Bigfoot was Attacking the Family Farm in 1975!

He's from Louisiana and he had reached out to me after hearing the podcast and wanted to share what he experienced in his own life quite a while ago.

0:55 But Steve, how are you doing today, sir? I'm doing good. Just an old fella sitting on my back on my front porch in the woods. So yeah, I'm fining watch sticking the ring out here, but that's okay. It's a year. You are a way out there in Louisiana, corics, I'm the way out in the woods. Yes, serve southwest Louisiana was from everybody. I love that. That sounds great to me. But so we were talking before, and you have had back in the seventies, you had a really interesting thing happen, and I would love if you'd be able to share with my listeners what you experienced on the farm that day.

1:41 Sure you know, I uh, I'm sixty eight years old and this happened when I was nineteen nineteen year old soldier in the military, and all those years, you know, you have a traumatic experience that sticks in your mind and you remember details and it's like it yesterday, and it's kind of like flat spec going back. And I know being in the military, uh, you know, in combat situations, I things that stuff with me since I you know those points too. So but yeah, I uh, And it's almost gives me kills to this day even talking about it, because I guess the best way to start it. I didn't believe in these things. I didn't believe in these creatures. I didn't believe these things existed. I was your basic you can't see it, can't touch it, can't feel it, it don't exist type of person. And I always been that way. And uh, uh so this was a game changer for me. And I learned something very special on this that not everything we're taught in public school is reality. Uh there are things that are not taught or are taught that are not real. And this is in our face type of situation when it does pop up, if that makes any sense. Okay, Back in nineteen seventy five, I was PCs from Fort Bane, Georgia and down to Fort Poke, Louisiana, first first Infantry Battalion and uh I, I mean a few of the rangers

3:14 came down from uh from uh Benning and the startup we're reactivating first Sea First. Uh. I had a good friend of mine that I was stationed with, and he was from Arkansas, and uh so, one weekend he said, hey, he said, uh, look, why don't you come over and spend the weekend with my family over there my farm. It's kind of out in the woods, you know, outside about you know, west west of Camden, Arkansas, which was a small town back in seventy five, and uh, I said, sure, anytime, you know, anytime you can get off, I'll post on weekends you want to go because we may have special detail. They're gonna call you if we're still there. So got my made myself stairs quick. So I went with him and went up there and uh, men his family and there's an old farm out there in middle of nowhere.

4:05 I mean it was miles outside of a Canden out there in the woods, and you like wrestled between. Later on, I found out between Canden and falk Rocket Creek area and I keep far from there and uh but any case, uh, the farm was about two hundred creeky acres. Uh and met his his his brother and his sister. Of course his sister and he became an item. We used started, you know. I started going there to see her and sat him and uh you know, uh so I got buddy Buddy was his daddy pretty good and uh, I means the we go ahead and I helped them build fans and tended the cat on the things on the farm. I love that kind of thing. Well, there's one sort of a weekend. It was a red drimicky thing. I would you know, every weekend, you know, and as they had dude or something. Uh there's one particular weekend in June.

4:58 Uh we got up there. U it is boiler drives from a post team of the farm and uh so and uh so her grain the grainy and had made dinner and she could cook. That woman could make some fried chicken. This makes you want to bust your socks. And uh so we ate when he head and hunkered down and then watched TV about nine thirty that night, and she was in the green, he was in the kitchen washing dishes. We were all hunkered down again, and all of a sudden she screamed. And when I say screamed, I mean it ran through it penetrated through the walls like somebody has put a butcher knife in her back.

5:38 And that old cabin house, it has been one hundred years old or older. Uh. We all jumped up ran and he can hear it's not like the whole house pit the fall apart. Allus running like a stampede going through this wooden floored house, you know. And we ran through that out the first one in the kitchen and got to the door in the kitchen and almost cut a loop over green and she was on the floor on her behind end, and she was pointing towards the kitchen window over the saint and she was just yelling, I seen it again. I seen it again. And she was frank. Well, I was saying to my military mind, and she's seen an intruder, someone trying to break in. So that's what I'm thinking. Evidently her family knew different.

6:19 No one let me in on the idea with what was going on. I just thought it was an intruger. Well, herd said, you know, arm up, So we all grabbed rifles and shotguns off the racks in the hallway. They were all hunters like I was. We love to hunt, so uh, and we wound up went out back and going back on the back of the house. She came down the stairs and it was out there in the back porch. Came out to the old pasture back there, and uh, this house, this farm house will probably about a couple of miles away from the next home, the next house out there, so it's pretty desolate. Uh. My girlfriend and her mama stayed inside with grain and go ahead and tend to her because she was pretty ship out the boat. Her two brothers went to the right mean and Daddy went to the left, and we figured we split up and took them on the ground going out there. I didn't want to. I'm gonna paint the picture for you here best I can, so you can understand. It was a very bright moon night that night, very bright, you know, not how bright the moon can get.

7:18 It's like daylight. You can see almost you can see across the pasture, you can see everywhere. I mean they got details and everything. Very bright moon, and I've seen the cattle across the pasture. They were all hunkered up together the falling of the pastor and they were cutting up well. Of course in all country board that pretty much significant. It means that you know, there's the truth, there's a predator out there, that's why they do that. Well. I figured I could have been a Kyle, It could have been a Bobcat, you know, no big deal. What did catch my attention was set the first clue off to me that what we're going after is and just your every day in Truder was in the three hunting dogs he had. He had three big old blue ticks and these were trained to run deer. I mean they were they were hunting dogs, and uh, they always cut up all the time. But they were under the porch and they were whining. They were scared to death. That caught my attention. Now I'm thinking, wait a minute, this ain't doing Trader, because it was there in Trader. Them dogs be cutting up all through the woods. You'd heard them cross the state cutting up. They're under the house whining.

