0:40 They just had something recently happen to them in Oakridge, which listeners will be definitely familiar with. There's been many people I've talked to about their Bigfoot experiences from Oakridge, so welcome to the show, guys. This happened pretty recently, I mean just last Saturday night and right now. The recording date is April ninth, twenty twenty six, so this was just days ago on Saturday Night, right Yeah, would you be able to start things off by sharing a little bit about why you were in the area that you were, where the area was around Oakridge that you can share and a time of day things like that.

1:35 Yeah. So we thought it would be a really good idea to take our one year old son camping, and so I wanted to go fishing to hence the boat in the background. So we were thinking about other lakes to go to, and we were worried about like potential snow. So Alex was like, well, well, let's go over to Hills Creek past oak Ridge because I've heard there's a bull trout in there and we wanted to like try to catch some bull trout. We ended up only catching rainbow trout by the way, but anyway, so we go out there with our son, with the dog and with the boat. At Hills Creek, we find a super cool campground that has like a gazebo, like a wooden gazebo with two picnic tables, and we're like, this is it, Like this coolest campsite ever. Like you can see down the hill near the reservoir where our boat would be parked.

2:41 You could see other people like having a good time. This few other people out there at their boats and their jet skis and some girls like hanging out. So yeah, we picked that spot. It was awesome. We had the whole campground to ourself too. There was no camp host because I guess it's just not that time of the season yet. So but yeah, it was my first time there. I've been to Oak Ridge a lot, but he's been to the reservoir. I don't know about camping there. Have you ever camped there? Never camped there, but putting my boat in there a few times to go fishing out there, and yeah, we got a fun, a fun day out on the water and just wanted there. Our one year old on his first camping Yeah, it was his first camping trip, and uh yeah it was. It was the the one of the lakes that I wasn't worried about putting my boat in there be snow around because it's wintertime or kind of you know, coming out of the winter, and uh yeah.

3:46 So we picked that camp site. At the campground, it seemed like there wasn't very many camp sites to choose from from what I remember, but maybe we didn't go through the whole thing. When we just saw that cool one. We parked our truck up top. There's some like wooden stairs you've got to go down, and another campground to go to get to ours that we chose, so it was like pretty far out of the way of the truck, but there wasn't going to be anyone around bothering us. But there wasn't anyways, because nobody else was camping there. So anyways, we ended up having a really good day out on the boat. We caught a few rainbow trout.

4:28 Our son actually didn't love the boat. It was his first time on the boat also, But yeah, we did that pretty much all day and then brought it back in, made hot dogs in the evening, put our son down, and then that's when things started to get kind of weird. Do you remember the number of the campsite you guys were at. I don't remember. It was right in front of the boat ramp and the only campsite with like a little gazebo there, gazebo. Like you know, with like lunch tables and star underneath it. That we were like, yeah, it's sweet. We don't even have to put up argacy, but we because you use this one, you could pick it out if you're. There, absolutely, it looks like you're probably at the southern part of the campground. Yeah, okay, perfect, perfect, And so you're having hot dogs and then what time of night would you say? Things started to get weird.

5:29 So we put our son to bed. He ate, We put him to bed. Then we did dogs. You know, it was a good time. It was fine. It was starting to get dark, and after hot dogs, were like, dude, let's go look at the stars and you could see all of them, like it was kind of like, you know, romantic if you will, Like it was just like a good time. So let's go with the stars. So we're with the stars and then this boat comes in for dark. Yes, right, right, so the last person is sleeping got dark. The last boat on the water came in. I remember seeing him go out and I was like, oh, I wonder when that last boat's going to come back in.

6:14 And he came back in after dark, and I'm like, Dan, he fished all day long and then uh he left. Yeah. I remember like right when he left, like it was started getting pitched black dark, and then we were just the only ones out there. After that, there was no one else, no one, no service, and then like, yeah, we were just laying under eath the stars. And then I started to just kind of pick up a weird vibe. I don't know why, but like I'm very like intuitive and like I like have a good sense of things I feel like, and like I pick up on energy very well, and like I just started like feeling weird and like I don't know why, Like I just like we looked at the stars for probably like thirty minutes, but I just felt weird. Like I just felt like an unsettling vibe.

