Something Followed Him for 20 Years in the New Hampshire Woods

Something Followed Him for 20 Years in the New Hampshire Woods

For more than 20 years, the same patch of woods in Southern New Hampshire kept responding to one man’s presence.

Near the Pelham, Windham, and Hudson area—just minutes from Nashua and the Massachusetts border—an experienced outdoorsman began noticing things that didn’t add up. A silent figure in the road at dusk. Woods that went unnaturally quiet. Heavy footsteps where no one should be. Strange odors, impossible footprints, objects thrown with force, and lights moving through the trees where no one was standing.

These weren’t isolated moments. They happened again and again, always in the same places: hunting trails, ponds, rock walls, and deep forest edges surrounded by towns and neighborhoods.

In this episode of Bigfoot Society, Doc shares his full account for the first time—how it started, what followed, and why it took decades before the pattern finally made sense.

If you think activity like this only happens far from civilization, listen closely.

Some woods remember you.

00:00:12.960 --> 00:00:16.719
quiet farms and crowded highways. The stories come from everywhere,

6
00:00:16.760 --> 00:00:19.719
and each one leaves us with more questions than answers.

7
00:00:20.719 --> 00:00:24.000

00:00:32.600 --> 00:00:36.479
episode of Bigfoot Society. We've got a new friend on

12
00:00:36.520 --> 00:00:39.640
the show today. We've got Doc with us. Doc as

13
00:00:39.640 --> 00:00:43.320
an outdoorsman. We don't get too many New Hampshire people

14
00:00:43.479 --> 00:00:46.960
on the Show's always a privilege to have those individuals on.

15
00:00:47.240 --> 00:00:50.799
I grew up very close to New Hampshire, just over

16
00:00:50.840 --> 00:00:53.520
the mass line in a small town called Northfield and

17
00:00:53.560 --> 00:00:56.640
Western mass so I'm very familiar with New Hampshire and

18
00:00:56.679 --> 00:01:00.200
how it's just a beautiful, beautiful country up there. As

19
00:01:01.479 --> 00:01:04.079
listeners from New Hampshire have it a very nice up there,

20
00:01:05.359 --> 00:01:06.280
and the tax.

21
00:01:06.280 --> 00:01:08.000
So yeah, beautiful.

22
00:01:08.200 --> 00:01:11.400
It is a fun time, absolutely, But Doc, you're on

23
00:01:11.439 --> 00:01:15.159
the show to share some interesting things that you've experienced

24
00:01:15.840 --> 00:01:18.079
over the years, so I want to make sure that

25
00:01:18.159 --> 00:01:20.560
you have the time to do that. So you know,

26
00:01:20.599 --> 00:01:24.760
welcome to the show and feel free to share what

27
00:01:24.799 --> 00:01:27.079
you've experienced, all right.

28
00:01:27.159 --> 00:01:33.560
So yeah, and avid outdoorsman always have been hiking, fishing, hunting, hiking,

29
00:01:34.280 --> 00:01:38.439
you know, nearby trails and mountainous areas, so I'm pretty

30
00:01:38.439 --> 00:01:45.560
familiar with the woods. And to begin my story, I

31
00:01:45.680 --> 00:01:50.079
was heading home from work one one early evening. It

32
00:01:50.159 --> 00:01:54.920
was still light out but just about dusk, and it's

33
00:01:55.439 --> 00:01:59.640
and it's snowing. I come up over this rise and

34
00:01:59.760 --> 00:02:04.000
right for a sharp corner, there's this what I thought

35
00:02:04.200 --> 00:02:06.680
was a person in the middle of the road, just

36
00:02:06.760 --> 00:02:13.560
past the center line in my lane and with his

37
00:02:13.680 --> 00:02:18.599
back kind of just kind of towards away from me,

38
00:02:20.719 --> 00:02:23.400
back towards me, and he was looking away from me.

39
00:02:25.039 --> 00:02:28.000
So I come over the rise and I slam on

40
00:02:28.120 --> 00:02:32.840
my brakes and as I'm skidding around trying to avoid

41
00:02:32.879 --> 00:02:37.400
this person, I stopped right next to it, right next

42
00:02:37.439 --> 00:02:41.479
to him, and that's when I realized that it wasn't

43
00:02:41.560 --> 00:02:45.639
a fur coat. And there was no other clothing visible,

44
00:02:46.879 --> 00:02:52.800
no shoes, And that's just what I remember from from

45
00:02:52.840 --> 00:02:55.960
the two seconds that I slammed on the brakes till

46
00:02:56.159 --> 00:02:58.800
that I stopped right next to it and my passenger

47
00:02:58.879 --> 00:03:03.120
door was I mean, I was a foot away from

48
00:03:03.159 --> 00:03:06.240
this thing, and I look out my window and it's

49
00:03:06.319 --> 00:03:08.479
kind of foggy. Like I said, it was snowing, and

50
00:03:08.960 --> 00:03:12.199
you know, there's a fog on the window glass. And

51
00:03:12.919 --> 00:03:17.080
I didn't see a ton, but what I did see

52
00:03:17.280 --> 00:03:21.719
was like a reddish brown longer for three or four

53
00:03:21.759 --> 00:03:28.360
inches long, and it just seemed dirty to me, and

54
00:03:28.840 --> 00:03:31.560
something didn't seem right. So I got the heck out

55
00:03:31.599 --> 00:03:34.919
of there really fast and just kept driving home. I

56
00:03:35.039 --> 00:03:41.759
was literally five minutes from my house. So the weirdest

57
00:03:41.759 --> 00:03:48.080
thing about it was any person, I think, any person

58
00:03:48.159 --> 00:03:50.240
that was standing in the road as I was coming

59
00:03:50.280 --> 00:03:53.400
over that hill would have looked over at me. And

60
00:03:53.479 --> 00:03:56.680
this thing did not look at me, not even once.

61
00:03:57.039 --> 00:04:05.120
It didn't move, It didn't budge, didn't even flinch. Even

62
00:04:05.159 --> 00:04:08.280
when I stopped next to it, it was still back

63
00:04:08.319 --> 00:04:12.360
towards turned towards me. And that's when I said something's

64
00:04:12.479 --> 00:04:17.600
not right and I left. So that was the incident,

65
00:04:19.199 --> 00:04:22.519
I went about my life and kind of forgot about

66
00:04:22.560 --> 00:04:27.439
it and just wrote it off as a person. But

67
00:04:29.399 --> 00:04:33.759
those woods that it was looking into is my hunting

68
00:04:33.800 --> 00:04:40.000
area and hiking area and whatnot. So as I'm walking

69
00:04:40.040 --> 00:04:45.480
through these woods time after time, I always find this

70
00:04:45.680 --> 00:04:50.319
one part of the trail that seems like I always

71
00:04:50.319 --> 00:04:53.000
got creeped out there, and I'm not really sure why,

72
00:04:53.199 --> 00:04:55.879
or I wasn't sure why at the time. It always

73
00:04:55.920 --> 00:05:01.560
felt like something was watching me. It's just never seemed right.

74
00:05:02.000 --> 00:05:05.560
And more times than not, and I was in these

75
00:05:05.600 --> 00:05:08.240
woods quite a bit, but more times than not, I

76
00:05:08.279 --> 00:05:13.680
would hear break breaking branches and stop and then and

77
00:05:14.360 --> 00:05:17.519
then not hear anything. And then one day I actually

78
00:05:17.560 --> 00:05:23.720
went to explore the cracking branches and I didn't see anything.

