The Stump Stood Up — And Charged the Boat! | Oregon

Stay with us, all right, Big for Society, You've got the privilege of talking to Chris today. Chris is an individual that reached out after hearing an episode about some things that were happening around Kus Bay. I was very glad to get connected with Chris. He's having a lot of really interesting things happen around Coos Bay area on the coast of Oregon. But welcome to the show, Chris. How are you doing, sir, I'm doing great, Deremiah, thanks for having me. Chris. I want to make sure that you have the time to share. We were talking a little bit before the show started recording, and there's a lot to go over in this one, so I want to make sure you have the time to share what you've experienced and what you're experiencing now, so you'll feel free to take us back as far as you need to.

0:59 As a kid in the seventies had all the normal interest in things like that with you know, in Search of and that that's incredible show from you know, Bionic Man when he fought against Andrea and Giant dressed up a Sasquatch and even Star Wars and Chewbaca and everything like that, normal seventies kids stuff. A few years later, my grandparents moved from the Bay Area to Willow Creek, and my grandfather was a principal of Hoopa Schools up there and then retired superintendent of the Hoop of Schools.

1:42 So I would go visit and visit the gift store of the souvenir store, and I really kind of got more into at that point. Then you know, life happened. You kind of lose interest in things, and I started playing music, and interest kind of went all over the place, and I just sort of forgot about that part until oh, it must have been I was in my twenties and I started getting more into fishing, and I was at that time I was from the Bay Area in California, and I would fish the Russian River and a friend and I were fishing this area that we normally went to.

2:24 We had the hike out of the parking area, so it was just trails on that side of the river. The other side of the river was just a hill that went up in forest. This is all redwoods, you know. And you know, I hadn't had the experiences at that point with sasquatch or anything I and it really was out of my mind. So when this event happened, that's not the first thing I thought of. But now thinking back, I'm pretty sure that was. I've had a couple of things like this, and I'll explain them. So we were fishing. My friend was downstreamed from me, within shouting distance, but you know, you give each other space while you're steel at fishing. And suddenly the other side of the river was just like brush, thick brush. You couldn't see the shore on the other side. And then I just went to you know, redwood forest, which is somewhat open forest compared to like the forest here in the Oregon Ghosts.

3:22 There's space pretty far apart the trees. But suddenly something started breaking trees and thrashing, so loud got our attention real quick. That's something that we normally don't hear in that area. You know, there's black bear there, and and pigs, wild pigs and mountain lion, but and sometimes the pigs will make noise, but not like this. This is trees snapping. My friend and I looked each other with you know, eyes wide open, slackjaw, like what is that? And it was right across from me. It was right across from me.

4:05 My buddy goes, oh, maybe it's pigs, and I'm like, I don't know, I've never heard a pig snapping. Giant trees. They just kept going. It was just not stopping, and you could kind of see some slight movement over in the brush, but not you couldn't really get a good look of it because it was just thick brush. So it just kept going and we were trying to fish through it, and finally it kind of freaked us out enough to where maybe we should move Tom's tree a little bit, and and we moved. But this was just like trees snapping, Like I have nothing I've ever heard at that point, you know, And at the time, sasquatch was not on my mind at all. I just thought it was something very weird. Looking back, I have a feeling that's what it. So that was that event, and that was probably in the late nineties something like that.

5:09 Then in about a decade later or So I was vacationing up. I was on sort of by the Sonora Pass in the Sierra's highway went away above the town of Strawberry, camping at this camp site up there. It was it's a like a state run, I think campside or county or something like that. And there was just a couple there was like a camp host, you a couple of people close to the camp host, and we had this whole back section of the campground to ourselves. And it was on the Stanislaus River, almost similar to the story before where the other side I was. I was basically camped at this crook of the river to bend in the river, and I was trout fishing, doing really good, catching a bunch of trout across the river.

6:07 Was just it went up this mountain up into the Sierra, straight up, you know, way up into the into the mountains. There was nothing there. Uh, this one didn't have a bunch of brush on the edge of source. She could see in her a forest, you know. Had a great day fishing. So that night I was sitting at the campfire and like I said, this whole section of the campground there was no one there except for us. Well, I'm sitting there by myself, you know, holding the fire. Then all of a sudden, I can hear what sounded like coming from way up the mountain, something coming down the mountain, and it was coming right towards me. It was up ways away. It was you could tell it was pretty far, but it sounded huge, and it was breaking trees as it came, and the limbs and snapping and craping and then going through a brush, and it was it was coming right towards me. Like I said, at this time, you know, Sasquatch wasn't really in my paradigm.

7:10 It was just I'd sort of forgot about my interest of it, and I had experienced other things at this time, like UFOs and things like that, but I wasn't really thinking about sasquatch. But it kept coming down and it got closer and closer and closer, and I can just hear it coming and it sounded like, I don't know, like an ellison coming through the trees or something. It was. It sounded bigger than elk. I've heard elk going through trees and things like that. This was actually breaking stuff as it came, and it sounded by beetle came down right towards me. It stopped. Maybe I don't know how far i've I just would be a complete guess. I guess of it. Maybe a few hundred sheet four hundred she away from me, five hundred. It just all of a sudden stopped and the forest literally, like you said, you always hear how the forest goes quiet, The forest went quiet. Alls I could hear was the creek. Well, it's the upper standards lost, so it's the size of the of a creek. I was like, can hear it was the water, and it just seemed to go dead, like overly silent, creepy. It was creepy. So I just it got quiet, and I but I sleeped out. But I was looked like, just kind of brushing aside up ay whatever. Maybe it was a bunch of elk or something.

