In this episode, we delve into the experiences of Doug, a former paramedic and deputy sheriff whose life has taken him from the rural backroads of southern Illinois to the mountains and timberlands of Washington State. Now living deep in the forests outside Shelton in Mason County, Doug shares a series of events that began quietly and have grown increasingly difficult to ignore.

Doug describes strange environmental changes around his remote property—wildlife suddenly falling silent, trees twisted and pushed over along logging roads, and large rocks appearing where they hadn’t been before. Long before his recent sighting, there were other moments that caught his attention: unusual sounds in the woods late at night, odd structures in the trees, and a powerful musky odor drifting in from nearby forests.

Everything shifted when Doug noticed something moving through the trees near the highway not far from his home. What he saw walking away into the forest forced him to reconsider years of strange occurrences across multiple states.

Doug carefully recounts the details of what he has witnessed, along with the patterns he has begun to notice in the wilderness surrounding his home. His story offers a rare glimpse into what it can feel like to live in the middle of an area where activity seems to be building.

Join us as we explore Doug’s experiences in the forests of western Washington and the growing mystery unfolding in the woods near Shelton.

You're listening to Bigfoot Society and I'm Jeremiah Byron. In

2
00:00:03.160 --> 00:00:05.879
this show, we go beyond the campfire stories to bring

3
00:00:05.879 --> 00:00:08.720
you first hand encounters from people who say they've seen

4
00:00:08.839 --> 00:00:12.880
something impossible. From backwoods trails and remote mountain haulers to

5
00:00:12.960 --> 00:00:16.719
quiet farms and crowded highways. The stories come from everywhere,

6
00:00:16.760 --> 00:00:19.719
and each one leaves us with more questions than answers.

7
00:00:20.719 --> 00:00:24.000
These are the voices of the people who've lived it.

8
00:00:24.079 --> 00:00:27.440
To settle in, because today you'll hear another account that

9
00:00:27.600 --> 00:00:30.160
just might change the way you see the woods forever.

10
00:00:30.440 --> 00:00:33.679
So stay with us, all right, Welcome back to another

11
00:00:33.719 --> 00:00:37.240
episode of the Bigfoot Society podcast. I have the privilege

12
00:00:37.280 --> 00:00:40.280
of talking to Doug today. Welcome to the show, sir.

13
00:00:40.359 --> 00:00:44.920
How are you doing today, John? Well, a little bit

14
00:00:45.000 --> 00:00:48.679
of background that Doug has provided. He was a paramedic

15
00:00:48.960 --> 00:00:53.520
in East Tennessee, also a deputy sheriff over there as well.

16
00:00:53.920 --> 00:01:00.399
He's currently in Washington State working with the Washington military

17
00:01:00.719 --> 00:01:05.280
in some forms and fashions, and we might hear more

18
00:01:05.319 --> 00:01:08.760
about Doug's background as well as we go along. But

19
00:01:09.959 --> 00:01:13.239
you know, Doug, how are things going out there in

20
00:01:13.319 --> 00:01:15.840
the West Coast where you're at.

21
00:01:17.719 --> 00:01:23.040
How they're actually going pretty well. Not The weather is

22
00:01:23.400 --> 00:01:27.439
calmed down and things have quieted down around here.

23
00:01:28.280 --> 00:01:33.200
You mentioned something off air that I found interesting, which

24
00:01:33.280 --> 00:01:37.400
is so you've experienced a lot of things, and you

25
00:01:37.439 --> 00:01:40.079
said it kind of feels like things have followed you

26
00:01:40.159 --> 00:01:43.959
around as you've gone from one side of the country

27
00:01:44.000 --> 00:01:46.400
to the other. Is that right?

28
00:01:48.200 --> 00:01:53.159
Yes? Yes, As you mentioned, I started my MS career

29
00:01:53.159 --> 00:01:58.000
in southern Illinois and it's pretty remote, very rural area.

30
00:01:59.000 --> 00:02:01.359
As a kid, I seen some things that I didn't

31
00:02:03.000 --> 00:02:07.840
associate with back then. You didn't hear anything about sasquash

32
00:02:07.920 --> 00:02:12.759
or bigfoot or anything in the seventies and eighties. So

33
00:02:12.879 --> 00:02:15.240
then we moved to Tennessee and things started picking up,

34
00:02:15.360 --> 00:02:18.520
and I heard stories from some of the locals there

35
00:02:18.520 --> 00:02:21.960
in East Tennessee, especially when you had a response time

36
00:02:22.000 --> 00:02:25.719
on the ambulance or the sheriff's department of two hours

37
00:02:25.759 --> 00:02:35.639
in the county. So these people there are not as

38
00:02:35.680 --> 00:02:38.840
social as they are here right especially here in Washington.

39
00:02:38.879 --> 00:02:42.960
It's very urban area out there. Scott County is one

40
00:02:42.960 --> 00:02:45.360
of the most remote counties in the state, but has

41
00:02:45.400 --> 00:02:49.400
more road miles than any county, so people don't call

42
00:02:49.439 --> 00:02:51.520
the Amaelis don't call the sheriff's department too much, and

43
00:02:51.560 --> 00:02:55.840
when you do, they're very cliquish, so they don't want

44
00:02:55.879 --> 00:02:58.280
to speak. But once you get there and get a rapport,

45
00:02:58.360 --> 00:03:00.680
then they start telling you things and so things that

46
00:03:00.800 --> 00:03:03.599
go on all over the United States, and most of

47
00:03:03.599 --> 00:03:07.240
my experience is out here in Washington, but there's probably

48
00:03:07.240 --> 00:03:09.560
been things in East Tennessee that I've seen that I

49
00:03:09.680 --> 00:03:14.199
just didn't associate with. That that's been forgotten over the years,

50
00:03:14.199 --> 00:03:17.800
over the last thirty years. That but things that really

51
00:03:17.840 --> 00:03:19.560
opened my eyes when I got here to Washington.

52
00:03:19.599 --> 00:03:23.520
I was just looking up Scott County, Tennessee, and it

53
00:03:23.960 --> 00:03:27.199
is definitely over there in a pretty wild area. I mean,

54
00:03:27.240 --> 00:03:31.919
you've got Big South Fork and it's just north of

55
00:03:32.439 --> 00:03:36.039
Catoosa and Frozen Head. Frozen Hat is a very very

56
00:03:36.080 --> 00:03:40.560
intense nature area with a lot of weirdness that goes

57
00:03:40.599 --> 00:03:41.400
on in there.

58
00:03:41.479 --> 00:03:46.280
For sure, there's a lot of remote territory there that nobody,

59
00:03:46.560 --> 00:03:47.199
nobody goes to.

60
00:03:49.080 --> 00:03:52.800
Just a double check. So when you were working as

61
00:03:52.800 --> 00:03:58.800
a paramedic or or sorry, deputy sheriff over there, do

62
00:03:58.840 --> 00:04:02.680
you remember any specific calls or hearing anything where people

63
00:04:02.759 --> 00:04:05.520
were talking about bigfoot or anything weird like that.

64
00:04:08.960 --> 00:04:11.400
I know, some of the full time deputies. Of course,

65
00:04:11.479 --> 00:04:13.080
most of the time I worked on the ambulance and

66
00:04:13.120 --> 00:04:16.040
I was a part time deputy, so most of my

67
00:04:16.120 --> 00:04:20.519
time was on the ambulance. But yeah, some of the

68
00:04:20.519 --> 00:04:23.560
full time deputies would tell stories of something. There was

69
00:04:23.600 --> 00:04:25.920
a lady called and something was looking in her window.

70
00:04:26.879 --> 00:04:31.120
There was one that his animals were killed. Don't know

71
00:04:31.120 --> 00:04:35.279
what it was. There was no you know, tracks or whatever.

72
00:04:35.319 --> 00:04:38.360
It was had to be large, you know, to kill

73
00:04:39.639 --> 00:04:44.600
their cows and their their sheep. So those are stories

74
00:04:44.600 --> 00:04:47.839
I heard there. And you know, back then, I didn't

75
00:04:47.839 --> 00:04:50.319
know anything about it, didn't have any really experience that

76
00:04:50.360 --> 00:04:53.120
I could actually relate to, you know and point to, hey,

77
00:04:53.160 --> 00:04:55.560
that's what that is. I've learned things now that I

78
00:04:55.560 --> 00:05:00.800
could say, you know, probably, But so we just dismissed

79
00:05:00.839 --> 00:05:03.079
it like everybody else did at the time. You know,

80
00:05:03.079 --> 00:05:06.759
it was you know, it's nothing, it's it's got to

81
00:05:06.759 --> 00:05:09.720
be something else somebody did it, rather than you know,

82
00:05:12.240 --> 00:05:15.360
they're playing pranks or they're kidding even or whatever. And

83
00:05:15.600 --> 00:05:17.879
most of the time those the people there in East

84
00:05:17.920 --> 00:05:20.480
Tennessee didn't call the Sheriff's apartment but there were a

85
00:05:20.480 --> 00:05:24.079
few incidents that I didn't respond to personally, but I

86
00:05:24.120 --> 00:05:25.040
know other officers did.

87
00:05:25.120 --> 00:05:27.839
Yeah, and then you know, of course that's something serious.

88
00:05:27.879 --> 00:05:30.199
It's like it's kind of a joke out here in

89
00:05:30.240 --> 00:05:32.680
Iowa where I'm at, when when a farmer goes to

90
00:05:32.720 --> 00:05:36.600
the hospital, you know it's serious because there usually can

91
00:05:36.639 --> 00:05:39.639
take care of themselves, right, or they want to take

92
00:05:39.680 --> 00:05:42.600
care of themselves. But so it sounds like when you

93
00:05:42.800 --> 00:05:45.920
made the move out to Washington, that's when your eyes

94
00:05:45.959 --> 00:05:49.879
started to really get open as to there's something going

95
00:05:49.920 --> 00:05:50.519
on out here.

