From Australia to Appalachia: Chilling Bigfoot Encounters Caught Live

0:43 I'm happy to talk to you privately, but this is I'd like to just give you some of my experiences, which is from an Aboriginal point of view, and some of the blas we have. If that's okay with you. Brother, I would love that. Yeah, go right ahead. Just a quick bit of background. My name's gilbery Fay. We are from We are the Kabi people of the Mary River, which is in Queensland, Australia. We were four years ago, five years ago. Now, we were. Trying to protect a sacred side of ours. It's known on the internet as the Gimpi Pyramid, but we call it Jackie Kundu. Now, I've known about this place for a long time. I'm pretty sure you'd known my brother, the great man Graham Hancock.

1:31 That's your brother. Oh no, not my brother, but he came and visited our site. Oh okay, yeah, okay, yeah, yeah, yeah, no, I know of grown. Yeah, he came and visited us in twenty twenty and he was just amazed at what he saw. And I got to spend three days with Graham, which was fantastic. That's a side note, brother. So we now fast forward to twenty twenty one. It's the first time I'm actually camping because we said up a camp there to protect our site, and I'm camping for the first night there. Brother. It's about Actually it was the third night I was at camp. I had gone to bed, gone to my ten early. It was prox about about eleven PM, and I was drifting drifting into sleep, and then I had this is the feeling. How I'll explain it. Something grabbed me violently by the throat. It was choking me, and I'm being lifted up. I'm being lifted up. I'm terrified.

2:29 And then he stops and slowly gently puts me down like a baby. I sat up, woke up, screamed out, helped me, helped me, and then thought, oh, everyone in the camp's going to think you've lost your mind. Brother, just I just want to say that that was an entity one of out protecting this site, and when he grabbed me, he was basically picking me up to say, who are you then wrecking me? Recognize my bloodline, my ancestor, and put me down. But that same night, two other women who were visiting the camp had a pressing down on their chest experience, and they got up and they left.

3:13 One of them left at three in the morning. So I think you understand, Is it okay if I don't go to I had those all right to share, brother, I just don't want to give too much out or sound too mental either. Well, so I would say you're in the right place to share whatever you would want to share, and don't feel like it's over here some people I feel crazy saying this. This is an area where you can be safe saying whatever you would need to, So that's not an issue, but it's whatever you feel comfortable as well. Doing is mainly the mean thing. I appreciate that, brother, because I have been watching you, but I haven't haven't spent enough time with your podcast.

3:58 So I plan to do that, brother, And I really thank you for letting me come up and say that. I really do. Man. It's a wild story and it sounds similar to some things we experience over here as well. You know, sometimes people are out in their tents and they will feel like they've been poked through the side of the tent or a hand palms their head, and so do you think this may have been related to Yowie's in the area or something more of a spirit type thing. Well, let me just say this. We have a name in our language for him, which I probably won't use today, but the nickname for him it is hairy Man. Now, the hairy Man can be very tall, but he can also be very short. He can vary from his story, varies from different mobs. We've got a lot of different mobs here, brother. We got think of it like Europe with many different countries. We had over five hundred wage groups before the boats arrived back in seventeen eighty eight.

5:06 I'm sorry, I forgot what the question was, brother. Three in the morning. I'm a little bit. I was going to say, it's got to be it's got to be early for you. So do you think in your in your opinion, do you think it was? And I want to be careful what terminology I used to but I think yaoi's okay to say, do you think it could have been related to that? Yeah, I mean that will look that that's what is commonly out there on the internet. But I knew we know exactly what he was, why he was there. He was there to protect that particular area of sacred site. Brother. It's it is on the internet, the Gimpi Pyramid, And that's why I thought i'd mentioned when Graham visited it, he was absolutely blown away. It hasn't made it into Ancient Apocalypse yet, but hopefully by season three.

5:58 But oh right, yeah, exactly. I forgot to tell you the government ended up destroying that sacred site. So that's a bit of a sad said end of that story. But yeah, my brother, Wow, what I appreciate you coming up and still sharing your story with us, and I hope that the rest of the area might have a better ending than the pyramid did. Yes, brother, we're always fighting, and if ever you want to have a yarn privately, I'd love to tell you some of the things that I haven't said publicly, just to you know, if it's of interest to you. I'm doing great, all right, Bryson. Well, feel free to share it. Why you came up?