79
00:05:23.759 --> 00:05:26.360
But I found a old pile of rocks. So I'm

80
00:05:26.399 --> 00:05:32.360
looking through these rocks and just to find a cool

81
00:05:32.399 --> 00:05:35.000
one to bring home with me, and I didn't see anything,

82
00:05:35.000 --> 00:05:40.720
so I just kept going about my day Again. The

83
00:05:40.759 --> 00:05:45.160
next couple of weeks, I don't think I was out there,

84
00:05:45.959 --> 00:05:48.480
And like two weeks later, I went back out there

85
00:05:48.519 --> 00:05:51.680
and I actually walked past that pile of rocks again,

86
00:05:52.399 --> 00:05:56.600
and weirdly enough, and I'm thinking to myself, how could

87
00:05:56.600 --> 00:05:59.040
I have missed this? But right on the top of

88
00:05:59.079 --> 00:06:02.199
this and this is a huge piles like twenty twenty

89
00:06:02.199 --> 00:06:05.600
foot of boulders, probably five six feet tall, and right

90
00:06:05.639 --> 00:06:10.720
on the top was a twenty twenty five pound rose quartz,

91
00:06:11.519 --> 00:06:14.519
very clean, there was no moss on it. And I'm like,

92
00:06:14.560 --> 00:06:18.120
how could I have missed that? And it's like weird,

93
00:06:19.240 --> 00:06:23.560
And I just brought her home and didn't think anything

94
00:06:23.600 --> 00:06:29.160
of it. Again all there's a lot of these things

95
00:06:29.160 --> 00:06:32.959
that happened over the years that just seemed weird at

96
00:06:32.959 --> 00:06:36.360
the time, and I wasn't really sure what was going

97
00:06:36.399 --> 00:06:40.399
on until I started listening to your podcast and then

98
00:06:41.519 --> 00:06:44.399
I started putting these things together and I'm like, no way.

99
00:06:46.079 --> 00:06:49.600
So that just led me to believe that the guy

100
00:06:49.720 --> 00:06:55.000
in the middle of the road wasn't a guy. For sure,

101
00:06:55.120 --> 00:07:02.600
it wasn't a guy. So year after year, I just

102
00:07:02.720 --> 00:07:12.800
keep going out there and just always heard breaking branches

103
00:07:12.839 --> 00:07:15.519
and stuff, and I know, you know, sometimes it could

104
00:07:15.560 --> 00:07:17.639
be something I was, like, a deer or whatever. But

105
00:07:19.079 --> 00:07:22.079
I got to tell you, for southern New Hampshire, which

106
00:07:22.120 --> 00:07:25.319
is supposed to be loaded with deer, this area was not.

107
00:07:26.560 --> 00:07:31.160
It was very odd. I got too deer out of

108
00:07:31.199 --> 00:07:35.920
that in twenty five years. That's pretty bad. And I'm

109
00:07:35.920 --> 00:07:39.480
not saying I'm a great hunter or anything, but I

110
00:07:39.839 --> 00:07:42.560
spent my time out there and I could only get

111
00:07:42.600 --> 00:07:45.000
too deer out of that. A lot of the times

112
00:07:45.040 --> 00:07:47.959
I was out there, everything was quiet. I never thought

113
00:07:48.000 --> 00:07:51.399
anything about it, but I always realized that there was

114
00:07:51.439 --> 00:07:55.759
no birds. There was no chipmunks or squirrels or you know,

115
00:07:55.800 --> 00:08:03.040
stuff like that. It was always quiet, and not always always,

116
00:08:03.079 --> 00:08:07.639
but more times than not it was quiet. So I'm

117
00:08:07.680 --> 00:08:10.759
thinking that this thing was out there watching me this

118
00:08:10.839 --> 00:08:17.720
whole time. Now I'm thinking that back then I wasn't.

119
00:08:18.519 --> 00:08:25.839
Some other things that I came across was hunting. One day,

120
00:08:26.399 --> 00:08:29.680
I came across the pretty good size hunting blind on

121
00:08:29.720 --> 00:08:35.320
the ground. I had three walls, and I walked into it.

122
00:08:35.320 --> 00:08:38.080
It was pretty deep. I walked into it and it

123
00:08:38.240 --> 00:08:42.519
immediately smelled something awful, and I'm like, I'm thinking to myself,

124
00:08:42.600 --> 00:08:45.639
what was it here? Because it smells bad. So I

125
00:08:45.639 --> 00:08:50.159
got out of there pretty quick. A couple of years

126
00:08:50.399 --> 00:08:54.039
after that, so this incident was actually in like nineteen

127
00:08:54.080 --> 00:09:00.600
ninety five, and now we're probably jumping to twenty ten

128
00:09:00.639 --> 00:09:06.320
to twenty fifteen, and I'm out there hunting and I

129
00:09:06.360 --> 00:09:09.759
know the land pretty well. Like I said, I saw

130
00:09:09.759 --> 00:09:12.840
that blind. It smelled really bad. I've never smelt anything

131
00:09:12.919 --> 00:09:20.000
like it, which I thought was oddly strange. Probably fifty

132
00:09:20.080 --> 00:09:23.600
feet from that, maybe a year or two later, I

133
00:09:23.759 --> 00:09:31.000
see two footprints in the mud, bare feet, thinking back

134
00:09:31.080 --> 00:09:33.200
now that I wish I had taken a picture or

135
00:09:33.799 --> 00:09:36.360
gone home and got some plaster. I didn't know anything

136
00:09:36.399 --> 00:09:39.440
about that stuff back then. You know, I knew about

137
00:09:39.440 --> 00:09:42.240
bigfoot from you know, in search of and stuff, but

138
00:09:44.519 --> 00:09:48.120
always thought if they were around that they weren't out

139
00:09:48.200 --> 00:09:51.639
in my area. They were out west or in Canada,

140
00:09:52.159 --> 00:09:53.639
you know, just like everybody else thinks.

141
00:09:53.639 --> 00:09:54.480
I guess.

142
00:09:54.919 --> 00:09:58.679
So once I saw the footprints, you know, and then

143
00:09:58.720 --> 00:10:01.559
they weren't huge. They were bigger than mine and I

144
00:10:01.639 --> 00:10:05.279
wear a size twelve thirteen, they were bigger than mine

145
00:10:05.320 --> 00:10:09.639
bare feet. It was bigger than my boot, so, you know,

146
00:10:11.279 --> 00:10:16.240
thirteen fourteen inches. Maybe it was a good sized footprint,

147
00:10:16.519 --> 00:10:20.000
and I'm like, who would be out here in bare feet?

148
00:10:20.159 --> 00:10:24.559
And it was like fall, so it wasn't warm. It

149
00:10:24.679 --> 00:10:31.960
was very odd, but again, just brushed it off. I

150
00:10:32.080 --> 00:10:34.519
know what I saw but I can't be sure that

151
00:10:34.600 --> 00:10:37.360
it was actually what I think it is. You know,

152
00:10:37.399 --> 00:10:41.039
it could have been a human. I suppose that's what

153
00:10:41.080 --> 00:10:45.759
I was thinking at the time. So then this one

154
00:10:45.799 --> 00:10:50.279
other incident, and that was a couple of years before

155
00:10:50.320 --> 00:10:53.799
I stopped going there. I've I've been up in Maine

156
00:10:53.840 --> 00:10:56.480
now for a few years, and I stopped going to

157
00:10:56.600 --> 00:11:00.159
that area probably five years before that, so it's probably

158
00:11:00.279 --> 00:11:05.320
been eightish years since I've been out in those woods.

