They Mocked Bigfoot at Salt Fork. Then Rocks Came Out of the Dark.

Two friends went into Ohio’s Salt Fork woods to joke around about Bigfoot. After knocking on a tree, they say rocks flew out of the darkness—hitting each of them in a foot. Then came a growl.

In Bigfoot Society Episode 1228, hear the encounter that left one of those men afraid of the woods, along with an Ohio deer hunter’s account of a dark figure sliding down a ravine and racing up the opposite slope on two legs.

Near Forks, Washington, a fisherman describes a moving, reddish shape he initially mistook for a log. In Idaho, a caller shares his uncle’s encounters in Bear Valley, including loud knocking on both sides of camp that prompted a 4 a.m. departure. Another witness recalls roughly a mile of large, widely spaced footprints along a snowy mountain road.

What sent rocks toward those two friends at Salt Fork? Hear the witnesses describe what happened and the questions they still carry.

47 I was with a buddy and we were goofing because everybody was talking about bigfoot at this resort and we were like it was nighttime and we were going outside in the dark to goof on the whole bigfoot thing we were like ah bigfoot so uh i had seen some video where they were smacking the tree with a stick you know uh and supposedly the bigfoot will signal you back what do they call that uh tree knocking or something and as a joke i'm like let's do some wood knocking totally goofing dude and it's dark we got our cell phones for light and we can't see nothing and uh i said to my buddy do some tree knocking this will be funny and he smacks uh the tree with a stick a few like hard a bunch of times And he comes over and stands next to me, and we got our cell phones out with the lights on, and it's really dark, so we could not see much. But all of a sudden, a rock comes flying out of the dark and hits me in the foot. And my friend said, you did that. And I said, dude, how can I have done? You're looking right at, I don't know what's going on. And then one hit him in the foot. Like, whatever threw these things had a pretty good aim, because it hit us right in the feet.

07 Like, him in the foot, me in the foot. And then we hear this, argh! But it didn't sound. It sounded almost human, almost animals. Very strange. Very weird. Salt Fork, strange stuff's going down there, man. And it's common. It's not... Everybody there had known somebody with a story or had some story at this resort. Some people didn't, and they said, oh, it's probably fake. But, dude, I think something weird's going on in Salt Fork. No, I absolutely agree with that. I've talked to many different individuals that have had visual sightings in the park. And it's at the point where even the head naturalist is totally into it and leads a big foot hikes in the park himself.

53 It's awesome. Well, you know, and you're trying to, you're trying to think of like, what's a possible explanation, uh, you know, that seems feasible. I thought maybe feral humans. Now we were, we were out in the woods. I don't, you're not allowed to camp out there. You're not allowed to hunt out there. So who is it out there? If it's a feral, could it be some people just go crazy and go out in the woods? But I got, I'll tell you, and this is, I'm going to sound nutty when I say this, but I had a very strange feeling. And my friend ran, my friend's a fat guy, and he ran up a hill so fast you never saw a fat guy run. Like it was crazy how fast he got up there. And then I was just sort of confused and It happened so fast, I was like, what? I didn't understand what was happening. But then I was alone, and he ran up the hill, and I was like, all right, I'm running.

48 But Ohio has some weird things going on, man. And I don't know if it's a– I try to just think of a million different things. It could be the spirit of the woods, feral humans. I don't know. I don't know what it was, but, dude, I'm telling you. Salt Fork has a lot of activity. If anybody wants to look for the big man in the woods, I think that's the spot. It's easy to get to, too, because it's in eastern Ohio. You don't have to go flying out to the Pacific Northwest. All you have to do is just go to Ohio. But it's a big place. You've got to be prepared for how big it is.

31 It is, but honestly, I don't think it would take somebody very long to have some sort of... We weren't even... really looking, uh, we weren't, I'm not a Bigfoot hunter or nothing like that, man. I'd laugh in your face. If you ever said that I would ever have any kind of straight, we were out there making fun of Bigfoot hunters. And then sure enough, it was like, Oh, you know, something weird is out here, man. Something I can't explain it. I don't know what it was, but, uh, I had a weird feeling in my stomach, man. It's really strange. And it messes with your mind because people make fun of you so bad. If you tell them these stories, they're like, you are a kook.

