Six backcountry campgrounds and multiple trails in the Lake Minnewanka area of Banff National Park are now closed until further notice. Parks Canada says the reason is black bears displaying food-seeking behavior. The area has experienced bear problems for months, including earlier reports of black bears making contact with tents and a bear investigating the exterior of an occupied tent.