8:42 I don't know. I don't even know if there's elk up in that area, to be hoest with you. But the deer, a bunch of deer or a huge bear or something, I don't know. I just kind of brushed aside, kept hel holding fire, and about twenty minutes later I had forgotten about it. By this point, I'm just sort of okay whatever. Twenty minutes later, a huge snap, and it was right across this creek, within like fifty feet. It was right across, and it was directly across from me at this point, so I it kind of startled me, and I got my Maglie and I shone right across.

9:29 And if it was a bear or a deer, I would be able to see it. I'd go with bear and deer. And it's not like they hide behind trees. When you shine a right out of them, you can you can usually catch them in your light. There's nothing. I'm shining it, and alls I could see is these huge trees. I don't know if they're dug fur cequoia up there. They're not red woods, I don't think. But all I can see is this, you know, big spaces between these trees, and there's really nowhere for anything to hide. So I'm like, that's weird. You know, I've never heard of a bear hiding behind a tree, and this is okay, that's strange. So I kind of and nothing. It just stops, So I put my mag light down, continue on holding fire.

10:16 Another five minutes or so, go by again. A huge snap, you know, and at the time, Like I said, sasquatch was not on my mind. Now I know that's sort of their behavior. They'll do that. So this time I got my Maglie. That's pretty quick. There's nothing, same thing. I'm going around, I'm scanning across, no eyes shine, no nothing, and I'm okay, little this is really weird. This continued on for maybe four or five times, and it would it was almost like it would wait for me to let my guard down and do it again. And I got to the point where I was leaving my mag light in my hand with my finger on the button.

11:05 I'm like, I'm gonna catch this, whatever this is. And the last time it was the same thing. It a huge crack. I got my maglight on in just like a split second and there was nothing. There was nothing, so that one really they crept me out, and it was almost like something was telling me to go to bed. I didn't hear words I said go to bed, but just I don't know if it was my get or if something was telling me in my mind go to bed. And I just went, Okay, I'm going to bed, and I was I was a little bit freaked out. I didn't know what was going on. But it was very very strange, and I, to be honest with you, I went to bed with my hatchet in my you know, for chopping wood, and I just laid there. But I instantly fell asleep, which was pretty strange. So the next morning I wake up tell my ex wife about it.

12:06 She goes, oh, I don't know, you know, she isn't take anything of it. I go to the camp post and I say, hey, you know, do you do you guys get a lot of bear here and he goes, well, to be honest with you know, every once in a while we get them. But then what happens is the fishing game traps them and sends them over kidding you sebity side of the mountain. So he goes, He goes, I've been camp host for you know, several years, and I've seen like one bear and I go huh, and he asked why. I told him what happened, and he just started and gave me this look where he raised his eyebrows and his eyes got big. He didn't say anything, he just gave me this look. At the time, I didn't understand it. I just went okay, and I said, okay, we'll have a nice day. Looking back, I think he knew that there was something and weird going on in that area. And I've looked, you know, on the different websites and there are quite a few experiences up in that area. So that happened. You know. There was another event on that saying tripp on Bishop Creek Canyon where my ex wife thought something was coming down the side of the mountain during the day while I was fishing.

13:23 She couldn't explain it. So it's kind of weird, you know. It's almost like something was following us one hundreds somebody else away from each other. So I didn't think anything of it. I wasn't thinking sasquatch at the time. I just knew something was very weird. Looking back, I had a cheeling, that's what it was. So, you know, went on with my life and no other experiences like that. I you know, like I said, I've had a lot of UFO sidings in my life, but nothing like that. You know. When I was growing up, my mom had nightcarers. She would there was a shadow person or being in the room. Everyone thought that was just you know, just dreams.

14:09 But I saw it one night, and I saw it a few times after that, so we had these experiences in the family. So that was all down the day area. Right before we left the Bay area, we went to the spot on the ocean up there in snow mc County, big huge redwood groves right up off of the cliffs, and we went in there and it was just had this feeling. At this time, I started kind of watching some of the Sasquad shows on television. Some of them are a little goofy, some of them were better than others.

14:51 And I was watching things on YouTube and things like that, so I was starting to kind of get an interest in it again. So I went to this area. We just felt like this area was super quiet and had a weird feeling. My wife I've been married to for almost ten years, she you could say, she has some abilities, and she felt something in that in that area and I did too, actually, so we left plums and some peanut butter just to see if anything would happen. That was right before we moved up here to the Ques Bay area. We actually left that and didn't go back because we end up moving so fast during the fire or anything, so we come up here. Nothing happened at that spot at that time. We move up here, and I'm kind of getting more and more interested in it, and it was probably My wife had a near death experience here. She almost passed away. She says she has health problems. And at that time I was sort of exploring, uh, you know my indigenous bloodline. You know, my grandfather's from Turtle Mountain Reservation in North Dakota. My cousin uncle was

16:23 like us, we're Algibwa and Dakota, but my cousin is also half Lakota. I'm standing rock and I saw this kind of he got me into praying in that old way, and he's a blessed pipe and drum maker and he's got some pretty strong psychic abilities too, and it comes from our grandmother's side. But you know, he got me into this, and I started praying in the way and learning language and song and playing drum and all this. Well, I started having these dreams when I moved up here, and it was basically a Sasquatch person. But it woke me up out of a dead sleep and I was almost I was basically in tears. This being would seem like an old shaman if you will. He was rust colored, kind of orange auburn colored, I guess big. He was sitting next to me in the screen and he told me his name and to this gay, this is the most profound but simple thing, and I've kind of it's kind of been confirmed that it's real. He's and I'm gonna I'm gonna put it out there his name, and I think they kind of want me to say this.