96
00:05:53.160 --> 00:05:59.079
Yeah. For example, of I worked for a company Webil

97
00:05:59.120 --> 00:06:00.680
Boats and that was the what got me out here

98
00:06:00.759 --> 00:06:07.120
to Washington. And a guy come to help me work

99
00:06:07.160 --> 00:06:11.120
on one of my vehicles and we started he started

100
00:06:11.160 --> 00:06:13.759
pointing things out in the yard. I had a tree

101
00:06:14.120 --> 00:06:17.560
behind the the mode part of the the yard. We

102
00:06:17.639 --> 00:06:20.959
was written a house sat on Keepen Insula, so it's

103
00:06:20.959 --> 00:06:25.560
pretty remote. We had neighbors, but and there was a

104
00:06:25.600 --> 00:06:28.279
tree about I would say it's about sixty feet tall

105
00:06:28.399 --> 00:06:31.079
and about forty feet up. There were two limbs that

106
00:06:31.160 --> 00:06:34.079
stuck off parallel to each other right or perpendt or

107
00:06:34.439 --> 00:06:39.240
crossways right. There were exact opposites of the tree, and

108
00:06:39.279 --> 00:06:42.319
it was about ten inches in diameter at the base

109
00:06:42.399 --> 00:06:46.079
or twelve. Two smaller trees about six or eight inches

110
00:06:46.120 --> 00:06:48.959
in diameter were crossed, so the tree on the right

111
00:06:49.120 --> 00:06:52.199
was stuck under the brokeoff branch on the left, and

112
00:06:52.279 --> 00:06:57.600
vice versa. So the trees were crossed and hooked under

113
00:06:57.600 --> 00:07:03.279
those branches. And I don't know anybody that could pull

114
00:07:03.519 --> 00:07:07.600
a four inch diameter tree down like that and bend

115
00:07:07.639 --> 00:07:10.399
them over and hook him under those broke off limbs.

116
00:07:11.680 --> 00:07:15.160
And while the gentleman was there, we started walking the property,

117
00:07:16.480 --> 00:07:19.879
and the neighbor's dogs had been barking, and everything just

118
00:07:19.959 --> 00:07:28.240
went quiet. And we had an old concrete deer setting

119
00:07:28.279 --> 00:07:32.399
in the front yard that was the landlords, and that

120
00:07:32.519 --> 00:07:35.000
we got around the front was around back looking at that,

121
00:07:35.040 --> 00:07:41.000
and he was pointing out various other things, and the

122
00:07:41.040 --> 00:07:44.560
deer head was broke off. Something had broke the deer

123
00:07:44.600 --> 00:07:46.560
head off. And we got up next to the house

124
00:07:46.639 --> 00:07:48.680
and we found an impression in the grass. It was

125
00:07:48.720 --> 00:07:53.519
probably I don't know, seventeen eighteen inches long and six

126
00:07:53.639 --> 00:07:57.279
or seven inches wide in the grass in the broad daylight.

127
00:07:58.759 --> 00:08:02.639
And so he starts to telling us and he said Doug,

128
00:08:02.720 --> 00:08:05.319
I think you've got bigfoot activity out here. And so

129
00:08:05.519 --> 00:08:07.399
we were talking going around the back before we got

130
00:08:07.399 --> 00:08:10.480
to the footprint, because once we got seen or the impression,

131
00:08:10.519 --> 00:08:12.639
I'm not going to say it's a footprint, but it's

132
00:08:13.240 --> 00:08:15.480
that's what shape it was. And then impression in the

133
00:08:15.480 --> 00:08:20.240
front yard. He got in his vehicle and left, but

134
00:08:20.560 --> 00:08:23.000
walking around the property, he started talking about this, and

135
00:08:23.040 --> 00:08:25.480
I thought, you know, I just I used to smoke

136
00:08:25.560 --> 00:08:27.480
and I would come home. I work second shift. I

137
00:08:27.639 --> 00:08:30.600
get home about two thirty in the morning, and I'd

138
00:08:30.639 --> 00:08:32.320
set out on the on the back porch and we

139
00:08:32.399 --> 00:08:34.039
had a nice back porch and I'd sit on the

140
00:08:34.039 --> 00:08:38.720
back porch and smoke, and I heard a belch not

141
00:08:39.279 --> 00:08:43.919
fifteen feet to my left in the woods. Now I

142
00:08:43.960 --> 00:08:46.080
had neighbors, but they were elderly neighbors, and they went

143
00:08:46.120 --> 00:08:50.639
to bed really early. And I don't know anything that belches,

144
00:08:50.679 --> 00:08:57.679
but hominids right people upright. Bears don't belch, cougars don't belch,

145
00:08:58.240 --> 00:09:01.759
raccoons don't belch. And I just kind of looked over

146
00:09:04.080 --> 00:09:06.120
and didn't as I thought, I'm just hearing things right.

147
00:09:06.159 --> 00:09:08.360
So it did it again, and so I kind of

148
00:09:08.440 --> 00:09:11.679
joked you want me to get you a Tom's. And

149
00:09:11.720 --> 00:09:17.279
then I got to thinking, nothing belches but us, and

150
00:09:17.360 --> 00:09:22.200
that was you could just tell by the sound it

151
00:09:22.279 --> 00:09:26.879
wasn't a human. It was much bigger, and I just

152
00:09:26.919 --> 00:09:32.159
went in the house. My wife. Finally we moved here

153
00:09:32.159 --> 00:09:34.960
from southern Illinois and my wife moved. I was out

154
00:09:35.000 --> 00:09:37.279
here nine months by myself, and then my wife came out,

155
00:09:38.200 --> 00:09:40.679
so she moved there to keep an insult with me.

156
00:09:43.399 --> 00:09:45.120
And I went to put the trash can out. It

157
00:09:45.159 --> 00:09:47.440
was late at night, about ten eleven o'clock at night,

158
00:09:47.480 --> 00:09:49.600
and we're always up late because I worked second shit,

159
00:09:50.840 --> 00:09:53.519
And I came back and I had the flashlight and

160
00:09:53.559 --> 00:09:58.639
I shined it over in the sideyard towards the direction

161
00:09:58.720 --> 00:10:01.120
of where I heard that belch, and I seen two

162
00:10:02.919 --> 00:10:07.360
grayish blue eyes reflecting or light lighting up, and they

163
00:10:07.360 --> 00:10:11.600
were about nine feet in the air, and then they

164
00:10:11.639 --> 00:10:14.399
disappeared behind the tree. There was a huge tree right there,

165
00:10:15.840 --> 00:10:18.759
and I stopped and looked, and I couldn't see anything.

166
00:10:18.840 --> 00:10:20.679
So it's like, okay, it's time just to go in

167
00:10:20.720 --> 00:10:23.559
the house. And it was about I don't know, four

168
00:10:23.639 --> 00:10:26.600
or five weeks later that my friend came out and

169
00:10:26.639 --> 00:10:30.360
we started looking around, and when he seen the gear

170
00:10:30.440 --> 00:10:36.039
had broke off and that imprint in the in the grass,

171
00:10:36.039 --> 00:10:39.279
he was done. He left. And he had been telling

172
00:10:39.320 --> 00:10:42.159
me that he had just seen one a bigfoot on

173
00:10:42.240 --> 00:10:45.720
his way home the year before. He has a friend

174
00:10:45.720 --> 00:10:47.279
that lives out there, and he was out it. And

175
00:10:47.360 --> 00:10:49.720
so it was about two miles from our house that

176
00:10:49.840 --> 00:10:54.320
he passed it. It was walking alongside the road, and

177
00:10:54.360 --> 00:10:57.200
he said he had never been so scared. He was

178
00:10:57.200 --> 00:10:58.840
just glad it didn't step out front of him, and

179
00:10:59.679 --> 00:11:01.559
he got out of there as fast as he could.

180
00:11:01.559 --> 00:11:05.600
So when he found that deerhead broke and the impression

181
00:11:05.600 --> 00:11:07.840
in the yard, he was done. He was out of there.

182
00:11:07.879 --> 00:11:09.840
And I haven't spoke to him since. He has never

183
00:11:09.960 --> 00:11:14.440
never been back. And my goodness, So he was totally

184
00:11:14.519 --> 00:11:17.519
scared whatever he's seen on the road, scared and bad

185
00:11:17.600 --> 00:11:20.960
enough that he did want And he'd lived here all

186
00:11:21.000 --> 00:11:23.480
his life. He lived on the keypen Ansela all his life.

187
00:11:23.519 --> 00:11:27.000
So, Doug, this is some wild stuff. I want to

188
00:11:27.159 --> 00:11:32.200
provide commentary for a minute about the area for listeners

189
00:11:32.240 --> 00:11:36.399
who are just listening to the audio. The Key Peninsula

190
00:11:36.600 --> 00:11:39.720
is smack dab in the middle of a lot of

191
00:11:39.720 --> 00:11:45.879
bigfoot activity. You've got So's it's north of places like

192
00:11:46.000 --> 00:11:56.159
Fort Lewis, it's south of places like Bell Belfair is

193
00:11:56.200 --> 00:11:59.799
pretty active from what I've heard. Also, I mean you've

194
00:11:59.799 --> 00:12:03.480
got to the east, you've got gig Harbor over there.

195
00:12:03.679 --> 00:12:07.879
But more specifically, I want to point out is directly

196
00:12:07.919 --> 00:12:12.399
to its west, you've got Harsteen Island, which has had

197
00:12:12.480 --> 00:12:17.559
some really intense documented activity over the years at the

198
00:12:19.480 --> 00:12:22.279
let's see Gerald Cove State Park up in the north.

199
00:12:22.440 --> 00:12:26.440
And then there's some other things if you look up.

200
00:12:26.480 --> 00:12:28.840
And actually I've talked to an individual about activity on

201
00:12:28.840 --> 00:12:30.120
squawks And Island as well.

202
00:12:30.159 --> 00:12:35.519
On so oh, I don't I'm not too far from

203
00:12:35.559 --> 00:12:40.000
squawks And Island. Now, I don't. I don't. I don't believe. So,

204
00:12:40.320 --> 00:12:42.399
I don't believe I'm too far from it. But yeah,

205
00:12:42.440 --> 00:12:48.480
I was about five six miles from home, Washington, gotcha. So,

206
00:12:48.759 --> 00:12:52.559
and that's where just south of there, on a on

207
00:12:52.639 --> 00:12:56.320
a road is where my friend had seen seen one

208
00:12:56.320 --> 00:13:03.000
walking alongside the road. So since then I started out.

209
00:13:03.000 --> 00:13:06.480
I lived in in Olympia Lacey area in an apartment

210
00:13:06.519 --> 00:13:11.360
and moved out to the Key Peninsula and then from

211
00:13:11.399 --> 00:13:17.039
there we moved to Enomclaw and then to Tacoma, and

212
00:13:17.080 --> 00:13:20.480
then so then we moved to Yelm, which is a

213
00:13:20.519 --> 00:13:26.879
more rural area. We lived south of Yelm and didn't

214
00:13:26.919 --> 00:13:31.360
think any more about it, and then one week we

215
00:13:31.399 --> 00:13:35.360
started in the spring, we started getting a stench rolling in.