8:25 They're scared what in the world, and scared trained hunting dogs. So now I'm really on edge my hair and I'm back in the next standing and I ain't got much hair in my head being you know, tell you. So I'm following Bobbie ray And which was her daddy, and I was following him. I said, uh, what about the dogs. He said, don't worry about that. Stay close behind me. He knows what's going on. I don't. He don't letting me in. And I said, by the way, what we're going after? He said, stay close behind me. We're going towards the corner post. You know, there's a corner post. We had just built this fence. Okay, up months earlier. We had built this fence and it was a divider fence from the main pasture, you know, fifty acres swunk that the head because the two hundred and fifty acre uh bron like I said, fifty acres of it with bad swamp, real thick body everything. He didn't want his cattle going in there. So we built that fence and about it. It was made out of four foot cattle panel and you put a sretch of bob wires about five foot high. And uh so, as we're coming to the corner post, maybe about ten foot from it, and all of a sudden, we caught a stanch, I mean a rough. It was. It was, it was. It was a bad stance here. It was like some guy. And then all of a sudden, that's when the world came alive, all of a sudden in the thicket of us oude of the fence right in front of us. And now you could we couldn't see it because it's so thick, but we can go ahead and hear the rustling. It was like a two thousand ton of rhino just turning and burning his stale thicket. Rambs are snapping and breaking,

9:56 and leaves is crunching, all kinds of stuff going on, all kinds of racket. Then all of a sudden, at this point right here and It's gives me chills even saying this man. I'll tell you what this old man here about. At this point is when my whole world changed. This is when everything I was taught to believe and Whinney fell apart. This thing jumped over the fence. It was in wrestling. I'm thinking it come over the fence, want to leave. I'm a five foot fence. And it landed in that pasture right in front of us, maybe twenty five foot, I bieb. We measured twenty five foot the next day and pulled it recon become the tracks.

10:38 And when it landed down in the in the pastor, it stood up, and I slowed this down for y'all to go ahead and give ya the picture. Okay. It's all happened in a matter of about twenty seconds, but I'm slowing it down so i'd give you the picture. Okay. It was quite a down when it maned in the pastor, it stood up. It stood up, and it stood up flank of us, Okay, around me, saying by flank, we were looking at it. It was facing to our right, so we're looking at his right profile. It stood up. And then also when it did that, it was like it took forever stand up. This thing had been everybody foot tall, maybe nine foot I'm guessing at eight. It was covered in dark hair, long stringy hair. It had a man's profile. We can see that in the moonlight.

11:27 It wasn't a bear. The first thing hit my head was bear. But then I thought, wait a minute, it ain't no bear that big in Arkansas. And it didn't have a bear has a smell. This didn't have a smeout. It had a man's profile. I mean man's lips. I mean now, I mean the whole nine yards. But it was covered in hair. It had long arms. Those arms went down almost to his hands, almost to his knees. He had big hands, long fingers, I mean big hus hands. So I knew it was in the barrel, hamd fingers and had hands falls. But they're standing straight up. What's on the again? My mind's on the process. This as with a bear, because I've seen bear, you know, many bears, and gravely as I've seen black bears. They all stand up like a man, and they can walk a man.

12:11 You know. Well, this thing stood straight up and then when it ran, and when it did that, it ran away from us. Didn't try to aggress us, didn't try to attack us. It ran away from us, which is the only reason why I had a twelve gage and her daddy had a four to ten, only reason why I didn't go ahead and download. I mean, if it hadn't grassed us, unloaded and reloaded, unloaded again. But it didn't. It ran from us, and we watched it run across the pastor a lot of track. Stop again, another indication that was no bear. Because the bear can't run like a man. It can't run two legs. It has falled all fours. It could walk on two legs, but it can't run legs. Rupture more allowed to so in no time did it falls all fours. It ran across that hundred yard pastor straight like a man, swinging on and everything.

13:00 I mean, the hold on your When it ran across there, there's a cattle gate we had built. It's meant an oak two by sixes and nothing about oak. It's not not a light wood. It's heavy and it's a hard wood. And it crashed to that cattle gate and it shredded it. You hear me, It shredded it like it was a D nine dozer. Now again. We can say it all the way out. Now, we always go into my head. You know, was a guy in a suit. There ain't no guy I know to run two bout six oaks in saturday. Ain't happening, son. I mean, you know, a refrigerator you know, couldn't do that. So this is you know that? My I mean, what world? When he crashed through that thing? Now, of course we didn't follow him past that. That's what scared the fire out of us.

13:49 H when it did that and then it hollered, it roared. It made a huge roar, and it felt like a lion or something, and ended like an elephant. I mean, it was the weirdest lill I ever heard. Just ge me chills. Well by that time, that's when her brothers come around the other end. They said, hey, did you hear that? Did y'all hear that? I said, here, we don't see the damn thing? Well, y'all said, I said, yeah, it comes to the candidates. So we none of us didn't go over there and chase it. Well, okay, so we figured next day we go ahead and look back to the tracks and everything else. But we sat outside for a few minutes trying to cool down because I'm talking about heart to race and that now adrenaline is pumping. Well, I mean where I mean, I had a Cammrad daddy down.

