Hey, big for Society. I've got Mark on the phone. He's gonna tell us about what he has experienced out in his neck of the woods. How's it going? Mark? Back to Ben? All the usual, that's a lot of pigeon house and bugs flying around. But what I mean as that's for just a five experience, I'm going to I don't believe whatever.

1:00 Since in the seventies, when people were still talking about Patty at the drop of a hat, when I was running through with somebodies in the rooms back in outside of Traise City, Michigan, I thought for sure I saw these good size points, but everybody blew them off a bear. I didn't think they looked like bear tracks, but I was probably eleven, So whether I know back then, well that's years and years later, twenty nineteen, I bring the family down here to East End. See somebody has this misconception. They'd still see it all the time that you have interactions. I was in the uniform for a very long time and in some interesting places. I know when people are watching me or when I'm being observed. So to find out, miss houise under we're in been empty for a couple of years.

1:59 When the grand kid, you know, ripping it care in the fire yard turn. I'm talking about my wife and daughter sitting on the pork on the front porch. I just got something out of my corner of my eye. I turned to look at the woodline, which is probably under one hundred twenty five ters away. Oh no, it was a it seems black shape. I was there too far to see his face or an After going out there later, I figured he was probably eighty nine feet tall. Anyway, shoulders are probably four and a half five foot wide. Knowing this guy was big, I hope you don't mind the language, but well, of course I go. The wife doesn't know what I'm looking at, tanned to look at it, and I say, what the F is that? And he must say here in a desert, since he must have known that I had seen.

2:53 As he turned to his left my right, and I say, right off into the thicker underbrush. I could see he had long hair on his on his back because I could actually see it all while behind him. Because I'm like, what up was the white on it? And I always thought I'm a little nuts from my old job. She didn't quitn't want to whether to bully me or that. But I went out there the next day, and I didn't want to go out there quite right afterwards. But go out there the next day, and you could see on the outside of the octreface because this is where our horse pasture for something that beat a a heavily used trail down to that spot. And I could see Brooke when he when he took off, I could see broken branches and stuff that, uh really he y plowed through on his way. Boy from here, So that let me know that, okay, we're not alone around here. About a couple of neighbors and one another and one guy his family's been here for generations. Who corner what he said, they can't have Cherokee, So he's you know, there's a lot of the stories around here, and just like some places, everybody thinks of your stories. Well, some people around here they just treat

4:29 him as the folks who live on in the woods. I've always one research this time. Yeah, these guys are quite a bit kicked it up, but even hotter after that, especially for the locals and on. Not because I want to know what I'm seeing around here. But that was the first time we got an above ground pool that we're putting up all back. This was some months later. I get that itch again. I'm looking out through the woods. This guy he's he was ready here, so it wasn't the same one, and he looked like he was smaller, but they were doing that peaking from behind the tree. Then I didn't get answer anything this time.

5:10 I'm just treating like he was a neighbor. Hey, how you doing. Let's see you back there. And then actually came off about halfway behind the tree and stood there and watched and said, we try to put the pool together and whatnot. These guys must be they're curious about what we do too. All these people tramping though, the ones looking for them, they are churious about us as well. A couple of months after that, I'll take care of I have all this special needs, she said to a gtube. And this while I'm sitting up forming feeding and this time I'm just looking out the back window back in the same journal area, I saw the red hair you. Well. At first I thought it because we just had a big storm company here, that's long before that. I'm thinking, okay, that's you the tree stop. But and what everybody says, i'll put it called stump squatches. At first, I'm thinking that it's just a big old tree stunt. I get hit by lighting because it was got off, and then you start swaying back and forth. I'm like, maybe that foster kid.

6:17 So I take the two boys, bring them in there. The boys are sixteen or thirteen then, and I said, look right out there, and what do you see? He says what I said, look like it looks like a tree standing there. And then they go Both of them were like, holy crap, it's moving. Yep, they're watching us again. So there was three and just recently, just a couple of months ago. Machian counter is a sighting. But the horses were fine. I've got a bunch of big dogs and they were going just crazy out back around here.

6:58 This area has a uh not just those guys in the woods. Like a lot of other areas. Some of the local folks are into the show. We said, well made pharmaceuticals, So I want to make sure thing was good out there. I gave Ibby, my oldest farsh boy, a small light. I got my forty five and we went out there to take a look. When we got back there in the horses are fine. The neighbor back to the woods is close. All I can see is the road lights. Of course, there is this huge shadow sitting there. And by now I don't act secured to these guys that much anymore. I like, I'm just home of conversation. Hey, how you doing, big guy? Just stop making sure things are okay? That this kind of thing h And mainly notice because I see it hit the eye shines, so I know he's there anyways. And then he's got this huge shot from the light and we'll see something just movement to our right. There's two more sets of eye shines, and two different heights, think okay, And we had a crew to all left and from where we were standing, that was by seventy five meters down the hill. In between these things. I've got pictures of tracks and my

8:30 pasture, and I know a few of the trees on my there where they've been observing the house. As you can see where they they the beating down spots by the base of the trade that kind of thing. I know they come out part of that freaking that creek bed because when it's dry, it goes all the way up the mountain and it's severally wooded on both sides, so you know, ANWFE could walk down that thing without being seen. So I've got three sets of eye shine around this all already. And I hear something down in the creek rocks getting knocked over. The Bobby said, you hear that, And he says, oh, man, he's looking pretty scared.

