9-Foot Monster in the Holler | Missouri

You've got the privilege of talking to David today. David is an individual from down in Missouri, and he's had some really interesting things happen over the last few years. So I've invited him onto the show to share what he's been experiencing. Welcome to the show, David, How are you, Hey?

We were just talking about how the weather's starting to get a little bit nicer here in the Midwest, that corn sweat is cleared out out hopefully, and and things are getting a little bit cooler. So this weekend they're calling they're calling for that corn sweat be coming back this weekend. Oh it's back, all right, Well we'll see. At least for days. As far as what I heard. Oh man. Yeah, people not in the Midwest have no idea what we're talking about, but you guys can look it up. It gets pretty wild. So yeah, David, let's let's make the best of our our time today. Uh. And you know, feel free to to take us back to when this whole interest and bigfoot started for you.

1:39 How about we start there? Okay, okay, So, uh, that would be back when I was about seven years old in Dover, Delaware. It was a snowy day, so there was snow out on the ground. Me and my brother, who was older than I am, was outside in the snow and we came around to the front yard and there were footprints in the snow and they were barefoot footprints. And at that time, seven years. Old, you know, I didn't know what a bigfoot was, didn't know what sasquatch was, We didn't know anything, and so we freaked out and started screaming, and my dad came outside and asked what the commotion was about, and we said, well, there's these tracks right here, and they were, as far as I can remember, they were only twenty feet from the front porch and they were going parallel with the porch. So if there's a sidewalk up under the snow that goes towards the road directly from the porch screen door, so it was going to cross sat walkway, but you couldn't see the walkway because of the snow.

3:03 But the tracks were. Going, and my father came over there and looked, and he followed the tracks to a fence that we had, which was an electric fence because we had goats. We were living on a small farm. So the track I don't remember if it was left or right. It was too long ago, but I remember seeing one track on one side of the fence, and then the next track was on the other side of the fence, and the. Trackway continued through the woods. And it was at that point right there that my father told us to get in the house.

3:50 And so that's what we did. We got in the house. I don't know what he did. I don't remember what he did. And so that, like. As I got older, that triggered that experience triggered my interest in crypto stuff. What year in Delaware was that? Oh, let's see, I was born in seventy one, so seventy let's say I was seven years old seventy eight, Yeah, somewhere in there. And another thing growing up, they used our parents used to tell us be home before dark or the dusk man will get you. And at the time, I didn't know what the heck that was, you know, but that refers to Bigfoot or a sasquatch. And I didn't live in the city of Deverar, Delaware. I lived out in the country away.

4:58 I think it was Kingdom Kingdom County might. Have been that. I really don't remember this this county. It was somewhere over there, but it was out in the country. It wasn't real far from Dover, but it was out in the country and it was all wood It was. All wooded land, like heck man. Behind our house, we had like a huge garden, probably five acre garden. Behind that was a canal. That went up from the back of our property, went up and made a tea, went left and right and it was just all woods back up in there.

5:43 Mhmm. Yeah. How how big were the tracks approximately do you think. I say, we're way bigger than my father's with Prince I would this would only be a guess, but they look. If I had to, I don't even I. Don't even know how to answer that, because you know, it's been so long ago. I remember I see the picture in my head of the tracks in the snow and how long they were, I don't know, sixteen inches if I had to guess, yeah, yeah, yeah, there were big tracks. And like I said, they were barefoot and they were deep in the snow and you could see the toe. I remember seeing the toe, all the toes.

6:39 The snow was all compact, so you know, it wasn't like a fluffy snow where if you try to you'll see it wasn't that much snow on the ground to begin with, probably two or three inches at that time. And I don't remember what. I don't remember if it was November, December, January, or February. Just remember it was cold outside when we were playing in the snow. And we found them tracks in the front yard. Called our father. He immediately told us. Once he made it to the fence line and seeing the tracks, one stepped over the fence the fence. Was gosh, five foot tall, perhaps.

7:20 Maybe four foot tall, And yeah, it was just that just started it at all. Wow. One last question about that, okay, part of your story there. Did you guys ever have any situations with the goats on the farm or other animals where you know they would come up dead or or killed? Yeah, there was, I remember there was. I don't know the circumstances now, but I know our chickens used to come up missing.

8:00 Quite a few goats came up missing. Yeah, and we also had a pony on our farm, but he was always kept inside at nighttime. He was never outside during nighttime. Okay, gotcha. Yeah, any for the for the those smaller ones, were the head's ever ripped off or or legs broken or anything like that. Oh, I don't know anything about that. I just recalled my father saying that something killed the chickens again, or something killed another goat. But he never said what it was, never told us what kind of condition was in or anything.