6:58 For some reason, I saying like I'm scared, baby, and I was like that's okay. I don't know why though, because like I love camping. I grew up camping, like I love the stars. Like I don't know. It was just weird, and I think what made me feel weird too, Like there was like eerie eeriness of like the frogs croaking down at the reservoir and then they'd stop and be like completely silent, and then they'd keep croaking and then it would go really silent, and like it just felt weird. So we're like okay, like after thirty minutes of that, like let's stop. And then it's like nine o'clock now, so we put the remaining food away. You know, everything's absolutely sealed up, put away away from our tent. Okay, And we go to lay down and we have like a flashlight illuminating the tent. Our son is in his pack and play all cozied up. We get cozied up, and the frogs are still there. Thing it's kind of weird. And then we hear like this really bizarre like owl hoo like but not an owl like it sounded like a person was like trying to mimic an owl, but not an owl.

8:08 Like I can't describe it, but after seeing videos of what I think it was, I it sounds exactly like. The like whooping. It was weird. So that freaked me out. And he was like, yeah, that does sound like a weird owl, Like that does like it like from what I remember thinking. I was like, is that a person like trying to make an owl noise out there? Like that's kind of sketchy sound that it just sounds creepy. And then I was like, Alex, will you go to the truck and get the gun, like just like having the tent, like maybe that'll make me feel better. And he was like, yeah, I'll go get the gun like you want me to.

8:50 I was like yeah. So he goes, you know, walks up that little campsite or whatever, up those stairs, so he's like away from me. I'm in the tent with the dog in the baby. He grabs the gun and brings it back down. I feel much better for some reason, just knowing that we have like the firearm neck like with us rather than in the car. So then like it's basically just an hour this whole time we've been in the tent. It's like an hour of him consoling me that it's okay. But I just have this weird, unsettling feeling. And I felt that unstudn feeling. We were at stars too. But basically it kept going on, and then finally I was like okay, like I'm I'll go to bed, like good night, I love you, We said our good nights. I go to turn my head, laid down the pillow, and then that's when the creepiest thing happened of the whole experience, like literally somebody, it sounded like somebody because it was literally two legs or two feet if you will, was walking up behind our tent.

9:55 And then up in front of the tent, and the tent was like move around like it was about to open. Like it was terrifying. And I heard it coming from the back of the tent. I sat right up and I was like, oh my god, do you hear that? And then he set up and he had been immediately and then like it kept walking and then it would like stop, and then it would keep walking. It got all the way to like the front of our tent, and then like the like tent seemed like it was moving around. I mean, my heart was literally exploding. I thought we were about to die. I thought, maybe is this a person? It's not an animal. It just felt so scary, like I felt paralyzed with fear. And yeah, it was just it was terrifying, honestly, and even he was like, you know, on edge like it was. It was terrifying. I don't know, it wasn't an animal, like, I don't think at all, because it was like it just sounded like a person. And mind you were camping.

10:58 Our tent is on top of leafs too. It was extra loud, but like it was literally like came up right behind our tent, came up to the front door of the tent and the tent was moving around like something maybe was trying to open the tent or something. I mean, it was spooky. My goodness, Alex. Did you notice anything during that time as well? Different? I guess, like I I'll guess, I'll say in my view, so like yeah, like we laying underneath the stars and like heard those like owl noises. And at this point we were alone out there the.

11:39 Last and the frogs like kind of like you know, they started croaking because it was nighttime, they started croaking, but like when we were there, yeah, it was it was just like why the frogs keep going silent, like completely black silent. And then it was really quiet out there. And then. We went to lay down and heard her heard that like noise. It was like, no, that's an owl and then there was like no, like that sounds weird. That like it was like it was all you know, it was almost like a like a dog trying to make owl noises or something. Which sounds are by the way, that sounds absolutely bizarre, but that was really what it sounded like.