9:11 And so I turned around and looked back towards me. You know, that's what I call him, is the big guy to tell you what We're gonna go back in the house. You guys have a good night. And may part about people saying this stuff. But he said to you, what if you keep keeping the black bears and the Kyle stuff out of my pasture. I'll bring you something tomorrow. And I told the pistol with my whim and raise my arm up with the way below, and he did it. Back. Made me feel pretty good that I've you that this guy actually and I can be wrong. I can go out and the goose behind the house again. Next time he could appear and snap me in half, as they can do that being that big. But he acknowledged my presence, and I thought that was a good sign. So the next day I rated the This was before Halloween last year. I rated the kids home. The apples took through them back there, and I actually climbed up into a tree a little bit back where that's where i'd seen him. I showed them down in some branches so you could you had to pick them up and move them to take them, and I didn't because the moon afeel when I placed them. I

10:41 just said theron said there you go, dude, hope you enjoy. Went back to the house, mounted my own business, and the following day went back out there. Both those apples were gone. Those sticks don't shooting cores, they were just gone. I think I might have spoiled them though that I've tried to give him regular apples after that he hadn't touched him. I laid a candy bar out there in the same tree that was going I did the snickers. I took it out of the pack and led up in the tree and shoved it down the branches against so you had to work to get at it. And that was gone too. But so far, I think I almost made him upset last year because he went around and trimmed the brush around the horse fence and got the electric fence working again. I'm just the way I'm thinking. I think I might have shocked him a little bit once I got to go on again, because a couple of days afterwards, if listening as a new point, no, why they you've seen the stories about the trees shoved upside down on the ground. I'll buy where I made my first sighting. I guess it was about a fifteen twenty foot tall long log.

12:05 No guy was a part of a tree that had broken off from the layer, but it was shoved eight inches in the rocky mountainous and sea ground, and then the wider part was balanced up in the crookeds and branches playing up high. I'm like, I had some double buddies come over and we took it down, and I was afraid he was gonna fall on the fence and knock it down the next wind that comes through. Yeah, of course he's blown off. Ay, it just a wheen's fall off. I can see where it snapped off. I'm like trying to explink it was, like, dude, So that branch snapped off, flew twenty five thirty fricking feet through the air and landed perfectly in the ground and manas to shove itself from this ground and balance up there, and I just said, whatever you say, rug. So he pulled down off of the lane there. And one thing I really found strange about all right up to the sometimes I figured I tacked him off the out. It surprised him some of that six thousand bolts.

13:24 A couple of weeks later, something picked up the log and it was outside the fence. Why he cleaned that up, I don't know. I've said, I don't know how that these guys think you guys and he still to see you. I'm assuming you know who Scott Carpenter is. I watch all his stuff. I just tried to stay on good terms with the folks in the woods. So I walked the woodline and just trying to talk and stay on good terms with them and say, look out, there's your area. Didn't here's my area. As long as we keep it we we we are good to go. Besides tracks to my pastor, I've got assuming it was him, because I've got a picture of a one clear out of a trail. The damn thing is a left foot for a good clear tho.

14:15 I was twenty inches long and it's got to be eight inches wide, and the stride was long enough for I'm not a very big guy, but I ate the joke. From track to track, there's lots of stories of the one showing signs of aggression. I thought, the one guy that's not too far from me, but barely up up there in the mountains, he's had new classic rocks and stuff like that thrown at him. Yeah, we grew up there there. We're we are in their their yard, their living room. Apparently he didn't like you be there. About all this is, I haven't gone on trail walking in quite a while now. Just try to show some respect for these guys. M pretty much my experience with the track.

15:13 Different size prints all the time. My pasture everything from I said is a was twenty inches a smaller set there was all the way back to the pasture. And that one looked like they have broken a toe one time because the big tour on the left foot was pointing in like drastically. They have anybody out of the center the broken bones, but they've been as close as before I started talking to another acid basis. I found a trail that came all the way to the side of the house, and I haven't seen anything like that in a long time. So I figure maybe my getting on good terms for those folks it was a good thing. I do have one vocalization them scaring some coyotes away. I'll love some security gamas outside. You can hear the coyotes, and this guy growled at him. You don't hear coyotes anymore.

16:26 You're taking figure. They must have been arguing over kill. That's my stuff down here in the nut show. But I so I go out in the pastor on a regular basis see if anybody's been stepping over the friends are coming in. I know they're like wild raspberries because I was following that truck the trail from outside back in the pasture, and you can see where it stopped, and you umber see the raspberries out behind, outside of the fence. And then I don't really I told other people I don't care about proof anymore because I'm not too worried about proving it. What. I know they're there because people have asked me, and I you know, it's just this guy stepped back over the fence and only ate too many of those raspberries, if you get my meaning. He let them all drop in my pastor.

