

403
00:22:27.799 --> 00:22:29.920
and these boys out here live in the woods.

404
00:22:30.000 --> 00:22:35.240
I mean, it's big. My one buddy, he's a Marine.

405
00:22:35.269 --> 00:22:41.009
He even worked for the Blackwater Mercenary, whatever, blah, blah, blah.

406
00:22:41.690 --> 00:22:46.880
He does hunting stuff. He goes all over the world

407
00:22:47.079 --> 00:22:49.000
in films, guys, hunting.

408
00:22:49.019 --> 00:22:52.119
And then him and a local good old boy that

409
00:22:52.160 --> 00:22:55.579
grew up here in these woods were out hunting one day.

410
00:22:55.900 --> 00:23:00.849
And they said, I'm sharing my story. And this is separate.

411
00:23:00.890 --> 00:23:02.789
I shared my story with both of them. They didn't

412
00:23:02.849 --> 00:23:05.569
know about me or my story. And they both said

413
00:23:05.609 --> 00:23:09.089
the same thing to me because they were together, that

414
00:23:09.130 --> 00:23:11.869
they heard the same thing. They said they followed a

415
00:23:11.920 --> 00:23:14.769
life beacon for like two or three hours.

416
00:23:16.630 --> 00:23:19.549
When I told them that I heard this, they were like, yeah,

417
00:23:19.670 --> 00:23:20.789
we've heard it in the woods too.

418
00:23:20.930 --> 00:23:23.049
And I was like, no way. I was like, it

419
00:23:23.089 --> 00:23:26.750
sounded mechanical. It sounded like a buoy, like a life

420
00:23:26.789 --> 00:23:29.589
beacon or something. Like it sounded mechanical. And they were

421
00:23:29.630 --> 00:23:32.829
like a hundred percent. And it would go in intervals

422
00:23:33.109 --> 00:23:34.930
and we followed it for hours.

423
00:23:36.549 --> 00:23:39.299
So yeah, That leads me to believe.

424
00:23:38.960 --> 00:23:43.000
That it wasn't ill intent and maybe it's just this

425
00:23:43.079 --> 00:23:46.119
kind of like game for them or kind of like

426
00:23:46.160 --> 00:23:50.000
a mind thing. And then the fact they growled.

427
00:23:50.759 --> 00:23:53.470
So I know that they were there. It seemed more.

428
00:23:54.109 --> 00:23:58.130
The vibe to me was we'd appreciate it if you left.

429
00:23:59.190 --> 00:24:00.410
We'll draw you out of here.

430
00:24:00.849 --> 00:24:03.930
We'll make you walk 10 miles following this noise to

431
00:24:03.970 --> 00:24:04.670
get you out of here.

432
00:24:05.720 --> 00:24:08.450
Or it will growl, scare you out of here, whatever.

433
00:24:09.049 --> 00:24:11.430
But that's another part of the story that's kind of weird.

434
00:24:11.809 --> 00:24:15.769
Coming to Montana, I'm six hours away, six, seven hours

435
00:24:15.829 --> 00:24:19.789
away from Sandpoint, and hunters heard the same thing and

436
00:24:19.829 --> 00:24:21.329
followed it for hours.

437
00:24:23.799 --> 00:24:25.200
Yeah.

438
00:24:25.380 --> 00:24:31.390
That's even more interesting, and it's definitely a— a thing

439
00:24:31.490 --> 00:24:34.740
where if I think back through all the interviews I've done,

440
00:24:34.819 --> 00:24:39.420
there are definitely different accounts where a person will be

441
00:24:39.519 --> 00:24:44.599
lured somewhere by the voice of their boyfriend or another

442
00:24:44.640 --> 00:24:49.200
person's voice or a pet. There was one, actually, this

443
00:24:49.240 --> 00:24:52.119
is in Northern Idaho as well, where a pet was,

444
00:24:52.339 --> 00:24:55.200
they were trying to lure a pet into the woods by,

445
00:24:55.220 --> 00:24:59.640
it was either the voice of the owner or or

446
00:24:59.819 --> 00:25:02.240
someone else the pet would have known. That was a

447
00:25:02.369 --> 00:25:05.089
really weird one. Then you have like the old stories

448
00:25:05.509 --> 00:25:08.009
of hearing the baby cries in the woods, right? And

449
00:25:08.029 --> 00:25:10.490
you hear a lot of those actually in Southeast Alaska.