12:23 And uh, you know we uh didn't you know, we were just kind of playing off, you know, everything up at the at the site and then like went to to go lay down, and meanwhile, this whole time, Savannah's like I'm scared and I'm like it's okay. They're like, you know, there's nothing to be scared about. I just felt a really heavy all. The time, like yeah, and uh, you know, I'm out in the woods all the time. Not to be worried about. And they went to go lay down, and uh, there was noises like when we first laid down that. She was like, what was that And I was like it's it's nothing so like that, you know, the wind blowing or you know, a tree brush falling whatever, and I didn't hear it.

13:08 And then. It got to the point where we were like all right, like we're going to fall asleep now. And then like it was like someone walked down the trail over the tent and almost like it was like it felt like someone was like like walked down the side of the tent and was trying to look into the tent. That's how it felt like. That's what I thought. Someone was like trying to peek in or something. And it was like clear footsteps. It wasn't like you know, something rolled down the hill. It was like a bear or something legs. Walking leg that was like not not quiet, it sounded like a human. It sounded like a person and uh, and then walked over to the front of our tent.

13:52 Basically at that point, I'm reaching for my protection and I feel like someone's going to open the tent because it was movie was like and like that's when like. A huge energy, like a huge like just a massive wave. It's like, you know, the adrenaline rush and then just like fear and Samannah's like I finds let's let's go, let's get out again. And no, he didn't even hesitate. That's like he wasn't like, oh it's fine, He literally like leave like and so like yeah, when when he you lived the gun and like had the gun handy when it got like literally in front of our tent, like it was going to come inside our tent. I say it because I don't know it was. I think it was bigfoot, honestly, I do, because if it was a person, we've came to the conclusion we were the only people out there, okay, and if it was a person, the intentions that obviously weren't good, but we would have had after opening the tent and packing and leaving. I mean it took a second to leave because we're on a kind of a hill and we had lot of stuff with us, and we also had to go get the boat, so we didn't The thing is is that we didn't see anything or anyone when we were leaving and like got out. When we got out of the tent, that was the scariest part of it all to the second scariest part, I guess, because like I had, you know, get my baby and he and the dog, and I had a knife on me,

15:24 and we walked straight to the truck and just kind of locked ourselves in the truck and waited for Alex to like pack up everything because I was mortified. I was absolutely mortified. And he handled it very well and he kind of just walked around the campsite with the gun in his hand packed it up and then which took forever. It felt like I got satellite service on my phone and just like texted my mom and my best friend basically like kind of what was going on, Just like a short stummy and you know, something weird is going on, Like somebody was walking by our tent and like we're freaked out, like we're packing up and we're leaving. Just want to let you know what's going on.

16:06 And yeah, then we had to go get the boat out of the water, which was really eerie. I mean it was just like the energy was intense and it felt like whatever was going on like didn't want us there because like and it worked, like I don't know if we were like spooked off by you know, I don't know, like we're I don't know. It was weird. It was very scary. That's that's intense, guys. And it just happened, you said four days ago. Yeah, I've been freaked out at home ever since it happened. I've been I've genuinely I've been like really freaked out. Like it felt really traumatic, literally, like I was so scared when that Like it was literally like something on two legs was walking up to our tent and about to open it, and like the noises like and just the inner like just like it was like a it was just like a dark energy. To me, it was just weird. It was bizarre. Now that I look back, it was just also not because like, yeah, like we were the only ones out there one hundred percent couldn't have been another person and then.

17:18 Like yeah, like the the dreadful like that. It was just a feeling that I've. Never felt before, Like I've been out camping in the middle of nowhere and way more isolated areas and way more you know, quiet areas, but it was like an intense like you know, just like an intense fear. I felt paralyzed in the tense. And it makes sense to me, like after like really thinking about it, because I never you know, believed in anything like that, or like it was like it makes sense that a creature like Bigfoot or something like that would have like an aura or like a you know, something to be kept so secretive, and I think that's something that like other people have experienced too, But like it makes sense that if Bigfoot was around and like he wanted to not be found by people.