14:32 He was going crazy and uh so uh we sat here and I mean he's only her to pry uh And he said, I don't know what to do. I don't know what do How do I protect my family from this? It comes around every once in a while. I said, you've seen this thing before. He said, yes, it comes around every once in a while, and it's never tried to break in the house and always looks in in the window. Maybe it's her look, maybe that draws it to it, and it's curious looks in the window at her. I don't know. Which answered my question why we saw went in the kitchen. When she was yelling that, she kept saying she's seen it again, so evidently it was repeated me and he of course put the cap on that one. He said, yes, comes around every once in a while. I don't know what to do, and he was he was. I said, well, we need to go ahead and you know, call call the state, you know, fisheries or something, you know, game control. He said, oh, no, no, no, no, I don't want no outside outsiders coming in here. This is a small, you know community out here that time, Campbell was very small. He said, people will start calling us crazy if they if we I don't want no one else knowing about this. He said, Promise me you will want to talk about it. Well, I'm a soldier, Yeah, yeah, no problem. I mean, body, I won't talk about it, you know, I keep my mouth shut. And so we went up. Her oldest brother was about six foot four, and I said, hey, look, I said, let's go over

Now houses up on pilings if they lived not too far from a river, and evidently every once in a while mats run out. It'll get so they had the house up on pilings, and I said, look, I said, you six foot four, I said, raise your hand a pie as you can and see if you can reach that winter you know. Well he did, and I reckon that six foot four four arms stretched, his fingertips reached it up close about eight foot I'd see maybe seven seven foot and he barely can have set his finger kIPS, being tomby seven foot up there he can barely go ahead and touch the body room of that kitchen window, which put in perspective, and whatever looked in that window, it hadn't been eight foot tower or taller. So now you know, we're trying to put the puzzle together a little bit. Well, once we went ahead and calmed down and I got Bobby calmed down, I said, look, okay, we went to side and went a had made some coffee.

17:18 At that time. Graining was kind of you know, she was kind of calmed down a little bit, so we all kind of sat down and just kind of little group. So I was with Graining trying to find out. You know, I said, when you see this thing's face, what look like? We've seen its profile, we see nobody we know, we know what we've seen, but we didn't see its face straight on. What what did you see? What look in the window at you? She sad, I've seen this face very well, I've seen it many times. And I said, what it looked like? She said, like a huge man's face. It almost looked the whole window. And she said it had rough skin, her hair around its face, but not on its face, if that makes sense, and huge nose and it had big red glowing eyes. And I said, well, you know, so that just threw me for a way.

18:08 I've never heard about the red eye thing. You know, that's that he was back in seventy five. So, you know, I'm thinking, normally, I'm thinking about lating to the vampires on the moving so wow, well she was, she was a they were, they were strong Pentecostals, and uh you know, she was thinking, you know, I don't know if this thing's evil or what you know. And I asked a few questions. I said, well, Bobby said, I never heard of break in the house. She said, no, it never has heard to break in the house. It never tried to attack anybody. And so she said, We've never had any problem with that. And the only destruction that's ever done was, of course, that same night went broke to the candidate. Uh So we set up half coffee. The rest of the night, no one slept. Everyone was too wired.

18:58 And I'm talking about we were. There's no way there was a sleep after all that. And uh so when it got daylight, we decided to pull a rout time. Of course, the girls were standing. They didn't want to go out there. So Grinnie and my girlfriend and her mama stayed in the house, so me and the brothers and Eddie went out there and we started back at the point of Lords and where the creature falks first jumped over the dividing fence and the swamped to the pastor. We fell on the tracks where it landed right there, big old footprints right there, and then of course it ran across the past and h Yeah, it was gentinitely heavy to the way it swunk down in that dirt, I mean in that grass. It was heavy. So we figured it had it being looking at it as muscular and power and powerful it was built. It hadn't been probably six maybe seven hundred pounds, as well as being eight foot taller dollar many cases. It jumped that fence, it cleared that fence, that fire foot fants cleared the barb wide, no hair nothing on that original fancould jump.

20:03 And then when we follow the footprints crossed the pasture by one hundred yard pastor, and I was on the footprints followed them. I can cut, I can cut by foot. I got and my my feet I was size kin I put here or toe in one print. My toes would go over, but the rest of my my first foot and most of my my my right foot were in that print. So we figured about seventeen inches eighteen inches long on the footprints would be consistent with something the size of what we're seen. Uh. We went down to of course, fall down to the cattle greet where it was broken, shuddered, shattered. Two by six ers were shattered and broken, the bob wire was broke. We found blood on the bob wire hair. All that now under staying this is the seventy five. This is long before computers and cell phones. We didn't have that back then.

21:07 So back then, you know, we were just it was. There was no actual scientific DNA testing back then, that kind of stuff, so we never fired by clicking the hair and the blood or anything else. So it was to this day I wish we would have, you know, but it would have been amazing bunting case. The power of this thing going through that category did two things. Number One, it pulled the force that pulled the corner post. The corner post is made out of a cutdown telephone pole something about five foot deep in the ground. It jerked it and laid it down. You didn't break it. It jerked it over and laid it down. Do you have any kind of idea of the force it would take to do something like that. That's tremendous amount of force.

