00 Hi there, Jeremiah from Bigfoot Society here. We've got a preview of a brand new members episode. All sorts of wild encounters. You're not going to want to miss it, but I did get a preview together for you here. So, enjoy. Hey Wesley, how are you doing? Hey, good. How are you? Hey, doing good. Thanks for coming up. Feel free to share, man. Yeah, so I didn't... We didn't see a Bigfoot, but this is the first time that... I ever encountered a print, like a Bigfoot print in the ground. And this happened in the PNW by Mount Baker in Washington about four months ago. Yeah, my brother and I, we went there to actually go look for some fossils on top of this mountain.
53 It's at the very peak of the mountain called the Fossil Zone. It's about like two ridges away from Mount Baker, so we're pretty close. Anyways, in the morning, we started out on our journey, and I kept feeling like something was watching us, like this weird feeling. And then I walked ahead of my brother a little ways, and I looked back, and we found this track. And I didn't know what I was looking at. And when I looked down at it, I'm like looking, and I'm like, what the heck? My brother stepped right in it. And I'm like, bro, look what you stepped. In, you know? So we kind of switched our angle and we seen it was this massive print. And it was almost like maybe this Bigfoot was running and just left this huge imprint in the ground.
46 Well, we took some videos and got some pictures of it. And then we found a smaller print, like a smaller set of prints that was maybe like a baby bigfoot. Uh i don't really know too much if if. You know if the small ones run with the big ones i would kind of think you know that they do uh but later on we approach the fossil zone that we were after and one interesting thing that happened is Once we approached the fossil zone, we seen a group of college kids and maybe like a dad or something, right?
29 It was super early in the morning. Well, these guys told us that when they first showed up and they were about to enter into the forest. And the spot that we're at is probably about three to four miles into the forest. So it's pretty far in. But these guys told us that they saw this little furry creature stand up and yell at them. Yeah. Uh, so after that, you know, of course I told him, I said, Hey, I think it was a Bigfoot man, like a baby one. And I told him on the way back down, you know, to, to keep looking at the ground and maybe you'll see the Bigfoot print that we saw. Uh, so it was just kind of confirmed, you know, once I saw that little print and then those, those guys said they seen a little furry thing stand up on its hind legs and yell at him.
23 Uh, that was just, it was just too crazy. Man, that, that is fantastic. So do you, do you remember any, uh, like how, how big would you estimate these tracks to be? Oh man, I have like a size 13, uh, and it was probably, I. Don't know, man, it was huge. It was big. And the ground was pretty hard too. So for it to leave like such a big print, that's my only thing. I think it might've been running and just step super hard and kicked off, you know, to leave such an impression like that.
04 Have you looked to see if any other, uh, things have been documented happening in that same area that you saw those? Well, I know the Mount Baker area, uh, is, is part of the North Cascade mountain range, which leads from Canada all the way down to, uh, you know, Oregon and possibly even in the, in the California maybe. Uh, so I mean that, that whole range right there typically, uh, you know, it was like a Bigfoot hotspot, you know, where lots of people see them or lots of people have kind of strange encounters of things that have happened, you know, uh, Yeah. I, I've just been wanting to tell you about that story there. Uh, I tried to reach out to you about four, you know, a little bit after this happened, but I could just never get.
58 Get in, get in on your life and be able to tell you. I appreciate you, you, uh, you waiting it out, man. A few months ago, I got, I got diagnosed with cancer and then I, man, I've got so many messages to go through. I'm almost through the treatment, but, um, Yeah, I appreciate you waiting until you could get up to share that. That's pretty cool. Mount Baker's a cool area, man. Would you ever go back out there? Oh, yeah. Well, once we saw the print, me and my brother and I, we kept hiking a little ways after we got some documentation of it, and he actually put his hand next to it, and I snapped a picture, and you can kind of see how big it is or whatever, but we, we kept going. And then at one point we felt like something was watching us again. And we saw on the trail, there was a really big break off of a limb. And my brother was just telling me about that. He's like, if we see any breaks or anything, you know, that's them kind of telling us like, this is their area not to come in here.
08 That's what he thinks. So, uh, at that. Point where we were at with that big break because this break was probably like 12 feet in the and 12 feet off the ground it was huge you know so something really big would have to be there to snap that thing like that but at that time something surrounded us it was like running circles around us like we could hear it just moving through the forest so fast uh we got super scared you know we were like okay is it worth going to get these fossils or not uh so. So i guess.
48 Yeah you know palm tree they're super sick fossils man but uh i remembered at one point uh i met up with another triber from my tribe. Uh-oh. Wesley, you still there? Can you hear me? And I remembered he taught me that it kind of goes like, you sing like, So I didn't know what to do in that point when it was running. I saw him, but we could hear it. And so I just started singing. I started singing, Hey, Wesley. But we decided to push on.
39 Yeah, that whole part that you just shared, we totally didn't get it, or at least I didn't get it, and that's pretty interesting because it sounds like it was pretty important. I don't know. Would you be able to share that again about what someone told you and then you did? Oh, yeah, yeah. It was my tribal member. He told me that we have a name for Bigfoot, and we call him Sabe. And that's in the Ojibwe language. And so he actually shared a little song that he told me that we used to sing back in the day. And this song was to actually bring the Bigfoot in to you to let them know they're our relative because that's how my native culture views Bigfoot is we view him as our relative.
31 So we would sing Kichisabe and. At that time, I was with my brother and we heard this thing running circles around us. We were scared, man. You know, we were terrified. But I started singing out, Gichisabe. And I was just like, Gichisabe, Gichisabe. You know, I didn't know what else to do. I didn't know if this thing was going to come hurt us or, you know, like we were scared, man. Uh, but after that, it was all cool, you know, and then we ran into the group of those, those kids, those team, uh, those college students. And then they told us about the thing that stood up and yelled at them.
12 So it's running around. Do you start singing this song? Did it ha do you think there happened to be any reaction when you started singing that song? Like, did it change up when it, what it was doing at all or. I don't know. We didn't hear it running around us anymore. Very interesting. Yeah. You know, so I, my whole thing was trying to let him know. I mean, they, if it was like a Bigfoot and a little one, maybe, you know, like a baby, a baby Sabe, uh, they definitely knew we were there. Uh, and once I started singing that song, you know, like, i think hopefully they chilled out you know like nothing bad happened to us we just kind of went on our way and found some fossils but it was a pretty interesting time.
08 What a fascinating story uh and what what kind of fossils did you get again. Yeah, we got some palm tree fossils, leaf fossils, branches. It was really cool. But all of these fossils were actually on the very peak of a mountaintop. So once you get up to the top, you summit the mountain. They're just littered with fossils everywhere. You know. So this country was not many people there, you know. It was prime territory for, you know, the Bigfoot, the Sabe to roam around. Be able to do what they do. A hundred percent. And Wesley, thank you so much for coming up and sharing some important information from your tribal heritage and what happened to you guys that day. I appreciate it. I hope that you guys can hang out as well, but what a fascinating story.
06 Yeah, man. Thanks for sure. Thanks for letting me come and share that with you. I got a couple other stories. Too, so maybe some other time I'll be able to come on and share some of those with you. Sounds great. Well, we'll have to catch you next time, Wesley. Thank you so much for coming on up. Yeah, thanks. Good stuff, good stuff. That's just so fascinating when individuals share things like that from their tribal heritage. And I'm not saying to sing that song, you know, we just, you never know when you start seeing stuff like that, what will happen, right? But luckily for him, it had a good reaction.
