So I said hey, and this thing stood up and was like, I would say, a good eight feet tall, and me, I have been a believer in you know, bigfoot and cryptids and things like that, so I was like, I said hey again. And as soon as I said that, it turned and took off like further into the woods, and I ducked underneath the rhododendrons near where it was standing, because at this point I kind of still thought this is a person, Like, what the heck you're watching me go to the bathroom. And I came through the rhododendrons, and I could hear it like loud, like like running

And about the time that I came through the rhododendrons, off to the other side, there was a drastic, like a sheer drop off that led down to I mean probably fifty probably a fifty foot drop that led down to a creek that went around further through the woods. And by the time that I got from where I was standing to where this drop off was, I mean, it took me probably thirty seconds. This thing was already down on the other side. It did something that would have taken me, even with my ropes and climbing gear. It did something that would have taken me fifteen twenty minutes to get to the other side. And it was probably thirty forty five seconds worth of actual movement time.

2:20 Oh my goodness. Oh wow, that is extremely intense because you were two hours off trail. There's no way it was anyone. Yeah. I immediately ran back to where my friend was at and he was sitting in the river, like, Hey, where you been? And I told him and he was like like we both were like what the heck? You know kind of thing. Wow, any weird smells when it was around you. Well, when I got to where I was going to go to the restroom, I smelt what I thought might have been like like a like a dead rabbit or a dead squirrel or something kind of like a dead animal will smell. But being out in the woods, being up in the mountains you go hiking, sometimes you'll just get a whiff of that and then you'll come across like a dead squirrel or something, and you're like, oh, that's that's what it was. So I didn't think too much of it until I saw what I saw, and then I was like, well, heck, maybe that's what it was.

3:18 But did you hear it make any noise like when it when it got up or ran off or anything. At a time, there was the running obviously, like the heavy footsteps, but when it was crouched down, when it stood up, I almost heard like like an exhale and kind of like it was almost like you know when you're when so like I'm like thirty five now and my knees are starting to kind of be a little a little tough on me from sports and stuff, so you know when you stand up and you kind of go ugh, like that It was almost kind of like one of those like it stood up and was like like it, you know, and then took off.

4:01 Oh my goodness. How did it affect you emotionally through all that? Well, it made me not want to go off by myself for a while, that's for sure. It wasn't something that like I wasn't I never felt scared or in like threatened. It was more of just. Like a. Like almost like an invasion of privacy. But then at the same time, I was like, there's no way that that was a person watching me, So whatever was watching me was just like hey, why are you here kind of thing? You know? Yeah, absolutely, you know. It's weird too, because this isn't the first version of this kind of thing happening that I've heard. I mean, I've heard this happens to another female out in California once, and so I don't know if it just plays into like the whole curiosity thing or but it just is something about it, and she was in the same situation that you were. Did you notice any physical details about it when it when it got up and ran off or were you not really able to see a lot because of the foliage.

5:17 There was a lot of foliage, but I could tell that it was. I mean it had to have been at least seven eight feet tall. I mean it was. It was big, and it was very I would say, stocky. So we get out there and we have to open this gate and then it's a long driveway. And then we get to the gate, we have to unlock it. And as soon as we unlocked it, I heard like a scream, like, you know, and I was like, I didn't say nothing. And he's got a dog with him, and we both, we all three of us, just was like looked at each other. Kind of like at a like did you hear that?

6:01 And I was just like, uh no. And then he was fixing to get back in the car, and it did it again, the same scream again, and it was just like sounds like it was just like over the hill, you know, down in that little golly, and there's hogs, wild hogs out there. H Armadilla's you know, deer and all that kind of stuff. And it was just a kind of scary because it was eight o'clock in the morning, you know, when we got there, and that's when we heard it screaming.

6:44 You know, it wasn't no coyote. I know what a coyote sounds like and stuff, but it was like a long scream, you know, and it was just we just the dog got quiet too, you know, and he's he's got a German and shepherd, you know, so and I was like, well, if he got quiet, I know he heard it. The dog heard it, and my coworker heard it, you know, so. I knew exactly what it was, you know, So I didn't I didn't even mention it or anything. I just went about, you know, kept painting and stuff. I paint by the way, so I was staying in the you know, the cabin and stuff, and I was trying to listen for it again and actually try to like video record it or something. But it never came back.

7:31 It was only you know, I had the phone in my pocket and stuff right right, and it was it was a scary kind of ordeal because we're way out in the middle of nowhere. I mean, if we have a flat or you. Know, something happens where we have to go stand at this little place in the driveway area just to get a signal, you know. And it's been a couple of sightings over there, one deer, I guess something was holding the deer down. I don't know what it was, but. But we got this.

8:15 Yeah a Toka Oh yeah, how recent? Uh this morning? Eight am? That that was see that that was a screaming I heard twice back to back. And it's just the old dirt road. It goes out past I think it's past Tatoka north or southeast. I forget. I think it's north kind of north of north of there, but it's like turns and stuff. And I'm not from down, you know, a Toka area. So that guy that I'm riding with, he's pretty familiar with it, okay, And he heard it and he didn't say nothing than to me, you know what I mean. Right, Yeah, we just got quiet. That was it, you know, and we kind of just looked at each other and was like he looked at me and said, what was that?

9:14 M hm? And I was like, I don't know, you know, I didn't really want to say anything, you know, but. Are you Are you working with this guy again? Yeah, I'll be working with him Monday. We're off work with them all week and stuff. But he heard it, and I know the dog heard it because he had him in the back of the bed of the truck, you know, and usually he jumped out, you know, but he stayed in the back of the bed of the truck, so I knew definitely something was you know. He was You should you should ask him next time you work with him if he's heard of any bigfoot stuff happening over at McGee Creek.

9:58 Okay, yeah, we passed their few. We passed a few creeks. Was it Cold Creek, Muggy Boggy Creek, and another one Owl Creek, And uh, it's just wooded area out there, I mean, and I'm up on the roof and I can see, like and the owner came out. He was like, well, I always have to carry my gun. And I was like, why he goes well, because he's got hog out there and you know, black bear and deer. And then he. Said, uh, he lets hunters come out there and hunt sometimes because there's a lot of deer out there, you know, and the hunter's paying, so he gets like deer feed.

10:46 And I went down there with them. Uh where he goes and drops the deer feed at and it is it is like you know, it's it's a place where I'm pretty sure he would be chilling because he put a lot of feed down there, you know what I mean, and where the deer comes, and I guess they go out there hunting and stuff like that, so it's. A pretty sure. I got pictures and stuff like that, but I got a skull of a hog and it was on the side. It was on the side of that trail, so he stopped and let me get it so and I just wanted to pick it up because I didn't know what it was, you know what I mean.