216
00:13:35.720 --> 00:13:39.399
There's a big wooded area just to the south of us,

217
00:13:39.559 --> 00:13:42.159
and a big stench would roll in and it smelt

218
00:13:42.240 --> 00:13:47.919
like a musky garbage heap. Well, that's odd, and it

219
00:13:47.960 --> 00:13:51.120
would go away and it would come back. And so

220
00:13:51.360 --> 00:13:54.840
one afternoon, me and the wife were out in the

221
00:13:54.919 --> 00:13:59.639
yard and just directly across the street from us was

222
00:14:00.720 --> 00:14:03.279
there was a section of woods about ten feet deep

223
00:14:03.320 --> 00:14:07.240
off the road. We were on a busy intersection. And

224
00:14:07.279 --> 00:14:09.919
then the guy the neighborhood just bought it and he

225
00:14:09.960 --> 00:14:11.679
had cleared the rest of it, but there was about

226
00:14:11.679 --> 00:14:17.360
ten feet by i would say hundred feet of woods

227
00:14:18.159 --> 00:14:22.200
along the road at the edge of his property, on

228
00:14:22.240 --> 00:14:26.399
the western edge of his property, and a rock came

229
00:14:26.440 --> 00:14:29.960
flying out of there. And he wasn't home, he has

230
00:14:30.000 --> 00:14:32.519
no kids, there's nobody there and the place is all

231
00:14:32.559 --> 00:14:36.919
fenced up and locked off. But a rock came flying

232
00:14:36.919 --> 00:14:40.399
out of there, and it's like, who would be throwing rocks,

233
00:14:40.960 --> 00:14:45.399
and the stench there at the time was horrendous, so

234
00:14:45.440 --> 00:14:47.440
we didn't venture out of the yard. You know, that's

235
00:14:47.480 --> 00:14:50.480
his property. We didn't think anything about it. But I

236
00:14:50.559 --> 00:14:53.000
know he works during the day and he's single and

237
00:14:53.080 --> 00:14:55.399
has no kids, so there was should have been nobody

238
00:14:55.440 --> 00:14:59.080
there and it was all locked up, but something was

239
00:14:59.120 --> 00:15:01.440
throwing rocks out of it, and we didn't see anything.

240
00:15:01.480 --> 00:15:04.399
You couldn't see anything over there, but the brush and

241
00:15:04.440 --> 00:15:08.000
stuff was pretty thick, but something was throwing rocks at

242
00:15:08.080 --> 00:15:12.519
us out of that woods, and so we decided it

243
00:15:12.559 --> 00:15:16.279
was time to go to go in our back motion

244
00:15:16.399 --> 00:15:18.039
light would go off in the middle of night and

245
00:15:18.080 --> 00:15:20.480
I would go out and look and there would be

246
00:15:20.519 --> 00:15:23.919
nothing there. But then again, our back the back part

247
00:15:23.960 --> 00:15:27.200
of the property was full of blackberries and trees and

248
00:15:27.559 --> 00:15:33.240
it was pretty thick, so it's not unusual not to

249
00:15:33.279 --> 00:15:37.039
see anything in that. There's plenty of places for anything

250
00:15:37.120 --> 00:15:41.960
or anybody to go hide. But never heard anything, never

251
00:15:42.000 --> 00:15:46.279
seen anything. We had cameras set up sometimes that we

252
00:15:46.360 --> 00:15:48.840
never never did get a glimpse of anything. And then

253
00:15:49.600 --> 00:15:51.799
that lasted about two weeks and the stench and all

254
00:15:51.840 --> 00:15:54.519
that activity was gone, and it came back a month

255
00:15:54.600 --> 00:15:58.519
or two later and stayed for a few days, and

256
00:15:58.559 --> 00:16:03.600
then we never seen anything else. I had noticed though,

257
00:16:03.679 --> 00:16:07.159
that in the area when the stench arrived, right, there

258
00:16:07.200 --> 00:16:10.279
was a pond across the road to the north of

259
00:16:10.360 --> 00:16:13.919
us and tons of frogs. Is extremely loud in the

260
00:16:13.960 --> 00:16:17.200
springtime with frogs at night, right, And when this stench

261
00:16:17.320 --> 00:16:22.360
rolled in and things started happening dead quiet, And that's

262
00:16:22.360 --> 00:16:26.399
what happened. It was a fourth of July and twenty

263
00:16:26.480 --> 00:16:32.080
sixteen actually on to Key Peninsula that I was standing

264
00:16:32.080 --> 00:16:34.480
out smoking a cigarette again and all the tree frogs

265
00:16:34.519 --> 00:16:37.000
were gone, and all the crickets and you know, all

266
00:16:37.039 --> 00:16:41.399
the night noises, dogs barking, and all of a sudden,

267
00:16:41.399 --> 00:16:46.120
it just went dead quiet. You heard nothing, and you

268
00:16:46.279 --> 00:16:49.559
never heard anything ever again. And that's when I noticed

269
00:16:49.879 --> 00:16:52.759
about three days later that those the trees were crossed over.

270
00:16:52.960 --> 00:16:57.679
And it was about four months later that my friend came.

271
00:16:57.720 --> 00:17:00.639
But there still wasn't any animal sounds. The dogs never

272
00:17:00.720 --> 00:17:03.679
barked again, nothing made a sound. It was like they

273
00:17:03.720 --> 00:17:06.960
were afraid to make a sound. There was nothing made

274
00:17:06.960 --> 00:17:11.319
a sound out there ever, And so Yelm was like that.

275
00:17:11.400 --> 00:17:14.599
And then after the stench went away, then the frogs

276
00:17:14.640 --> 00:17:18.519
came back and I'm finding the same thing. So we

277
00:17:19.200 --> 00:17:25.079
left yelm and we bought a place here last February,

278
00:17:26.839 --> 00:17:31.319
out here west of Shelton. And we're in the timberland,

279
00:17:31.640 --> 00:17:35.720
right the timber company, so we have no neighbors. We're

280
00:17:35.720 --> 00:17:37.799
out here. Buyer said, we're a mile off the paved road.

281
00:17:39.200 --> 00:17:45.920
And we started noticing trees pushed over. And the first

282
00:17:45.920 --> 00:17:49.279
thing we noticed is a tree about eight inches in diameter,

283
00:17:50.200 --> 00:17:53.640
six inches at the break, about ten feet tall, so

284
00:17:53.680 --> 00:17:56.559
it's a six inch diameter tree at the spot that

285
00:17:56.759 --> 00:18:01.079
was just broke over away from the road. And I thought, okay,

286
00:18:01.119 --> 00:18:03.200
so maybe you know a piece of equipment, because it

287
00:18:03.240 --> 00:18:06.759
is a logging road. There was no tire tracks. I

288
00:18:06.759 --> 00:18:09.359
got out and looked. There was no piece of equipment.

289
00:18:09.400 --> 00:18:11.440
There was nothing had pulled up there and broke that

290
00:18:11.480 --> 00:18:16.160
tree off. There was no tracks of any kind. And

291
00:18:16.200 --> 00:18:18.839
then I started paying attention. There's old trees that had

292
00:18:18.880 --> 00:18:22.559
just been pushed over, right, And if I thought, okay,

293
00:18:22.559 --> 00:18:25.440
maybe it's the wind. But when the trees are three

294
00:18:25.440 --> 00:18:29.000
feet apart and they're that dance, the wind's going to

295
00:18:29.039 --> 00:18:34.559
push over more than one tree, right, And so then

296
00:18:34.559 --> 00:18:40.640
we started noticing as spring came no frogs. There was nothing.

297
00:18:40.799 --> 00:18:45.519
You didn't hear anything when we first got there spring started.

298
00:18:46.440 --> 00:18:48.680
You could hear tree frogs at the gate, but we'd

299
00:18:48.720 --> 00:18:52.160
hear nothing at the house. And then we started noticing

300
00:18:52.160 --> 00:18:55.920
more trees pushed over, and we haven't heard any sound,

301
00:18:57.079 --> 00:19:03.920
especially at the road gate, for over a year, or

302
00:19:03.960 --> 00:19:08.720
well about about one year exactly. Now. At home. At

303
00:19:08.720 --> 00:19:13.839
the house, you would hear tree frogs occasionally. There's a

304
00:19:13.920 --> 00:19:20.400
wetland to our south, a creek to our north, and

305
00:19:21.759 --> 00:19:25.720
but all winter long there there was nothing. And then

306
00:19:26.200 --> 00:19:28.519
and I thought, Okay, it's it's just the cold, right.

307
00:19:28.559 --> 00:19:32.359
Frogs don't like the cold, right. But then the other

308
00:19:32.440 --> 00:19:35.000
day it was twenty eight degrees and that's the coldest

309
00:19:35.000 --> 00:19:38.720
had been in the area all winter. Tree frogs out.

310
00:19:39.160 --> 00:19:42.640
And I noticed that when you don't hear the tree frogs,

311
00:19:42.640 --> 00:19:46.000
you don't see any animals or deer or rabbits don't.

312
00:19:46.119 --> 00:19:48.119
They don't cross the road, they don't come through the yard.

313
00:19:48.880 --> 00:19:52.920
They're gone. I started hearing tree frogs. We see rabbits

314
00:19:52.960 --> 00:19:55.640
across the road, we see deer across the road, we

315
00:19:55.680 --> 00:19:57.640
see tracks in the yard. We've seen a bear track

316
00:19:57.680 --> 00:20:02.680
in our in our driveway the other day. But then

317
00:20:02.720 --> 00:20:09.000
the tree frogs are going. And when when you don't

318
00:20:09.039 --> 00:20:11.640
hear the tree frogs, there's no animals moving anywhere, it's

319
00:20:11.680 --> 00:20:15.599
like it's they're all being run off. And you then

320
00:20:15.599 --> 00:20:18.000
you start staying a tree at the gate that had

321
00:20:18.680 --> 00:20:21.440
had been ripped off and they dug a hole to

322
00:20:21.839 --> 00:20:27.599
keep ATVs from going around the around the gate. Uh,

323
00:20:27.759 --> 00:20:31.640
and that whatever whatever broke that off through that the

324
00:20:31.680 --> 00:20:34.359
top party in that hole on top of piece of

325
00:20:34.400 --> 00:20:38.920
debris that one of the loggers or whatever left in there.