17:55 He said, my name is Ayes. I am I, I am us And I snapped out of it, out of the dream to that, and I was like blown away. I was in tears. It was like so simple but yet so profound, like I am I, I am us. And I don't know if that's literally the name or just more of a metaphor, but it was mind blowing to me, and it was so real. It was it wasn't like a normal dream. It was like I was there. So that happened right around my life's near death experience time where other strange things were happening in the home while she was actively dying, where we didn't know she was dying. Things were there was an horb in the home that looked like a light bulb floating through them the room. There was knocking on the wall, something was going up to my guitar and strumming the strings. There was so much activity in the home while she was dying, and this is around that time. So she healed, everything became more stable, you know, there was the things in the home. The activity was sort of winding down a little bit. Around that time, my mom retired and she

19:26 was still in California and we had her move in with us. Well, my aunt and uncle came visited us to visit my mom, and this was oh, four years ago or so, and we were taking them along the coast and showing them spots, and we went to this pretty I'm not going to stay the spot because I don't want a bunch of people there disturbing things. But we're up to a spot up here that's you know, it's pretty crowded, and there's cliffs and there's all this other stuff. And we were there at a spot we normally went to to enjoy the ocean and the cliffs and the rocks and everything. Well, there's something. There's this rock out in the ocean. It's like past the tilt beds.

20:14 It's a big rock and there's a bunch of big rocks, you know, the Oregon coasts is just full of them. There's this big flat rock out there, and when we looked at it, we noticed what looked like a large dark stump in the middle of this rock. And I know that sometimes there's like trees on these deal pieces of old land that had been washed away and stuff like that. So I go, oh, maybe there's a stump there. But my wife and Aaron I don't remember there being a stumped at this spot. And we're all looking, you know, and this day, my aunt had just given us this really nice camera, and so we just happened to have that camera. So we start kind of like focusing on I have my son now and I'm filming it. I'm like, I swear I see this thing moving. It looks like this big, huge stump on this rock. We're filming it both on this camera and on my phone, and at this time we noticed there was a fishing boat. It was really strange. There was a whale directly out from the rock, very close to it that kept breaching, and then off to the right was this fishing boat that kept creeping closer towards this rock. And then I realized that this thing is moving more and it keeps kind of looking towards this boat that was creeping in towards it, and we focus on this boat and you could see

21:47 like the people on the boat had binoculars and they're looking at this thing on the rock and there's people everywhere, but no one's noticing this. There's people walking by, no one's noticing it. And as a matter of fact, you know, there was one guy that walked up and he goes, what are you guys looking at and I and we say, well, there's something on this rock that looks I don't know, it looks like something. We think it's moving, and it's big and it's dark. I don't know what it is, you know, has it stood up or anything. And he looks at and he kind of shrugs his shoulders and he says, ah, it's a stump. He walks off. So it's almost like, you know, perfect example of people see what they want to see. But so this it gets crazy.

22:33 So you know, my aunt and uncle are kind of losing interest and they're kind of going back to the car, and everyone's kind of getting ready to go, but my wife and I are still standing there watching this thing because and filming it. After a while, it just doesn't move. So my wife puts the camera back in the car. We're all kind of getting ready to go. I have my camera in my pocket. At this point, this boat keeps getting closer and closer to what is on the stump, and you can see all of a sudden, this this this thing starts moving more. Then I'm aware it stands up and I yell, it's it's moving. It stood up.

23:19 Everyone comes running back over. At this point, all happened so fast. I didn't think to try to reach in my pocket and grab my phone again. It just happened so fast. But this boat was really getting close to this thing, and it looks like it got agitated. To me, it stood up, and it was huge. It was so tall, and it starts pacing back and forth on the rock, from one edge to the the next. And this is a big long rock. It's pacing back and forth. And what I what I relate that to is there's this looking back and I've looked and I watched the US.

24:00 There's some pretty famous footage that was filmed on a VHS I think in the nineties. I'm sure you've probably seen it, where a group of boy scouts come up to what looks like could be a nesting area or something like this, and they're filming and the kids are playing, and there's a couple of adults and they pan up the mountain and what looks like a sasquatch at the top of this mountain, pacing back and forth. I don't know if you've seen that footage. Yes, that's the Marble Mountain footage. That's what you're talking about, y, Yes, And it's pacing back and forth. It looked like that. To my eyes.

24:45 It reminded me of what that thing was doing, like almost like waving its arms a little bit like mad. It looked like that. I don't know if that footage is legit or not, but it looked like that. So it did that for a second, paste back and forth, and it was very tall. It didn't look super bulky, but it looks so tall, and it was jet black. Well, it jumps in the water. This is where it gets really weird. It jumps in the water. And this is out in the ocean that you know, pass the help beds.

25:27 I don't know how deep this water is there, but it jumped in and it looked like it was standing up in the water. I don't know if it was floating, but it was about chest high in the in the water, and it goes towards this boat, and it starts pushing water away from it like a motor boat does when it takes off. Literally the tide is coming in towards it, and it's pushing water off of it as it goes towards this boat, and it starts rushing towards this boat. It then dips under the water towards the boat like it's swimming towards the boat, and the boat just takes off at breakdeck speed. The boat takes off south, just instantly goes ticks off, does this huge turn so it's way farther out in the in the ocean, and just bolts back north. It was bizarre, this thing, and it just disappeared at that point, and and we're standing there like what did we just watch? And we didn't film it.

26:37 We're like, ah, but we got it all before that, and you could see there's pitchers. I have pictures of it. I've even like sharpened up with turned like the you know definition way up and you can see an outline. It looks like it barely has a neck, like it's you know, like its head goes right into its traps. It looks like it has big shoulders. It looks like it has sort of a cone shaped head. A little bit not not big time, but you could see it. You could see it almost turned towards this boat, and you could and then in these pictures we have a boat in it too. It was bizarre. Does the pictures of the boat have any identifying features like boats sometimes too?

27:21 I don't know. It have to look. I think it probably probably not because of the distance it was from the camera, but you could see that the guys are on the edge of the boat looking at it in these pictures. That Wow, it was wild. It was completely wild. And just the timing of how it was just a little bit after I had that crazy dream and then that happened. And then, you know, my aunt and uncle didn't believe in any of this stuff until this. Now my aunt's like totally into it, you know, and she told her her grandson's about it, and they're all hyped about it and they all want to go check it out.