159
00:11:07.399 --> 00:11:12.559
I used to target practice out there, and one day

160
00:11:12.600 --> 00:11:16.960
I was tiger practicing and I'm next to a pond

161
00:11:18.039 --> 00:11:21.200
and out of the corner I wasn't shooting at this time,

162
00:11:21.279 --> 00:11:24.720
I was reloading or whatever I was doing, and out

163
00:11:24.720 --> 00:11:28.039
of the corner of my eye, I hear something, well,

164
00:11:28.080 --> 00:11:30.159
I hear something, and then I see something out of

165
00:11:30.200 --> 00:11:34.600
corner of my eye, and it's this branch going end

166
00:11:34.639 --> 00:11:39.159
over end through the woods into the pond that I'm

167
00:11:39.919 --> 00:11:42.639
sitting next to, when it was probably fifty feet away

168
00:11:42.639 --> 00:11:45.120
from me. So I just turn and I look, and

169
00:11:45.159 --> 00:11:48.679
I don't hear or see anything, but I'm curious, So

170
00:11:48.759 --> 00:11:52.399
I get up and I start walking down the trail

171
00:11:52.480 --> 00:11:56.360
towards where this branch came out of the woods from

172
00:11:56.960 --> 00:11:59.639
and I just stand there for fifteen twenty minutes and

173
00:11:59.679 --> 00:12:04.279
I and I stare, and I stare, and I see nothing, nothing, nothing.

174
00:12:07.879 --> 00:12:11.279
End up walking that way back home, which I usually

175
00:12:11.360 --> 00:12:14.279
don't do because it's not really a trail, kind of

176
00:12:14.279 --> 00:12:17.000
just going through the forest at that point and then

177
00:12:17.080 --> 00:12:21.519
meet back up to the trail. But it was. It

178
00:12:21.559 --> 00:12:26.279
was just very odd. I I couldn't think of anything

179
00:12:26.320 --> 00:12:28.799
else that would have would have done that. And there

180
00:12:28.840 --> 00:12:30.440
was no person there. I would have seen him, I

181
00:12:30.440 --> 00:12:34.559
would have heard them. I stood there silent and just

182
00:12:34.600 --> 00:12:40.039
stared and I saw nothing. Uh So, as far as

183
00:12:42.399 --> 00:12:45.879
stuff like that, That's about it. The only other thing

184
00:12:45.960 --> 00:12:50.480
that I could think of that In that same area,

185
00:12:51.240 --> 00:12:54.399
I had a tree stand and I was there one

186
00:12:54.519 --> 00:12:59.480
night right until dark, and all of a sudden, I

187
00:12:59.559 --> 00:13:02.759
see a flashlight what I thought was a flashlight coming

188
00:13:02.759 --> 00:13:06.559
towards me through the woods, and they're following a rock wall,

189
00:13:07.600 --> 00:13:11.120
and I'm sitting there and just watching it, and it's

190
00:13:11.240 --> 00:13:15.240
bouncing like somebody walking with a flashlight. And then all

191
00:13:15.240 --> 00:13:19.360
of a sudden, fifteen feet from me, it just disappears gone,

192
00:13:21.799 --> 00:13:27.279
and there was silence, nothing, nothing happened. Nothing, I couldn't

193
00:13:27.279 --> 00:13:30.960
see anything, and I sat there for another ten minutes

194
00:13:30.960 --> 00:13:32.879
in my tree stand, like what am I going to

195
00:13:32.960 --> 00:13:37.279
do now? And I was a little scared and a

196
00:13:37.320 --> 00:13:40.919
little freaked out. So I got down really quick and

197
00:13:41.440 --> 00:13:44.480
ran down the hill, which it's pretty steep hill, probably

198
00:13:44.480 --> 00:13:48.879
two hundred feet or so, down to the swamp area

199
00:13:48.919 --> 00:13:52.720
and then back to my truck. And that was one

200
00:13:52.720 --> 00:13:55.759
of the last times I was out there. I think

201
00:13:55.799 --> 00:13:59.320
I went out there a couple more times after that,

202
00:13:59.600 --> 00:14:04.200
but but that was pretty much it. I started doing

203
00:14:04.240 --> 00:14:09.840
other things and just stopped going there completely. So, yeah,

204
00:14:09.840 --> 00:14:10.600
that's my story.

205
00:14:12.679 --> 00:14:20.080
That's some fascinating stuff, doc. So yeah, a few questions

206
00:14:20.360 --> 00:14:22.519
I have for you. So you did mention, so it's

207
00:14:22.639 --> 00:14:28.200
nineteen ninety five when your initial road siding happens, correct,

208
00:14:28.279 --> 00:14:32.559
and we know it's in southern New Hampshire. We also

209
00:14:32.559 --> 00:14:35.639
were talking a little bit before recording that we're not

210
00:14:35.639 --> 00:14:40.039
going to get super specific just for particular reasons, but

211
00:14:40.320 --> 00:14:44.159
do you feel comfortable saying if it's on the west

212
00:14:44.200 --> 00:14:46.039
side or the east side of the state.

213
00:14:46.519 --> 00:14:56.960
Yeah, it's southern central. We're fifteen minutes from Nashville, New Hampshire,

214
00:14:57.600 --> 00:15:04.159
ten minutes from Massachusetts border now I'm thirty minutes from Manchester,

215
00:15:04.240 --> 00:15:11.960
New Hampshire. It's in the Pelham, Wyndham Hudson area. It's

216
00:15:12.039 --> 00:15:14.399
kind of the woods have all three of these towns

217
00:15:14.399 --> 00:15:14.639
in it.

218
00:15:17.720 --> 00:15:24.480
Absolutely Listeners who aren't familiar with New Hampshire will kind

219
00:15:24.480 --> 00:15:27.279
of be like southern New Hampshire. That sounds like it's

220
00:15:27.799 --> 00:15:31.399
maybe not. But then if you look past, if you

221
00:15:31.440 --> 00:15:36.519
look into past episodes, Southeast New Hampshire has some stuff

222
00:15:36.600 --> 00:15:39.440
going on. You can look at the sighting map that

223
00:15:39.480 --> 00:15:42.639
I've put together on big for Society podcast dot com

224
00:15:42.639 --> 00:15:47.879
and just north up by Manchester. I mean there's been

225
00:15:47.960 --> 00:15:51.919
a ton of activity up there. Definitely would not Yeah,

226
00:15:51.960 --> 00:15:56.799
I wouldn't put it past this area at all. So

227
00:15:56.960 --> 00:16:01.399
a few questions about about what you saw that day.

228
00:16:01.440 --> 00:16:03.120
So what were you driving specifically?

229
00:16:03.919 --> 00:16:06.039
I was the mid sized car.

230
00:16:07.399 --> 00:16:11.639
Okay, gotcha. So we're talking like maybe like a four

231
00:16:11.679 --> 00:16:12.960
door sedan something like that.

232
00:16:13.039 --> 00:16:14.399
Yeah, yeah, okay.