326
00:20:40.400 --> 00:20:42.480
And next to it is a is a bush that's

327
00:20:42.519 --> 00:20:45.720
got limbs that are or an old tree they've cut

328
00:20:45.759 --> 00:20:47.680
down or whatever, and it's started to grow back in

329
00:20:47.759 --> 00:20:50.559
multiple places right there, about two two and a half

330
00:20:50.599 --> 00:20:53.400
inches in diameter, and they're just twisted off and broke off,

331
00:20:53.440 --> 00:20:55.880
and you can tell they're just they're not completely broke off.

332
00:20:55.880 --> 00:20:58.119
They're still attached, but they're they're dead and broke off

333
00:20:58.720 --> 00:21:03.720
and you can tell it's just been twisted. So yeah,

334
00:21:03.720 --> 00:21:10.559
there's And I seen the February fifteenth coming up one

335
00:21:10.599 --> 00:21:12.440
oh one. I was coming home from work at three

336
00:21:12.440 --> 00:21:16.680
o'clock in the afternoon. Listen to a podcast and I

337
00:21:17.400 --> 00:21:21.240
music makes me sleepy, so I listened to book audio

338
00:21:21.240 --> 00:21:23.920
books or podcasts or whatever. And so I was listening

339
00:21:23.960 --> 00:21:27.240
to a podcast and I just happened to glance over

340
00:21:27.880 --> 00:21:32.640
to my left, and so when I did, there's I

341
00:21:32.680 --> 00:21:36.640
had to take a double look. There I seen what

342
00:21:36.720 --> 00:21:42.079
I thought was a bigfoot sasquatch walking away from the highway,

343
00:21:42.119 --> 00:21:45.119
about fifty yards off the highway. And I shoot bows

344
00:21:45.119 --> 00:21:50.200
a lot, so I can judge distances pretty well, so

345
00:21:50.319 --> 00:21:52.799
I can say with all confidence it was about fifty

346
00:21:52.880 --> 00:21:56.480
yards fifty five yards off off the highway, and it

347
00:21:56.519 --> 00:21:59.559
was walking away, and so I tried to rationalize it

348
00:21:59.640 --> 00:22:04.599
was a it was a shadow, but stumps and shadows

349
00:22:05.240 --> 00:22:08.400
don't swing their arms. And that's what caught my attention

350
00:22:08.480 --> 00:22:10.519
was the movement of it walking away. And when I

351
00:22:10.559 --> 00:22:12.559
look back over my shoulder, I could see the right

352
00:22:12.680 --> 00:22:17.720
arm swing back. So the next day, me and the

353
00:22:17.759 --> 00:22:20.920
wife came home about the same time, and so we

354
00:22:20.960 --> 00:22:23.279
started we slowed down, started looking, all right, are there

355
00:22:23.279 --> 00:22:27.200
any stumps, are there any shadows? Anything's going to cast

356
00:22:27.640 --> 00:22:31.160
something that would prove that this wasn't what I thought

357
00:22:31.160 --> 00:22:35.799
I saw. And there's nothing out there. It's just a

358
00:22:36.000 --> 00:22:39.160
nice clean was right, that's been planted. The brush is

359
00:22:39.200 --> 00:22:41.599
not growing up. There's no There are stumps, but nothing

360
00:22:41.960 --> 00:22:44.559
that tall or nothing that would show that kind of shape.

361
00:22:45.119 --> 00:22:48.960
So I know what I saw, and it was moving,

362
00:22:48.960 --> 00:22:50.680
and it was walking up right on two legs.

363
00:22:50.839 --> 00:22:54.920
This happened within the past year around Shelton, Washington.

364
00:22:57.759 --> 00:23:01.000
Yes, Yet all this activity that you know from the

365
00:23:01.640 --> 00:23:04.160
from the time we moved to Shelton in February of

366
00:23:04.240 --> 00:23:10.279
twenty twenty five until here, and it continues to happen.

367
00:23:10.400 --> 00:23:12.880
They cut down trees along the road to keep it clear, right,

368
00:23:13.640 --> 00:23:15.680
and all these when we first moved in, we're all

369
00:23:15.680 --> 00:23:18.119
off the road. They're all pushed back in the trees.

370
00:23:18.920 --> 00:23:22.480
And it's a tree about four inches in diameter at

371
00:23:22.519 --> 00:23:26.680
the base and it's probably about ten feet long that

372
00:23:26.799 --> 00:23:30.200
it's not in the road, but it's push it's thrown

373
00:23:30.240 --> 00:23:32.839
out into the edge of the road. The last few

374
00:23:33.759 --> 00:23:37.880
few weeks, probably three weeks, I say, the last week

375
00:23:38.000 --> 00:23:41.960
we started hearing frogs again, so it's probably about two

376
00:23:41.960 --> 00:23:45.400
weeks before that I started noticing it's a dirt road

377
00:23:45.400 --> 00:23:48.359
with the rock on it. You know, the rocks. They

378
00:23:48.359 --> 00:23:50.839
call them Washington potatoes out here because they just come

379
00:23:50.920 --> 00:23:54.839
up out of the ground and these are about the

380
00:23:54.880 --> 00:23:57.240
size of both my fists that will end up in

381
00:23:57.279 --> 00:24:00.559
the middle of the road, and there's they weren't there before,

382
00:24:01.000 --> 00:24:02.799
and there are a lot of them all along there.

383
00:24:03.279 --> 00:24:05.359
They're just like something's throwing them out in the road.

384
00:24:06.319 --> 00:24:12.400
Can't say for sure, but I leave it at around

385
00:24:12.400 --> 00:24:14.240
four four thirty in the morning to go to work,

386
00:24:15.119 --> 00:24:18.319
and you don't see them on the road. When you

387
00:24:18.319 --> 00:24:20.519
come back, they're in the road, or vice versa. Right,

388
00:24:21.000 --> 00:24:23.680
you leave, you come back at night in the evening

389
00:24:23.799 --> 00:24:27.599
from work and there's none in the road, and then

390
00:24:27.880 --> 00:24:30.039
you leave in the morning and you can see these

391
00:24:30.079 --> 00:24:36.359
big rocks in the road. I just find it extremely

392
00:24:36.400 --> 00:24:41.119
interesting that all these rocks one or two I could

393
00:24:41.200 --> 00:24:43.680
explain away as they're working their way up out of

394
00:24:43.720 --> 00:24:45.720
the ground and you drive over them and it pops

395
00:24:45.720 --> 00:24:51.119
them out, but fifteen or twenty and I pick them

396
00:24:51.200 --> 00:24:52.480
up and throw them off side of the road, and

397
00:24:52.480 --> 00:24:53.400
now they'll be back.

398
00:24:53.680 --> 00:24:58.079
So it's definitely some weirdness going around. And then you

399
00:24:58.119 --> 00:25:01.759
canbind that whether you actually had you know that sighting,

400
00:25:01.960 --> 00:25:07.279
and do you have an approximate date for when this

401
00:25:07.400 --> 00:25:08.119
sighting happened?

402
00:25:10.640 --> 00:25:15.680
Yes, I know exactly when it was twenty fifteen at

403
00:25:16.400 --> 00:25:20.640
two fifteen. It is February fifteenth, Saturday, February fifteenth, at

404
00:25:20.680 --> 00:25:26.720
about three fifty afternoon, twenty twenty six.

405
00:25:28.000 --> 00:25:35.720
So within yeah, really within the last three weeks. Wow, yes,

406
00:25:36.480 --> 00:25:39.200
what would you estimate the height of it was? From

407
00:25:39.680 --> 00:25:40.079
what you.

408
00:25:40.079 --> 00:25:46.200
Saw nine to ten feet from the distance of fifty yards,

409
00:25:46.759 --> 00:25:48.279
it would have been had to been about nine or

410
00:25:48.279 --> 00:25:56.079
ten feet tall. And so I come home and I

411
00:25:56.079 --> 00:25:57.880
I talk to my wife and it's like, I don't

412
00:25:57.880 --> 00:25:59.680
know if I really seen it, and she's ab, we'll

413
00:25:59.680 --> 00:26:03.640
to describe. So I did, and so I know what

414
00:26:03.680 --> 00:26:07.119
I seen. And so I was looking through pictures, and

415
00:26:07.279 --> 00:26:13.880
I've seen photographs of a sasquatch walking away. It was

416
00:26:13.880 --> 00:26:17.279
on a hill in the snow, and it was from

417
00:26:17.319 --> 00:26:20.519
three quarter view from the left side, and you could

418
00:26:20.519 --> 00:26:25.160
see the left arm swing back, and that's exactly what

419
00:26:25.279 --> 00:26:27.359
I seen from the opposite side. So I would have

420
00:26:27.359 --> 00:26:29.599
seen it from the right side looking over my left shoulder.

421
00:26:31.279 --> 00:26:33.279
So I have no doubt that that's what I seen.

422
00:26:34.480 --> 00:26:36.440
I was kind of questioning it. And then as I

423
00:26:36.519 --> 00:26:41.839
was looking through photographs or videos of other podcasts and yours,

424
00:26:43.039 --> 00:26:45.319
and I come across this picture, and it was the

425
00:26:45.359 --> 00:26:50.960
exact shape and movement that I seen, So I have

426
00:26:51.079 --> 00:26:54.599
no doubt that's what it was. And what really convinced

427
00:26:54.599 --> 00:26:57.200
me is I know I seen the arm movement and

428
00:26:57.279 --> 00:26:59.359
I could say, okay, it was a shadow or something

429
00:26:59.359 --> 00:27:04.839
even seeing the picture. The shadows and stumps don't swing

430
00:27:04.880 --> 00:27:05.240
their arms.

431
00:27:05.279 --> 00:27:09.960
Yeah, So remind me approximately how far away from your

432
00:27:11.640 --> 00:27:13.640
your house property this sighting was.

433
00:27:13.680 --> 00:27:20.119
Again, it's probably two miles as the crow flies six

434
00:27:20.160 --> 00:27:24.720
miles up around and it was headed towards the.

435
00:27:24.680 --> 00:27:32.319
House away going towards the house. You've also seen weird

436
00:27:32.400 --> 00:27:38.039
rock policemen. You've got broken trees and weirdly placed trees.

437
00:27:38.440 --> 00:27:42.079
And you said that you're seeing stuff that looks like

438
00:27:42.160 --> 00:27:45.079
it's twisted, like broken twisted.