18:15 And you're in his territory, that it felt like that he would. Have some sort of energy that would like deter even people that don't believe in that kind of stuff or like I'm an outdoorsman, like it would makes sense that that that there's something like that I felt for I've never ever felt anything like that. It was so weird. It was have you ever. Heard that from people or other people even like that experienced that in Oakridge, like specifically, like maybe there's some something about Oakridge specifically that like people have like a like a really like a fear of it and like a good feeling. So I will I will tell you what Oakridge is is very weird. And you know, I've talked to over fifty I would say over fifty people on the podcast so far about their experiences around Oakridge. And that's everywhere from you know, just outside the town down to Hills Creek, and you know, further north a little bit up to High Prairie and and maybe east out to the Hot Springs.

19:22 I mean, yeah, there's there's a lot of weird stuff, guys. I mean so I can even talk from experience, Like you know, I've been out to that town the last few years for the Bigfoot Festival that happens in July, and like so I've driven out to Hills Creek myself. And the first time I did that, you know, I got I got freaked out, and it was middle of the day and I was just at let's see, it would have been probably ct Beach boat launch and just I got like a weird feeling of being watched out there. I mean people don't. I don't think listeners realize that once you get out at that reservoir, it's like you're out there, and I mean Packard Creek it looks as even further out than I was. It is totally different part of the reservoir. And I talked to so many people out there during the festival. I even talked to one individual that they had an experience at Packard Creek in twenty four where they heard these weird, like primate type noises. And then Priscilla did Priscilla mention about how she interviewed a person from the same campground that had they were getting howled at. Yeah, and the whole campground woke up.

20:40 Yeah, she did. She did tell me that the same campground, and I didn't mind you. I just want to say I did not know any of the weird stuff that goes on there. And like I always like when I was a teenager, we'd go to like McCready hot Springs and stuff, and like I always thought that was like kind of grim me and like it was just like it's kind of a weird place. Okay, But so I've been to Oakridge a bunch for that, but I didn't think anything of it. I actually, I mean I was born and raised in Oregon, and I didn't even know that Oakridge was so known for bigfoot stuff at all. I didn't know there was a big foot festival, Like I didn't know any of that. But I'm like, yeah, it makes perfect sense, and we were just another experience, like that's why the town is so passionate about like sharing the stories and stuff, and like.

21:35 Yeah, she didn't know anything about like the other stories or anything. Like I took her out to the Hills Creek Resmore and I was like, Oakridge can be kind of sketchy, Like I don't know, I hope that she doesn't like look into it or I hope she doesn't think about it. I didn't, I obnestly did. And then we've been out there experienced this and then she looked into it all matched up. That was the crazy part is that everybody said that they've had this feeling of feeling watched and they had this before, like watched your tiktoks or like like this is literally just simply from like Google, Like Google said some like weird stuff like has happened out no gridge and stuff, and like it usually sends campers to like go home because there's like a weird like like kind of like just a weird energy and like mostly like people being watched. I don't know.

22:24 Yeah, there's some weird stuff that happens around the town. I mean, it is I've been a orgon a few times. It is one of my favorite places. But it is a place where you need to be prepared if you're going out in the woods, because weird stuff can happen and you need to be ready to deal with whatever could happen. And I don't think I think what's happening is there's just random campers that are going out like you guys, and you're getting more than you bargained for, which you had no idea what was what you were getting into, you know. So we had a really. Good day and like it was just like I felt extra vulnerable, especially like as a mom because we had our one year old baby with us.

23:07 I mean. And the weirdest part was is that like which is really weird because I think the dog would have went crazy. But the dog was, like I think just so exhausted from swimming all day and playing all day and being in the boat and nonline like. The dogs of Springer Spaniel, like a dog dog was completely alert. It was really really and. Uh yeah, he he didn't move a muscle the whole time. He was like, I don't know what's going on. Wow, it was just passed out. So that was weird. But we know what we heard, and it. Was like totally unlick him. You know, he's normally very like. Well like you know, bark or whatever, even at the smallest noises, and like another thing, I was like, maybe, like like that, there's like a reason behind that, Like maybe like you know, these these type of experiences don't alert animals and stuff like that. Another reason that they stay so concealed and like are just like you know, are like you know, these hidden hidden things because they like some sort of like energy or ability to do that, which I thought was like just one of those things.