16 I'm not a kook, man. And I'm not a woods guy. I've been deep in the woods twice in my life, and both times I had a strange encounter. So I don't know, man. How big were the rocks that were or the stones that were thrown at you? Um, I'd say not huge, but not tiny. Okay. But I mean, it hit him in the foot. No bigger than pebbles, smaller than big rocks. Um, and if I had to think of what was the message that it was trying to send, it would be move your feet, get out of here.

58 Right. That's the sense I felt. That's wild. I'm telling you, man, I don't normally believe in that stuff, but Salt Fork, I can't explain it. Strange things go down there, and I'm not the only guy. It happens a lot of people in Salt Fork have stories, man. Oh, yeah. I mean, this one guy I talked to, he spent two, two and a half to three years looking through the park for the perfect place to research Bigfoot. That's how long it took them because that place is so, so big. Oh, wow. It took us maybe 15 minutes into our hike and it happened.

40 Right. Like what? Oh, man. And there's guys that sit out there for days and weeks. Maybe the key is. Still making fun of it. Well, there you go. Do you think you might go out again or is this a one-time deal for you? I'm actually scared of the woods now. I would do it, but I would be afraid. But I would do it for scientific purposes. And just now I have questions. Now I'm like, I wish I would have stayed and seen what was growling and playing rocks and making all kinds of noises out there. Because you can't see in those woods when it's dark like that. But you can hear stuff. You can hear stomping and stuff. It really changed my perspective.

24 On a lot of things. Absolutely. It really messed with my head. And I hate even talking about it on the live. I wasn't going to come on because I know I've got 6,000 followers. Now I'm afraid people are going to bust my balls about it. But yeah, man, something weird happened in Salt Fork, Ohio. That's all I can say is there's something happening there. And I'm telling you, man, there's something weird going on in Salt Fork. Oh, absolutely. And, you know, I think the first step to kind of get in control of it is to just to talk about it like you're doing right now. So I'm thankful that you came up and you kind of, you know, you were able to just say, hey, this is what I experienced and just kind of have to deal with it, you know.

12 Well, look at all these comments. You've got people saying, yeah, I've seen some. So like, OK, all these Bigfoot podcasts, hundreds, if not thousands of eyewitness accounts, They're all lying? They're all crazy? No. Some of these are really. Some of these people are people that are trustworthy people. I'm talking law enforcement, military, judges. These aren't kooks. They're people. Strange happens, man. It's a strange world. Absolutely. Well, if you ever do go out again, feel free to to uh contact me to let me know if anything else happens but uh thank you for for coming up and yeah thanks for having what happened to you i'm already following you so i i dig your stuff all right cool thank you you too hey encyclopedia how's it going hey pretty good how are you doing hey would you be uh interested in sharing what you were talking.

14 About yeah when uh i was 18 i I was hunting on our farm in Ohio. My parents purchased a farm in Zanesville. The farm was abandoned during the Depression. The houses were in disrepair. It was a little over 400 acres. So it was our first year out there. We were living down the road at an adjacent farm while we fixed this one up. I was hunting on a hillside. And I was hiding, like in a little blind. It was a natural blind. And I could see down over a ravine. I'd say it was probably a good 40, 50 foot deep, maybe 100 yards across as it ran down through. There was a very little stream in the bottom, and a dark, furry-looking... I thought it was a bear running down the side. It looked like it was... sliding on its butt going down the side of the ravine. And, um, I had it in my sights. I was hunting with a shotgun, so I didn't have a, um, scope, but I, I could see, I was sighting it, watching it. Um, I wasn't sure what it was. I thought it, my first initial thought was it was a man in a monkey suit is what I thought because, um, the way