8:47 And I never seen it. I just recall him mentioning it. So, yeah, that's that's very interesting. You definitely did have quite quite the start at a young age, but you know, feel free to continue where this took you in your life having this experience. Yeah, So my father, he was in the military. He was a civilian employee for the military, and he worked on classified stuff. And in nineteen seventy nine he got transferred to Homestead, Florida. He put in a bid for Anchorage, Alaska or Homestead, Florida. Well, he ended up went in the bid for the Homestead, Florida job, and that put us right at the very end, close to where the Everglades are and all that, and we lived there. I never had any experiences down there, but when we moved up to Northern Florida due to the violence down in that area of South Florida.

10:04 In nineteen eighty six. So from seventy nine to nineteen eighty six we lived in South Florida, and then we moved to Northern Florida. In nineteen eighty six. All the area in this little town I lived in, which was in. Clay County, Florida. I won't get the name of the town, but I'll tell you the county. It was all wooded. There was several lakes around the area, all wooded though it was out in the country again, and there were several occasions.

10:54 When I used to ride, I had a dirt bike. I used to ride the trails with my friends and to avoid taking the road so we didn't get in trouble with the police. We used to take the trails through the woods. To go to the store, which was, I don't know, a couple miles away. But there were several occasions I never seen anything but the hair on the back of my neck would stand up on several occasions riding through these trails, and everyone were the trails weren't around any houses, they were just you know, through the woods, and so I remember that, and then it wasn't until I moved to Missouri that I had my encounters. I moved to Missouri in two thousand and eight with a job transfer from Florida, and I lived out close to Springfield, Missouri.

12:01 But it wasn't until I get over. The Saint Francis County that I started having these experiences. And so that was back in two thousand and eight. So I lived on the west side of Missouri until let's see, it was twenty twelve, and then I moved into Madison County, which is by Fredericktown. There is Cherokee Pass which is close to twelve Mile Creek where I had another experience. Twelve Mile Creek is borderlines mark tween Poors and it's in Cherokee Pass and so me and my girlfriend at the time were just exploring the creek.

13:01 There was like a sandbar in the middle of the creek that didn't have water, and the water ran on both sides of the sandbar, and there was a little water in the hall where you could go swimming and whatnot. And there wasn't nobody else out there. It was out in the middle of nowhere. Her family owned acreage farther down the river, but we weren't anywhere close to that. But it's out in the middle of nowhere. And we found footprints going across the sandbar, and I remember those Those were eighteen inches long and you could clearly see the toe on print everything.

13:48 It looked like it was dragging. Something along beside it because there was like a gouge mark and sandy gravel a pebbles. Man that was that made the hair on my back of my next stand up too. And that was out of twelve Mile Creek in Cherokee Pass right below. I don't know if it's if that's part of Madison County or not. Are you familiar with that area? You know, I've talked to a few people from down in southern Missouri. I haven't visited visited it yet myself, though.

14:33 Okay, okay, yeah, yeah, So I lived there until let's see, well, I bought property while I was still living in Madison County and up here in Saint Francis County where I'm currently living now. And at the time when I bought the property where I'm at, it was all wooded except for the front front area where the road is. It was kind of. Uh, just like mossy grass, didn't get a lot of sun type soil. But when I bought the property, I used to camp in my neighbor's lot behind me, in his driveway, and I had a van and the van was set up like a camper van. So I used to camp there on the weekends while I cleaned my lug.

15:36 And I used to find bare footprints coming, you know, coming from the road up through my property. And at the time, it didn't even dawn on me, you know, bigfoot sasquatch or nothing. I was just like, well, who the hook would be out here walking through my yard barefoot, you know, and. One evening. When I was, you know, inside that van camping or getting ready to get to sleep, there was I heard. Something in the bushes.

16:17 And it sounded like a grun or something, and I immediately got up and went outside. I thought maybe it. Was like a dog or something, but I never did see anything. And then so I cleared out my property. I moved to. Camper onto my property, and by twenty seventeen I was living in that camper on my property. It was a little. Shastna I think it was sixteen foot long, and at the time. As I was working in the same general.