24:19 I was like, I wonder if other people have experienced that, Like, wonder if other people have like gone, you know, like did the same thing. My weirdest part is also that we didn't it walk away unless we were so adrenaline doubt and just freaked out, and he was loading. It was crazy because he brought a twenty rifle, so it's like an old cowboy gun. So it's taking what feels like forever for him to load the gun. I mean there was like a and I'm not like a so I don't know what this was. But I mean he had to like take out like this pipe at one point, and like he's like shaking, like taking out the bullets. It was just crazy. It felt like it lasting forever. And I honestly thought like we were about like I hate to say this because it sounds so dramatic, but I literally thought were like we're about to die. Like that's how it felt. I felt paralyzed and scared, and my heart was like being out of my best and like the noises and the energy of being watched it felt like. And then the like something like walking straight up from around in front of our tent and like it was going to open it like it was just creepy. It was. It was top percent the scariest moment I've ever had in my life.

25:36 Absolutely I thought that was it. I have actually experienced that too. I do solo camping sometimes out here in Iowa and inactive areas where there's bigfoot activity. And I mean I have been in the same exact situation where you guys were in a tent. Something walks up, is walking around and you're you're pretty much like, okay, this is probably this could be it. So I just you know, and you're like paralyzed. It can't move and it freaks out. Man, It's so bad. It is so so bad. But thankfully you guys were able to get out of there. You know. I think what was happening, is it it just wands you out of the area for some reason. I mean, if it I think so at the end of the day, if something that is as big as Bigfoot wants to take you out, I mean to just say it is it's going to take you out. I think it was trying to be like, you know, get these people out of my area. There's no one else down here, just get them out. I don't know, it's just there's a lot of weird stuff.

26:45 Yeah, I'm not Bigfoot is supposed to be nice. Well, like like I don't know, that's. What I always would have thought too, Like I never like felt like it would been like a get out of here, like not to make jokes about it, but genuinely like I mean, when you when I ever thought of it, I mean I just see like the label of him everywhere and like the like I don't know, like I my mom is super into Bigfoot, my my dad is actually like my whole family is. My grandpa I think actually talked to you at one point and I just found this out. I just found this out too. I didn't even know my grandpa had encounters at Hills Creek when he would go hunting with my uncle and one took his buck.

27:35 Mm hmm. I remember talking to him, You remember talking to him. Yeah, it was wild. It was down in that area. I think it was a little bit east of Hills Creek maybe, but pretty much the. Same area the obviously at the reservoir he was going camping. Yep, he's been there a lot. I mean he with my uncles and they've they hunt out there a lot. And he said every time they've gone out there, there's been some weird stuff. But he's just one of those guys where he's just like, you know, he's old, he's seen so much that like nothing really you just go okay, you know, right, that's kind of how he is. But he's like he knows what he's experienced, and I one hundred percent believe him. And yeah, that place is just like got a lot of something going on there.

28:29 There's a lot of energy, and you know, it's it's guys, it's it's not just bigfoot down there. I mean I have had really interesting conversations with people from that area. I mean I even had a conversation with a guy who was like, I was driving down Hills Creek and this is the road to the north of the reservoir, not the west, and He's like, I saw something cross the road that looked like an eight foot long salamander that kind of looked like a dragon. I was like, you know what, I don't put anything past that place anymore. There's some weird, weird stuff going on in the Wilamotte National. Force National Forests is wild, Yeah, really wild. And then like I wonder about like the missing people cases and stuff like now that all this just happened too. I'm especially like kind of dialed in other thing, but like it kind of just like there's just some weird stuff that goes on out in the National Forests.

Absolutely, Yeah, from what I thought was going to be just like a super fun It was literally like it was a traumatizing experience as a bring in your baby and trying to have a family time all alone too. I mean it was like I didn't think anything of it because I just grew up camping. I mean I didn't think there was I mean, I didn't think anything of it, But now I do. Now I'm like afraid to camp an intent. Well, I was going to ask, you know, afraid. To go back there? Ever, I don't ever want to go out there. I was going to ask you, how has this affected you? Guys? Is it a thing where it might be a while until you go camping again, or what do you think.