21:57 Not to mention, about twenty foot to the left of that cattle gate was a squeezeheet for those who want to know what a squeeze shoot is. Uh. And when people who have cattle, you know, uh, you know they have a squeeze shoe spe shoot, they run the cattle through it when they work in their cattle, they squeeze it down. It squeezes down around the cow or the bowl holds it in place where you can go ahead and tag it, clip their horns, whatever you want to do. Uh. And uh, the whole lot usual to manage. Well, that's an iron cage and it done, it done, bent those bars. I'm talking about just then amount of all to say again, it's then it's mental force. So this is like a bottle of my mind. Then after it went on down, how did that went on? And we went into a huge, huge uh uh saw tooth brier patches. It's none of the sayers there and we wasn't about to go through there and follow it, you know, traction further.

22:56 Uh. That just went on Tenny into the woods after that. So after all that, we went back and sat down house, and of course Bobby went and and please don't talk about this to anybody. I don't want. You know, we've got to reputation. You know. We bring our produced to town and we go ahead and sell it there, and if the work gets out, people think we're crazy. We'll just lose our business and everything. I said, Man, don't worry. I will not go ahead and mention the thing. And we didn't. When me and her brother went back to the post. You know, we never talked about it, not even amongst ourselves. In the following weekends that I went, Uh went there, we never talked about it. We can get over there. It's like it never happened. Bobby didn't bring it up. We didn't bring it up. And that was it. It was taba. We didn't even talk about it.

23:47 And the following weekends after that that I went there, I never seen it again. Now did it come around during the week when I wasn't there, I don't know. They never said and I didn't ask. But the weekend is after that I was there, Uh, we never saw I never saw it again. But it was always on my mind. And so when I was, I guess so shocked at this that I decided to go ahead and just keep it locked up inside of me. And I did. And I came out of the military in eighty one and came back, you know, and overseas, and of course overseas, I came back, and I came back here in Louisiana.

24:35 I went ahead and I buried myself and get a part of the woods I could find, which I did, and met my wife and then the phone and got married. We got me out here in this woods. Out didn't know nowhere. It's almost seven miles my back door through the woods to the next house. I live in a small, hilarious, small community in southwest Louisiana. And so, uh, my first time I I ever talked about it. Well, I didn't. Through my whole career law enforcement never even talked about it. People I talked to who did see these things, I just I would encourage them. I said, yeah, I mean, you know, I don't think you're crazy, and you know, I want you to know I believe you. But I wouldn't tell them. Why I wouldn't tell Marion County. I wasn't writing to you. I kept in inside me for all the years, over forty five years. Well, then one day I hung off of the woods and of course my wife's uncle, my hunting buddy. He was older than I was, and so uh one I told my said, uncle Lewis. I said, I'd still hunt more din to cook the creek, which was about ten miles from here.

25:43 And he said, no, no, no, I don't go there. I'm not going to go there. I've been there in years. And I said, well, because maybe because the train was pretty rough over there, which it was. He said, no, it'sout the train. He said, I've seen something there years ago and I ain't never even back and it's back in the fifties. And I said, whoa. So I said, what do you see? I ain't telling you. I ain't even talk about it because people I'm crazy. I ain't telling my family. He said, your wife don't know. That was his neat. So I kept on, you know, maybe it's a law enforcement in kept going bugging I'm about it. So he finally come out and said all right, uh, And I said, well, let me tell you mine kind of If I tell you this one for those maybe the kind of jolly memory of it didn't get you used up. So the first time in many years, I told him what happened to me in Arkansas, what I've seen, and it kind of felt good to get it off my chest and tell him that that old man over my fok down cried because I guess I ain't crazy there, and I said, no, sure, you're not crazy. He when he hadn't told me he's encountered, he's seen, and he was hesitant, but he did. And so when he said, you know, he saw a very similar creature to what I've seen, And of course there's several sightings out here, I've never seen him out here in Losing and I've lived out here in these back now, hunting these backwoods and these swamps out here for nearly thirty five forty thirty eight years. I've never seen a creature out here or I saw in Arkansas. I wish I can tell you I have, because people have seen them all around here.

27:13 I just have it. I never have, So I said, people tell me all the time, I waste you believe that you are. You can tell people you've seen one every day. I said, uh uh, I would I would kill my credibility. I'm not going to do that. I'll tell you what I see in Arkansas. That's it. I have not seen one sin I've never seen one again, and I don't want to see one again, no desire to. I have all I respect in the world for people who go out there and hunt these things now and want to find out the reality of them, and they want to hunt them as far as you know, learning more about them and everything else and try to find one or whatever. That's fine. Don't blame me with you because I won't go. I don't want to. I do not want to see one again. That that rather on my cage, because it showed me that there's things living in this world that where not bost we were taught don't exist, but they did. And before I seen that creature, I arg some one around if they said they saw one, I'm gonna leave that in line. Now, are you in the ground telling you they do exist? If you say, don't you for an argument, because I won't. I under stand my ground. I know they exist. I've seen this, no doubt, and uh, but I never seen when out here losing and I've hunted all these woods out here now It's always in my mind, you know. I did one podcast. One of the guys that asked me, he said, well, do you ever think about it when you go hunt?