7:26 So the reason why I was kind of hesitant is because I'm not exactly sure what it was. I'm a big hunter. I know a lot of these stories kind of start from that. But I think about two Novembers ago, I was out in kind of the Appalachian part of Kentucky, which I don't know if there's a lot of sightings out here or not. I haven't heard of it. Yeah, oh yeah, but I was going after white tail deer. It was gone seasoned, of course. Well, it was about five six in the morning, the sun was kind of starting to crest. But and I was up in a up in a deer stand, and I had a couple of cameras around the area that was showing movement a couple of days prior.

8:24 And it was deer its bridge. Why was out there. But I had a pretty powerful. Scope on my rifle, and I just waited for i'd say two three hours, didn't hear a thing. But then I heard probably like I'm getting chills. I've never heard what I heard before my entire life, not on YouTube, not not in person. Whatever it was, it was not an animal that I'd ever heard before. Its sound did like a deep, scratchy scream almost not It wasn't It wasn't any kind of mating call of anything that I've ever heard, And I ain't gonna lie scared, scared of Jesus out of me like I was, think, I didn't want to get down, so it gets scared me so bad.

9:23 I sat in that tree stand for think eleven more hours until, like I was, I was able to get down. And when I finally got down, like I just, I felt like I was being watched. Like I said, I don't know if this counts as a Bigfoot story, but man that I told that story of man, times of people, and I will never be able to explain it. Yeah, I think it counts. I mean, you know what things sound like out there in the woods. I mean yeah, I mean I've been since I was a kid of my of course my grandpama parents, and I know what they don't like, and it's nothing like I've ever heard.

10:06 So is and you don't have to get super specific, because I understand hunting can be a thing where you don't want to give stuff away. But would so Appalaysia Kentucky? Would this be eastern Kentucky? Yeah, yeah, so it's it's more eastern. I think the Appalachian Mountains run from eastern Tennessee through a little bit easter Kentucky and going northward. I say the Appalachian Mountains because I was in it, but I wasn't like deep, okay, but I was definitely in them. So a few things for you so you can kind of take a look and see if the area you were in is an active area. So I have if you have a Bigfoot Society podcast dot com, there's a sighting map and you can see marks for where I've talked to people from like Daniel Boone National Forest or Hazard County or all over. And then if you really want to get specific about Kentucky bigfoot, there's this guy named Charlie Raymond who has a research organization and he's just got so much info about bigfoot sightings in the state of Kentucky. So I'd recommend checking that out. Is it's KBRRO is the name of his organization, but that will that'll be a lot of really good info for you if you're wanting to dig deeper into this, well, I really appreciate that.

11:29 And a minute, and I do have a question, because you seem very very knowledgeable on the topic, if if this thing is real, if there's something out there of the variation of a bigfoot? Why is it so hard to capture? Why? It means it's got to be smart. It means it's got to be something that unlike that we know exists. How with all of our technology, how is it so hard to prove? So, yeah, it's a great question, and it's a lot. It's one of those where it's like it's hard to explain until we actually get to study it. But for example, like it's the question why why is it where someone hears it and then someone gets to start a recorder up and then it stops making the noise, or why is it where you've got game cameras out and you never get them on the game camera. Some people think they have a way of knowing when electricity is present or when IR is present in game cams. Even so that a lot of people that are in really active bigfoot spots will report that their battery power devices will go dead extremely quick. You know, they go from one hundred percent down to zero. And that's happened to me out in Oregon. I know people that have had their car batteries go dead over and over in these areas where there's tons of sightings that occur. So there it's

13:00 one of the fields where there's more questions than there are answers at this time. But you know, I think you're exactly right. It's like a good question to asked is why is it so hard to capture them? Because they are so so smart. I mean, the more you look into it, the weirder it will get. And just be prepared for that. 13:48 Say? Hey? Great? Great, Well, my real name is Joey. Of course, my rest my name or all day here with big Steel And but I've seen your stuff up here before and I just thought maybe I jumped on real quick, and I wanted to tell you about an experience I had when I was seventeen years old with me and. My sister. And we were I live in Thomaston, Georgia, that's about sixty miles south of Atlanta, and we were heading to a friend's house. And as we turn on this road to the right, there is one of these little runoff fridges that was basically just made out of wood that hasn't been redone in years.