16:59 Area where I was living, so it was pretty convenient for me, and I lived off grade. I had a generator, I had solar panels. I was roughing it. I never lived like that like that in my life, and so anyway, i'd moved out there in twenty seventeen. It was I. Moved out in January, so I was partially through winter, and then when spring came along, I had my generator going. It was April the twelfth. And it's kind of hard to talk about really because I was really freaked out. But so I was in my camper you know, it was a nighttime. It was a calm night. I had my head leaned against the window of the camper, just listening to everything, and I shut my generator off. I had a fob that would shut my generator off or started, and I shut it off getting ready for bed, and I was just listening to the crickets and everything, you know, all the four stuff I could finally hear with the generator off. And then I don't know, it was probably ten or fifteen minutes went past, just listening, and all that stuff just stopped all at once, and I couldn't hear nothing.

18:27 It was like somebody turned the light switch. And I was like, what the heck's going on? You know, So I walked out to my front. I had it like a wood deck out there that I built in front of my camper. And I walked out and I stood around. I couldn't hear no crickets. I couldn't hear no frogs. I couldn't hear nothing. And I freaked out and I went inside, locked the door, and I laid in bed, and I'm getting ready for bed, and then I heard some rustling through the woods, because there's woods right next to my property. Here on both sides of my property there's woods and behind me there's woods. And I heard some rustling and then I heard this loud crack on a tree, just like somebody took a baseball back or something really hard and smacked a tree. Because it was like, you know, it made a real solid sound like that, and I was like, in my head, I was like, what the f you know, And.

19:43 It was like it was like a light switch in. My head came on and it was like, dude, you just heard a tree knock. And then that's when the panics set in. Because you know, at the time, I never really experienced personally. And so then after the tree knock, I could hear metal crinkling. And this was a couple It was probably about forty five yards away. I had a metal shed over there. Eventually I figured out that it was something pressing against It sounded like somebody pressed against the metal shed because you could hear the metal crinkle in. And then I heard some more rustling around and I felt this. It was like a vibration in my chest. I could feel the vibration in my chest. My cat was freaking out, she was hissing, she was up in the window hissing, and it was a real bad smell. I couldn't even describe the smell. It just smelled really bad.

21:11 And I felt petrified. I've never been I've never in my life been that scared and terrified. I was frozen with fear in my bed. I couldn't move, and at the time I had a cold and I had to cough, and I ended up putting a pillow over my face and coughing into the pit of pillow as lightly as I could, because I felt in my mind that this thing was coming. Closer to me, and. My cat kept hissing and whatnot, and then nothing really came over and disturbed me.

21:57 But it felt like it, you know, I could feel fear. I was terrified, petrified, and eventually, just give me a second, dude, like it happened yesterday thinking about it. So eventually. I could hear this thing walking away through the gravel, and it sounded like it was dragging something behind it or dragging something. And then it let out this. It sounded like a whoop, but it was more like a screaming whoop.

22:41 It was loud. I could feel it feel it in my chest, and. So I don't know, thirty seconds or so went by after that, and it was like somebody flipped the light switch and the crickets came back, the frogs came back, and the forest was back to normal. And I didn't go right to sleep. I was trying to rationalize in my mind what was what was going on, you know, because. You know, I've seen TV shows about Bigfoot.

23:21 And I never thought for a moment that that would ever happen to me. You know, I never thought that I would experience anything like that. And the very next day. Before work, I got up and I walked over next door and I took pictures of stuff, and there was damage to the shed. It looked like somebody put their hand on the shed and their weight pushed it in. There was a crate of eggs that was bad that I had sitting over there. It looked like somebody stuck their hands straight into the crate of eggs, and you know, it was eating the eggs that was in there. I didn't see any tracks in the gravel because the gravel was like three quarter inch tight gravel. But in the road, in the road man, there was there was a huge footprint.

24:29 I took a picture of it. I put down a tape measure, put my foot beside it. And this footprint was probably I don't know, forty between forty and sixty yards from my camper in the middle of the gravel road, which was a compressed gravel road, you know what I'm saying, Like, I couldn't even if I tried to stomp up and down a way about t if I try to stump up and down in the road, which I was trying to do a little bit away from this print, and I couldn't even put in dentation in the road. And I only found one track in the road. The other track, which was the right leg or right foot, was on the other side of the road, close to the ditch.

25:31 So that really freaked me out because you know, that showed me there was something heavy, you know, that stepped there, and it looked like a human footprint. It didn't look like a bear. It didn't look like a double step from a bear, because I've seen double step footprints from bears and from hunting and stuff. But yeah, I immediately freaked back out and started recalling the night before, and I went on bfr his website, and I ended up filing a report about my incident, and I had somebody by the name of Carter call me and I explained to him what happened. I emailed him all the pictures, the footprints that I found and whatnot, and told me about my story, and he assured me that I didn't have nothing to fear. But man, he wasn't there, you know.