28:35 And I said, every every time I go out in these woods, I think about it, cause I hunt myself a lot, and uh, you know, I don't know. Uh, And then maybe they're lucky at me, but I've never seen one that since I've been out here. And of course there's about forty five miles north of me is a town called zoo wally In Museum. Of course, the mayor, I said, well, they called to bfrou here's years back because all the people in that area, that town were seeing the farmers out there were seeing these creatures and they so many sightings that he called the b FRL And actually that show Finding Bigfoot came out there, did a series or the Mony out There Shill out there in Ziwali a few years back, because there were so many sightings and it ties into Kasati National Forest, which is where when I was in the military at Fort Police training out in that area called peace On Ridge that was part of the Kasati and CASA's a forwards to six hundred and six, six hundred one thousand over six hundred thousand acres. It's huge. And there's been multiple sightings out there of these creatures and so so that that's just uh. But I just never I never have seen one out here in Louisiana. And if I ever did, I mean people tell me and go get you can go out there behind your house and use some dream dot Are you crazy? I don't want to see one again.

30:02 I'm looking call one up, so not sir, and uh. But in any case, this was something that just I guess, uh, you know, to this day I stayed just just amazed at it because I have to pinch my skin and say, you know, did I really see what I saw? And I did? And these things are coming out more and more now they are people are singing more and more now. But my my my answer for that, and I be one hundred percent wrong, is my answer for it. My philosophy.

30:42 Because we're clear cutting, you know, we're clip cutting now people are we're going out there, we're cliar cutting this lamb. We're taking all these for us out, taking out their habitat. So naturally there's being is becoming more sightings. Now these creatures have less areas to hide in. And you know, I believe they're half part human and part animals. It is the reason I'll say that, because they're very smart and being half that, being half human half animal gives them the ability to be the perfect creature because they have the human ability of reasoning. If they're part human and that's dangerous.

Or you know, a couple that with with the uh the sixth sense of an animal and the agility and the speed of a bobcat, you know, and answers why they move so fast of course of their size, what they do and how fast they go, but also they have that natural camouflage of an animal. And people ask me all the time, you know, I got several calls from people on the podcast asking me, you know, what's your philosophy on that?

32:10 Why do you think they you know that? And the how they can camouflage themselves so well? I said, easy. Anyone who's a gear hunter, squirrel hunter will tell you this. You can walk through the woods and I've been an added gear hunter on my life. You know, a squirrel hunter, and you go through the woods. One of the biggest camouflage is that the ability of camouflage that an animal has and a gear or a squirrel isn't just melding into them the to the to the environment, you know, to the trees and such. It's standing still. We call it freeze frame. If you're out there at a woodline, you're walking through a pasture, there's a woodline around, a creature, an animal, whatever can be at that woodline and stand still, not necessarily be hidden in the bushes or to leave, just standing still and you won't know it it's there because as humans, what do we recognize? We pick up things by movement. Okay, by movement. If it's out there in the woodline and all of a sudden you see it moved, now you got you can pick it up.

33:18 But if it stands still, you can't see it. Deer hunters, I mean, you walk through the woods and if a deer standing there and he's hunt it down on the bus you're not going to see them because they stay still a freeze frame. They don't move and we can't sense that until they move and break form. And in the military, they you know, I taught us the truth, the truth Uh, the value is camouflage. And what camouflage actually is is actually going ahead and blaming in new surroundings. That's what it is. You know, it's breaking up your form and blaming in new surroundings. That's what actual camouflage is. Hence, while they built, they designed the gilly seat in the military, you know, and so uh that's why they actually the military went to stages on their camouflage, fatigues and combat you know, your bed us and all that kind of thing.

34:06 They want a military they went to. Now they have My military today has those those digital uniforms. Now they actually are smaller forms of camouflage and they actually can stand you know, hide better, it blended better, and so that's you know what they have today. Fact when I was, they didn't have that, you know, he said, uh, in cotton fatigues. But in any case, so, uh, that's hotsilosity on that, you know what they caause I get all kinds of calls from people, Oh man, you know, what do you think about you know this, and how do you think they do that? Why don't I think they go ahead and they find bones anywhere and you know they probably burying their own. I'm sure, you know, I would think so. Uh, you know, I found here all my life. I can't ever tell you in the time that I never found a us in the woods now, I mean now they die out there. And if I get shot or by air or by a bullet and they run out there and no one ever finds them, they can't cut them down and they fall out and die. Yeah, but I've never come across the Gift Skelloton and I'll walk into the thickest parts of the woods, the swamps you can find, you know. And so I'm sure they're out there, but just hey, what happens and almost take them whatever happens over there in the time. But these punches here, I believe are they they climb trees, they get up to the tree tops and were looking at the bottom and ground floor, you know, looking around them and roots and looking down at the tree trunks and looking out around that area eye level. We don't think about, Hey,

35:39 they can be up to the tree tops and if they are, just what there you go, you know. So there's so many different things on that, But I'll tell you one thing. I do believe. I do believe they see that's before we see them lots of people out there who don't believe these things exist. I promise you, when they've got out in the woods, those creatures have seen them. They have seen the creature. But those creatures have seen them. And that's that's how these things are. I believe that one hundred percent. There, I'm said, they've seen me out here, and he's woods, so I had not seen them, you know, but I they've seen me, you know. So, But that's it right there. You know, it's kind of crazy. But uh, I mean, you know, things like that would just shake shake, shake you up, and you you think, wait, I find for my wife and my kids, you know, about when I started doing these podcasts and I said, look, I said, this is what I've seen. Now all I want to throw this in the next real quick. My son and oldest son, uh he knew, he said. He they both believe these things exist. They never seen one. My son in Tennessee, he said, this book Big Flip conference is all over Tennessee, he said, And you know, he's talked with several of his officers. He used to work for a share department, you know, and he said that they've seen them and you know out there, but in any case there you know, he came back here to lose in one time. He said, Papa, I want to take you over here to Valan Falkansas out to the Big Trip Museum. It's over there in