30:14 I would say? In that area? I think I'll ever go Like I've camped. That's the first time I've ever camped in that area, but I've camped in many or isolated different areas that that's never happened to me. So like it makes me, I guess, like more nerves to camp in a tent and like you more alert. But like I think that there is just like some bad energy or like, uh, you know, something that did not want us camping in that area. I was watching us and it was weird because it felt like it heard me be like, you know, get consoled for an hour about how scared I was, and then I was finally like okay, like I'll go to bed, you know, good night, And then that's exactly when it happened.

31:01 Literally when my head hit the pillow. I can't make it up. Like it was just wild. It's weird almost. It was like it was like listening, it was very weird. Have you besides me, have you guys reported this to anyone else? Yeah, to my family, my grandpa. I called him today, talked about it. I've told my mom, my dad, my best friend. And then I talked to Priscilla from Area fifty eight Museum today because he told me I should reach out to her, and she was happy I reached out to her about it. And then, yeah, it also just made me feel like because obviously when you talk about this stuff like it kind of makes you feel like, do people think I'm crazy? You know, like they're just gonna be like, oh, it's just an animal. But like she just like validated it and was like, I'm so happy to hear that there's more activity. I want my husband to take me care. But yeah, like She just basically like validated that, like, yeah, there's a lot of activity, like it's a big hot spot, And I'm like, wow, I didn't know we were going camping at a bigfoot hot spot. Like it's like insane.

32:12 Pretty much that's the whole area. Really, yeah, yeah, didn't. We just keep talking about it every night? Oh okay, kind of just you know, comparing notes. Have you guys reported it to the Ranger Station? I was like, no, we have not, No. Gotcha, gotcha? It would be interesting to. See you do that. I guess, yeah, I guess this is my first time. Like what would the range like the Ranger Station would laugh at you? Right, No, I don't think they would. I've talked to him a few times. But thankfully at this point they when they get Bigfoot stories, they're like you need to go talk to Priscilla, you know, which is nice, But they get Bigfoot story all the time at that Ranger Station.

33:02 Dude, really oh yeah really yeah. I was totally unaware of anything until afterwards. I want to go see that museum though I didn't know that was even there. And then I didn't know that this show called Gravity Falls. You probably already know this, but I didn't know that that was like based on Oakridge. I'm like, dude, this is weird. Like it's weird how everything's like synchronized to Oakridge all of a sudden we just want to go camping there. It's just like weird. It's just like all weirding me out. It is a thing where I think there there'd probably be a few comments where'll be like, oh, gravity Falls is this No? I mean, I don't know if it's actually like about if it's based on Oakreage, but it's so close, especially after having a Bigfoot museum in there now, I mean that's even closer. But yeah, it is. It is like the life, the real life Gravity Falls one hundred percent. It's one of my favorite places to go.

33:59 Yours So yours is, Oh, when you were in the tent, did you smell anything weird? Did you have any smell any weird smells? Not that I can remember, honestly. I mean, we just had put out the campfire. I think it was still kind of dying out. Yeah, I guess I was. You know, we were sitting in front and we were getting smoked out by the campfire. The whole night smelled like we were cooking. We cooked hot dogs of the fire and stuff, and yeah, all I can smell is campfire. Yeah, we didn't notice any smells. Gotcha, when you're in that campground, and this could be any time that you were down there, did you notice anything else that was weird, any weird lights or anything else that didn't make sense outside of the Bigfoot related stuff.

34:55 Yes, I didn't. I didn't know if I was supposed to talk about it, but one hundred percent, yes, we were looking at the stars. I was scared. That's when I got scared. I'm really I have chills. I'm actually so glad you asked that because I was like, dude, why are these like are these all satellites? Like they were all oving left like and I am an astrology girl, like I love like everything celestial. Okay, I love looking at the stars. But there were like a lot of like weird like movements in the sky with the stars. And I did see a couple shooting stars actually, but like and Alex was like, oh, it's just satellites, Like there's like the starlink thing going on, and I'm like, that's a lot of satellites. Like it almost felt like every star except for the super bright ones were all moving left.