28:04 And so that happened. Then we decided around that time to okay, they're in this area, this is a pretty well known area, but there's a lot of deep forest work, you know, just right off the road in that area. So we found a spot. We decided, well, let's try it. You know, I know that the gifting thing seems to work with some people, and it seems like maybe I had this stream for a reason. So we decided to start basically a gifting area. And we found back in this area the stump. It was perfect. It was back in behind the road and back at you know, you could find it if you went back there searching for it, but no one's just going to walk by and see it kind of thing. Well, we start doing that and at first there's not much happening except for you. We take picture of it so we would know exactly where everything was. We noticed things were getting moved around. Some of the first things I left was a piece of pipestone that my cousin uncle had given me. Some crystals and a couple of marbles and things like that. A little handheld like music device that you could make sounds with. Well, on my fiftieth birthday, I think it was actually on my fiftieth birthday, we went and this is the first day everything was gone, and they had left something in

29:38 its place, and it was like, Okay, what's weird. That's on my birthday. It had been a few months when they hadn't really caken anything, they'd moved stuff, but so on my birthday they everything was gone and they had left some things there. And some of the things that they have left for us have strangely lined up with people that we would meet in the future. I know it sounds bizarre and weird, but it's true. So one of the things they left was a hand hand blown glass owl. They had a little cracked wing, but it was placed very carefully next to it. Another thing they left was this like a brooch in the shape of like the star. It's like cosmetic jewelry or something, but it was covered in dirt, like it had been packed in dirt. But it's like a fake pearl in the middle with ryan stones going out where the you know, the shang parts of the star are. I didn't think anything of it. I just thought lost, kind of cool and different. So we kept it, and you know, later on these things lined up, like one of them was like six months later, and not one was over a year later. We have them in our window sill then let me received quite a bit of things. We have a box full of other things, but these things we

31:11 left out because we felt like they were different from the other things they left us. So this the owl lines up with someone we met later. My wife's grandmother had passed away and she had wanted she found someone online that would that made jewelry, and she wanted to have this peace commission to memorialize our grandmother. And the day she was coming to drop it off, this lady, I realized that this lady did also did She did glass blowing, and that's what this piece was. It was a piece of gold blown glass in the shape of whatever it was. And I went, wait a minute, I have a epiphany. Right when she's pulling up, I went, could you think she made the foul? And my life's like, no way. I'm like, we should ask just in case.

32:08 Well she's in here and she, you know, given the jewish of my wife, and we said, hey, can we ask you something? You didn't happen to make this, did you? And I pick it up and she goes, yeah, did you get it at the shop downtown? Well, no, we've found it in the forest. We didn't want to tell her right with where we found it and how we got it, and she went well in the forest like yeah, so now we're friends with this person, come to find out, and she's and she knows now the story and she's it's lining up with her too, because she does all this sort of macabre art oddity is like audit and she goes blung last and she had to taxidermy and things like that. Well for a couple of years now at her house way out in the forest, something has been leaving completely cleaned, bleached animal bones lined up on our front porch for a couple of years now and she uses them for her oddity artwork that she sells at like fairs and gags like that. So that was one of the connections. And I thought that was pretty strange,

33:38 like wow, okay, so and I've heard of these things before happening like this. It's a little bit more on the what you call the wo woo side. But to me, you know, a couple of things. I think that's just sort of on discovered science that we're not really quite aware of yet. It's also what indigenous people all across the world are I'm talking about for years and years and years all part of what they know. It's just part of nature and part of science. It's just a different side of it than just the physical. So I think these things are connected and it's some kind of there's something to do with consciousness, I believe with all these different things. But that's just my opinion and from my experiences. So the other thing, the little starbrooch. About a year later, my mom was having health issues and I, you know, I caregive for both my mother and my mom.

34:37 You know, I had to retire being a butcher for years to do these things. But it was becoming a lot at that time because they were both so sick. So we had a caregiver from an outside company come in to help with my mom, you know, and she's actually half year rock from down by you know, Willow Creek area, more west though, but she lives up here, and you know, she'd been coming for a couple of months and we had sort of talked to her about reconnecting with that part of her of her life and her family, and we got her to do it. She was writing letters to her dad and almost all these things and things were she was feeling better about her life because of that. I said it. You know, it's important.

35:30 You know these It's important to remember who you are, explore who you are, especially if it's you know, the indigenous side. A lot of these indigenous family you go back just a couple of generations. Because of assimilation and things, you don't even know the real history of that part of the family. Like on the family tree, it just stops where basically those that part of the family tree a lot of times starts where they are assimilated, when they started going to Indian school and all this. So I said, it's important, you know. She did it. Well, she shows up one day wearing this ring and it's an exact replica of this brooch. I'm like, whoa, okay, and we even got a picture of it. And I said, okay, this is for you. I go, now I know why they gave this to me. This is for you. And she went, wait a minute, she goes, something told me to wear this ring today. I don't know what it was.

36:28 She said, goes, I never wear this ring, but something told me to wear it to your house. I well, this is why. I said, it's yours. This is a gift from the Harry folk to you. And she was like blown away, and I'm like, okay, it makes sense now why they gave us that. So there's these things connections that happen later on and it's just wild stuff, and you know, it's There's been other things that have been very strange too. Another connection with my wife's grand mother. We had this yard statue that had an angel on it and on the base of it was a bunch of different crystals, especially Courtz crystals lined up a different Courtz crystals that were embedded in the base sort of like a cement kind of steel. One of the days that we were coming back from their gifting area, my wife brings up, you know, it's kind of weird, but that statue disappeared in the way it did from our yard, now what And she goes, yeah, you know, we bought it with us from California, and I'd kind of forgot about it because there was just so much happening with my life's health issues and everything. Well, it was sort of right in our side yard, right off the door front door, and I think at the time when she told me about it, you know, because we were from

37:59 California and there was a lot of issues with crime down there and I just assumed that someone stole it. And she goes, no, it disappeared peace by piece. I know, what do you mean? She goes, first, it was like the top part of this statue disappeared, then the whole angel disappeared, and it was just the base left with the with the crystals. Then peace by piece, the crystals disappeared out of the base and I went what and she goes yeah. Then one day just the base was gone, and I go, well, that's weird. And they're on the side of town here where it's there's just like no crime over here. It's so quiet and it's not like someone.