439
00:27:45.319 --> 00:27:51.200
Did you say that, Yeah, Yeah, that's up by the gate.

440
00:27:52.200 --> 00:27:55.920
Fresh break is about eight feet off nine feet off

441
00:27:55.960 --> 00:27:59.599
the ground, and just to the left as you're looking

442
00:27:59.640 --> 00:28:02.559
at it, to the left of it is it might

443
00:28:02.599 --> 00:28:05.079
be a I think what it is is where they've

444
00:28:05.400 --> 00:28:07.160
logged off the tree and it started coming up from

445
00:28:07.160 --> 00:28:09.640
the root. So you have different tree branches coming up right,

446
00:28:09.759 --> 00:28:12.880
different young saplings coming up, and they're about two two

447
00:28:12.880 --> 00:28:15.640
and a half inches in diameter and they're broke off

448
00:28:15.640 --> 00:28:17.359
at a ninety degree angle, which you can tell they

449
00:28:17.359 --> 00:28:21.200
were twisted and broke off because it's not a clean

450
00:28:23.240 --> 00:28:25.640
in the MS. We call it green stick fracture right

451
00:28:25.799 --> 00:28:28.400
where it peels off right and you have the part

452
00:28:28.440 --> 00:28:32.279
of it still sticking up. It's just twisted. You can

453
00:28:32.279 --> 00:28:34.200
tell they just twisted it off. It was green when

454
00:28:34.240 --> 00:28:36.319
they did it. It was twisted and broke off. And

455
00:28:36.319 --> 00:28:42.839
there's three of these on this, this group of saplings

456
00:28:42.880 --> 00:28:44.000
growing up out of the stump.

457
00:28:44.759 --> 00:28:47.960
And so it doesn't really sound like you have any

458
00:28:48.000 --> 00:28:49.240
neighbors around your area.

459
00:28:51.200 --> 00:28:54.519
No, No, The nearest neighbors up at the hard road

460
00:28:54.519 --> 00:28:57.119
and about a quarter of a mile down. So we're

461
00:28:57.119 --> 00:28:59.480
a mile off the hard road. So there's there's.

462
00:28:59.279 --> 00:29:01.759
No okay, there's no anywhere you could be like, hey,

463
00:29:02.079 --> 00:29:05.519
you know you experiencing weird stuff too. I mean that

464
00:29:05.559 --> 00:29:08.119
guy would be too far down the road.

465
00:29:11.200 --> 00:29:16.920
Yeah, there's there's there's people that access the road from

466
00:29:17.039 --> 00:29:20.079
farther farther past our house, a couple of miles past

467
00:29:20.119 --> 00:29:21.440
our house, and they ride up and down the road

468
00:29:21.480 --> 00:29:26.279
under motorcycle. They're off road motorcycle or their ATV or whatever.

469
00:29:26.319 --> 00:29:29.720
But how they're getting on I don't know. There are

470
00:29:29.720 --> 00:29:32.519
a couple of miles away from us, and they're coming

471
00:29:32.559 --> 00:29:37.559
across timber company property to get to access that road.

472
00:29:40.640 --> 00:29:42.920
So the timber company does come back in that area

473
00:29:43.039 --> 00:29:45.680
to cut right it's it is an active working forest,

474
00:29:45.799 --> 00:29:47.720
so they do come back there and cut on occasion,

475
00:29:49.400 --> 00:29:52.400
but nothing around us. So that's why I'm saying, you know,

476
00:29:52.440 --> 00:29:55.440
there's no equipment coming back there. They're not coming to

477
00:29:55.680 --> 00:29:58.599
with a road grader or anything to drag this tree

478
00:29:58.640 --> 00:30:02.599
out in the road or not maintaining the roads or so.

479
00:30:03.079 --> 00:30:05.599
Nobody's bringing any heavy equipment and that could break off

480
00:30:05.640 --> 00:30:09.319
these trees or push them over. So and some of

481
00:30:09.359 --> 00:30:12.000
them are back three four or five feet off the

482
00:30:12.079 --> 00:30:14.119
road and you can as you can see that they're

483
00:30:14.160 --> 00:30:22.559
just pushed over. So we went to last September, September

484
00:30:22.640 --> 00:30:27.480
twenty twenty five. The last road out on the left

485
00:30:27.599 --> 00:30:30.599
is a cutaway back into the too the woods, and

486
00:30:30.599 --> 00:30:32.400
we don't know how far it went. We took our

487
00:30:32.599 --> 00:30:36.200
pickup truck down there and there are two trees pushed

488
00:30:36.240 --> 00:30:41.519
over across the road. So that are I'm saying twelve

489
00:30:41.519 --> 00:30:44.599
inches at the base that are pushed over in the

490
00:30:44.680 --> 00:30:49.119
road to block the road off. I'm but they're pushed

491
00:30:49.119 --> 00:30:52.240
over and there's other trees right there, a lot of

492
00:30:52.279 --> 00:30:54.640
other trees right there that if it was a wind

493
00:30:54.680 --> 00:30:57.599
blowing through there. My wife said, well it got pushed over.

494
00:30:57.759 --> 00:30:59.920
Now they pushed it over with a bulldozer. Well there's

495
00:31:00.200 --> 00:31:02.799
tracks of the bulldozers the way bulldozer could get back there.

496
00:31:03.240 --> 00:31:06.960
There's nothing there that they're still green because part of

497
00:31:06.680 --> 00:31:08.799
the stump is still in the dirt where they pushed

498
00:31:08.799 --> 00:31:14.000
it over. And that's a heavy area for the ATVs

499
00:31:14.039 --> 00:31:17.160
to ride. And that was the first time we went

500
00:31:17.200 --> 00:31:19.759
down there, and I don't know where it goes. Because

501
00:31:20.039 --> 00:31:21.920
the trees were blocking the road. We couldn't go across.

502
00:31:22.079 --> 00:31:23.799
If you're on a mini bike you could there's something,

503
00:31:23.839 --> 00:31:26.039
you know, you could go around the drive over the

504
00:31:26.119 --> 00:31:28.519
very tips of them, but we wasn't getting across it

505
00:31:28.519 --> 00:31:31.079
in a pickup truck. Trees are just too big.

506
00:31:31.640 --> 00:31:39.000
Okay. So so man, I got a few questions, Uh,

507
00:31:39.599 --> 00:31:43.160
what would you say the closest to the house, you've

508
00:31:43.200 --> 00:31:48.640
noticed activity or stuff that's weird has been happening.

509
00:31:51.359 --> 00:31:55.640
So closest to the house at the end of the

510
00:31:55.720 --> 00:31:58.720
driveway comes into the logging road, and right at the

511
00:31:58.799 --> 00:32:02.000
end of the driveway these I said, there's several big rocks,

512
00:32:02.079 --> 00:32:03.440
you know, like I said, the biggest two of my

513
00:32:03.519 --> 00:32:09.960
fists in the road. And they weren't there three weeks ago,

514
00:32:10.440 --> 00:32:13.480
and when I came back home one day, that there

515
00:32:13.519 --> 00:32:17.839
they are. Nothing has happened on the property that I

516
00:32:17.880 --> 00:32:20.519
know of. We got scratches on the back of our

517
00:32:20.559 --> 00:32:24.680
barn about eye level, and a friend came out and

518
00:32:24.720 --> 00:32:27.759
said that that's what we thought too, was that it

519
00:32:27.799 --> 00:32:30.680
was a mountain lion. Now we got chickens. Nothing ever

520
00:32:30.720 --> 00:32:35.839
eached the chickens. It's whatever is there is not bothering us.

521
00:32:36.000 --> 00:32:38.599
And actually we kind of think that it's keeping other

522
00:32:38.640 --> 00:32:42.200
things from bothering us, because all along the back of

523
00:32:42.039 --> 00:32:48.599
the garage it's a ten siding, there's scratches in every

524
00:32:48.640 --> 00:32:53.039
panel all the way down. And so a friend of

525
00:32:53.079 --> 00:32:55.200
mine said that it was a mountain lion. We've never

526
00:32:55.240 --> 00:32:59.519
found tracks. I put up trail cameras, never caught anything

527
00:32:59.559 --> 00:33:02.799
on the trail cameras ever. But the scratches, like I said,

528
00:33:02.799 --> 00:33:05.799
they're at eye level, and I'm five nine five ten,

529
00:33:06.519 --> 00:33:08.279
and so they're at my high level. All the way

530
00:33:08.319 --> 00:33:11.839
down side there that that is unusual, but I could

531
00:33:11.920 --> 00:33:13.839
chalk it up to maybe a mountain lion. I don't

532
00:33:13.839 --> 00:33:17.519
know what else would do it. But in the north

533
00:33:17.599 --> 00:33:22.559
end of the barn there's a gouge and that goes horizontally.

534
00:33:23.359 --> 00:33:25.599
It wasn't None of these were there when we moved in.

535
00:33:25.759 --> 00:33:28.279
We got chickens. They always go around behind the barn,

536
00:33:28.319 --> 00:33:30.079
so we're always back behind the barn all the time,

537
00:33:30.799 --> 00:33:33.079
and we just started noticing this stuff. There's a gouge

538
00:33:33.079 --> 00:33:37.279
for something had stuck a claw or something, a knife

539
00:33:37.319 --> 00:33:39.680
I don't know in the side of the barn and

540
00:33:39.759 --> 00:33:42.799
ripped about a foot long gash in the side of

541
00:33:42.839 --> 00:33:48.559
the aluminum. I don't know what would have done it.

542
00:33:49.359 --> 00:33:53.039
I don't we don't have It was never there before.

543
00:33:53.160 --> 00:33:54.759
Like I said, we just bought it in February, and

544
00:33:56.759 --> 00:33:59.599
so we looked when we got there, we looked all over,

545
00:34:00.039 --> 00:34:02.599
so it looked over everything, and all this stuff is

546
00:34:02.920 --> 00:34:09.639
new stuff. But the strangest things we noticed was probably less.

547
00:34:09.760 --> 00:34:12.800
It's a mile to the hard road, right, so maybe

548
00:34:13.559 --> 00:34:15.760
two tenths of a mile is where from the house

549
00:34:15.800 --> 00:34:17.800
from the driveway is where we've seen that big tree

550
00:34:19.079 --> 00:34:22.199
broke off at the top about ten feet high, and

551
00:34:22.239 --> 00:34:25.280
that's what opened our eyes to say, hey, something's out here.