17:21 It was quite the large pile. I got a people, why didn't you scoop something up? Because I don't care, and I don't want people around here out there going no, don't even what not. I'm a fum believer that certain agency know that they've been doing things to him years. I consider him my neighbor. Why the hell would I want? Don't you eat running around the woods out here? So I've been following you for us just going through YouTube one day and I followed your channel. I follow a lot of what I consider decent ones and some people that know like we realize and m v TV and all that because people say they have a bad reputation. It's like all do I do is put out there with people post. As far as I know, or you know, Steven is all no how to hunt some of these ask for reading and following day pilotis a lot. I was twenty years infantry and twelve years of military cop. He was a long time cup on the outside. So listen to and speak. It seems like we think all in the same wave lifes. It sounds like you're not really scared of having these creatures around your house at all. Well, I know people destroyed, even the even vets that as soon as they seem and all of a sudden they're they get this, you know, m hm, you know

18:53 the deep seated fear. Does that happen? Some folks consider me a little differment to a lot of folks. I've been a lot of it. Been in a lot of bad places myself and in some bad scrapes that something. Every once in a while I had to pull myself out Germany. I had to believe it or not that they have wild boars in Germany get about three hundred pounds. I faced one down with a pick axe one night and years and years an extra time. We were actually, oh he has blank grounds, and ladies scided to come down and start go running through our gear and garbage. Saw. I pick the closest thing I could and get them out of there, And that was that axe in my Holdly brave that I walk out there and you tell them stupid. Didn't one of these guys, won't you know, fix my attitude? Oh no, because now this is display my way of thinking. I figure they're like they are people a lot larger, stronger, and do things a lot of different do we do site people, Some are good guys and some are raging the holes? Where's me?

20:07 More about running out went into out there as somebody had found a five upound black beard, siting that that long ago there they are going to freaking take people out. I don't have north of me. Last year girl was in a hammock and a black bear pulled out of her hammock. Mm hmm. And but there's been seems to be more. Dog Man siding was in the same with Stately in recent months in your area. Some carpenter has got two videos and he too, Usually what I know, I said, I got this feemal want to be washed. We were out there just checking the fence line just the other day, and it wasn't the same feeling it was is.

21:02 I could tell something was out there. They didn't want to do harm and for changing pace years and I don't go by the near the woods without some mild based backup, she always say. But I didn't take any with me that day, So home through the boys with me. I'm like, let's get back to the house now. Then, obviously we know that those are known to be violent. Look at the land between the likes and everybody and the brothers investigating that guy took out of an entire family once I moved down here. In these tales, the cult and creatures and these mountains are full of just unexplained stuff. I'm come to find out there was a family killed back here in ninety six, about ten miles away from my house, and supposely it was a satanic deal there. Really, there is no for weird stuff. It's a lot of other things going on in your area.

22:07 It sounds like, for sure, it sounds like you haven't seen the last of the Bigfoot around your property. I would guess from what you've said so far, you probably will have more encounters, for sure. I have no problem in the world with that. So I try to show him respect, he shows me respect, and we're good. Ye. The ones that's supposed to have the empty show up. Are lots of advantagers being broken up there because I don't have some tools that might open that. We'll leave that to the imagination. Yeah, Mark, this has been quite the conversation. I'm glad that we were able to connect and that you were able to share what you've encountered so far. All right, big for society. I've got the privilege of talking to mister Hernando from Florida today. We had talked back and forth a little bit on TikTok I believe it was, and he's got some interesting stories to share about Bigfoot. So, Hernando, how are you doing today? I'm pretty good and beautiful fundy here in Florida. Very good.

23:18 So let's get right down to it. Yeah, I'd like to start from just before my father's passing, just a couple of years ago. I was a caretaker in the last year or so of his life. He'd come down with pancreatic cancer and he was letting go of a lot of things that he'd experienced in a lifetime, and at the time he was aware of my interest and my activities here in Mayaca in Florida, and he wanted to make sure I didn't give up as easily as I was wanting to out here looking for the Shunt Cape in Themica State Park in the jacent areas. And as the story goes, one day, about two months before he passed away, I was had my wits end. I've been out there for almost three years off and on looking around. I hadn't really seen anything. I hadn't heard anything.

24:15 I've seen some footage from some associates of mine that a pretty well known footage on the internet. And I told him, I said, I just feel like I'm wasting my time out there. It's it's a beautiful setting to be in, but it's just a lot of time to be spent out looking for something that you're just not sure exist. And he told me, he said, son, whatever, you don't give up, these things are out there. He said, I have no intention on telling anybody about what actually happened to me in the Pokemon for I said, well, what do you what do you referring to day? He said, you were calling ninety six.