38:42 I don't think that's what happened. As a matter of fact, I know it's not what happened because of this incident. So she goes, yeah, when we get back home, we were coming back from the gifting spot. When we get back home, I will show you exactly where it was, or it'll like jaw your memory. I said, okay, you know. So we pull up and she goes over to a point where it was, and in its place this huge pine cone. And we don't have big pine cones here. We have these dug fur cones that are like these tiny, long, skinny things. This was like a pond of rose of pine cone, big ball shaped, you know, bigger than a softball.

39:26 And it was exactly where the statue was, and it wasn't there when we went to the spot, and she's like what. She picks it up and goes what is this? And I'm like, okay, that's weird. So and then I start researching and these pine cones aren't from this area. They'res not. I think maybe the Cascades maybe has some hundreds of pines, maybe some spots further down the coast, but everything here that I've ever seen in the five six years and we've lived here these tiny little uh dun fur cones. So that was weird. We kept it and we said, okay, well maybe it's connected to it.

40:11 And we noticed there's possibly a couple of hairs in it, so I said, okay, that's pretty strange. So that original gifting spot we felt one day was compromised. We went back in there and all of a sudden, there's around the area is a bunch of marked trees like maybe Department of Forestry or something went in their orange spray paint on the on the on some of the trees around it. So we said, okay, I think that might be compromised. Maybe they saw it when they were back there.

40:52 So we I basically held prayer that night and I'm gonna say it, and I go, okay, there's gonna be experiment. Let's see if they hear me. And I said, I put it out there, you know, to me, I called them Schiatanka elder brother. But I held prayer and I said, okay, I think that spot's compromised. So we're going to try to find a new spot. We'll be in there to check and see if there's still anything left on the stump. But I feel it has been compromised and we need to find a new spot. It'll be in the general area, but for their back keeper in the forest. We went the next morning. Everything is gone from the stump. The back of the stump, you know, like when trees get cut.

41:43 There's that sort of knob where the tree fell, the piece that sticks up still on the flat part that was snapped off of the back of the stump, which you couldn't do with your hands. It wasmpletely broken off, and they had used that to scrape all the moss off the top of that stump that pictures that too, and you can see where they just scraped it off, like almost saying like this is done. And then that piece was left next to it. So that was wild and I said, okay, I guess they heard a few weeks later, we found a new spot further back in this area, and this is a spot where maybe it's an old tree that got hit by lighting, because it's sort of split. There's four pieces that still go up and then it's like a hollowed out area in the middle, so where it's really hidden, and we when we leave things, we covered up with pieces of broken moss and tree, so you just it's completely hidden back there. And they started taking stuff from there. Well that just a few weeks ago, or maybe a couple months ago. We go back to that area and everything's gone again, and they've been taking things regularly. They take a lot more than they have given us, but we've still received things. We

43:16 go back to that spot and there are five pine cones that matched the one that was on our front yard, and there's none of these trees in the area. They're just not there. And they left us these matching pine cones, and they look like they're from the same batch. It's bizarre. One of them looks like almost like it was partially eaten or something. I don't know if they eat them or not, I don't know. But so now we have in our windows, so five more matching giant pine cones aren't from the area that were gifted to us. So there's been a lot of that kind of events and experiences.

44:06 I've heard things back there while I was back there at the gifting area. What sounded like a grumble. But it was strange because my wife could shield something at the time, but she didn't hear it, and I it's almost like I didn't hear well. I heard it in my ears, but it sounded like it was coming from all around me. It's the only way I could explain it. Like it wasn't like from a certain area. It was like a sound that surrounded me that I felt hard to explain. And it was like this very low pitched grumble sort of overall, almost like it was saying something but in a different language, and very very deep, very very deep. That there's been instances where they've left, like Stix jammed into our ei, the crack in the door in our car when we go back to the car.

45:11 Things like that. We've heard a call from there. One time. We hadn't been there for a while and we showed up, and right when we go into the forest in this area, we heard a whoop from back in the forest when we were going in that area. So I don't know if they were like happy to see us or what it was, but there was that another incident in that same general area. I was show man a music video. I played music. I grew up playing punk rock and I still do it, but at this time, I was sort of incorporating some indigenous vibes into it. And I was show man this music video for it, and you know, I went back there. I did some smudge, I played my drum, you know, my dear drum. I played some woodwind because it's incorporated in the song. And we were just filming those parts and there was a huge mushroom, giant mushroom, and I said, well, it'd be cool if we get that in the shot and I'll smudge right above it, you know, And we were doing that, and this is on video, and I left it in the video.

46:24 It's a very end of the music video. I just left it in there as sort of an Easter egg. Something called out from the forest, and at the time, it's right when I was smudging, and it sounded like a call out, like an indigenous call out, like a Native American call out, but it really reverberated and echoed through the whole forest. It was very loud. There's no one back there, And in the video, I said, did you hear that? And life goes Yeah, I said, that sounded Native, like an she knows it kind of did. But now I'm thinking about it. It just was so loud.