26:42 So so that was my initial experience, my first hardcore experience out here in northeast Saint Francis County, which borderlines Saint Genevieve County. And years following that, there was other experiences where I'd be out here, not in my camper, but I have a cabin now and it sits on my property. I don't even have that camper anymore. But there was times where I would hear screams at nighttime, you know, like ten o'clock, between ten o'clock and one am.

27:42 Not all the time, but you would hear it off in the distance, and it sounded like a like a banchiere or something. It was just loud and you could hear it, you know, you could tell it was far off, but you could tell it wasn't like it wasn't a coyote at the pitch was too high and it was too drawn out to be a coyote. And then a few moments later you would hear another. Scream, but from a different direction, like something answered it, you know, And that always happened in the springtime, and then a fall around here. And all this area around here is wooded. It's all foothills and small mountains, and there's farms surrounding this area, a lot of livestock in this area, a lot of deer, you know what, a lot of turkeys, deer, foxes, squirrels, raccoons, you know, all the normal wildlife stuff. There's mountain lions out here, there's bears out here. Yeah, So that was I started noticing a pattern, you know, every spring and fall that I would hear tree knocks off in the distance, screams off

29:12 in the distance. And then in twenty eighteen, I think of who might have been twenty nineteen. There's a Dollar General outside of where I lived, and or down the road from where I lived, and I used to drive up there before work, you know, get a snack or something for breakfast. And I had did all that and I was up at the counter and this woman that I knew, who was working there told me that some old man had come in there previous to my visit and said that he's seen a bigfoot on this certain road.

30:05 And this certain road is two and a half blocks away from where I lived. And I was like what, and she was like, yeah, he was on his way to work and seen across the road onto this other road, which is just two and a half blocks away. And I was like, wow, that's pretty cool. But in my head I was starting to freak out from my experience in twenty seventeen, so I was like, all right, cool, thanks for that info, and then I went on about my day, went to work, got off work, thinking about it all throughout the day.

30:48 You know, this thing. At the time, I was thinking, you know, if this is what this man seen, and it was. It was also in April at this time. It was. I want to say it was April fourth, I think. But anyway, my day went on and I got home and I had this bright idea that I would do a couple of tree knocks to see if I could get any response. And it was probably about four or five in the afternoon, and I did a couple of tree knocks and nothing happened. And then I said, well, let's wait till it gets darker, like dusk, just about sunset, where you can't see the sun over the foothills anymore.

31:55 And then I I chicken myself out. I didn't do it. And then I said, well, it's almost dark, you better do it. And so I got up and I had a steak. That you would hammer in the ground. We were gonna steak out, you know, to build a house or whatever left over befo when I built my cabin, and I picked that up. It was just about dark, and I smacked a tree twice. It was pretty loud, and I didn't hear nothing, and I didn't hear no response, and so I sat back down on the steps and it was damned near dark, and so I'll give it one more try, and I get up and I smacked on this tree twice, man in good solid hits. No more than I could turn around and face the direction.

33:04 I could hear something running towards me. And it was big, and it was moving the limbs out of its way, because there wasn't no like leaves or anything on the trees yet, so it's just a bare limbs. But you could hear the limbs of the trees, you know, the small bushes and whatnot whipping off of this thing. You could hear, you know, and you could you could hear the footsteps coming at you. Now, just for context, I live on one ridge and there's a holler. I don't know if you're familiar with what a holler is.

33:45 I am, but do you mind describing it? There's some listeners that. Yeah, yeah, yeah, So I live on one bridge and then the property in front of me is kind of level, but then it dips down real sharp in the back, and it goes down into this like a valley, and then it comes up real sharp on the other side, and there's another ridge. So that valley in between that we call that the holler basically. And so this thing was on the next ridge running towards me, So it had to run down that holler, which is really steep and rocky. And then there's some bluffs over there, And if you're not familiar what bluffs are, they're just rock croppings that are jagged and part of the landscape and whatnot.

34:43 And anyhow, this thing ran up stop just inside the tree line. Before I could even turn around and drop that steak, I had in my hand, and I was freaking out my head. Man. I had a flashlight with me too, and I was panning this flashlight and I couldn't see it. I couldn't see it. I couldn't see it, and I couldn't hear nothing. And then I heard this. Oh it was awful, dude. It was like it was kind of like a growl, but it was like it felt like it had vibration to it, and if I had it almost sounded like, you know how like a tiger gives that growl.