233
00:16:15.919 --> 00:16:19.360
So then you're you're sitting down in the car, so

234
00:16:19.399 --> 00:16:24.399
then your viewpoint, you're looking straight ahead, So what what

235
00:16:24.480 --> 00:16:29.399
part of the Bigfoot from the back of it? Then

236
00:16:29.440 --> 00:16:31.559
are you looking at?

237
00:16:32.080 --> 00:16:34.759
When I had stopped right next to it, all I

238
00:16:34.799 --> 00:16:36.759
could see all I could see.

239
00:16:36.600 --> 00:16:40.759
Was back Okay, okay, gotcha.

240
00:16:40.519 --> 00:16:44.480
And the head was above my sight. So as far

241
00:16:44.519 --> 00:16:50.960
as height, I'm guessing six feetish wasn't super tall. They

242
00:16:51.000 --> 00:16:55.320
weren't really bulky, if I was to guess it was,

243
00:16:55.440 --> 00:16:58.639
you know, a juvenile or a female, small female.

244
00:16:58.879 --> 00:17:05.640
Do you remember any details about was it overly muscular

245
00:17:05.799 --> 00:17:08.039
or did it seem to be more lean or anything

246
00:17:08.079 --> 00:17:08.279
like that.

247
00:17:08.920 --> 00:17:15.440
Yeah, it was more lean. It wasn't thin, but it

248
00:17:15.480 --> 00:17:22.359
wasn't super muscular it was it was just kind of normalish.

249
00:17:22.400 --> 00:17:25.640
Gotcha. Were you able to notice anything about the arms

250
00:17:25.680 --> 00:17:27.400
at all? I know you've said a few times that

251
00:17:27.440 --> 00:17:29.200
you noticed the back of it.

252
00:17:30.519 --> 00:17:33.240
Yeah. Yeah. So when I came over that hill, I

253
00:17:33.279 --> 00:17:36.319
saw the whole thing, and like I said, there was

254
00:17:36.400 --> 00:17:41.359
no it was nothing but fur. There was no clothes,

255
00:17:41.519 --> 00:17:44.119
there was there was no pants, there was no shoes,

256
00:17:44.279 --> 00:17:51.039
there was you know, uh. The color from that distance

257
00:17:51.279 --> 00:17:53.799
looked to me like a reddish brown, and when I

258
00:17:53.839 --> 00:17:57.400
got closer it had more of a multicolored black and

259
00:17:57.440 --> 00:18:00.519
brown and reddish and maybe a couple of streaks of

260
00:18:00.559 --> 00:18:06.599
blonde in it. And again at that point, I couldn't

261
00:18:06.640 --> 00:18:10.599
see its head. And then I couldn't see the you know,

262
00:18:10.680 --> 00:18:15.079
below the waist either. Once once I had stopped right

263
00:18:15.119 --> 00:18:15.640
next to it.

264
00:18:16.640 --> 00:18:22.240
Gotcha, Okay, that makes sense. So from the viewpoint that

265
00:18:22.319 --> 00:18:24.119
you had as you were getting up close to it,

266
00:18:24.200 --> 00:18:29.279
you could see the whole thing from the backside. What

267
00:18:29.440 --> 00:18:33.640
were the main things that told you that what you're

268
00:18:33.680 --> 00:18:37.119
looking at is not a a bear that's on its

269
00:18:37.160 --> 00:18:38.200
hind legs.

270
00:18:38.599 --> 00:18:42.799
Well, again, I'm a pretty good outdoorsman. I've been around

271
00:18:42.880 --> 00:18:46.599
quite a few bears. Yeah, I know what they look like,

272
00:18:46.920 --> 00:18:52.799
and that certainly wasn't a bear. Even a bear I

273
00:18:52.839 --> 00:18:57.079
think would have turned to see the car coming towards

274
00:18:57.119 --> 00:19:02.839
it and at least clinched. This thing did not budget,

275
00:19:03.039 --> 00:19:04.079
not even an inch.

276
00:19:06.160 --> 00:19:08.799
Makes sense. Were there any details about it that you

277
00:19:08.920 --> 00:19:12.839
noticed that we're like, yeah, what I'm looking at was

278
00:19:12.920 --> 00:19:18.240
definitely not a bear. Besides the not flinching, Oh for sure.

279
00:19:19.039 --> 00:19:23.119
Just I mean obviously just standing up and was standing

280
00:19:23.200 --> 00:19:27.960
up straight. There was no slouching over. There was you know,

281
00:19:31.319 --> 00:19:35.240
the color of it, The length of the hair was

282
00:19:35.359 --> 00:19:39.440
you know, a lot longer than a bear. It just

283
00:19:39.720 --> 00:19:41.799
did not look like one at all.

284
00:19:41.880 --> 00:19:50.559
Absolutely. Yeah. So you stopped, You're about a foot away,

285
00:19:50.680 --> 00:19:55.119
which is so extremely close. Yeah, it's incredible how close

286
00:19:55.200 --> 00:20:00.440
that was. Can you tell me a bit of about

287
00:20:00.480 --> 00:20:04.839
how so you said you left the scene, You're like,

288
00:20:04.920 --> 00:20:05.960
I got to get out of here.

289
00:20:06.720 --> 00:20:08.480
How it didn't seem right out?

290
00:20:09.480 --> 00:20:10.119
Yeah?

291
00:20:10.200 --> 00:20:13.599
Yeah, when I looked over at it and it didn't move,

292
00:20:13.720 --> 00:20:17.039
and and I'm looking at it at its fur, and

293
00:20:17.079 --> 00:20:20.200
it just looked really dirty, like just came out of

294
00:20:20.200 --> 00:20:22.559
a swamp. Really, it was wet, and I mean obviously

295
00:20:22.559 --> 00:20:24.599
it was snow and it was probably wet anyways, but

296
00:20:25.720 --> 00:20:31.160
it just looked dirty. And again, there's no bear out

297
00:20:31.160 --> 00:20:36.000
there that would not keep itself clean. Maybe a sick one,

298
00:20:36.079 --> 00:20:38.200
but right, right.

299
00:20:38.920 --> 00:20:41.799
So, in order for you to get where you were

300
00:20:41.799 --> 00:20:45.759
going after this, which it was, you were going back home, right, Yeah?

301
00:20:46.920 --> 00:20:51.759
Did you have to keep going past where the bigfoot

302
00:20:51.880 --> 00:20:53.680
was in front of you? Or did you have to

303
00:20:53.759 --> 00:20:55.640
turn around to get back there?

304
00:20:56.319 --> 00:20:59.480
No? I just kept going. I had already been passed.

305
00:20:59.599 --> 00:21:01.759
I went past it already kind of. I mean I

306
00:21:01.839 --> 00:21:03.720
stopped right next to it, and then it went past.

307
00:21:04.599 --> 00:21:07.240
Oh okay, gotcha. Okay, so you you you stopped, it's

308
00:21:07.240 --> 00:21:10.000
a foot ahead of you. You kind of.

309
00:21:10.000 --> 00:21:12.599
Ye on the path on the passenger side. It was

310
00:21:12.640 --> 00:21:13.039
next to me.

311
00:21:13.160 --> 00:21:17.480
Yep, okay, gotcha. Okay, so you're it's on the passenger side,

312
00:21:17.519 --> 00:21:20.680
you're kind of looking there, so that makes sense because

313
00:21:20.720 --> 00:21:22.680
then you could just easily.