24:56 You were at work that week, you had opportunity to come out hunting with me that week. It was a Wednesday in ninety six, the winner of ninety six, and we were hunting in the same spot. Him and I both hunted for over ten years. I was in my early teens when he first started taking me out there, and off and on for many years, both he and I would have a conversation after coming out of the wood. Did you hear someone walking through the woods? I told him. I said, yeah, oftentimes I would hear someone walking. It was clearly something on two feets, So we'd never seen anything that Wednesday that I was unable to accompany him hunting. He was hunting in the same spot we had hunted for roughly twelve years. And he said, the day I came and tell you that afternoon and I told you I refused a hunt there anymore, and I wouldn't tell you. He said, I even left my tree climber back there because of what happened. And I said, what do you mean by that? Dad? He said, run, These things exist, and there a lot more places than people even think. The Eastern chorta isolated Peninsula.

26:25 I'd never heard of anybody even mentioned the word bigfoot on the eastern shore of Maryland. And he continued to tell me. He said, I was in my tree stand that morning. I've been up there around four thirty five o'clock and he said, around seven point thirty I heard something coming from behind me. And he had his tree stands facing two west on a very large pine tree that was up on a sand hill. You could see as far as the eye could see without obstruction from some other things like you would on the ground. He was quite high, i'd say, probably about fourteen or fifteen feet up the tree. And he said, I heard it again. He said, I heard footsteps and what sounded like a very large person. And he said, as the footsteps got closer, he said, to my very left about twenty five or thirty yards wasn't very far. He said, out on my left eye, I saw what I thought was another hunter. It's aggravated me quite a bit, because pretty far we're moved into the forest, we rarely sawing out of the hunters there at all, at least in that section of the forest. And he said, I was watching it out of the corner of my eye I was about to say something because I thought it

27:55 was another hunter, he said. I turned my head slightly to the left, and he said it looked like a man in a gavel see, but very tall, he said it was. It was probably about seven foot tall, he said. As I turned my head further to observe it, he said, my tree stand shifted through to the wind. That these things can shift in the cheap tree moves around. He said, it squeaks. He said when it squeaks, it turned and looked in directly in the eye. And he said, whenever it looked in on the in the eye, he realized that it was not a human. And he said that the overwhelming fear of what I was looking at completely locking up. He said, fun, I've been through two tours in Vietnam, and I've never been so frightened.

28:59 He said, when it will too many eyes. He said, this thing had red eyes, and it was completely covered in the air. And this is when I said, Dad, you had a gun in your hands. He said, this thing, if I had shot it, would have definitely climbed the tree and beat me to death with it. He said, it was so massive and so scary looking. And he said it is quite much like something out of a horror film. And he said, whenever it gave him the gaze, and it stared at him for a few moments, and just as quickly as it had turned his head to look at him, it shifted back the way it was going and ran directly through a briar pass that was frankly impenetrable by a human being anyhow, And he said, whenever I heard, you know, no more trees snapping, no debris being stepped on, I immediately climbed down my tree stand and headed the other direction. He said, after that, I didn't want anything to do with that property.

30:14 It was intensely frightening. I think a lot of people have this impression. Well, well, if I got a gun and I'm out there and I see one, I'm going to shoot it. And I think there's something climordial in a person's brain that stops you from reacting in a logical manner. And that's what he definitely experienced that day, and it frightened up so much he never returned to get his free climber and refused to ever hunt there again. It's just an absolutely fascinating story. First, thank you so much. For sharing. Did he say anything about if he heard it make any noise at all? Yes, yes, yes he did. He said. When it shitted, it gave he looked at him, and when it shifted his head back away from him and it started running, he said, it sounded like a lion and an elephant at the same time as it was running through that thicket. He said in extremes, probably as long as he could hear it breaking branches. I don't know how many yards that would be, but it's quite a distance before you stop hearing something in the woods anyhowy one, you're a forest, things tend to amplify and sound, and so I'm assuming he was probably a couple hundred yards away before my father even reacted to get out of the tree stands, and he said that sound was it was absolutely frightening

The tree stand he was in he had just bought the previous season, and tree climbers at the time were quite expensive, and for him to have left it, not to ever retrieve it, it was surprising to me. He didn't tell me this story until just a couple months before he died. I recall the day because she told me. He said we're never hunting there again. We will never hunt there again. And I asked, h must why not and he said, son, we're just not hunting there anymore. And I left it at that And I really put no thought into it until he told me the story, just tired of his death.