35:37 You ever heard that? Yeah, kind of, it's like really deep and rumby. Yeah, really deep and rumbley. But I could feel it in my body and I still couldn't see this thing, whatever it was. And then when it made that noise, I wasn't even shining my light where I heard the noise. So I panned to the left where I heard the noise, and I seen the eye shine I seen. This thing was so freaking huge, dude. Okay, there's this tree that's across the street from my house, and it's on the slope part, not right before the drop off where it drops off into the holler, but it's like right before that.

36:23 But this tree goes. Up and two branches fork out, forming like a y, and this thing's head was in between that why, But this tree was big. It was probably I don't know. Three foot across, you know, in diameter, very pretty good sized oak tree. But anyway, this thing was so huge that this tree couldn't even hide it. Like I seen the left leg, the left tip, massive left shoulder area, massive arms. I could see the I could see some of the pace, but not all of it.

37:07 Like I said, the eyes were in the middle of this y, and I could see the top of the skull, and it was in this home shape. But this thing was massive, dude, And I said out aloud, I said, oh, there you are. And then well then seconds, man, it just the eyeshine went away, and I could hear just moving. Off away from me. But I thought for sure that. Because at one point when I was you know, it's like time stands still when you see stuff like this, you. Know, And.

37:49 I was probably only ten foot away from my front door, man, and this thing was probably seventy yards away. But in my mind, I'm trying to rationalize how quick it got from the other ridge to my ridge. It had to go down this hot, you know, down into the holler, up to my side, and get to where it was at you know, was further away from if it just went straight, you know, if it had to come, you know, straight at me, it would have been way closer. But it didn't. It like it had to have gone like at an angle, you know what I'm saying.

38:33 Down the holler, up to the side where my ridge is, and then behind this tree. Because the tree was way far to the left where I was. I wasn't even looking over there because I was thinking it was going to come. I thought it was coming straight at me, is what I thought. But anyway, I thought in my head while I was looking at this thing, man, from how quick that thing made it over. It, I wouldn't be able to make it to my front door. And it was only ten feet It's only ten feet away from where I smacked on this tree. And I just stood there staring at it. But yeah, I could see its left calf muscle. I could see it was all hairy, it was black. It was just massive, and this tree was big. And I can take a picture and send it to you. Man, it just couldn't hide behind this tree. I didn't see the right part because of the angle I was standing, but I sure did see the whole left side of it, the eyes, and I couldn't see the lips, but I've seen the coon head.

39:44 It was just. Massive, man, And I freaked out, and I ended up calling that guy Carter, and I was telling him about it from the BFRO. He said, Oh, man, you ain't got nothing to worry about it. If it wanted to get you, would have got you. And how did that make you feel? It? I'll tell you, man, Yeah, you know, if you never experience it for yourself, if you never. It was kind of like a relief. But it wasn't you know, because you hear stories about sightings out west, how they're aggressive or out in the Everglades, how the skunk cates are aggressive and whatnot. But you just never know, you know, it could be they might be having a bad day and take it out on you, you know what I'm saying. So you really don't know, And so yeah, I just I'm still cautious, you know, Like I still hear and it's always in the springtime between like the last week of February till June. The first week in June, I still hear screams like this year, man, I heard one of my cats was fighting with something

41:16 down in that holler across the street from me. And this was back in May, and it was dark. You know, and I didn't think, you know, I'm just out there with a flashlight looking for my cat. And so I'm hollering back there, you know, for my cat. I can see the cat across the holler going up, you know where the it starts going uphill, you know, it's a steep uphill thing, and I can see. My cat over there at the very bottom of it. He's I don't know what he's got. He's got something. He's killing something over there, you know.

41:58 And then off to my left, I hear tree knock, and that immediately got my attention. And then no sooner than I heard the first one. A little bit up from where I heard that first one, on the left, I heard another one, and I was like, in my head, I was like, if this, I'm going home, and I walked back to the I walked back to my yard, and from where I heard it, you know, it sounded close, and you know, I live at a dead end. Road, so it's like a culver sack down here. And the road hack gets probably only five wonder you heard, it's long into the main road, and then across the street from that is Saint Jennevie's County and it's all wooded, but it's all wooded around me here too, so but it's really wooded back in there.