314
00:21:23.160 --> 00:21:26.920
Yeah around it, keep going right. Yeah, it wasn't abstructing

315
00:21:26.960 --> 00:21:29.319
my path, So got it?

316
00:21:29.599 --> 00:21:34.720
Got it? That's cool. I think four is. I think

317
00:21:34.759 --> 00:21:38.559
that's all the questions that I Oh, when you got home,

318
00:21:40.119 --> 00:21:42.960
how long was it until you told someone else about

319
00:21:43.039 --> 00:21:43.720
what happened?

320
00:21:44.400 --> 00:21:51.160
I think I told my wife something weird happened, and

321
00:21:51.599 --> 00:21:53.880
we kind of laughed about it, and she may have

322
00:21:53.960 --> 00:21:58.480
said something like maybe it was bigfoot, and I'm sure

323
00:21:58.519 --> 00:22:01.839
we laughed about it. I don't don't exactly remember the conversation,

324
00:22:02.039 --> 00:22:04.960
but other than that, I don't think I told anybody else,

325
00:22:06.000 --> 00:22:08.000
and I just went about my life and kind of

326
00:22:08.039 --> 00:22:11.640
forgot about it.

327
00:22:11.720 --> 00:22:14.079
Is bigfoot a thing that would ever come up in

328
00:22:14.119 --> 00:22:16.839
this area of New Hampshire where you were living.

329
00:22:18.400 --> 00:22:22.319
No, I've never heard anybody say anything about it, not

330
00:22:22.480 --> 00:22:24.759
seeing one anyways.

331
00:22:25.440 --> 00:22:28.960
Yeah, and I can I can say that from experience too, because,

332
00:22:29.000 --> 00:22:33.400
as we were talking about before the show, I grew

333
00:22:33.480 --> 00:22:39.039
up in mass but it would be over by Keenan Winchester,

334
00:22:39.279 --> 00:22:46.240
so that's that's south that's more southwest New Hampshire ish

335
00:22:46.279 --> 00:22:50.680
and there's so much activity that happens over there by Merlborough.

336
00:22:51.160 --> 00:22:53.440
And I was there for a good eighteen years and

337
00:22:53.519 --> 00:22:57.240
I never heard any of it, right, It never ever

338
00:22:57.400 --> 00:22:59.920
came up. And like, now I'm into it, and like

339
00:23:00.440 --> 00:23:03.279
the stories that come out of like Marlborough and that

340
00:23:03.480 --> 00:23:04.599
area are just wild.

341
00:23:05.039 --> 00:23:06.920
Yeah, and it's like, that's very incredible.

342
00:23:07.119 --> 00:23:10.240
Just people don't talk, they do not talk about it.

343
00:23:10.440 --> 00:23:12.119
Yeah, I mean it took me thirty years.

344
00:23:13.559 --> 00:23:19.279
Yeah, absolutely, Why did you decide to come forward after

345
00:23:19.640 --> 00:23:22.519
thirty years of not really putting it out there?

346
00:23:22.920 --> 00:23:25.240
Well, I mean, you know, it's always been in the

347
00:23:25.279 --> 00:23:28.759
back of my mind, but I was never really sure

348
00:23:28.839 --> 00:23:31.960
until I started listening to your podcasts and listening to

349
00:23:32.000 --> 00:23:34.200
them every single day and people coming up with these

350
00:23:34.240 --> 00:23:37.480
accounts and I'm like, wow, that happened to me, and

351
00:23:37.519 --> 00:23:41.160
then wow, that happened to me, And I just came

352
00:23:41.599 --> 00:23:45.880
up with this epiphany that that's what I saw and

353
00:23:45.960 --> 00:23:50.440
this is what it did while it was watching me

354
00:23:50.559 --> 00:23:56.680
for thirty years, almost thirty years. It's shocking to think about.

355
00:23:56.359 --> 00:24:04.119
That now, it really is. It's just that's wild and yeah,

356
00:24:04.200 --> 00:24:07.759
I think that you're really you know, you said it

357
00:24:07.799 --> 00:24:11.400
in a good way, is you know, And I hear

358
00:24:11.759 --> 00:24:14.039
because I'm the one doing the interviewing, and you just

359
00:24:14.319 --> 00:24:18.759
you're right. You start to hear these patterns, and if

360
00:24:18.799 --> 00:24:21.920
you've experienced something yourself, you're like, oh, okay, it's it's

361
00:24:22.000 --> 00:24:24.680
not really a big deal if I share what happened

362
00:24:24.680 --> 00:24:28.920
to me, Like it is literally a thing where everyone Yeah,

363
00:24:28.960 --> 00:24:31.559
there's they're all over the place. You know, it's not

364
00:24:31.759 --> 00:24:34.319
a thing that I should be ashamed of or whatever.

365
00:24:34.359 --> 00:24:38.519
Yeah, exactly. Yeah, So yeah, that's why I called you.

366
00:24:40.000 --> 00:24:46.720
I'm glad. I'm glad that we got connected. You're about

367
00:24:46.839 --> 00:24:51.799
the the rock pile in the rose Quarts. That's really interesting.

368
00:24:51.880 --> 00:24:53.599
How big was the rose quarts?

369
00:24:54.680 --> 00:24:58.559
It was about it's about the size of a big

370
00:24:58.599 --> 00:25:02.839
bowling ball. Who yeah, it was good size. It was

371
00:25:02.839 --> 00:25:07.559
a it's a beautiful rock. And I'm talking to myself, like,

372
00:25:07.640 --> 00:25:09.680
how could I have missed this? It's right on the top.

373
00:25:10.720 --> 00:25:14.160
I didn't miss it the first time. I didn't. I know,

374
00:25:14.279 --> 00:25:18.519
I didn't. Now it was it was set there for me.

375
00:25:21.759 --> 00:25:26.599
That's man. It is It is so interesting. Did anything

376
00:25:26.759 --> 00:25:29.799
out of the ordinary happen after you brought it home.

377
00:25:33.599 --> 00:25:38.680
So I do have where those woods are. They can

378
00:25:38.799 --> 00:25:43.640
get to my house through a town forest and a

379
00:25:43.680 --> 00:25:47.759
couple of little swamps and and be in my backyard,

380
00:25:47.799 --> 00:25:53.480
which is power lines. So there was a possibility it

381
00:25:53.599 --> 00:25:55.880
was back there watching me as well. I'm not sure.

382
00:25:56.119 --> 00:25:59.680
I didn't see anything, didn't hear anything, other than one night,

383
00:26:02.119 --> 00:26:05.319
our house, the neighbor's house on either side, we all

384
00:26:05.359 --> 00:26:08.720
got woken up like two thirty in the morning, something

385
00:26:08.960 --> 00:26:12.960
screaming out in the backwoods like a woman. Can't say

386
00:26:13.000 --> 00:26:15.559
for sure or what it was. People were saying, you know,

387
00:26:15.599 --> 00:26:20.039
the neighbors were saying, oh, it's a fisher cat, which

388
00:26:20.240 --> 00:26:24.559
very well could have been. I don't know, but I

389
00:26:24.599 --> 00:26:27.480
guess that would be the oddest thing that happened.