450
00:25:10.569 --> 00:25:12.369
So maybe watch out for that when you're up there

451
00:25:13.170 --> 00:25:18.009
where you'll hear baby cries and it's them supposedly trying

452
00:25:18.049 --> 00:25:22.990
to lure females into the woods to look for what's

453
00:25:23.039 --> 00:25:26.559
causing the baby crying in the woods. And it's just,

454
00:25:26.640 --> 00:25:30.569
it's a very interesting and, and, This may even be

455
00:25:30.630 --> 00:25:35.470
the newest iteration. This this life beacon noise. That's just

456
00:25:35.509 --> 00:25:38.210
so weird that it was experienced in two different areas

457
00:25:38.250 --> 00:25:38.849
of the country.

458
00:25:38.869 --> 00:25:42.509
Now, have you ever heard the life beacon?

459
00:25:42.609 --> 00:25:43.309
No, no.

460
00:25:43.349 --> 00:25:45.849
This is the first time. And I really hope that

461
00:25:46.069 --> 00:25:50.730
if other listeners have experienced that, that they would also

462
00:25:51.009 --> 00:25:53.150
reach out maybe in the comments or email if you

463
00:25:53.190 --> 00:25:55.710
need to. But that is just it is so weird.

464
00:25:57.589 --> 00:25:59.950
Yeah and it's funny how you say it's like the

465
00:25:59.990 --> 00:26:05.250
new iteration because as technology grows it's almost as if

466
00:26:05.329 --> 00:26:09.740
they're adapting to you know our ways our technology i

467
00:26:09.779 --> 00:26:14.279
was blown away when these boys and like the reason

468
00:26:14.319 --> 00:26:17.569
why i believe them because people are you know people

469
00:26:17.640 --> 00:26:19.789
play with you but the reason why i believe them

470
00:26:19.829 --> 00:26:24.000
was because i met these dudes you know, at different times,

471
00:26:24.059 --> 00:26:27.680
different places. And they didn't even know, like they were

472
00:26:27.740 --> 00:26:31.240
talking as if I didn't know the other guy. They're like, yeah,

473
00:26:31.279 --> 00:26:34.670
my buddy Logan or whatever, you know, my buddy. And

474
00:26:34.730 --> 00:26:37.650
I'm like, yeah, he already told me the story. I'm like, that,

475
00:26:37.670 --> 00:26:40.589
that was real. I was like, y'all are, you're being real.

476
00:26:40.609 --> 00:26:43.950
He's like, dude, we followed it for hours. He's like,

477
00:26:43.970 --> 00:26:46.759
it just, it stayed the same distance from us. It

478
00:26:46.859 --> 00:26:49.359
always sounded the same distance from us.

479
00:26:50.200 --> 00:26:53.700
And we're out hunting. He's like, dude, we're game. We're

480
00:26:53.759 --> 00:26:56.119
out there. And we just kept going.

481
00:26:56.519 --> 00:26:59.690
And eventually we stopped, and we're like, okay, we're going

482
00:26:59.710 --> 00:27:02.490
to head back. But it kind of makes sense.

483
00:27:02.930 --> 00:27:05.630
It's interesting. I hope I– I don't know.

484
00:27:05.650 --> 00:27:07.869
Maybe you can clarify this, but I heard the ones

485
00:27:07.950 --> 00:27:09.930
in Alaska were bigger and meaner.

486
00:27:10.710 --> 00:27:12.190
Has that been the norm?

487
00:27:13.049 --> 00:27:17.309
So regarding– Alaska. So there's this thing called the Bergman's

488
00:27:17.349 --> 00:27:20.349
rule where the further away from the equator you get,

489
00:27:20.369 --> 00:27:24.980
the larger. the things are, the creatures are going to be.

490
00:27:25.279 --> 00:27:28.640
And that's why just things are bigger up there, right?