14:38 I guess you know what I'm talking about, the little creek. And while we were there, my sister threw a fence and said, I don't want to go up. With this bridge, and I was like, okay, well whatever. So I was beginning to back up, and that old forward truck I had had a problem to stick it sometimes and that sixty eight forard I had, So basically what happened after that as me and her I thought it reverse, she turned arounund and said, look one of this little bridge is there's a bunch of brush to the left. Well, something had come across that road that was so big.

15:24 It's hard to explain how large this whatever than was And it took about two and a half steps and it was already across the road. And as I look at my sister, my sister turns around looked. At me, and I was like, this is this is creepy, you know, I said, did you see that? She said, yeah, what was it? And I said, I don't know, but it looked like something like a bigfoot type thing. I don't know what it was. Well, on the right hand side going up the hill is a pig slaughtering factory up there where they go ahead and slaughter the pigs and do the bacon and all that stuff. And tell them it was called it called George. It's called George Pig Factory. So are you able to hear me?

16:16 It's uh, it's getting a little rough. I don't know what's going on in the background. Now, Yeah, I don't know either. But anyway, I realized that the pig factory was up there on the right and so we went home, as told my five and my father had done told me that several times in the last ten years there has been several sightings of something like that, and I was like, oh really, And I was like, that's the first time. I had ever heard about it. But a friend of mine had told me that up there at that pig slaughter in factory that they would see something every once in a while in the back part of the woods. And that was in the backside of where the pigswater in factory was at.

17:04 Now. I haven't seen anything since then, thank god. But you know, it's a. It's it's a little erie when you. See something like that come across the street. But we've seen it with We've seen it with our eyes, and like I said, we were scared to death. We went back home and told our dash. That is extremely wild. That area is extremely active. I do appreciate taking the time to talk to me. Yeah, absolutely, real quick. So that area is quick. If you look up Angie Williamson, she is researching that area and she knows a lot about that area of Georgia.

17:50 So I look into that. Right and at Middle Georgia now, yeah, where I'm at and Thomas Now right. Up above that is called Hagen Mountain. Now, Hagen's Mountain has this big poodah about the Indian uh Indian people up at this period. Now we are famous about having what we call a voodoo doctor. I guess you want to say. Back in the late eighteen hundreds, they said. There's a lot of sightings and a lot of weird stuff up over on Hagen's Mountain. And it's been said several times they've seen a bigfoot there several times.

18:33 I have to look into that. Thank you for that, Yes, sir, no problem, all right, good to see you. Good stuff, good stuff talking with big Steel. I love it. Hey, how are you doing, sir? Yeah, I talked to you yesterday. Yeah, I talked you about the Fulton Monster and all that. But I, yes, definitely want to check out your podcast. I've already shared my story. I guess I had a couple of. Questions because you intrigued me with some of the things that you have a lot of knowledge apparently about this. There's two things I wanted to ask you very quickly.

19:14 I don't want to take up a lot of time. Number One, apparently there's not a lot of stories about bigfoot harming human beings, correct. There are, So the closest that usually gets to is when they try to get inside the house, right and they start breaking windows and stuff. So like a famous one you can look up is Honabi, Oklahoma, in around like two thousand and one, and where pretty much they were storing deer in refrigerators on their porch of the cabin.

19:59 The big folk come and get in the deer meat, and then they started to get inside the house or trying to, and so the men of the house, used their instruments and ended up taking one out and then the other bigfoot actually took it into the woods and then across the street and a truck, a trailer or a truck driver who was going by saw them across the road carrying the one who was you know, and then yeah, so that's that's the one that comes to mind. But you don't hear a lot of stories about people getting really really hurt because I think if that happens, you're not going to hear those stories. Okay, that's interesting.