35:46 I mean, it was weird. And that's when I got a weird vibe. I didn't want to look at the stars anymore. God, I'm sorry if that sounds crazy. No, it doesn't. Not a weird vibe looking at the stars. It doesn't. And usually there's there's something else that happens alongside with these encounters, whether it be you know, maybe like a UFO type related thing, or sometimes people see orbs in the woods, or they hear disembodied voices, just all sorts of weird stuff that can happen alongside with Bigfoot, or or it gets really cold all of a sudden, or their batteries go dead on all their devices. Is a lot of weird stuff that can happen together with these type of situations. So, oh my goodness, Oh this is weird. The thing about your situation, because you left when you did, is so you weren't able to check if there were like any tracks around the tent or or things of that nature, because you just you left.

36:54 We were. I checked. Well, we're also on dead leafs, so there wasn't any like dirt, like like we were on a pile of dead leafs. So but yeah, even in like and you know, and then the surrounding area we didn't check. We just checked in like the immediate area. But I went to the truck. He did all the stuff down there, and I watched him from up where I was, and we had this giant it's over there, this giant Milwaukee light that illuminated the whole camp site so he could look and stuff, or so I could see. That's the first thing I reached for when I opened the tent. Yeah, like we felt like they were selling in front of the tent and the Milwaukee light was right out front.

37:39 And the first thing I reached for. Was the light. It was a floodlight. It lit up the entire area down to the boat ramp two hundred yards away. It was very it's a very bright light, and you know, nothing, we didn't see anything. And you know, that was the first thing I did, was look around. And I didn't see any footprints, didn't like, you know, see any like evidence of anyone was there. But he was re enacting. But felt like someone. Was watching me the entire the entire time, because Savannah went up to the car and waited for me to pack up everything. I was like, oh boy, this is a lot to do.

38:19 It wasn't it was mind you, the truck is up that on that. Hand, and the whole time it was like I was, you know, looking around for like a face to pop out or like someone some eyes to glow or like. But yeah, it was almost deafening to the point where like I could see, but like I couldn't even hear. It was like that white noise. It was just like, yeah, it was super weird. That is that is very weird. It's such a it's a wild account because it just recently happened as well. I hope that you so definitely it'll take a while probably to work through it, to decompress from it, but I hope that you are still able to go, you know, into the woods eventually and go camping, but maybe just be aware of what could be happening in certain places, especially out there in Oregon. It can get wild out there.

39:24 Well, I've heard and my mom also, I mean she's always talking about stuff, you know, like missing for one one and like National Park stuff. You know, I know there's some weird stuff that happens, some really bizarre stuff that happens. But I don't know. I guess I wasn't even thinking like Bigfoot in the moment at all. Like in the moment, I was thinking person, not animal. Not animal basically is what I was thinking. And then like you know, getting out of the situation, letting it sink in researching, looking at videos, talking to people, realizing how many like of the same situations happen to people, and it being like Bigfoot related, Like it was just crazy, like that howling we heard, I think that was Bigfoot one hundred percent, like doing that whooping he does. I've heard videos of it sounded I exactly like that, and it almost sounds like a dog and an owl or a person trying to like create like an owl sound that's like not an owl.

40:30 Like it's just weird, right, very scary, And a lot of people actually do report that in their encounters that they'll hear something that sounds like almost a fake owl or it's an owl sound that sounds like it's really really big, and then at the end of the call, it just like isn't able to finish the call like a real owl wood and it gets all messed up. That is something that keeps, uh keeps getting reported to me at least. Actually that's something I've experienced that myself as well. It's freaky. It's freaky as I'll get out. Some people even call it like sound like an eight hundred pound owl or something in the woods. You know, just it's very very weird stuff. But I hope that you guys are able to hopefully make it over to Area fifty eight. There's a lot of cool stuff in there, you know, you see some track casts and learn more about the subject, and that Priscill's got Priscill's got a really good place set up over there. She does a good job. But guys, I want to make sure that you were able to to share everything that you had experience or did you have any other questions for me at all?

41:52 I mean, that was fully our experience. We may not have saw anything, but we felt and heard something. I don't know, I mean, I guess, yeah, Like it sounds like a lot of people in Oakridge have the experience. Do you often talk to people that have those experiences at Hills Creek or near or like what other places like have activity and Oakridge? Well, so I'll tell you, I mean, man, if we want to get weird, like I've had a weird experience in the northern part of Hills Creek where I was drive.

