Society UPDATE: The search for 26-year-old Neil Gehring in Olympic National Park has ended in tragedy. Gehring disappeared after leaving the Madison Falls Trailhead on August 31 for a planned backcountry route from Boulder Lake toward Appleton Pass. After an extensive search involving ground crews, aircraft, drones and search dogs, search-and-rescue teams recovered his body on Mount Appleton. My condolences go out to Neil’s family, friends and everyone involved in the search. Follow Bigfoot Society.