491
00:27:28.759 --> 00:27:31.849
Or you look at down by Florida, the skunk apes

492
00:27:31.900 --> 00:27:35.410
are smaller, right? Because it's closer to the equator. And yeah,

493
00:27:35.769 --> 00:27:38.990
you're correct. You have reports up there in Alaska of

494
00:27:39.029 --> 00:27:43.269
them being extremely large, but then you also have areas

495
00:27:43.349 --> 00:27:46.750
like Prince of Wales Island, which is in Southeast Alaska,

496
00:27:46.809 --> 00:27:52.880
where there's reports of four-toed ones that and there's clans

497
00:27:53.000 --> 00:27:56.420
on the island where the people that live there, they

498
00:27:56.480 --> 00:28:02.519
think that pretty much four-toed ones are stealing people. They're

499
00:28:02.559 --> 00:28:06.200
the reason that people are disappearing on the island, and

500
00:28:06.240 --> 00:28:10.140
they're just extremely aggressive. So, yeah, I would definitely agree

501
00:28:10.160 --> 00:28:12.349
with that. That matches up with what I've heard from

502
00:28:12.400 --> 00:28:14.190
different sources over the years.

503
00:28:16.349 --> 00:28:20.690
That's interesting. So, yeah, I plan— And the light changes

504
00:28:20.809 --> 00:28:22.799
up there to where it gets dark for months.

505
00:28:23.039 --> 00:28:25.259
And so I plan on setting up a lot of

506
00:28:25.400 --> 00:28:31.720
lights and cameras and I will be prepared to defend myself.

507
00:28:31.779 --> 00:28:34.910
But like my goal is to try to make contact.

508
00:28:34.950 --> 00:28:37.829
Not sure how that works and if it's just like

509
00:28:38.009 --> 00:28:39.329
offering up of food.

510
00:28:40.130 --> 00:28:43.549
I plan on having at least two to three dogs.

511
00:28:44.539 --> 00:28:47.279
So I don't, I don't want to come off aggressive,

512
00:28:47.339 --> 00:28:49.519
but at the same time, I want to be prepared

513
00:28:49.619 --> 00:28:50.240
for anything.

514
00:28:51.180 --> 00:28:52.839
But I do have.

515
00:28:52.680 --> 00:28:56.960
This part of me that wants to kind of engage when,

516
00:28:57.160 --> 00:29:01.569
and I don't, I don't, I hope that they're like

517
00:29:01.670 --> 00:29:05.029
most other animals. And the reason why I've been contacted

518
00:29:05.089 --> 00:29:08.380
or I've had these experiences, like I, I tell people,

519
00:29:08.440 --> 00:29:12.000
I joke, the Bigfoot down there in Louisiana was like,

520
00:29:12.039 --> 00:29:15.640
look at this human, like out here fishing for catfish

521
00:29:15.769 --> 00:29:17.609
and building fires every night.

522
00:29:17.750 --> 00:29:23.470
Like maybe he's cool. Right. I'm also someone that's.

523
00:29:23.230 --> 00:29:27.160
Had a very weird relationship with animals my entire life,

524
00:29:27.259 --> 00:29:31.279
even bugs. Dude, I've had butterflies like land on me.

525
00:29:32.849 --> 00:29:34.869
For like 30, 45 minutes. And I've had witnesses and

526
00:29:34.910 --> 00:29:37.970
they will like fight everything that comes near me.

527
00:29:38.150 --> 00:29:39.849
A butterfly will attack.

528
00:29:40.480 --> 00:29:44.299
Every little other butterfly or fly or bee that comes

529
00:29:44.359 --> 00:29:46.920
near me and then come back and like land on

530
00:29:46.960 --> 00:29:51.230
me and start dancing. I've had carpenter bees, the big ones,

531
00:29:51.970 --> 00:29:54.470
multiple times. They'll come right in front of my face,

532
00:29:54.549 --> 00:29:56.930
like maybe six to eight inches in front of my

533
00:29:56.970 --> 00:30:00.369
face and just hang out there. and I'll start talking

534
00:30:00.410 --> 00:30:03.579
to them, and then they'll start, like, the exact same

535
00:30:03.630 --> 00:30:07.319
thing as the butterfly. Anything gets near me, they'll start

536
00:30:07.500 --> 00:30:11.059
attacking it and protecting me. I've had them protect me

537
00:30:11.200 --> 00:30:15.339
from hornets and wasps when I'm doing, like, remodeling on roofs.

538
00:30:15.359 --> 00:30:16.740
I mean, it's crazy.

539
00:30:17.240 --> 00:30:20.480
Dogs that don't like anybody like me. I've had deer

540
00:30:20.519 --> 00:30:22.039
come up to me. I mean, I've just had this

541
00:30:22.839 --> 00:30:26.299
natural thing with me. I don't know what it is,

542
00:30:26.359 --> 00:30:31.650
and maybe that's why... the Bigfoot or whatever's happening with me.