48 it slid down the hill on his butt. And then I thought it might've been a bear. Um, and as it hit the bottom, it ran up the other side on its hind legs. Like it, it was a Sasquatch or Bigfoot or something. I did not know what it was. Um, I just watched in amazement and I, it scared me like severely because I didn't, I had a good view. Um, nothing was on the farm. It was, I'm talking 20 miles out of dirt road, like where, where we were at and nobody lives out there. It's desolate farmland lit, you know, people are very poor. Um, it, it, it was very scary. And when I always look back, the only thing that ever, and I'm not a hundred percent sure what I seen, um, but I know a bear wouldn't run on its hind legs. And the way, the speed that it ran, it was not a human because it did not break pace at all running up the other side. And the ravine was pretty steep. You know, it was, I just don't see it being a human.

01 It wasn't a bear. I don't know what it was, but it was big and black like a man wearing a monkey suit. That wouldn't be my only description of it. But there would be, there shouldn't have been no other humans out there neither. It was only me and my dad hunting. on the whole farm. What were the main things that made you think it was a guy in a monkey suit? Because I don't believe that there are Sasquatches up until that point in my life. I always watched, what, Harry and the Hendersons when we were younger. You know, it was always kind of taboo or men joking around about it.

41 Some grainy videos that you would see on. I'm 45. So what was, there was no internet back, you know, for me growing up. So you would see it on like unsolved mysteries. It was always like a grainy video of something, but you know, and I, you know, seeing is believing. So as you see something like that, your, your brain, your brain tries to process what you're saying. Is that a human? No, it's not. Is it a bear? No, it's not. I'm not sure what it was. We were deer hunting. So that's why I turned my gun on it as I was watching it. But as it, it's speed was astounding. Like it was very fast. Like me running full speed at being that age, I would have not been able to outrun it. And the way it ran up the ravine, it did not break pace at all.

36 It was, it was, the fastest thing I ever seen faster than a human. And, and to this day, I don't know what it was, but until, uh, my dad had sold the farm due to a divorce, unfortunately, but to this day, I don't think I would step foot in those woods again because I don't know what I seen. And the only logical explanation would be like, uh, it had to been something that probably, uh, I, I, If I had to say it would be a, it, it would have been a Bigfoot. It wasn't a bear. It wasn't a deer. It wasn't a dog. It was large.

19 It was fast. It was loud. And it, it would have been a Bigfoot. So I did after, you know, now I do have internet and over the years I've always looked at like, you know, like where Bigfoot sightings were in around that area. It was actually a lot. of circles, you know? So I just, I don't know. It's one of them things in life. I feel lucky I got to see it, but at the same time, my mind still doesn't process what it, what it is or what it was. Um, did you notice any, uh, any details of it when you were watching it that were made you think, Oh, that kind of, that looks like a Bigfoot, like anything to do with the head shape or, or anything?

03 No, as soon as it hit the bottom, because like I said, it looked like it slid on its butt down the one side. And I thought it was a bear. I thought it was a very large brown bear or yeah, black bear. I thought it was a very large black bear, which is they're not really that big in real life out in the woods. They're just, they're not that large. It's not like bears in Alaska or anything. So but just when it, when it got up on its hind legs, I was totally like, I didn't even breathe at that point. I do remember that. And I remember my heart just pounding.

44 And I remember thinking, you know, I do have a loaded weapon aimed at it. You know, if it, if it does turn, you know, I will take action against it, but it didn't, it didn't break its stride. It sounds like you weren't able to see its face at any time, right? No, I don't recall any facial features. It was at the angle I was. If you put it on at one o'clock, it ran from from three to nine. And I was about at a 430 position. So it was like moving away from me. but I don't remember any long hair there. There was no smells. There were no, you know, there was nothing out of the ordinary, just, uh, it was just a slow hunting day. We were out there for a few days and, you know, when it initially came down over the hill, it, it was very loud, you know, breaking branches. It was exciting as it was running, whatever it was doing. Oh yeah.