390
00:26:27.119 --> 00:26:32.039
Out back, gotcha, and and you, being an outdoorsman, I

391
00:26:32.079 --> 00:26:35.640
mean you would know. I'm guessing what a fisher cat

392
00:26:36.160 --> 00:26:38.880
sounds like, what a fox sounds like. We both know

393
00:26:38.960 --> 00:26:43.880
that fox didn't sound really terrible, like just absolutely demons

394
00:26:43.960 --> 00:26:47.160
out there, but you know what that sounds like.

395
00:26:47.559 --> 00:26:54.359
Yep, I definitely do. And actually there's a possibility that

396
00:26:54.400 --> 00:26:56.759
there could have been a mountain lion back there as well.

397
00:26:56.960 --> 00:27:02.799
I did see one. Years later, after that incident of

398
00:27:02.839 --> 00:27:05.759
the screaming woman in the back, I saw one crossing

399
00:27:05.799 --> 00:27:12.839
the highway three cars in front of me, with three

400
00:27:12.880 --> 00:27:15.319
cars in front of me, so all four of us

401
00:27:15.319 --> 00:27:19.160
saw it like a mile from my house. So it

402
00:27:19.200 --> 00:27:21.279
could have been a mountain lion as well, But I

403
00:27:21.319 --> 00:27:21.680
don't know.

404
00:27:23.200 --> 00:27:26.640
Well we both know that mountain lions don't exist in

405
00:27:26.680 --> 00:27:29.480
New England. Yeah sure they did even say it with

406
00:27:29.519 --> 00:27:30.240
a straight face.

407
00:27:30.319 --> 00:27:30.559
I know.

408
00:27:30.759 --> 00:27:31.039
I know.

409
00:27:31.599 --> 00:27:34.880
Yeah, well there there everywhere, trust me, there are. I

410
00:27:34.920 --> 00:27:35.359
saw one.

411
00:27:35.440 --> 00:27:36.319
Yeah, absolutely.

412
00:27:36.720 --> 00:27:36.920
Man.

413
00:27:37.000 --> 00:27:40.680
Growing up, it was like the wildlife guys would be like,

414
00:27:40.680 --> 00:27:42.640
oh yeah, there's no mountainins. We would see him in

415
00:27:42.680 --> 00:27:46.440
the backyards and in Northfield on main Street, like people

416
00:27:46.440 --> 00:27:49.680
are seeing mountains. It's just crazy, nuts, it's nuts. But

417
00:27:49.799 --> 00:27:55.359
how long were the when when you heard that noise

418
00:27:55.400 --> 00:27:59.119
that sounded like the woman screaming? How long were they?

419
00:27:59.160 --> 00:28:01.799
Were they the shore bursts or are they very long?

420
00:28:01.920 --> 00:28:05.279
Or no? It was kind of a longer scream and

421
00:28:05.440 --> 00:28:09.519
they lasted. It went on for probably fifteen minutes, and

422
00:28:10.160 --> 00:28:14.319
there was like ten people outside listening to this outside

423
00:28:14.359 --> 00:28:14.960
their houses.

424
00:28:17.160 --> 00:28:20.759
Now imagine, so you're saying the whole ordeal was probably

425
00:28:20.759 --> 00:28:21.680
about fifteen minutes.

426
00:28:22.079 --> 00:28:26.319
Yeah, okay, and from being woken up from the noise

427
00:28:26.359 --> 00:28:27.640
and then all of us outside.

428
00:28:27.720 --> 00:28:35.079
Yeah, so imagine, like you're trying to say, okay, from

429
00:28:35.119 --> 00:28:37.960
the time if you could even realize this, from the

430
00:28:38.000 --> 00:28:40.640
time it took a breath and it started screaming, like,

431
00:28:40.880 --> 00:28:44.319
could you tell how long those bursts were from then

432
00:28:44.359 --> 00:28:46.839
it had to stop and probably take another breath.

433
00:28:47.519 --> 00:28:51.519
Yeah, if i'd have to guess, you know, twenty thirty

434
00:28:51.559 --> 00:28:56.559
seconds maybe wow? Yeah, Okay, it was a good burst.

435
00:28:56.680 --> 00:29:01.440
Yeah, yeah, I think because mountain lions are usually shorter, right,

436
00:29:02.119 --> 00:29:02.920
trying to remember?

437
00:29:03.279 --> 00:29:06.000
Yeah, I think so. I I looked it up and

438
00:29:06.119 --> 00:29:11.160
it didn't quite sound like it was a mountain lions. Again,

439
00:29:11.240 --> 00:29:12.160
I can't be sure.

440
00:29:12.920 --> 00:29:22.160
Yeah, yeah, yeah. The so the tracks that you saw, yep,

441
00:29:22.839 --> 00:29:26.319
five those Okay, Yeah, that's what That's what I was

442
00:29:26.359 --> 00:29:26.799
going to get at.

443
00:29:26.920 --> 00:29:30.279
Okay, looked pretty normal to me. That's why I was

444
00:29:30.319 --> 00:29:33.200
skeptical at the time. I think I did take a picture,

445
00:29:33.279 --> 00:29:34.759
but I I've lost it since.

446
00:29:38.079 --> 00:29:41.920
So you saw a few footprints, did you get any

447
00:29:42.279 --> 00:29:42.839
two of them?

448
00:29:42.920 --> 00:29:43.240
Okay?

449
00:29:43.279 --> 00:29:46.920
Could you get anything about the way it was walking,

450
00:29:47.759 --> 00:29:51.559
From the way that the footprints were set up.

451
00:29:52.279 --> 00:30:01.720
Or were how it was probably a slow walk. I

452
00:30:01.759 --> 00:30:07.640
don't think they had a super long stride, if I'm

453
00:30:07.759 --> 00:30:10.920
gonna guess, and I probably should have been more aware

454
00:30:11.000 --> 00:30:13.279
of it, but I didn't know what I.

455
00:30:13.240 --> 00:30:15.200
Was really looking at exactly.

456
00:30:15.319 --> 00:30:20.359
Yeah, the stride could have been four feet apart, I'm

457
00:30:20.400 --> 00:30:25.519
not sure, but maybe a little less. But that's probably

458
00:30:25.680 --> 00:30:28.039
pretty accurate for the size that I saw.

459
00:30:30.519 --> 00:30:32.960
Were they in a line or were they next to

460
00:30:33.000 --> 00:30:40.440
each other? They were in a line, Okay, gotcha. Do

461
00:30:40.519 --> 00:30:44.799
you remember anything about the orientation of the toes.

462
00:30:49.400 --> 00:30:54.279
Yeah, I mean it was in not really deep mud,

463
00:30:54.359 --> 00:30:58.319
but it was obviously and enough mud to make a print,

464
00:30:59.200 --> 00:31:03.079
so I I couldn't really tell you that for sure.

465
00:31:03.240 --> 00:31:04.920
I mean it kind of looked distorted to me.

466
00:31:05.960 --> 00:31:10.960
Gotcha. Gotcha? That is that is really interesting.

467
00:31:12.240 --> 00:31:15.960
And those prints were fifty feet from that deer blind

468
00:31:16.000 --> 00:31:19.160
that I saw that that had the scent in it.

469
00:31:20.960 --> 00:31:28.759
Yeah, which it's like, how many guys are just going

470
00:31:28.839 --> 00:31:33.559
to be out there with really large feet, yeah, with

471
00:31:33.640 --> 00:31:34.839
no shoes on.