543
00:30:31.910 --> 00:30:34.799
Maybe that's why they're intrigued with me.

544
00:30:35.000 --> 00:30:38.299
Maybe I'm on a vibe that they animals and nature

545
00:30:38.359 --> 00:30:41.059
vibe with. So I'm hoping I have good relations, but.

546
00:30:41.039 --> 00:30:43.700
I really would like to, I am going to try

547
00:30:43.799 --> 00:30:47.309
to connect with them. If I'm in Alaska and I'm

548
00:30:47.349 --> 00:30:50.210
way out there, I'm going to do my best and.

549
00:30:50.329 --> 00:30:51.390
I don't want to harm them.

550
00:30:51.609 --> 00:30:54.410
I hope they don't want to harm me. But this,

551
00:30:54.569 --> 00:30:58.680
this subject is fascinating. I think there's, the world's much

552
00:30:58.759 --> 00:31:02.279
bigger than society and the phones and.

553
00:31:02.240 --> 00:31:06.269
The TV and everything that we live within. But yeah.

554
00:31:06.690 --> 00:31:09.910
Something that I will, I'll bring up and I don't know,

555
00:31:09.970 --> 00:31:12.890
you may have a specific area in Alaska already, but

556
00:31:13.529 --> 00:31:16.069
there's a channel that might be interesting to you if

557
00:31:16.089 --> 00:31:18.630
you haven't found it yet. It's a Fred from sub

558
00:31:18.710 --> 00:31:23.240
Arctic Alaska Sasquatch. And his thing is that he just

559
00:31:24.079 --> 00:31:28.210
talks to people from Alaska and, that have had encounters

560
00:31:28.730 --> 00:31:32.619
and he shares their stories on his channel. It's fascinating stuff,

561
00:31:32.640 --> 00:31:35.539
but he's probably the best resource we have right now

562
00:31:35.660 --> 00:31:38.289
for Alaska in general. And the thing is, if you

563
00:31:38.329 --> 00:31:41.789
go to his website, there is a, map where he

564
00:31:41.849 --> 00:31:44.519
has everything mapped out all the interviews he's ever done

565
00:31:44.619 --> 00:31:46.920
and so you can see you can really see the

566
00:31:46.980 --> 00:31:51.099
parts of Alaska based on his interviews where there is

567
00:31:51.180 --> 00:31:54.460
a ton of activity and he might even be a

568
00:31:54.500 --> 00:31:58.279
good individual to reach out to but definitely a good

569
00:31:58.319 --> 00:32:00.339
place to start there would be that channel.

570
00:32:01.759 --> 00:32:04.160
That's cool do you know what part of Alaska he's.

571
00:32:04.059 --> 00:32:10.470
In Dillingham I believe Dillingham I'll.

572
00:32:10.269 --> 00:32:13.069
Have to check it out. I'm heading north.

573
00:32:13.569 --> 00:32:18.670
I went commercial salmon fishing two summers ago up there.

574
00:32:18.690 --> 00:32:22.680
I was all over the southeast. Oh, my God. Every

575
00:32:22.740 --> 00:32:25.579
human being on the planet needs to go to Alaska.

576
00:32:26.180 --> 00:32:30.460
It's just a different world. It's absolutely beautiful. It was

577
00:32:30.500 --> 00:32:31.519
always a dream, but I.

578
00:32:31.440 --> 00:32:35.369
Fell in love after that. I intend on going north

579
00:32:35.490 --> 00:32:39.819
to start. And we'll see where I end up finding property.

580
00:32:39.859 --> 00:32:43.019
I got a realtor sending me property listings now. So

581
00:32:43.559 --> 00:32:45.839
trying to hone in on it. But I'm moving up

582
00:32:45.880 --> 00:32:47.259
there maybe four or five months.

583
00:32:47.359 --> 00:32:48.019
And then I want to.

584
00:32:48.000 --> 00:32:51.140
Put boots on the ground of any piece of property

585
00:32:51.200 --> 00:32:55.730
I want to get. So hopefully within the next two years,

586
00:32:55.789 --> 00:32:59.450
year and a half, we'll see. I'll have my own

587
00:32:59.470 --> 00:33:01.690
little spot. But I tell you what, I wouldn't mind

588
00:33:01.849 --> 00:33:04.569
reaching out to him. I wouldn't mind a friend up

589
00:33:04.609 --> 00:33:06.269
there with similar interests.