54 Um, um, At any time, could you see its arms at all? Yes. That's when I stated, like, I thought it was somebody messing with me wearing a monkey suit. Like, that's what I thought. That was my initial thought. Like, is somebody messing with me? You know? Because when you, your mind can't, my mind didn't process what was in front of me because it's, you know, I, I'm seeing something make believe a mythical creature of, of some kind. But, you know, and even to this day, my mind is, I can play it in my mind and I, and I'm still just as confused because it did things not characteristic of a human. But at the same time, I'm loading– I had a loaded weapon aimed at it. So I did hesitate as far as that because I was just confused of what it was. Was it friend or foe, a threat? It was– but I do specifically remember seeing it run up the other side. It did have legs, like long legs.

19 Yeah. But as it was going down the hill, like I said, it was sliding on its butt, but it was, it's your, your mind. And like I said, I, I find my, I think of myself as a very, I like to judge things out. You know, there's, there's always two sides to a story and you, and you look at everything. And to this day, the only logical and, and, to some of your viewers or whatever, the only logical thing would be, it was, in my opinion, would be a big foot because it, like I said, it wasn't the other things. It just couldn't have been.

01 I mean, yeah, it's, The area that you're talking about, Zanesville, it's like if you go further north, like Coshocton has a ton. And then you go like 37 minutes east, like Salt Fork is right there. And we just heard about Salt Fork and they got tons of sightings. So it's not surprising at all that you had to happen. There's a lot of desolate farmlands out there. The farming's been dead out there since the 80s, you know, and there's just nothing out there. And like I said, our farm was 20 minutes off a paved road. And there were three houses out there that were completely dilapidated. And I mean, there were just no, there's nobody out there.

47 And I just feel like my dad. was hunting one side of the farm. I was on the other. And, you know, I think something got spooked. What got spooked? I don't know, but you know, and, and I didn't talk about it when I was younger because it's something, I mean, most people think you're crazy if you say something like that. but as a man now, I still don't think I would, I would not go in those woods. Yeah. I wouldn't go into those woods being a, you know, 25 years later, even armed after what I seen, I still, I would be afraid to go in there knowing what I seen in there.

28 Um, I want to ask one more question about the, the physical part of it. Um, so the arms, um, from what you saw, were you able to get a length of the arms at all? Like how far down the body they went? Like any random big foot picture you see below the waist. Um, everything happened so fast in my mind. Like I said, it, my mind was processing what it was. And then when it got up and ran, my mind got completely blown. Um, I remember watching the legs run and I remember thinking the pace of that thing was super fast running up a steep hill, like a, you know, a leaf stick covered ravine, slippery hill. And this thing didn't break stride running up the other side. Not like a human. It was definitely animal like, but it was on its hind legs from my point of view. How far was its gate?

46 I'm sorry, what did. You say? Was it able to get up that hill in a short amount of steps? Yeah, it was, I'd say, within probably the 60 to 70 yards I had view of it, the whole thing lasted... between 15 and 20 seconds. It was amazingly fast going up the other side. That's when my brain got really confused to what I was watching because it didn't, it didn't break stride the whole way up over. Like it was scared or whatever it was running from. And it had me scared and just the way it ran the whole way up over and out of view. And like when I say ravine and I'm in a wooded lot, a wooded area, So it was very, the trees weren't, it wasn't very dense. There was a lot of shooting lanes where I was at.

58 So when it got up the ravine, did you see it running on level ground for any period of time? No, I did not. Once it was out of view, it was out of view. And then I waited around about 20 minutes and then I walked back to the truck and we left. Okay. Gotcha. Wow. That it's, that's very, I mean, that's very interesting. Uh, man. And yeah, it, it, it totally affected you for sure. You can tell. Um, have you ever been back to that spot again? No. Okay.

38 Nope. We, um, yeah, we, we stayed out there a couple more months and then unfortunately my dad, uh, his marriage fell apart. So, and so did the farm and every, all his dreams of it. So we moved away then back to Pennsylvania. Um, you know, you didn't get a, a solid face to face, but judging by what you saw, uh, how would you, How would you categorize it? Would you categorize it as some kind of ape creature or some kind of semi-human type creature?