37:10 the falcon I never been there before, you know. This is why I learned how close falk was to that my my walle Intruifence farm. And so went there, met the owner it's a few years back, and talked to him. I told him my encounter and he said, wow. He said he's reading something. He said, you know, I've never seen one, but I haf heard him. And I got I've got recordings on my phone when I've been out here in the Bunny Creek area and out here folks swamp, and I've heard these things, and I want you to hear them. And I did. A couple of them didn't sound familiar, but one of them made my next stand up.

37:52 It was very similar to what I heard. And he said, he said, and you've seen this thing, uh on this side of Canda. I said, yes, sir, I said, you know, ten fifteen miles inside of Candy. He said, well, you know, candidates is down the road here. He said, so you're more or less you know, I believe you have seen the same thing, because that was seen here in seventy one in the Bunky Creek area. That's where no sighting started to be happening out here. And you've seen this a few years later in seventy five. It's down on the road. He said, they migrate. I believe you've seen something in the similars or not the same one won the same family. I said, well, I don't know. I can't promise swear to that, but I said it's very possible. I reckon being given the vicinity. And so he said.

38:37 He said, man, he said you ought to come out here sometime and go something. And he said, you know trips. They go on hunting trips for these things. I said, no, sir, that's where I drive the line. I have no desire to see one again. So did they have hunting trips or are they going on like expeditions expeditions hunt. When I say hunting, I'm not talking about hunting my weapons. I'm talking about, you know, far as you use the wrong word, telling my bad. But yeah, I mean because I wouldn't want anyone to hunt it. I mean as far as killing one. You know. I know I've asked me and asked, why did you carry your gun that night? I said, he armed up to it. I was an intruder, now I did. They knew what it was. But that and when I seen this thing, I said, if you did in, okay, some towards us, I wouldn't going to hit Now I was doing it, I wouldn't talk. Twice, I said, but it ran awayness And when it ran away from me, and that that gave me a I guess it almost a sense of humility, like this thing does not want to go in. It's not violent. I'm not going to sit there and shoot it, you know.

39:38 So no I didn't. And some pebody asking me I didn't succeed it, you know, I said, I'm not going to do that. That's not me. I mean, I believe I wrong pulling two reasons protecting the food and that was neither a reason to do that right there. He didn't attack us and I wasn't to eat it, so you know, so uh but no, I mean, yeah, I'm all behind people who going ex to the editions Old Boyhood does that podcast for? Uh what's the name? Sorry? Uh? Uh? I think it's it's sasquashed theory. He doesn't that one there. Yeah, yeah, he goes out there on on on this business all the time. Yeah, you know, and that's and that's great. I mean that is really good.

40:19 And uh so I said, man, I said, uh, and what kind of got me? Uh? What kind of got me? Uh thinking about you know, touching lives as far as helping people come forward with this. After I did that one with sasquath theory with Miguel, about four months later, he got a hold of me and uh, he said, hey, he said, you need to check. You need to check the question the comments here and everything. He said, we getting all kind of calls. And he said, brother, he said, look, he said, you would have got on this four months and only hit two hundred and forty five thousand views. And I said what, Yeah, he said yeah, he said, it's getting people asked questions. They want to go ahead and come forward with theirs. Now, I said, well great, So I started going back on there. They answered the questions and that's what that's where it started, that right there.

41:12 And you know that's why I said, I'm on a question now to help, you know, get people to go ahead and help them come forward with theirs, because I know how it felt to keep it in all those years. I wanted to say something, but not to you know, my wife would have called me crazy. My sons would have called me crazy. But they they they see the stuff in their lives, so they kind of, you know, pretty much, you know, I understand it, and of course they all believe you. But it's just h I get by the grace of God and go on. That's how I can say. Incredible. Yeah, did people need to realize how there are hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of people that have shared publicly what they've experienced, and so they're not just a singular person in a world where no one else has seen this thing. Just they need to you know, be able to realize they can step forward and share on a on a show like this or like Sasquatch theory, you know, on all the all those so in case people were a lot of people like to to know.

42:21 And we're not going to say like exact locations, but if someone was like so you're saying within like a fifteen mile radius of Camden, if someone has also had a sighting in there, then that's pretty close. I would say, so, yeah, I I already have people ask me about that, and yeah, I told them, I said, yeah, that area right there. And I've had Seba get a hold of me and say that they've been through that area before. They've had encounters out there, you know, but be the same one and my I don't know. But I mean I've had you know, truck drivers call me and say, hey, man, look you know so yeah, I mean that that's that's often saw the very h Louisiana is Arkansas really is. And you get up in that area, it's all woods. I mean it's thick, thick, thick, So I mean yeah, and so many sightings out there. Of course you're Louisiana. People don't think there's that many sightings lose in it. It's full. There's the signings, I mean, all of them losing. So I mean it's about a few miles from here. And and uh, you know, like I said, my wife, Uncle Sin went over there and and July not too far from here. Matter of fact, next week taking the Gunny kids to a big Foot festival and naked is losing us. So yeah, it's kind of cool. And then U uh so while black when that come out here do a little Him and a few others had come out here to do a little big Foot expo in Leesville, Louisiana. It's about thirty five