32:29 After he told me this story, I took the time to look around because, like I said, I've never heard of anything humanoid being cited on the Eastern Shore. But as I told you previously, that particular quamp was widely discussed as being haunted, but no one ever said haunted by who or what. And after hearing this story, I have no doubt that is what people probably see or see in that area, and that's why it was quote unquote haunted. How far back did those accounts that you found through your research go back? Roughly at least several decades. Now, I know I didn't research any further than that, But when he told me this story, when I started doing research, I know there were other accounts pretty much starting from the northern part of Delaware, which is on the peninsula with the Delaware Maryland and then Virginia. A lot of people aren't ton't even know what the Eastern Shore is or even where it's that, but it's a peninsula that hangs off the east coast. There. When you think of DC or Baltimore, you got the Bay and then you have the Eastern Shore, which is Maryland and a portion of Virginia. And the few sightings that I had come across this a

34:00 cursory search on the Internet. There were sightings in Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia the same year. You're in Florida now, but this is correct influenced you down there. You say you are looking for the skun Cape down in Mayaca State Park. Correctly correct, correct so much that I've actually, in the last six months moved adjacent to the state park because where I was living here in Florida, which was Fradenton, Breakton, Sarasota area that's west of this Mayaca area, and it would take me about an hour to get where I needed to be, just before I even got out of my car.

34:44 Now I'm takes me five minutes, and it gives me time to really focus on what I'm trying to do out there. Personally, I haven't experienced anything. I've come across some partial plants that are questionable. I have yet to come across any full prints that I could cast or say, yes, that's definitely not human. But after my father told me that, and he was emphatic that I continue to shirt because you hear stories from people that live here and have lived here for many generations, and these stories I believe to be are one hundred percent accurate and true. Are you able to share any of those stories that have been passed around for generations or is that a thing where we can't really talk about. Most of what I've seen are glimpses at this thing, not so much long periods of time to observe them. But there's been people tell me that they've had one run across the road really late at night on some of these back roads. And for the people that are not familiar with how emode this area is. As far as there's some of these roads back here is there's literally nothing but trees and swamps and more water as far as you can see. And people think of Florida is pretty well built up, but the center of the state is it is still Primmornial. It

36:16 really is. It's a beautiful sight. And I to courage everybody to come and check out our state. Parks because there are magnificent creatures out here to be seen by all, and the skunt cape is it is an extremely rare creature and people do see it. I have no doubt of that. What do you feel that the skunkcape is? What is it that you're looking for when you go out? Exactly? Personally? I feel I feel a connection with all creatures. It's not just the skunk Gate aspect of it. When I'm out, I'm not just looking for Stunty. I'm looking for other rare animals also. But I feel a connection, like deep in my soul when I look for these things, because to me it feels like maybe a cousin or some kinship to it to humans, and it's hard to put in words, but I feel a spiritual connection there. And you know, I hope one day to be able to see one or at least get some really good evidence through footprints or other means. The state is restricted about what you can and can't do in there, as far as like putting cameras up and things like that. You have to get permission and they have to be put on

37:46 a map, and the rangers that keep eye on things like that. It makes it a little more difficult because of that. You're out there, You're going to have to experience it yourself or witness something that is enough for you to say, Wow, this is it, this is real. And I think there's certain things that some people require and others are willing to take a feeling and a need to try and find these things. I agree. Once you've started to look for the creature, whatever that is and wherever that is, it's a thing that it's pretty hard to give up once you start looking for it. You also mentioned that there were acquaintances you had that had gotten video of the skunkype. Is that anything more you can go into. I'll say this, the guy I'm fining them his video has made around them on various supernatural shows and things. The funny thing is, and this amazes me a little, they always show just this video, never name of his snapshots that he managed to take. He got really close to this thing, and for whatever reason, they never used this snapcot photos he had. Now, keep in mind the video he had, there was probably two dozen people standing

39:17 there witnessing this. And if you go back and look at the video and anybody has smeared with been pudding or Skunky probably knows the video I'm referring to. I don't want to say his name because I haven't spoken to him about this. But if you go back and look at the video, as the video begins, just to his right, there a young lady standing there with a massive camera. Now, what I'd like to know is what happened to her snapshots things like that. I don't know why I go unnoticed or ignored, but I guarantee there are more photos or videos of this thing from that frame event. That's very interesting because I'm ninety nine percent that I know the video you're talking about, but it's interesting to know that extra information where there are other people there and you bring up a good point, what happened to what they captured? 40:42 Because it's important that we document these things. If they are as rare as I believe they are, they should be put on it and Danger or Rare Species list so people don't go out there and deliberately shoot these things. One thing so rare and beautiful to be observed, not hunted. Hernando will end with this, what will it take for you to feel like you've reached your goal of searching for this creature don in Florida? What would be the thing that would have to happen in order for you to feel like you've reached your goal? For me personally, it would have to be assigning similar to my father's or the gentleman that picked the video on what I can do his feelings. I was what he was saying was one hundred percent real. It wasn't a bear, it was on two feet, it was human like, and it did not want to be harassed. I appreciate you reaching out and this has been an extremely enlightening conversation. I'm sure that in the future, once you're able to find what you're looking for, I would definitely say, don't be afraid to reach back out to me. I'd love to talk to you again. 42:14 don't give up. They are out there. You could spend an entire lifetime and only see one or none. But they are out there all right, big Foot society, we've got the privilege. Still got snow up there. We don't get much in Gold River where I am on the west side, middle of the island. It's reretally a lot of rain rain in the winter up here, so the molts get more snow in the valley where we are. It's really nice and wet. I just came back from a weekend across the island on the east side. I met up with four of the researchers over there and we just spent the night, sat some sound equipment to some heights and checked up some video cameras that are in the bush and change some cards and it was pretty interesting. Nut trip. Slept from the car froze. It was really windy and cold where we were on the east coast. And things have been going good than the Sasquatches on Man, you've been looking into sasquatch for a long time out there.