552
00:34:25.320 --> 00:34:29.519
That it was a fresh break, something's out here that's

553
00:34:29.519 --> 00:34:31.679
doing this. And then we started noticing the old trees

554
00:34:31.679 --> 00:34:34.559
that had been pushed over, and then a lot of

555
00:34:34.639 --> 00:34:42.760
new trees, and it's just a continuing thing. But nothing

556
00:34:42.960 --> 00:34:46.199
at the house. I've seen big and we have a small,

557
00:34:46.320 --> 00:34:48.760
real tiny river rock all around the front of the house,

558
00:34:48.920 --> 00:34:53.079
and I've seen impressions there, but I've seen prints for

559
00:34:53.960 --> 00:34:57.639
Mountain Lion there too, So I don't know what it is.

560
00:34:58.000 --> 00:35:04.960
There's nothing definite, right, it's just a large impression. I'm

561
00:35:04.960 --> 00:35:08.559
not going to speculate to what it could be. But

562
00:35:09.800 --> 00:35:17.159
we don't we go outside. We don't feel any you know,

563
00:35:17.199 --> 00:35:20.000
we're not afraid to go outside. It's not like the

564
00:35:20.000 --> 00:35:22.800
there's any thread out there to us. You know. We're

565
00:35:22.840 --> 00:35:27.320
in the hot tuble lot, okay, And nothing has ever

566
00:35:27.360 --> 00:35:29.559
bothered the house or the property that we know of.

567
00:35:31.199 --> 00:35:34.400
So, man, this is a really really interesting one. So

568
00:35:34.960 --> 00:35:38.960
was it February twenty six or earlier that you purchased

569
00:35:39.000 --> 00:35:41.639
the property?

570
00:35:42.199 --> 00:35:46.719
It was February twenty Okay, it was on Valentine's Day

571
00:35:48.320 --> 00:35:51.920
that we purchased the property in twenty four and it

572
00:35:52.039 --> 00:35:58.599
was it was early summer that we started noticing all

573
00:35:58.599 --> 00:36:03.559
this stuff. Early summer, like June July that we when

574
00:36:03.599 --> 00:36:05.519
we noticed that big tree broke over, and then we

575
00:36:05.559 --> 00:36:10.000
started noticing more trees and then just it's not every day,

576
00:36:09.800 --> 00:36:12.880
but at least once a month you see a new

577
00:36:12.920 --> 00:36:17.920
tree pushed over. You know, rocks in the road that

578
00:36:18.719 --> 00:36:21.199
you know, if it was one or two, like I said,

579
00:36:21.239 --> 00:36:24.000
I could justify it or I could explain it away.

580
00:36:24.480 --> 00:36:26.679
Is that us driving over it would kick up or

581
00:36:26.719 --> 00:36:32.400
work up a rock, you know, but not twenty or

582
00:36:32.440 --> 00:36:36.119
thirty all along the road. You know, it's just and

583
00:36:36.159 --> 00:36:40.480
we don't have Like I said, there's a mini bike

584
00:36:40.639 --> 00:36:43.400
or an ATV that comes through there occasionally, but mostly

585
00:36:43.400 --> 00:36:45.559
it's just me and my wife that are driving in

586
00:36:45.599 --> 00:36:50.920
and out. So occasionally the game warden comes through there.

587
00:36:53.000 --> 00:36:56.159
You know, the logging company will check it rarely, but

588
00:36:56.559 --> 00:36:58.440
mostly it's just me and my wife coming in and

589
00:36:58.440 --> 00:37:00.880
out of the.

590
00:37:00.280 --> 00:37:07.320
So has your wife experienced anything weird? I would imagine

591
00:37:07.320 --> 00:37:12.159
there's times when you're off at work and she's on

592
00:37:12.239 --> 00:37:13.719
the property by herself.

593
00:37:13.760 --> 00:37:20.000
Correct, Yes, yes, No, she hasn't reported to me that

594
00:37:20.159 --> 00:37:25.440
anything in that regards. There's been some instances that, you know,

595
00:37:25.480 --> 00:37:28.159
somebody was shooting out there, way too close to the

596
00:37:28.199 --> 00:37:33.599
house or something like that. But no, she hasn't reported

597
00:37:33.639 --> 00:37:36.119
anything to me. And she goes out most of the time,

598
00:37:36.159 --> 00:37:38.280
feeds the chickens a lot of time, especially in the

599
00:37:38.320 --> 00:37:42.440
winter time. We get home after dark and she will

600
00:37:42.480 --> 00:37:45.800
go out there and feed the chickens. And I said,

601
00:37:45.800 --> 00:37:47.880
we leave the chickens out a lot of times, and

602
00:37:47.920 --> 00:37:50.880
not overnight but during the day and nothing. It's just

603
00:37:50.880 --> 00:37:55.199
a small chicken coop with a small run. It's just

604
00:37:55.239 --> 00:37:58.880
a wire. So anything that wanted to get that big,

605
00:37:58.920 --> 00:38:01.679
would want to get to the chicks could have. But there's,

606
00:38:02.239 --> 00:38:05.239
like I said, there's no indication other than the scratches

607
00:38:05.280 --> 00:38:10.320
on the side of the barn of anything even attempting

608
00:38:10.360 --> 00:38:16.280
to disturb anything. So my daughter's been out there, she

609
00:38:16.280 --> 00:38:23.440
she's not reported anything. She lives in Aberdeen, but but

610
00:38:23.679 --> 00:38:26.440
she comes out occasionally and watches the place where we're gone,

611
00:38:26.440 --> 00:38:29.039
and she's not reported anything. It's just me and my

612
00:38:29.079 --> 00:38:31.800
wife will be driving to or from work and she'll say, hey,

613
00:38:32.400 --> 00:38:34.719
is that tree new or is that said Yeah, that's new.

614
00:38:35.039 --> 00:38:38.239
You know, I watch for things that are the change,

615
00:38:38.280 --> 00:38:40.519
that are different, that aren't there, aren't out of place.

616
00:38:41.320 --> 00:38:46.519
The nature of my job, you know that training, you know,

617
00:38:46.639 --> 00:38:50.159
or habits, right, you notice things that that shouldn't be

618
00:38:50.159 --> 00:38:55.559
there or are out of place. They're different, they're wrong.

619
00:38:55.679 --> 00:38:58.960
Absolutely. Have you looked to see if there have been

620
00:39:00.079 --> 00:39:04.760
sightings in the past or or interactions with bigfoot in

621
00:39:04.800 --> 00:39:06.840
the area that you're at now?

622
00:39:08.280 --> 00:39:12.960
Yes, I did do a little bit of research here

623
00:39:13.199 --> 00:39:17.440
right before I as I come across your your podcast,

624
00:39:18.519 --> 00:39:21.400
and it seems like this area has been pretty heavy.

625
00:39:22.199 --> 00:39:26.559
Panhandle Lake, there's been a lot around Panhanna Lake up

626
00:39:26.599 --> 00:39:34.079
at Hoodsport is north of US, and there's a lot

627
00:39:34.079 --> 00:39:37.719
of a lot of stuff around there. Because we're right

628
00:39:37.719 --> 00:39:40.199
at the foot of the Cascade Mountains. We see the Cascade,

629
00:39:40.360 --> 00:39:42.360
or not the Cascade Mountains, but the Olympic Mountains on

630
00:39:42.360 --> 00:39:46.199
the way home. So we're right at the foothills. I

631
00:39:46.199 --> 00:39:48.760
guess of that because we're surrounded by I wouldn't call

632
00:39:48.800 --> 00:39:51.360
them mountains, but tall hills. In Illinois and southern Illinois

633
00:39:51.400 --> 00:39:53.320
they call the mountains, but around here they're just small

634
00:39:53.400 --> 00:39:59.320
hills down So yeah, there's there has definitely been some

635
00:39:59.360 --> 00:40:05.039
sightings because we're the last residents on that road, on

636
00:40:05.079 --> 00:40:11.280
that hard road for miles and there's nothing but Timber

637
00:40:11.320 --> 00:40:14.840
Company land out there, nothing, and so oh my goodness, it.

638
00:40:14.920 --> 00:40:22.079
Just it it feels like you are about to I

639
00:40:22.199 --> 00:40:23.960
just think it's got a weird feeling. It feels like

640
00:40:24.000 --> 00:40:27.519
you're about to experience some some really interesting I mean

641
00:40:27.559 --> 00:40:30.960
you already are experiencing interesting stuff. But I mean I'm

642
00:40:31.000 --> 00:40:35.639
just taking in consideration, Like I know that the snowpack

643
00:40:35.800 --> 00:40:40.960
is really down this year, and so unfortunately there's yeah,

644
00:40:41.039 --> 00:40:45.719
my guess is probably going to be some fires up

645
00:40:45.719 --> 00:40:48.079
where you're at. I know Lake Cushman got hit really

646
00:40:48.079 --> 00:40:53.679
hard last year. And yeah, the most activity I've experienced

647
00:40:53.679 --> 00:40:57.960
out in Oregon have been when there was there was

648
00:40:58.000 --> 00:41:02.239
a fire that was nearby on the lam At, And man,

649
00:41:02.360 --> 00:41:06.400
I just I'm wondering, like if if there's some fires

650
00:41:06.400 --> 00:41:08.719
that kick up in your area and then they it

651
00:41:08.840 --> 00:41:11.880
starts moving around, and like I'm just like, man, what

652
00:41:11.960 --> 00:41:15.280
kind of activity could come come out of nowhere for

653
00:41:15.320 --> 00:41:15.760
you guys?

654
00:41:16.440 --> 00:41:19.920
Well, you know it could. I think a lot of

655
00:41:19.920 --> 00:41:24.760
these there. I had speculation to myself right that when

656
00:41:24.760 --> 00:41:27.079
we lived in young, there was nothing there, and then

657
00:41:27.119 --> 00:41:30.719
there was and then nothing. They're nomadic, they go where

658
00:41:30.760 --> 00:41:34.519
the food is, you know, uh, and I for whatever reason,

659
00:41:34.559 --> 00:41:38.320
it seemed like they wintered over here. But if there

660
00:41:38.400 --> 00:41:44.239
is fires and things, that a great possibility that the

661
00:41:44.280 --> 00:41:47.119
interactivity is going to go up. You know, people are

662
00:41:47.119 --> 00:41:50.840
going to have more interactions, especially us being at where

663
00:41:50.840 --> 00:41:55.360
we are. And it seems then in my case, I've

664
00:41:55.400 --> 00:41:57.880
heard on on your podcast and others that you know,

665
00:41:59.239 --> 00:42:01.360
people are more sceptible to this, and it seems like

666
00:42:03.000 --> 00:42:08.760
it's increasing. It's a more intense intensive now since I'm

667
00:42:08.760 --> 00:42:11.159
out here, and it just seems like it's continuing to

668
00:42:11.280 --> 00:42:15.559
grow because I never had had a siding, never had

669
00:42:15.559 --> 00:42:21.400
a siding until three weeks ago, never had the type

670
00:42:21.440 --> 00:42:24.559
activity you know, keep an answer a little bit there,

671
00:42:24.719 --> 00:42:29.159
you know, very little at Yell, but out here it

672
00:42:29.199 --> 00:42:31.920
seems like it's it's growing in intensity. So I think

673
00:42:31.960 --> 00:42:34.360
I'm going to start having more and more activity.