43:02 And then it turns into farmland the farther back you get in there. But yeah, it sounded like they was in right on the other side of that street, because I've seen signs. Over there, you know, like I don't know if you want. To call them tree markers or I don't know what you'd call them. They're just they're oddly plays tree limbs, I'll just say that. And they're big tree limbs, and they're not really tree limbs there like whole trees, you know. I'm saying, they're just huge. But I don't know until I see a big foot.

43:46 Making something like that. I can't really say a bigfoot made something like that. I can only theioralize, you know. But yeah, that's uh. I agree with you. It's it's like it would be nice if we could actually see one do that, because I've been in areas like you're talking about, and yeah, you see the stuff, but man, it would be cool to actually see them make like a big ax out of two whole trees or you know, all that jazz. But yeah, it's it's weird stuff there. Yeah, and that's close to my house. Well, that's only a block away, you know, where I found those. And then on the other side of this lake where I'm at, I found ones over there in the woods.

44:39 But they're different. They're not the same as the ones over here. They're different. They're smaller, they're not nearly as large. But like I said, until I see one make one, I can't really say that's what made it, you know, because man could have did it somehow. Yeah. Yeah, this whole area around here, I got to look and researching, and this whole area is just like report after report of bigfoot sightings. Crump County. Down in Cape Girardo. It was shortly after I had my twenty seventeen experience. There was a farmer found a trackway of twenty two inch footprints.

45:33 And that was a. I don't remember how far it went on his farm, but I remember hearing about it on the news. And that's only like an hour from here south Cape Girardo and yeah, so there's been reports all throughout this area. And another thing I've noticed too is. Since I had twenty seventeen encounter, I installed security cameras. You know, they got the infrared and whatnot, and I since I upgraded to four K, but I noticed they don't come around the house with those cameras up. At least I haven't heard them approach my house like I used to hear them approach when I was before I had the cameras and whatnot. So I don't know if they're able to see infrared or not. I've heard rumors that they can, but it's just kind of odd that since I put them cameras up, they just I don't hear the the I don't older present. I'll just put it that way. You can tell when something's around you,

47:05 you know, your gut instincts or you know, just has Spidey sense or whatever you wanted, sixth sense. I don't know what it would be called, right, you know. What I'm saying. He can just tell something, right, you know that's around you. But I haven't felt that since I had put them cameras in. Okay, are you using those cameras more as a deterrent. Then hmm, no, I put them up trying to catch evidence of them because you know, I would tell my neighbors and they looked at me like I was stupid and crazy, and then I felt stupid and crazy per toning them. You know, but it happened to me. You know, I can't deny what happened to me. You know it happened.

48:02 You know, it petrified me in a sense. And then and then Carter, he tries to convince me it's okay, there's no reason to be scared. But like I told him, I was like, man, he wasn't there. You know what I'm saying. You weren't there to feel what I felt. You know. Yeah, I'm getting better. I'm getting a little better. Though. I got a side by side and I won't I'll put it this way. I don't drive it at night through the trails like. I used to, since I experience in twenty seventeen and.

48:49 In twenty eighteen, twenty nineteen, I. I don't drive it through the woods. That's all I can say. At nighttime unless I got. Somebody with me, and I even got a you know, I got a thermal camera too that I can mount to my side by side, and I can put it up on a little tablet, you know, on a bigger screen so I can see what's in front of you. I still don't the I still don't do it by myself. And I'm fifty four years old. Man. It's kind of embarrassing in a way. But I just know what I've been. Through, you know what I'm saying, And yeah, it has me on edge. Yeah, there's there's a part of me where it's got me on edge because you really don't know the intentions of these animals or half humans. This thing kind of looked human. Just look hairy, you know, and and big.

49:55 You know. So you got the Bible talks about giants. I see a lot of these TV shows they want to classify it as a primate. I don't think it's a prime aid. I think it's more human than a primate. It's just hairy and yeah. So wow, So you really don't know what their intentions are, you know what I'm saying, a. Few things to comment on. So, Okay, Carter's a good guy. I've talked to him before, I've interviewed him. He is a good guy. I think, you know, I know why He said that he was trying to, you know, make you feel better, which is great, you know, but you know what happened, right, I mean you lived it, so.

50:42 Yeah, I felt it. Man, I built the beer. And it's it's almost like like they're growling with ultrasound or. What is it called the infrasound. Yeah, infrasound, Yeah, like a tiger does. Because you I could feel that in my rib cage. Man, you know what I'm saying, even on twenty seventeen. It was just like it wasn't even a growl. It was just like this. I could barely hear it, but I felt it more than I could hear it, you know what I'm saying. And man, it just it, you know, because I was moving into bed. And then when when I felt this, dude, I was just like I didn't.