20 Like I said, my brain says that it was a man dressed up in a monkey suit, but there would not be a man dressed up in a monkey suit. What would be another logical explanation besides for a Bigfoot, which is considered a mythical creature like a dragon? you know, I mean, everybody has their beliefs. I think there's still hidden species out there, obviously, you know, they still find them every day, but you know, until you actually see one, you know, it'd be the same way. If a dragon flew and landed on your porch, you would just be befuddled. You'd be beside yourself, you know, really contemplating, is this real or not? But what I did see that day was it was, it was very scary. And I'd, you know, it's a, it's a, my, my mind recorded it very well and didn't add anything to it. It just like my, it was either a Bigfoot or a man dressed in a monkey suit and there would not be, and that's a lot, a logical explanation because there, there would not be a man. What would a man be doing during, you know, buck season in, ohio running around the woods in a monkey suit you know 20 miles off the paved road it just doesn't happen.

43 Yeah logically it doesn't make sense to get taken out yeah right right yeah wow uh i appreciate you coming up and talking about that i know that's hard to talk about uh i appreciate you sharing about what you experienced. Yep cool man i appreciate it and thank you for what you do. Absolutely. You have a great answer. You do. Hey, Robert, thanks for coming up. Well, you had something happen in the Forks area. So, yeah, feel free to share what you experienced, man. So this was February, a couple early 2000s, 2010s.

24 I was staying at the Quail Ute Lodge, and I wasn't even thinking about Bigfoot. I was up there doing some fishing. If you're familiar with the Line Decker area, it's where the Quail Ute comes off the Pacific, and the Bogoshield River and the Sawduck River come to a head right there, and there's a big hole that it makes. Anyway, I was sitting there fly fishing, and next thing you know, I smelt like what smelt to me like a big fish kill upriver from me. But there wasn't a whole lot of fish carcasses. On the bank. And then I'm looking. I'm like, oh, man, that log's moving. I'm like, that's kind of weird. I'm like, oh, my eyeballs are playing tricks on me because I've been staring at the water, right?

08 Then I look again, and I'm like, that thing is definitely moving, right? Well, the day before I was driving around, I ran into a huge herd of the Roosevelt trophy elk that are out there. So keep fishing. I turn around. That log is gone. It's no longer there. I didn't report it to the BFRO or anything, but I got curious. There was a sighting that was reported to the BFRO on the same day in the same area as I was at. This is the first time I've actually got this out there. Whoa, that's wild. Oh, wow.

54 Same exact day, same exact area. Yeah, and what I think it was is he was following that herd of elk. Because when I came up on him, there was elk in there that were as big as my damn suburban. Darn suburban. Yeah. Whoa, man. What county is that again? Forks, Clallam County? Trying to find uh let's see february. 19th 18th 17th and i think it's a class a or class p siding in the forks area. They're driving along the highway there. Okay very very interesting so uh log on the ground Yeah.

41 It looked like it, and it was a red-haired one. When I went back to the resort, the Quileute Lodge there, I'm like, we don't have brown bears out here, do we? I'm like, not that. They said, no, we have black. I've never seen brown or red like that on a bear, and I spent a lot of time in the woods. So at the time that you saw it, it was a reddish-looking log then? Yeah, about the size of a small two-door Ford Ranger. Like, that's what, it was big. Oh, man. Yeah, that's massive.

23 But it's just the thing, you know, and I've heard this so many times where it's like people don't realize what they're looking at until it's gone, you know? Right. Like I said, I was casting in the water and looking at the water. I thought my eyeballs were playing tricks on me Cause you know, I'm standing in the river and the water is moving at my feet. If you're a fisherman, you know what the smell of a fish kill smells like, and you know what to look for. And there was hardly any carcasses. You know, even though it happened a while ago, it may, it may be worth it to, to fill out, um, that report on, on BFRO just cause they've had, you know, they've had multiple things happen there recently in that area.