43:45 How did you get started with that? Keith? Ooh, the Gimlin film first off, and then living out here in moving from Manitoba to Vancoullin and living with a Native community. Basically, my parents bought a taxi company in the northwest middle of Vancouver Island in the village of Gold River and we ran that for thirteen years, just talking to the Natives that we traveled with back and forth, just their old stories about sasquat Ism in the villages back in eighteen hundreds, the sasquad Trud region to kids us sleep in the middle of the floor, not in the edges, to the Sasquatried region, to the bungalows and try to grab the kids. Yeah, it's quite a history back back to the eighteen hundreds on Vancouver Island. If you look up the story of mush Let Harry, an old Native trapper back from Mawa Cavan which is up in Gold River here. That's the oldest account that I know of that dates back to the eighteen hundreds of Sasquatter Jean on Vancouver Island, and which is really cool because from the mainland on the east side, you can see it from the island, so it's a two mile swim, so sasquat

45:17 is actually commute from alert By over to the islands, and the island Hawk become avert by and they do a lot of howling up the native reserve up there. I've got friends up there that send me phone recordings of howls grunt sounds. That's pretty cool for sasquatter from Vancouver Island. There's a lot of activity. We just missed out on a bunch of howls and whoops. A Saturday night, we went up by Wass area for thel Ernie Wass and the phial story and we're up there on the east side and some up for researchers that we met up there got some really good howls and barks and treen hawks and we just set up a soundary corner in the bush up on the ridge below where they were camping, and they said, we caught some good in full. It's interesting the sasquatch will flourished here. It's such a cool habitat.

46:27 We got sasquatches that live basity on the ocean eating clams, ceo of anything on the ocean so abundoned. And then we got one that chase elk in the forest. I really believe that if some of the sasquatches hurt them up into a valley in winter time and we'll feed off of them during the winters. Those here such a good food for Sasquatchestle habitat Vancouver Islands about a thousand miles long and maybe seventy five miles wide. That's the widest points.

47:08 And the west side of this is open ocean too China. It's just rugged oceans. Lots of beautiful big beaches on the west side, but you either find a helicopter, seaplane, or boat, and that's the only accessible way in the West coast. She Lillog is out there Alert Bay and they're really nice lay a sasquatch heaven. The susquats swim over from the Maine and over there for some reason and spend a lot of time on the beaches taking clamshells, and Alert Bay is real hotspots for them. It's annoying, they tell us, there's so many How it gets dogs barking opposite the rest. Yeah, we got hotspots Funny Island where they do come to shore and we don't know why yet. The company mainland over the island and then they'll go back and different seasons. We lose them, we know from the area, and then they'll be gone. I did about four areas out here that I really spend time in in the last forty years, and there's activity up there.

48:23 But we go out for a week, spend a week in the book, they will come into camp so rocks. My girlfriend's sister was a major non believer until two summers ago, where she has a baseball sized boulder, was throwing out a tree five feet away from her at a campsite ten minutes out of Gold River, so we don't let her travel that far. They gets half squatches. We've had them in town s. We've had one water tower. I wanted three reserves out here, and within two miles a pound reserve the water towers half a mile of road. A gentleman walkin his dog up by the water tower and the sasquatch walked down front of him, and the guy didn't believe in them until then he's as a normaliver. So that's pretty cool in town. That's pretty nice for Golderer. But we are selling in the buoy. We do a bears, a lot of black bears and Gold River in the island, cougars wolves, and there's probably forty grizzly bears up at the north end of the island now out dere. Yeah, we got quite a variety of animals, lots of food. There's no shortage of sasquatch food on the island. What's here on the west coast. It's not hard

49:58 for than me on all fours run out grab a seal, visit meal for them. So it's pretty cool. I got a good friend of mine that's putting a boating outing together. They're going to go cruise some beaches, an old army base that's dessert, spend the night there doing a little bit of research, set some sound equipment up, a few trill cam and see thing. Get sasquatch on the beach eating time show through that circle. You mentioned you have grizzly bears around the area, and I've talked to a gentleman in Montana and he said there's times when the sasquatch will almost fight the grizzlies.

50:46 They found grizzlies that have their necks broken. Have you ever heard any experiences where the sasquatch are going up against the larger predators in the area of the river. Anything means I don't know, but the bears won't. The bears will not. They won't mess with them. Black bears, yeah, the black bears. Yeah, they won't mess with them. Look, you imagine a baseball side of rock being thrown that elk laid to slow it down in the bush, and you'll grab that elk and break his necklace. Nothing. Wow, But they're hunting skills, are They do use weapons. A rock's a weapon and they'll bring down now to yours leg and sew it down.