47:05 I think it might have been one of them, sort of because I consider them, you know, they have clans and tribes, I believe. I think they're just they live in that old way like indigenous people did before Europeans came, but even older. Maybe they taught Indigenous people things I don't know. I've heard stories where they you still hold fires together and hold ceremony and things like this, and I've heard stories where, actually, I think on your show, I think I heard someone talking about when they hold ceremony, they show up, and I've heard these things in other places. It just came up yesterday. The episode's not out yet, it's very very interesting.

47:48 Yeah, so I think there's a connection to the indigenous part too, And it seems like, you know, I've heard other stories from this area. There's other things that have happened, you know. I told this story about the rock to the lady at the grocery store they'll be chat with sometimes, and she told me a story of one of these logging areas where there's a logging camp and somebody stays there overnight to make sure that the equipment doesn't get you know, ripped off or anything like that. Well, she had had an experience where all of a sudden, there's all these they're basically yelling, throwing things at the at the trailer all night long, rocking the trailer, hitting the side of it. She's scared before that, she didn't believe in those kinds of things. It scared her, you know, scary thing and powerful, powerful beings. Sounds like maybe they were not. As the logging happened all night long until it got lied out and it stopped, she finally realizes they're gone. She goes out in the front door of this trailer and outside of the trailer, all the way surrounding the trailer are all these sticks, broken sticks stuck into the ground, and that's something that I don't know

49:19 if that's a normal thing for them, but it is here. I always can tell whether they're in an area because you'll see these sticks stuck into the ground everywhere. It's a thing that they do. Here. I've even seen them. This is pretty wild, like these stumps, you know, like where they had cut trees down a long time ago. I saw one where it's like this huge limb that was jammed down so hard with force into the stump, like something with so much force drove it down into the stump. So there's this stump, and then sticking up in the wood of the stump is another limbs sticking straight up. I've seen that. I've seen something similar up by the Umpqua River, a spot we stopped stop that normally up there. The strange piles of rocks with that are in very peculiar patterns. And another stump up that area where there's a bunch of little sticks stuck into the top of this stump. And even seeing what looks like riding on the area by the I think it's by the side of Slaw River. There's like this one little area where there's like some sort of electrical panel

50:50 or something like that that's sort of just next to the river. And there was all these what looked like glypts next to me. You'll see those up here too, a lot of what looks like and then there's these glyphs and piles of stones that were on top of this panel. And then what looked like some of them was taking a stick and like writing something on It didn't look like English, it looked like symbols. I've seen that recently. We started another gifting area to the north of us. The other ones to the south. This was to the north. It's at the end of this road that turns into a logging road. Nothing up there, just mountains and it's sort of more up inside inland a little bit, not right on the coast. And found this old logging road that's sort of overgrown that hasn't been used in years. And what walked up it found this big giant boulder in this creek. And on the other side of this boulder were these two sort of flat rocks that were leaned up against well, one was leaned up against the back of this boulder and one was down I said, well, that might be a good area.

52:10 I'll use those little flat rocks. I'll leave something on the back side of this boulder and put the flat rocks right up against it. You would never think, I mean, no one's back there anyway. But you would just walk by this huge boulder and look on the other side of you'd have to think to look back there. I went back in just a few days after leaving a couple of gifts, and as soon as I walked back up to it, the one flat rock that was down, not leaned up against the boulder, went back to its original spot. And I went, oh, okay, very just in the exact spot that I found it originally, and the other one was leaned up where it originally was. Two and I looked and everything was gone. That was just like a day or two later on the first time.

53:00 So I'm like, wow, that was quick. Okay, So we have two two areas now, But I really feel like this area. They're everywhere. I feel like if there's a we've seen there's a trail that's right along the bay here that people will use all the time. I've seen that. We have a picture of this too. Footprints bare footprints coming up out of the water up into the brush and it's you can't really get down this area. But when the when the tide was low, you could see the mud, you know, and it was a single line.

53:43 Like they say that, like we walked side to side sort of, and it looks like they're walking a tightrope. That's what these footprints were doing coming up out of the bay. So I think they use the waterways here. You know, there's people have waste her traps out here, and there's all kinds of different fish in this you know, in this system here there's salmon, there's shellfish, there's the cockles, there's so I think they that's a big thing here for them for their food source, along with all the deer that are here up in the mountains and everything else and buries everywhere. But it seems this area there's a lot of activity. A couple a few months ago, right before wintertime was in fall. We have another friend who was my my wife's mentor when she first started going into her abilities. Let's basically say this lady was sort of teaching her and this she's I think patchy a quarter apachee, but she's down in southern California. She called up my wife and said, and she doesn't really so much believe in sasquatch, but something was coming to her.

55:03 And this lady is extremely gifted. She's worked with police departments down there and everything for crime, extremely gifted. She told my wife to tell me that they are waiting for me to go camping by myself out out there. And I said, oh, okay, And you know, I told me, and I go, well, that's going to be kind of weird, but okay, if that's what they want, I believe that this what she's saying. So I went out and I camped for a few days in this private camping area that sort of backs up to the Coastal Range sort of right off up the up from the ocean a little bit, but it's right with the hills of the coast Range start. And that's a private campground. And this was the time of year where there was only one other person in this whole big camping area, and they were towards the front. I was in the back, and these people just came in for the night and then left the next morning. But so I was. I went out and I fasted. I just chok a tiny bit of water in case, I got a little bit thirsty, tried my best to not drink any water, didn't meet me food, and I just held fire. I brought my drum, I brought my guitar, I sang, I played drum, I held prayer and it was phenomenal. I had, you know, I had, you know, huge birds landing above me, these trees,

56:38 eagles and uh, I think it was a herring hearing and just it was phenomenal. And I could hear the elk rooting against the trees. I could just and I can hear them bugling. It was amazing. So that first night I fell asleep and I didn't have a tent with me, and it was kind of sort of misting. So I just said, well, I just I'll sleep in the car, I guess, and I leave the windows down and do my best to get some rest. And so that night, same thing. I have this weird dream. And I've been having these dreams since that first one word.