07 I don't know if you've been keeping up to date with it. Uh, not really. I haven't been out there. Uh, actually I was out there a few weeks ago, but that was just to go out to Nia Bay just for S and G's. Okay. Yeah. There was a daylight sighting about 10 miles South of Forks on, uh, I think it was, yeah, 10-13, so just a few weeks ago. Yeah, well, this time of year, if they're following the elk around, I mean, it's pretty common. Are there certain areas where the elk tend to hang out out there? Really not too far away from the road, actually, and up by the hostel. If you're familiar with the area, you know what I'm talking about.

51 Okay. Interesting. So that could actually be very helpful for people that were looking for Sasquatch in that area to realize, hey, maybe I need to be aware of where the elk are going to hang out. But I don't think many people make that connection. Right. Also, the Olympic Project out of Belfer, they do a lot of stuff out there, too. Oh, yeah, yeah. Good point. Yep. Those are good guys. Good guys and gals. Definitely. Wow. Yeah, one of my buddy's brothers is actually a part of that group. I'm not going to name drop or anything, but he knows who he is.

34 That's awesome. They're all really good guys. I've talked to most of them. They're great. Wow. Have you heard of anything lately in your area? Any people that have had sightings? No, I actually moved out of that area. Now I'm up in Snohomish County and... Two Septembers ago, I went out to Marble Mount and kept going outside of Marble Mount when all the wildfires were going on, because I figured Sasquatch has two ways to go, either north or south, and where the wildfires were, if he was heading south, he'd be heading into residential. So I went up into the north, and I believe I found a structure. Oh, really? Wow, what did it look like?

18 Almost like. The typical sass lot structure that was there and then dismantled a little bit. Okay. Like it was a spot to bed down real quick and then get out of there the next morning or daylight. Okay. Nice. Good stuff. Well, man, Robert, it sounds like you are in some cool areas, but thank you for connecting one-on-one for a few minutes to share what you experienced back then. No problem, man. My first time ever doing this, so thank you. All right. Good stuff. Thanks again, Robert. Yeah. If you've got any more questions, just look me up. All right. Thank you. And if I go out to that spot anytime soon, man, I'll let you know. You're more than welcome to tag along.

01 Yeah. Can you send me an email at bigfootsociety at gmail.com just so I have the record of it? Yeah, no problem. Yeah, that'd be great. Thanks so much. But yeah, thanks for the offer as well. Well, I hope you have a fantastic weekend and enjoy the rest of your day, buddy. You as well, friend. Bye. All right. Thank you. Bye. Hi there. Thanks for coming up. Feel free to share what was experienced, if you don't mind. Sure. All these stories that I used to hear, I used to camp with my uncle in a place called Bear Valley, Idaho. It's a little north of Loman, Idaho, near the Sawtooth Range. Pretty good elevation. We just called it the high country.

42 And he had told stories about seeing Bigfoot for years and never believed him. And his first one was him and another uncle of mine used to camp up there all summer. And the first story he ever told me was there was some fairly recently planted, you know, 20-year-ago trees that were about 8 to 10 feet tall. He swore up and down. He saw eyeshine when a car was going on the main drag through the valley. It's just basically a big valley surrounded by mountains, meadow valleys. The second time, probably two miles from there, it's a place, it's called Bruce Meadows Airport. It's a forest service airstrip. And they saw one, there was some hunters in there. I think they were just doing like a pre-hunt, whatever, scouting deal on horseback.

36 And he said, he watched what he said was Bigfoot walk out of the clearing. I mean, this is wide open, which is crazy to me, but he's, watched him walk across the meadow, and to them, him and my other uncle, they swore up and down that he was every bit as tall as a. Man on horseback. So the guys on the horseback, there was about four of them, were probably three, four, they were quite a ways away, but they saw it and got to their horse trailer. He said they didn't saddle up the horses, anything. They loaded up and got out of there. And he also said that a Jeep coming by had stopped and they were hollering, hooting and hollering, and they had seen it too. But the last one was, he used to go up there. He's been up there since the forties. They, him and my family members snowshoed in there. So the guy, it's one of those places where he gets under your skin.