590
00:33:07.339 --> 00:33:10.680
Yeah, I think his contact info is on his website

591
00:33:10.720 --> 00:33:16.970
or his channel. But, man, I feel like this that

592
00:33:17.009 --> 00:33:23.190
you've just shared is just the beginning of your story, man, Jason.

593
00:33:23.390 --> 00:33:26.769
I feel like you are right at the beginning of it.

594
00:33:27.539 --> 00:33:30.579
And once you get up there, it's going to get crazy, dude.

595
00:33:31.019 --> 00:33:31.980
That's just what I'm feeling.

596
00:33:32.000 --> 00:33:32.480
Yeah.

597
00:33:33.819 --> 00:33:36.420
I think you're right. And my heart's good. And I

598
00:33:36.440 --> 00:33:38.779
feel like I don't have no intentions, which is big.

599
00:33:39.359 --> 00:33:42.559
So I'm excited. I want to meet him.

600
00:33:42.759 --> 00:33:46.700
I'm sold on the idea. I was actually sold on

601
00:33:46.779 --> 00:33:49.980
Bigfoot being real. May have been around that kind of

602
00:33:50.140 --> 00:33:53.640
Louisiana experience. But when I was doing all that research,

603
00:33:53.720 --> 00:33:56.380
I mean, a joke, one of the jokes in the

604
00:33:56.420 --> 00:33:59.380
Bigfoot community, I mean, I don't know how deep this

605
00:33:59.420 --> 00:34:03.009
joke goes, but it's like, It took them like 60,

606
00:34:03.009 --> 00:34:07.509
70 years to find a panda bear. You know, I mean,

607
00:34:07.529 --> 00:34:11.650
I watched a Bigfoot documentary and they, they talked about that.

608
00:34:11.670 --> 00:34:13.250
I mean, it took them like 60 years to find

609
00:34:13.309 --> 00:34:17.260
a panda, but it's like, this thing's intelligent, like a human,

610
00:34:17.320 --> 00:34:19.000
but it has all the talents.

611
00:34:18.619 --> 00:34:20.800
Of your dog. Dude.

612
00:34:20.980 --> 00:34:26.179
I mean, you're never going to see this thing. you're

613
00:34:26.199 --> 00:34:28.500
going to see it one in a million on accident

614
00:34:28.679 --> 00:34:31.320
or it's going to want you to see it. It's curious,

615
00:34:31.360 --> 00:34:36.369
just like you. I, I, I don't know.

616
00:34:36.769 --> 00:34:38.329
Yeah. It's just, uh.

617
00:34:39.590 --> 00:34:42.539
I agree. I mean, it's, it's a thing where, We

618
00:34:42.559 --> 00:34:46.159
don't know the abilities that it has. And if you

619
00:34:46.179 --> 00:34:48.440
look at animals that are already out there, and I'm

620
00:34:48.480 --> 00:34:50.139
not saying it's an animal, but if you're looking at

621
00:34:50.440 --> 00:34:52.840
things that are already out there, like the octopus, for example,

622
00:34:52.880 --> 00:34:55.800
just the way that it can blend in with its

623
00:34:56.179 --> 00:34:59.789
surroundings underwater, it gets in front of a rock and boom,

624
00:35:00.349 --> 00:35:03.269
it's the color of the rock in the pattern. So,

625
00:35:04.309 --> 00:35:07.429
I mean, there's weird stuff already out there that we know.

626
00:35:07.449 --> 00:35:11.230
And what's to say that this guy can't do weird

627
00:35:11.269 --> 00:35:16.619
stuff that, you know, just boggles science. So I don't know, man.

628
00:35:16.820 --> 00:35:21.489
Yeah. I'm not sold on the interdimensional deal.

629
00:35:21.809 --> 00:35:25.210
There's a lot of cool stories out there that probably

630
00:35:25.269 --> 00:35:28.530
support it, but it's not out of, out of the

631
00:35:28.590 --> 00:35:29.869
realm of possibility.

632
00:35:29.929 --> 00:35:31.449
I'm just not sold on it yet.

633
00:35:31.510 --> 00:35:34.639
But like I said, that, that moment I had with

634
00:35:34.719 --> 00:35:38.300
something ran behind me, nothing was there.