57:22 I've had one family of all black ones come to me and say thank you for adding us to your prayer. We hear you every time. And it was like a family, the little ones that were like chucked up in these trees, all shy. It seemed like I was talking to a man. I've had that. I've had other ones where they show me that they can shape shift. Like I've had really strange dream where I can see a group of them coming and they're tall, skinny black ones and they're kind of coming through the bush and as they come out, they're walking past me, they shape shift into humans. I don't know if they could do I have no idea, But then the dream that they were showing and they were doing that, and they were but they were really tall, European looking, long blonde haired, kind of goofy looking humans, which was really strange to me, like that makes no sense.

58:27 But the woman says he can do this if we want to, and I just went okay, and I woke up to that. You know. But when I was camping, similar thing. A big, tall, blonde, long haired European guy but he was very tall, walks by me in this dream that I was having. All of a sudden, it shakes me out of the dream where it's just him and he's walking by me, sort of smile on his face. He sits down in front of me and then starts morphing, and they're a Sasquatch, I snap out of the dream right there. It was bizarre. I snap out of it, and I'm like, WHOA, what the heck? Can I go?

59:10 Are they here? You know? And there was nothing at that second outside or anything. But just about an hour later, I look over and to my right, I see red eyes and they're at ground level. When I see them, they're on the ground, but all I see is that was so dark out there. But as soon as I see and they slowly raise up to about eight foot off the ground and go to the right and just spear behind the trees, and I said, oh, they are here, okay. So and it was close to me, probably thirty forty feet.

59:58 Didn't see anybody because it was so dark, but I clearly saw what looked like electric red eyes. I mean it looked like electricity in those eyes, so like electric, looking like nothing in nature. It was. It was strange. And I've heard that, you know, said they can have that. Well I saw it with my own eyes. So I had that experience. The next night, nothing happened. It rained all night, but yeah, they were there. They were there. I tried to leave gifts for them that night. They didn't take anything, no movement on that. But I had that strange dream and I saw their eyes. So and it's all in this general area all King's County, you know, whether it's south or east or north of Kings Bay itself, but it's in Kings County, you know. I don't know if you've seen that. What's the what's the movie documentary Flash of Beauty, Paranormal Bigfoot? Oh? Absolutely, so the story of the guys that saw they were in by Coquiel.

1:01:16 Outside of Coquiel, they were going to work and they saw one on the side of the road that turned into an orange, first a ball and then a square and then shot off. I know exactly that area. Wow. I trained the lay of that area because they said it was right by this camp ground outside this area. I'm actually actually matched up. I've founded on Google Earth. I go, oh, yeah, okay, I know that spot. So it's that's right over the hill from us. It's literally we've driven out out in that area and it's we've seen all kinds of evidence of their broken trees and stick stuff in the ground. That's just you know, all's over the over the hill from us. So that's all in this area too. There's a lot of activity out here.

1:02:06 It's absolutely fascinating. I mean, first, thank you for sharing some really really personal things that you've experienced over the years. Regarding this, thanks for letting me get off my chest. I have not shared this with anyone except for close family and a couple of friends. But I think it was time for me to share. They kind of they kind of put that into me that it's time to share. I feel like they're reaching out to certain people that are ready for it. I guess I don't know, but it seems to be happening. That is something that I hear every once in a while on this show, and I don't know if I've ever mentioned it publicly, but there are certain times when people that I've talked to, sometimes with the Native American background, I'll be like, why did you reach out to me?

1:03:04 And they're like, well, because of the spirits told me to. And that does happen with with psychic people as well. Well. Of course they're they're referring to different things, but it pretty much something is saying that and this is just hypothetical, but something is saying for certain people to reach out, now is the time. And yeah, things are happening interesting. Yeah, yeah, I think that it's they want people to talk about these things. Now it's gotten to a point, I guess, you know, with whatever is happening in the world, and you know, I think that the forest and the lands and the waters, you know, it's I think they're wanting to spread awareness about how important these things are and that we're just an extension of the Earth and we're basically the Earth's children, you know. And I believe that's sort of I believe they have spirituality and it seems like much deeper than we do. But that's just kind of the feeling that I'm getting, and I do believe there's some sort of connection to consciousness with all of these things. Along with my UFO experiences, I've had wild UFO experiences. They've been right over me. And there was a time when my mom was real sick a couple of years ago that it was like every night, every other night, they were out here, kind of reminding me of like what's happening

They were here all the time, and that's kind of why I started putting my music out by myself, you know, I was in punk bands and stuff in California, and I had I had kind of given up on it because my wife's health and everything. And I had an experience where I was out walking the dog and there was a light above me, right above me, and at that time I had seen so much and didn't startle me. I actually pointed at it and said, gotcha. And as I did that, it disappeared like it was almost playing with me. But as I was walking in I almost caught myself talking to myself under my breath, saying, Okay, I will put my music out. I will do it.

1:05:21 I just have to figure out the technology behind it. I have to start and scratch. I will do what I promised, And I went, who am I talking to? I got this download to do it. Since then, I've recorded and produced three hundred songs, and I was just like three years ago. So it's there's strange things in this world that you know, a lot of people think are wo and his and that I think it's just part of nature and part of science. Yeah, absolutely, And you know, I think maybe we'll get to the point where that term isn't even brought up anymore because it's. Just I hope. So you know, there's no apology needed for it anymore, right.

1:06:03 Yeah, And to me, it's almost like a derogatory term then to make people think I don't want to say that because they don't look crazy at this point, who cares, who cares whatever, you know. I know my experiences. My family has been with me, I've had friends with me that I experienced it. I'm not worried about it. Absolutely. There's probably a few listeners that are wanting me to ask if you still have the film that was taken of what was on the rock by the ocean. Yeah, yeah, it was digital, but yeah I have we have. I have both from the camera which is better quality and my phone. Now, like I said, we didn't get it when it jumped off, but I have it before and I can. I could probably send you a couple copies just so you can take a look at it yourself, and I'll just sort of I'll do a shot because I really don't want the location getting out. Yeah.