34 You can't get away from, you just got to go there all the time and stay there. I got it. And he was in there by himself and, he, to kind of preface the story, he was getting close to dying and I wanted to spend, you know, a few nights in there as a last gasp type of deal, you know, for old time's sake. And he flat refused to go in. And I was just shocked that he would not go into Bear Valley again, even in the daylight. And I was like, oh, why? I mean, you've been going in there for 50 years. Why wouldn't you go now? And his last deal was, He was camped, and both of these, there's two incidents that were in the dark, and the one during the day was the one where it walked across the meadow. But anyways, he woke up to, he said it was about three o'clock in the morning, and just sounded like somebody beating on a baseball bat, a tree, you know, with a baseball bat. And he said it was so unbelievably loud He just couldn't believe.

42 How loud it was. And he said it was coming from the left of his camp and to the right of his camp. And he packed up his gear and hightailed it out of there at four o'clock in the morning, which is something this guy would never do. You know, he he's been up there for ever. And I think what made me actually believe that he wasn't full of it was the fact that he absolutely refused to go back and he never went back again. He's, probably lived he ended up living probably 10 15 years after that that last incident but he all of his life it was just amazing to me that he would not go back. What a way to to share the the hair you know the heritage of history of of your relative thank you for sharing those accounts um Man, I just can't imagine.

35 It sounded like they kind of had his camp surrounded almost. You said it was to the left and to the right of it. Yeah, that's what he swore up and down. There was more than one whatever it was he said. I just find it interesting. It spooked him enough to never go back. I mean, this is a man's man. I know it's happened to other people too where there's no way they're going to go back. So it's just interesting. Absolutely. Well, Thank you for conveying what was conveyed to you. I really appreciate it. It helps fill in some areas for sure. Right on. Thanks for having me. I appreciate it. Yes, sir.

16 Take care. Hey there. Thanks for coming up. Feel free to share what you encountered there. So it was wintertime. I was up in the mountains of Idaho. And it was falling snow fresh. And a friend of mine and I had decided, it was like 2 a.m., he had just gotten off being a bartender, and we were gonna go up to the hot springs and sit in the hot. Water for a while. And so we traveled up to the top of this mountain, and as we were driving, we were the only tracks on the road, because it was all about two or three inches of brand new fresh snow. Nobody had been driven on that road.

57 And all of a sudden, out of the middle of the forest came tracks And they walked down the center of the highway in kind of like a curvy zigzaggy like motion for about a mile. And then they disappeared back into the trees again. And I mean, it was up in the middle of nowhere. There's no houses up there. There's no no anything. And so it's like, why would have somebody, you know, come out of the trees, walk down the center of the highway and then disappeared back into the trees again? And we were going it was uphill that we. Were driving and we were afraid to stop and go and measure the tracks because we didn't think we'd get started again and then when we got to the top of where we needed to turn to go to the hot springs um there had been an avalanche And so we didn't get to go to the hot springs anyway and had to turn back around and go back. But yeah, they looked like they were large footprints, but we didn't get out of the car to measure it.

57 But I mean, there's nobody up there. Were they, excuse me, were they one after each other or were they side by side? Well, it was, it was like somebody was walking. It was one set of footprints and they were walking and they were really big, big steps, you know, between the foot, the feet steps. They were spaced far apart. I have no question in my mind that it was not a human being's footprints. No question. That kind of stuff, it makes you wonder. You probably made the wise choice not stopping because that kind of thing, it is hard to get started again.

43 You said that was in northern Idaho? That was actually in Um, south central kind of Idaho. It was northeast of Boise. It was up by Idaho city and Loman. Okay. Was that in, um, that the Boise national forest, uh, like sawtooth area? Um, either that or it might've been Frank church. I'm not sure it's right. Okay. Frank Church might be a little bit further north. But Loman is where the hot springs were. And so we were going from Idaho City to Loman. Wow.

23 That's very, very interesting. We just had someone talking about the Sawtooth area earlier. So, man, that's very interesting. Thank you for coming up and for sharing about those tracks that you saw. Yeah, not a problem. Thanks for having me. If you've had a Bigfoot encounter of your own, I would love to hear from you.