42:37 So I was driving along this is in twenty twenty four and I drove past a pine tree that was covered in vines, and what I saw looked like a silhouette of an eight foot tall sasquatch that then disappeared into the vines. Not even kidding. That's one of the weirdest experiences I've ever had. I've had people that let's see everything from there was a guy I talked to in Oakridge walking his dog out in the woods. The dog all of a sudden became paralyzed, couldn't move, And so sometimes people are like, is it a thing where the Bigfoot can affect the person and how they move using a thing called infrasound. And I've experienced that out in the woods outside of Oakridge, the area where I go to with some local people. I was sitting in a chair at the edge of a meadow.

43:39 So, yeah, it's just a weird area. I will go back to area. I will go to Area fifty eight because I do want to check that out. I kind of want to bring my mom and him obviously and go check that out talk to Priscilla in person. But I don't plan on ever going back to Hills Creek. Sure, yeah, I understand that, Yeah, yeah. Yeah, it's just like I just would like to stay away from that. Obviously, he did not want us in his territory, and I don't want to. I don't want to come back. I mean, guys, I've I've had I've talked to people that won't go on record on the show that have had sightings of not only Bigfoot, but also gnomes and fairies, and like the town is is weird as all get out, Like it's it's totally gravity falls and that can't stress that enough. Like there's a lot of weird like up in the Hot Springs. I've had, Uh, there's a sighting of a thunderbird up in the Hot Springs that I got, and then a lot of like really weird stuff happens in in McCready Hot Springs as well. I don't know if I would actually ever go up to those Hot Springs, to be honest, based on what I've I've heard from people.

44:57 I mean as a teenager all the time. Yeah, and it was it was weird. I guess, I guess I didn't really think it was weird at the time because that was just a teenager it was or whatever. It's just what we did. We'd go to like McCready because it was closer than going to Cougar or like ump car or whatever. But yeah, just wild stuff. But I don't know if I have any questions to you. M. Yeah, it's just it's it's interesting to hear other people's stuff, I think. So I'm just kind of been like listening to other people's stuff. I guess, like, yeah, I was looking forward to talking to asking you like if you've like heard of like that just like that energy, because we didn't see anything right but the foot energy and like the the I guess the best the only note word I know how to use is aura around it.

45:48 It was just like it was malicious. It was it was I was scared and I was wondering if that was just like a known thing in the bigfoot world that people have like a you know, a fear and get out of the area and don't want to be there anymore. Yeah, other than like. An inviting like rather than like oh that's you know cool or you. Know, I a very But then it all it's like one of those things that I put all the pieces together afterwards where I was like, yeah, that makes sense. It makes sense that bagfoot would have some sort of power or energy to keep people away. Yeah, absolutely, I.

46:29 Don't want people in his territory. I think it's so it's not a thing where like people report that all the time, but in situations where there's infrasound usually involved, which is you know, people report getting freaked out, high anxiety, getting scared, and it's usually a thing where they're trying to get you out of the area for some reason from what I found, and that could be for for any different amount of reasons. But uh so not everyone is going to report, you know, we got freaked out, there was a weird energy, but sometimes that is reported right exactly exactly, And that's that's used by you know, a wide variety of you know, not just big foot. I mean there are big predators that use that. I believe tigers, lions, your your big cats are able to use that. So it is used other places in in the uh the animal world as well.

47:45 But yeah, it's it's it's one of those Bigfoot is one of those things where you know there's uh there's not a book to read. You can't just go online and ask all the answers. You kind of have to figure it out as you go along. So if if you guys do start experiencing anything out of the ordinary in the days after this, you know, I would love to hear about it, or if you have any questions, feel free to reach out and I'll try to help point you to the right direction that I can. Yeah, We're definitely gonna make a trip at some point someday during the daytime back out to Oakridge to go to that area fifty eight because I am interested in checking that out and seeing because I didn't even realize, I mean, it was just such like a bigfoot community out there. I didn't realize that it was like a normal thing that a lot of people have experiences out there. She told me that the place was very, very active and that like there's a lot of like experiences people have out there at Hills Creek.