674
00:42:34.440 --> 00:42:39.000
Yeah, And it's like it feels like in the more

675
00:42:39.079 --> 00:42:44.719
that you start noticing stuff and kind of putting your

676
00:42:44.719 --> 00:42:48.039
intention onto it. I think that kind of has something

677
00:42:48.159 --> 00:42:50.960
to do with it too. But it'll be interesting. I mean,

678
00:42:51.000 --> 00:42:55.760
I would say, you know, please keep keep us in

679
00:42:55.920 --> 00:42:59.599
the loop with if you continue to notice things like

680
00:42:59.639 --> 00:43:01.599
I can't even imagine what's going to go on in

681
00:43:01.599 --> 00:43:03.320
that property around October.

682
00:43:05.239 --> 00:43:10.480
I know, yeah, well we did notice after you come

683
00:43:10.519 --> 00:43:12.960
off the logan rode onto the driveway, we've got a

684
00:43:12.960 --> 00:43:16.760
big rock and we found some pieces of metal laying

685
00:43:16.880 --> 00:43:22.000
up there that weren't there before, so a rusty nut

686
00:43:22.039 --> 00:43:24.400
and a flat plate with a hole in it. It's like,

687
00:43:24.760 --> 00:43:27.840
is this did the previous owners never said anything about it?

688
00:43:27.880 --> 00:43:30.480
Of course they wouldn't they wanted to sell the place,

689
00:43:31.760 --> 00:43:35.760
But did they use those gifting rock or you know? Yeah,

690
00:43:35.760 --> 00:43:37.559
I don't know. So we're going to try something and

691
00:43:38.000 --> 00:43:40.280
see if we get a response. Now I will say

692
00:43:40.320 --> 00:43:46.320
that I got a sling for Christmas, a blaric sling,

693
00:43:46.559 --> 00:43:50.119
right like David and Gliad slain. And I was slinging

694
00:43:50.159 --> 00:43:55.519
into the trees behind the house and you find rounded

695
00:43:55.559 --> 00:43:58.559
stones and they fly the best, right the plat onems don't.

696
00:43:58.599 --> 00:44:02.920
And then after that I found rocks in the driveway

697
00:44:03.159 --> 00:44:06.039
from where I was throwing these things from that they

698
00:44:06.039 --> 00:44:08.880
were coming back out of the trees and into the driveway.

699
00:44:09.199 --> 00:44:14.079
And that was about a month and a half ago

700
00:44:14.480 --> 00:44:17.760
that I was throwing them out there and right after

701
00:44:17.840 --> 00:44:24.559
Christmas anyway, January, middle of January, I guess. And now

702
00:44:24.599 --> 00:44:29.400
I'm finding rocks in the driveway that weren't there before

703
00:44:29.480 --> 00:44:31.599
we got a gravel driveway, and so it's you know,

704
00:44:31.679 --> 00:44:33.639
sharp edged, right, they're not good for slaying it with

705
00:44:33.639 --> 00:44:38.360
the round rocks in which they're plentiful out here, but

706
00:44:38.480 --> 00:44:41.800
not in the driveway. And now I'm finding in the driveway.

707
00:44:41.840 --> 00:44:43.599
So some of those rocks are coming back out of

708
00:44:43.599 --> 00:44:44.400
the woods definitely.

709
00:44:44.639 --> 00:44:49.159
So you're saying that you are are contemplating setting up

710
00:44:49.599 --> 00:44:52.199
maybe some kind of gifting situation.

711
00:44:54.719 --> 00:44:56.639
Yeah, I don't know if that's a good idea, but

712
00:44:56.679 --> 00:44:58.159
we thought about it. It's down at the end of

713
00:44:58.159 --> 00:44:59.559
the driveway. We've got a gate at the end of

714
00:44:59.559 --> 00:45:01.719
the driveway way and it's on the other side of

715
00:45:01.760 --> 00:45:06.519
the gate. Yeah, and it's rocks, and I guess it's

716
00:45:06.559 --> 00:45:08.719
about a foot and a half. It's almost like a

717
00:45:08.840 --> 00:45:11.639
rounded cube a foot and half by foot and a half,

718
00:45:11.679 --> 00:45:15.559
I would guess it. Uh, And these pieces of metal

719
00:45:15.559 --> 00:45:18.199
were laying on top, and so they weren't there before

720
00:45:19.360 --> 00:45:21.159
we walked down the road, you know. So we go

721
00:45:21.199 --> 00:45:23.440
down the driveway. We walk past this rock all the time,

722
00:45:23.480 --> 00:45:28.199
and so we just found them this week. So wow,

723
00:45:28.920 --> 00:45:31.920
we're gonna we're gonna try it. Put some plumbs out

724
00:45:32.039 --> 00:45:32.440
or something.

725
00:45:32.599 --> 00:45:36.320
Okay, yeah, yeah, definitely, and see what.

726
00:45:37.159 --> 00:45:40.320
See what happens. I had set some rocks out on

727
00:45:40.360 --> 00:45:42.760
a on a stump. The previous owner had carved a

728
00:45:42.800 --> 00:45:46.519
stump into the shape of like a a mushroom, and

729
00:45:46.760 --> 00:45:50.559
I put some lights and rocks out there, and a

730
00:45:50.559 --> 00:45:52.920
couple of weeks later they forgot about it for and

731
00:45:52.920 --> 00:45:56.039
then it's like, oh, wonder where those rocks are. They're gone.

732
00:45:58.159 --> 00:46:00.639
I don't know. Maybe a squirrel or bird got up

733
00:46:00.639 --> 00:46:02.760
there knocked them off and I don't know, but anyway,

734
00:46:02.760 --> 00:46:05.599
they're gone. They were on the stump over by where

735
00:46:05.639 --> 00:46:08.320
the woods where I was slinging the rocks and so,

736
00:46:08.599 --> 00:46:11.239
and this was last summer that I stuck them up there,

737
00:46:11.320 --> 00:46:15.679
just to you know, put them up there. I don't know,

738
00:46:16.079 --> 00:46:18.880
and you know, they're gone. So I'm gonna I'm gonna

739
00:46:18.920 --> 00:46:22.400
try the gifting rock thing. Yeah, it would be interesting.

740
00:46:23.400 --> 00:46:27.000
You know, you're saying, like plums or apples, and they

741
00:46:27.079 --> 00:46:29.760
put a few of those up there and see what

742
00:46:30.000 --> 00:46:34.320
the reaction or response is you know, if they're taken

743
00:46:34.639 --> 00:46:38.440
or a certain number taken. So how do you guys

744
00:46:39.159 --> 00:46:43.119
feel living in a potential situation like this, Are you

745
00:46:43.360 --> 00:46:48.400
feeling a certain way towards stuff that you're starting to experience.

746
00:46:51.039 --> 00:46:56.360
Curiosity more than anything. It's I don't, like I said,

747
00:46:56.360 --> 00:46:58.440
I don't feel fear. I don't have a problem walking

748
00:46:58.480 --> 00:47:00.440
out and the property, going to own up to the

749
00:47:00.519 --> 00:47:06.039
chicken house, going to my shop, whatever. You know, there's

750
00:47:06.079 --> 00:47:09.039
a lot of times that I'll need something out of

751
00:47:09.079 --> 00:47:10.960
the shop to fix something at the house, especially in

752
00:47:11.000 --> 00:47:15.280
the winter time it's dark right in the evenings. We

753
00:47:15.400 --> 00:47:18.920
never felt any fear. We don't feel like we're in

754
00:47:19.079 --> 00:47:22.360
any threat of anything. So right now it's just curiosity

755
00:47:22.599 --> 00:47:25.880
to see what would what's going to.

756
00:47:27.719 --> 00:47:33.719
Can I ask what your religious background is? Yeah, I'm

757
00:47:33.719 --> 00:47:43.679
a Christian, Yeah yeah, yeah.

758
00:47:40.719 --> 00:47:43.239
Raised in the church, got away from it for a while,

759
00:47:43.320 --> 00:47:46.599
but now I am Yeah, I see the way of

760
00:47:46.639 --> 00:47:59.320
the world, So I am full Gospel, Holy Roland the most.

761
00:48:00.400 --> 00:48:05.840
So I've been in this for four or five years,

762
00:48:05.880 --> 00:48:10.159
and I would say for people that start to get

763
00:48:10.199 --> 00:48:16.119
into this subject and start to experience activity, one of

764
00:48:16.159 --> 00:48:20.519
the one of the best pieces of advice I can

765
00:48:20.559 --> 00:48:25.960
give is to figure out what you put your trust

766
00:48:26.000 --> 00:48:29.960
in and make sure that you are actively trusting in

767
00:48:30.079 --> 00:48:35.960
that during this time, because stuff can, stuff can really

768
00:48:36.400 --> 00:48:39.000
start to happen, and it can be it can get

769
00:48:39.039 --> 00:48:43.480
really weird. But you know, if you're the name of

770
00:48:43.559 --> 00:48:46.719
Jesus is very strong, and you know there's nothing more

771
00:48:46.800 --> 00:48:51.599
powerful than Jesus Christ for sure. So I think as

772
00:48:51.639 --> 00:48:54.159
long as you're able to to keep that in mind,

773
00:48:54.480 --> 00:48:58.199
which you definitely are, I think that's that's one of

774
00:48:58.239 --> 00:49:01.639
the most important things. But can get very interesting.