1:07:03 Absolutely, and that actually that's a great thing off the side for everyone to hear. When you send video and photos and stuff regarding this, make sure the location is off. iPhones make it really easy exactly include location, but just keep in mind you're sending where it was taken whenever you send the photos in the videos exactly. And that's why I'm like, I don't you know, I'll figure out a way to either I don't know if I could give them my camera and turn that off, or if I just do a screenshot of the picture. I don't know how about I'll I could send you copies of that, And especially the close ups that I took and I turned the saturation up and take a definition or whatever it was, you can really get a good sense of the shape of it. And it was obvious that's what it is. But I didn't even need to do that because I saw what happened afterwards. But it's very interesting. And yeah, you can see in the picture of the boat next to it, and I'm not sure he might even be able to see the way it were whale breaching in one of them, but that was sort of further out. And that's another thing, was like, was this Sasquatch and I call them people myself. I think they're just a type of people. Was this scottscatch person watching this whale? Was it communicating with this whale?

1:08:24 Because it seemed to be facing there, sitting there facing this whale. So it was another strange thing about it. But yeah, I could send you pictures of that. I could say you pictures of from the gifting area and the things they've left us, all that stuff. Yeah, anything that you would be able to send over, I'd love to take a look at it. Absolutely. Yeah. Oh. Another thing that happened recently was the road was shut up at the top where our normal gift during area was. So we were down at this lawn area that's down below, and we noticed this big spot in the lawn that had been dug up and there was no claw marks in this. It looked like something was digging with its hands, huge three four foot wide hole in this lawn that was just dug up. And like I said, you couldn't see any claw marks. Like it wasn't a you think of it as a bear, you could be able to see that. So we were walking up away from it and on this trail it was real muddy. It was right after the storms. We saw a single print. I'm a size twelve and it was probably two inches longer than my foot. No tread from a shoe. You could kind of see toes in it, and it was walking away from that area. And then another fifteen or twenty feet there. Thrown aside on this trail was a mole that had been split in half

1:09:59 and looked like it scuts were sucked out and it was just the body was discarded there. Oh dear, so I think it was digging for that mole had itself a snack as it was walking away and then suck the guys unless the rest of the body down. So it seemed like that was and I've seen other prints down in that area too. Half a picture of those two. Wow, Oh my goodness. It's an active area. It's an active area. It definitely sounds like it. There's and this is a thing. Well, we'll just if we can leave it, and we'll leave it in. But so I know you're going by first name only for this, which is great. A lot of people do. I'm sure there's a few listeners that were like, man, I wish I could listen to his music, which does put you in an interesting situation. Yeah, is that anything where you can share your music without giving away who you are?

And I have probably a couple of hundred songs up there, you know, originally when I first started recording up here, you can see it here at how it's kind of rough sounding, and it's gotten better as it's gone along, just because I'm learning the ropes of home recording. You know. I used to all the all the bands I was in before I was in a band called Snag. I was in a band called Flesh Gordo, a bunch of bands from the eighties, Backstab and everything.

1:11:40 Did some touring with Flesh Groardo and you're on a record label. Son of Snake is what I call this solo project that I'm doing, and I do it all myself. Guitar, bassed, vocals, program, the drums. I don't have a drum set. But that name is an ode to an ancestral grandfather of mine from Dakota, from the Dakota Nation, and his he was I don't know if you heard the town Wabasha, Minnesota, Well that was named after my ancestral grandfather's son, that was Wabasha, the second my ancestral grandfather was well Wabasha the first, but his name given to him from the Chippewa tribe at the time that was in that upper part of the Minnesota, the uh Mississippi River up there was uh well the Sioux name, but what they call the Sioux that's actually a Chippewa name, a Jibblin name of snakes in the grass, and that was given to the Lakota tribe because of the way they were attacked.

1:12:50 They called him snakes in the grass up there. There was a short time when the Chippewa tribe and the Dakota tribe were inner marrying and there was about seventy years of peace. And that's where that's why I have both blooded me Dakota and Chippewa. But his name was his other name, you know, they have multiple names, and one of them was at Dee Panko am Diishka which is great father of snakes. And he was chief, you know. And so there was chiefs on both the Dakota side and the Chipwa side and country clan woman from the Chipwa side, which was another one of my ancestral grandmothers, was uten Oasis, very well known last country clan woman of the Pembina Chippewa nation. She was a spiritual leader, you know, and very gifted, and that's kind of where that comes from on that side of the family. But Son of Snake was a sort of an ode to Great Father of Snakes.

1:13:50 That is so cool. I love that. What was the what's the is the video on that channel where you had the music video and then it captured that. Yeah, you'll have to go back a little bit. It's like the newer songs are kind of going back to my hardcore punk roots. But about a year or two ago I was kind of doing more punk and roll stuff with indigenous mixing. And this song was called pulse pace, like as in the pulse of the of the earth, and that's what the drum beat is supposed to represent, the pulse of the earth drum, you know, the heart the other earth. Absolutely, so that song is called pulse Pace.

1:14:32 And if you watch it to the very end, you can see that spot where you'll you'll probably have to wear headphones because you know, it was recorded on a phone, so it doesn't do justice to what we heard with our ears, but you can hear it. It's basically I'm The song kind of ends that I'm smudging over this mushroom and I have this tattoo on my thumb and it's right when my wife says, I can see your fishook tattoo on your right when she says that, there's a call that goes well in the background, and you have to probably where headphones are turning it way up, you can hear it on there. I left that on there as an easter egg. Didn't really kill anybody, you know, But I guess now.