I'll across about three elk in the past fifteen years, unexplained dads just in the books, laying there, beautiful elk within You know you're in Dad's maybe half an hour. No bullet wounds, not a hunting season. Luck somebody up there. Even there's such a glass wilderness out here, lots of logging roads, there's lots of access and then you've sent a bank rally's logged. Well that's the sad part. Yeah, accessibility is really nice. We do have a lot of old himbers still in a lot of the parts of the island.

52:17 For his growth timber and his second growth is really nice. Ni Kish Valley has really grown over view in the last twenty years. We got caves running up and down named Kish Valley. Just what every mountain. I'll have a cave unit somewhere. And there's some loggers I know, found a giant cave up You got your boat to your boat up in the and there big cave up there. One guy went in three hundred feet by himself, and he said, you can stand up the hole all the way. But he came back after about three and the feet of but he's and it goes in way. So we're going to go to the summer, set up a huge rail cameras sound equipment over by that area, and then camp for about eight days and see what happens over in that area. But what I've learned over the years is four days in the bush out here, a sasquatch will come to camp. It's they're really curious. They know about us. They watched con cu out and grow. We got residential sasquatches, and then we got island happers. It's how do you want to describe it? A year in Awe, a friend and I were up in a mountain make twenty two komers out of town here somebody had made a homemade picnic table out of an old

53:50 piece of wood, and there was a giant picnic table there, and where we camped from. The picnic table must be about eighty yards from the table towards the lake, and the little trail walks towards the lake. And then you come across the picnic table, make a left and be down three steps and you're on the lake. And such as a giant picnic table, something made of old wood that was falling over in the wind blow. We're out there one night ten o'clock and nights day four, day five. We're out there at ten o'clock at night and we hear this knock on the picnic table. Three wraps your heart right away. You can't control that it and then you adrenally start to flow and send my buddy. And we looked at each other, and these of us moved. We know what to do. It's like it was so clear, so loud, and he's like, boom on that picnic table eighty feet away, ten o'clock a knight, eighty pick black.

54:55 You don't mean we've got going to fire, no lanterns, no flash lights. Andy to grab and run to the picnic table, but we did not investigate it. Him and I just sat there and we never heard the thing after that. But we never heard it come in the camp. It was so quiet. I think I walked along the lake edge and snuck into the camp up to the vision table and then wrapped the three wraps up there. But that was exciting. Another time, the same man, the same guy was out with. We spent ten days up into the river and I we case went up the mountain and we got nine whoops. We didn't catch it, but we tried tracking we could up this mountain. We came to a rock impassable for us, which there's no way we can get up that rock. Once ago the timbers turned into a rock face and you can see where it climbed up to. The moss was ripped off the rock and turned areas less. Only good Campanzee climbing up there by n eighteen hundred pound one all fours. There was nothing for getting up there, so we turned around, came back count of camp. I had my video camera going and I was telling people that we were up this ridge jumped his mountain, trying casing the sasquatch up there that we saw earlier, heart earlier, So I got

56:30 nine oops. I was a videotape and you can hear them. But I made the mistake and walked towards the river okay, and the river drowned the sound lasts or woops out, so you got more river than woops. So I got nine oops down my video camera. Anyways, that was pretty cool and older. I have never ever had like snout a sasquat in the bush. You know how they talk about that putin's they're hot and meat smell. I've never had that. They come across a dead deer or something in the bush, and I've never a snout a soa squad chet and tree structures, I've never come anything like giant trees being hoisted up in the air and stuck together. Not something else I've never come across here on the mainland. I've heard stories four foot round tree, we'll be wedged up against another one and I mean four or five other smaller, longer poles and be jammed up against him. Make some kind of cheap the effect out here I've never found, though, and it's really hard. They make pats, they don't make houses lay in nests like a gorilla. Out here on the island. They don't make houses. You won't find any tree structures where you climb into it and branches like a little for that baby won't do it over here. Have you

58:05 found nest sites? Then it's hard to say, because of the ground out here is like you get a bunch of ferns and you don't know if the elkerly in them or sasquacket. So that's the thing. The elk lamee the ferns too, and the sasquat. But you find indents where you think they were sitting over the years. One tree of you all the barkwike just picked off parts of the tree and you might find an indent where you'll sit. I just sit there, and yeah, they're very sneaky. I did catch a picture about two weeks ago of one following us. I did here in the background, so I turned around, took a picture and we just kept walking. I got home. I posted that picture, and a lady all my groups and says, oh, you caught a sasquatch in the background by those three alder trees, and so he's moved it in and reposted those pictures and turned enough to the face of a young, juvenile, young sasquatch.