43:53 miles from here. And I asked him, I said, when you come back out here again? He said hopefully sometimes and he doesn't all over Texas and and uh so, uh, I say, come out here again, do that because it's I mean, it draws people out to get them to go ahead and really think about what's going on. You know, how do all these people know how to contact you? Well, they can get my email, uh, and they're more happy to contact me, and I you know, and I'll be more happy to share this with them and help them encourage them to come forward. What they can do is get get my email and uh it's Chico three three seven at nonho dot com. And uh, they can get a hold of me. And I'm more happy to help me where I can't anywhere I can to go ahead and encourage them to come out and come forward to contact you other podcasts and your head and say hey, look, you know people need to hear this, and you need to go ahead and get about the chest. You know, it's not you. I know what it feels like, you know, and I had another account. But in any case, there there's I didn't see anything. I didn't see that because sure this time I heard it, did not see it this time, but uh on this one pot.

Are you around the same area Monroe or. Okay, you know, Monreela stort to me, I'm in I'm in the southwest if you ever heard before of Lake Charles, Louisiana or okay, I'm I'm about forty miles north of Lake Charles and the nearest town to me he's about twenty miles away called Gator And uh so I'm actually five miles well actually about well eight miles from the Texas border and goes on into mine Worth, Texas, going toward Newton, Texas. Jasp Ye so but I might. Uh and in this area is rich with these with these sightings.

46:08 I mean it's just rich. And uh I've uh my brother in law, my uh my, my sister in law's husband. He he he told me one day he said, man, were sitting on my front ports and and he said, he said, he knows a construction company. He traveled all over the US building malls and hospitals and everything else. Very business. Mike Fella big for society will be right back after these messages.

46:50 And uh so he heard one of my podcasts and he said, man, he said that's really interesting. And he come out and he said, well, Steve, I won't tell you something he said. And I had an encounter keep and I like that him. I said, now you serious, And he told me I am twenty miles away from here, older damns his little creek back here at Slough and he was sitting traps back there, and he said he seen one ruined a good boat. But he said, he said, everyone out there in the in sense. And I said wow. And so I mean, I was like wow. You know, so people start it just helps them to open up. I don't talk about because he said, I don't tell nobody this.

47:33 Oh businessman, I can't afford to hurt my business. I said, I understand that, you know, and so I respect him for not, you know, wanting to tell all the people. But you know what thing about it is. Hell, he heard me come out of count and he encouraged him to come forward with his And that's the medicine right there. You know, So no doubt when when you and you can decline this if you want, but when you were in law enforcement and you said there you were in area where there are a lot of people coming forward with encounters and you didn't tell them yours. But is that something where you can share roundabouts where that area was that there are lots of people coming forward. Yeah. Yeah, that's up around the Oakdale area, going up towards Oakdale, Louisiana, which was it's going east, uh northeast and part of the state which also is part of Kasati National Forest. Uh because I have to say, Katie's huge and it's part of that because Fort Pope, it's all around uh Fort Pope and uh so yeah, that area there had several people, you know, tell me, hey, I've seen this thing, you know, just U my brother in law mother, brother in law, have three sisters in laws, so there their husband's hys get a hold. You want to hear something, and uh, you don't. He didn't. Don't believe anything existed either, if you believe my story. But he said, I don't believe it out here in Louisiana.

48:57 So he worked for an excurient m racing company rebug Extermination. I won't say the name of the company. But he was going through the woods over here outside the ritter And which was a very small town's riders maybe populace and eight thousand people, so it's very small. And uh we of the parish born in parish, one of the biggest parish is in Lose, you know. And uh so he was, you know, getting close to dusk and he was coming down side road to the woods, trying to hurry up to the house to go ahead and spray. And he said something was on the side of the road and it was like a huge hog. He saw. He follows a hog. At first he was covered in hair.

49:38 He said, hogs don't have hair, he said, And it stood up and he said it walked across the road and he almost hit it with his truck and he said that he wasn't such an rush. He just you know, kind of stopped and kind of see where it went to you. But he said it was like a man, a huge man that's covered in hair, and uh so, uh you know, he told me, he said, hey, I got to tell you about this man. He said, I think I've seen one. Well, you know what I'm telling you. There's sightings all around and so, uh Louisian is very. Rich in them, and it's uh so uh fascinating. Have I'm sorry being down there? Is that a bigfoot the only thing that's seen down there? Have you been getting stories of other things as well?