20:42 So you're saying that one of them was taken out and then the other took it off, so there was no evidence of like I mean, obviously there wasn't any remains. There there was, uh, and some investigators went down there. I believe they found some blood Oh yeah yeah yeah yeah, leaves around the area. Yeah yeah. That brings up all kinds of questions right there, if they've tested blood and a uh. The second thing I wanted to ask you is because I'm very interested because I like the way you carry yourself and actually deliver this you know this live and the podcast. I want to check out your podcast. But I was just curious if you could share with me because I'm hearing all these other people that have experiences. Do you do you have a story that you could share with me?

21:42 Oh, like stuff I've gone through? Have you ever Yeah? I counted, Yeah, Oh no, I absolutely have. I've so about three years ago I started going out differently. Now I would go to a place in Iowa. I'll say where there's a lot of activity, and you know, I have experienced I've been wooked at tree knocks, There's been trees been pushed over, there's something that has walked around my tent at three am. And then I've went to Oregon a few times, and I mean we've been roared and screamed at out in the woods like thirty miles. I found handprint with an old researcher found footprints and then Cliff Berrickman took a look at him. He's like, yeah, it's legit. And that The weirdest thing that's happened yet is I was out there this last July and out with some guys from the area and I went out in the woods a little bit and then I was like, Hey, if there's anything out here, can you make a noise?

22:49 Right and a half second later, I heard three wood knocks from about twenty feet deeper into the woods, and I was like, oh my goodness, no way, And so I tried it again and the same thing happened, dude, and I was like, you know, I'm out here. I was like, I got to get back to the group. And every day since then, I'm like, what would have happened if I had just gone twenty feet into the woods? What what I've what I've found? You know? And it was not a woodpecker, not a woodpecker at all? Is that what it says? Like? No, no, But a lot of people that are like, they're like, oh, that was just a woodpecker. Now, if you've heard a woodpecker, you know the difference between that and someone who is actually, you know, hitting something on a tree or something of that nature. It sounds completely different.

23:40 Path using wood to knock the tree or are they knocking or what is a what does that sound like? Yeah, So in the community, most people will think it's a way of like communication back and forth. So half the people think that they're actually taking a piece of wood and they're hitting it against a tree. But logically you have to think, is one always going to be within reach of a tree and something to hit on the tree. So a lot of people think they actually make that sound with their mouths. Some people can actually replicate it by putting their hands together in front of their open mouth, and that's just a human so or doing it like a yeah. Sometimes people think that's it.

24:31 So it's one of those things. There is a report of a person that actually saw one making the tree knock sound with their hands. I can't remember exactly where that's from, but that's the whole thing about the tree knock. That's very interesting, very so another common thing real quickly, and then I'll go, I've noticed several people talk about a scream and that's kind of what I heard on the Boggy Creek back. In the eighties, exactly exactly the. Scream that you can't correlate with anything you've ever heard before. And I grew up in the woods too, Like the other gentleman who was talking about hunting, it was it was something that was foreign to me.

25:22 What what have you heard? And then I'll go, but what have you heard about the scream? Like what what did it sound like? Or how did they do? So this is this is a fun one because it's something I actually heard myself and the way it affected me. I find it hard to describe because pretty much I started to shut down. It freaked me out and felt the blood rush down from my head to my feet. It was just it's something I've never heard before. It was a real i'm a response, and it freaked me out real bad. A lot of people that can describe it will usually say it sounded like multiple animals together at the same time, something like a chimpanzee slash elephant trumpet slash lion type roar.