51:26 I was. I was like a toothpit frozen in my bed. In my stupid cat man. She kept going up to the corner of the window and hissing, and I'm thinking, in my head, come on, cat, don't do that. That thing is going to come over here. You know, That's what I was thinking in my head. And at one point it did start approaching my camper, but for some reason it stopped and went the other way. Thank god it did that. Yeah, I was pat That was my first encounter, you know, personal encounter. Yeah, it's just it's crazy to start at that point.

52:08 I mean, that's wild. Yeah, because I didn't have nobody to call. There ain't nobody around me. You know, my closest my closest neighbor that was probably at their property was a mile away. They're not going to hear me scream, you know what I'm saying. Oh sure, So it was just me, my cat and it man, what you know? Yeah, and then that footprints. Have you ever talked to your your neighbors and to see if they've experienced weird stuff too? Oh yeah, they yeah, they say they haven't seen nothing.

That's terrible, that's what they call it is terrible because you know they I don't know why people are like that. People are just like. The but they can think whatever they want. You know, I know what I experienced. I know the fear I felt. I know what I've seen across the street from my house and between that tree and I know what I heard before I seen that, and it sounded big, you know, and then't when I seen it.

53:32 You know, it was huge. This tree couldn't even hide it. Man, I don't know what this thing was thinking, trying to hide behind this tree, but it could. You know. It's funny because to me, it's comical when I think about it now, because obviously this thing was trying to hide behind a tree, you know, but I guess it thought I couldn't see it, but this tree was. It was like a telephone pole. It'd be like a bigfoot trying to hide behind the telephone pole. But the tree is huge, you know, it's big around, but it's still couldn't It wasn't wide enough to hide this big foot.

54:17 That's how big it was. And it was just mascular, dude. It looked like if I if I, if I. Try to put pinpoint anything that would come close, it would be like putting hair on the Incredible Hulk and making them really tall but that muscular, and then putting. Hair on them. That's how big it was. It was just huge, and it didn't look like a gorilla. It wasn't built like a gorilla. It looked like a hairy oversized, muscular human.

I didn't see any I couldn't see any reflection of claws, you know, you know how like bears sometimes at at the angle or claws a certain way or something you could see like a little hint of purple or something because of the what do they called, uh, you know how like if you trim your dog's nails other quick or whatever. Oh sure, yeah, yeah, so yeah, I just know what I experienced, and. It was just terrifying.

A way, if I look, if I look at it as a open mind thing, I'm privileged to have experienced what I have. But I'm damned at the same time, you know, because I can't erase what happened to me. You know, I can't erase his memories. That's true. You're it's it's with you forever, and it's it's forever affected you. Even though it sounds like you are starting to get a handle on it. It definitely has always affected you. Yeah, I have a few questions about about what you saw, if that's all right.

56:38 Yeah, that's one. So you mentioned it was the left side of it and you saw the eyes. Do you remember did you happen to see if it had any whites around the pupils or if it was all just dark? No? No, The only thing that I can see was the eye shine, and the eye shine was white. It looked like it looked like diamonds. Man, the way it just reflected back at me. It was white. It wasn't red. Now I have seen red eyeshine in the woods before, but they weren't yellow.

57:23 They were white. It was just white eyeshine reflecting back at me. And it was bright white. It wasn't like a dull white. If I had to guess and try to compare something that's close to what I seen, it would be the driveway reflectors that are white, or the white reflectors on a police car. You know how it's got that diamond type reflection to it. That's what it was. And then when I panned the flashlight up a little higher, I could see the outline of the dumed head and that was all furry. The left shoulder, which protruded out from behind this tree a good two foot I could see it's left.

58:16 There was no hair below its neck. There was no hair there, and the hair didn't start on its breastplate area until about midway down, so I could see the muscular part of it's left, the chest muscle. The arms were huge, man, they were. I couldn't even guess how big around they were. They were just huge. This thing was huge, man. And anyway, I went out the next day and I measured this tree to where I seen approximately where I seen this eyeshine in between this, you know, the two branches broke out left and right, so it made like a y at the top of this tree, and that measured nine feet so to the you know where the two limbs split apart, It was nine feet to that part. So the eyeshine was a little bit above that, and then the head above that.