50:31 Oh? No, I've gotten several stories on the dog Dog band in Colic I've never seen one of them, but I've heard people, I thought people who have seen them. And I also had several stories. We called what we call him, Louisian Rigeroo is kind of like the cross beamed dog man with me in type of a creature. And I have talked to a few people that actually had seen down in South Louisiana these things, nor if you want to call it that, from a human team, these creatures, and I uh, I had a preacher's wife, a preacher's wife, tell me that's actually seem more do that it's called it and demon to Matthew mean preacher's but she didn't understand what it was. But it really worked from a human into a uh into I. Uh, I said, wow, you know, so I've never seen the dog man. I've never seen a ringer. I you know, they're thick all through South Louisiana and you're going towards around that Batteries New Orleans area, you know, grand Is and all that. You know, Uh, there's a lot you know, honey On Swamp and all that area there. Uh those are thick with with with with these uh these these creatures and uh so yeah, but I've you know, it's you come up this part of Louisiana, in Central Louisiana and in North Louisiana, there's just his many they're all through here, so you know, uh h it's very unique,

And uh then because Florida, you got them out there and they come skunk gapes out there and they see him out there way and so you know, uh, you know, I'm riving from grow up in southern California. They just go up there to to seventy valleys and when I was a kid going camping out there mountains up there, and uh, you know they have a statue of big foot out there. Of course, never I always laughed at it before I had my inten thought. You know, they don't exists. That's people's crazy, you know. But of course my perspective on that scenes. Uh, the reports of a dog man are those coming from the same areas that there's a lot of bigfoot reports coming from or do you find that they're from different areas.

52:50 No, they're they're all in similar areas. Yeah. Yeah. Uh. Now I said, I've never seen dog band myself. I h I don't don't doubt they exist. I mean, I know what bigfoot does. I don't doubt they exist. I'm sure they do. I I just never seen myself. But many people have seen these things. And that's kind of like what my my brother in laws thought he saw, you know, when it stet up on it and walked across the road on two p in front of his truck. You know, it might have been on a dog man or something. But I, you know, I don't know. He couldn't swear to what I you know, I don't know, but you know, there's lots of people claiming that, hey, they're seeing these things. Now what are they? I don't know, I mean highbred. I mean it can be anything, you know, Uh, you know, it could be anything. I mean, there's lots of hybrids out there of these creatures. Are different creatures out there and stuff. They're finding them all the time, and who knows what's going on?

53:50 Are there any theories or legends down there of why there could be different areas in Louisiana where you're seeing not only Bigfoot but also dog Man and probably other things. Well well exception of the fact that you have so much thick woods out here and swamps out here and everything. Uh. The you know, the people out here lives in are very you know, very very what's the word, I want to superstitious in a sense, you know, because this state is based on old France and beliefs and everything else, and so there's you know, boodoo and that kind of stuff you know, is more prevalent down South Zima and is around here. But there's still you know a lot of your old occasions and that kind of thing you believe in. You know, there's times to all that, and you know, we do have uh and I don't follow into it, but there we do have a lot of what they call devil wors. Devil wors out here. When I was working in law enforcement, we had to provide had to provide security because there there was a calls that they were going to go head and tag blonde hair, blue eyed girls at the high school problems. So we had to go provide security and uh uh you know for them. And uh that same evening we had found

55:21 several cows, freshly killed cows and they were all drained the blood and no eyes. Freshly killed but no blood, no eyes. Now that's when we were you know. Uh. One of my associates and he told me, he said, I think that's some devil works for doing this stuff and certain sabbaths and that kind of thing. They use that for the deal in it. And I will take I will tell you this. People associate these devils and stuff like that with drug heads and people living on you know, in a shacky apartment or something. No them. Some of the people are high up some of the community, high up leadership. And I know that for a fact, But like I say, uh so it's it gets pretty creepy.

56:12 But I think about that, but no, I will Loseinga's got so much lower you know about it and everything else. And it's a beautiful state. It's just got so much lower about it. And people wonder, you know, hey, you know, like I said, all these years later, when I go out hunting in the woods, I love hunting. You're hunting, squirrel hunting, hobbing. I go out in the woods even behind my house. You know, I wondered, hey, you know there's something out there, you know, and uh, you never know. One evening, Uh, this is about a year ago. My wife, you know, she's she believes my in Countess, he just doesn't believe these things are everwhere. But I was hunting.

56:56 I was out there hunting, and my stands about you about it quarter a mile behind my house, out in the woods and across the creek, and my wife. When I came back in, I heard something. I heard a going you know, through the woods and kind between me and the house. And I don't know what that was. I didn't see anything, but I just heard it. So I came back from hunting and I sitting down putting, well it's done up, and she came to me says, hey, I heard this looking sound behind the house. And I said, you heard it, and I said, he goes yeah, I said I heard it when I was on the stand. So you know, she was scared and everything. So I had to go out there for turpis and turned dark and I went out to the flashlight looking. I didn't find any tracks or anything. You know, I don't know what it was. It wasn't no hoodal. I know that I don't know what that was because there ain't a whole lot of things that looked like that in the woods.

57:49 But so I'm not saying it was a big foot. I don't know. I didn't see it, she didn't see it. We just heard it. But it makes you sure. Oh it opens your eyes, you know, and like I say, uh, you know, it opens your eyes and makes you think. And I worked with several officers that that you know, have seen these creatures, and you know they don't want to talk about it, but you know they vincent it to us, and you know, me and the partner, and that's it, you know. And so me, I'm retired already. I'm old. I'm retired. I'm not worried about it. I don't. I don't you know care people think I don't care about that, you know. So, Steve, I have I have one more question for you, and thank you so much for for hanging out.

58:35 Uh. So, you mentioned in your original story that the bigfoot there never went inside the house. Over your years through law enforcement and just living in certain areas, have you ever heard any stories of bigfoot actually going in the houses of people. I never have. I never heard of one going ahod and im breaking one's house. Gotch cool? I mean, you never know. Sometimes those stories get hidden and you just kind of ask some people to see if they come out. But uh, man, Steve, it has been just such a fun time chatting with you. Uh. People can reach out to you, definitely, I'll put the email in the description.