775
00:49:01.800 --> 00:49:07.119
Well, other things, other things in our life have strengthened

776
00:49:07.360 --> 00:49:11.440
our faith. We had a little ultra light airplane. It's

777
00:49:11.440 --> 00:49:17.119
a little tubular steel two place thing, right, and we

778
00:49:17.159 --> 00:49:19.199
thought it was going to be a ministry. The colors

779
00:49:19.199 --> 00:49:23.880
were red, black and white, you know, black for the sand,

780
00:49:25.039 --> 00:49:27.039
washed by the blood and left us white as snowe

781
00:49:27.079 --> 00:49:28.519
and so we were going to try to use that.

782
00:49:29.599 --> 00:49:31.960
We always said, if it doesn't work out, we'll praise

783
00:49:32.000 --> 00:49:36.800
him anyway. And it didn't work at it well, it crashed.

784
00:49:39.199 --> 00:49:41.960
The runway was rough and it stuck the elevator in

785
00:49:42.000 --> 00:49:43.679
the up position and I couldn't get it on. So

786
00:49:43.719 --> 00:49:45.239
I just slamming on the ground and I ended up

787
00:49:45.280 --> 00:49:48.760
wrapping it around a railroad tie they had sticken in

788
00:49:48.760 --> 00:49:51.079
in the ground hole to tie back a hangar door,

789
00:49:51.320 --> 00:49:54.599
and it just folded that little airplane around it. But

790
00:49:54.679 --> 00:49:58.159
we praised him anyway. So we found this place then,

791
00:49:58.280 --> 00:50:01.039
and we wanted a place with a landing strip on

792
00:50:01.079 --> 00:50:02.760
our flat land, you know, so we can make a

793
00:50:02.840 --> 00:50:06.400
landing strip. And it didn't work out, but uh, our

794
00:50:06.400 --> 00:50:11.760
faith is just getting stronger, and so yeah, that's where

795
00:50:11.760 --> 00:50:12.880
we put faith in trust.

796
00:50:12.920 --> 00:50:19.199
That's great thinking this, it's doug This is really really

797
00:50:19.239 --> 00:50:22.880
interesting one, just because it's always it always gets me,

798
00:50:23.039 --> 00:50:25.800
Like there's when I talk to someone where you can

799
00:50:25.840 --> 00:50:27.519
feel they're right in the middle of it. They are

800
00:50:27.639 --> 00:50:31.280
right in the middle of it, right before things are

801
00:50:31.360 --> 00:50:36.639
gonna either they're either just be flat lined or they're

802
00:50:36.679 --> 00:50:39.679
going to like really ramp up, like you you know,

803
00:50:39.760 --> 00:50:41.599
it's kind of like you're going up a roller coaster.

804
00:50:41.639 --> 00:50:45.519
You have that weird feeling, and it's I don't feel

805
00:50:45.639 --> 00:50:49.079
in every interview where I'm talking, but sometimes you can

806
00:50:49.199 --> 00:50:50.800
just like tell you and be like, oh man, yeah,

807
00:50:50.880 --> 00:50:54.559
it is like right there. It's very very very strange.

808
00:50:54.679 --> 00:50:58.519
But I yeah, so I want to make sure that

809
00:50:58.599 --> 00:51:01.920
you're you know able to to share all the things

810
00:51:01.920 --> 00:51:06.559
that you've experienced so far in this area out in Shelton.

811
00:51:10.639 --> 00:51:16.440
Yeah. If there's any other people that have experienced the

812
00:51:16.480 --> 00:51:19.800
stuff that you've had interviews with that want to contact

813
00:51:19.800 --> 00:51:25.679
me there that are close by, yeah, feel free to

814
00:51:25.679 --> 00:51:29.239
give them my information and maybe pass notes across to

815
00:51:29.280 --> 00:51:29.679
see what.

816
00:51:30.159 --> 00:51:35.719
Absolutely and is. So your email is that's the wrong

817
00:51:36.119 --> 00:51:41.679
hold on, Hold on different, Doug. So your email that

818
00:51:41.719 --> 00:51:44.519
you provided, that's something that I can put in the

819
00:51:44.519 --> 00:51:46.880
description of the episodes so people can reach out to

820
00:51:46.920 --> 00:51:50.239
you with that. Okay, gotcha, the hotmail one. So I'll

821
00:51:50.960 --> 00:51:55.480
so guys look at the description and then email Doug

822
00:51:55.559 --> 00:51:59.360
directly because I get so many emails that is really

823
00:51:59.639 --> 00:52:03.119
hard to keep up with them. So your best bet

824
00:52:03.159 --> 00:52:07.000
is to Contactley. Yeah, Doug, thank you so much for

825
00:52:07.440 --> 00:52:10.239
coming on the show and for sharing what you guys

826
00:52:10.360 --> 00:52:14.440
are experiencing out there in Mason County and definitely keep

827
00:52:14.519 --> 00:52:18.719
us in the loop with what continues to happen the

828
00:52:18.800 --> 00:52:21.079
rest of the year. But thanks for hanging out today.

829
00:52:23.840 --> 00:52:26.719
Oh hey, thank you, thank you for inviting me. And

830
00:52:26.800 --> 00:52:29.280
now I have a resource that I can go to

831
00:52:29.280 --> 00:52:32.119
look at other podcasts as which I've done to learn

832
00:52:32.119 --> 00:52:35.480
more about this, to see maybe there's things that are

833
00:52:35.480 --> 00:52:37.519
happening that I'm missing that I didn't know that was

834
00:52:37.840 --> 00:52:40.400
part of the behavior or part of the ritual or

835
00:52:40.480 --> 00:52:43.199
whatever whatever you want to call the things that they're

836
00:52:43.239 --> 00:52:46.039
doing that I'm just overlooking. So I'm going to continue

837
00:52:46.079 --> 00:52:48.400
to study and research and I'll let you know if

838
00:52:48.400 --> 00:52:49.480
anything else comes up.

839
00:52:49.679 --> 00:52:51.480
That's awesome, great to talk to you today.

840
00:52:51.519 --> 00:52:55.960
But Doug, thank you, well, thank you, and have a

841
00:52:56.000 --> 00:52:56.480
great day.

842
00:52:57.639 --> 00:53:00.639
Have you ever heard all the accounts of bigfoot activity

843
00:53:00.679 --> 00:53:03.880
around Oakridge, Oregon? And you think to yourself, Man, I

844
00:53:03.920 --> 00:53:06.760
would love to get out in those woods and experience

845
00:53:06.800 --> 00:53:11.320
it for myself. Well, guess what this year you can.

846
00:53:12.000 --> 00:53:14.960
If this is interesting to you, stay tuned because it's

847
00:53:14.960 --> 00:53:19.920
pretty cool. Sasquatch Summer Fest is coming up July tenth

848
00:53:20.000 --> 00:53:23.960
through the eleventh, twenty twenty six. It's gonna be even

849
00:53:24.039 --> 00:53:27.880
better than the previous year's reason number one, I'll be

850
00:53:27.880 --> 00:53:31.000
one of the speakers. It's gonna be wild. I'll probably

851
00:53:32.199 --> 00:53:36.320
I'll say this, there may be stuff you haven't heard

852
00:53:36.440 --> 00:53:42.480
anywhere else, because let's just say, sometimes it's well, you

853
00:53:42.599 --> 00:53:45.039
just gotta be there. We'll leave at that. More about

854

860
00:54:14.760 --> 00:54:18.559

his documentary series, which is Searching for Sasquatch. This is

863
00:54:25.719 --> 00:54:28.199
a once in a lifetime deal. It's just trust it's

864
00:54:28.239 --> 00:54:33.159

00:54:50.199 --> 00:54:54.920

can get a little a little help with the costs there.

871
00:55:00.199 --> 00:55:03.880
Appreciate that, Priscilla. I hope to see you at the

872
00:55:03.920 --> 00:55:07.519
booth in Oakridge this year. We can talk about your

873
00:55:07.639 --> 00:55:10.280
encounter was able to talk to so many people last

874
00:55:10.320 --> 00:55:14.239
year and the year before. It is an incredible time.

875
00:55:14.679 --> 00:55:16.440
You're not going to want to miss it, and I'll

876
00:55:16.440 --> 00:55:20.920
see you there Before we wrap this episode, I want

877
00:55:20.920 --> 00:55:24.280
to say something directly to a very specific group of listeners.

878
00:55:24.519 --> 00:55:28.239
If you're in the military, any branch or forces, and

879
00:55:28.320 --> 00:55:31.239
if you've seen something that no one can explain, or

880
00:55:31.239 --> 00:55:34.320
if you're a National park ranger or forestry worker who's

881
00:55:34.360 --> 00:55:37.199
been told to stay quiet, or if you're a pilot

882
00:55:37.239 --> 00:55:40.760
who's seen something strange down on the ground, or if

883
00:55:40.800 --> 00:55:44.360
you're with the FBI a federal agency, or working intelligence

884
00:55:44.559 --> 00:55:47.599
and you stumbled upon something you're not allowed to talk about.

885
00:55:47.880 --> 00:55:50.800
And if you're a firefighter, paramedic, or search and rescue

886
00:55:50.840 --> 00:55:54.719
responder who's heard screams or found tracks that didn't make sense.

887
00:55:55.239 --> 00:55:59.079
If you're in the logging industry on a remote oil field,

888
00:55:59.239 --> 00:56:02.239
or a trucker the government contracts, and you've had something

889
00:56:02.360 --> 00:56:05.760
happen that you've never told a soul. And if you're

890
00:56:05.760 --> 00:56:09.639
a biologist, a wildlife specialist, or a field researcher under

891
00:56:09.679 --> 00:56:13.039
contract who has found evidence you're not allowed to report.

892
00:56:13.559 --> 00:56:16.039
If you're a pastor, a missionary or someone on a

893
00:56:16.079 --> 00:56:19.559
spiritual retreat and you saw something that shook your faith,

894
00:56:20.239 --> 00:56:23.360
or if you work in the shadows CIA, NSA or

895
00:56:23.400 --> 00:56:26.760
anything with clearance and you've seen what the public hasn't,

896
00:56:28.119 --> 00:56:31.599
then I want to talk to you, even if it's anonymous.

897
00:56:33.360 --> 00:56:36.880
You can reach me at Bigfoot Society at gmail dot com.

898
00:56:37.320 --> 00:56:39.760

900
00:56:46.119 --> 00:56:49.960
We've got the mic. See you in the woods. Thank

00:56:55.360 --> 00:56:58.519
bigger and stranger than we think, and that the truth

904
00:56:58.559 --> 00:57:01.400
is often hiding just beyond the tree line. If you