472
00:31:35.559 --> 00:31:37.559
I got to tell you, I was in those woods

473
00:31:37.599 --> 00:31:43.079
more than anybody else ninety eight to ninety nine percent

474
00:31:43.079 --> 00:31:45.880
of the time except for hunting season. I was out

475
00:31:45.880 --> 00:31:50.119
there alone. Nobody else was ever out ever, ever out there.

476
00:31:50.279 --> 00:31:55.319
Occasionally I'd seen somebody walking their dog occasionally, and then

477
00:31:55.400 --> 00:31:58.440
other times maybe some four wheelers were out there in

478
00:31:58.480 --> 00:32:02.559
their jeeps or something, but hardly anybody was ever out there.

479
00:32:02.599 --> 00:32:05.720
I was by myself ninety nine percent of the time.

480
00:32:06.599 --> 00:32:13.839
Gotcha. So it sounds like, well, it sounds like this

481
00:32:13.839 --> 00:32:18.799
this area was definitely readily accessible to the general public.

482
00:32:19.359 --> 00:32:22.240
Oh yeah, yeah, there there's several ways to get into it.

483
00:32:22.279 --> 00:32:25.880
There's several trails, yeah for sure.

484
00:32:26.599 --> 00:32:32.279
Okay, cool. Cool. So you talked about seeing a weird

485
00:32:32.359 --> 00:32:35.200
light in the in the woods, which that's that's something

486
00:32:35.279 --> 00:32:39.519
I have not experienced yet. Yeah, but it's very interesting.

487
00:32:39.960 --> 00:32:40.119
Was it?

488
00:32:40.119 --> 00:32:42.240
Did I have a certain color to it?

489
00:32:42.240 --> 00:32:47.640
It was just like a dull flashlight, just whitish, and

490
00:32:47.759 --> 00:32:53.200
it was probably, you know, four feet off the ground,

491
00:32:53.359 --> 00:32:58.359
like somebody's holding it down on their arm on, you know,

492
00:32:58.599 --> 00:33:02.720
holding it in the hand down either side.

493
00:33:03.279 --> 00:33:06.599
Did the the size of the actual light did that

494
00:33:06.720 --> 00:33:10.559
line up with the normal size of what a flashlight

495
00:33:10.599 --> 00:33:11.680
would give off as well?

496
00:33:11.759 --> 00:33:14.279
Yeah? Pretty much. Yeah, That's what I thought at the time.

497
00:33:15.559 --> 00:33:17.880
And then it disappeared, and I'm like, what was that.

498
00:33:18.000 --> 00:33:24.440
Yeah, that's that's the weird part, because you know, right logically,

499
00:33:24.440 --> 00:33:26.480
you're like, well, it might have been a flashlight, right,

500
00:33:26.519 --> 00:33:29.880
But then you're it disappeared like you didn't see anyone.

501
00:33:29.759 --> 00:33:33.559
Gone, and there was silence, nothing but darkness. And I'm

502
00:33:33.599 --> 00:33:35.680
fifteen feet away up in a tree.

503
00:33:37.160 --> 00:33:40.079
Yeah, so okay, So on top of that, then you're

504
00:33:40.119 --> 00:33:46.279
not hearing like something stepping nothing, no footsteps, nothing like that.

505
00:33:46.359 --> 00:33:52.279
Wow. And and that is probably two hundred to two

506
00:33:52.400 --> 00:33:54.519
hundred and fifty feet away from where I saw it

507
00:33:54.559 --> 00:33:55.359
on the road.

508
00:33:59.119 --> 00:34:02.920
Yards away, yeah, okay, yards. Yeah, so all this stuff is.

509
00:34:02.920 --> 00:34:05.400
Really close by each other.

510
00:34:05.480 --> 00:34:07.400
It's close, yeah, close proximity.

511
00:34:08.719 --> 00:34:12.480
The footprints were probably a quarter mile into the woods

512
00:34:12.639 --> 00:34:19.400
from from all these incidents. Yeah, all the branch breaks

513
00:34:19.800 --> 00:34:26.480
again within a quarter mile of where I saw it,

514
00:34:27.000 --> 00:34:30.239
where I saw the light, where the branch. These are

515
00:34:30.280 --> 00:34:33.280
all right in that area.

516
00:34:35.639 --> 00:34:40.440
So you're so you would spend time in this is

517
00:34:40.480 --> 00:34:44.639
deer stand up in a tree. And yeah, so you're saying,

518
00:34:45.119 --> 00:34:48.840
so you were in here for twenty twenty years, right.

519
00:34:49.119 --> 00:34:51.719
Oh, I hunted in that for twenty twenty five years.

520
00:34:51.800 --> 00:34:56.480
Yeah, and the whole time, Now, did you see more

521
00:34:56.519 --> 00:34:59.760
than two deer. You're just saying you you harvested a

522
00:34:59.760 --> 00:35:00.840
toll two deer at that.

523
00:35:00.960 --> 00:35:03.360
I harvested a total two deer out of there. I

524
00:35:03.679 --> 00:35:06.599
did see many more, but there should have been a

525
00:35:06.639 --> 00:35:08.920
lot more deer in that area, and there never was,

526
00:35:09.960 --> 00:35:14.639
absolutely and they always seemed so skittish. And I've always wondered, why.

527
00:35:17.239 --> 00:35:20.599
Is this area, you know, spending a lot of time

528
00:35:20.639 --> 00:35:24.639
in there? Were there any other weird things that that

529
00:35:24.719 --> 00:35:28.880
would happen or be reported, or missing people or anything

530
00:35:28.960 --> 00:35:29.280
like that.

531
00:35:29.760 --> 00:35:37.719
No, nope, never heard anything about that. No missing people, nothing. Yeah,

532
00:35:37.800 --> 00:35:42.440
I can't think of anything like that now. Pretty fake placed.

533
00:35:43.039 --> 00:35:46.719
And I felt safe too. I'd never felt threatened. I

534
00:35:46.880 --> 00:35:49.239
just felt a little creeped out, like something was watching

535
00:35:49.280 --> 00:35:52.679
me all the time. And you know, I realize why now,

536
00:35:52.760 --> 00:35:57.480
but that's the only emotion I ever felt, was just

537
00:35:57.519 --> 00:36:01.800
a little strangeness. I never felt threat endeavor. Even when

538
00:36:01.800 --> 00:36:05.920
the branch, even when the branch got thrown, there was

539
00:36:05.960 --> 00:36:11.119
no there was no fear out of me or anything.

540
00:36:11.199 --> 00:36:16.760
I stuck around and I waited for twenty minutes where

541
00:36:16.800 --> 00:36:20.639
I saw the branch coming from, and then watch the woods,

542
00:36:20.639 --> 00:36:22.559
and I just didn't feel anything.

543
00:36:25.320 --> 00:36:29.760
Remind me were you able to track down that the

544
00:36:29.880 --> 00:36:31.000
branch that was thrown.

545
00:36:31.599 --> 00:36:35.400
Now, I went into the middle of the pond, so okay, yeah,

546
00:36:36.639 --> 00:36:41.119
it probably from the time I turned my head to

547
00:36:41.159 --> 00:36:45.280
see it flipping end over end to the time it

548
00:36:45.480 --> 00:36:50.000
went into the into the middle of the pond. You know,

549
00:36:50.039 --> 00:36:54.800
it was a couple of seconds, and it probably I

550
00:36:54.960 --> 00:36:57.960
visually saw it travel eighty feet.