59:19 It's not an old one, young black one. So we just took the face of a sasquatt going up a logger road. So I went and set the trail camera up there. The elker up there, wild ago. There's lots of fresh cat, a few deer. So I said, oh, shure, yok. With a trail camera up, we will kick an elker, the deer, maybe even a sasquatch. So I've got a trail came in the area where I've got a picture of a sasquatch, so that's interesting. It was like you're cost something was following us, but you don't hear a lot. Our bush is really quiet. We heard maybe four birds today when we're out for three hours hiking around today at one's lace, me and two buddies. The bosh is really quiet, and we're talking about dear and help while we're hiking, like just you don't see them. We made so much noise in the forest even walking this big trails that are up behind one of our lakes. It's a group community lake offs a trail back there for people to walk. We'll see for it up there today, just hiking around and we're talking about like they run a deer our valleys echo. If you start off the highway and start driving down the valley, that car will echo

And that's why we spend days at the camp site, the long Stead camping with activities, twenty days. Me and a guy. I brought this guy in from Hope and him and I spent twenty days in the movie and that was really interesting. But we had no equipmentine I don't work retired health reasons but I don't, so I don't even equipment on sound equipment. I went into big mics with a dish that'd be really cool to have. And the night vision, now, wow, there you go. I've had a friend of mine, I had three thousand gogle three thousand dollars for night vision.

I go out there with what they got on and the giver, Yeah, such a goop. But you spend time anywhere in the forest a week and they will come. Going back to how you mentioned that you grew up around the Indian culture, do you happen to remember any other stories of sas question that you would have heard growing up that you can share it. I just remember the kids, but the older guy would say they would not sleep on the wall. They were sleeping in the middle of the floor. Four or five kids. You're trying to get through the But when Morris for clean, there's no native guys passed away many years ago. He was a really good friend of mine. When he was five years old. They used to boat kayak from Fremicove Island up thee and let the Old River and they would hike two days in the Campbell River, which is on the east side. It's an hour out of Old River as you drive now, but they would hike it. It would take them two days longing the river trails. But Moores would cry because you would be

1:03:22 so scared because they'd be camp in the Sasquak areas and the Sasquakers knew it, and they would leave gifts, read and they would leave fish for them when they would leave camp to the sasquatchs. And it's now bugging them. This is what it was. Don't come in the camp and steal our food. But the moores would cry every time they'd spend the night in the forest hiking on the way in the Camp river. They've been back here since by nineteen hundreds, eighteen hundreds as much at the Hairy Store. Yeah, there live on. Many occurrences happen, mate. I don't know anymore, Keith. 1:04:06 The thing I love about Canada is that up there there's plenty of these stories about dinosaurs and things seen, prehistoric creatures. You've got the Partridge Creek monster, You've got the Nahani Valley where supposedly there's an undiscovered valley of prehistoric creatures. If you hear stuff like that, does that jog your mind to any stories at all that you've heard over the years, And if not, don't worry about it. No, not for prehistoric creatures. But I've been in some forest where you'd expect to be some kind of man eating creature. I just expect this is this is a dinosaur forest. I've been a few of them, but no, no dinosaurs. We did get one years ago.

1:05:02 Somebody did find a big skeleton on one of the rivers down island. Oh really there was a real Yeah, some kind of fish creature like the walk hands monster, long neck, big tins become body looked like Ghino from Fred Flintstone. Fine, so some creature like that was sound on one of the rivers on the island, you know, one hundred and twenty feet long. But that skeleton is on the island somewhere. That's the only I know here. But yeah, our bushes, kicking areas and so full of cool plans.

Has there ever been a time that you can think of, over the years of researching in the bush, being out there for days at a time where it was so weird, something was so off that you like, you'd rather not be here right now, just you just got the chills, anything like that. I broke down. I was trying to head to McCurry Creek, which is up the inlet from Gold River, but there's a logging road that takes you right to the ocean. And it's only about three miles up from our government wharf.

1:06:25 But you got to drive the logging road all the way around, which takes you three hours to get the exact same place. I broke down the cross ditch. I hit it too hard, bust my jeep set up its hand. My buddy went and crashed in there. I spent the night on a fire, sitting by a fire all night behind me, I can hear something throwing rocks and pebbles. Not big one is here on hit the logging road, but then he's here. Snap. It would sit there and break a branchy twig, not a big twig, which is from the side of a toothpick, And you're here. And I turned around. It couldn't see anything in this cool holy cow. That freaked me out. That was a weird night. But all night until dusk, when I could see the silhouettes on the trees and the mountains, it got quiet. It left whatever it was, but it stayed there for about five hours, dropping rocks on the road and just breaking little branches. But it never moved. It stayed at one place behind me, and I never got the nerve to stand up.

1:07:34 I didn't have a flashlight because I can't have one, and it wasn't especially the break down at twelve o'clock at night. Yeah, that's the only freaking thing I ever had where I knew I shouldn't have been. He was like, I'm on my own, buddy, sleeping, and yeah, I'm sitting out here. It would break a little branch and I turned my head but I couldn't see it, and I'm sure you could see my so wet and it will just sit in here laugh with me. Yeah, for five hours it just teasing me. That's funny. But wow, it started to freak me out. It wouldn't stop. Huh yeah, And I would turn around, I couldn't see any of you. Did pitch black in that forest? That? Yeah, very cool.