26:20 And if you there's some people where they've actually looked into recordings that have been made and I think think a thinker Thunker on YouTube is one of these guys where it almost looks like there's multiple sounds being made at the same time. And so then the question is, okay, do they have special vocal cords that allows them to do this? Because it is it's a very very strange thing. So it's again, every time you ask a question, there's like ten more questions that come up. Right, Yeah, it's really really weird stuff. 27:05 How's it going, Bud? My name is christ doing good. Yeah. I'm a long haul truck driver for about ten years now and I just had a little incident I wanted to share because to this. Day I'm still a little bit I really don't know how to explain it. But this was back in February twenty twenty one, and I drive flatbed trucks, so the one that pulls the big steal coils and stuff like that, from Canada down to east coast of the United States and Carolina, Virginia sometimes Florida and stuff like that. So my story is back in February twenty twenty one, I had a delivery to do from up there in Canada, Ontario, Canada, going down to a city called Hugert and South Carolina. And so long story short, I got the delivery.

28:09 The due is. On the way down there, I started getting close to UH Hugart with a new court steel planing down there at your Hugart, South Carolina. And at the time I didn't have a truck or GPS. So what had happened is uh I was using Google Maps, and if you ever use Google Maps, before sometimes it'll it'll try to save you two minutes or something and take you off the you know, the easy route to save two minutes or something like that. And so what it happened was I wasn't paying attention to GPS too much and I didn't realize it had it had rerouted me off the main highway there down to some back roads headed into Hugart, South Carolina, And so it took me down these back roads nearby what is known as the Francis Marion National Forest. And as I was going down there, they got a river down there and nearby the on the edge of the national forest there, it's called the Cooper River, and so, uh that time of year, it han't have been flooded up.

29:17 The revert flooded the. Surrounding woodlands with water coming up to the edge of the road. And I was carrying about seventy thousand pounds. So I had to watch the edge of this this back road I was on, because if I would have veered off a little bit to the side, I could the trailer could have flipp because it's so vaned. And so it just so happened after I passed. Over the the Cooper river there got onto Doctor Evans Road. There's a little stretch of woods there that was on the passenger side that was all flooded out, like I said, And I was trying to finesse it through there and take it a little bit slow, just.

30:00 To make sure, like I said, I didn't er off end of the shoulder. And as I glanced out with my passenger window, I seen this thing standing there. It had to have been at least eight to ten feet tall, standing there, resting it is its arm on a broken over tree, and it's just standing in the water. It's just standing in the water stares at me. I locked eyes with it, and I. Saw details of it like it had it had shaggy hair kind of like hanging down like over like kind of partially over its eyes and stuff. And then uh, it had like the arms were were a little bit long, longer than what you know, obviously a human has, and it had scraggly kind of like you ever seen a dog that had been out in the woods for a long time or something like straggly matted.

30:52 Hair kind of like hanging down off off of its arm. That was. You could notice. It was very apparent, and uh, it. Had a grayish grayish brown type of toned skin over what you could see of its face, and its chest was very defined, like a barrel barrel shaped chest, with very muscular type of you could see it's it's pectoral muscles, and this abdomen looked like it was extremely strong, and uh so I seen it, and I actually looked there. I was able to see his. Eyes through the straggly hair hanging over his face to an extent. And I drove past it, maybe about one hundred feet, and I said, because I didn't know what I was seeing at the time, I.

31:38 Didn't even realize what the hell it was. And uh. So, then after I got about one hundred feet down the road, I said, wait a second, you know what, I think that's one of those uh I think that's one of those sasquatched things they taught everybody say they're real, you know. And uh so, then I stopped the truck. I said, you know what, let me go ahead and try to take a full with this thing. And uh then I realized, I'm like, oh man, if you stop, if the truck gets stuck in that shoulder, you're gonna have a problem, because you're be right next to it, and then uh, I. Mulled over it for a second. I said, shut up back and then I got a real strong gut feeling, uh, not to go back. Don't try to reverse it, because if you ever had one of those real strong type of gut feelings where like, uh, I don't know, it's like an instinct, you know, a real strong gut instinct.

32:34 So we don't go back. Just keep going and if whoever believes you, they believe you. If they don't, then they don't. And uh, I got down there to the new course deal plan and I talked to some of the employees. I said, you guys, ever seen anything like this running around in the you know, near the Francis Marion and stuff. And they didn't. They didn't hear anything about it, but I researched it myself. Later on, I heard there was a few reports in areas. So that's the gist of my story, but I just wanted to share it. Did you send somebody else out of site into an area or whatnot?