59:24 So I'm guessing nine and a half feet tall, and plus the ground sloping right there from my advantage point, you know, because I'm up higher. I'm on I'm on just about on top of this ridge right here, so it's probably a good five six foot drop and elevation to where this tree is from my property, and then it drops off directly behind that. It drops off going into the holler. And this thing was tall, was big, it was muscular, and it was hairy, and it wasn't all hairy like like I said, up under its neck and part of his chest was not hairy. It was like a not like a purplish color, but like it was almost purple, but kind of like a dark grayish purple.

1:00:25 In his hands weren't hairy either. They were the same color as that part of his chest. The back of his hands wasn't hairy. They just looked like large human hands. But they were real long. His fingers were really long, Okay, I remember that. And I didn't really get a good glimpse. At his thumb. Because I was just like pinning all over the place, you know, trying to keep my flashlight on this thing and whatnot. But yeah, it was huge, man, I. Just made a connection in my head. So you said, were you saying the skin or the hair was purplish?

1:01:13 The skin really, yeah it was. It was like a dark purplish gray color. And the fur was black, it was jet black. But the skin, the skin looked like a like a dull, deep dark purplish gray color. And it was the same way for the back of his hands, and I couldn't see the front, you know, the palm. I couldn't see the palm of his hand, so I don't know what color that was, sure, But the left arm went below his knee on the left side, and I couldn't see his right arm. I couldn't see any part of his right side of his body because the angle that I was standing at the tree was covered that portion, you know what I'm saying.

1:02:02 And yeah, it was just huge. And this whole time that I'm looking at this thing, you know, I'm thinking, you know, the front doors right there is just tend to feet away. But then I was I was actually having an argument in my head because as quick as this, you know, the ridge across where this holler is, it's not close. It's by god, no means close. It's probably two blocks away to the next ridge. You know, it's a big span, but it goes down into those holler, and it made it from over there to this tree within seconds, man, within seconds. And if I had to if I had to guess with seconds, I'm talking twelve seconds maybe, Oh wow, Yeah, it.

1:02:58 Was quick, dude. You could hear the limbs because there wasn't no leaves on the trees yet. All those limbs were bare, and you could you know, how like if you put like a vinyl jacket on and you run through the woods, you can hear that whipping sound coming off the limbs. That's what it sounded like. And it was coming. I thought it was coming right. I thought it was coming directly at me. So I had my flashlight directly ahead. It was all woods. I couldn't really see in there, but for security, you know, in your head, you got a flashlight. Yeah, exactly, I'm saying you might. You might find this interesting. I So I was an Oregon a month ago at a festival and a woman told me her account about how just outside of Oakridge, an Oregon her RV camper had been attacked. And but the weird thing is that applies to this account is that her son had reported seeing what he called a purple bigfoot. And after hearing what you've said now, it makes me wonder if what he saw was the hair was purple, or maybe he saw one with skin that looked purplish gray like you did.

The fur was black on what I've seen, and the skin was it was like a you could tell it was purple, but it looked great too at the same time. Like purple and gray mixed together. I don't know how to explain it other than that. Absolutely. Another thing that I wanted to bring up, and I've just found this in my looking into your area is there's also there's an interesting other legend of a local creature in your county called the Catman of dough Run And uh, oh really have you ever heard of this one?

1:05:04 No? Okay, So it's interesting because it's described as humanoid and it will attack cars at night. It's blamed for livestock being killed. And this goes back all the way to the nineteen thirties and the forties, so they usually would be seen near a bridge and dough Run. But just you know, kind of an interesting catman. Yeah, it's called the catman kind of of how it looks like but in the face area, but the things it's doing kind of I don't know. That kind of sounds like it could be bigfoot behavior in a little bit, but I don't know. Just another interesting thing about your area.

Have you ever talked to Miguel about this? No? I did. I do watch his videos, and. I did send him an email, okay, And I told him about my BFR report. Sure, and I told him that I told him that there wasn't no need for him to come out here. No, okay, I just wanted to share. I just wanted to share my story with him. Yeah, absolutely, But okay, cool, Wow, David, what what? Man?

But it'd be interesting if you had an area that is not your place you're living in, but on the same property, and you could put the cameras over there and like put them towards I don't. Know, oh, like where, like where I know they're traveling, because like, like I've come up with a hypothesis is that these things are migratory beings, okay. And because.

Said, I only have these had have had these experience is between the end of February and the first week of June or September when it starts cooling down, and maybe the first we in November and then so that led me to believe that they're migratory, being.