551
00:37:00.119 --> 00:37:01.840
Wow. Yeah, my goodness.

552
00:37:02.199 --> 00:37:03.719
And I could hear it before that.

553
00:37:07.079 --> 00:37:10.880
Wild wild stuff. It's it is crazy. I'm looking at

554
00:37:10.920 --> 00:37:14.280
the map again. It's crazy how how close it is

555
00:37:14.719 --> 00:37:17.559
to down there to the state line. I mean, yeah, right,

556
00:37:17.599 --> 00:37:19.960
but there there are woods down there for.

557
00:37:19.760 --> 00:37:22.480
Sure, oh yeah.

558
00:37:22.519 --> 00:37:25.920
And then I mean you've got like North Chelmsford right

559
00:37:26.320 --> 00:37:29.119
right over and loll and stuff. It's just crazy, man.

560
00:37:29.079 --> 00:37:32.440
Yeah, exactly. We're surrounded by cities. I mean, there's hundreds

561
00:37:32.440 --> 00:37:37.679
of houses around, there's thousands of people. Never ever heard

562
00:37:37.719 --> 00:37:38.840
anybody say it.

563
00:37:41.280 --> 00:37:44.480
But yet there are definitely people having stuff happen. Because

564
00:37:44.519 --> 00:37:47.559
every once in a while, someone from like the North

565
00:37:47.639 --> 00:37:52.480
Shore or southern New Hampshire like yourself will just send

566
00:37:52.480 --> 00:37:55.519
an email and then we'll actually get to talk. And

567
00:37:56.239 --> 00:37:58.199
you know, I would say, if if people are listening

568
00:37:58.280 --> 00:38:02.320
to this and they've had things happen in the same area.

569
00:38:03.000 --> 00:38:06.800
You know, we can. I would love to hear from you.

570
00:38:06.880 --> 00:38:08.159
And even if it's a thing where you don't want

571
00:38:08.199 --> 00:38:10.800
to go on record, you know that is okay, or

572
00:38:10.840 --> 00:38:13.960
we can do you know, audio only, like this episode

573
00:38:14.159 --> 00:38:19.400
is audio only for that reason. But Doc, thank you

574
00:38:19.480 --> 00:38:23.079
so much for sharing what you experienced. I want to

575
00:38:23.119 --> 00:38:26.360
make sure that you're able to share everything from your

576
00:38:26.400 --> 00:38:27.800
experiences over the years.

577
00:38:28.119 --> 00:38:29.960
Yeah, that's all I can think of. If I can

578
00:38:30.000 --> 00:38:32.159
think of anything else, I'll definitely give you a buzz.

579
00:38:32.239 --> 00:38:35.079
But I appreciate you having me on so much, very much.

580
00:38:35.119 --> 00:38:35.760
Thank you much.

581
00:38:38.639 --> 00:38:41.639
Have you ever heard all the accounts of bigfoot activity

582
00:38:41.719 --> 00:38:44.920
around Oakridge, Oregon and you think to yourself, Man, I

583
00:38:44.960 --> 00:38:47.800
would love to get out in those woods and experience

584
00:38:47.840 --> 00:38:52.360
it for myself. Well guess what this year you can

585
00:38:53.039 --> 00:38:56.000
If this is interesting to you, stay tuned because it's

586
00:38:56.039 --> 00:39:00.960
pretty cool. Sasquatch Summer Fest is coming up July tenth

587
00:39:01.039 --> 00:39:05.000
through the eleventh, twenty twenty six. It's gonna be even

588
00:39:05.079 --> 00:39:08.920
better than the previous year's. Reason number one, I'll be

589
00:39:08.920 --> 00:39:12.039
one of the speakers. It's gonna be wild. I'll probably

590
00:39:13.239 --> 00:39:17.360
I'll say this, there may be stuff you haven't heard

591
00:39:17.480 --> 00:39:23.519
anywhere else, because let's just say sometimes it's well, you

592
00:39:23.639 --> 00:39:26.079
just gotta be there. We'll leave it that more about

593
00:39:26.079 --> 00:39:28.880

599
00:39:55.800 --> 00:39:59.599
There's only eight spots to sign up for this, and yes,

00:40:00.320 --> 00:40:03.320

his documentary series, which is Searching for Sasquatch. This is

602
00:40:06.760 --> 00:40:09.239

603
00:40:09.280 --> 00:40:14.199

611
00:40:45.480 --> 00:40:49.039
in Oakridge this year. We can talk about your encounter.

612
00:40:49.280 --> 00:40:51.679
Was able to talk to so many people last year

613
00:40:51.760 --> 00:40:55.880
and the year before. It is an incredible time. You're

614
00:40:55.920 --> 00:40:57.679
not going to want to miss it, and I'll see

615
00:40:57.679 --> 00:41:02.039
you there. Before we wrap this episode, I want to

616
00:41:02.039 --> 00:41:05.320
say something directly to a very specific group of listeners.

617
00:41:05.559 --> 00:41:09.280
If you're in the military, any branch or forces, and

618
00:41:09.360 --> 00:41:12.239
if you've seen something that no one can explain, or

619
00:41:12.280 --> 00:41:15.360
if you're a National park ranger or forestry worker who's

620
00:41:15.400 --> 00:41:18.239
been told to stay quiet, or if you're a pilot

621
00:41:18.280 --> 00:41:21.800
who's seen something strange down on the ground, or if

622
00:41:21.840 --> 00:41:25.400
you're with the FBI a federal agency, or working intelligence

623
00:41:25.599 --> 00:41:28.639
and you stumbled upon something you're not allowed to talk about.

624
00:41:28.920 --> 00:41:31.840
And if you're a firefighter, paramedic, or search and rescue

625
00:41:31.880 --> 00:41:35.760
responder who's heard screams or found tracks that didn't make sense.

626
00:41:36.280 --> 00:41:39.679
If you're in the logging industry on a remote oil

627
00:41:39.760 --> 00:41:42.960
field or a trucker with government contracts and you've had

628
00:41:42.960 --> 00:41:46.599
something happen that you've never told a soul. And if

629
00:41:46.599 --> 00:41:50.280
you're a biologist, a wildlife specialist, or a field researcher

630
00:41:50.440 --> 00:41:54.079
under contract who has found evidence you're not allowed to report.

631
00:41:54.599 --> 00:41:57.079
If you're a pastor, a missionary, or someone on a

632
00:41:57.119 --> 00:42:00.639
spiritual retreat and you saw something that shook your faith,

633
00:42:01.280 --> 00:42:04.400
or if you work in the shadows, CIA, NSA or

634
00:42:04.440 --> 00:42:07.800
anything with clearance and you've seen what the public hasn't,

635
00:42:09.159 --> 00:42:12.639
then I want to talk to you, even if it's anonymous.

636

You can reach me at Bigfoot Society at gmail dot com.

637
00:42:18.360 --> 00:42:20.800

639
00:42:27.159 --> 00:42:31.000

642
00:42:36.400 --> 00:42:39.559
bigger and stranger than we think, and that the truth

643
00:42:39.599 --> 00:42:42.440
is often hiding just beyond the tree line. If you