635
00:35:38.380 --> 00:35:39.820
And then I heard that growl.

636
00:35:40.099 --> 00:35:43.889
I mean, that, That just offered up something new.

637
00:35:44.260 --> 00:35:44.719
But you know what?

638
00:35:44.780 --> 00:35:48.539
At the end of the day, these things are apex predators.

639
00:35:49.039 --> 00:35:55.159
The Native Americans talked about them throughout their history. Apex

640
00:35:55.219 --> 00:35:58.320
predators don't just disappear. And if we would have killed

641
00:35:58.340 --> 00:36:01.559
them all, we would have bragged about it. So, I mean,

642
00:36:01.639 --> 00:36:04.199
like if the Native Americans know of these things and

643
00:36:04.219 --> 00:36:07.139
they were alive during their time, there's just no way

644
00:36:07.179 --> 00:36:08.139
they're not alive now.

645
00:36:08.610 --> 00:36:11.599
There's just no way. They don't just disappear.

646
00:36:11.619 --> 00:36:13.539
Like I said, if we would have killed them off,

647
00:36:13.619 --> 00:36:18.659
we would have bragged about it. I don't have any doubt,

648
00:36:18.860 --> 00:36:22.010
even before my experiences or right around that first one,

649
00:36:22.320 --> 00:36:24.409
it just doesn't make any sense. I mean, I remember

650
00:36:24.469 --> 00:36:28.710
reading something that it was in the National Forest Handbooks

651
00:36:29.130 --> 00:36:34.570
pre-1940 or 1920 or something like that. It just seems

652
00:36:34.630 --> 00:36:37.869
like there's enough evidence out there that even the government

653
00:36:37.929 --> 00:36:41.400
knows that it would make sense that the government would

654
00:36:41.480 --> 00:36:45.139
hide them at some point and deny it to protect them.

655
00:36:46.139 --> 00:36:50.579
If everyone knew Bigfoot was real, I think every, um, uh,

656
00:36:52.219 --> 00:36:54.300
I don't know how to say the word, but every,

657
00:36:54.719 --> 00:36:57.289
there'd be enough Americans with guns that would go out

658
00:36:57.329 --> 00:36:58.969
there and hunt them all year round.

659
00:36:59.010 --> 00:36:59.170
Yeah.

660
00:36:59.230 --> 00:37:00.389
It would change everything.

661
00:37:00.630 --> 00:37:01.010
Yeah.

662
00:37:01.769 --> 00:37:02.489
Yeah.

663
00:37:02.530 --> 00:37:04.820
So, I mean, it makes sense that they wouldn't admit it,

664
00:37:05.309 --> 00:37:05.550
you know?

665
00:37:06.110 --> 00:37:10.489
Hmm. It's such a fascinating topic. And I mean, I

666
00:37:10.550 --> 00:37:14.090
love it. We'll never run out of people to talk

667
00:37:14.150 --> 00:37:17.469
to because there's always people coming forward that have waited

668
00:37:17.530 --> 00:37:21.090
for years. And there's always people that are just experiencing

669
00:37:21.349 --> 00:37:25.139
things for the first time, sometimes a day before they

670
00:37:25.199 --> 00:37:29.590
reach out to me, which is just incredible. But Jason,

671
00:37:29.760 --> 00:37:33.199
it has been just a privilege to hear your stories

672
00:37:33.260 --> 00:37:35.400
and thank you for, I'm glad you were able to

673
00:37:35.480 --> 00:37:38.880
reach out after I tried to reach out to you.

674
00:37:38.900 --> 00:37:42.949
And I really hope that you're able to maybe touch

675
00:37:42.989 --> 00:37:45.829
base in a few years and really experience some cool

676
00:37:45.869 --> 00:37:47.610
things up there in Alaska.

677
00:37:50.090 --> 00:37:52.769
Yeah, man. Hey, look, I appreciate the opportunity.

678
00:37:53.250 --> 00:37:58.349
I hope everyone out there, their story and tries to

679
00:37:58.389 --> 00:38:00.449
protect them, at least the good ones.

680
00:38:00.489 --> 00:38:02.260
Right. But it was Jeremiah.

681
00:38:02.280 --> 00:38:04.719
It was nice meeting you. It was nice talking to everybody.

682
00:38:05.079 --> 00:38:07.400
And you take care. And I wish everybody the best.

683
00:38:07.619 --> 00:38:10.039
